Thanks for a great season guys. I really mean that. I can proudly say that this was the best of the three blog leagues, both in terms of activity level and competitiveness. It's rare to have a 20-team league with so many quality managers from top to bottom.
I'dlike to start off by congratulating T-Shirt Time (Raman Mohammadi) for winning it all. I know I gave you shit for streaming during the season and what not, but the championship was well-deserved. It was only fitting that the team who was in front for the vast majority of the season ended up on top.
Wasn't particularly thrilled with how my team turned out, but gotta accept the somewhat random nature of the H2H playoffs. Just ended up running into a team that was hitting its stride (Wildcats) at the perfect time. Knew this going in and also knew I needed a 5-3 win (would lose a 4-4 tiebreaker), so I decided to spread myself a bit thinner than usual across the board, which resulted in a somewhat predictable 3-5 loss. Was playing for 1st so 3rd/4th didn't particularly matter a great deal to me.
We'll have to do this again next season for sure, and I've yet to determine how many blog leagues I'll be running and/or how many of you will be retained. Would keep all of you if I could.
Keep in touch, and if you guys need anything don't hesitate to shoot me an e-mail at jphanned@yahoo.com. For those of you in my baseball blog league, I'll catch you over there.
