Bobby Portis posts 15/11/1 line in Game 1 victory
Bobby Portis finished Sunday’s 109-94 win over Indiana with 15 points (7-of-15 FGs, 1-of-1 FTs), 11 rebounds, and one assist in 31 minutes.
Advice: As he did to end the regular season, Portis remained in the starting lineup as the replacement for the injured Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf). The Mayor of Milwaukee was inconsistent as a scorer in the final regular season games, but the rebounding was never a concern. Portis grabbed 11 boards on Sunday while also scoring 15 points, properly supplementing the scoring of Damian Lillard (35) and Khris Middleton (23). The Bucks will need more of the same from Portis as they continue without Antetokounmpo, who could return at some point in this series. Game 2 is Tuesday night in Milwaukee.
