• Finishes season with 22 points
Young finished Wednesday's 131-116 Play-In Game loss to Chicago with 22 points (4-12 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 11-13 FT), two rebounds and 10 assists over 43 minutes.

Advice: Young may have played his last game in an Atlanta uniform Wednesday night. Young will likely test the market after a disappointing end to the 2023-24 season, and it seems to be foregone conclusion that he'll be headed elsewhere. The Hawks went 12-11 during Young's most recent absence, proving that the current roster can play break-even ball without him. Young's departure will free up considerable cap space, and with Dejounte Murray locked into a deal, the Hawks may look for a capable off-the-ball guard to complement him. • Trae Young posts 22/10 double-double in loss
Trae Young struggled on Wednesday but finished with 22 points (4-of-12 FGs, 11-of-13 FTs), two rebounds, 10 assists, three triples and six turnovers against the Bulls.

Advice: Despite previously being undefeated in the Play-In Tournament, the magic ran out for Trae and the Hawks in this one. This was their third straight appearance in the Play-In after making the Eastern Conference Finals before that. While Young was able to come away with a 20-point double-double, his inefficient shooting and turnovers certainly weren’t pretty. He was a team-worst -27 in 43 minutes, which means they outscored Chicago by 12 points in his five minutes on the bench. There had already been plenty of rumors suggesting that Atlanta could trae Young this summer, and after a performance like this, those rumors will certainly heat up. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:36 pm
  • De’Anthony Melton (back) out Wednesday vs. Miami
De’Anthony Melton (back injury recovery) is out for Wednesday’s game against the Heat.

Advice: While optimism was high when Melton returned to action during the final week of the regular season, he remained restricted regarding playing time. He did not practice on Tuesday and will not be available for the Play-In game against the Heat. Also, it’s unknown if (or when) Melton will be available if the 76ers play their way into the playoffs. • Won't play Wednesday
Melton (back/injury recovery) will be unavailable for Wednesday's Play-In Tournament matchup against Miami.

Advice: Melton has logged just five appearances since Jan. 12, being unable to return to 100 percent after initially dealing with a lumbar stress reaction in his spine. Subsequent attempts to return to action have been short-lived, and his absence from Philadelphia's rotation is a notable loss defensively. Win or lose Wednesday, Philadelphia will have another postseason contest in store, but Melton's outlook is currently bleak. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:42 pm
  • Misses another practice Tuesday
Melton (back) missed the duration of Tuesday's practice, Ky Carlin of USA Today reports.

Advice: Melton also missed Monday's practice, putting his status for Wednesday's game versus Miami in real jeopardy. There should be more clarity on Melton's status when the 76ers release their injury report Tuesday evening. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:41 am
  • Sits out practice
Melton (back) did not practice Monday, Ky Carlin of USA Today reports.

Advice: Melton returned from a 21-game absence back on April 10, but proceeded to sit out the season finale on April 14. For now, it's unclear if Melton's unavailability at practice was a mere precaution. He should be considered questionable for Wednesday's game against Miami. Rotowire.com Monday, 10:19 am
  • Jalen Green scores 13 in season finale Sunday
Jalen Green shot 5-of-14 from the field in Sunday’s win over the Clippers, scoring 13 points with six rebounds, three assists, and three 3-pointers in 23 minutes.

Advice: After scoring 26 points on 50% shooting in Friday’s win over Portland, Green was limited to 23 minutes on Sunday. The priority was to get less experienced players more run in the second half, and the third-year guard was excellent after the All-Star break. In 28 post-break games, he averaged 22.8 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.4 blocks, and 3.3 3-pointers, shooting 44.1% from the field and 80.9% from the foul line. Green was more productive and more efficient, with his offensive rating (117.1) being nearly six points higher than his pre-break number (111.9). Green benefitted from the changes made by the Rockets, most notably the hiring of Ime Udoka as head coach and the addition of point guard Fred VanVleet. That makes him an intriguing fantasy option for 2024-25. Rotoworld Sunday, 5:05 pm
  • Top distributor in double-double
Young provided 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds and 12 assists in 32 minutes during Sunday's 157-115 loss to Indiana.

Advice: Young led all Hawks in assists while ending as one of five players with a double-digit point total and as the lone Atlanta player with a double-double in a losing effort. Young ended the regular season with 37 double-doubles, including in two of the last three contests of the year. The Hawks will now attempt to play their way into the postseason with two wins in the Play-In Tournament. Atlanta will face off against the Bulls on Wednesday night in the Eastern Conference 9-10 matchup. Rotowire.com Sunday, 3:40 pm
  • Evan Mobley posts 14/6/5 stat line vs. Hornets
Evan Mobley played 25 minutes in Sunday’s 120-110 loss to the Hornets, scoring 14 points (5-of-13 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs) with six rebounds and five assists.

Advice: Cleveland had three of its usual starters (Mobley, Jarrett Allen, and Max Strus) in the lineup to begin Sunday’s game. After halftime, It became clear that the Cavs wanted no part of the 2-seed in the East (and a potential matchup with Philadelphia or Miami). As a result, Mobley only played 25 minutes, and the deep reserves floundered their way to a loss that left the fans displeased. Mobley and the Cavaliers will face Orlando in the first round, with Cleveland holding home-court advantage. Rotoworld Sunday, 12:57 pm
