  • GM: Giannis Antetokounmpo won't defend PGs
Bucks GM John Hammond said that Giannis Antetokounmpo will be "one of the [Bucks'] primary ball-handlers" this season, but he's unlikely to defend opposing point guards.

Advice: "There's a delicate balance," Hammond said. "Someone's gotta guard the point guard, and that's not gonna be Giannis." He went on to praise Michael Carter-Williams' defense, citing his length, speed and quickness, but all signs point to MCW coming off the bench to begin the season. No matter who he's guarding on the court, Antetokounmpo is poised for a monster fantasy campaign. Rotoworld.com Today, 5:54 pm
  • Henry Sims to play for Nets at Summer League
Free agent center Henry Sims will play for the Nets' Summer League team.

Advice: Sims earned a few 10-day deals with the Nets last season, but averaged just 6.5 points on 42.9 percent shooting in 18.8 minutes per game. His career averages are unimpressive and Sims won't be a standard-league asset no matter where he's playing next season. Rotoworld.com Today, 5:49 pm
  • Griffin wants to keep the Cavs group together
David Griffin said that he intends to keep the Cavs' core group together to see what they are capable of.

Advice: This won't stop the trade rumors from swirling around Kevin Love, and it wouldn't be surprising to see Love moved if the right deal came along, but this is also the second time a Cleveland official has alluded to keeping Love on the roster. Love produced top-40 value in 9-cat leagues this past season behind averages of 16.0 points, 9.9 boards, 2.4 assists and 2.1 triples per contest, so he'll be worth an early mid-round selection on draft day if he does indeed remain with the Cavs. Rotoworld.com Today, 3:45 pm
  • Jeremy Lin 'open' to a return to the Knicks
Jeremy Lin said that he's "open" to returning to the Knicks, although he doesn't feel it's very likely that it will happen.

Advice: "It’s not looking likely, because they just traded for Derrick Rose," Lin said. "But I will say, ever since I left I’ve been open to going back, and I still am. Never say never. That’s the one thing in the NBA. Never say never. So I’ve always been open, but right now, I’m not sure it’s the best timing." Lin will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason, but the Knicks wouldn't be a great fit, particularly with playing time being one of the more important things for him. • Marco Belinelli (eye) requires hospital visit
Marco Belinelli went to the hospital after being hit in the left eye during an exhibition game for Team Italy on Sunday.

Advice: Currently there aren't any additional details regarding Belinelli's eye, although a hospital visit indicates that he could be dealing with a significant injury. A worst-case scenario here would likely be an orbital fracture, and while that would likely force Belinelli out of the Olympics, he'd still have plenty of time to recover for the 2016-17 season. Rotoworld.com Today, 2:03 pm
  • Grizzlies claim Tony Wroten off waivers
The Grizzlies have claimed G Tony Wroten off waivers.

Advice: Wroten will be returning to the team that drafted him, and things have reportedly been going well in his recovery from a partially torn ACL. It's unlikely that Wroten can establish himself as a standard league asset during the 2016-17 season. The Wroten signing could spell the end of Xavier Munford's time in Memphis. • Whiteside hopes to make a decision by July 1
Hassan Whiteside said that he hopes that he'll be able to make his free agent decision by July 1.

Advice: Whiteside is going to receive plenty of max offers as an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and some of those max deals will likely come via the Lakers and Mavericks. Miami won't be able to offer him as much money as the aforementioned clubs, and while Whiteside acknowledged that not having a state tax in Miami will factor into his decision, he also understands that he could get traded which makes signing at a discount a risky endeavor. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:11 pm
  • Marco Belinelli (eye) exits exhibition game
Marco Belinelli was forced to exit Sunday's exhibition game between Team Canada and Team Italy after suffering an apparent left eye injury.

Advice: Belinelli not returning to the court for an exhibition game doesn't mean much, and there's really no way this injury will impact his status for the 2016-17 season. Belinelli is going to be a backup in Charlotte, so he won't be worth drafting in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Today, 1:00 pm
  • GS & MIA most likely landing spots for KD?
Golden State and Miami will be the most likely landing spots for Kevin Durant should he choose to leave Oklahoma City as a free agent, according to an agent speaking on the condition of anonymity.

Advice: "Golden State and Miami become the only real players," the agent said. "It's too hard to justify a move to Los Angeles [Lakers] or New York because they are not close to winning. Houston's out." To be clear, this is just the viewpoint of another agent in the NBA, and this agent does not have any direct knowledge regarding Durant's decision making. That being said, the logic here is sound, as it wouldn't make much sense for KD to opt to go through a rebuild at age-27 having never won a championship. Rotoworld.com Today, 12:00 pm
  • John Wall (knees) says he's ahead of schedule
John Wall said that he's ahead of schedule in his recovery from surgeries to his left and right knee, and he expects to be able to run at full speed by the end of July.

Advice: "This week I can start doing a little bit of running, like jogging and stuff like that," said Wall. "Probably not until the end of July I can really start having full out sprints and stuff. Start really working out. I can start doing basketball drills and stuff like that. I can stand up now. I just can’t change directions and cut." Wall is on track to be ready for training camp, although he's made it clear that he will not rush his recovery. Either way, he should be good to go when the 2016-17 season kicks off, and he'll be worth an early-round selection on draft day. Rotoworld.com Today, 11:37 am
  • Murder charges against Eric Griffin dropped
The attempted murder charges against Eric Griffin have been dropped.

Advice: Griffin was falsely accused and has now been vindicated and he's eager to put this whole mess behind him. He's been trying to make an NBA squad since 2012, but has never hung on past training camp. Rotoworld.com Today, 11:24 am
  • Looney hopes to be ready for training camp
The goal for Kevon Looney (hip surgery) is to be ready in time for training camp.

Advice: He won't play in the summer league, but this report means he could be ready for the start of the 2016-17 season. He had surgery back in April and was given a 4-6 month timetable, but it sounds like he's progressing well. It's too early to tell if Looney will have a chance to crack the rotation next season, as the Warriors are going to be very aggressive in free agency. Rotoworld.com Today, 10:20 am
  • Vlade Divac open to re-signing Rondo
Kings GM Vlade Divac said that he's open to the idea of re-signing Rajon Rondo this summer.

Advice: The Kings may not have a choice with Darren Collison in legal trouble. They didn't add a guard in the first round of the draft and there aren't many good options at point guard in free agency apart from Mike Conley. Marc Stein of ESPN reported that Rondo has interest in re-signing with the Kings or playing for the Brooklyn Nets, so this could turn into a bidding war. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:39 am
  • Trey Lyles will play in the summer league
Trey Lyles will play in the summer league.

Advice: He showed some serious skill after the All-Star break and finished the season on a high note, averaging 12.9 points, 5.4 points, 1.1 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.6 treys through seven appearances in April. Trevor Booker is a free agent, so Lyles will likely be the first big off Utah's bench next season. He's firmly on the radar in standard leagues and should already be owned in dynasty formats. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:31 am
  • Jabari Brown will play summer league for LAL
Jabari Brown will play for the Lakers during the summer league.

Advice: "I’m just trying to be positive and hope that something works out," Brown said. "I just need a team that believes in me." He spent last season in China before coming back to the states to play for the D-Fenders in the D-League. With a strong performance this summer, Brown could earn a spot on the Lakers' training camp roster. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:10 am
  • WAS, BOS and MIA linked to Al Horford
The Wizards, Celtics and Heat are expected to pursue Al Horford this summer.

Advice: In case you missed it, ESPN's Marc Stein reported earlier in the week that the Magic, Lakers and Pistons will also be in the mix to sign Horford. The Hawks have made it clear that their top priority is to re-sign the big man, but with so many teams interested, it will likely take a max offer to keep him. Rotoworld.com Today, 9:04 am
  • James Young likely to play in summer league
James Young is expected to play in the summer league.

Advice: His roster spot with the Celtics is in jeopardy because he hasn't improved much since joining the NBA, so this a huge summer for Young. The Celtics drafted Jaylen Brown with the third pick, so the path to minutes on the wings just got even more difficult for Young. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:30 am
  • Jazz might move Shelvin Mack?
The Jazz might look to trade Shelvin Mack, Trey Burke and/or Raul Neto this summer.

Advice: The Jazz have a serious logjam at point guard and this report makes sense because George Hill and Dante Exum (knee) will likely get the bulk of the PG minutes. The Jazz are still expected to exercise their player option on Mack for the 2016-17 season, but Mack likely has more trade value than both Burke and Neto. It's tough to imagine Mack having fantasy value if he stays in Utah. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:23 am
  • Alec Burks expected to be ready for camp
Alec Burks (knee, ankle) is expected to be healthy for training camp.

Advice: He had arthroscopic surgery to clean out debris in his left knee and ankle in early June, but it was said to be a minor procedure. Burks has had some tough luck with injuries in his career, and the addition of George Hill and return of Dante Exum (knee) from injury means that his minutes could take a hit next season. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:18 am
  • Kevin Durant to also meet with Knicks?
The Knicks are expected to get an opportunity to sit down with Kevin Durant.

Advice: The Lakers and Wizards have reportedly been crossed off Durant's list, but the Knicks' chances of signing him are still slim to none. The Thunder are still said to be the favorites to re-sign him, with the Warriors and Spurs next in line. In addition to those teams, the Clippers, Celtics and Heat are also expected to meet with Durant. Rotoworld.com Today, 8:11 am
  • Report: Joakim Noah is the Knicks' top target
According to the New York Post, Joakim Noah is the Knicks' top target in free agency.

Advice: We already know that Derrick Rose is going to recruit him, and New York obviously needs a starting center after trading away Robin Lopez to the Bulls. Noah has also been linked to the Wolves, but the Knicks have plenty of cap space and it sounds like they are going to aggressively pursue him on July 1. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:57 am
  • Bulls might trade Mike Dunleavy?
ESPN's Nick Friedell says that the Bulls might look to move Mike Dunleavy in the coming weeks.

Advice: In case you missed it, Taj Gibson could also be on the move as the Bulls look to restructure their roster. Dunleavy is on the books for $4.8 million next season, but the Bulls probably wouldn't get much in return for the veteran sharpshooter. Doug McDermott should see more minutes on the wings if Dunleavy is moved. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:50 am
  • Bulls might look to trade Taj Gibson?
According to ESPN's Nick Friedell, Taj Gibson could be traded in the coming weeks.

Advice: With the Bulls rebuilding, this isn't a surprise and it's no secret that Chicago has listened to offers for Gibson in the past. He has just one year left on his deal that will pay him nearly $9 million, but he should have some value around the league. If the Bulls end up trading him, Bobby Portis' fantasy value would get a bump along with Nikola Mirotic. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:43 am
  • Olivier Hanlan will play in summer league
Olivier Hanlan will play for the Jazz during the summer league.

Advice: The former second round pick has one year left on his deal with Zalgiris Kaunas in Lithuania, but the Jazz will be able to see how much his game has developed during the summer league. The Jazz have plenty of depth at guard anyways, so Hanlan is not on the fantasy radar. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:36 am
  • Motiejunas says back still isn't 100 percent
Donatas Motiejunas said he likely won't play for Lithuania in the Olympics because his back still isn't 100 percent.

Advice: "The specialists told me that it is necessary to strengthen it and I have to make specific exercises," Motiejunas said. "I still hope to play for Lithuania but I am aware that I may not play for the National Team." His back has been a major red flag for a while now and it's not a great sign that it's still bothering him two months after the Rockets' season ended. If anything, the durability issues should keep his price down as he enters restricted free agency. Rotoworld.com Today, 7:01 am
  • Gar Forman says Bulls are high on Grant
Bulls GM Gar Forman said that the franchise is high on Jerian Grant.

Advice: A report by the Chicago Tribune indicated that Jose Calderon will likely be the penciled-in starter, but Grant should be able to at least compete for the starting job. He didn't get much of a chance in New York, but Grant has a great opportunity in front of him with the Bulls rebuilding for the future. He will play in the summer league, but he will need to have a dominant performance to emerge on the fantasy radar. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:52 am
  • Kings linked to UFA Courtney Lee
The Kings are interested in free agent shooting guard Courtney Lee according to Kings Insider James Ham.

Advice: The Kings could use an upgrade at shooting guard and Ben McLemore is rumored to be available in trade talks, so Lee would make sense. Coach Dave Joerger is said to be a fan of Lee and obviously coached him in Memphis, but it's unclear if the interest is mutual. The Hornets traded for Marco Belinelli which might mean they're preparing to lose Lee in free agency, as he will reportedly demand around $10 million per season. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:37 am
  • Kevin Love turns down Team USA offer
Kevin Love declined an invite to play for Team USA at the Olympics this summer.

Advice: He simply wants to rest up after Cleveland's long playoff run. Love didn't play well in the NBA Finals, but he made up for it with a nice performance in Game 7. It would be a surprise if the Cavs didn't bring back most of their championship roster and coach Tyronn Lue said that Love will be a Cavalier next season, but that won't keep Love's name from popping up in the rumor mill this summer. Rotoworld.com Today, 6:12 am
  • Lakers, Wizards not likely to meet with KD
The Wizards and Lakers are not expected to land a meeting with Kevin Durant, according to Sam Amick of USA Today.

Advice: Amick adds the Lakers "have a way of at least getting a meeting" based on their past, but it's not looking good. Both the Lakers and Wizards have spent some time hoping they would be able to land the former MVP, but at least now they can focus on other players and possibly make some signings while KD is making up his mind. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 4:31 pm
  • ESPN: Lakers to aggressively pursue Whiteside
The Lakers plan to "aggressively pursue" Hassan Whiteside in free agency, according to ESPN's Marc Stein and Ramona Shelburne.

Advice: In other words, it sounds like they might offer him a max contract. The Lakers have a gaping hole at center with Julius Randle logging the overwhelming majority of his minutes at power forward, so they will be investing most of their cap space on a center. The Heat have made him their top priority and are likely the frontrunner to have him next year. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 11:22 am
  • Woj: BOS, LAC & MIA could get KD meetings
Kevin Durant’s representatives "are working to solidify invitations" with the Celtics, Warriors, Clippers, Heat, Spurs and Thunder, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical.

Advice: According to the report, the meetings are expected to take place in New York, but teams are still awaiting on the specific location. Wojnarowski adds the Thunder are still the frontrunners for a one-plus-one-year deal to allow Durant to hit free agency for the big salary cap rise in 2017. Wojnarowski also said the Warriors "have Durant's attention." Lastly, the report adds Durant is expected to take a tour to the Far East on July 9 and should have a decision before then. OK, everybody got that? Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:24 pm
  • ESPN: OKC, GSW & SA get first crack at Durant
The Warriors, Spurs and Thunder are the first three known teams to have recruiting meetings with Kevin Durant, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Advice: It's going to be very interesting to see how Durant reacts to the Serge Ibaka trade. If he stays with OKC, he'll certainly be playing a lot more power forward. The Warriors and Spurs both can clear out some money to bring on Durant, especially with the salary cap rising to $94 million next year. Get ready for a lot of rumors. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:24 pm
  • Wizards will not offer Noah a max deal
The Wizards will not offer Joakim Noah a max contract, according to J. Michael of CSN.

Advice: There was an earlier report today saying the Wizards were considering it, but it didn't make sense given their roster and the market value of Noah. The Wizards will likely look for a cheaper backup behind Marcin Gortat. Rotoworld.com Friday, 3:42 pm
  • Derrick Rose wants to play with Joakim Noah
Derrick Rose said he wants to play with Joakim Noah.

Advice: "I want him," Rose said. "He knows that. I think his family knows that. I think everyone knows that." This isn't exactly a secret and the Knicks may have been after Noah even before the Rose deal. Plus, losing Robin Lopez makes getting a center a top priority for them. There is a report of the Wizards in on Noah, but they don't need him nearly as much as the Knicks do. Rotoworld.com Friday, 1:24 pm
  • Warriors eyeing Noah and Horford?
According to Mercury News, the Warriors will look at Al Horford and Joakim Noah in free agency.

Advice: Noah will be the cheaper option, but both players would give the Warriors an upgrade at center. The report also adds that Hassan Whiteside could even be an option. The Warriors are obviously going to make Kevin Durant their No. 1 priority, and they will likely have to move on from Harrison Barnes and Festus Ezeli to have a shot at any of these big names. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:31 am
  • Hassan Whiteside still prefers Heat?
Hassan Whiteside reportedly would prefer to stay with the Heat if it works out financially.

Advice: Translation: Whiteside will stay with the Heat if they offer him a max deal. The Mavs have reportedly made Whiteside one of their top free agency targets, while teams such as the Lakers and Blazers have also been linked with the big man. With the salary cap jumping up to $94 million, Whiteside is going to get his max deal. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:01 am
  • Report: Rondo interested in Kings and Nets
Rajon Rondo has interest in re-signing with the Kings or playing for the Brooklyn Nets, a source told ESPN's Marc Stein.

Advice: Per Spears, Rondo also had some interest in joining the New York Knicks, but the Derrick Rose acquisition kills that potential suitor. Regardless of where Rondo signs his next contract, he's likely going to have to take another "prove it" kind of deal like the one-year contract he signed prior to the 2015-16 season with Sacramento. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:09 pm
  • Kings trade Marco Belinelli to CHA for No. 22
The Kings are trading Marco Belinelli to Charlotte for the No. 22 pick in the 2016 draft.

Advice: Belinelli took a public swipe at the Kings in May, saying that he wants to win now, and "to make that happen, something has to happen." It's a fine haul for the Kings, who open up more minutes for Ben McLemore and Seth Curry, while acquiring a valuable pick, but Charlotte's reasoning isn't as clear. Belinelli is owed a guaranteed $12.9 million over the next two seasons and could claim a significant role in Charlotte's backcourt, but he's a very dubious fantasy asset. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 3:52 pm
  • Jerian Grant to play in Summer League
Jerian Grant will play in Summer League for the Bulls next month.

Advice: He wasn't very good at Summer League last year and struggled in his rookie season. Grant has the inside track to be the team's starting point guard and he should have a ton of responsibility in Vegas. He'll really need to show some improvement to warrant anything more than a late-round pick in standard drafts. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 3:45 pm
  • Report: Mavs will go after Whiteside, Conley
The Mavs have reportedly made Hassan Whiteside and Mike Conley their top two free agency targets.

Advice: The Mavs expect to be granted a meeting with Whiteside during the early hours of free agency, and while Whiteside's preference would be to remain with Miami, other teams around the league will be able to offer him significantly more money (assuming Chris Bosh doesn't retire). Whiteside should be able to rack up first-round value regardless of his jersey. A Conley signing in Dallas would queue the end of Deron Williams' tenure with the Mavs. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 2:06 pm
  • Report: Knicks will pursue Kevin Durant as FA
Phil Jackson reportedly told Derrick Rose that the team will go after Kevin Durant as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Advice: It's a tough sell for Jackson, as he'll be asking Durant to leave a team that was one win away from an NBA Finals berth for a club that has failed to make the postseason for three years running, but hey, it doesn't hurt to try. There will be roughly 28 other teams vying for Durant's services this summer, but most signs point to him remaining with OKC, at least on a two-year deal with an opt out on Year-2. The Dubs are also rumored to be a realistic landing spot should KD leave OKC. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:55 am
  • Knicks may make a run at Joakim Noah
There are members of the Knicks organization who would like to sign Joakim Noah, according to Ian Begley of ESPN.

Advice: Noah should receive some interest as an unrestricted free agent now that he's recovered from a shoulder tear and would make a lot of sense for the Knicks. The 31-year-old's best days are behind him, but he's just two years removed from winning a Defensive Player of the Year Award and will be worth a late-round pick in standard fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 7:35 am
  • Jeremy Lin opts for unrestricted free agency
Jeremy Lin declined to pick up his player option for 2016-17, making him an unrestricted free agent as of July 1.

Advice: It was already reported that Lin would opt for free agency, so this merely confirms his decision. Addressing his priorities as a free agent earlier this month, Lin said, "To be happy, I need to consider a few things. Of course I am going to consider who is coaching the team, the team’s style, the players on the team and their chance of winning, as well as the on-court time I have and if I have a chance to start." A starting job might be feasible but there are copious teams in need of backcourt depth, so Lin should have no lack of suitors. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:22 pm
  • Knicks waive Tony Wroten
    Knicks waive G Tony Wroten.

Advice: Wroten is extremely athletic and is a very highly-used player, but the turnovers and bad shots are tough for him to overcome. He'll likely get a camp invite somewhere, but he's no lock to make an NBA roster next year. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 1:06 pm
  • Stein: Hawks trying to trade 2 first-rounders
The Hawks will try to trade their two first-rounders to make re-signing Al Horford easier.

Advice: Interesting. The Hawks picked up the No. 12 pick in the Jeff Teague deal on Wednesday. The Hawks also traded their No. 19 pick in a basically salary dump, so this isn't a new trick for them. Horford might actually be on board with staying, and the Hawks making a trade on Thursday would be very revealing. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 12:38 pm
  • Jerian Grant traded to Bulls in 5-player deal
Jerian Grant has been traded to the Bulls as part of Wednesday's five-player deal with the Knicks.

Advice: Grant's fantasy value hinges upon what the Bulls' backcourt looks like on opening night -- as of now he faces competition from Spencer Dinwiddie and Jose Calderon. Grant averaged 5.6 points, 1.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 0.7 steals in just 16.6 minutes per game as a rookie, but he'll need to improve his 39.4 percent shooting to emerge as a fantasy asset. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 12:25 pm
  • Tyronn Lue says Kevin Love will remain in CLE
Tyronn Lue said that Kevin Love will remain with the Cavs next season.

Advice: The Warriors presented a tough matchup for Kevin Love, and because of that, he struggled through much of the Finals. However, he had plenty of good games through Cleveland's postseason run, and given that the Cavs still were able to realize their ultimate goal of taking the Larry O'Brien trophy to Cleveland, perhaps he remains a Cavalier next season. Still, there should be a number of teams that will throw out some trade offers, and if the right one comes along, it's not like Love is untouchable. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:56 am
  • Report: ORL, LAL, DET will pursue Al Horford
The Magic, Lakers and Pistons will reportedly go after Al Horford as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Advice: Horford is going to command plenty of attention as a free agent this offseason, so there's sure to be plenty more names added to this list. The Pistons seem like a bit of a strange fit with Marcus Morris, Tobias Harris and Andre Drummond already on the roster, and while the Lakers will be able to offer the prestige of a historic franchise, it's unclear if Horford is at all interested in going through a rebuild. The Magic also don't seem like a realistic option given where Horford is at in his career. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 5:27 am
  • Kevin Love still receiving trade interest
Teams around the NBA are reportedly still very interested in trading for Kevin Love.

Advice: While it's unclear if the Cavs have any interest in trading Love, a rival executive doesn't think Cleveland will be in any rush to discuss potential moves. "There’s going to be some wishful thinking involved," the executive said. "Anyone’s going to listen to offers and some of those might come out in public. But they’re just offers. It doesn’t mean it is coming from Cleveland." While we may see Love on the move this summer, it doesn't sound like any potential deal will happen until after the Olympics in August. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:01 am
  • Warriors still hoping to land Kevin Durant
The Warriors are reportedly going to make Kevin Durant their top offseason priority this summer.

Advice: It would be a surprise to see Durant pass up millions by not re-signing with Oklahoma City, though the Warriors may represent the best shot at a title for the 27-year-old. While the Warriors will have plenty of company as they vie for Durant's services, we'll keep a close eye on this situation as Golden State's pitch to Durant could prove too tempting to pass up. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:17 am
  • Kevin Durant will play for Team USA
Kevin Durant confirmed on Monday that he will play for Team USA this summer.

Advice: This is huge for Team USA because they just learned that LeBron James will likely take the summer off along with Stephen Curry, James Harden, Chris Paul and Russell Westbrook. As of right now, Paul George, Draymond Green, DeMarcus Cousins, Klay Thompson, Kyrie Irving and Kawhi Leonard are considered to be the only locks to join Durant on Team USA. Rotoworld.com Jun 20, 10:55 am
  • Rajon Rondo says that he is 'very healthy'
In an interview with the Boston Globe, Rajon Rondo said that he is "very healthy."

Advice: "Obviously it didn’t go the way we wanted it as an exit [missing the playoffs] but I was able to bounce back, I believe," Rondo said. "I am very healthy. I’ve been working extremely hard on my body and my game. I’m 30 years old and I feel great." Rondo battled through several different injuries down the stretch of the season and he did pick up some DNPs, but it's worth noting that the Kings were also tanking a little bit. Several teams around the NBA could use an upgrade at point guard, so Rondo should have a decent market in free agency. Rotoworld.com Jun 20, 7:55 am
  • Kevin Love steps up in Finals-clinching win
Kevin Love was aggressive throughout the Cavs' Game 7 win on Sunday, finishing with a team-high 14 rebounds to go along with nine points, three assists, two steals and one turnover in 30 minutes of action.

Advice: Love's lack of production was a major sub-plot in the Finals, but he flipped the script tonight with impressive work on the boards, a few timely buckets, and some clutch defense against Steph Curry late in the waning moments of the fourth quarter. Love is owed $93.5 million over the next four seasons, and despite this Game 7 performance it's likely that his name will surface in trade rumors this offseason. Rotoworld.com Jun 19, 8:28 pm
  • Lue expects big game from Kevin Love
Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue expects Kevin Love to have a big game on Sunday.

Advice: "He's going to have a big game for us tomorrow, I believe," Lue said before Saturday's practice. "It's all about matchups. It's all about staying on the floor, being out of foul trouble, and I have no problem with Kevin. He's going to be fine." After averaging 16.0 points and 9.9 rebounds during the regular season, Love has been a ghost in the Finals with averages of 8.4 points and 5.4 rebounds on 37 percent shooting from the field. • Ford: Looney will make full recovery
ESPN's Chad Ford said that the Warriors are confident that Kevon Looney (hip surgery) will come back at full strength.

Advice: Ford didn't give many details, but he did hear that the surgery was a success. We already know that Looney won't play in the summer league, but it's possible that he could miss part of training camp as well. He had surgery back in April and was given a 4-6 month timetable. • Kevin Love plays just 12 minutes in win
Kevin Love scored seven points with three rebounds, two assists and one turnover in just 12 minutes on Thursday.

Advice: Say what? This is the same Kevin Love that led the NBA in double-doubles during his last year with the Wolves and only three players had more triple-doubles than him that year, too. He is probably not going to start in Game 7 and is pretty much useless in this series. Rotoworld.com Jun 16, 9:07 pm
  • Dudley doesn't think Durant will be a Wizard
Jared Dudley said that he doesn't think the Wizards have a realistic shot of nabbing Kevin Durant as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Advice: "I realistically don’t [see KD signing with Washington]" Dudley said. "I hope for the fans they do, because he’s from there, and he would bring such excitement… I don’t see it though." Dudley reasoned that he doesn't see Durant leaving money on the table to join another club, and his opinion does carry a bit more weight given that he's currently under contract in Washington. Just about every team in the league will make a pitch to KD as a free agent, but after OKC nearly knocked off the champs in the Western Conference Finals, it would be surprising to see him go elsewhere.
