• Checks back in
Caruso (foot) has returned to Wednesday's Play-In Tournament game against the Hawks,

Advice: Caruso took a brief trip to the locker room late in the first quarter after colliding with Andre Drummond. However, he's checked back into the contest and should be good to go. Rotowire.com 33 minutes ago
  • Exits game
Caruso went back to the locker room during Wednesday's game against the Hawks with what appeared to be a right foot injury, Cody Westerlund of 670TheScore.com reports.

Advice: Andre Drummond stepped on Caruso's foot in transition and ran over Caruso at half-court. Caruso quickly removed himself from the game and limped back to the locker room. He should be considered questionable to return. Rotowire.com 45 minutes ago
  • Tyrese Maxey scores 19 points in Play-In win
Tyrese Maxey struggled with his shot on Wednesday but still finished with 19 points (6-of-16 FGs), three rebounds, six assists and one triple against the Heat.

Advice: After a breakout season that will likely result in him winning the Most Improved Player award, Maxey’s first game of the postseason didn’t go very well. Still, they were able to walk away with a win, which means they’ll go on to face the Knicks in the first round of the playoffs. He averaged 26.3 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists in three games against New York this season, and they’ll need him to play better than he did in this game if they hope to pull off the upset and advance to the second round. • Tyler Herro leads Heat with 25/2/9 line in loss
Tyler Herro led Miami with 25 points (9-of-27 FGs), two rebounds, nine assists and five turnovers against Philadelphia on Wednesday.

Advice: Miami’s two best scoring options in Herro and Jimmy Butler both struggled to score in this game as they shot a combined 14-of-45 from the floor. Herro suited up for the final six games after missing over a month with a foot injury, but he was an effective, efficient scorer in all of those. He’ll look to get back on track against either Chicago or Atlanta on Friday, with a chance to make the playoffs on the line. If they win, they’ll go on to face the Celtics in round one. • Still not practicing, status TBD
Lillard didn't practice Tuesday or Wednesday due to lingering groin and abductor injuries, Jamal Collier of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: Lillard has been dealing with the injuries for the last three weeks and missed four of the Bucks' final nine regular-season games. The superstar sharpshooter said Tuesday he won't be 100 percent for the postseason but added that no one is at this point in the campaign. Coach Doc Rivers said tests on Lillard's lower body returned clean but added that he still wanted to give his point guard "a little more rest." Rotowire.com Today, 12:42 pm
  • Chris Paul logs 18 minutes in loss to Sacramento
Chris Paul accounted for three points (1-of-3 FGs), one rebound, two assists, and one 3-pointer in 18 minutes in Tuesday’s 118-94 loss to the Kings.

Advice: Paul’s first season with the Warriors ended poorly, as the veteran point guard did not offer much value when on the court. That wasn’t the case during the regular season, as CP3 (Yahoo ADP: 72.7) was a top 100 player in 9-cat formats. However, Paul only appeared in 58 games, averaging a career-low 9.2 points and 6.8 assists (second-lowest average of his career). The 2024-25 season is a contract year for the 38-year-old Paul, who turns 39 in May. It’s difficult to envision his role being enhanced, so look for the ADP to be considerably lower than it was ahead of this season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:52 pm
  • Stephen Curry scores team-high 22 points vs. Kings
Stephen Curry shot 8-of-16 from the field and 3-of-3 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 118-94 loss to the Kings, scoring 22 points with four rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block, and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

Advice: Curry’s 15th NBA season came to a disappointing end, even though he led the Warriors in scoring. Six turnovers countered the shooting percentages, and the Warriors committed 16. Looking ahead to next season, Curry is one of the few “sure things” on the roster. Beginning the 2023-24 campaign with a Yahoo ADP of 6.7, he ranked within the top 20 in 8-cat formats and the top 25 in 9-cat. Whether or not Curry is worthy of being selected with a top-10 pick in drafts will depend partially on what the Warriors’ overall roster looks like. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:02 pm
  • De’Aaron Fox scores 24 in blowout of Warriors
De’Aaron Fox played 39 minutes in Tuesday’s 118-94 win over the Warriors, accounting for 24 points (11-of-25 FGs, 0-of-1 FTs), four rebounds, six assists, two steals, and two 3-pointers.

Advice: All five Kings starters finished Tuesday’s win in double figures, with Fox being one of two (Keegan Murray) to score at least 20. In addition to the 24 points, Swipa dished out six assists while only committing one turnover in his 39 minutes on the floor. Next up for the Kings is a matchup with New Orleans on Friday, and the Pelicans won all five meetings by an average of 19.0 points. Fox struggled with inefficiency in those matchups, shooting 40.9% from the field and averaging 4.0 turnovers per game. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:44 pm
  • CJ McCollum struggles, scores nine points vs. LAL
CJ McCollum finished Tuesday’s 110-106 loss to the Lakers with nine points (4-of-15 FGs), three rebounds, six assists, and one 3-pointer in 30 minutes.

Advice: With Brandon Ingram (11/4/4 with one 3-pointer in 25 minutes) still under a minutes restriction, the Pelicans could not afford a bad shooting night from McCollum. Unfortunately, that’s precisely what happened on Tuesday, putting them in a “winner-take-all” game against the Warriors or Kings on Friday. And McCollum entered the postseason on a high, scoring 25 points or more in seven straight games. With Zion Williamson’s status for Friday unknown due to left leg soreness, McCollum will need to come up big for a team that has lost its last six home games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:08 pm
