DeMar DeRozan leads Bulls with 30 points Sunday
DeMar DeRozan played 44 minutes in Sunday’s 120-119 overtime loss to the Knicks, accounting for 30 points (11-of-24 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), five rebounds, five assists, four steals, one block, and two 3-pointers.
Advice: DeRozan had an opportunity to give Chicago the lead in the final seconds of overtime, but his mid-range jumper fell short. He ends the regular season scoring 30 points or more in four straight and five of his last six games, so it’s safe to say DeRozan is in good form heading into the Play-In tournament. That stretch began with a 31-point effort against the Hawks on April 1, but Atlanta won that game by 12. The two teams meet again on Wednesday in Chicago, with the winner visiting the loser of the 7/8 matchup between Philadelphia and Miami.
