    • Ish Smith starts 2nd half over Isaiah Canaan
Ish Smith started the second half in place of Isaiah Canann on Sunday vs. the Pacers.

Advice: Canaan has struggled with his conditioning and hasn't exactly looked comfortable running the point in Philly, but head coach Brett Brown has been known to shake things up occasionally. Smith was averaging 6.3 points, 5.3 assists and 1.3 steals in his previous three performances with the 76ers, but owners in most leagues should use a wait-and-see approach here. Rotoworld.com

    • C.J. Miles starts the 2nd half vs. the 76ers
C.J. Miles is starting the second half against the 76ers in place of Damjan Rudez.

Advice: Miles' foot has reportedly been an issue for a while now which is probably why he didn't start the game in the first place, but he is moving around the court fine and he doesn't appear to limited at all. We will let you know how he holds up after the game, but his owners shouldn't be concerned. Rotoworld.com

    • Matthew Dellavedova fills in again for Kyrie
Matthew Dellavedova made another fill-in start for Kyrie Irving (shoulder) on Sunday, notching three points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals in 42 minutes.

Advice: He's shooting a combined 27.3 percent over his past two starts and anyone who grabbed him for temporary value can cut him loose, as Irving is due back on Tuesday. The Cavs' purported 'rising star' is nowhere near standard-league fantasy relevance. Rotoworld.com

    • Patrick Beverley busts out of slump w/ 12 pts
Patrick Beverley scored 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting on Sunday, with three 3-pointers, five rebounds, five assists, and three turnovers.

Advice: Beverley has struggled with his shot for much of the season, but was particularly bad during the month of February, connecting on just 28.8 percent of his shots. While we'd like to view tonight's shooting performance as a positive, it does come with a bit of an asterisk as Kyrie Irving was on the sidelines. Beverley will draw a tough matchup against the Hawks on Tuesday, so that game will be a better indicator as to whether he's finally ready to step out of his shooting slump. Rotoworld.com

    • Wilson Chandler will start vs. Pelicans Sun.
Wilson Chandler will start Sunday's game vs. the Pelicans, sending Joffrey Lauvergne to the bench.

Advice: The Nuggets are opting to go with a small-ball lineup with Chandler playing the role of the stretch four, so it will be interesting to see how he fares. Chandler recently returned from a groin injury that cost him two games, but his owners shouldn't be too concerned after he was able to log 34 minutes vs. the Jazz on Friday. Chandler is worth owning in almost all leagues, while owners who took a flier on Lauvergne can start evaluating their options. Rotoworld.com

    • Randy Foye starting Sunday, Harris to bench
Randy Foye will move into the Nuggets' starting lineup on Sunday, sending Gary Harris to the bench.

Advice: Brian Shaw is shaking up his starting lineup by deploying Foye, Wilson Chandler and Kenneth Faried ahead of Harris, Joffrey Lauvergne and J.J. Hickson. Chaos reigns in Denver and Foye's starting job may be short-lived, but he's worth a speculative pickup in deep leagues in case it sticks. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden drops 33 points in win over CLE
James Harden kept up his torrid pace during Sunday's thrilling overtime win over the Cavs, notching 33 points (8-of-18 from the field, 15-of-18 from the line), eight rebounds, five assists, three steals, two blocks and five turnovers.

Advice: This was Harden's NBA-leading 26th game with more than 30 points, and this performance will certainly help his case for MVP-honors. Harden also logged 42 minutes tonight, which would suggest that his ankle injury is no longer an issue. He's averaging 22.6 points, 8.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.6 three-pointers, since the All-Star break, while shooting 84.2 percent from the charity stripe on 11.4 attempts per game. Simply put, he’s a beast. Rotoworld.com

    • Tony Snell hits three more 3-pointers on Sun.
Tony Snell scored 10 of his 13 points during the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the Clippers, adding three 3-pointers, seven rebounds, two assists and three turnovers through 33 minutes of action.

Advice: Snell was forced into action when Jimmy Butler went down with an elbow injury early in the third quarter, but he's been playing well lately, averaging 13.6 points and 2.7 three-pointers during the month of February. With Butler's status for Tuesday's game vs. the Wizards uncertain at this point, Snell is worth a speculative add in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • C.J. Miles (foot) available to play Sunday
C.J. Miles (foot) was a late-scratch from the starting lineup on Sunday, but he could still play.

Advice: This news came very late, but it sounds like Miles could still play. We'll let you know how things shake out after the game. Rotoworld.com

    • Damjan Rudez starting, C.J. Miles benched
Damjan Rudez started over C.J. Miles on Sunday.

Advice: This news came very late, but Miles' numbers as a reserve vs. a starter are nearly identical, so he should still be able to knock down some 3-pointers inefficiently regardless of how he enters the game. Rudez hasn't scored more than 10 points in his previous 10 games, so there's not a lot of upside here. We'll let you know how he does after the game. Rotoworld.com

    • Aaron Brooks scores 14 inefficient points Sun
Aaron Brookes scored 14 points on 5-of-17 shooting during Sunday's loss to the Clippers, adding two 3-pointers, one rebound, three assists and two turnovers through 31 minutes of action.

Advice: Brooks hasn't done much since entering the starting lineup, averaging just 10.0 points, 3.7 assists and 1.7 three-pointers per game. The minutes are there, but the production hasn't come around yet. He's still worth holding onto in standard leagues given the Bulls' dire need for offense, especially with Jimmy Butler (elbow) going down on Sunday. Rotoworld.com

    • X-rays on J.J. Redick's knee come back clean
J.J. Redick had a precautionary x-ray taken on his left knee following Sunday's win over the Bulls, but the results came back negative.

Advice: Redick has apparently been dealing with a calcium deposit just above his kneecap since the lockout season, but he didn't seem overly concerned when asked about it. Given that the results of the x-ray came back negative, and Redick was able to log 38 minutes on Sunday, we'll consider him probable for Monday's matchup with the Timberwolves. Stay tuned. • Evan Fournier (hip) out Sunday vs. Charlotte
Evan Fournier (hip) will not suit up for Sunday's game vs. the Hornets.

Advice: With both Fournier and Aaron Gordon (ankle) sidelined, Victor Oladipo and Tobias Harris could be forced into heavy minutes for Orlando. Harris has the most favorable matchup, and he's someone to consider for those playing daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Solomon Hill (illness) will play on Sunday
Solomon Hill (illness) will play Sunday vs. the 76ers.

Advice: Hill has been struggling since the All-Star break, averaging just 7.5 points and 2.3 rebounds per game. He's not a great to own in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Jimmy Butler (elbow) scheduled for MRI Monday
Jimmy Butler (left elbow) will have MRI on hyperextended left elbow on Monday.

Advice: We'll continue to track Butler's status closely, and we're considering him questionable for Tuesday's game vs. the Wizards. Tony Snell will likely draw the start if Butler is unavailable on Tuesday, and he's worth a speculative add in deep leagues with averages of 13.6 points and 2.7 three-pointers through the month of February. J.J. Redick finished Sunday's win over the Bulls with 12 points on 5-of-14 shooting, with eight rebounds, two 3-pointers, one steal, and one turnover through 38 minutes of action.

Advice: Redick has been playing well as of late, putting in averages of 14.4 points, 2.0 assists, and 2.0 three-pointers per game on 45.1 percent shooting from the field during the month of February. Redick is a solid source of scoring and 3-point shooting, and pending health, he'll look to finish the second half of the season strong. Rotoworld.com

    • Chris Paul puts up huge double-double in win
Chris Paul was incredible during Sunday's win over the Bulls, scoring 28 points on 12-of-19 shooting, with 12 assists, five rebounds, one block and just one turnover through 38 minutes of action.

Advice: Efficiency is why Paul is such an elite option in fantasy leagues, and he was particularly amazing during the month of February with averages of 19.1 points, 11.5 assists, 1.6 steals, and just 2.6 turnovers per game on 47.1 percent shooting from the field. Over the past month Paul has emerged as the league leader in assists per game, but his value will take a minor hit when Blake Griffin (elbow) returns to action. Rotoworld.com

    • Update: Jimmy Butler (elbow) will not return
Jimmy Butler (left elbow sprain) will not return for Sunday's game vs. the Clippers.

Advice: Butler will finish Sunday's game with 10 points on 3-of-9 shooting from the field, with two 3-pointers, two assists, two rebounds, and one turnover. The Bulls play again on Tuesday vs. Washington, and we'll be considering him questionable for that one. Tony Snell stepped up when Butler went down, scoring 10 points in the third quarter, and he'll be worth a look in deep leagues if Butler is forced to sit out on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com

Updating a previous report, Jimmy Butler has been diagnosed with a left elbow sprain and his return is questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Clippers.

Jimmy Butler was forced to leave Sunday's game vs. the Clippers with an apparent left arm injury, and his return is questionable.

Advice: Butler injured himself running into a hard screen set by DeAndre Jordan, and was forced to immediately exit the game while clutching his left arm. Cavs' head coach David Blatt said that Kyrie Irving (shoulder) will return to action on Tuesday vs. the Celtics.

Advice: Irving won't be available for Sunday's game vs. the Rockets, giving Matthew Dellavedova one more game with the starting unit. Dellavedova managed to put up 14 inefficient points during Friday's loss to the Pacers, but those numbers came with both LeBron James and Irving out of the lineup. With James set to return on Sunday, Dellavedova isn't going to be a great option in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Coach Thibs confident about Rose returning
Head coach Tom Thiodeau said that he is confident Derrick Rose will return this season.

Advice: "He'll get past this hurdle," coach Tom Thibodeau said. "He has made it through two tough rehabs. This one will be much shorter, and he'll get back to being who he is." Rose is expected to be sidelined for anywhere from 4-6 weeks, and while it would be great to see him back in time for the NBA playoffs, he likely won't return quick enough to impact fantasy leagues. Aaron Brooks hasn't exactly been lighting it up, but he is still worth owing in most leagues as long as he continues to start in Rose's absence. Rotoworld.com

Danny Green is averaging just 8.7 points, 5.5 boards, 0.5 assists, 0.3 blocks, 0.7 steals and 1.3 treys in 22.7 minutes during his six second-half games this season.

Advice: Besides the rebounds, all of those numbers are considerably down from his pre-break numbers. Green was one of the biggest fantasy steals in the first half, but he was one of the bigger roller-coaster rides of the 2013-14 season. Still, he is worth owning in all leagues and he should be fine. If your trade deadline hasn't passed, try to buy low. Rotoworld.com

    • Jeff Teague is dealing with a hamstring issue
After sitting out of Saturday's game vs. the Heat, Jeff Teague was seen getting treatment on his hamstring at practice on Sunday.

Advice: There is no word on how severe the injury is, but good news is that the Hawks don't play again until Tuesday vs. the Rockets, so there is plenty of time for him to recover. Dennis Schroder, who is coming off a 16-point, 10-assist performance vs. the Heat, will continue to be the primary beneficiary if Teague misses more time. Zach LaVine hasn't played next to Ricky Rubio in the second half of the season for more than one minute.

Advice: Even with the Wolves being shorthanded, they're still playing LaVine at point guard. The rookie's numbers in the second half don't look great, averaging 6.0 points, 1.6 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.4 treys. LaVine might log some minutes at shooting guard now because it looks like they're going to be even thinner all-around with Nikola Pekovic (ankle) expected to miss time. He is still not worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Rajon Rondo says thoughts over FA are same
Rajon Rondo said that his thoughts regarding his impending free agency haven't changed since his spat with head coach Rick Carlisle.

Advice: Rondo is going to hold his cards close to his chest, but he hasn't had the smoothest transition since leaving Boston. He is averaging just 7.6 points, 4.6 assists, 2.8 boards and 3.6 turnovers over his last five games, and he is also shooting just 43 percent from the field and 33 percent from the charity stripe over that span. He still has some value in points leagues, but he is a huge liability in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Dante Exum plays just 12 minutes Saturday
Dante Exum was held scoreless in 12 minutes against the Jazz and was benched in favor of Trey Burke for the start of the second half.

Advice: Exum has now played 19 or fewer minutes in each of his last three games, and it is starting to look like his days as a starter are numbered. The Jazz obviously threw the rookie into the fire too quickly, and while he does have a ton of potential, he is nowhere near ready to be a starting PG in the NBA. Exum should have already been dropped in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Trey Burke scores 23 points, starts 2nd half
Trey Burke replaced Dante Exum in the starting lineup at halftime and did not disappoint, scoring 23 points in a 82-75 win over the Bucks on Saturday.

Advice: Exum looks lost out there, and it's surprising that Burke hasn't yet reclaimed his starting spot. Burke has been on fire recently with averages of 18.2 points, 3.8 assists, 2.2 boards, 1.2 steals and 2.2 3-pointers in 28.8 minutes over his last five games, and it's obvious that the Jazz desperately need his scoring punch . Even if coach Quin Snyder opts to keep bringing Burke off the bench, he is still worth owning in most leagues and should continue to see his minutes trend up. Rotoworld.com

Khris Middleton scored 18 points on 8-of-16 shooting against the Jazz on Saturday, adding six boards, three assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

Advice: He is arguably Milwaukee's best weapon on offense now that Brandon Knight is no longer in town, and he has now scored in double digits in twelve straight games. In case it's not already obvious, Middleton is a must-start player and should continue to be a stud for the rest of the way. Rotoworld.com

    • Rajon Rondo scores eight in return
Rajon Rondo scored eight points in his return to the lineup on Saturday against the Nets, adding seven rebounds, six assists and four turnovers in 28 minutes.

Advice: The best part of all this for his fantasy owners is that he didn't go to the free throw line. Rondo looked awful on defense again tonight and ranked dead last on his team for plus-minus at minus-22. He's not a must-own player in standard leagues, but he should be viewed as a mid-to-late-round guy in points leagues. Rotoworld.com

Trey Burke is starting the second half in place of Dante Exum in Saturday's game vs. the Bucks.

Advice: Exum hasn't been playing well for the Jazz and was held scoreless in eight minutes at halftime. Burke, on the other hand, has been fantastic recently and is coming off a 19-point performance vs. the Nuggets on Friday. Burke is the PG to own in Utah for the foreseeable future. Rotoworld.com

Kyrie Irving (shoulder) will not play against the Rockets on Sunday.

Advice: It'll be his second game out of the lineup for the Cavs and he should be considered questionable for Tuesday against the Celtics. Matthew Dellavedova put up a fluky 14-point, 10-board game on Friday, but that was also without LeBron James. Outside of maybe giving J.R. Advice: He played just 18 minutes on Friday and maybe his illness was why. However, Hill played 18 minutes on Sunday and he's seen his production fall off in his last five, averaging 8.4 points, 2.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 treys. If he's out, C.J. • Derrick Rose (knee) starts rehab on Saturday
Derrick Rose (knee) started his rehab on Saturday.

Advice: His surgery wasn't nearly as severe as last time, so he's obviously not going to need five months like he did back in the 2013-14 season to allow his torn meniscus to heal. For what it's worth, Metta World Peace needed less than two weeks to return from a torn meniscus earlier in his career, so Rose's 4-6 week timetable is doable. Still, he's not worth owning because the Bulls will likely take it easy on him until the playoffs. Aaron Brooks has been a letdown, but he's still worth a look in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

Bojan Bogdanovic (ankle) has been upgraded to probable for Saturday's game against the Mavericks.

Advice: Rookie Markel Brown has stepped up and played really well in Bogdanovic's absence, so we would be surprised if he reclaimed his starting spot. Rajon Rondo made it clear that his spat with head coach Rick Carlisle is over and that he is ready to move on.

Advice: "Definitely, he had some frustrations with me and vice-versa," Rondo said. "So communication is definitely key in this situation. We’ve had a couple talks since then, and we’re going to move forward." Rondo was suspended for Wednesday's game vs. the Hawks, but he is expected to start against the Nets on Saturday, sending J.J. Barea back to the bench. However, Rondo is averaging just 7.5 points, 4.3 assists and 1.8 rebounds in his last four games, so his owners would be advised to leave him on the bench until he turns things around. Rotoworld.com

Wilson Chandler hit 2-of-11 shots in his 34-minute stint off the bench on Friday, finishing with six points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer.

Trey Burke scored 19 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 8-of-12 shots (including three treys) with two rebounds, four assists, four steals and a block in 23 minutes.

Patrick Beverley (illness) returned to action in Friday's win over the Nets, scoring nine points on 3-of-9 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds, three assists and three steals in 34 minutes.

Advice: This is better than we thought he'd do after multiple weeks looking banged up and/or sick. We're not sure he's over his current flu right now so owners should approach him with caution, but he's probably worth a pickup if he has been dropped after a really cold stretch. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Butler did not hit a three but who cares when he's putting up numbers like these. He has returned top 6-12 value (9/8 cat) on a per-game basis this season and with Derrick Rose out of the picture for the most part he could theoretically improve on that. Rotoworld.com

Advice: If any impatient owner drops him after a less-than-spectacular start be ready to pick him up. Advice: The Grizzlies gave out flip-flops tonight and it wasn't a coincidence because their team/fans haven't been bashful about saying the Clippers flop a lot. As for Paul, his numbers in his last nine are amazing, averaging 20.0 points, 4.8 boards, 12.1 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.2 treys on 49.3 percent from the field. In his previous eight games, Miles averaged 14.5 points, 3.4 boards, 1.3 steals and 2.0 treys on 46.7 percent from the field. If you're OK with his so-so shooting percentages, give him a look. Matthew Dellavedova made 5-of-18 from the field for 14 points against the Pacers on Friday with 10 rebounds, five assists and two 3-pointers in 38 minutes during a start.

Advice: His 18 shots from the field were close to double his previous season high (10). Even if Kyrie Irving (shoulder) needs to miss time, fantasy owners should not be expecting a lot out of Dellavedova in the coming days. Rotoworld.com

    • Update: Wilson Chandler to come off bench Fri
Updating a previous report, Wilson Chandler will come off the bench for Friday's game against the Jazz.

Advice: Gary Harris is going to stick with the starting unit for this one, and this is a very interesting move for head coach Brian Shaw. The Nuggets don't have a lot of healthy bodies, so Chandler should still be able to get his minutes, but he'll be a bit more of a risky play coming off the bench. Rotoworld.com

    • C.J. Miles (foot) will start Friday vs. CLE
C.J. Miles (foot) will remain in the starting lineup for Friday's game vs. the Cavs.

Advice: Miles is averaging 13.7 points and 1.8 three-pointers per game on 38.1 percent shooting from the field this season. He basically scores inefficiently, limiting his value to deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 4:14 pm
    • James Harden (ankle) will start Friday vs. BK
Updating a previous report, James Harden (ankle) will be in the starting lineup for Friday's game vs. the Nets.

Advice: Head coach Kevin McHale said that he has no plan to limit Harden's minutes, but he will keep an eye on his ankle and make adjustments if he’s in any noticeable pain. Harden has been an absolute beast this season, leading the league in scoring with 27.2 points per game while chipping in 5.8 rebounds, 6.9 assists, 1.9 steals, and 2.7 three-pointers. Get him active for tonight's favorable matchup against the Nets. Rotoworld.com

    • Pat Beverley is a go, likely on a minutes cap
Patrick Beverley (illness) will play against the Nets on Friday.

Advice: He will have a minutes limit tonight. Beverley probably won't be shooting the ball more than six times or so because he's in a slump. He's more of a stash in standard leagues until he gets it going. Jason Terry can be dropped in most leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 4:08 pm
    • Wilson Chandler (groin) will play Friday
Wilson Chandler (groin) is a go for Friday's game vs. Utah.

Advice: Chandler will likely return to the starting lineup, which will send Gary Harris back to the bench, and take away minutes from Will Barton. The Nuggets are banged up right now with Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) and Darrell Arthur (calf) out, so Wilson could be forced into heavy minutes playing both forward spots. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 3:50 pm
    • Bojan Bogdanovic (ankle) out Friday vs. HOU
Bojan Bogdanovic (ankle) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. the Rockets, and he is being considered doubtful for Saturday's game vs. the Mavs.

Advice: The Nets will go with the same starting lineup from Wednesday of Deron Williams, Markel Brown, Joe Johnson, Alan Anderson, and Miles Plumlee. Thaddeus Young will also have some more opportunity for playing time with Bogdanovic out of the lineup. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 3:43 pm
    • Patrick Beverley expected to play on Friday
Patrick Beverley (illness) is expected to play against the Nets on Friday.

Advice: He hasn't been playing well these days, making 19.2 percent from the field in his last three. Beverley probably won't have a lot of shots going his way tonight and is not a great play in fantasy right now. Jason Terry also loses his luster. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 3:24 pm
    • James Harden (ankle) likely to play Friday
Rockets' head coach Kevin McHale believes that James Harden (ankle) will suit up for Friday's game vs. the Nets.

Advice: Harden is already a must-start guy every time he's in uniform, and with a very favorable matchup against the Nets, he's someone to strongly consider in daily leagues. He will be without a minutes restriction, and had a 30-point outing with a full line during his last matchup against Brooklyn, so make sure you have him on your active roster. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 3:21 pm
    • Evan Fournier (hip) out Friday vs. the Hawks
Evan Fournier (sore right hip) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Hawks.

Advice: With Fournier and Aaron Gordon (ankle) unavailable, Victor Oladipo and Tobias Harris are going to be forced into heavy minutes, and both figure to be decent plug-and-play options in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyrie Irving (shoulder) questionable Sunday
David Blatt said that Kyrie Irving's (shoulder) MRI came back clear enough that he may be able to suit up for Sunday's game vs. Houston.

Advice: Irving is just dealing with a shoulder strain, so hopefully he'll be ready to go on Sunday after sitting out of Friday's game vs. the Pacers. Matthew Dellavedova will slide into the starting point guard spot for as long as Irving is out, but with averages of just 6.6 points, 4.9 assists, and 1.8 three-pointers with the starting unit, Dellavedova's value is limited to very deep leagues. • Mattthew Dellavedova likely to start
Matthew Dellavedova is expected to start against the Pacers on Friday.

Advice: This isn't really a noteworthy move for fantasy. In his 148 minutes next to LeBron James and Kevin Love with Kyrie on the bench, Dellavedova holds an 8.0 usage rate to go with an effective field goal percentage of 23.7. He's only an option in deep leagues tonight and averages about 0.3 DFS points per minute in most formats in the aforementioned situations. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyrie Irving (shoulder) ruled out on Friday
Kyrie Irving (shoulder) will not play on Friday against the Pacers.

Advice: He suffered the left shoulder strain on Friday, but he was back on the bench following the injury. Irving had an MRI and it would appear he's day-to-day because the team did not rule him out for Sunday against the Rockets. Matthew Dellavedova logged all of the backup point guard minutes on Thursday night and is likely going to start. Rotoworld.com

    • Rajon Rondo goes through full practice Friday
Rajon Rondo went through a full practice on Friday, and he will return to the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Nets.

Advice: Rondo has really struggled with the move to Dallas. He's averaging just 9.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 6.2 assists, 1.3 steals, and 2.9 turnovers on 40.8 percent shooting since joining the Mavs. He's no longer putting up elite assist totals, which was really his only source of value, and with poor percentages and limited contributions in the major statistical categories, Rondo can be viewed as a drop-candidate in standard leagues. • Patrick Beverley (illness) still questionable
Patrick Beverley (illness) went through the Rockets' shootaround, but he remains questionable for Friday's game vs. Brooklyn.

Advice: We'll be monitoring Beverley's status closely, but if he's forced to sit on Friday, Jason Terry and Pablo Prigioni would pick up most of his minutes. Terry has picked up a majority of Beverley's playing time over the past two games, but with averages of 8.5 points, 2.0 assists, 2.5 steals, and 2.5 three-pointers during that span, his value is limited to deeper leagues. • James Harden (ankle) goes through shootaround
James Harden (ankle) was able to go through shootaround, but he remains questionable for Friday's game vs. the Nets.

Advice: We'll continue to monitor this situation closely, but if he's unable to go, Corey Brewer would likely slide into the starting lineup with Pablo Prigioni and K.J. McDaniels having the opportunity for extended minutes. As for the offense, Trevor Ariza, Josh Smith, Terrence Jones, and Donatas Motiejunas would all be asked to step up, and each of those guys would serve as quality plug-and-play options in daily leagues. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

    • Rose's (knee) timetable set at 4-6 weeks
Derrick Rose underwent a meniscectomy on Friday morning, and he is expected to make a full recovery in 4-6 weeks.

Advice: Rose is full-weight bearing after undergoing the procedure, and he was able to walk out of the hospital. Rookie Doug McDermott had a similar procedure earlier in the year, and he was able to return to practice in four weeks, so things appear to be moving in a positive direction. If Rose is able to return at the four-week mark, he'll return for the final nine games of the season, however, he sits until the six-week mark he'll only be returning for the final three games of the season. Given Rose's tendency to be on the long-end of his recovery timetable, and the fact his minutes will likely be limited upon his return, owners in all re-draft leagues should probably just drop him at this point. Aaron Brooks will be the starting point guard and primary beneficiary with Rose sidelined. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyrie Irving (shoulder) doubtful for Friday
Kyrie Irving (shoulder) will not travel to Indiana on Thursday night is now doubtful for Friday's game vs. the Pacers.

Advice: Irving is set to undergo an MRI on Friday morning, so his owners will have to agonizingly wait for an update. The fact that he is not going to travel with the team should all but rule him out for Friday, but crazier things have happened. Iman Shumpert and Matthew Dellavedova will have their hands full in the backcourt if Irving sits, while LeBron James and Kevin Love will carry the load on offense for the Cavs. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyrie Irving says his shoulder feels sore
Kyrie Irving said that his shoulder was sore after Thursday's game vs. the Warriors, and he will see how he feels in the morning before deciding on his status for Friday's game vs. the Pacers.

Advice: We will keep him on the injury report unless we get a positive report after shootaround on Friday, but his owners should have backup plan ready just in case. Irving was able to play through the pain against the Warriors and managed to score 24 points, but there's no telling how his shoulder will respond once the adrenaline from the thrilling matchup with Stephen Curry wears off. If Irving sits Friday, expect Iman Shumpert and Matthew Dellavedova to see an uptick in minutes for Cleveland, while LeBron James and Kevin Love would have even more responsibility on offense. • Kyrie Irving plays through shoulder injury
Kyrie Irving played through a shoulder injury in Thursday's win over the Warriors, finishing with 24 points, three rebounds, one assist, two steals and two 3-pointers in 38 minutes.

Advice: He was simply battling soreness in his shoulder after a minor bump so his owners shouldn't be too concerned. Irving shot just 6-of-17 from the field and 2-of-8 from 3-point range, but his owners can cut him some slack considering he had to go up against the man they call Stephen Curry. Rotoworld.com

    • Bulls hopeful Rose will return this season
Bulls Vice President John Paxson said on Thursday that he is hopeful that Derrick Rose (knee) will be able to return this season.

Advice: Rose is set to undergo surgery on Friday morning at which point a firm timetable will be established, but the Bulls are hoping that this latest injury is just a minor setback. Owners might as well stand pat for now until we get more details after the surgery, but there is still a good chance that Rose misses significant time. Aaron Brooks will continue to start for the Bulls at PG in the meantime and is worth a look in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Derrick Rose set to undergo surgery Friday
Derrick Rose is scheduled to undergo surgery on his right knee Friday morning, and a timeline for his return will be announced following his procedure.

Advice: Rose will undergo a meniscectomy, which is a procedure that will remove all or part of his torn meniscus, but it's worth noting that many within the Bulls' organization remain cautiously optimistic that Rose will be able to return at some point this season. We'll be following this story closely, but given the amount of time Rose has spent sidelined over the past three seasons, we're not as optimistic as the Bulls, and Rose can probably be dropped in standard leagues at this point. • C.J. Miles (foot) doesn't practice Thursday
C.J. Miles (foot) did not participate during Thursday's practice, and head coach Frank Vogel said that he was hopeful to have him available for Friday's game vs. the Cavs.

Advice: If Miles is forced to sit on Friday, Rodney Stuckey will get all the run he can handle, although he'd remain a risky play in daily leagues as he's battled with consistency all season long. Solomon Hill would also have more opportunity for playing time if Miles is unavailable, but he too has struggled with consistency this season, and would make for a risky option in daily leagues. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

    • Patrick Beverley (illness) practices Thursday
Patrick Beverley (illness) went through a light practice on Thursday, but he remains questionable for Friday's game against the Nets.

Advice: The Rockets kept things light on Thursday, mainly going through shooting drills, so Beverley wasn't really tested and his status is still up in the air for Friday's game. If Beverley is again forced to sit on Friday, Jason Terry would get another game with the starting unit, although he remains an unattractive option in most leagues despite the starter-tag. • Wilson Chandler (groin) targeting Friday
Wilson Chandler (groin) said that he'll "more than likely" be available for Friday's game vs. the Jazz.

Advice: Chandler also downplayed the severity of his groin injury, saying it's nothing more than a "light strain," and it appears he has a decent chance of suiting up for Friday's matchup with Utah. Owners will want to check back for an official update closer to Friday's tip, but if Chandler is able to go, Gary Harris would head back to the bench where he'd return to being a negligible option in all leagues. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

    • Patrick Beverley questionable for Friday
Patrick Beverley (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against the Nets.

Advice: Beverley has missed two consecutive games with flu-like symptoms and needed an IV on Monday. He should have had enough time to recover by Friday night, but Jason Terry and Pablo Prigioni would fill in with limited fantasy value if Beverley sits again on Friday. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden questionable for Friday vs Nets
James Harden (ankle) did not practice on Thursday, and is questionable for Friday against the Nets.

Advice: With Dwight Howard (knee) already out and Patrick Beverley (illness) also questionable, missing Harden on Friday would be a big blow to the Rockets. We'll update his status as soon as possible, but some combination of Trevor Ariza, Josh Smith, Jason Terry, and Beverley (if he plays) would have to pick up the slack for Harden if he has to sit out on Friday. • Rajon Rondo unlikely to return to Dallas
Rajon Rondo is unlikely to return to the Mavericks after this season, according to Tim McMahon of ESPN Dallas.

Advice: While Tyson Chandler expects Rondo's recent run-in with head coach Rick Carlisle to bring the team closer, McMahon thinks the altercation and ensuing one-game suspension will lead the free-agent-to-be to bolt Dallas after the season. A winning season could cure everything here, but Rondo has spoken about his desire to be wooed during the free agency period so this latest incident likely won't help the Mavericks' chances to retain the mercurial point guard. • Rajon Rondo will start vs Nets on Saturday
Mavericks head coach Rick Carlisle said Rajon Rondo will start against the Nets on Saturday after serving a one-game suspension for conduct detrimental to the team.

Advice: An on-court verbal exchange and ensuing post-game shouting match in the locker room led to a one-game suspension for Rondo, but Carlisle is ready to move forward. "It’s one game, we’ll be off [Thursday]," Carlisle said. "He’ll practice Friday, and he’ll be back in the starting lineup on Saturday. The events of last night are in the past. And we’ve got to move forward." It sounds like it's safe for fantasy owners to plug Rondo back into their lineups for Saturday's game against the Nets, while J.J. • James Harden limps out of arena after win
James Harden suffered an ankle injury in the fourth quarter and played through it during a big 110-105 win over the Clippers on Wednesday, scoring 21 points with four rebounds, 10 assists and three 3-pointers.

Advice: "It’s pretty sore right now, but I’ll get some rest tonight and ice it," Harden said. "Hopefully be ready to go Friday." He limped out of the arena and he is likely going to be on the injury report for Friday's game against the Nets. Meanwhile, Harden finally stuck it to the Clippers. In his career, the Clippers kept Harden to an NBA-low 13.4 points per game before tonight. He is leading the NBA in VORP (value over replacement player) and is right at the top of the list for MVP candidates. Rotoworld.com

    • Chris Paul drops a big line in a loss
Chris Paul handed out 14 assists against the Rockets during a 110-105 loss on Wednesday, adding 22 points, three rebounds and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He's up to 9.9 assists per game and is getting very close to catching John Wall's league-leading 10.1. Paul has put up some fantasy MVP-type numbers in his last eight, averaging 20.1 points, 4.9 boards, 12.0 boards, 1.5 assists and 1.3 treys on 49.2 percent from the field and 93.5 percent from the field. He and DeAndre Jordan are carrying the Clippers right now with a little Jamal Crawford, as well. Rotoworld.com

    • Trey Burke cools off, but starts second half
Trey Burke played 29 minutes off the bench on Wednesday, but hit just 2-of-8 shots for seven points, five rebounds, four assists and two 3-pointers.

Advice: Burke came in hot, scoring 23, 19 and 16 points in his previous three games, but the good news doesn't stop there. He finally started over Dante Exum in the second half, which could mean Burke might be ready to finally retake his job from the rookie. If he's available in your league, pick him up. Rotoworld.com

    • Randy Foye continues to stink it up
Randy Foye made 2-of-11 from the field for four points with two assists and one steal in 22 minutes against the Suns on Wednesday.

Advice: His numbers in his last four are awful, averaging 5.5 points, 2.0 boards, 2.0 assists, 0.3 steals and 1.0 treys on 29.0 percent from the field and 0.0 percent from the line (two attempts). Foye was a stud after the break last season, but it's hard to sign off on adding him with this type of play. Rotoworld.com

    • Jimmy Butler has an underwhelming game
Jimmy Butler didn't step up against the Hornets during a 98-86 loss on Wednesday with 14 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and three turnovers.

Advice: He should have more on his plate with Derrick Rose (knee) out for the foreseeable future. Butler has really seen a huge boost in the past month even with Rose on the floor, so it should be interesting to see how he does now that he'll be running the offense a lot more. There's a very good chance Jimmy Buckets is a top-10 player the rest of the way. Rotoworld.com

Aaron Brooks played 28 minutes against the Hornets on Wednesday during a start, scoring 12 points with four rebounds, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He made 4-of-12 from the field, was 3-of-8 from the line, and didn't turn the ball over. If Brooks is indeed going to play 28 minutes per game, he should absolutely be worth owning in standard leagues based on his per-minute production, averaging 10.6 points, 2.7 dimes, 0.6 steals and 1.5 treys in just 19.9 minutes per game this season. If you need a point guard, he is a very attractive option. Rotoworld.com

    • Tony Snell plays 28 minutes vs. Hornets
Tony Snell logged 28 minutes off the bench against the Hornets on Wednesday with 10 points, three rebounds and two 3-pointers.

Advice: Mike Dunleavy played just 20 minutes and still has a cap on his playing time, so it's hard to be too excited about this line from Snell. However, he's likely going to benefit from the Derrick Rose (knee) injury. Snell is still only worth a look in deep leagues despite playing extremely well in the past week. Rotoworld.com

Jeff Teague hit just 3-of-9 shots and a 3-pointer for 11 points, three rebounds, four assists and a steal in Wednesday's win over the Mavs.

Advice: Teague didn't have it tonight and Dennis Schroder picked up his slack. Look for Teague to get it going again on Friday against the Magic. He came in dealing with an illness, but he hasn't looked like himself for a couple weeks now, averaging just 11.2 points and 4.2 assists over his last five games. Rotoworld.com

Wilson Chandler (groin) will not play against the Suns on Wednesday.

Advice: The Nuggets are very thin at forward and will start Danilo Gallinari and Darrell Arthur at those two spots. • Derrick Rose (knee) surgery may happen by Fri
Derrick Rose is expected to have surgery on his torn medial meniscus "sooner rather than later," and it could happen as soon as Friday.

Advice: Beat writer K.C. Johnson also confirmed that there's a growing belief the tear isn't as serious as the one Rose suffered in the same knee on Nov. 2013, which kept him out for nine months after surgery. This could be a small cartilage tear requiring a minimally-invasive procedure, but it's possible that Rose could have his meniscus removed to prevent future setbacks. We won't have a timetable until the surgery is performed, but owners in re-draft leagues can't afford to hold him with the fantasy playoffs looming a few weeks away. Aaron Brooks is an excellent pickup in Rose's absence. Rotoworld.com

Advice: That's not good against Chris Paul. Beverley needed an IV on Monday, but he should be ready for the weekend. The Rockets will likely start Jason Terry, who scored nine points in 28 minutes on Monday. Pablo Prigioni will also play close to 20 minutes. Rotoworld.com

    • Aaron Brooks starting at PG vs. Charlotte
Aaron Brooks will start at PG against the Hornets on Wednesday.

Advice: Derrick Rose (knee) is out indefinitely, leaving Brooks with a clear path to sustained fantasy value down the stretch. Kirk Hinrich has been banged up and ineffective for months, and Tom Thibodeau isn't shy about giving his starters heavy minutes. Brooks still has explosive offensive potential and he should be owned in all leagues while we see how the Bulls' rotation shakes out in Rose's absence. Rotoworld.com

    • Rondo, Carlisle had 2nd argument after game
Rajon Rondo and coach Rick Carlisle had another "emotionally charged dispute in the locker room after the game," according to ESPN.com's Tim MacMahon.

Advice: Rondo is not going to play tonight because of it and these arguments may hurt his playing time going forward, though Carlisle said Rondo will start Saturday's game as usual. The Mavericks are not much better with Rondo on the floor and they probably won't miss him tonight. In fact, his Mavs teammates made only 47.9 percent from the field off passes from Rondo. Before Rondo arrived, the Mavs were making 49.1 percent from the field off Monta Ellis passes. Rondo is not a must-own player in standard leagues. Meanwhile, J.J. Barea and Devin Harris will step up. • Mavs suspend Rajon Rondo for one game
Rajon Rondo has been suspended for Wednesday's game against the Hawks due to conduct detrimental to the team.

Advice: He got into an argument with Rick Carlisle on Tuesday and his coach benched him after that. Rondo has been awful this season and it'll be interesting to see how the Mavericks put their lineups together. The former Celtic has actually been below average as defender and the Mavericks have also fallen as an offense since he's joined them, so this suspension might help them tonight. With Rondo out, it'll be J.J. Barea likely to start with Devin Harris also getting more run. Expect to see Monta Ellis have a bigger responsibility as well. Rotoworld.com

    • Wilson Chandler (hip) doubtful vs. the Suns
Wilson Chandler (hip) is listed as doubtful for Wednesday's game vs. the Suns.

Advice: Now that they are pretty much out of playoff contention, the Nuggets have almost no incentive to play Chandler at less than 100 percent so we would be shocked if he somehow played in this one. Gary Harris drew the start in Chandler's place on Monday, but after scoring just 10 points on 4-of-12 shooting in 26 minutes, he is only worth a look in deeper leagues. Expect Randy Foye, Will Barton and Danilo Gallinari to see an uptick in minutes as well Wednesday. Rotoworld.com

    • Derrick Rose to have surgery sooner, not later
Derrick Rose's medial meniscus tear is not as severe as it was in 2013 and he is expected to have surgery sooner rather than later.

Advice: Additionally, the Chicago Tribune's K.C. Johnson added some notes this morning: Rose was told after first surgery last season of possibility another tear could happen and that "snip" procedure likely then. He also opted for meniscus to be reattached rather than removed in 2013, but the snipping procedure tends to have a shorter rehab. There's no timetable for his return, but sadly his fantasy owners can cut him in all redraft leagues. Aaron Brook is likely to score more from the point guard spot and is worth a look in standard leagues. Meanwhile, expect Jimmy Butler to really step up. Butler saw a massive increase in production the last time Rose went down, but he's grown immensely since and could have another boost. Tony Snell has also been on a tear and is worth watching. • Patrick Beverley (illness) skips shootaround
Patrick Beverley (illness) was not at shootaround and remains questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Clippers.

Advice: He wasn't able to play against the Wolves on Monday due to flu-like symptoms, but it's hard to imagine him not doing everything he can to play against Chris Paul and the Clippers. Beverley will likely be a game-time decision tonight, so his owners will have no choice but to check back later before setting their lineups. Jason Terry and Pablo Prigioni will fill the void for the Rockets if Beverley sits, but James Harden will have even more responsibility on offense if that is the case. Rotoworld.com

    • Rajon Rondo benched after argument w/ coach
Rajon Rondo had a heated verbal exchange with coach Rick Carlisle early in the third quarter on Tuesday, after which Rondo never re-entered the game.

Advice: "Emotional game and we had a difference of opinion," Carlisle said afterward. "Once it was over, it was over." Rondo appeared to ignore Carlisle's play call during an offensive possession, which led to a frustrated timeout during which Rondo and his coach openly yelled at one another in the huddle, and the fact that he didn't return to the game suggests it wasn't immediately "over" as Carlisle suggested. Rondo finished with four points and four assists in 18 minutes and we expect him to resume his typical role as a starter vs. Atlanta on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com

    • C.J. Miles scores team-high 21 points vs. OKC
C.J. Miles pitched in a team-high 21 points vs. the Thunder on Tuesday, making 9-of-14 shots with two 3-pointers, two rebounds, one steal and two turnovers.

Advice: He did his damage in 27 minutes and none of Indy's starters hit the 30-minute mark tonight, as coach Frank Vogel leaned on his bench after the starters dug a double-digit hole in the first quarter. Miles appears to have locked up a starting job and he's returning solid late-round value over the past month with averages of 13.8 points, 1.8 triples, 3.0 boards and 1.1 steals, all with solid percentages. • Report: Derrick Rose has torn right meniscus
Derrick Rose will have surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee, the Bulls announced on Tuesday.

Advice: This is heartbreaking news for the former MVP, who was just regaining his rhythm after recovering from a torn medial meniscus in his right knee last season. The Bulls will announce an official timetable after he has surgery but it's probable that he's done for the season, including the playoffs. He originally tore his meniscus last November and didn't play in a game until suiting up for FIBA in late August, a nine-month timetable which may be even longer this time considering his lengthy injury history. The only good news is that according to beat writer K.C. Johnson, "[The] initial belief is that this tear is not as extensive as tear in November 2013." Aaron Brooks, Kirk Hinrich and E'Twaun Moore will do their best to fill the void at PG in his absence, with Brooks and Hinrich standing out as the best speculative fantasy pickups. Get well, D-Rose. • Bojan Bogdanovic (ankle) out Wednesday vs. NO
Bojan Bogdanovic (ankle) did not practice on Tuesday, and he has been ruled out for Wednesday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Markel Brown will have another opportunity to start with Bogdanovic sidelined, and he'll be worth a look as a spot-start in daily leagues after putting up 10 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks during his last outing. Thaddeus Young and Alan Anderson will also have more opportunity for playing time with Bogdonavic out. Rotoworld.com

    • Rose limited at practice, will play Wednesday
Derrick Rose had some overall soreness and was limited during Tuesday's practice, but he is expected to play Wednesday vs. the Hornets.

Advice: Rose has been struggling with his shot for much of the season, and he has only hit 40.5 percent of his shots through the month of February with averages of 17.3 points, 5.8 assists and 1.0 three-pointer per game. He will however draw a favorable matchup against Mo Williams of the Hornets for Wednesday's game, so he has a chance of bouncing back from Monday's disappointing 1-of-13 shooting performance. Jeff Teague (illness) was not present at Tuesday's practice.

Advice: Teague has a day to recover before the Hawks face the Mavericks on Wednesday, but we'll consider him questionable until we hear more. If Teague is unable to suit up, Dennis Schroder would likely get the start in his absence and would make for a solid plug-and play option against the Mavs. Rotoworld.com

    • CP3 goes for 30 & 10; key TO late seals loss
Chris Paul was spectacular pretty much all night on Monday, scoring 30 points, four rebounds, 10 assists, two steals, two blocks and two threes, but a late turnover sealed the Clippers' 90-87 loss to the Grizzlies.

Advice: Paul is gaining a reputation for mistakes in big moments and that's a bit unfair, but he's still in his prime and he can totally redeem himself by going huge in the playoffs. He has dropped off a bit in the overall rankings with just top 5-7 value on a per-game basis in 9- and 8-cat leagues, respectively, but counting games played he's a top 3-4 asset. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden scores 31, triple-doubles
James Harden strengthened his case for MVP during a 113-102 win over the Wolves on Monday, scoring 31 points with 11 rebounds, 10 assists, one steal, four blocks and five 3-pointers.

Advice: He's just the sixth player since 1985 to put up a 30-point triple-double with at least four blocks. The Rockets didn't have Patrick Beverley (illness) tonight and it was all Harden all the time. Harden's numbers in his last 10 are ridiculous, averaging 27.1 points, 6.8 boards 7.0 assists, 1.9 steals, 0.8 blocks and 2.7 treys. He and Russell Westbrook are the two biggest stat machines in the NBA. Rotoworld.com

Derrick Rose hit just 1-of-13 shots in Monday's ugly blowout win over the Bucks, finishing with eight points, five rebounds, eight assists, one block and one three.

Advice: Rose's name is much bigger than his game in standard fantasy formats, due to a combined 2.6 money stats per game (3s/STLs/BLKs) and an extremely weighted 40.7 percent mark from the field. Joakim Noah added eight points and 16 boards but no steals or blocks in the win. Rotoworld.com

Tony Snell scored 20 points in the Bulls' blowout win on Monday, hitting 7-of-11 shots (including four threes) with two rebounds, one steal and one block in 31 minutes.

Advice: Snell has gained the confidence of Tom Thibodeau, at least for now, and he'll be in the rotation going forward. Whether or not he can float consistent fantasy value when the Bulls are at full strength is another question. He has been a top-100 player or better over the last month, but we're not going to bet our houses that he continues to shoot 55.7 percent much longer. If anything, a cold storm's a comin'. • Ish Smith plays 24 minutes, scores seven
Ish Smith made his 76ers debut on Monday, scoring seven points with three rebounds, seven assists, three steals and four turnovers in 24 minutes.

Advice: He has already leapfrogged Tim Frazier and he logged some minutes next to Frazier and Canaan tonight. Smith could be looking at around 27 minutes per game with his new team, but he's only worth a look in deep leagues. Additionally, this is his eighth team in five seasons. Rotoworld.com

    • Wilson Chandler (groin) out on Monday night
Wilson Chandler (groin) will not play against the Nets on Monday.

    • Wilson Chandler questionable to play Monday
Wilson Chandler (hip) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Nets.

Advice: Chandler played just 18 minutes on Sunday, and perhaps now we know why. Chandler has dealt with hip and groin injuries for a lot of his career, and he's once again experiencing soreness in his adductors. If Chandler doesn't suit up, expect Randy Foye to draw the start alongside Danilo Gallinari. Will Barton and rookie Gary Harris could also see a few extra minutes. Rotoworld.com

Bojan Bogdanovic (ankle) will not play on Monday against the Nuggets.

    • Jimmy Butler playing through thumb injury
Jimmy Butler is playing through a thumb injury, but he's not in danger of missing any time.

Advice: This is the first we've heard of a thumb injury for Butler. Taj Gibson inadvertently revealed Butler is dealing with the concern over the weekend, and Butler said he "can't remember" if there was a more serious injury than just a sprain. Butler also added that he was feeling better and didn't think he'd need offseason surgery, but he continues to wear a protective splint on it for now. Wilson Chandler played only 18 minutes in Sunday's ugly road loss vs. the Thunder, going 2-of-11 from the field to finish with four points, four rebounds and one assist.

Advice: Chandler had scored 10+ points in seven of the Nuggets' previous eight games and this was a fluky performance by any measure. Denver may start favoring young players over veterans down the stretch, which would erode Chandler's fantasy appeal, but for now we're anticipating a bounce-back effort vs. Brooklyn on Monday. • Evan Fournier scoreless in 14 minutes Sunday
Evan Fournier came off the bench during Sunday's five-point win vs. the 76ers, finishing scoreless with three assists in 14 minutes.

Advice: He was coming off a nice 16-point effort as a starter on Friday and plenty of owners got burned tonight, as Fournier pulled the short straw in interim coach James Borrego's rotations. Fournier should be benched until Orlando's backcourt settles into a reliable pattern, at least while Tobias Harris (knee) is healthy. Rotoworld.com

    • Solomon Hill logs 18 minutes in another start
Solomon Hill started Sunday's game but played only 18 minutes, scoring six points on 2-of-6 field goals and 2-of-2 free throws.

Advice: Hill added one rebound and one assist while committing three fouls, and quickly gave way to backup SG Rodney Stuckey. He's a starter in name only at this point, having exceeded 27 minutes just once in February, and is only worth pursuing as a 3-point specialist in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Jeff Teague quiet Sun w/ 10 points, two dimes
The Hawks used a big fourth quarter to defeat the Bucks on Sunday, with Jeff Teague contributing 10 points, one rebound, two assists, four steals and one block in the win.

Advice: He also turned the ball over four times in 28 minutes and fantasy owners should stay patient despite his recent mini-slump. Over the past five games he's averaging only 11.4 points, 0.6 threes, 1.0 rebounds and 4.8 assists, well below his season numbers, but it's only a matter of time before he bounces back. Rotoworld.com

    • Khris Middleton & Giannis score 19 pts each
The Bucks fell at home on Sunday, 86-97, despite getting 19 points from both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton.

Advice: Middleton made 6-of-12 FGs and 6-of-6 FTs with one 3-pointer, four boards and five assists, and he's emerged as an elite fantasy option over the past month. In his last dozen games he's averaging a stellar 16.2 points (54.2 percent FGs, 91.3 percent FTs), 1.6 threes, 5.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.1 steals. He does a little bit of everything, so the arrival of Michael Carter-Williams shouldn't throw him off, and his lucky owners can sit back and enjoy the production. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyrie Irving scores 18 points on 10 attempts
Kyrie Irving scored an efficient 18 points on 6-of-10 shooting (4-of-4 from the line) Sunday, adding two 3-pointers, two assists, two rebounds, one steal and two turnovers over 23 minutes of action.

Advice: While Irving isn't going to be an elite assists guy (5.4 per game), his steady and efficient contributions to the scoring (21.8 points per game) 3-pointers (2.2) and steals (1.5) have him turning in first-round value on the year. He shows no signs of slowing down, and he should have a strong second-half of the season as Cleveland fights for a higher seed in the East. Rotoworld.com

    • 76ers claim guard Ish Smith off waivers
The 76ers claimed guard Ish Smith on Sunday and have waived forward Malcolm Thomas.

Advice: Smith was recently waived by the Pelicans after they acquired Norris Cole in a trade, but he has a decent shot at minutes in Philadelphia so owners in deeper leagues can put him on their radar. Isaiah Canaan will get every opportunity to succeed as the starting PG in Philly for now, so Smith still has a lot of work to do before we can recommend an add. Rotoworld.com

    • Bojan Bogdanovic (ankle) doubtful for Monday
Bojan Bogdanovic sprained his left ankle during Sunday's practice, and he is being listed as doubtful for Monday's game against the Nuggets.

Advice: If Bogdanovic is unable to go on Monday there will be more minutes for Alan Anderson, Sergey Karasev, and Thaddeus Young. Young only got 12 minutes of action during his first game with Brooklyn, but perhaps with a full practice under his belt, head coach Lionel Hollins gives him some more minutes. Young and Anderson will likely be the primary beneficiaries of a Bogdanovic absence. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden scores 20 points in win
James Harden scored 20 points to snap a two-game losing streak during a 98-76 win on Saturday over the Raptors, adding five rebounds, seven assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes.

Advice: He has multiple steals in each of his last six games and climbed to No. 3 in the league in steals because of it. In that span, he averaged 28.8 points, 6.8 boards, 6.7 assists, 2.2 steals and 2.5 treys on 47.0 percent from the field and 78.0 percent from the line. Harden also has an identical assist percentage and usage rate in that span at 30.5 while the Rockets are running at a pace of 101.6 possessions per 48 while he's out there -- the Warriors lead the NBA in pace at 101.1 per 48. Harden is an MVP candidate. Rotoworld.com

J.J. Redick nailed four 3-pointers against the Kings on Saturday, finishing with 24 points, three assists and two boards in 26 minutes.

Advice: After dealing with some back spasms prior to the All-Star break, Redick looks healthy again and the Clippers are going to need his scoring touch with Blake Griffin (elbow) still on the sidelines. If you are in need of points and 3-pointers, Redick is more than worth a look in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

Bojan Bogdanovic scored 18 points on 7-of-13 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds and three assists in 37 minutes on Friday against the Lakers.

    • Danny Green has a bad game on Friday
Danny Green was quiet against the Warriors on Friday with four points, four rebounds and nothing else in 21 minutes.

Advice: This type of line was commonplace last season, but he's done a great job avoiding them this year for the most part. Green has second-round value on the season in standard leagues and he'll get it going again on Monday against the Jazz. Rotoworld.com

    • Rondo struggling mightily for the Mavs
Rajon Rondo hit 6-of-9 shots for 13 points in the Mavs' 111-100 win over the Rockets on Friday, but managed just three assists to go with six turnovers in the rest of his box score.

Advice: Rondo didn't grab a rebound and hit just 1-of-4 shots from the line, looking tentative as ever and one has to wonder how bad his confidence is shot right now. We can't think of too many better support systems and general situations he could find himself in compared to Dallas, so chances are he gets it together at some point, but he's not must-own player and in 9-cat leagues you can drop him without flinching unless you're punting turnovers. • Randy Foye plays 25 minutes
Randy Foye played 25 minutes off the bench against the Bucks on Friday with five points, three rebounds, two assists, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He logged 100 percent of his minutes at shooting guard, so Ty Lawson not playing has nothing to do with the minutes here. It's easy to forget that Foye put up second-round value after the break last season, so he's worth a look. Plus, he'll be even more appealing if/when Danilo Gallinari needs to miss time. Tony Snell played just 15 minutes against the Pistons on Friday with two points, one rebound and one block.

Jimmy Butler hit the ground running to start the second half on Friday against the Pistons, scoring 30 points with five rebounds, five assists and three 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

Advice: Butler really put on an offensive show tonight and his ability to score off the dribble seems to get better every time out. C.J. Miles scored 17 points with three rebounds, one assist, two steals and two 3-pointers in 25 minutes against the 76ers on Friday.

Advice: As per usual, it's been a bumpy ride for Miles. He's had a two-point outing and a 26-point one in his last five, averaging 13.4 points, 2.6 boards, 1.0 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.4 treys on 41.4 percent from the field in that span. Chris Paul handed out 16 assists against the Spurs on Thursday during a 119-115 win, adding 22 points, five rebounds, one steal and two 3-pointers.

Advice: This was a huge win for the Clippers to move them up to No. 5 in the Western Conference standings. CP3's numbers have taken off without Blake Griffin (elbow) in his last three, averaging 19.7 points, 5.7 boards, 13.7 assists and 1.3 treys -- all wins against Western Conference playoff teams (Spurs, Rockets and Mavericks). Paul raised his assists to 9.8 per game with tonight's performance and there's a chance he can catch John Wall and Ty Lawson (10.1) for the league lead. Rotoworld.com
