      Advice: Although Haliburton's former reputation as a prolific scorer has faded throughout the season, his skill as a facilitator is as strong as ever. The Pacers could use a dose of Haliburton's former shot volume as they attempt to advance, but recent trends show that big scoring numbers for the guard may not be coming.       Tyrese Haliburton finished Tuesday’s 125-108 win over the Bucks with 12 points (4-of-10 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, 12 assists, one steal, one block, and three 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

      Advice: While Haliburton’s scoring production remained below his usual standard in Game 2, he was much more impactful as a playmaker. The All-Star point guard dished out 12 helpers in the Pacers’ victory after accumulating eight in Game 1. Indiana won Game 2 in the paint, scoring 52 of its 125 points in that area.     • Devin Booker leads Phoenix with 18 points Tuesday
      Devin Booker logged 42 minutes in Tuesday’s 105-93 loss to the Timberwolves, accumulating 20 points (6-of-13 FGs, 7-of-8 FTs), three rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer.

      Advice: Booker fouled out of Game 2, but the outcome was no longer in doubt at that point. He did lead the Suns in scoring, but, as was the case in the series opener on Saturday, efficiency was a problem. Booker committing six turnovers was more concerning than the field-goal percentage, with the Suns recording 19 as a team. Bradley Beal wasn’t much better, as he was responsible for four to go along with 14 points (6-of-17 FGs), four rebounds, six assists, and two 3-pointers in 42 minutes.       Porter totaled 22 points (8-13 FG, 6-10 3Pt), nine rebounds, one assist and two steals in 38 minutes during Monday's 101-99 victory over the Lakers in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

      Advice: Porter sniffed a double-double for the second consecutive game after delivering a 19-point, eight-rebound effort in Game 1 on Saturday, and the forward continues to impact both ends of the court for Denver. Even though he doesn't get the same attention as Nikola Jokic or Jamal Murray, Porter is a key piece in the Nuggets' offensive scheme, and he's averaging 16.2 points with 7.3 rebounds per game in April, including regular-season contests.       Advice: While Jamal Murray got hot in the fourth quarter, he shot 3-of-16 from the field in the first three periods of Game 2. Porter was one of the Nuggets who helped keep the team afloat, as Denver trailed by as much as 20 before rallying to take a 2-0 series lead. With the amount of attention the Lakers devote to Murray and Nikola Jokic, Porter and Aaron Gordon (14/7/3 in 40 minutes) will have opportunities to score.       Advice: Haliburton managed just nine points in the Game 1 loss, with the Bucks doing a great job containing his offensive prowess. The two teams will face off again Tuesday, and should the Pacers hope to head home with the series tied at 1-1, they are going to need Haliburton to be more aggressive on the offensive end of the floor.       Advice: Haliburton recorded a full stat line in his playoff debut, but his offensive impact was limited. He attempted seven shots, six fewer than backup point guard T.J. McConnell, who finished with 10 points, two rebounds, and one assist. Part of that was by design, as the Bucks aggressively denied Haliburton opportunities to operate in the open floor.       Advice: Minnesota’s significant adjustment from Sunday’s regular-season finale was to pick up the Suns’ guards full court to exploit the team’s lack of a “traditional” point guard. While Booker only committed one turnover, the approach threw him off his rhythm offensively. The Suns don’t have a reliable point guard to potentially step in for Grayson Allen (ankle) if he can’t play in Tuesday’s Game 2, so it will be on Booker (and Bradley Beal) to shift the momentum after a disappointing Game 1.       Advice: Booker shot a perfect mark from the free-throw line and ended second on the team in scoring to go along with a handful of assists. Booker entered the postseason with three straight games of 20 or more points, adding five or more assists in two of those outings. He has gotten to the line often for Phoenix as of late, ending the regular season with five or more made free throws in 11 straight contests.
