    • Bench role in the cards for Klay Thompson?
Warriors coach Steve Kerr mentioned the possibility of Klay Thompson coming off the bench should he remain with the team during his end-of-season press conference.

Advice: Thompson’s 2023-24 season came to a brutal end, as he missed all ten field goal attempts and went scoreless in Tuesday’s Play-In tournament loss to the Kings. The veteran guard, one of the all-time great shooters in NBA history, will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer. And a return to the Warriors could depend on how amenable he is to coming off the bench, which is what happened this season. “I thought Klay really showed that he was agreeable to the sixth-man role the second half of the year, even though eventually we put him back in the starting lineup,” Kerr, who noted that the team needs to add more shooting to the roster this offseason, said. “I think that’s got to be an option going forward. I would prefer not to play him 35 minutes.” Thompson’s future in the Bay Area, beginning with whether or not he’ll re-sign with the team, impacts multiple Warriors, including Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody. • Struggles from three in win
Harris registered nine points (4-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 10 rebounds and four assists over 33 minutes during Wednesday's 105-104 Play-In Game victory over the Heat.

Advice: Harris struggled to get his shot going Wednesday and was outperformed by Nicolas Batum, who came off the bench and added 20 points and five rebounds on 6-for-10 shooting from the perimeter. Harris' inefficiency from deep has been a constant problem this season, as his 35.8 percent three-point percentage has been his worst mark since 2016-17. Since the All-Star break, the 31-year-old has averaged 15.7 points and 7.6 rebounds on 35.4 percent from three, which could be a consequence of an uptick in playing time from Joel Embiid's (knee) absence. • Paces team in scoring in loss
Herro registered 25 points (9-27 FG, 4-14 3Pt, 3-3 FT), two rebounds and nine assists over 41 minutes during Wednesday's 105-104 Play-In Game loss to Philadelphia.

Advice: Although Herro needed 27 shots to score 25 shots, the uptick in usage rate happened largely due to Jimmy Butler suffering a knee injury in the first quarter, which limited him considerably, and Bam Adebayo had a rough matchup with Joel Embiid. Herro has reached the 20-point mark in four of his last six outings, and considering Butler will miss Friday's win-or-go-home matchup against the Bulls, Herro should be in line for another heavy usage rate against Chicago. • Tyler Herro leads Heat with 25/2/9 line in loss
Tyler Herro led Miami with 25 points (9-of-27 FGs), two rebounds, nine assists and five turnovers against Philadelphia on Wednesday.

Advice: Miami’s two best scoring options in Herro and Jimmy Butler both struggled to score in this game as they shot a combined 14-of-45 from the floor. Herro suited up for the final six games after missing over a month with a foot injury, but he was an effective, efficient scorer in all of those. He’ll look to get back on track against either Chicago or Atlanta on Friday, with a chance to make the playoffs on the line. If they win, they’ll go on to face the Celtics in round one. • Ice cold in loss
Thompson produced zero points (0-10 FG, 0-6 3Pt), four rebounds and one assist over 32 minutes during Tuesday's 118-94 Play-In Game loss to the Kings.

Advice: Thompson turned in arguably his worst performance of the season as the Warriors' disappointing season came to an end at the hands of the Kings. Despite a few bright spots throughout the year, it appears Thompson's days of being a reliable offensive threat could be behind him. His future remains a little clouded, but no matter where he is next season, it is unlikely he will have much fantasy value outside of points and threes. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:56 pm
    • End of the road? Klay Thompson goes scoreless
Klay Thompson missed all 10 of his shots in Tuesday’s 118-94 loss to the Kings, going scoreless with four rebounds and one assist in 32 minutes.

Advice: If Tuesday’s game happens to be the last Thompson plays as a member of the Warriors, this was a brutal way for him to go out. For the first time in his NBA career, Klay went scoreless in a game he logged at least 12 minutes in. While there were some struggles for him throughout this season, Tuesday was uncharacteristically bad. After providing top-75 per-game value in 2022-23, the expectation was that Thompson would do the same in 2023-24. He wasn’t a terrible fantasy asset, but the top 100 value in 9-cat formats did not match his ADP (75.4). Klay will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer, and the question is what his role will look like with the Warriors (or another team). Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:26 pm
    • Stephen Curry scores team-high 22 points vs. Kings
Stephen Curry shot 8-of-16 from the field and 3-of-3 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 118-94 loss to the Kings, scoring 22 points with four rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block, and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

Advice: Curry’s 15th NBA season came to a disappointing end, even though he led the Warriors in scoring. Six turnovers countered the shooting percentages, and the Warriors committed 16. Looking ahead to next season, Curry is one of the few “sure things” on the roster. Beginning the 2023-24 campaign with a Yahoo ADP of 6.7, he ranked within the top 20 in 8-cat formats and the top 25 in 9-cat. Whether or not Curry is worthy of being selected with a top-10 pick in drafts will depend partially on what the Warriors’ overall roster looks like. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:02 pm
    • Domantas Sabonis posts 16/12/7/2/1 line vs. GSW
Domantas Sabonis finished Tuesday’s 118-94 win over the Warriors with 16 points (7-of-14 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 12 rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in 37 minutes.

Advice: Sabonis and the Kings are one step closer to a second straight playoff berth, as they took advantage of offensive rebounds and Warriors turnovers to keep their season alive. The NBA leader in double-doubles recorded another on Tuesday, finishing three assists shy of a triple-double. Also, Sabonis only committed one turnover in his 37 minutes on the floor. The Kings will visit New Orleans on Friday, with the winner receiving the West’s No. 8-seed. New Orleans won all five regular-season meetings by an average of 19.0 points. Rotoworld Tuesday, 9:55 pm
    • Removed from injury report
Curry (ankle) does not carry an injury designation into Tuesday's Play-In Tournament game against Sacramento.

Advice: Curry and Draymond Green (knee) have both been cleared for action Tuesday, leaving Gary Payton (calf) as the Warriors' lone absence. Golden State will be traveling to Sacramento for Tuesday's showdown, returning to the scene of the crime where Curry dropped 50 points (20-38 FG, 7-18 3Pt) in a victorious Game 7 of last year's first-round series between these teams. Additionally, Curry averaged 31.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists in four games against the Kings this season. Rotowire.com Monday, 4:50 pm
