  • Kris Humphries will start Tuesday vs. ATL
Kris Humphries will enter the starting lineup in place of Nene (foot) for Tuesday's game vs. the Hawks.

Advice: When given the minutes Humphries is a double-double threat, so he should serve as a fine plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Currently there is no timetable set for Nene's (foot) return, so if there's currently a guy on your roster you've been looking to cut, Humphries makes sense as a speculative add. Rotoworld.com

  • Chris Andersen (ankle) out Tuesday vs. GSW
Chris Andersen (ankle) will not suit up for Tuesday's game vs. the Warriors.

Advice: Erik Spoelstra has said that Andersen "will be out for awhile," so this news isn't surprising. Udonis Haslem and Justin Hamilton will split Andersen's backup minutes, but neither guy is worthy of any attention in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Nene (plantar fasciitis) out Tuesday vs. ATL
As expected, Nene (plantar fasciitis) will not suit up for Tuesday's game vs. the Hawks.

Advice: Plantar fasciitis is a tricky injury, and rest is the only cure, so Nene could be out for quite some time. It's unclear who will start with Nene sidelined, but Kris Humphries, Kevin Seraphin, and Drew Gooden will all vie for minutes. Owners in standard leagues can use a wait-and-see approach with aforementioned big men. Rotoworld.com

  • Joakim Noah (eye/knee) questionable Tuesday
Joakim Noah (eye/left knee) is being listed as questionable for Tuesday's game vs. Denver.

Advice: It's worth noting that Joakim's left knee is the one that was surgically repaired this offseason, so we'll be monitoring this situation closely. If Noah sits out, Nikola Mirotic would likely slide into the starting lineup, and would serve as an excellent plug-and-play option in daily leagues against a weak Denver interior defense. Check back for an official update on Noah's status as we draw closer to Tuesday's tip. Rotoworld.com

  • David West (ankle) targeting Friday return
David West (ankle) was a full participant during Tuesday's practice, and is targeting a return for Friday's game vs. Orlando.

Advice: Head coach Frank Vogel will have the final say as to whether West suits up or not, but he did give an encouraging quote after Tuesday's practice. "I’m hopeful [West can play Friday]," said Vogel. "We’ll see how he responded to this work, but we’re hopeful for Friday." It's looking like West is very close to making his regular-season debut, and when he returns Luis Scola will head to the bench. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Boozer (shoulder) misses Tuesday's practice
Carlos Boozer (shoulder) did not practice on Tuesday, and remains questionable for Wednesday's game vs. Memphis.

Advice: If Boozer is unable to go, Ed Davis (ankle) will draw another start. Davis struggled with foul trouble during his last outing, fouling out in just 22 minutes of action, but if he can get that under control he could provide some nice value in the blocks category. Davis figures to be a low-end option in standard leagues as the starting power forward for the Lakers, but a matchup vs. Memphis isn't exactly alluring. Rotoworld.com

  • Omer Asik (back) is hopeful to play on Tues.
Omer Asik (back) said that he will to try to play Tuesday vs. the Kings.

Advice: Asik has missed four consecutive games with this back injury, but he was able to practice on Monday. Still, owners will want to check back closer to tip-off for an official update on his status. If Asik is unable to go, Alexis Ajinca would likely draw another start at center, but Ryan Anderson is the one who gains the most when Asik is sidelined. Rotoworld.com

  • Pau Gasol (calf) probable for Tuesday vs. DEN
Pau Gasol (calf) is being listed as probable for Tuesday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Advice: Gasol is an absolute must-start option when he plays, but given the fact that Tom Thibodeau plays rather loosely with the term "probable," owners will want to check back closer to tip-off for an official update. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • No setbacks for James Johnson
James Johnson didn't suffer a setback in Monday's game when he played just four minutes in his return from an ankle injury.

  • Mitch McGary (foot) nearing a return

  • Rudy Gay (Achilles) will not play on Tuesday
Rudy Gay (Achilles) will not suit up for Tuesday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Omri Casspi and Derrick Williams will likely split minutes at small forward tonight, but Casspi is the more alluring option as he's posted a usage rate of 18.8 playing next to Darren Collison, DeMarcus Cousins, and Ben McLemore this season. He's capable of hitting 3-pointers in bunches, and has a favorable matchup tonight vs. the Pelicans, so Casspi could make for a nice plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Nene could miss several games for Wizards
Nene's foot injury could end up keeping him out for several games and not just the one or two the team initially said he might miss.

Advice: Wizards reporter Kyle Weidie is guessing Nene will miss up to six games with the injury, although that's just a guess. Plantar fasciitis is a tricky NBA injury and the Wizards would probably be smart to play it safe, rather than be sorry. Kris Humphries, Kevin Seraphin and Drew Gooden are going to benefit in his absence. Rotoworld.com

  • Kris Humphries is likely to start on Tuesday
Kris Humphries may start against the Hawks on Tuesday.

Advice: It's going to be him or Drew Gooden in place of Nene (foot) tonight. Humphries has played well in his brief time on the court with averages of 6.8 points, 4.7 boards and 0.5 blocks in 15.6 minutes. He should get minutes in the 20s tonight, which makes him a low-end stream play or an option in daily fantasy leagues. Check back later tonight for the starting lineups. Rotoworld.com

  • Chris Andersen (ankle) could be out awhile
Chris Andersen (ankle) "will be out for awhile," according to coach Erik Spoelstra.

Advice: This explains why the Heat added Hassan Whiteside and they're extremely thin up front. Andersen owners can cut him loose and there should be more from Udonis Haslem and Justin Hamilton. Whiteside is likely just an emergency guy. Rotoworld.com

  • Wizards hope Nene will only miss 1-2 games
The Washington Wizards hope that Nene (foot) will only miss one or two games.

Advice: Nene missed Monday's practice Monday, but Wizards head coach Randy Wittman is hopeful that Nene will only miss a game or two. "Just a precautionary thing," Wittman said of Nene’s doctor visit for an evaluation of his plantar fascia. "He had some soreness. I think it’s day-to-day with that, but again, we want to make everything’s okay." Washington plays on Tuesday and Wednesday, so a Saturday return against the Pelicans sounds like a likely scenario if the Wizards' timetable is correct. If the big man is unable to go against the Hawks on Tuesday, Kris Humphries and Kevin Seraphin would become decent plug-and-play options. Rotoworld.com

  • Larry Sanders shares source of inspiration
Larry Sanders spoke about the importance of sacred idols as the source of his inspiration.

Advice: When asked during an interview about what inspires him outside of basketball, Sanders showed his theological side. "I would just say, I really look to sacred idols," Sanders said. "I feel people who draw other people to God. So, Buddha, Jesus, just all the sacred icons. It's all theosis." While the 26-year-old has had a rough start to the 2014-15 regular season, he's still worth holding onto in standard leagues due to his potential to put up huge block numbers. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron James goes bonkers in blowout win
LeBron James scored 29 points on 9-of-17 shooting to go along with four rebounds, 11 assists, three steals, and two 3-pointers during Monday's 106-74 win over the Magic.

Advice: That's more like it. After recently saying that he needs to play hard, James backed up his words with one of his better games of the year on Monday. There will be bumps in the road as the Cavs come together as a team, but James' fantasy owners can expect more games like this moving forward. Rotoworld.com

  • D.J. White signs with Chinese team
D.J. White has signed with Fujian of China.

Advice: White's signing comes as Fujian released former NBA player Al Harrington. White last played for the Bobcats during the 2014-15 and could still join an NBA team as a bench player once the Chinese season is over in February, but he shouldn't be on any fantasy radars while he's overseas. • Al Harrington released by Chinese team
Al Harrington has been released by Fujian of China.

Advice: There are reports that Harrington's release is may coincide with an offer he received from an NBA team, but we'll have to await confirmation of those reports. The 34-year-old would join any NBA team as a bench player, however, so his fantasy value would be limited to the deepest of leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Favors goes for 21 and 15 against the Bulls
Derrick Favors scored 21 points on 10-of-17 shooting with a season-high 15 rebounds and one steal in Monday's 97-95 loss to the Bulls.

Advice: Favors is up-and-down a little bit but he's more or less playing near his ADP. He's averaging 15.6 points, 8.4 boards and a combined 2.2 steals and blocks per game, which has returned top 50-60 value on the season. Rotoworld.com

  • Kanter has productive night against Bulls
Enes Kanter scored 19 points on 9-of-13 shooting with eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block over 33 minutes in Monday's loss to the Bulls.

Advice: Kanter is averaging just 0.2 steals and 0.2 blocks per game, so if you're using him you probably wanted to uncork some cheap champagne tonight. He's more of a 14-team guy given his lack of statistical upside in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Pau Gasol (calf) returns, goes for 23 & 9
Pau Gasol (calf) returned to action in Monday's two-point win over the Jazz and will be day-to-day entering Tuesday's game in Denver, scoring 23 points on 11-of-20 shooting with nine rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks in 37 minutes.

Advice: Gasol is turning in a top 15-20 season so far when he's on the floor and the thing that stands out are his blocks. Averaging 2.5 per game on the year, it's a full block per game more than any of his last three seasons and it begs the question of when that's going to give. Even dating back to the preseason, his blocks have been a constant. Tom Thibodeau said after the game he wasn't sure about his status for Tuesday's game, so we have him on the injury report, but we haven't seen any specific sign that he won't play. Rotoworld.com

  • Noah leaves briefly with eye injury
Joakim Noah left Monday's game with an eye injury but eventually returned and finished with four points, five rebounds, four assists and one block in 30 minutes.

Advice: Noah is probably going to be a disappointment for anybody burning a high mid-round pick and that's before we talk about any injury risk. Unless you hear otherwise, feel free to have him in lineups for Tuesday's game in Denver. Rotoworld.com

  • Mirotic mildly productive in 28 minutes
Nikola Mirotic scored 10 points on 4-of-9 shooting with two threes, five boards and one assist in 28 minutes off the bench on Monday.

Advice: This was the fear in making a big play for Mirotic -- that Pau Gasol would return and negate the opportunity created by Taj Gibson's injury. Tom Thibodeau doesn't sound convinced that Gasol (calf) will play in Denver on Tuesday so there is some hope for another chance, and for what it's worth Joakim Noah played through a minor eye injury tonight. • Parsons scores 16 points with three treys
Chandler Parsons scored 16 points on 6-of-13 shooting (including three treys) with three rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block in Monday's loss to the Pacers.

Advice: Parsons has started off very slow and this should still be viewed as a buy low opportunity, but the clock is ticking for him to prove he can earn his keep in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Wright has another perfect game on Monday
Brandan Wright had another perfect game from the field on Monday, hitting all six of his shots for 13 points, four rebounds and two blocks in 25 minutes.

Advice: Wright is a machine and the only thing that can stop him is his own health, but for now he seems fairly durable and playing behind an older set of big men he has a lot of upside (especially in the case of Tyson Chandler). He's returning top 40-70 value (9/8 cat) and congratulations are in order if you drafted him. Rotoworld.com

  • Scola double-doubles with versatile line
Luis Scola had a uncharacteristic versatile line in Monday's win over the Mavs, scoring 14 points on 4-of-11 shooting with 11 rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block, one three and a 5-of-6 mark from the foul line.

Advice: Scola has been productive and will probably enjoy the rest of his four-game week, but he will lose his low-end value sooner rather than later when David West and Roy Hibbert return. Rotoworld.com

  • Copeland's value goes into the tank
Chris Copeland scored 11 points on 4-of-10 shooting with three treys, one board and that's it in 14 minutes off the bench on Monday.

Advice: Copeland never had any real value in standard leagues unless you were punting half your categories and who does that. Even though he hit three treys he's waiver wire fodder. Rotoworld.com

  • LaMarcus Aldridge drops 76ers to 0-14, scores 33
LaMarcus Aldridge made 13-of-20 from the field for 33 points against the 76ers on Monday to go with 11 rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer in 34 minutes.

Advice: He was coming off a 7-of-21 game on Sunday, but the 76ers defense will cure a lot of shooting issues. Aldridge also came into tonight shooting 45 percent from the field overall on the season because he's really struggled on his shots from 10-14 feet, making just 9-of-38 (23.7 percent) of those. Besides that, he's money from everywhere else, so his percentages should be on their way up. Rotoworld.com

  • Motiejunas nears solid double-double vs. NY
Donatas Motiejunas scored 13 points on 6-of-12 shooting with eight rebounds, one steal, one block and one three in 32 minutes against the Knicks.

Advice: Motie beating up on the Knicks and getting his usually non-existent peripheral stats isn't swinging the pendulum here, but he has been much more productive than he usually is lately. With Terrence Jones (leg) out long-term and Dwight Howard (knee) a question mark at this moment, we're all on the hunt for the beneficiary and right now Kostas Papanikolaou has a much better stat-set to get the job done with. Rotoworld.com

  • James Johnson plays four minutes on Monday
James Johnson played four minutes against the Suns with one steal and two fouls.

Advice: He didn't take a single shot tonight and may not be 100 percent. Johnson said he was "like Wolverine" for recovering so soon from his ankle sprain, but he wasn't a superhero with fouling tonight. He should be better his next time out. Rotoworld.com
    Yesterday, 9:06 pm
  • Love scores 12 points with eight boards
Kevin Love scored 12 points on 5-of-11 shooting with eight rebounds, five assists and two steals in the Cavs' 106-74 blowout win over the Magic on Monday.

Advice: LeBron James had the only big line with 29 points and 11 assists and Kyrie Irving put up just 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting with four assists, four steals and a three in 31 minutes, so the lower volume from Love isn't without company. His rebounding is way down and that might be his most troubling stat, because his 40 percent field goal shooting is almost obligated to jump up over 45 percent at some point. At a top 40-50 value this season, the buy low window is still wide open. Rotoworld.com

  • Pau Gasol will start against the Jazz
Pau Gasol (calf) will start against the Jazz on Monday.

Advice: He was probable for the game and it sounds like he's good to go for tonight. With Gasol back, Nikola Mirotic isn't as attractive, but he should still get minutes in the 20s. Gasol owners will want to put him in their lineups with a matchup against Enes Kanter. Rotoworld.com

  • Pau Gasol is still a game-time call
Coach Tom Thibodeau is confident Pau Gasol (calf) will play on Monday.

Rudy Gay (Achilles) is listed as questionable for Tuesday to face the Pelicans.

Advice: He is still dealing with right Achilles tendinitis and this issue is not going to go away any time soon. Gay does sound like he has a chance to play, but his owners will want to check back to see if he goes through shootaround. If he's out, Omri Casspi will start. Rotoworld.com

  • James Johnson will play on Monday night
James Johnson (ankle) will play against the Suns on Monday night.

Advice: He has been out since Nov. 16 with what looked like a severe ankle sprain, but Johnson is likely going to see his normal minutes. He was actually turning in mid-round value because of all the defensive stats, so he's worth a look in standard leagues. To be clear, he's not a must-own player and obviously won't be a mid-round guy on the season. Rotoworld.com

  • Carlos Boozer misses practice on Monday
Carlos Boozer (shoulder) missed practice on Monday.

Advice: He missed Sunday's game against the Nuggets despite being listed as probable. Boozer has been a guy who usually takes a lot longer to get over his injuries, so there is a chance he sits on Wednesday against the Grizzlies. If that is the case, Ed Davis (ankle) and Robert Sacre will get some more playing time. Jordan Hill also played a ridiculous 42 minutes on Sunday. Rotoworld.com

Nene (foot) wasn't able to practice on Monday.

Advice: Nene is dealing with plantar fasciitis in his left foot, so the extra rest during practice may become a regular routine for the big man. There's nothing to suggest he's going to miss time at this point, but that's always a possibility with him. If he is forced to miss time, Kris Humphries and Kevin Seraphin would benefit the most. Omer Asik (back) was able to get in some practice on Monday.

  • Pau Gasol now a game-time call on Monday
Pau Gasol (calf) is now a game-time decision for Monday's game versus Utah.

Advice: Gasol was previously listed as probable, so the game-time decision designation is actually a downgrade. Regardless, Gasol said he was feeling good about returning, so it would be a surprise if he can't go. However, we've seen surprises with Gasol and the Bulls' injury report this season, so we're not ruling it out. If Gasol doesn't play, Nikola Mirotic would be in line for a big role with Taj Gibson (ankle) already ruled out. Joakim Noah would also play as many minutes as he can handle. Rotoworld.com

LeBron James recently said that he needs to play harder.

Advice: I've been kind of waiting around a little bit to see what may happen, sometimes it's been good, sometimes it hasn't been good," he said. "I've got a pretty good, clear cut of what I'm going to be doing going forward, I'm not going to tell you right now, so don't ask me." David West (ankle) is "getting close" to returning.

Advice: Mirotic balled out on Friday without Taj Gibson (ankle) and Pau Gasol (calf) available with 24 points, 11 rebounds and four 3-pointers, but he's going to need injuries ahead of him to produce like that regularly. He has an offensive game that's very capable of helping fantasy teams, but he's limited by his current role. Rotoworld.com

  • LaMarcus Aldridge joins exclusive FT club
LaMarcus Aldridge was ice cold for most of Sunday's game, but he persevered to finish with 20 points, 14 rebounds, two assists and one block in a road win vs. the Celtics.

Advice: LA made 7-of-21 FGs and 6-of-7 FTs, in the process becoming the fifth Blazer in franchise history to make at least 2,000 free throws, joining Clyde Drexler, Terry Porter, Jerome Kersey and Cliff Robinson. Aldridge has one DNP this season, due to an illness, but otherwise he's been a third-round value in 8-cat leagues and an early second-round value in 9-cat leagues due to an unsustainable 1.0 turnovers per game. • Carlos Boozer (shoulder) ruled out vs. Denver
Carlos Boozer (shoulder) will not play vs. the Nuggets on Sunday.

Advice: He was listed as probable after missing Saturday's practice, was downgraded to questionable on Sunday afternoon, and ultimately ruled out an hour before tip-off. • Carlos Boozer (shoulder) questionable Sunday
Carlos Boozer (shoulder) is being listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Advice: If Boozer is unable to go, Ed Davis will draw the start, and depending on how Davis fares the move could become permanent. Scott has grown tired of Boozer's uninspired play on the defensive end, as he's currently sitting on a +/- rating of minus-90 on the season. Meanwhile, Davis has been racking up the defensive stats in limited playing time and is currently a plus-6 on the year. Pau Gasol (calf) is probable for Monday's game against Utah, while Derrick Rose (hamstring) remains questionable.

Advice: Gasol said that he's feeling much better and chances are "pretty high" he'll return, while Rose's situation remains the status quo. I Gasol is unable to go for some reason, Nikola Mirotic would be in for a heavy heaping of minutes with Taj Gibson (ankle) already ruled out for Monday and Tuesday. LeBron James said after Saturday's game that the Cavaliers are "a very fragile team right now."

Advice: "Any little adversity that hits us, we just shell up," James said. "This is not even the lowest it's going to get for us ... It's still too early for me to be negative at all. Nene's plantar fasciitis is in his right foot, not the left foot that derailed his 2012-13 season.

Advice: "I think he’s OK," said Wizards coach Randy Wittman. "I haven’t been able to talk with the trainer or anything to get exactly what’s going on." Nene said the pain has developed "over time" and we're considering him questionable for Tuesday's home game vs. the Hawks, the first in a back-to-back set for Washington. Advice: Nene (foot) went down tonight and there is a very good chance he will miss time. Humphries has some upside to be a double-double guy with some defensive stats, so he's a speculative add in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Larry Sanders gets his minutes in check
Larry Sanders played 19 minutes against the Wizards on Saturday with five points, four rebounds, one steal and four blocks.

Advice: He fouls too much and the Bucks run an 11-man rotation, so that leaves a lot to be desired from the 2012-13 breakout player. Still, the blocks make him someone worth holding on to just in case coach Jason Kidd decides to tighten his rotation. Rotoworld.com

  • Donatas Motiejunas racks up 14 & 12 in win
Donatas Motiejunas played a whopping 38 minutes (season high) and hit 5-of-7 shots on his way to 14 points, 12 rebounds and a 3-pointer on Saturday.

Advice: He also had five turnovers, but who cares? He's been getting some decent run with Dwight Howard out, but this was easily his best game of the season. He had played just 18 minutes in each of his last two games, but got big run tonight, and it paid off. He's still a shaky play in daily or standard leagues, but as long as Howard and Terrence Jones are out, he's at least worth a look from night to night. Rotoworld.com

  • Brandan Wright stays hot in loss to Rockets
Brandan Wright hit 6-of-7 shots (as usual) and racked up 14 points, 11 rebounds and three blocks in just 22 minutes on Saturday.

Advice: Wright is a beast right now and a very economical center in daily leagues. Despite coming off the bench and getting just 19.4 minutes per game, Wright has scored in double figures in seven straight games and came into this one averaging 12.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 1.0 blocks over his last five. Those numbers are going up and he’s shooting it lights out this season, and hitting 31-of-39 shots over his last six games. If starter Tyson Chandler ever gets hurt, look out. Rotoworld.com
    Saturday, 8:31 pm
  • Chandler Parsons struggles vs. Houston
Chandler Parsons faced his ex teammates on Saturday, but never got it going, finishing with eight points, eight rebounds, a steal and five fouls on 3-of-9 shooting.

Advice: He was 0-for-5 from downtown and teammates Dirk Nowitzki (4-of-18) and Monta Ellis (7-of-21) didn't shoot it any better than Parsons. He was also just 2-of-5 from the free throw line, as the Mavs watched the Rockets race from behind and win the game on a James Harden three-point play. Parsons has been a bit inconsistent thus far, but should continue to improve as he gets more comfortable in the Mavs' offense. And he might have been pressing tonight against the Rockets. • Kevin Love scores season-high 23 points Sat.
Kevin Love, who recently asked for a bigger offensive role, finishing Saturday's game with a season-high 23 points on 8-of-16 FGs and 7-of-7 FTs, as well as seven boards and one steal.

Advice: Love hasn't been satisfied with the number of looks he's gotten inside ten feet of the hoop, but tonight 10 of his attempts came from that range (six of which he made). His mild offensive improvement is hard to appreciate from the Cavs' perspective, as they blew a big early lead at home, but at least Love's fantasy owners have some cause for optimism. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron James, Cavs drop fourth straight
LeBron James started Saturday's game vs. the Raptors with a flurry of energy, but he finished with 15 points, 10 assists, one steal and one block as the Cavaliers stumbled to a 17-point home loss.

Advice: LBJ said he felt good before the game, and began with a spirited intensity that was sorely lacking in Friday's defeat, but elation gave way to frustration as Cleveland let an early lead slip away. The Cavs will have their ups and downs throughout the regular season, but we can count on LeBron to put up phenomenal fantasy stats no matter what the circumstances. Rotoworld.com

  • Nene leaves Saturday with plantar fasciitis
Nene started Saturday's game but only played six minutes before being ruled out with plantar fasciitis.

Advice: Uh oh. Nene's 2012-13 season was spoiled by a never-ending bout of plantar fasciitis, so this is an ominous development just three weeks into the season. Kris Humphries is the most likely player to start at PF if Nene misses any time, while DeJuan Blair and Drew Gooden could find themselves back in the frontcourt rotation. Fantasy owners should consider Nene day-to-day for now, while bracing themselves for DNPs. Rotoworld.com

  • Omer Asik (back) will not play on Saturday
Omer Asik (back) will not play against the Jazz on Saturday.

Advice: He had an aggravation in Friday warmups and didn't have much of a chance to play tonight. With Asik out, Alexis Ajinca will get some extra playing time, but he's not a great fantasy option. Asik could miss more time and he's not a must-own player. Rotoworld.com

  • Carlos Boozer has a sore shoulder issue
Carlos Boozer is dealing with a sore shoulder and missed Saturday's practice, but he's probable to play vs. Denver on Sunday.

Advice: There is no indication that he is in jeopardy of missing Sunday's game against the Nuggets. Boozer doesn't have any red flags on his shoulder and he probably just had a little too much contact at some point. If this does become an issue, Ed Davis would be a hot pickup. To be clear, Boozer sounds like he's OK. Rotoworld.com

  • Mitch McGary (foot) practices lightly on Sat.
Mitch McGary (foot) went through portions of OKC's practice on Saturday.

Advice: It's still unclear when McGary might return from his left foot fracture. With Steven Adams starting and Kendrick Perkins playing well off the Thunder bench, there may not even be space in the rotation for McGary. Rotoworld.com

  • Omer Asik (back) doubtful to play vs. Jazz
Omer Asik (back) is doubtful to play vs. the Jazz on Saturday.

Advice: Asik aggravated his lower back while warming up prior to Friday's game and it sounds like he'll miss his third straight game in Utah, but there's still a chance he'll recover in time to play. Alexis Ajinca has been very quiet as a fill-in starter in Asik's absence and there are no real fantasy winners in this scenario. Rotoworld.com

  • Pau Gasol (calf) does on-court drills Friday
Pau Gasol (calf) went through on-court drills on Friday and wrote that he's "getting closer to [a] return."

Advice: Gasol could return Monday in Utah or Tuesday in Denver. His improving health is welcome news for Chicago, which has lost two straight games and may be forced to play without Taj Gibson (ankle) for a while. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Love struggles, laments perimeter role
Cavs coach David Blatt said after Friday's loss to the Wizards, "We've got to get [Kevin Love] more [shots]."

Advice: Love downplayed Blatt's suggestion that he's slowed by nagging injuries, focusing instead on the role he's being asked to play as a perimeter shooter. LeBron James wasn't buying that excuse for Love's slump, saying, "I don’t think it’s a role. I think it’s the demand. Kev is a guy if he wants the ball in the post he gets it in the post. He demands it and we give it to him." The Cavaliers aren't on the same page on or off the court, it seems, but they still have 71 regular-season games to figure things out. Rotoworld.com

  • Cavs coach worried about 'every single thing'
After the Cavaliers fell to 5-6 with a loss on Friday, coach David Blatt said he's concerned about "every single thing" his team is doing.

Advice: "This is the same team a week ago was scoring 120 points a game," Blatt said. "We’re not a different group of people and we're not a different team. We're just playing in the dark right now." When LeBron James was asked whether any of the Cavs' lineups had found a rhythm this year he quickly replied "No," and it doesn't help that Blatt is experimenting with different rotations on a nightly basis. The Cavs will try to right the ship vs. the visiting Raptors on Saturday. Rotoworld.com

  • Nikola Mirotic erupts w/ 24 points, 11 boards
Nikola Mirotic stepped up with Taj Gibson (ankle) getting hurt against the Blazers on Friday, scoring a career-high 24 points with 11 rebounds, two assists and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

Advice: Pau Gasol (calf) did not play tonight and X-rays were negative on Gibson's ankle, so he is not a lock for minutes. That said, Mirotic is capable of blocking shots, hitting treys and turning in good percentages, so it's not a bad idea to add him speculatively in some leagues. To be clear, we wouldn't cut a player you're going to miss. Rotoworld.com

  • Favors nears double-double in blowout loss
Derrick Favors scored 10 points on 3-of-11 shooting with nine rebounds, one steal and two blocks in Friday's blowout loss to the Warriors.

Advice: This was as good as it got in the starting lineup in yet another terrible basketball game on Friday. Enes Kanter scored 18 points on 8-of-10 shooting with five rebounds, three assists and five turnovers but as usual had no steals or blocks, Trey Burke fell off a cliff with two points (1-of-8 FGs), five assists, one steal, and Alec Burks hit 3-of-10 shots for nine points, four boards and a three. Woof. Rotoworld.com

  • Parsons breaks out of slump against Lakers
Chandler Parsons scored 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting with two threes, two boards and three assists over 29 minutes in Friday's massive win over the Lakers.

Advice: Parsons had a stretch including 5-of-6 games in which he didn't exceed 30 minutes, that also happened to correspond with him getting the flu. He played 37 minutes on Wednesday and that was probably a warning shot to owners that he was ready to get things moving. Rotoworld.com
    Friday, 10:12 pm
  • Wright with yet another efficient line on Fri
Brandan Wright hit all five of his field goal attempts in Friday's blowout win, finishing with 12 points, three boards and two steals in just 19 minutes.

Advice: Wright is hitting an absurd 77.8 percent from the field while returning top 50-90 value (9/8 cat) in just 18.6 mpg. If you were an early adopter or drafted Wright go ahead and pat yourself on the back, and if your league is still sleeping it's time to wake up. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron James scores 22 points; Cavs now 5-6
LeBron James scored 22 points in a loss to the 91-78 loss to the Wizards on Friday to go with four rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

Advice: The Cavs are 5-6 and LeBron is below .500 after playing in at least 10 games since the 2007-08 season. The Cavs also had a 76ers-like 82.0 offensive efficiency rating tonight. While everyone is going to overreact, LeBron has been a top-10 player in fantasy leagues despite not even being close to as great as he was last season. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Love's struggles continue again
Kevin Love struggled against the Wizards on Friday with eight points, eight boards, two assists, one steal, four turnovers and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Advice: He was horrible on both ends of the floor and the Wizards went at him on defense. Love is shooting below 39 percent from the field on the year and has scored just 12.6 points per game over his last five. Despite the awful start, he's still been a top-40 player before tonight, but his value has trended down in the past two weeks. It be a good idea to see if his owner is hitting the panic button. • Omer Asik is questionable for Friday
Omer Asik (back) is questionable to face the Nuggets on Friday.

  • Pau Gasol will not play on Friday night
Pau Gasol (calf) will not play against the Blazers on Friday night.

Advice: This will be his third game out of the lineup since being called "probable" for Monday. Gasol has been outstanding with the Bulls, but perhaps he was playing too many minutes. Taj Gibson was a letdown on Thursday thanks to Jason Thompson playing out of his mind on defense, but his owners should fire him up in all leagues tonight. Rotoworld.com

  • David West (ankle) returns to practice Friday
David West (ankle) was a limited participant during Friday's practice and is not expected to return until after Thanksgiving.

Advice: West remains without a definitive return date, but his return to practice is a positive sign. He'll provide the Pacers with some much needed offense when he’s finally able to suit up, and should be owned in all leagues for his ability to put up points and boards with high percentages. Luis Scola and Lavoy Allen will continue to help fill the void with West sidelined, but neither guy is worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Larry Sanders left thigh now 100 percent
Larry Sanders said that he's fully healed from his left thigh injury he sustained during Friday's game vs. the Magic.

Advice: It's nice to know that he's healthy, but it would be better if he could start contributing consistently. Sanders is averaging 6.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.4 steals, and 1.6 blocks per game this season while shooting 41.1 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from the charity stripe. Those poor shooting percentages are keeping him out of the top-100, and right now he doesn't look like much more than a blocks specialist in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Rudy Gay puts up an efficient 20 points
Rudy Gay made 7-of-11 from the field for 20 points against the Bulls on Thursday and added seven rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.

Advice: He was probable to play with some Achilles soreness and he did have a heating pad on his foot in the fourth quarter. According to TNT's telecast, the Kings were planning on treating him in the game, so there's no need to worry. There is a chance this becomes an issue later, but Gay should be in all lineups right now. Rotoworld.com

  • Joakim Noah turns it on late
Joakim Noah turned it on late against the Kings in a losing effort on Thursday, finishing with 10 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, one steal and one block in 37 minutes.

Advice: He played almost the entire fourth quarter with five fouls and was very active on the glass. Noah had another double-double on Monday in the first game without Pau Gasol, so it's fair to say Noah will have better fantasy value sans Pau. Rotoworld.com

  • Rudy, DMC and Thompson are all in on Thurs
Rudy Gay (Achilles), Jason Thompson (quad) and DeMarcus Cousins (hip) are all starting on Thursday.

  • Rudy Gay (Achilles) probable for Thursday
Rudy Gay (Achilles) is being listed as probable for Thursday's game vs. the Bulls.

Advice: Gay hasn't missed a game yet with his Achilles tendinitis, so we're going to say he's very likely to play in this one. Still, owners will want to check back for an official update as we draw closer to Thursday's tip. If Gay is unable to go, Omri Casspi would likely pick up a majority of his minutes at small forward. • James Johnson (ankle) sheds walking boot
James Johnson (ankle) was moving well without a walking boot after the Raptors' practice on Thursday.

Advice: The Raptors' defensive specialist and energizer is questionable for Friday's home game vs. the Bucks. It wouldn't be surprising to see him held out another game as a precaution, but we'll have a much clearer idea of his status after shootaround. Rotoworld.com
    Thursday, 10:26 am
  • Pau Gasol (calf) will not play vs. Sacramento
Pau Gasol (strained calf) will not play vs. the Kings on Thursday.

Advice: He's questionable to return for Friday's game vs. the Blazers, but said on Wednesday that he must be patient to avoid aggravating the injury. Hopefully his status will once again be determined after Chicago's shootaround, rather than moments before tip-off. Taj Gibson is a terrific option with Gasol out on Thursday, especially with Joakim Noah still playing on a minute-limit. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Love trying to find himself in Cavs' O
Kevin Love admitted that he is still trying to find his place in the Cavaliers' offense after Wednesday loss to the Spurs.

Advice: While Love's averages of 17.4 points, 10.3 rebounds, and 2.2 three-pointers per game are still solid fantasy output, owners still aren't getting what they expected when they used a first-round pick on the big man. "I'm just trying to find myself in this offense," Love said after the game. "I came here to win. We're going to figure it out. We're going to be OK." Fantasy owners shouldn't panic as Love has better days ahead of him, but expectations need to be tempered as he sacrifices touches to LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. Rotoworld.com

  • Carlos Boozer turns in another big game
Carlos Boozer scored 12 points with 13 rebounds, one assist and two turnovers in 30 minutes against the Rockets on Wednesday.

Advice: He shot just 5-of-15 from the field and wasn't quite as hot as his 20-point, 10-board game on Tuesday. Nobody will bother trading for Boozer in your fantasy league, but he's worth owning as a low-upside guy for his points and boards. Rotoworld.com

  • Donatas Motiejunas loses playing time
Donatas Motiejunas played 18 minutes against the Lakers on Wednesday with seven points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal, one 3-pointer and four fouls.

Advice: He may have squandered his last real chance here. Motiejunas had his best opportunity of the season with Dwight Howard (knee) and Terrence Jones (leg) out, but his fouls and turnovers were the headline for him tonight. Fantasy owners just can't trust him right now. Rotoworld.com
    Wednesday, 11:29 pm
  • Larry Sanders plays 14 minutes
Larry Sanders played 14 minutes against the Nets on Wednesday with four points, four boards and one turnover.

Advice: He was a game-time decision tonight and the Bucks didn't announce he was a go until after the 7:30 start time in Brooklyn. Sanders will likely have his minutes limited in his next game on Friday, so his owners should have low expectations against the Raptors on Friday. Check back for updates, assuming the team provides them. Rotoworld.com

  • Brandan Wright scores 14 off Mavs bench
Brandan Wright hit 6-of-7 shots off the bench for 14 points, six rebounds, a steal and a block in Wednesday's win.

Advice: Wright has somehow scored in double figures in five straight games and is averaging 12.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.6 blocks over that stretch, despite playing just 19 minutes a game. He's also hit 24-of-31 shots during that run, and is worth owning in most leagues, despite coming off the bench. Rotoworld.com

  • Chandler Parsons struggles in win over Wiz
Chandler Parsons hit just 4-of-12 shots and three 3-pointers for 11 points and three rebounds in Wednesday's win over the Wizards.

Advice: Parsons scored 17 on Monday, but has scored 14 or fewer point in three of his last four games. He's averaging just 14.3 points on the season after posting a career-high 16.6 last season. Playing alongside Dirk Nowitzki and Monta Ellis is making it tough for Parsons to fill it up nightly, but he's still an effective fantasy player. Rotoworld.com

  • Chris Copeland's minutes take a hit
Chris Copeland played just 27 minutes against the Hornets on Wednesday with six points, two rebounds and two assists.

Advice: His minutes took a significant hit with Rodney Stuckey returning tonight after a 39-minute game in his last outing. Copeland is struggling from the field and has hit just 34.0 percent in his last five, averaging 9.0 points, 3.0 boards, 1.2 assists, 0.4 steals and 1.8 triples in that span. If you're eyeing another hot free agent, Copeland is not a must-own player anymore. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron, Irving not enough vs. Spurs
LeBron James hit 6-of-17 shots and two 3-pointers for 15 points, six rebounds, nine assists, a steal, a block and five turnovers in Wednesday's loss to the Spurs.

Advice: Kyrie Irving was better on 7-of-15 shooting and three 3-pointers for 20 points, just two assists, and three steals. LeBron's ball handling is probably going to hurt Irving's assist numbers over the course of the season, along with Kevin Love's rebounding and scoring. Had LeBron limited his TOs and made a few more shots tonight, the Cavs would have beaten the Spurs, but they played solid defense against him. LeBron wasn't at his best tonight, but he's having a big season and should be ready to dominate against the Wizards on Friday. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Love goes for 10 & 11 in loss to Spurs
Kevin Love hit just 4-of-12 shots and no 3-pointers on his way to 10 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, a steal and a block in 35 minutes of Wednesday's loss to the Spurs.

Advice: Love's owners may have to be talked off a ledge after this one. He's had a fine season, but hasn't exactly been the superstar they were looking to draft in the first round of drafts. Love has now scores 14 or fewer points in four of his last seven games, has four games on the season with eight or fewer rebounds, and has finished three games without a 3-pointer, including tonight. He's averaging a respectable 17.4 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.2 3-pointers per game, but sometimes you don't get what you pay for. Rotoworld.com

Larry Sanders is in the starting lineup on Wednesday night.

Advice: In usual Bucks fashion, this update comes at 7:37 pm EST for the 7:30 game. Sanders' thigh issue may limit him and his minutes have been a bit erratic anyway, so he should be on the bench in most fantasy leagues. Zaza Pachulia will move back into the second unit tonight. Rotoworld.com

  • Larry Sanders is a game-time call vs. Nets
Larry Sanders (thigh) is a game-time call on Wednesday night to face the Nets.

  • James Johnson won't play vs. Memphis
James Johnson (ankle) will not play against the Grizzlies on Wednesday.

  • Larry Sanders (thigh) questionable Wednesday
Larry Sanders (thigh) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Nets.

Advice: He was a late scratch on Tuesday because of his bruised thigh, so owners will want to check back for updates prior to tip-off. • James Johnson (ankle) still in walking boot
James Johnson (ankle) was seen still wearing a walking boot Wednesday morning, making him highly doubtful to play against his former Memphis team.

Advice: It is not looking good for him, and we had our doubts about him recovering in time for this one anyway. Johnson has been huge for Toronto early in the season, and has posted enough defensive statistics to be a nice asset in deeper leagues. However, barring a miracle Johnson will likely sit this one out, meaning Terrence Ross will see a bump in his minutes. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • David West (ankle) will not play on Wednesday
David West (ankle) will not play in Wednesday's game against the Hornets.

Advice: This has to be frustrating for his owners, as he has yet to play this season with his nagging ankle sprain. We will continue to monitor his status and it should be noted that he still deserves to be owned in almost all leagues for his scoring and rebounding prowess. In the meantime, Luis Scola will continue to start with Lavoy Allen backing him up, but neither player is an attractive option in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Rudy Gay (Achilles) quiet in 37 minutes Tues.
Rudy Gay (Achilles) had a subpar game in 37 minutes of action on Tuesday, making 6-of-17 field goals to finish with 15 points, four rebounds, five assists, one steal and four turnovers.

Advice: Gay didn't appear hobbled and his playing time suggests the Kings' coaches and trainers weren't overly concerned about his Achilles tendinitis, which had him listed as questionable for the game. Sacramento returns to action on Thursday vs. the Bulls, and fantasy owners should assume Gay will start unless a report surfaces to the contrary. Rotoworld.com

  • Enes Kanter scores 16 pts, grabs 15 boards
Enes Kanter scored 16 points and grabbed a season-high 15 rebounds in an easy win vs. the Thunder on Tuesday, making 6-of-16 FGs and 4-of-8 FTs in just 27 minutes of action.

Advice: This was Kanter's first sub-.500 shooting game since Nov. 7, and he's shooting 85.0 percent from the charity stripe this season, so he gets a pass for the poor percentages. He also had zero assists, steals or blocks tonight, which is an unfortunate trend -- his 8-cat fantasy value is severely limited by averages of 0.4 assists, 0.3 steals and 0.3 blocks per game. • Derrick Favors scores 10 points in 26 minutes
Derrick Favors was conspicuously quiet in Tuesday's win vs. the Thunder, scoring 10 points with seven rebounds, two assists and one block in just 26 minutes.

Advice: He picked up four fouls, which limited his playing time, and credit is due to Serge Ibaka's defense. Favors hasn't been the most consistent player this year, but he's exceeding fantasy owners' expectations with top-40 value and should only get better as the season progresses. Rotoworld.com

  • Larry Sanders (thigh) traveling on road trip
Larry Sanders (bruised left thigh) will travel with the Bucks for games on Wednesday and Friday.

Advice: He remains questionable for Wednesday's game vs. the Nets, but it's a great sign that he'll join the team for their brief two-game road trip. Zaza Pachulia double-doubled with a full line as a starter in Sanders' absence on Tuesday and would be worth a look for temporary value if Sanders misses any more games. We should know more after Milwaukee's shootaround, so check for updates on Wednesday afternoon. Rotoworld.com

  • Carlos Boozer's 20 & 10 help LAL hold off ATL
The Lakers pulled out a five-point road win in Atlanta on Tuesday, aided by Carlos Boozer's 20 points (10-of-14 shooting), 10 rebounds and two assists.

Advice: Boozer was torched defensively but made up the difference with solid rebounding and shooting, which is a nice sight after Sunday's dud (six points on 3-of-13 shooting). He's barely clinging to 14-team value this season, but has picked up the pace over the past week and is worth owning if you need points, boards and solid FG percentages. Rotoworld.com

  • Omer Asik (back) will not play Tuesday vs SAC
Omer Asik (back) will miss his second straight game vs. the Kings on Tuesday.

Advice: Asik warmed up but didn't feel good enough to return, leaving Alexis Ajinca as the Pelicans' likely starting center. Ryan Anderson was the guy who absorbed most of Asik's playing time on Monday, however, and he should do so again tonight. Asik is day-to-day and could return as soon as Friday in Denver. • Rudy Gay (Achilles) starting vs. New Orleans
Rudy Gay (Achilles) will start Tuesday's game vs. New Orleans, as expected.

Advice: Gay has some tendinitis in his right Achilles but the fact that he's active indicates it's not serious. He's off to a terrific start this season, averaging 22.5 points and 6.8 rebounds, and it's safe to keep him active in all lineups. Rotoworld.com

  • Larry Sanders a late scratch w/ bruised thigh
Larry Sanders was a late scratch on Tuesday due to a bruised thigh.

Advice: Zaza Pachulia will start at center in his absence and John Henson should earn more playing time off the bench, but the injury was reported so late that most fantasy owners will be unable to change their lineups. Sanders has averaged 6.2 points, 7.6 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.8 blocks through the Bucks' first 10 games, despite the fact that he's playing only 22 minutes per game. His injury doesn't sound serious and we're considering him questionable to return for Wednesday's game in Brooklyn. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron James wants minutes to come down
LeBron James stated during a recent interview that his minutes have to "come down."

Advice: "For me, I don't want to [play heavy minutes] all year," James said. "Obviously right now it's difficult because we're trying to find a groove and we're trying to find a rhythm and we're trying to find something that you can't really, you don't want to shortcut it but at the same time you gotta be smart about it." James is currently averaging the third-most minutes per game in the NBA at 39.1 per game, but a slight reduction in minutes wouldn't hinder James' value. When LBJ is on the court, he will put up big stat lines, so owners have nothing to worry about with this report. Rotoworld.com

  • Rudy Gay (Achilles) probable Tuesday vs. NO
Rudy Gay (right Achilles tendinitis) has been upgraded to probable for Tuesday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: It's looking likely that Gay will suit up for this one, but owners will want to check back for an official update as we draw closer to Tuesday's tip. If Gay sits, Omri Casspi would likely pick up a majority of the minutes at small forward, and would make for a decent plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • David West (ankle) out Wednesday vs. Hornets
David West (ankle) will not suit up for Wednesday's game vs. the Hornets.

Advice: West's potential return date keeps getting pushed back, and this just really speaks to the severity of the ankle injury he sustained back in October. The Pacers haven't given much updates on West's status, but we'll be monitoring his status closely. Luis Scola and Lavoy Allen will continue to split minutes at power forward with West sidelined, but neither guy is a very attractive option in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron James working on relationship w/Blatt
LeBron James is still working on building a relationship with Cavaliers head coach David Blatt.

Advice: James and Blatt had somewhat contrary statements about the Cavs' energy level after Monday's loss to the Nuggets, but we're still only nine games into the regular season so it's not time to send the two to counseling just yet. "Every day we continue to learn each other, as a group, as individuals," James said before the Cavs' loss. "He's an intense guy, very intense guy. Wants to win, wants to do it the right way. He doesn't want to mess around too much with the process, and you can respect that." Regardless of his relationship with his head coach, James' fantasy owners have to be happy with his top-5 play over the last two weeks. Rotoworld.com

  • Joakim Noah says Bulls have work to do
Joakim Noah said the Bulls still have work to do after Monday's win over the Clippers.

Advice: After easily defeating the Clippers without Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol, Noah said the Bulls have some building to do. "We have a lot of work to do," Noah said. "As long as we stay humble and we keep working, keep getting better as a team, hopefully, we'll have a chance. But we're nowhere near where we have to be." While Noah's numbers haven't been exactly what his fantasy owners expected, his improved play over the Bulls' last five games should give hope that he can still return top-30 value. Rotoworld.com

  • Noah posts big popcorn line in easy win
Joakim Noah scored 11 points on 5-of-8 shooting with 16 rebounds and six assists in Monday's easy win over the Clippers.

Advice: Noah's numbers are down in enough areas to worry that he's still not at 100 percent, but he's playing and doing enough to return top-75 value. Rotoworld.com

  • Mirotic productive with Pau Gasol out
Nikola Mirotic was productive with Pau Gasol (calf) out on Monday, scoring 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting (including a three) with seven rebounds and two assists in 18 minutes.

Advice: Mirotic needs an injury or two in front of him before he has any real fantasy value, but this is a good sign that he may be able to come through if given the chance. Rotoworld.com

  • Aldridge (illness) returns to action on Mon
LaMarcus Aldridge (illness) returned to action in the Blazers' 102-93 win over the Pelicans on Monday, scoring 22 points on 9-of-18 shooting with nine rebounds and one steal in 37 minutes.

Advice: It's always nice for Aldridge to come away with a nice line against one of the few guys that can defend his fadeaway in Anthony Davis. He's a top 15-30 play (9/8 cat) in the games he's been on the floor this season. Rotoworld.com
    Monday, 10:49 pm
  • Motiejnuas can't take advantage of chance
Donatas Motiejunas logged just 18 minutes in Monday's blowout loss, scoring six points on 3-of-8 shooting with two rebounds and one block.

Advice: It's starting to feel like Terrence Jones (leg) will miss another month, and we've included the link to one of many scattered reports that had Rockets play-by-play man Bill Worrell saying that "may" be the case. But Motiejunas has been terrible in most formats this year, and it's more likely that there is no real beneficiary due to Jones' time off. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron says he was playing through the flu
LeBron James played through the flu in the Cavs' 106-97 home loss to the reeling Nuggets on Monday, scoring 22 points on 8-of-18 shooting with nine rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 41 minutes.

Advice: The flu is doubtful to hold him back going forward, especially with the Cavs under increased scrutiny with each passing loss. We're keeping him off the injury report. Rotoworld.com

  • Love goes for 20 and 11 in loss to Nuggets
Kevin Love went for 20 and 11 in Monday's loss to the Nuggets, hitting 7-of-13 shots (1-of-5 from deep, 5-of-6 from the line) with one assist and no defensive stats.

Advice: Love is still playing well below his ADP and it fits the narrative that the Cavs will take a while to gel. It's still buy low territory. Rotoworld.com

  • Chandler Parsons hits four treys on Monday
Chandler Parsons got hot against the Hornets on Monday with 17 points, nine rebounds, six assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Advice: His shooting numbers have been down and he came into tonight at just 40.0 percent from the field. Parsons is putting up plenty of stats elsewhere and there has been an upward trend in his stats as the year has gone along. He should be a top-50 player in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Asik (back) will not play against the Blazers
Omer Asik (back) will not play on Monday against the Blazers.

Lamarcus Aldridge (illness) will play on Monday night against the Pelicans.

  • James Johnson has a severe ankle sprain
James Johnson (ankle) has a severe ankle sprain and has no timetable to return.

Advice: He's played through a lot of injuries in his career, but it sounds like he's going to miss more time here. Terrence Ross should get more run at small forward while Patrick Patterson could also get a little more run. Rotoworld.com

  • James Johnson 'tender,' skips practice Monday
James Johnson (ankle) is "tender" and did not participate in Monday's practice.

Advice: Johnson is holding out hope he can prepare in time for the game on Wednesday, but it's unlikely the Raptors will put him out there at less than full strength. The good news is Johnson's ankle injury doesn't appear to be a major concern, but Dwane Casey admitted he has no idea how long the enigmatic forward will be out. If Johnson can't go, Terrence Ross and Amir Johnson could each see a few extra minutes with Landry Fields also picking up some scraps. Rotoworld.com

  • Kris Humphries coming on after hand injury
Kris Humphries is emerging as part of the Wizards' rotation after being initially slowed by his hand injury.

Advice: Humphries was dealing with nerve damage in his right hand that required surgery, and now he's really starting to play the role Washington envisioned upon acquiring him in a sign-and-trade during the offseason. "He goes in there and just bangs," Randy Wittman said. Rotoworld.com

  • LaMarcus Aldridge (illness) questionable Mon.
LaMarcus Aldridge (illness) was a limited participant during Sunday's practice, and is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: When Aldridge was asked about his illness, he responded: "I felt like death." If Aldridge misses Monday's game, expect Chris Kaman and Meyers Leonard to see some extended minutes. Thomas Robinson is also a candidate to earn some extra playing time, but he also picked up a DNP-CD during the Blazers' last game sans Aldridge. Kaman and Leonard are the most attractive plug-and-play options in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Brandan Wright makes all six from field
Brandan Wright made all six from the field for 13 points against the Wolves in an easy 131-117 win on Saturday with five rebounds, one assist and one block.

Advice: He's on a mission to lead the NBA in field goal percentage and he might be the favorite as long as he qualifies. Wright isn't going to be the best player on your fantasy team, but he's a solid contributor. He's worth owning in competitive standard leagues. Rotoworld.com
    Nov 15, 10:48 pm
  • Chris Copeland finally makes shots
Chris Copeland finally turned it around on Saturday against the Bulls, making 5-of-11 from the field for 12 points with one assist, one steal and three 3-pointers.

Advice: It wasn't a great line, but going 3-of-4 from beyond the arc had to feel good. Copeland is taking a whopping 7.5 treys per game and is scoring 14 per night, so he should have value in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com
    Nov 15, 8:34 pm
  • Luis Scola puts up huge line in Chicago
Luis Scola scored a season-high 21 points against the Bulls on Saturday with 11 boards, one steal and two blocks in 30 minutes.

Advice: He was absolutely terrible before today and didn't score more than eight in any of his previous four games while only playing 16.0 minutes per game in his last two. Scola doesn't have enough value right now and it'll get even worse once David West (ankle) is ready to return. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Favors shoots the ball well Saturday
Derrick Favors made 9-of-11 from the field for 18 points in a 111-93 loss to the Raptors on Saturday with six rebounds, two assists and one turnover.

Advice: He started fast, but the Raptors were clearly committed to keeping him in check in the second half. Favors has shot 9-of-11 in two of his last three games with a 21-12 double-double sandwiched in between. He's rolling for his fantasy owners. Rotoworld.com

  • Kris Humphries plays 26 minutes
Kris Humphries played 26 minutes off the bench against the Magic on Saturday with 16 points, six rebounds and one block.

Advice: It's his second game in a row with at least 25 minutes and he's created a nice little role for himself. Humphries has been the primary bench big man and is an option in deep leagues. He could also be a solid pickup if/when Nene goes down. Rotoworld.com

  • Nene scores 16 in 27 minutes on Sat.
Nene (shoulder) played 27 minutes against the Magic on Saturday with 16 points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks.

Advice: His shoulder injury was never considered serious and it didn't affect his playing time. Nene will wind up on the injury report more than most players, but he's a fairly reliable option in standard leagues while he's active. Rotoworld.com

  • LaMarcus Aldridge won't play on Saturday
LaMarcus Aldridge (illness) will not play against the Nets on Saturday.

Advice: He's been doubtful since leaving practice on Friday. Aldridge should be considered closer to probable for Monday against the Pelicans. The Blazers will use a combination of Thomas Robinson and Chris Kaman to fill the void. Coach Terry Stotts will announce his starter soon. Dorell Wright has also used more as a stretch four in previous instances. Rotoworld.com

  • LaMarcus Aldridge (illness) doubtful Saturday
LaMarcus Aldridge (illness) is listed as doubtful for Saturday's game.

Advice: He had to leave practice on Friday with an upper respiratory illness so it wouldn't be surprising to see the Blazers hold him out for this one. If LMA sits, Thomas Robinson is the most likely to see more minutes while Dorell Wright, who has been used as a stretch PF in the past, could also be in the mix. Check back before tip-off before deploying LMA in your lineup. Rotoworld.com

  • David West (ankle) inactive on Saturday
David West (ankle) is inactive for Saturday's game against the Bulls.

Advice: This news isn't surprising and he was never expected to suit up for this one. Luis Scola and Lavoy Allen will continue to fill the void for the Pacers in his absence. Rotoworld.com

  • Nene (shoulder) expected to play on Saturday
Nene (shoulder) is expected to play on Saturday vs. the Magic according to coach Randy Wittman.

Advice: He made it through two full practices and it looks like his shoulder isn't giving him too many problems. Though he is injury-prone, owners should continue to deploy him as usual, but check back before tip-off for any updates on his status. If Nene does end up sitting this one out, expect Kris Humphries and Drew Gooden to pick up the slack, but neither are reliable fantasy options. Rotoworld.com

  • Boozer nears 20 and 10 game in loss
Carlos Boozer scored 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting with eight rebounds and two steals in Friday's loss to the Spurs.

  • Motiejunas blocks two and steals two
Donatas Motiejunas blocked two shots and stole the ball twice to go with three points and seven boards over 31 minutes on Friday against the Sixers.

Advice: The opponent should be noted for their garbage brand of basketball and it should also be noted that Terrence Jones' leg injury isn't yet in the day-to-day realm. Motie's fantasy game is deficient in many areas and he's a desperation add while Jones is out, at best. Rotoworld.com

  • Favors goes for 21 and 12 with three blocks
Derrick Favors went for 21 and 12 with three blocks in Friday's road win over the Knicks.

  • Kanter plays 12 minutes against the Knicks
Enes Kanter played just 12 minutes against the Knicks on Friday, scoring six points with five rebounds and no steals or blocks.

Advice: So much for any momentum gained earlier in the week. The Knicks played small and unless there is some unknown injury it appears as if Quin Snyder simply went small, but it's not a great sign that Kanter's minutes are subject to this type of swing. Weigh out your options and consider a drop if you're looking at a hot free agent. Rotoworld.com
