    • Demolition Man: Herb Jones goes 11/4/4/4/3 in win
Herb Jones posted 11 points, four rebounds, four assists, four steals, three blocks and a triple across 37 minutes in Thursday’s win over the Bucks.

Advice: “I’m a walking nightmare, an arsenal of doom.” Did Sting write those lyrics from the iconic Ghost in the Machine album with a defensive wizard like Jones in mind? It’s quite possible, as the Alabama product’s work on defense has been masterful this season, and he’s haunted many opposing players throughout the campaign. When fantasy managers describe a “full stat line,” Thursday’s performance is exactly what they’re talking about. Jones did a little bit of everything in Thursday’s victory, and he finished with at least three blocks and three steals for the second time this season. Only Anthony Davis and Victor Wembanyama have more such games in 2023-24. Over his last nine, Jones has been a defensive monster, averaging 1.7 steals and 1.8 blocks. His huge defensive numbers have bolstered his otherwise unspectacular averages this season, and Jones is a top-70 fantasy hoops player on a per-game basis. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:05 pm
    • Clint Capela double-doubles with two swats in win
Clint Capela posted 12 points, 13 boards, three assists and two blocked shots in 33 minutes Thursday as the Hawks defeated the Celtics 123-122 in OT.

Advice: Capela extended his double-double streak to five games, and he needed only one half to get there, as he posted 10/10 through two quarters. Capela has now posted a double-double in 10 of his last 11, sporting averages of 13.3 points, 11.8 rebounds, 0.8 steals and 1.5 swats in that span. The big man’s production has remained steady throughout the campaign, and he’s ranked just inside the top 100 in per-game fantasy value. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:21 pm
    • Nikola Jokic (back, hip) probable Friday vs. MIN
Nikola Jokic (low back pain, left hip inflammation) is probable for Friday’s game against the Timberwolves.

Advice: Jokic played 42 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to Phoenix and will likely take on a similar workload against the Timberwolves, especially if Jamal Murray (knee) remains sidelined. If the Joker cannot play, DeAndre Jordan would be the next man up for the Nuggets. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:45 pm
    • Lauri Markkanen, Johnny Juzang questionable Fri.
Lauri Markkanen (right quad contusion) and Johnny Juzang (back spasms) are questionable for Friday’s game against the Rockets.

Advice: Markkanen played 42 minutes in Wednesday’s loss to the Spurs after initially being listed as questionable. While the Jazz won’t play another back-to-back until the season’s final week, being eliminated from postseason contention could result in more time on the shelf for Lauri. As for Juzang, he has played rotation minutes off the bench, but the production has been enough to make him a player worth rostering in fantasy. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:30 pm
    • Questionable for Friday
Markkanen is questionable for Friday's game against the Rockets due to right shoulder soreness, Andy Larsen of The Salt Lake Tribune reports.

Advice: This is the first we're hearing of a shoulder injury for Markkanen, but we'll have a better idea of his status for Friday night based on his activity level at shootaround. If he is forced to the sidelines, that would open up minutes for Johnny Juzang (back) and Brice Sensabaugh. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:06 pm
    • Jonathan Kuminga (knee) questionable vs. Hornets
Jonathan Kuminga (left knee soreness) is considered questionable for the Warriors’ Friday game against the Hornets.

Advice: Kuminga is in danger of missing a second straight game for the Dubs after sitting through their latest win against the Magic. Andrew Wiggins could benefit most from the third-year wing’s absence. He went for 23 points with six rebounds against Orlando on Wednesday. Wiggins has been underwhelming this season but is rostered in 72% of Yahoo leagues. Trayce Jackson-Davis filled in as a starter on Wednesday and could also get a nice boost. The rookie big man is rostered in 40% of Yahoo leagues. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:49 pm
    • Expected to play Friday
Jokic (back/hip) is probable for Friday's game against the Timberwolves, Alan Horton of the Timberwolves Radio Network reports.

Advice: Jokic continues to manage hip and back inflammation but is expected to suit up for a third straight game after taking a seat for last Saturday's win over Portland. Over his last two appearances -- both without Jamal Murray (knee) -- Jokic has totaled 52 points, 20 rebounds, 18 assists, five steals and two blocks. Murray is questionable for Friday's contest. • Listed as questionable
Kuminga (knee) is questionable to face the Hornets on Friday.

Advice: Kuminga missed Wednesday's win over the Magic with knee soreness, and how he feels Friday will be pivotal in determining whether he can return to his regular starting role or not. Kuminga is averaging 19.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game across 13 starts in March. If he can't go, then Trayce Jackson-Davis and Moses Moody would have more prominent roles. • Massive workload in loss
Markkanen ended Wednesday's 118-111 loss to the Spurs with 25 points (8-17 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 6-6 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal across 42 minutes.

Advice: Markkanen's team-high 42 minutes marked his second-most playing time in a game this season. This is encouraging, considering the 26-year-old forward has missed eight of Utah's last 12 contests. Since the beginning of 2024, Markkanen has been shooting 42.0 percent on 7.7 three-point attempts per game. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:25 am
