    • Draymond Green fills the stat sheet
Draymond Green had one of his usual stat-stuffing lines against the Suns on Saturday with nine points, 11 rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

Advice: He destroyed the Suns on defense and the scorekeepers looked to have missed another block on Eric Bledsoe today. Green just won't stop putting up numbers and he's going to be a fantasy stud all season. Even with the Warriors at full strength up front, Green has still been a top-30 fantasy player in the past two weeks. Rotoworld.com

    • Gerald Green plays 13 minutes
Gerald Green played 13 minutes against the Warriors on Saturday with eight points, four rebounds, one assist, one steal and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He was a DNP-CD on Friday and coach Jeff Hornacek said he just tried a rotation without Green. The Suns won that game against the Bulls, so that's probably not a good sign. That said, the four-fingered assassin is worth owning in standard leagues for now. Rotoworld.com

    • Jared Dudley scores 18 points in start
Jared Dudley stayed hot against the Blazers on Saturday night with 18 points, six rebounds, two assists, three steals, one block and three 3-pointers.

Advice: He lit it up on Thursday in his first start with a full 17-point line. Ersan Ilyasova (groin) is likely going to miss more time and the Bucks have looked amazing in their last two games with their smaller lineup. Dudley has enough upside to grab in standard leagues. Although, he would likely cool off once Ilyasova is back. Rotoworld.com

    • Nicolas Batum has another really bad game
Nicolas Batum was quiet against the Bucks during a 95-88 loss on Saturday with five points, seven boards, four assists and two steals in 37 minutes.

Advice: Needless to say, this month was not Batum's best. In his 14 January games, he only had a 14.7 usage rate with averages of 8.3 points, 5.6 boards, 4.1 assists, 0.8 steals and 1.3 triples on 35.0 percent from the field. His fantasy owners should think about benching him for now, but cutting him is not an option. Additionally, the Blazers have gone 2-8 in their last 10. Rotoworld.com

    • Danny Green stays hot on Saturday vs. LAC
Danny Green connected on five more 3-pointers on Saturday against the Clippers, finishing with 16 points, two boards, three steals and three blocks in 30 minutes.

Advice: He has now hit nine 3-pointers over his last two games, and it appears that he is finally over his shooting slump. Green's ability to produce in all categories makes him very valuable in fantasy, and this line confirms that he will be a must-own player for the rest of the way. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Durant returns, scores just 15 points
Kevin Durant returned from a toe injury on Saturday in an 85-74 loss to the Grizzlies, scoring 15 points on 5-of-16 from the field with seven rebounds, four assists, one steal and four 3-pointers.

Advice: While Memphis usually shuts down elite scorers, KD lit them up last season with 30.8 points per game in four 2013-14 outings. He's had bad games much more often this season compared to last year, but he should get it figured out soon. Perhaps there's a chance to buy low on the No. 1 fantasy player in the past five seasons. • Kawhi Leonard scores 24 points in loss on Sat
Kawhi Leonard scored 24 points on 8-of-18 shooting in a loss to the Clippers on Saturday, adding five boards, three steals and four 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Advice: It was the most points he had scored since Dec. 1 against the 76ers, and he also tied his season-high of four 3-pointers tonight. As long as Leonard remains healthy, he's going to be an elite fantasy asset for the rest of the season. Rotoworld.com

    • LeBron James scores 36 points in victory
LeBron James scored 36 points in a 106-90 win against the Wolves on Saturday with six rebounds, five assists, one block and three 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

Advice: That rest served him well and the Cavs finished extremely strong, outscoring the Wolves 30-11 in the fourth quarter. The Cavs have won 10 straight and LeBron has been on cruise control while he is active. He did a wrist injury to cost him a game on Wednesday and he also had back and knee trouble, so he might have a tough time staying healthy. Still, he'll be a monster while he's active. Rotoworld.com

    • Revenge Game? Andrew Wiggins scores 33 points
Andrew Wiggins scored a career-high 33 points against the Cavs on Saturday during a 106-90 loss, adding one rebound, one assist, four steals and three 3-pointers.

Advice: He made 14-of-25 from the field and looked great against the team that drafted him. Wiggins had himself a great start to the 2015 year, averaging 19.8 points, 4.6 boards, 2.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 0.9 treys on 47.1 percent from the field. This guy is going to be good for a long time. Rotoworld.com

    • J.R. Smith cools off vs. the Wolves
J.R. Smith cooled off against the Wolves on Saturday with five points, one rebound, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He has been hit and miss in his last five, averaging 10.2 points, 1.6 boards, 2.8 assists, 1.4 steals and 2.2 treys on 33.9 percent from the field. Smith's honeymoon period is over and his shots will go down now that the Cavs are healthy, so he's not worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyle Singler scores 14 points in win
Kyle Singler had 14 points, four rebounds, four assists, three steals and two 3-pointers on 6-of-12 shooting in another start on Saturday.

Advice: This was his first double-digit scoring night in five games (he failed to score in his previous game) and just the fifth of January. We'd need to see him start playing like this on a regular basis before telling you to pick him up, but if you rolled the dice on him in DFS, he came through. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Martin plays well in start
Kevin Martin had his first start of 2015 against the Cavs on Saturday during a 106-90 loss, scoring 14 points with six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He made just 6-of-19 from the field and he's really struggled from there since his return, making just 32.7 percent from the field in his three games back. He averaged 18.0 points, 4.0 boards, 2.3 assists and 1.7 treys. As long as he's healthy, he'll be worth starting in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Corey Brewer scores 10 in loss to Rockets
Corey Brewer hit 3-of-5 shots and a 3-pointer for 10 points, three rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes off the bench on Saturday.

Advice: Brewer has quietly scored in double figures in seven straight games, making him a borderline look in many leagues. But if James Harden's bruised knee develops into a problem, he could become a must-add. Rotoworld.com

    • Not so Smoove: Josh hits 3-of-11 shots
Josh Smith came off the bench to hit just 3-of-11 shots for seven points, seven rebounds, three assists, a steal and two blocks in Saturday's loss to his former team.

Advice: If you were going for the revenge-game angle, it backfired, but he at least put up some decent stats while being booed in Detroit. With Dwight Howard expected to miss the next month with a knee injury, Smith is going to be a big part of the Rockets' plans going forward, like it or not. Rotoworld.com

    • Terrence Jones fizzles in loss to Pistons
Terrence Jones disappeared on Saturday with three points and five rebounds on 1-of-5 shooting.

Advice: He played just 19 minutes and picked up three fouls, so we're not overly concerned. However, after his long layoff, it's going to take him time to get back to form, and if Dwight Howard wasn't out for the next month with a knee injury, we wouldn't even tell you to own him. But given Howard's lengthy absence, there's a decent chance that Jones gets hot at some point in the next couple weeks. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden plays well despite knee pain
James Harden left Saturday's game with a sore knee, but returned to finish in a loss to Detroit with 26 points, seven rebounds, nine dimes, two steals, a block and two 3-pointers on 10-of-17 shooting.

Advice: He's got a bruised knee and it doesn't sound serious, but owners should watch for news on him. The Rockets might use caution with Harden now that it looks like Dwight Howard will be out a month with his own knee injury. Rotoworld.com

    • D-Mo stays hot in Rockets loss to Pistons
Donatas Motiejunas hit 10-of-13 shots for 21 points, four rebounds and three assists in Saturday's loss at Detroit.

Advice: Dwight Howard is expected to miss a month with his knee injury, so D-Mo's not going anywhere. Some blocks, steals and more boards would have been nice, but at least he shot lights out. He racked up a career-high 26 points with 12 points and three 3-pointers on Friday night, so it's clear he's in the zone right now. Rotoworld.com

    • Danilo Gallinari scores 15 points in start
Danilo Gallinari played 24 minutes in a start at power forward against the Hornets on Saturday, scoring 15 points with four boards, two assists and one 3-pointer.

Advice: It was the most minutes he had played since returning from yet another knee injury, so it will be interesting to see how his body responds to the increased workload. Gallinari can be a decent source of points and 3-pointers if he stays healthy, but the Nuggets will likely keep his minutes in check for the foreseeable future which will really dampen his outlook. • Lance Stephenson hands out 13 assists in win
Lance Stephenson handed out a career-high 13 assists in Saturday's win over the Nuggets, adding four points, five boards and two steals in 30 minutes.

Advice: He did shoot just 2-of-10 from the floor tonight, but it was great to see him willing to share the basketball with his teammates. Stephenson should see a larger role now that Kemba Walker (knee) is sidelined, so hopefully he can continue to build on this performance. Given his upside, Stephenson is worth a look in most leagues. • James Harden is dealing with a bruised knee
James Harden is simply dealing with a bruised knee and will start the second half.

    • Danilo Gallinari will start at power forward
Danilo Gallinari will start at power forward in place of Kenneth Faried (illness) against the Hornets.

Advice: He is very likely to have a minutes cap tonight and we'd be surprised to see him play more than 26 minutes. Gallinari has a slew of knee injuries, so it's going to be hard to grab him in most fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden (knee) leaves Saturday's game
James Harden left Saturday's game with a knee injury and his return is questionable.

Advice: He suffered the injury on a drive to the basket and immediately grasped his knee. Harden limped slowly to the locker room so we should be able to provide an update very soon. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Durant (toe) will start vs. Grizzlies
Kevin Durant (toe) will start in Saturday's game against the Grizzlies.

Advice: After two straight games on the sidelines, Durant will return to action in a crucial game against a strong Memphis team. Durant's probably not going to be 100 percent, but he's still obviously a must-start option. Perry Jones will move to the bench with this news and is safe to cut in almost all leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Yesterday, 4:59 pm
    • Kevin Martin will start on Saturday vs. Cavs
Kevin Martin will join the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Cavaliers.

Advice: Coach Flip Saunders opted to move Gorgui Dieng to the bench, but there's no word as to whether or not this is a permanent move. Martin did close out the last two games for Minnesota, so it's not exactly surprising to see him in the starting lineup. As long as he can stay healthy, Martin is worth owning in standard leagues. • Anti-Ironman: Ersan Ilyasova out again vs POR
Ersan Ilyasova (groin) will not play against the Blazers on Saturday.

Advice: He just can't stay healthy with the injuries just piling up. Fantasy owners can cut him in most leagues and he'll likely be on a minutes limit upon his return. Expect Jared Dudley and Khris Middleton to benefit most with Ghostface Ilya out of the lineup. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Durant (GTD) going through warmups
Kevin Durant (toe) is going through warmups on Saturday before the game against the Grizzlies.

Advice: He is a game-time decision and we should have news on his status soon. It appears Durant is at least trying to suit up for a very important game. His owners will want to check back soon. If he's out, Perry Jones will start while Dion Waiters and Reggie Jackson benefit most. Rotoworld.com

    • Marco Belinelli (groin) still out on Saturday
Marco Belinelli (groin) will not play against the Clippers on Saturday.

    • DeMarre Carroll, Thabo Sefolosha out on Sat
DeMarre Caroll (Achilles) and Thabo Sefolosha (calf) will not play vs. the 76ers on Saturday.

Advice: Kent Bazemore will play all the minutes he can handle on Saturday, and is worth a long look in deeper leagues. Carroll should still be held onto in most leagues, and the Hawks probably just didn't want to risk him against the lowly 76ers. We will provide additional updates as needed. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Durant (toe) is a game-time decision
Kevin Durant was a partial participant at shootaround on Saturday morning, and he will be a game-time decision against Memphis.

Advice: He has been sidelined for the past two games due to his sprained toe, but a huge matchup against Memphis could prove too tempting for him not to play. Durant's owners will have to check back for official confirmation prior to tip-off, but he certainly belongs in all lineups is if he's activated. If Durant sits, expect Perry Jones to draw another start, but Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka are the true beneficiaries if that's the case. Rotoworld.com

Marvin Williams (concussion) will not play vs. the Nuggets on Saturday.

Advice: He was expected to be cleared in time for this contest, but now it's looking like he won't return until Monday against Washington. Cody Zeller is the primary beneficiary of this news, while rookie Noah Vonleh may make another appearance off the bench as well. Rotoworld.com

    • Carmelo Anthony praises Kobe Bryant
Carmelo Anthony praised Kobe Bryant (shoulder) on Friday, and said that he believes that Bryant will return at full strength next season.

Advice: "I know him, man," Anthony said. "This is not a way he wants to go out. I'm pretty sure he'll do whatever he has to do to get back on that court one more time before he hangs them shoes up." While all signs point to Bryant returning next season, there is always going to be some speculation about him retiring considering he has been in the league for nearly 20 years now. Gerald Green got his first DNP-CD of the season on Friday against the Bulls.

Advice: Green was not hurt and he also said it was surprising, but looking somewhat jovial on the bench compared to the usual display of unhappiness when benched it was curious to say the least. Jeff Hornacek said he could very well get tapped next game and it wouldn't be surprising if he got a few extra looks. His body of work on the year suggests he should be owned in most formats. Gordon Hayward was on fire in the Jazz's 110-100 win over the Warriors on Friday, scoring 26 points on 9-of-20 shooting (1-of-3 from deep, 7-of-8 from the line) with 15 rebounds, six assists and three steals.

Advice: So much for that sinus congestion. He settled down after a real hot start, but he is starting to push his way back up the ranks, now sitting at a top 25-35 return on the season (8/9 cat). Derrick Favors added 15 points, four rebounds, two steals and three blocks in the win. Rotoworld.com

LeBron James played through his right (shooting) wrist injury in the Cavs' 101-90 win over the Kings on Friday, scoring 19 points on 7-of-16 shooting (including a three) with three rebounds, seven assists, four steals, two blocks and six turnovers.

Advice: James appeared to aggravate his wrist injury during a fall but he appears to be able to play through it so owners can cautiously expect this to pass. Timofey Mozgov added seven points, eight boards, one steal and three blocks in the win. Rotoworld.com

J.R. Smith scored 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting (including four threes) with three rebounds, five assists and four steals in Friday's easy win over the Kings.

Advice: The Kings are terrible right now but regardless Smith earns a lot of goodwill with owners after this one. Iman Shumpert logged 22 minutes and didn't do much, as so far it looks like Smith will have some staying power. Rotoworld.com

    • Donats Motiejunas scores 26 points vs. Boston
Donatas Motiejunas made 11-of-16 from the field for a career-high 26 points against the Celtics on Friday during a 93-87 win, adding 12 rebounds, one assist and three 3-pointers.

Advice: He had a productive 16-point game on Wednesday and the loss of Dwight Howard seems like it'll help out D-Mo quite a bit. Motiejunas is more than capable of playing center for the Rockets and the team is really going to push the pace now that they'll have smaller lineups, so he's going to be worth owning in standard leagues for now. • Josh Smith has a productive game
Josh Smith was effective against the Celtics on Friday with 15 points, 10 rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes.

Advice: He's played terrific in his past two games and the Rockets will need to go small with Dwight Howard (knee) out indefinitely. Smith seems to have a great rhythm in the offense right now, but we all know he's going to slow down and miss shots. If you want to give him a look and grab him, go for it. For what it's worth, we like Terrence Jones more in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Terrence Jones plays 20 minutes
Terrence Jones played 20 minutes against the Celtics on Friday with seven points, two boards and three blocks.

Advice: He played 21 minutes on Wednesday and the Rockets are going to keep his minutes in check for a bit. Jones has a huge upside and the Rockets are going to need him to play him more with Dwight Howard (knee) out indefinitely, so more minutes are on the way. Jones is worth owning in standard leagues. • Nicolas Batum still dealing with wrist issue
Nicolas Batum battled through his wrist injury on Friday against the Hawks, finishing with seven points, five rebounds and two assists in 32 minutes.

Advice: He left the game in the first quarter due to pain in his wrist. Batum was able to return to the game, but it was obvious he's not at 100 percent. His fantasy owners are just going to have to hang in there and the Blazers might want to sit him down. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Martin stays busy, makes 5-of-18 shots
Kevin Martin played 30 minutes off the bench against the 76ers on Friday, making 5-of-18 from the field for 19 points with two rebounds, five assists and two 3-pointers.

Advice: While he did come off the bench, Martin closed out the game in each of his last two outings. He was highly involved in the offense, but the rust is there based on this game and his 7-of-18 from Wednesday. As long as he's active, he's worth starting in standard fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Andrew Wiggins turns it on late
Andrew Wiggins scored 15 points on 7-of-17 from the field against the 76ers on Friday with four rebounds, three assists, one steal and one turnover in 36 minutes.

Advice: That's two quiet games in a row with Kevin Martin back in the lineup. Wiggins only had 12 points in 40 minutes on Wednesday and wasn't quite as aggressive. He's probably not going to be the caliber of player he was to start 2015, but Wiggins should still be a lot better than this recent two-game cold spell. Try to buy low if his owner is worried. • LeBron James (wrist) will play vs. Kings
LeBron James (wrist) will play against the Kings on Friday.

Advice: Well, most DFS owners can change their plans now. James usually doesn't play limited minutes, so his fantasy owners can plug him back in. If you were expecting Kyrie Irving to have another 55-point game, it's a little less likely now. J.R. Smith also takes a hit here. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Martin coming off bench again
Kevin Martin will come off the bench against the 76ers on Friday.

Advice: He had a terrific second half in his return on Wednesday, finishing with 21 points, four rebounds, one assist and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes. In fact, Martin had a 34.6 usage rate in that game, so expect him to be busy while he's out there. Rotoworld.com

    • LeBron James (wrist) a game-time decision Fri
LeBron James (wrist) will be a game-time decision for Friday's game against the Kings.

Advice: LeBron is going to go through a pregame evaluation, which could change things, but he is still considered doubtful for tonight's game. If James sits, Shawn Marion will likely draw another start at SF, but the main beneficiaries of his absence will be Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving. J.R. Smith will also have some more opportunities to create on offense. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMarre Carroll now ruled out vs. Blazers
DeMarre Carroll (left Achilles strain) will not play against the Blazers on Friday.

Advice: He is just banged up and the Hawks will allow him to heal. Carroll has been one of the more efficient small forwards in the NBA and his steals numbers have pushed him to mid-round value on the year. His fantasy owners should bench him tonight and expect him to play on Saturday against the 76ers. Thabo Sefolosha will start. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMarre Carroll likely out Friday vs. POR
DeMarre Carroll will likely be out for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Advice: If Carroll does indeed sit, Thabo Sefolosha would likely slide into the starting lineup. Carroll was described as "a little banged up," after sitting out Thursday's practice, and it appears he's going to be watching Friday's game from the sidelines. Through five starts at the forward spot this season, Sefolosha is averaging 9.2 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.0 steal, and 1.0 block per game, so he can only be viewed as an option in deeper leagues. Updating a previous report, Nicolas Batum (wrist) is officially being listed as probable for Friday's game against the Hawks.

    • Marco Belinelli (groin) questionable for Sat.
Marco Belinelli (groin) went through roughly 80 percent of Friday's practice, and he is being listed as questionable for Saturday's game against the Clippers.

Advice: Belinelli will likely be eased back into the rotation after spending the past 10 games on the sidelines, so there's not much reason to go and grab him in standard leagues. However, when Belinelli is at 100 percent, he'll likely take away some minutes from Patty Mills and Cory Joseph. Rotoworld.com

Nicolas Batum (wrist) said that he will play Friday vs. the Hawks.

    • Nicolas Batum (wrist) not on injury report
Nicolas Batum (wrist) is not being listed on the Trail Blazers' injury report.

Advice: While this isn't a definitive statement that Batum will suit up for Friday's game against the Hawks, it is an encouraging sign. We'll continue to monitor his status closely, but it should be noted that Batum has an unfavorable matchup today against the Hawks, so he's not looking like a great option in daily leagues. LeBron James (wrist) was a limited participant during shootaround, and he remains doubtful for Friday's game vs. the Kings.

Advice: James has been taking more time off than usual this season, and that has to be frustrating to owners who burned a No. 1 or 2 overall selection on him on draft day. If James sits, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love will be the primary beneficiaries, with J.R. Smith also seeing some increased opportunities on offense. Rotoworld.com

    • Kobe Bryant says plan is to be ready for camp
Kobe Bryant confirmed that the plan is for him to be ready to play come September when the Lakers open up their training camp.

Advice: Bryant, speaking with the media the day after undergoing season-ending surgery to repair his right rotator cuff, said that his shoulder is feeling "sore, but it's okay." We'll continue to monitor Bryant's status closely, but it's worth noting that a return in September puts him one month ahead of his initial nine-month timeline, so there's a decent chance he's not ready to go by training camp. • Danilo Gallinari scores eight points
Danilo Gallinari scored eight points with three rebounds and one 3-pointer in 14 minutes against the Grizzlies on Thursday.

Advice: The Nuggets were blown out badly, but Gallinari did play in garbage time. In fact, six of his eight points came in the last 91 seconds of the game. He is going to have a minutes restriction for maybe the rest of the season, so he can be left on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Jared Dudley scores 17 points in start
Jared Dudley moved into the starting lineup for Ersan Ilyasova on Thursday, scoring 17 points with four rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers in 26 minutes.

Advice: The Bucks were rolling on offense with 12 triples tonight. Dudley was really cooling off before tonight, but the loss of Ilyasova should open up some playing time for Dudley. With Ghostface Ilya only day-to-day, Dudley is more of a stop-gap add for now. Rotoworld.com

    • Jared Dudley will start at PF on Thursday
Jared Dudley will start at power forward for Thursday's game against Orlando with Ersan Ilyasova (groin) unavailable.

Advice: Dudley is more of a 3-point specialist, but he could see an uptick in value with the move to the starting lineup and a favorable matchup against the Magic. He's worth a dice roll for those playing daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Nicolas Batum (wrist) status uncertain Friday
Nicolas Batum's (wrist) status for Friday's game against the Hawks is unknown at this point.

Advice: Batum is likely headed for another game-time decision, but owners can expect another update on his status following Friday morning's shootaround. If Batum is forced to sit, there will be more touches on offense for Damian Lillard, Wesley Matthews, and LaMarcus Aldridge. Rotoworld.com

    • Budenholzer says DeMarre Carroll is 'fine'
Updating a previous report, Hawks' head coach Mike Budenholzer said that DeMarre Carroll is "fine," after sitting out Thursday's practice.

Advice: Budenholzer said that Carroll is "just getting a little work on his body," and it doesn't appear he's in jeopardy of missing Friday's game against Portland. Carroll has been up-and-down for much of the season, but he'll draw a favorable matchup against the Blazers on Friday, so owners can feel confident plugging him into their lineups. Rotoworld.com

    • Gordon Hayward (sinus) probable for Friday
Gordon Hawyard (sinus congestion) did not practice on Thursday, but he is expected to play Friday vs. the Warriors.

Advice: Sinus congestion seems about as minor of an ailment as they come, so owners should not be fretting about him missing any game-time action. He will however have a tough matchup against Golden State on Friday, so that is something to consider for people playing daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Kupchak says Kobe will be ready for camp
Lakers' GM Mitch Kupchak said that Kobe Bryant will be ready for training camp next season.

Advice: "We spoke last night, he's in great spirits," said Kupchak of Bryant. "He's excited about the prognosis and being ready for training camp. The big key is we have to improve the talent level on the team." This is an interesting statement, because Kobe's initial timetable of nine months would have him out until November of next year. Kupchak also said that retirement was not discussed when talking with Kobe, and we'll continue to track The Black Mambas' status closely on his road to recovery. Rotoworld.com

DeMarre Carroll did not practice on Thursday.

Advice: Carroll elected to get treatment on Thursday rather than practice, but it's not clear at this point exactly what his ailment is. We'll be providing updates as they become available, but we'd consider Carroll probable for Friday's game against the Trail Blazers. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Durant misses Thursday practice
Kevin Durant (toe) missed practice on Thursday.

Advice: This doesn't sound great for Durant's availability on Saturday after missing the Thunder's last two games with a sprained toe. We'll update Durant's status after Friday's practice, but Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka stand to gain the most fantasy value if Durant is unable to suit up against the Grizzlies. Rotoworld.com

    • Ersan Ilyasova out Thursday vs Magic
Ersan Ilyasova (groin) will miss Thursday's game against the Magic.

Advice: The Bucks may go into Thursday's game short-handed as Zaza Pachulia (calf) is questionable. Jared Dudley and Johnny O'Bryant are the biggest fantasy beneficiaries of Ilyasova's absence, while John Henson could join them as he's due to start if Pachulia can't suit up. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyle Singler no longer Man Behind The Mask
Kyle Singler (nose) said will no longer wear a protective mask for the broken nose he suffered on January 21.

Advice: Singler was held scoreless for the second time in 143 NBA starts on Wednesday and will look to get back on track against the Rockets on Saturday. The 26-year-old is averaging just 6.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.4 three-pointers over his last five games and doesn't provide much fantasy value outside deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • LeBron James shines spotlight on Kyrie
LeBron James (wrist) declined comment to reporters after Wednesday's win in order to let Kyrie Irving have the spotlight following his 55-point game.

Advice: "I'm going to kindly decline to talk to you guys," James said after the game. "This is his night." James sat out Wednesday's game due to a sore wrist, so we'll have to await word on the extent of his injury. He'll have some time to recuperate since the Cavs don't play until Friday, but J.R. Smith would be the biggest fantasy beneficiary (outside of Kyrie Irving) if James sits again. Rotoworld.com

Gordon Hayward hit just 4-of-13 shots and was 0-for-5 from downtown for 11 points, four rebounds, five assists and two blocks in Wednesday's tough loss to the Clippers.

Advice: Had he brought his A Game tonight, the Jazz probably would have won. Hayward is having a great season and tonight was just 'one of those nights.' He'll bounce back in the next one. Rotoworld.com

    • Lance Stephenson doesn't score in 20 minutes
Lance Stephenson failed to score on his five attempts from the field against the Spurs on Wednesday with four rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and four turnovers.

Advice: Born Ready needs a resurrection. He's made just 34.5 percent from the field since his return to the lineup, averaging just 7.0 points, 4.9 assists, 3.3 boards, 2.6 turnovers and 0.0 treys. What's more, Stephenson is made just 15.2 percent from beyond three feet in that span. There is upside, but it's too hard to start him right now. Rotoworld.com

    • Danny Green has another massive line
Danny Green filled the stat sheet against the Hornets during a 95-86 win on Wednesday, scoring 16 points with five rebounds, two assists, two steals, three blocks and four 3-pointers.

Advice: He was coming in off two horrible games, averaging just 5.0 points, 2.0 boards, 2.5 dimes and 1.0 triples on 20.0 percent from the field. Green has been an early-round guy on the season and it would appear his floor is a mid-round guy. His owners have nothing to worry about, but they knew that just by reading his stat line tonight. • Kawhi Leonard sits in the fourth
Kawhi Leonard played just 23 minutes against the Hornets on Wednesday with nine points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one turnover.

Advice: Coach Gregg Popovich said he wanted to roll with Cory Joseph down the stretch and kept Leonard on the bench because of it. Kawhi was filling it up before tonight in his games since returning from injury, averaging 16.5 points, 10.0 boards, 2.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 1.3 triples in 31.3 minutes per game. If you can try to buy low from one game, go for it. Kawhi is a stud. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Martin scores 21 points in return
Kevin Martin returned from a wrist injury on Wednesday against the Celtics, scoring 21 points with four rebounds, one assist and two 3-pointers in 29 minutes.

Advice: He was better than expected and really turned it on after a slow start tonight. Martin was on fire before his injury with a 37-point game in his last outing and a 34-point one before that, so he should be owned in all leagues following this game. Although, his fantasy owners should consider selling high once he solidifies his value. Rotoworld.com

    • Josh Smith does it all without Dwight Howard
Josh Smith racked up 18 points, six rebounds, two assists, a steal, three blocks and four 3-pointers on 7-of-13 shooting in Wednesday's win over the Mavs.

Advice: As an added bonus, he didn't attempt any free throws, which means he didn't hurt you there. Normally, we'd say it's time to hit the phones and deal Smith before he comes down to earth, but with Dwight Howard no iffy going forward with edema in his right knee (fluid buildup), Smith could be ready to go on a nice run. Just don't expect him to be this good on most nights. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 9:29 pm
    • Terrence Jones goes for 10 & 5 in return
Terrence Jones finally returned from his leg injury on Wednesday and had 10 points, five rebounds and two blocks in 21 minutes.

Advice: He hit 4-of-8 shots and a 3-pointer, and while we've not been high on him, the news of Dwight Howard's edema in his right knee changes things. Jones could see some serious run if Howard is going to miss time, so we now like the idea of taking a flier on him. He could be forced into heavy action for an extended period of time if Howard is going to be shelved. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 9:26 pm
    • Donatas Motiejunas scores 16 w/o Dwight
Donatas Motiejunas started and had 16 points, five rebounds, a steals and two 3-pointers on 6-of-16 shooting in Wednesday's win over Dallas.

Advice: Dwight Howard has edema in his right knee (fluid buildup) and could miss time, meaning that D-Mo, Josh Smith and Terrence Jones (he's back) should all be owned until we find out more details about Howard's return date. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 9:24 pm
    • Danilo Gallinari scores 11 in 20 minutes
Danilo Gallinari scored 11 points in 20 minutes against the Pelicans on Wednesday with two rebounds, two assists, one block and three 3-pointers.

Advice: He is coming around and this is the most minutes he's played since returning from his knee injury last week. Gallinari's minutes are unlikely to hit the 25-minute mark in the near future and he's a very risky player to own, so fantasy owners don't need to be too aggressive in grabbing him. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 8:44 pm
    • J.R. Smith quiet in win over Blazers
J.R. Smith hit just 5-of-12 shots and 1-of-6 3-pointers for 11 points, four assists and a steal in Wednesday's win.

Advice: The key is that he played 38 minutes and if that trend continues, it's just a matter of time before he puts up a monster line. And it's especially likely to happen if LeBron James keeps missing games with a wrist injury. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 7:38 pm
    • Nicolas Batum plays through wrist injury
Nicolas Batum played through his wrist injury on Wednesday and had seven points, four rebounds, seven assists, two steals, a block and a 3-pointer on 3-of-8 shooting.

Advice: The line wasn't spectacular, but he was effective, and his owners should just be thankful that his injury doesn't appear to be serious enough to keep him out long term. He missed the last two Blazers games before returning tonight. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 7:28 pm
    • LeBron James out Wednesday, doubtful Friday
LeBron James (wrist) is considered doubtful to play against the Kings on Friday.

Advice: It's weird day to see LeBron James and Kevin Durant out on he same night. James has been extremely durable before this season, but he's had knee and back issues before this injury. The Cavs are on a back-to-back this weekend, so James should be considered questionable for Saturday in Minnesota. Expect to see more of J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert, Mike Miller and Shawn Marion with Smith as the only reliable option. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 3:50 pm
    • Kevin Martin (wrist) to come off the bench
Kevin Martin (wrist) will come off the bench on Wednesday against the Celtics.

Advice: It will be his first game back since November and he might see some limited playing time. Martin will likely bump Andrew Wiggins over to small forward, which may cut minutes Thaddeus Young,, Gorgui Dieng and Nikola Pekovic. Martin should be owned in all leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 3:45 pm
    • LeBron James (wrist) ruled out Wednesday
LeBron James (wrist) will not play vs. the Trail Blazers on Wednesday.

Advice: He took a hard fall during Tuesday's game and was a game-time decision vs. Portland, but ultimately wasn't able to suit up. His absence means more shots for Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, and more playing time for J.R. Smith, Iman Shumpert, Mike Miller and Shawn Marion. Consider LeBron questionable to return Friday vs. the Kings. Rotoworld.com

    • Kobe Bryant out nine months after surgery
Kobe Bryant had surgery to repair his right rotator cuff on Wednesday, and he's expected to miss nine months.

Advice: This is a longer-than-expected timetable which would keep him out until roughly next November, so it's very unlikely he'll be in uniform for the start of the 2015-16 season. The Black Mamba's unfortunate injury will open up more playing time for Jordan Clarkson, Jeremy Lin, Nick Young and especially Wayne Ellington, the last of whom is a very nice pickup as the Lakers' starting SG. • Terrence Jones (leg) finally returns vs. Mavs
Terrence Jones (leg) will be active and available for the Rockets on Wednesday, though he'll be limited to 15-20 minutes.

Advice: Houston will ease Jones into the mix after his lengthy rehab from a nerve issue which has kept him on the sidelines since Nov. 3. He may even start on Wednesday with Dwight Howard (ankle, knee) very unlikely to play. Josh Smith and Donatas Motiejunas complicate Jones' role when Houston is at full strength, but he has enough upside to be worth a stash if he's still floating on the waiver wire. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 3:18 pm
    • Nicolas Batum (wrist) starting Wed. vs. Cavs
Nicolas Batum (wrist) will start vs. the Cavaliers on Wednesday.

Advice: Batum has a torn ligament on the outside of his wrist but he said recently that he's nearly pain-free, and it sounds like he'll join LaMarcus Aldridge in the play-through-it camp. Batum's scoring has vanished in recent weeks, due in large part to the injury, but he's still returning steady value thanks to across-the-board contributions. Rotoworld.com

    • Report: LeBron James is closer to doubtful
LeBron James (wrist) appears to be closer to doubtful to play against the Blazers on Wednesday.

Advice: There are multiple reports from the Blazers side of things that LeBron is unlikely, so we'll be looking for something from the Cavs soon. Again, nothing is official yet, but fantasy owners can plan on LeBron sitting this one out. J.R. Smith benefits the most while we should get more Mike Miller and Matthew Dellavedova. Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving will also have more chances to score. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 3:10 pm
    • Nicolas Batum (wrist) is a game-time call
Nicolas Batum (wrist) is a game-time decision to face the Cavs on Wednesday.

Advice: Both starting small forwards are game-time decisions with LeBron James also dealing with a wrist issue. Batum was questionable to play on Monday in what turned out to be a postponed game, so maybe he can play. If not, there are going to be too many guys to step up in his place. It's best to avoid this situation from a pickup standpoint. Rotoworld.com

    • LeBron James may be game-time w/ sore wrist
LeBron James (sore wrist) is a game-time decision on Wednesday due to a hard fall he took during Tuesday's game.

Advice: He continued playing after the injury on Tuesday and we're guessing he suits up vs. the visiting Trail Blazers, but coach David Blatt said the Cavaliers are "gauging [the injury] right up until game time." If he's forced to sit out, his minutes will be absorbed by a platoon including Mike Miller, Shawn Marion, Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 2:32 pm
    • Kevin Martin (questionable) expects to play
Kevin Martin (wrist) is expected to make his return to the lineup against the Celtics on Wednesday.

Advice: He's not a complete lock because the team will want to see how he performs in pre-game workouts, and he's technically questionable to play. Most signs do point to him playing despite an earlier report today. Martin has been doing a lot of non-contact work and missed some practice over the weekend. He's someone worth grabbing in standard leagues. Meanwhile, it should be interesting to see what happens with the other starters. Andrew Wiggins may slide to the small forward spot, which would bump Gorgui Dieng or Thaddeus Young from the starting unit. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 11:17 am
    • Kevin Durant (toe) out against the Knicks
Kevin Durant (toe) will not play against the Knicks on Wednesday.

Advice: It will be his second straight game on the sidelines, and though the injury isn't serious, this has to be frustrating for his owners. Durant is still listed as day-to-day, so we will update his status as soon as more details become available. Perry Jones will likely draw another start, but he is too unreliable to use in most leagues. Instead, expect Russell Westbrook and Serge Ibaka to carry the load for the Thunder tonight, and be sure to give them a long look in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Terrence Jones participates in shootaround
Terrence Jones participated in shootaround, and he will likely be a game-time decision for Wednesday's game vs. the Mavericks.

Advice: Rockets coach Kevin McHale is a huge fan of Jones' game, but after missing nearly three months of action he will likely be eased into action upon his return. Jones is more than worth a flier in deeper leagues, but it will be interesting to see how coach McHale tweaks his crowded frontcourt rotation that includes Donatas Motiejunas, Josh Smith and Dwight Howard (ankle). • Marvin Williams (concussion) questionable Wed
Marvin Williams (concussion/ broken nose) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Spurs.

Advice: It's still unknown if he has passed the NBA's concussion protocol, but we still don't think Williams ends up playing in this one. If he does end up missing any time, Coach Steve Clifford hinted that rookie Noah Vonleh would get some run, but only owners in deeper leagues should concern themselves over this situation. • Marco Belinelli (groin) will not play on Wed
Marco Belinelli (groin) remains out for Wednesday's game vs. Charlotte.

Advice: This will be his tenth straight game on the sidelines, and it's clear that the Spurs likely won't bring him back until he is 100 percent. Belinelli should be dropped in most leagues, while players like Patty Mills, Manu Ginobili and Cory Joseph will pick up extra minutes in the short-term. Rotoworld.com

    • Danny Green currently battling fatigue
Danny Green is in the midst of a major shooting slump, but a lot of that has to do with the fact that he has seen an increased workload this season.

Advice: "Some days the energy is there," said Green. "Some days, you’re fighting to find it." He is averaging a career-high 30.1 minutes per game, and currently leads the Spurs in minutes played so far this season. Over his last four games, he has made just 8-of-33 shots, including 6-of-21 from 3-point range. He should be able to turn things around soon, but knowing coach Gregg Popovich it's very possible that Green misses a game or two down the stretch in order to keep him fresh for playoffs. • J.R. Smith scores just 5 points vs. Pistons
J.R. Smith scored just five points on 2-of-11 shooting on Tuesday vs. Detroit, adding one board, one assist, one steal and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes.

Advice: He is coming off four straight games of scoring 14 or more points, so his owners should give him a pass. The good news is that Smith looks like he will remain in the starting lineup, so as he long as sees more than 30 minutes a night he will be worth owning in most leagues. Just be sure to expect a couple of bumps along the way. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Durant (toe) is questionable for Wed
Kevin Durant (toe) remains day-to-day, but his status for Wednesday's game against the Knicks is still up in the air.

Advice: The injury was never thought to be serious, but the Thunder have every right to be cautious with their franchise player after he missed the beginning of the season with a fracture in his foot. We should know more about his status after shootaround Wednesday morning, so owners will have to check back then for updates. If Durant can't go Perry Jones will likely draw another start, but he isn't a reliable option in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Jared Dudley starts 2nd half w/ Ilyasova out
Jared Dudley started the second half of Tuesday's game with Ersan Ilyasova (groin) unavailable, notching 11 points, one 3-pointer, two boards and three assists in 23 minutes.

Advice: Dudley has been a sneaky value this season despite playing just 25 minutes, with his stats buoyed by solid percentages, 1.0 triples, 4.0 rebounds and 1.1 steals per game. He's worth owning, especially since Ilyasova is likely to miss more games with his groin injury. Rotoworld.com
      Tuesday, 7:09 pm
    • Ersan Ilyasova leaves Tuesday w/ groin injury
Ersan Ilyasova will not return to Tuesday's game due to a sore right groin.

Advice: Anyone surprised by this news hasn't been paying attention to Ilyasova's injury history, as he's missed an average of 16.0 games over the past four seasons. We're considering him questionable to play vs. the Magic on Thursday but a few DNPs should be anticipated by owners, as groin injuries are notoriously slow to heal. Johnny O'Bryant may return to the starting lineup for any games Ilyasova sits out, though Jared Dudley took his place during the second half on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com

    • Nicolas Batum says his wrist mostly pain-free
Nicolas Batum did some shooting during Tuesday's practice, and said that his wrist has improved to the point that he's mostly pain-free.

Advice: Batum remains questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Cavs, but it appears that he is going to try and give it a go. Owners will need to check back closer to Wednesday's tip-off for an official update, but if he's ruled out, look for Wesley Matthews, Damian Lillard, and LaMarcus Aldridge to pick up the slack. • Kevin Martin (wrist) will not play Wednesday
Updating a previous report, Kevin Martin (wrist) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game vs. the Celtics.

Advice: Martin was able to resume shooting workouts on Monday after having fluid drained from his surgically-repaired wrist last week, but he will remain sidelined for Wednesday's game. He's likely going to be eased back into the rotation upon his return, so owners will need to remain patient. However, he still offers enough upside to be worth holding onto in most leagues. • Terrence Jones could play vs Mavs on Weds
Rockets head coach Kevin McHale said there's a chance that Terrence Jones (leg) could play against the Mavericks on Wednesday.

Advice: Jones was able to go through a full practice on Tuesday and it's looking like there's a chance the Jones will make his season debut on Wednesday against the Mavericks. He'll be battling for minutes with Donatas Motiejunas and Josh Smith upon his return, so his fantasy value is limited to deeper leagues at this point. Rotoworld.com

Kobe Bryant (shoulder) considered signing with the Washington Wizards, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Advice: Earlier in his career, Bryant said he considering joining the Wizards because he wanted to play for Michael Jordan (who was a part owner at the time). "I’ve always been very big on having mentors, on having muses and I’ve been really, really big on that," Bryant said. Terrence Jones (leg) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks.

Advice: This comes as good news as this is the first change to Jones' status in months. • Kevin Martin hopes to play vs BOS on Weds
Kevin Martin returned to shooting workouts on Monday and is hopeful that he'll be able to play against the Celtics on Wednesday.

Advice: This is the first time that Martin has been able to shoot since he had fluid drained from his surgicallyrepaired wrist nearly a week ago. "It feels better now than it did when I started practicing two weeks ago," said Martin, out since November. "Getting it drained helps a lot. I’ll give it one more hard day of practice and see how I feel." We'll update Martin's status after Wednesday's shootaround, but his eventual return will cut into the production of Mo Williams, Thaddeus Young, and Andrew Wiggins. Rotoworld.com

    • J.R. Smith thriving with no nightlife in CLE
J.R. Smith told David Aldridge of NBA.com that the lack of nightlife in Cleveland has helped him focus.

Advice: Smith told Aldridge that the he's been able to focus on basketball in Cleveland since there aren't as many distractions as New York City. "I think this is the best situation for me, 'cause there's nothing but basketball," Smith said. "There's nothing you expect but basketball. There's nothing, there's no going out, there's no late nights." Smith is averaging 15.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 1.4 steals, and 3.8 treys in his last 10 games and deserves to be owned in all standard fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Hayward goes off in loss to the Celtics
Gordon Hayward scored 26 points on 7-of-17 shooting (including four threes) with six rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks in Monday's home loss to the Celtics.

Advice: Hayward hit 8-of-12 free throws and pushes his value up to top 25-40 levels after this voluminous effort. Rotoworld.com

    • Wiggins scores 23 points in loss to Thunder
Andrew Wiggins scored 23 points on 7-of-14 shooting (9-of-12 FTs) with four rebounds, two assists, two steals and one block in Monday's loss to the Thunder.

Advice: Wiggins did not hit a three but he did just about everything else on the court tonight. He'll be looking at a potential lull when Ricky Rubio and Kevin Martin return, and owners will want to target him in buy low deals at that time. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 8:21 pm
    • Kevin Durant (toe) out for Monday night
Kevin Durant (toe) will not play against the Wolves on Monday.

Advice: He suffered the injury in Cleveland on Sunday and it's being called a left great toe sprain. Durant went through warmups, but there was too much soreness and he decided he'll sit. It's anyone's guess if he'll play on Wednesday and the Thunder do only have three games this week. It'll be Russell Westbrook running the show with a host of others stepping up. Expect Dion Waiters and Anthony Morrow to benefit the most. Perry Jones may start, though. It's worth mentioning KD needed surgery on his right foot. Rotoworld.com

    • Kobe Bryant will have surgery on shoulder
Kobe Bryant will have surgery on his right rotator cuff and is out indefinitely.

Advice: The Lakers will not announce a specific timetable yet, but he is out for the season. Bryant will have the surgery on Wednesday morning and the Lakers will provide more information on a prognosis following the procedure. His fantasy owners can drop him in all re-draft leagues. The Lakers will use more of Jordan Clarkson and Wayne Ellington in their starting lineup while coach Byron Scott is going to mix and match his way with his starters all year. Wes Johnson, Ryan Kelly and Nick Young also benefit. Rotoworld.com

Marvin Williams, who is already dealing with a concussion, has also been diagnosed with a broken nose.

Advice: Williams will not be able to return until he's able to pass the NBA's concussion protocol, and there is nothing to suggest a return is imminent. Already down Bismack Biyombo (knee), Cody Zeller, who has logged 30-plus minutes in two of his last three games, appears poised to see an even larger role. Rotoworld.com

    • Kobe Bryant (shoulder) to meet w/ doctor Mon
Kobe Bryant (shoulder) has an appointment with a specialist on Monday, after which he'll decide whether to have surgery or pursue a different treatment option.

Advice: ESPN's Ramona Shelburne reiterates that so far "everyone has recommended surgery." It's safe to assume that Kobe is done for the season but he's performing his due diligence to explore every rehab possibility, and he and the Lakers should make an official announcement early this week. Assuming he does have rotator cuff surgery, he'd be looking at approximately six months of recovery. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden still on fire, scores 37 points
James Harden ran roughshod over the Lakers' defense in Sunday's road win, scoring 37 points (12-of-20 FGs, 9-of-10 FTs) with four 3-pointers, eight boards, five assists, two steals and six turnovers.

Advice: Harden is averaging 37.0 points over Houston's past four games and continues to lead the NBA in scoring at 27.3 points per game, well ahead of LeBron James (26.0), Kevin Durant (25.3), Anthony Davis (24.2), DeMarcus Cousins (24.2) and Carmelo Anthony (24.1). Just get comfortable and enjoy the fireworks. Rotoworld.com

    • Josh Smith solid in 25 minutes vs LAK defense
Josh Smith chipped in across the board in an easy win vs. the Lakers, scoring 11 points with one 3-pointer, five rebounds, one assist, two steals, two blocks and one turnover in 25 minutes vs. L.A.

Advice: Smith has been nowhere near standard-league value since coming to Houston, especially when you factor in his ridiculous 36.7 percent FT shooting over the past month. Terrence Jones' eventual return is another threat to Smith, so don't let the occasional efficient performance lull you into wasting a roster spot on him. Rotoworld.com

    • Draymond Green scores 14 pts with nine boards
Draymond Green scored 14 points with nine boards against the Celtics on Sunday, adding two assists, three steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes.

Advice: He has easily been one of the most improved players in the NBA this season, and it's obvious that coach Steve Kerr admires his playing style. Green is in line for some serious money this summer, and there is no reason to think that he will slow down anytime soon. Green should be a top-30 asset the rest of the way. Rotoworld.com

    • Danilo Gallinari logs 15 minutes in defeat
Danilo Gallinari had seven points in 15 minutes off the bench vs. Washington, while chipping in one 3-pointer, one rebound and two assists.

Advice: It's nice to see Gallo healthy and productive, but he has a long way to go before regaining the trust of fantasy owners. Leave him on the waiver wire. Rotoworld.com

    • Danny Green's slump continues on Sunday
Danny Green couldn't break out of his cold spell against the Bucks on Sunday, scoring just three points on 1-of-9 shooting while adding two boards, three assists, three steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes.

Advice: He has now failed to score in double digits for the fourth game in a row, and it's obvious that he is losing confidence quickly. Green was in the midst of an incredible season prior to this slump, so his owners should hold onto him in the hope that he turns it around soon. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyle Singler shoots just 1-of-3 vs. Toronto
Kyle Singler took only three shots in 26 minutes on Sunday, making one of them to finish a loss to the Raptors with four points, two rebounds and two assists.

Advice: Singler hasn't been worth owning in 14-team leagues this season and he'll now have an adjustment period with D.J. Augustin taking the reins of Detroit's offense. There's not enough upside here to bother with him outside of deep leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Jan 25, 7:21 pm
    • Kawhi Leonard tweaks ankle in win vs. Bucks
Kawhi Leonard briefly left Sunday's game against the Bucks with a tweaked ankle, but returned shortly after to the tune of 19 points, 14 boards, two assists, three steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.

Advice: He was in the locker room for just a few minutes and didn't appear to be limited at all by his ankle. It's possible that he deals with some swelling in the coming days, but the Spurs are off until Wednesday so he should have plenty of time to recover. This is the kind of stat line that Leonard can put up on any given night, so it looks like he will continue to reward his patient owners for the rest of the way. Rotoworld.com

    • Gerald Green quiet in 20 minutes Sunday
Gerald Green played 20 minutes vs. the Clippers on Sunday, shooting 2-of-9 from the field (2-of-6 from deep) to finish with six points, two assists and one block.

Advice: He was rolling along in his last four games, averaging 14.8 points and 2.5 triples, but the bottom can fall out unexpected for Green thanks to Phoenix's stacked backcourt rotation. He's been a liability in 12-team leagues over the past month, so think twice before deploying him in the Suns' upcoming three-game week. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Durant's 32 points not enough for OKC
Kevin Durant led the Thunder on Sunday with 32 points on 12-of-23 shooting, as well as six rebounds, nine assists and two blocks, but it wasn't enough to hold off the Cavaliers.

Advice: Durant chipped in one 3-pointer and had only one turnover in 40 minutes, in the latest showcase for his elite fantasy talents. Oklahoma City's defeat dropped their record to .500 again, and they remain 3 1/2 games behind Phoenix for the final playoff spot out West. Rotoworld.com

    • Terrence Jones could return 'within a week'
When head coach Kevin McHale was asked about Terrence Jones' availability for Wednesday's game vs. Dallas, he did not rule Jones out and said that he will return "sooner rather than later."

Advice: McHale added that Jones could return "within a week," and it appears he is getting very close to playing basketball again. However, he will be fighting for minutes with Donatas Motiejunas and Josh Smith, so it will be very difficult for him to produce the same way he was at the beginning of the season. Still, he's worth a look in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com

Marco Belinelli (groin) will not play against the Bucks on Sunday.

Advice: This is his ninth straight game on the sidelines and there is still no indication on when he will return to action. Belinelli can be dropped in almost all leagues for now, while Manu Ginobili, Patty Mills and Cory Joseph will all benefit in the short-term. Rotoworld.com

    • Lance Stephenson ignoring trade rumors
Lance Stephenson has seen his name pop up in trade rumors all season, but he is doing his best to ignore them in an effort to help Charlotte secure a spot in the playoffs.

Advice: "You can't help but hear stuff," said Stephenson. "I just want to stay focused and stay positive and try to help this team. I'm here, and that's all that matters right now." Stephenson played almost 29 minutes on Saturday which is the most he had played since going down with a pelvis injury, so it looks like he is getting close to 100 percent. While the rumors won't stop until all the way up to the trade deadline, a trade wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing considering how much he has struggled to adapt in Charlotte. Rotoworld.com

    • Ghostface Ilya gets a little better
Ersan Ilyasova played 17 minutes against the Pistons on Saturday with nine points, six rebounds, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He did not play in the fourth quarter because the Bucks were up 24 points to start the period. Ilyasova was probably headed towards 24 minutes tonight, and he also has one block and one 3-pointer in each of his last three games. Any improvement is a good start, so Ilyasova is worth a look in standard leagues. Although, his owners will need to be patient. Rotoworld.com

Marvin Williams has been diagnosed with a concussion.

Advice: It's been a bloodbath with the injuries today and Williams is going to have to go through the concussion protocol. The good news for the Hornets is that they're off until Wednesday, so Williams may not miss any time. Although, he was awfully groggy on Saturday. Cody Zeller will play a few more minutes. • Lance Stephenson battles groin injury
Lance Stephenson played 29 minutes off the bench against the Knicks on Saturday with six points, three rebounds, four assists and two steals.

Advice: He was laboring through his groin strain throughout the first half and finally got into a rhythm in the second half. Stephenson ran the offense tonight with Kemba Walker (knee) out and it resembled his style of play in Indiana. Walker won't be out long, so Stephenson's adjustment period should continue. He's a fringe player to own in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Marvin Williams evaluated for a concussion
Marvin Williams is being a evaluated for a concussion due to an injury in the first half against the Knicks on Saturday.

Advice: He was walking back very slow and he will likely have to go through the concussion protocol. With Williams out, the Hornets are going to have to get creative for their forward spots. Cody Zeller will play more while Michael Kidd-Gilchrist may play some four. Noah Vonleh and Jason Maxiell may get in the rotation if there are other injuries to Bismack Biyombo and Lance Stephenson. Marvin Williams went to the locker room with an apparent leg injury on Saturday.

Advice: It did not look good and he headed back to the locker room with a limp. Williams was walking slowly and there's a chance he's done for the night, especially considering how many leg injuries he's had in his career. Cody Zeller will get more run while Jason Maxiel and Noah Vonleh could help out. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyle Singler will play with a mask
Kyle Singler will play with a mask against the Bucks on Saturday.

Advice: He had a procedure on Friday and should be ready to go. Singler broke his nose and it shouldn't affect his playing time. He's a low-ceiling option in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Danilo Gallinari returns to action on Friday
Danilo Gallinari (knee) returned to action on Friday, logging 17 minutes with four points on 1-of-7 shooting and that's it.

Advice: Gallo might benefit from a trade sending Wilson Chandler out of Denver but there is way too much uncertainty about his ability to produce to stash him in most standard formats. Rotoworld.com

    • Kawhi goes for 15 and 14 vs. the Lakers
Kawhi Leonard scored 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting (including a three) with 14 rebounds, three assists and two steals in the Spurs' 99-85 win over the Lakers on Friday.

Advice: So far so good with regard to Leonard's hand and obviously if he's on the floor the production is going to be there. He's returning top 20-25 value on a per-game basis so far. Rotoworld.com

Andrew Wiggins scored 13 points on 6-of-16 shooting (no threes) with two rebounds, one assist and one block over 38 minutes in the Wolves' 92-84 loss to the Pelicans on Friday.

Advice: Wiggins could be staring at a rough month with Ricky Rubio and Kevin Martin returning, and then after that Shabazz Muhammad at some point. As that happens, integrating all of these players could easily gum things up for all of them. Still, the Wolves are going to slowly force him into a No. 1 role regardless of who is playing with him, and attrition will also be his ally in the second half of the year. It will be one massive buy low window and owners will want to take full advantage of it. Rotoworld.com

    • Overshadowed: James Harden hits game-winner
James Harden hit a game-winning buzzer-beater against the Suns during Friday's 113-111 victory, finishing with 33 points, six rebounds, 10 assists, three steals, one block and three 3-pointers.

Advice: Just when you thought Harden was going to be the story of the night for a sick crossover to break P.J. Tucker's ankles before he buried a mid-range jumper, Klay Thompson happened. Anyway, Harden is still ridiculous on non-Klay terms over his last three, averaging 37.0 points, 3.7 boards, 7.7 assists, 3.0 steals and 4.3 treys on 51.9 percent from the field. Sadly, Harden won't get to play against Klay again this regular season. That's none of Klay's business, though. Rotoworld.com

    • Donatas Motiejunas scores 15 points
Donatas Motiejunas scored 15 points with six rebounds, one steal and one turnover in 23 minutes against the Suns on Friday.

Advice: He shifted to the center spot with Dwight Howard (ankle) out and that'll continue. If Howard misses time, that should help D-Mo's numbers overall. He is worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Jan 23, 10:34 pm
    • J.R. Smith scores 21 points with seven treys
J.R. Smith made seven 3-pointers for his 21 points against the Hornets on Friday with four rebounds and four assists.

Advice: The treys were nice, but this was Smith's fifth game of 2015 with at least four dimes. He's really playing extremely well with his new team and he's taking eight treys per game. He'll cool off at some point, but owners in standard leagues can ride him while he's going strong. Rotoworld.com
      Jan 23, 8:08 pm
    • Lance Stephenson hands out nine dimes
Lance Stephenson handed out nine assists against the Cavs on Friday with 10 points, and four boards in 26 minutes.

Advice: He didn't play as poorly as some of his teammates, but Stephenson is still out of sync with his new team. He's not a must-own player and it might be a few more weeks until he is start-worthy in standard leagues. Stephenson also didn't blow into LeBron James' ear tonight. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden and Dwight Howard starting
James Harden (knee) and Dwight Howard (knee) will start against the Suns on Friday.

The Lakers confirmed on Friday that Kobe Bryant has been diagnosed with a torn right rotator cuff.

Advice: The team will take the weekend to decide if the Hall of Fame guard will require surgery. Unfortunately, there are multiple reports that Bryant is expected to miss the rest of the season. Bryant seems to be in good spirits and even tweeted, "This is what happens when I pass too much!" Wayne Ellington will get to start and Jordan Clarkson gets in the rotation while the usage rates of Nick Young, Jeremy Lin and Wes Johnson will rise. Rotoworld.com

    • Report: Lakers expecting Kobe to miss season
The Lakers are expecting Kobe Bryant (shoulder) to miss the rest of the season due to a torn rotator cuff, according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.com.

Advice: The announcement will likely come at some point today to make it official, but the Lakers may take the weekend to decide on his treatment. Bryant hasn't been able to complete the last three seasons of his career due to an Achilles injury in 2012-13, a knee injury in 2013-14, and now this shoulder issue this season. He is still going to be under contract for next year and chances are he'll be back. For now, the Lakers will likely add another wing on a 10-day deal while Wayne Ellington starts. Expect Nick Young, Wes Johnson and Jordan Clarkson to play more. Unfortunately, Kobe can be dropped in all redraft leagues once the official word comes. Rotoworld.com

Marco Belinelli (groin) will miss his eighth consecutive game vs. the Lakers on Friday.

Advice: San Antonio is playing it safe with Belinelli, who has now missed 16 of the Spurs' first 44 games. His absence has opened up more playing time for Manu Ginobili, primarily, but Gregg Popovich's rotations are too unpredictable to rely on fellow reserve guards Cory Joseph and Patty Mills. Kyle Singler (nasal fracture) is questionable for Saturday's game in Milwaukee

Advice: Singler was injured on Wednesday, when he scored 14 points in 22 minutes vs. the Magic. He continues to hold down a starting job but hasn't done much to help fantasy owners, averaging 7.4 points on 42.0 percent shooting, so there's no incentive to gamble on him while his status is in doubt. • James Harden probable Friday w/ bruised knee
James Harden (left knee contusion) is listed as probable for Friday's game in Phoenix.

Advice: He scored 33 points in 32 minutes during Wednesday's loss to Golden State and we're guessing he'll be fine, but owners should stay tuned for pre-game updates. Harden hasn't missed a game all season and should have extra motivation after recently being snubbed as a starter for the All-Star game. Rotoworld.com

Gordon Hayward carried the Jazz down the stretch during a 101-99 win on Thursday in Milwaukee with 24 points, six rebounds, six assists, two steals, two 3-pointers and six turnovers in 35 minutes.

Advice: His numbers have been trending down on the season, so this big game was nice to see. In fact, Hayward's points and rebounds have decreased in each of the last three months of the season. The Jazz will get to host the struggling Nets on Saturday, so expect Hayward to have success again. Rotoworld.com

    • Jared Dudley turns it around vs. Jazz
Jared Dudley scored 16 points with four rebounds, one steal and three 3-pointers in 25 minutes against the Jazz on Thursday.

Advice: He had a grand total of just two points combined in his last two games. Dudley has really cooled off since a somewhat hot start and he'll continue to be an inconsistent player. He'll likely be a top 120-150 guy the rest of the way. Rotoworld.com

    • Ersan Ilyasova plays 17 minutes in start
Ersan Ilyasova played just 17 minutes in his return to the starting lineup on Thursday with seven points, one rebound, one assist, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer against the Jazz.

Advice: It was an awful matchup for him against Enes Kanter and Rudy Gobert. Ilyasova was not involved in the halfcourt offense and had a couple of his buckets come in transition. He should be better than this and the upside is there, but he probably has a better chance to disappoint than to be a helpful pickup. To be clear, we don't hate the idea of adding Ghostface Ilya. The Lakers organization fears that Kobe Bryant (torn rotator cuff in right shoulder) will need season-ending surgery, according to Ramona Shelburne of ESPN.com.

Advice: The team will evaluate him on Friday and will likely make an announcement at some point. Kawhi Leonard scored a team-high 16 points against the Bulls on Thursday with four rebounds and one 3-pointer in 27 minutes.

Advice: He scored the Spurs' final 11 points of the first half, but was fairly quiet the rest of the game. Leonard has added a handful of new offensive moves and coach Gregg Popovich has held up his end of the bargain that he will run plays for the reigning Finals MVP. Leonard gets the Lakers at home on Friday night and could have a big game. Rotoworld.com

    • Ersan Ilyasova to start over Johnny O'Bryant
Ersan Ilyasova will draw the start on Thursday against the Jazz, replacing Johnny O'Bryant.

Advice: The move makes a lot of sense considering that O'Bryant hasn't made an impact at all this season for the Bucks. Ilyasova does have some upside, and an uptick in minutes means he shouldn't be floating around many waiver wires with this news. Rotoworld.com

Marco Belinelli (groin) will not play against the Bulls on Thursday.

Advice: He has been sidelined since Jan. 9, and considering this is the second time that he has seen extensive time on the sidelines due to his groin, the Spurs likely won't bring him back until he is 100 percent. • Corey Brewer racks up 20 in garbage time
Corey Brewer hit 6-of-13 shots and two 3-pointers for 20 points, six rebounds, three assists and a steal in Wednesday's loss to the Warriors.

Advice: This was a garbage-time special and he was helped by Josh Smith's early ejection. Make no mistake, Brewer was a big part of a somewhat impressive comeback waged by the Rockets, but they were never in the game and it truly was a meaningless stat line. Don't take the bait and think this will become a regular occurrence. Rotoworld.com

    • Josh Smith ejected in Wednesday's loss
Josh Smith lasted just 14 minutes and finished with five points before being ejected with two technical fouls in Wednesday's ugly loss to the Warriors.

Advice: Smith thought he got fouled when he banged knees with a Warrior, and later tore into the referees. It kind of looked like he wanted to go home early in a blowout loss, as he continues to do "Josh Smith" kind of things, regardless of what uniform he's wearing. He's been a bit of a disaster with the Rockets and things aren't likely to get better once Terrence Jones finally returns from his leg injury. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden plays well in loss to Warriors
James Harden hit 8-of-18 shots, three 3-pointers and 14-of-16 free throws on Wednesday, finishing with 33 points, four rebounds, six assists, two steals and a block.

Advice: He's still in the MVP discussion, but the Rockets are going to have to improve their record for him to win it. They were crushed by the Warriors tonight, despite making a late comeback in garbage time. Rotoworld.com

    • Donatas Motiejunas disappears in loss
Donatas Motiejunas hit just 2-of-8 shots for four points, three rebounds and two assists in Wednesday's loss to the Warriors.

Advice: That snapped a 12-game streak of double-digit scoring for D-Mo and he's been rebounding the ball well. He's still averaging 13.4 points, 6.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals in January, and the Rockets just didn't have it going against the Dubs tonight. And once Terrence Jones finally returns, things could get a little dicey in regards to Motiejunas. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook go off in DC
Kevin Durant scored a game-high 34 points in his homecoming during a 105-103 overtime win against the Wizards, adding seven rebounds, three assists, one block and four 3-pointers in 45 minutes.

Advice: He is on cruise control and just missed a triple-double against the Heat on Tuesday. Durant has picked it up lately over his last nine, averaging 22.4 points, 5.0 boards, 3.6 assists, 0.8 steals, 0.9 blocks and 1.7 treys. This still isn't quite as great as he was last season, but it won't be long until he's hanging 30-point games on a regular basis. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMarre Carroll glue for Hawks on Wednesday
DeMarre Carroll hit 7-of-11 shots for 17 points, two rebounds, four assists, four steals and three 3-pointers on Wednesday.

Advice: The Hawks are getting solid contributions from their core on most nights and Carroll, who is a starter, runs hot and cold, like most of the Hawks bench players. He's a nice player to have on your roster but isn't a must-start fantasy player due to the unselfishness of the Hawks. They've now tied a franchise record with 14 straight wins, and after starting the season at 7-6, have gone 28-2 since. They'll get a tough test for their 15th straight win on Friday at home against the Thunder, but it would almost be surprising to see them lose at this point. Rotoworld.com
