      Jalen Brunson shot 13-of-27 from the field and 12-of-16 from the foul line in Thursday’s 118-115 win over Philadelphia, scoring 41 points with three rebounds, 12 assists, and three 3-pointers in 44 minutes.

      Advice: After a crushing home loss in Game 5, Brunson and the Knicks showed impressive mental fortitude to end the series in six games. The All-Star point guard became the first player since Oscar Robertson in 1973 to have three games with at least 35 points and 10 assists. He’s also the first player to score at least 37 in four straight playoff games since Michael Jordan in 1993. Due to their ending the series on Thursday instead of needing a seventh game on Saturday, the Knicks will get valuable time off before their second-round series against the Pacers.       Obi Toppin was outstanding in Thursday’s 120-98 win over the Bucks, finishing with 21 points (8-of-15 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, one block, and three 3-pointers in 24 minutes.

      Advice: The Pacers are off to the second round after eliminating Milwaukee in six games, and Toppin was a massive factor in Game 6. A double-digit scorer in the series’ final four games, the fourth-year forward scored a team-high 21 points in Game 6. Toppin’s production was critical, as Indiana’s starting frontcourt struggled with fouls. Pascal Siakam (19/7/4/1 with one 3-pointer) and Myles Turner (5/5/1/0/1) were whistled for four fouls, while Aaron Nesmith (15/3/1 with three 3-pointers) picked up five. Indiana’s depth was a significant factor in the first round, and that could also be the case in the second, whether they get New York or Philadelphia. Game 1 is on Monday night. Toppin has been stellar off the bench this postseason but posted his best outing of the playoffs thus far in the series-clinching victory.       Brook Lopez logged 31 minutes in Thursday’s 120-98 loss to the Pacers, accounting for 20 points (7-of-12 FGs, 6-of-9 FTs), five rebounds, and one assist.

      Advice: While Lopez thoroughly outplayed Myles Turner in Game 6, it didn’t matter because Indiana had a far superior bench. The veteran center shot 50% or better from the field in all six games, scoring at least 20 points in three. To say this was a brutal ending for a team with championship ambitions would be an understatement. Lopez isn’t a “sexy” fantasy target, based on his Yahoo ADP of 69.7, but he once again exceeded expectations. The veteran center finished the regular season as a top 50 player in 9-cat formats while sitting just outside the top 60 in 8-cat.       Herro ended Wednesday's 118-84 loss to the Celtics in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with 15 points (6-19 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and three assists across 35 minutes.

      Advice: Herro was forced to embrace a more prominent role on offense due to the absences of Jimmy Butler (knee) and Terry Rozier (neck) in the series against the Celtics. While the numbers were decent across the board, he struggled badly in terms of efficiency and shooting percentages. Over the five games of the series, Herro made just 38.5 percent of his shots from the field and 34.9 percent of his three-pointers.       Advice: Miami was without Jimmy Butler, Terry Rozier, and Jaime Jaquez Jr. for Game 5, putting even more pressure on Herro to perform with the team’s season on the line. He struggled, as many guards do when dealing with Jrue Holiday. While he established new career-highs in points (20.8 per game), assists (4.5), and 3-pointers (3.1), injuries limited Herro’s fantasy value. Beginning the season with a Yahoo ADP of 68.9, he finished the regular season ranked just inside the top 90 in 9-cat, per-game value, according to Basketball Monster. If Herro can play 65-plus games, as he did during the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, he’s capable of approaching top-60 fantasy value.       Advice: Brunson was carrying a probable tag into Tuesday's game with a right knee contusion, but he powered through it and didn't appear limited in any way. Brunson's counting stats continue to be through the roof, but he has struggled with his shot.       Advice: Toppin was once again a solid scoring option off the bench as he scored in double figures for the third straight game. However, his most notable moment from this game was getting into a scuffle with Patrick Beverley that resulted in a technical foul for Toppin. The Bucks had started the second quarter on a 12-2 run, and they were in complete control after the technical. Toppin will look to provide some buckets off the bench once again in Game 6 on Thursday.
