      Advice: Maxey provided Philadelphia with a well-rounded outing in the Game 4 defeat, connecting on a team-high-tying trio of threes while ending as one of two players with 20 or more points. Maxey has been one of the 76ers' best offensive producers in the first-round series, surpassing the 20-point mark in all four outings.       Advice: Maxey and the 76ers are now on the brink of elimination, and his production decreased in Philadelphia’s two home games. After shooting 54% from the field in Games 1 and 2 (68 points), Maxey shot 17-of-42 and scored 48 at home. That isn’t terrible, but the decrease becomes magnified when the “supporting cast” continues to offer limited value. Kyle Lowry (7/5/7 with one 3-pointer) shot 1-of-6 from the field, and Tobias Harris (10 points, eight rebounds) was 4-of-10. Game 5 is on Tuesday in New York, with Philadelphia facing a 3-1 deficit.       Jalen Williams posted a solid line on Saturday with 21 points (9-of-16 FGs), nine rebounds, five assists, two steals and three triples against the Pelicans.

      Advice: JDub came out of the game early after getting poked in the eye, but he was able to return quickly and make a big impact on this game. Williams, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey combined to score 66 of OKC’s 106 points in this game, and the Pelicans didn’t have an answer for the second straight game. Williams has been really solid through the first three games of his playoff career, which shouldn’t come as a surprise.       Gobert logged 19 points (6-8 FG, 7-8 FT), 14 rebounds, one assist and one steal over 38 minutes during Friday's 126-109 victory over the Suns in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

      Advice: Gobert's scoring numbers have increased with each passing game in the series, though the increased offensive responsibility in Game 3 was directly related to Karl-Anthony Towns being limited with foul trouble.       Tyrese Maxey finished Thursday’s Game 3 win over the Knicks with 25 points (9-of-21 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), four rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and three 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

      Advice: After scoring 33 and 35 points in the series’ first two games, Maxey did not shoot the ball as well in Game 3. However, the winner of the NBA’s Most Improved Player award managed turnovers better than he did in the two losses in New York. Maxey committed just one turnover in Game 3 after tallying seven in Games 1 (three) and two (four). Even if the field-goal percentage isn’t always where it should be, Maxey is talented enough to compensate for that with increased production in other areas.       Advice: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Chet Holmgren carried the Thunder to a blowout win in Game 2 of the series, but Dort made his presence felt Wednesday and was a menace from beyond the arc.       White tallied 13 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four assists, one rebound, one block and one steal over 36 minutes in Wednesday's 111-101 loss to Miami in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference first round.

      Advice: White provided a boost on the offensive end of the court for Boston in a losing effort, handing out a team-high-tying quartet of assists to go along with a pair of threes and concluding as one of three Celtics in double figures in scoring. White has pitched in nicely behind Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum in the first round, recording at least 13 points and four rebounds in both outings against Miami.       Rudy Gobert accumulated 18 points (6-of-8 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), nine rebounds, two assists, three steals, and one blocked shot in 39 minutes in Tuesday’s 105-93 win over the Suns.

      Advice: Minnesota has a 2-0 series lead, and Gobert’s consistent production is one of the reasons why. After tallying 14 points and 16 rebounds in Game 1, the Stifle Tower scored 18 on Tuesday with a full stat line. Gobert had gotten what he wanted offensively, and his work at the foul line was the bonus. After shooting 6-of-7 from the line on Saturday, he duplicated that feat in Game 2. Gobert’s production in Game 2 helped the Timberwolves compensate for Karl-Anthony Towns’ off night, as he finished with 12 points, eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, and one 3-pointer in 24 foul-plagued minutes.       Advice: Maxey enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2023-24 after taking over the lead ball-handler role due to the departure of James Harden from Philadelphia. Maxey was able to improve his season averages of 20.3 points, 3.5 assists, 2.9 rebounds and 0.8 steals in 33.6 minutes from 2022-23 to 25.9 points, 6.2 assists, 3.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 37.5 minutes in 2023-24. While the 23-year-old's shooting splits decreased from 48.1/43.4/84.5 to 45.0/37.3/86.8, his jump as a playmaker and volume scorer helped him form one of the NBA's most dynamic duos alongside Joel Embiid.
