  • Tony Allen (illness) will start on Sunday
Tony Allen (illness) will return to the starting lineup on Sunday, sending Tayshaun Prince to the bench.

Advice: Allen can be viewed as a steals-specialist as he doesn't contribute much else to the stat sheet, but he does have a favorable matchup today against the Clippers. Get him active if you've got him. Rotoworld.com

  • Kidd-Gilchrist (foot) remains w/out timetable
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (foot) remains without an official timetable for his return, and he's currently not allowed to go through shooting drills, as doctors don't want him jumping.

Advice: We'll pass along any updates as they become available, but it's not looking like MKG is anywhere near making a return. While he's out, Gerald Henderson and Gary Neal will continue to see extended minutes, and Neal looks like a solid pickup for owners seeking some 3-point shooting. Rotoworld.com

  • Smart (ankle) hopes to practice next week
Marcus Smart (ankle) is hopeful he'll be able to return to practice next week, but his status for Friday's game vs. the Bulls remains unknown.

Advice: Even if Smart is able to suit up for Friday's game, he'll likely have a minutes restriction, making him an unattractive play in most leagues. He's averaging 6.8 points, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 steals on the season, and he's just not worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Dwyane Wade (hamstring) out Sunday vs. CHA
Dwyane Wade (hamstring) will not suit up for Sunday's game vs. the Hornets.

Advice: That's six games and counting for Wade, and he remains without a definitive return date. Mario Chalmers has been the main beneficiary of Wade's absence, and he's currently averaging 19.3 points, 5.3 assists, 1.8 steals, and 1.3 three-pointers with the starting unit. Norris Cole (finger) has also been ruled out for Sunday's game, so Chalmers is going to get all the minutes he can handle. Rotoworld.com

  • Butler wants Rose to be healthy for playoffs
Jimmy Butler wants Derrick Rose to be 100 percent healthy for a deep playoff run this season.

Advice: "Man, [Rose’s] head is in the same place all of our heads are in, and that’s wanting to win a championship," Butler said. "That’s what he’s getting ready for. That’s what we’re getting ready for. We want him to be 100 percent – not 99 – because you come back too early and you’re risking another injury. He’s fine. He’s our leader, and he knows what he’s doing." Owners of Rose will want to have the aspirin nearby this season, as he's bound for plenty of random rest days, and very late game-time decisions. Rose has been more risk than reward this season, and all owners can do is hope he has a strong second half. Rotoworld.com

  • Roy Hibbert (ankle) questionable for Monday
Roy Hibbert (ankle) is being listed as questionable for Monday's game vs. Dallas.

Advice: Hibbert sprained his left ankle during Saturday's game and did not return. Owners will want to check back for an official update on his status closer to Monday's tip, but if he's unable to go, Ian Mahinmi would draw the start at center. Mahinmi put up 12 points, 10 rebounds, three steals, one block, and one assist during his last outing, and would make for a solid plug-and-play option in daily leagues if Hibbert is sidelined. • Rodney Stuckey (wrist) questionable for Mon.
Rodney Stuckey (sprained left wrist) is being listed as questionable for Monday's game vs. Dallas.

Advice: The injury is to his non-shooting hand, so there's the positive in this situation. Stuckey just hasn't been able to stay healthy this season, and is currently averaging just 10.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game on 38.2 percent shooting from the field. Stuckey will have plenty of opportunity when he's finally able to play, but right now, he doesn't look to be worth owning in standard leagues. If he's unable to go, Donald Sloan will continue to get all the minutes he can handle. Rotoworld.com

  • Carlos Boozer (shoulder) questionable Sunday
Carlos Boozer (shoulder) is being listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Advice: If Boozer is unable to go, Ed Davis will draw the start, and depending on how Davis fares the move could become permanent. Scott has grown tired of Boozer's uninspired play on the defensive end, as he's currently sitting on a +/- rating of minus-90 on the season. Meanwhile, Davis has been racking up the defensive stats in limited playing time and is currently a plus-6 on the year. If Boozer is unable to suit up Sunday, Davis could see his minutes in the 30s, and would make for a solid plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Jeremy Lin (back) will play Sunday vs. Denver
Jeremy Lin said that his back is fine and he will suit up for Sunday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Advice: The injury was never considered serious, so go ahead and get him in your lineups. Lin is not getting a lot of FGA this year playing next to Kobe Bryant, averaging just 8.0 attempts per game to go with 11.8 points, 4.8 assists, 1.1 three-pointers, and a career-worst 0.8 steals. He's not a must-start guy on a nightly basis, but as the only true starting-caliber point guard in LA, he's worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Brandon Jennings (thumb) questionable Tuesday
Brandon Jennings (thumb) did not practice on Sunday, and is questionable for Tuesday's game vs. the Bucks.

Advice: The good news is x-rays were negative, so Jennings is just dealing with a sprain. If he's unable to go on Tuesday, D.J. Augustin will get all the minutes he can handle, and Spencer Dinwiddie could see some extended run off the bench. Augustin makes sense as a speculative add in standard leagues, but just know his value will be short-lived. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Rose (hamstring) will be GTD Monday
Derrick Rose (hamstring) will practice on Sunday, but he remains a game-time decision for Monday's game vs. the Jazz.

Advice: It's a constant guessing game with Rose, so owners will want to check back closer to Monday's tip for an official update on his status. With both Rose and Kirk Hinrich (chest) headed for game-time decisions on Monday, Aaron Brooks could be in for a big game, although Brooks has failed to capitalize on the increased opportunity a couple times this season. • Serge Ibaka encouraged to shoot outside
Serge Ibaka has tied his career highs for both 3-point makes (23) and attempts (60) this season, and coach Scott Brooks expects the trend to continue.

Advice: "He doesn’t necessarily have to live out there and shoot 10 a game," Brooks said. "But three or four a game is a good number for him." The increase in perimeter shooting has been a mixed blessing -- Thunder writer Anthony Slater notes that Ibaka is taking only 26 percent of his shots within 10 feet of the rim this year, down from 47 percent last year. As a consequence his FG percentage has fallen dramatically, from 53.6 percent to a career-worst 46.5 percent. Rotoworld.com

  • Lou Williams earns praise for his defense
Lou Williams poured in a career-high 36 points vs. the Cavaliers on Saturday, but coach Dwane Casey singled out his defense for praise.

Advice: "Most of all, I'm impressed with Lou's defense," Casey said. "He had a reputation of being a scorer but now he's doing a much better job defensively for us, which allows him to stay in and guard guys like [Dion] Waiters and [Kyrie] Irving and people like that." Anything that keeps Williams on the court is terrific news for fantasy owners -- he's currently averaging 13.4 points, 1.5 threes and 1.3 steals in just 19 minutes per game. Rotoworld.com

  • Nene's plantar fasciitis in his right foot
Nene's plantar fasciitis is in his right foot, not the left foot that derailed his 2012-13 season.

Advice: "I think he’s OK," said Wizards coach Randy Wittman. "I haven’t been able to talk with the trainer or anything to get exactly what’s going on." Nene said the pain has developed "over time" and we're considering him questionable for Tuesday's home game vs. the Hawks, the first in a back-to-back set for Washington. Kris Humphries, Kevin Seraphin and Drew Gooden would absorb Nene's minutes if he can't suit up. Rotoworld.com

Jrue Holiday helped close the door on Saturday's 106-94 win over the Jazz with 19 points, six rebounds, nine assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He made Trey Burke look like he belonged in the D-League and just roasted him late. Holiday is really starting to come on and he's going to have some extra shots come his way with Eric Gordon (shoulder) out. He's been a top-10 guard before and that's possible this season. Rotoworld.com

  • Austin Rivers scores eight points
Austin Rivers played 33 minutes against the Jazz on Saturday with eight points, three rebounds, two assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.

Anthony Davis scored a career-high 43 points on 16-of-23 from the field against the Jazz on Saturday to go with 14 boards, two steals and one block.

Danny Green kept his momentum going on Saturday against the Nets with 21 points, seven rebounds, two assists, three blocks and five 3-pointers.

Advice: That's good for a 105.0 effective field goal percentage. Green is money in fantasy leagues and he has seven blocks in his last two games. There's no reason why he should be on any waiver wires. Rotoworld.com

  • Mirza Teletovic comes through on Sat.
Mirza Teletovic delivered on Saturday against the Spurs with 22 points, eight rebounds, one assist and four 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Advice: He started for Kevin Garnett (rest) and was all his fantasy owners could ask for. Garnett will likely sit later on this year and Teletovic was already putting up solid value, so he's worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Paul Pierce scores 25 points vs. Bucks
Paul Pierce had his best game in a Wizards uniform on Saturday with 25 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and four 3-pointers in 28 minutes.

Advice: The Wizards needed him to step up with Otto Porter (hamstring) out tonight and he came through. Pierce is not going to be this good, but his multiple-category output will make him worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo scores 20 points
Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 20 points against the Wizards during a 111-100 loss on Saturday, adding four rebounds, five assists, three steals and two turnovers.

Advice: He made all eight shots from the line and was 6-of-11 from the field in the loss. Antetokounmpo has started to get into a groove on the offensive end and his discovery of the one-dribble drive has gone a long way to help his shooting percentages. He's worth owning in standard leagues, but most of value will likely lie in March and April. Rotoworld.com

  • Brandon Knight fills it up in a loss
Brandon Knight scored 27 points against the Wizards on Saturday with five rebounds, six assists, one steal, one block, three 3-pointers and five turnovers.

  • Iman Shumpert still plays 32 minutes
Iman Shumpert played 32 minutes against the Sixers on Saturday with seven points, two rebounds, three assists, four steals and two turnovers.

Advice: He looked comfortable as the shooting guard tonight and coach Derek Fisher seems to have some confidence in Shumpert as his best wing defender. He won't be an elite guy, but he should have enough value worthy of ownership in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Jose Calderon struggles in his start
Jose Calderon played 21 minutes in his Knicks debut on Saturday vs. the 76ers with three points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He had both of his calves wrapped tonight and was a step slow. Calderon will obviously be better than tonight and he's been gold in nine-category leagues because of his low turnovers. Make sure he's not on the wire despite this ugly game. Rotoworld.com

  • Lou Williams drops career-high 36 vs. Cavs
Lou Williams was unstoppable vs. the Cavs on Saturday, setting a new career-high with 36 points (9-of-19 FGs, 15-of-15 FTs) on Saturday, adding three 3-pointers, four rebounds and three steals in just 29 minutes.

Advice: He made 9-of-9 free throws in his first nine minutes alone, and this is an extreme example of the instant offense that Toronto was hoping he'd provide when they traded for him this summer. His 18-20 minute bench role isn't well-suited to sustainable fantasy value, unfortunately, and he's likely to remain an unsteady option in 12-team leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Nene leaves Saturday with plantar fasciitis
Nene started Saturday's game but only played six minutes before being ruled out with plantar fasciitis.

Advice: Uh oh. Nene's 2012-13 season was spoiled by a never-ending bout of plantar fasciitis, so this is an ominous development just three weeks into the season. Kris Humphries is the most likely player to start at PF if Nene misses any time, while DeJuan Blair and Drew Gooden could find themselves back in the frontcourt rotation. Fantasy owners should consider Nene day-to-day for now, while bracing themselves for DNPs. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey exits w/ sprained left wrist
Rodney Stuckey sprained his left wrist after tripping over a photographer on Saturday, and he will not return.

Advice: Stuckey is already struggling with his conditioning after missing time due to a foot injury, and we can only hope that this injury doesn't cost him any more time. X-rays were negative and we're considering him questionable for Monday's road game in Dallas -- with C.J. Watson (foot) and George Hill (ankle) already ruled out, Donald Sloan may need to once again log 40+ minutes if Stuckey doesn't suit up. Rotoworld.com

Roy Hibbert (ankle) did not return to Saturday's game against the Suns.

Roy Hibbert limped into the Pacers locker room on Saturday after spraining his left ankle, but he will return.

  • Mirza Teletovic will start in place of KG
Mirza Teletovic will start in place of Kevin Garnett on Saturday against the Spurs.

Advice: This was an expected move as Mirza picks up a lot of the power forward minutes, especially late in the game. He should have some extra minutes and shots go his way, so he's a sneaky player to use in daily leagues as well as a streamer in year-long formats. Rotoworld.com

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo back as Bucks starter
Giannis Antetokounmpo will return to Milwaukee's starting lineup on Saturday, sending Jerryd Bayless to the bench.

Advice: Jason Kidd unexpectedly benched Antetokounmpo on Friday, playing him 15 minutes in a blowout defeat vs. the Raptors. Giannis may still be dealing with a minor ankle injury but he's worth deploying now that he's reclaimed his spot in the Bucks' starting lineup. Rotoworld.com

  • Jose Calderon in the starting lineup on Sat.
Jose Calderon will be in the starting lineup against the Sixers on Saturday.

Advice: There is no official minute restriction, but the Knicks would be extremely foolish to play him big minutes. Calderon has been out all season after an aggravation and he has a laundry list of muscle issues in his career. He should be owned in all leagues, but his owners should bench him. Shane Larkin owner will want to cut him in just about every league. We'll also keep an eye on how Calderon's return affects guys like Iman Shumpert. Rotoworld.com

"We’re lucky that he said something [about feeling pain] because if he gets a stress fracture we’re in deep trouble," said Steve Clifford. "I think that is why they’re being very careful." • Larkin, Prigioni to split backup PG role
The Knicks' backup PG job will be a "nightly" toss-up between Shane Larkin and Pablo Prigioni, according to coach Derek Fisher.

Advice: "There will be times when Pablo is the best fit. There will be times when Shane is the best fit," said Fisher. "And we will just do in that moment what we think is best for the group. The Bulls have considered signing another point guard if Derrick Rose (hamstring) isn't ready to return for Monday's game.

Anthony Davis scored 18 points with nine rebounds, two assists, one steal and two blocks in 32 minutes against the Nuggets on Friday.

Advice: This would have been a great line for any player, but Davis has completely spoiled his fantasy owners. He might turn it around and go for a 30-point, 20-board, 10-block game on Saturday against the Jazz or something. Rotoworld.com

Jeremy Lin got on track during the Lakers' blowout loss to the Mavs on Friday, scoring 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting with four rebounds, five assists, two threes and a block.

Advice: Like many of the games tonight, this one was not one to evaluate as the Lakers lost by 34 points. Jordan Hill kept things rolling with 16 points on 7-of-7 shooting, 10 boards, a steal and a block, and Kobe Bryant hit just 6-of-22 shots with a full line and what else is new. Danny Green filled the stat sheet against the Wolves on Friday with 18 points, three rebounds, three assists, one steal, four blocks and four 3-pointers during a 121-92 win.

Advice: He made 6-of-9 from the field and both free throws for one of the biggest stat lines of the night. Fantasy owners tend to focus on points too much, but Green has put up top-60 value on the season. He's worth owning in all standard formats. Rotoworld.com

  • Teletovic scores 13 points with seven boards
Mirza Teletovic scored 13 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 6-of-12 shots (including a three) with seven rebounds, one steal and one block in 28 minutes.

Advice: Teletovic is returning top 90-115 value (9/8 cat) on the year, averaging 10.8 points with 1.9 treys, 4.8 boards and a 45.6 percent mark from the field. That's easily enough production to be owned in all standard formats, though owners should expect for him to be streaky. Rotoworld.com

Giannis Antetokounmpo's status for Friday's game was all over the board, but he eventually decided to suit up and finished with seven points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal in 15 minutes.

Advice: The Bucks got the snot beat out of them by the Raptors and in the grand scheme of things it probably would have been better for him to sit. • Brandon Jennings hyperextends left thumb
Brandon Jennings suffered a hyperextended left thumb in Friday's loss to the Hawks.

Advice: It kept his minutes down to just 23 tonight in his worst game in a while, scoring nine points with two rebounds, two assists and one steal. Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) will not play against the Raptors on Friday.

Advice: Well, it looks like he had some discomfort in his ankle. Antetokounmpo had an ugly ankle roll when he landed on Brandon Knight's foot on Wednesday, but he did play through it. "It’s all about getting my legs back underneath me and getting my wind back up. Here within the next week or so I should be back to normal." Stuckey is going to be eased back into the rotation, but with George Hill (knee) and C.J. Watson (foot) out he'll have plenty of opportunity. However, he really doesn't do much aside from score, so he's not necessarily a must-own guy in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Rose, Pau Gasol & Kirk Hinrich out
Derrick Rose (hamstring), Pau Gasol (calf) and Kirk Hinrich (chest) are out against the Blazers on Friday.

Advice: Rose has been ruled out quickly for each of the last three games and he could miss more time. The Bulls are likely going to manage his minutes upon his return, so fantasy owners shouldn't buy low unless it's at an extremely discount. Aaron Brooks is going to be very busy tonight. • Jose Calderon (calf) practices in full on Fri
Jose Calderon (calf) was a full participant during Friday's practice, and he's expected to make his Knicks' debut on Saturday vs. the 76ers.

Advice: Calderon's return will send Shane Larkin to the bench, and Iman Shumpert's value will take a small hit. He has a very favorable matchup vs. the Philadelphia "Tanker," but owners will want to check back for an official update as we draw closer to Saturday's tip. Rotoworld.com

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) headed for GTD
Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) was a full participant during Friday's shootaround, and is headed for a game-time decision vs. the Raptors.

Advice: "At shootaround he looked all right," head coach Jason Kidd said of Giannis. "We'll see how he feels in a couple hours." Kidd isn't one to make his lineups readily available, so we likely won't know of Giannis' status until just before tip-off. That being said, things are looking positive for The Greek Freak, but if he were to sit O.J. Mayo would see some increased opportunity. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Tony Allen (illness) questionable for Friday
Tony Allen (illness) left Friday morning's shootaround early, and remains questionable to suit up vs. the Celtics.

Advice: If Allen is unable to go Vince Carter would likely see an increase in his minutes. Carter was able to play 27 minutes off the bench during his last outing, but was only managed seven points, three assists, and one three-pointer. However, he does have a favorable matchup today vs. the Celtics, so he may be worth the risk in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (foot) out Friday
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (foot) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Magic.

Advice: With P.J. Hairston (ankle) also sidelined, Gerald Henderson will likely draw another start and get all the minutes he can handle. Henderson is coming off a disappointing two rebound, zero-point dud from Wednesday, but he'll look to bounce-back with a favorable matchup vs. Orlando. • Dwyane Wade (hamstring) out Thursday vs. LAC
Dwyane Wade (hamstring) will not suit up for Thursday's game vs. the Clippers.

Advice: This marks the fourth consecutive game Wade will be sidelined with this hamstring injury, and Mario Chalmers will continue to start as long as Wade is out. Chalmers has been great with the starting unit, averaging 20.0 points, 5.0 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.0 three-pointer per game, and he should be in all active lineups on a night with just two games being played. • Marcus Smart (ankle) doubtful for Sunday
Marcus Smart (ankle) said that he doubts he'll play Sunday, and he remains without a definitive return date.

Advice: "I couldn’t really tell you [an expected return date]. It just depends," Smart said. "One day my body feels good, probably one day it doesn’t. I’ve got to listen to my body." Smart was able to do some straight-line movement during Thursday's practice, but still is unable to do anything side-to-side. He may be able resume practicing next week, and after Sunday's game vs. Portland the Celtics don't play again until Friday, Nov. 28. We'll consider Smart questionable for that one, and we'll be monitoring his status closely. However, with averages of just 6.8 points, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 steals, he’s not a viable option in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Antetokounmpo (ankle) questionable for Friday
Giannis Antetokounmpo (ankle) is being listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. the Raptors.

Advice: Giannis sprained his ankle during the second overtime of Wednesday's triple OT win over the Nets, but managed to play through it. If The Greek Freak is unable to go, Khris Middleton and O.J. Mayo would be the primary beneficiaries of his absence, with Mayo offering the most upside. • Report: Derrick Rose out Thurs., iffy Friday
Bulls beat writer K.C. Johnson reports that Derrick Rose's absence due to a strained hamstring "will likely extend to next week."

Advice: Rose ran and tried to loosen his hamstring during Thursday's shootaround, but Tom Thibodeau ruled him out vs. the Kings. He's officially questionable for Friday's game but it doesn't sound likely that he'll take the court until Monday's road game in Utah. Fantasy owners should confirm Rose's status on Friday afternoon. If he sits out again, Kirk Hinrich will start with Aaron Brooks backing him up. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Rose, Pau Gasol both out Thursday
Derrick Rose (hamstring) and Pau Gasol (calf) have both been ruled out for Thursday's game vs. the Kings.

Advice: This is Rose's third consecutive DNP and he's missed seven of Chicago's 12 games to begin the season, despite averaging a conservative 23.5 minutes per game. His hamstring strain was initially described as 'mild' and he was 50-50 to play in this game, though the fact that he was ruled out so early isn't a good sign. Fantasy owners will have to continue playing the guessing game regarding his status for Friday's road game in Portland. Kirk Hinrich will earn another start in his absence, with Aaron Brooks picking up extra minutes off the bench. Rotoworld.com

  • Jose Calderon expected to play Saturday
Jose Calderon (calf) is expected to play against the 76ers on Saturday.

Advice: This is great news for the 3-10 Knicks as they could use Calderon's veteran leadership and it is also great news for fantasy owners who are in need of point guard help. Calderon should immediately take over point guard duties from Pablo Prigioni and Shane Larkin, while Iman Shumpert's fantasy value will take a minor hit as Calderson's return should diminish his usage. Jeremy Lin didn't get his revenge game against the Rockets on Wednesday with three points, four assists, one steal, one block and five turnovers.

Carlos Boozer scored 12 points with 13 rebounds, one assist and two turnovers in 30 minutes against the Rockets on Wednesday.

Advice: He shot just 5-of-15 from the field and wasn't quite as hot as his 20-point, 10-board game on Tuesday. Nobody will bother trading for Boozer in your fantasy league, but he's worth owning as a low-upside guy for his points and boards. Rotoworld.com

  • Serge Ibaka breaks out of funk in loss
Serge Ibaka went off for 22 points, 13 rebounds, zero blocks and two 3-pointers on 9-of-15 shooting on Wednesday.

Advice: Owners might think this is a season high for Ibaka, who has been pretty quiet thus far, but he had a 25-point game back on Nov. 4. This was his first 20-point game since, and while the lack of blocks was a little disappointing, we doubt owners are complaining. Hopefully this is a sign he's about to get hot, although most decent big men have a lot of success against the Nuggets. Rotoworld.com

  • Brandon Jennings hits 1-of-9 3-pointers
Brandon Jennings hit just 7-of-19 shots and 1-of-9 3-pointers for 19 points, seven assists and two steals on Wednesday.

Advice: Had he not been firing up the threes, his line would have been a lot better, but whatever was holding Jennings back early in the season has been fixed. Jennings has been playing well for 10 straight games after struggling mightily in his first two of the season. Rotoworld.com

  • Iman Shumpert makes just 1-of-11 shots
Iman Shumpert made just 1-of-11 from the field against the Wolves on Wednesday with three points, four rebounds, one assist and four turnovers.

Advice: He turned in a 21-point gem on Tuesday night and was on the other end of the spectrum. Most of the Knicks wings are not giving Shumpert much competition, so he should still be able to keep his playing time somewhat high even when Jose Calderon (calf) comes back. He's worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Brandon Knight scores 18 on 20 shots
Brandon Knight made 5-of-20 from the field for 18 points against the Nets during a 122-118 win on Wednesday, adding three rebounds, eight assists, two boards and two 3-pointers in 49 minutes.

Advice: He missed a wide-open breakaway layup at the end of overtime, but he redeemed himself in the last two frames. Missed layup aside, Knight has 17 dimes in his last two games and his steals are also up, so his fantasy owners are playing with house money right now with his top-40 value. He won't be this high all season. Rotoworld.com

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo scores 18 in a win
Giannis Antetokounmpo made 7-of-11 from the field for 18 points against the Nets during a triple-overtime win on Wednesday, adding 12 rebounds, four assists, three steals and two turnovers in 48 minutes.

Advice: The Greek Freak did roll his ankle late in this game, but he did play through it and it didn't seem to bother him. He is shooting the ball much better this season and it has a lot to do with his much improved shot selection. Excluding some foul trouble on Tuesday, Antetokounmpo's minutes are way up and he looks to be locked in to the starting lineup. His upside is too high to be left on the wire right now. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey take a lot of shots in return
Rodney Stuckey returned to the lineup on Wednesday against the Hornets, making 5-of-13 from the field for 11 points with two rebounds, one assist and no turnovers in 26 minutes.

Advice: He played mostly shooting guard and continues to turn in a high usage rate. Stuckey logged only 13.3 minutes per game, but now he's likely going to stay in the mid-20 range. Considering he doesn't usually shoot the ball well and doesn't do much outside of scoring, he's not a great player to own in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

Advice: This would be his fourth game out of the lineup and there's a chance he misses some time over the weekend, as well. It's worth mentioning his left leg has been worse than his right and he's needed his left knee drained multiple times over the past few seasons. Rodney Stuckey (foot) will play in Wednesday's game against Charlotte.

Advice: This is excellent news for the Pacers as they have been ravaged by injuries all season long. It is unclear how many minutes Stuckey will see Wednesday, but he likely be eased into action. Michael Kidd-Gilchirst (foot) is out for Wednesday's game against the Pacers.

Advice: After showing visible improvement in his play early this season, he has had some tough luck with injuries so far. MKG is expected to make a full recovery with a few days rest, so we will consider him day-to-day for now. Gary Neal (concussion) is also out for Wednesday's game while P.J. • Rodney Stuckey (foot) is probable Wednesday
Rodney Stuckey (foot) is probable for Wednesday's game vs. the Hornets.

Advice: Owners in deep leagues should definitely consider taking a flier on him due to the lack of depth the Pacers have right now with George Hill(knee) and C.J. Watson (ankle) still recovering from injury. Stuckey can put up points in a hurry and though his minutes might be limited at first, he could play a huge role for the Pacers this season. Anthony Davis continued his onslaught in Tuesday's road win vs. the Kings, notching 27 points (11-of-19 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), nine rebounds, two steals and three blocks.

Advice: He's on pace to become the only player in NBA history to lead the league in both steals and blocks, and the Pelicans' 21-year-old is sure to rack up untold records as his career unfolds. He's lapping the field for fantasy value, with only Steph Curry, LeBron James, James Harden and Chris Paul in the rearview mirror. Rotoworld.com

  • Serge Ibaka shoots just 2-of-13 in road loss
Serge Ibaka had a rough night on Tuesday, making only 2-of-13 FGs to finish a lopsided road loss with six points, six rebounds, one steal and one block.

Advice: Ibaka's sweet-spot is as a second-option or third-option in the OKC offense, and his numbers should pick up once Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant get back on the court. He's still a top-50 value through 12 games, despite his disappointing start to the season, and fantasy owners should target him as a prime buy-low option. Rotoworld.com

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo gets into foul trouble
Giannis Antetokounmpo picked up a few quick fouls defending Carmelo Anthony on Tuesday, which limited him to 13 points and six rebounds in just 18 minutes of action.

Advice: He was in the starting lineup again, which is a positive development, and it was very encouraging to see him make 7-of-7 free throws -- he's at just 67.7 percent on the season, which is consistent with his rookie year. He has enough upside to be owned in 12-team leagues, but has yet to put it all together in 2014-15. Rotoworld.com

Iman Shumpert (hip) returned in style on Tuesday, scoring 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting with two 3-pointers, eight rebounds, eight assists, three steal and three turnovers.

Advice: He did his damage in 36 minutes while starting alongside J.R. Smith, with Carmelo Anthony taking over at PF. Shump is on fire from the field and is shooting 50.5 percent on the season, compared to his previous career-best 40.1 percent shooting, and fantasy owners should continue to ride him until he cools off. Shane Larkin's streak of quiet games continued on Tuesday, as he went scoreless with zero rebounds and one assist in just 22 minutes.

Advice: He has been starting at PG by default but Jose Calderon is nearing a return, and fantasy owners should cut Larkin in all formats. He's yet to score double-digit points in a game this season, largely because he's attempting only 5.9 shots in 27 minutes per game. Rotoworld.com

Jeremy Lin bounced back from Sunday's scoreless dud, scoring 15 points with one 3-pointer, three rebounds, two steals and a season-high 10 assists in Tuesday's win in Atlanta.

Advice: Lin is off to a quiet start this season, averaging 11.7 points on 43.2 percent shooting, while attempting only 8.1 shots per game. Those are all the lowest numbers since his rookie season in 2010-11 and owners should strive to be patient, as tonight's game is a timely reminder of his upside as the Lakers' unquestioned starting PG. Advice: Boozer was torched defensively but made up the difference with solid rebounding and shooting, which is a nice sight after Sunday's dud (six points on 3-of-13 shooting). Advice: Shumpert said he felt good during morning shootaround and wants to play, but will meet with the training staff before making a pre-game decision. • Anthony Davis may or may not be human
Anthony Davis scored 31 points on 14-of-20 shooting with 11 rebounds, three assists, three steals and three blocks in Monday's loss to the Blazers.

Advice: Davis hasn't neared his ceiling yet and that's the part folks continue to grapple with, but be clear we haven't seen this type of transcendent player in many, many years. Jrue Holiday hit just 5-of-19 shots for 14 points, seven boards, two assists and three treys, and Tyreke Evans was equally inept shooting the ball with 13 points on 5-of-18 shooting, five boards, eight assists and two steals. Derrick Rose (hamstring) will not play against the Clippers on Monday.

Advice: This is the second game in a row in which the Bulls won't even make Rose a game-time decision. Rose is doing some work, but he could miss more time. His fantasy owners in weekly leagues have a tough decision on their hands with the only other games coming on a back-to-back set on Thursday and Friday. Jimmy Butler is coming off a career night while Aaron Brooks disappointed on Saturday. Kirk Hinrich also played well on Saturday, which was really his only good game in the starting lineup. For what it's worth, we would bench Rose in just about any scenario. Rotoworld.com

  • Iman Shumpert will test out his hip Tuesday
Iman Shumpert is still feeling soreness in his hip, but he'll test the injury on Tuesday.

Advice: The Knicks play the Bucks on Tuesday, and it sounds as if Shumpert could come down to a game-time call. If Shumpert isn't able to suit up and give it a go, J.R. Smith will see his window of increased value extended ever so slightly. In that scenario, Tim Hardaway should pick up a few minutes as well. Rotoworld.com

  • Calderon could begin practicing before Friday
Jose Calderon (hamstring) could begin practicing before Friday.

Advice: Calderon is expected to return to practice by Friday at the latest. The Knicks could use his leadership and abilities at the point, especially as the team looks to get the Triangle offense fully integrated. As soon as Calderon can return, he's expected to take over as the team's starting point guard. He should be owned in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Marcus Smart limited to stationary shooting
Marcus Smart (ankle) is limited to just stationary shooting right now.

Advice: "All that he’s doing is shooting stationary," Stevens said. "There is increased activity, as far as on the [Alter-G, non-weight-bearing] treadmill, so he’s not doing a whole lot. He is up on his feet and walking, the boot is off and all that stuff." The Celtics won't rush the rookie back before he's completely healthy and ready to return. Rotoworld.com

  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (foot) out for Monday
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (foot) will not play in Monday's game vs. the Mavericks.

Advice: MKG has a stress reaction but the Hornets continue to list him as day-to-day, which suggests that they caught it very early. Gary Neal (concussion) is also out of commission, which means P.J. Hairston will earn another start with help from reserves Gerald Henderson and Brian Roberts. Rotoworld.com

  • Dwyane Wade (hamstring) will travel to BK
Dwyane Wade (hamstring) will travel with the Heat to Brooklyn, but he's looking doubtful for Monday's game despite being listed as day-to-day.

Advice: "He's starting to do a lot more corrective exercises, strength and treatment," coach Erik Spoelstra said. "That's all we can do right now. Then we'll take the next step when he can get there." Wade missed nine games last season with a similar hamstring issue, so it wouldn't be shocking to see him sit out on Monday. If he's unable to go, Mario Chalmers would likely get another start, and he makes for a solid option in daily leagues. Stay tuned for an official update on Wade's status as we draw closer to Monday's tip. Rotoworld.com

  • Dwyane Wade (hamstring) out Sunday vs. Bucks
Dwyane Wade (hamstring) will not suit up for Sunday's game vs. the Bucks, and is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Nets.

Advice: James Ennis drew the start in Wade's place on Friday, but he only lasted six minutes, and it was Mario Chalmers who saw a bulk of the minutes in Wade's absence. Chalmers put up 23 points, 11 assists, and one 3-pointer during his last outing, and will look to build upon that effort today as the Heat take on the Bucks, get him in your lineups. Rotoworld.com

  • Marcus Smart (ankle) able to move w/out limp
Marcus Smart (ankle) is now able to move around without a limp, but he has still not been cleared to return to practice.

Advice: Smart suffered a pretty brutal ankle injury on Nov. 7, and he is currently targeting a late-November return. It's nice to see that he's progressing, but with averages of just 6.8 points, 1.2 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.2 three-pointers per game on 30.6 percent shooting from the field, he's simply not worth owning in standard leagues. • Shane Larkin will start for Knicks on Sunday
Shane Larkin will start for the Knicks on Sunday vs. the Nuggets.

Advice: Larkin has been inconsistent all season but has shown flashes of good play. However, Jose Calderon (calf) is expected to return very soon meaning that Larkin should be left on the waiver wire in almost all leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Jose Calderon may practice later this week
Coach Fisher said on Sunday that Jose Calderon and Andrea Bargnani could resume practice later this week, but both will miss Sunday's game.

Advice: This would be great news for Calderon's owners, as he is expected to flourish in the triangle offense making him a must-own player in almost all leagues. Bargnani on the other hand, shouldn't be owned in standard leagues until he strings together a couple of good games so owners should monitor him first. Rotoworld.com

  • Iman Shumpert (hip) is out for Sunday's game
Iman Shumpert (hip) is out for Sunday's game and J.R. Smith will draw the start.

Advice: This is a tough blow for Shump's owners, as he had been playing well so far this season. He isn't expected to miss much time, so J.R. Smith and Tim Hardaway are only options for owners in need of short-term value. Consider Shumpert day-to-day and we will update his status as needed. Rotoworld.com

  • Iman Shumpert (hip) is doubtful Sunday
Iman Shumpert (hip) is considered doubtful for Sunday's game against Denver.

Advice: He had to leave the game on Friday but the good news was that X-rays were negative. Shumpert could still play Sunday but if he doesn't, expect the Knicks to use a committee approach to fill Shump's minutes with the likes of Shane Larkin and Pablo Prigioni. However, neither of those players are what we would call enticing pickups so owners in standard leagues will want to avoid them. Rotoworld.com

  • Mirza Teletovic is suddenly cold
Mirza Teletovic had another awful game on Saturday, making 1-of-7 from the field for two points with four rebounds, one assist and no turnovers.

Advice: He committed four fouls and is now 1-of-11 from the field in his last two games. Teletovic was on fire to start the season, so his owners should try to stick with him for one more game. That said, he's not must-own material. Rotoworld.com

  • Nene scores 16 in 27 minutes on Sat.
Nene (shoulder) played 27 minutes against the Magic on Saturday with 16 points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks.

  • Rodney Stuckey won't play on Sat.
Rodney Stuckey (foot) will not play against the Bulls on Saturday.

Advice: He was listed as questionable earlier today, but getting ruled out before pre-game warmup isn't a good sign. • Iman Shumpert (hip) doubtful for Sunday
Iman Shumpert (hip) missed practice on Saturday and is doubtful to play on Sunday against the Nuggets.

Advice: He did not return from his hip contusion on Friday, but X-rays were negative. Shumpert isn't expected to miss too much time, but there's a chance he could miss time even beyond Sunday. Shane Larkin and Pablo Prigioni will have to play next to each other for several possesions while J.R. Smith and Tim Hardaway Jr. may play more, too. There isn't a great pickup to make here, though. • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (foot) out on Saturday
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (foot) is out as expected on Saturday and rookie P.J. Hairston will likely draw another start.

Advice: He missed Friday's game, and the Hornets are going to hold him out of Saturday's game as well as he tries to recover from a stress reaction in his foot. Rookie P.J. Hairston will draw another start, but is only an option in deep leagues or in daily leagues for his 3-point shooting, as he knocked down three 3-pointers in 17 minutes Friday. MKG is considered day-to-day and we will update his status as needed. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Rose (hamstring) out on Saturday
Derrick Rose (hamstring) will not play in Saturday's game vs. the Pacers.

Advice: He tweaked his hamstring in Thursday's game on a drive to the basket, so this news comes as no surprise. The Bulls are going to be incredibly cautious with Rose to the dismay of his owners and will likely have many more DNP's this season. Aaron Brooks and Kirk Hinrich will both pick up extra minutes, and even though Hinrich will start, Brooks is the much better plug-and-play in daily leagues. • Rodney Stuckey (foot) questionable Saturday
Rodney Stuckey (foot) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game.

Advice: He has been dealing with foot issues all season, so it would be nice to see him suit up in this one. The Pacers are desperate for depth in their backcourt with C.J. Though he is injury-prone, owners should continue to deploy him as usual, but check back before tip-off for any updates on his status. Serge Ibaka uncorked nine 3-point attempts in the Thunder's 96-89 overtime loss to the Pistons on Friday, hitting three of them en route to 19 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks.

Advice: Ibaka hit 8-of-20 shots overall and the added offensive responsibilities have actually hurt his value. He's not blocking nearly as many shots as he normally does and his efficiency is way down, but the experience should be a bonus when he's moved back into his supporting role as the year goes on. Owners certainly shouldn't be panicking at all. Rotoworld.com

  • Jennings carries Pistons to win with 29 pts
Brandon Jennings scored eight straight points in overtime and led the Pistons to a win over the Thunder, finishing with 29 points on 10-of-18 shooting (including five threes) with five rebounds, five assists, two steals and one block in 36 minutes.

Advice: Don't look now but Jennings is a top-35 player on the season even after his disastrous start. It's a case study in not overreacting to the first week of the season and also a great opportunity to sell him high while he's sporting a 46.2 percent mark from the field, which is going to drop at some point. • Holiday near perfect on 10 FGAs; posts 24 & 9
Jrue Holiday hit 9-of-10 shots in the Pelicans' 139-91 beatdown of the Wolves on Friday, finishing with 24 points, nine assists and two 3-pointers.

Advice: The Pelicans never let up from start to finish so everybody got to eat tonight. Anthony Davis scored 22 points with four rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks, Tyreke Evans posted 16 points, six boards, seven assists, four steals and a trey, and Ryan Anderson hit four threes on his way to 16 and six. And if you saw Austin Rivers with an 8-for-9 shooting night for 17 points and a relatively full stat line, it's pretty easy to understand what was going on here. Rotoworld.com

  • Knight keeps things rolling for his owners
Brandon Knight kept up his torrid pace with 24 points on 9-of-17 shooting, six rebounds, five assists, one steal, two threes and two turnovers in Friday's loss to the Magic.

Advice: Knight is a top 15-50 play (8/9 cat) this season and his consistency has been notable playing for flighty Jason Kidd. He's probably going to chill out on the 4.0 turnovers per game he brought into tonight, while his 87.8 percent foul shooting is certainly suspect with his best season checking in at 80.2 percent. His rebounding and assist numbers are way up, but it's possible that a role change under Kidd is bringing him good fortune. Rotoworld.com

Luigi Datome (hamstring) will be available to play Friday vs. the Thunder.

  • Nene (shoulder) will play Saturday vs. Magic
Nene (shoulder) has practiced in full for the past two days, and head coach Randy Wittman said that he will play Saturday.

Advice: Nene is averaging 11.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.7 steals on the season, so he can be viewed as a low-end option in standard leagues. The next injury is always right around the corner with Nene, but he's a serviceable while healthy. Rotoworld.com

  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (foot) out Friday
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist had a stress reaction in his right foot, and will be sidelined for at least the next two games.

Advice: That means that Kidd-Gilchrist will be targeting a return for Monday's game vs. Dallas at the earliest. Beat reporter Rick Bonnell is reporting that rookie P.J. Hairston will draw the start Friday, and it'll be interesting to see what he can do with some extended minutes. Owners in standard leagues can use a wait-and-see approach with Hairston. Rotoworld.com

  • Dwyane Wade (hamstring) out Friday vs. Hawks
Updating a previous report, Dwyane Wade (hamstring) has ruled himself out for Friday's game vs. the Hawks.

Advice: It's unclear who will start in Wade's place, but coach Erik Spoelstra's options are Mario Chalmers, James Ennis, or Shannon Brown. Some beat reporters are speculating that Spoelstra would like Chalmers to remain with the second unit, so we'll be monitoring this situation closely. Still, Chalmers offers the most upside out of the group, even if he's coming off the bench. Wade's injury seems relatively minor, so we'll consider him day-to-day for now. Rotoworld.com

Even though I'm going to feel better before I really am, I'm just trying to make sure that I am 100 percent before I step on the court again." Jose Calderon (calf) and Andrea Bargnani (hamstring) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Jazz.

Advice: This news should come as no surprise as Calderon isn't targeting a return until late-November, and Bargnani remains without an official return date. Shane Larkin has been filling in as the team's point guard with Calderon sidelined, but his contributions to the stat sheet have been minimal. Iman Shumpert however, has taken full advantage of the extended opportunity, and is currently averaging 13.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.8 three-pointers a game, and given how he has endeared himself to coach Derek Fisher with his defense, he'll likely remain a key rotation player even upon Calderon's eventual return. • Kidd-Gilchrist could get extended mins Friday
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist could get some extended run on Friday with Marvin Williams (knee) doubtful, and Noah Vonleh not yet being ready to see major minutes.

Advice: Cody Zeller is expected to draw the start at power forward on Friday if Williams is unable to go, but Kidd-Gilchrist could see some time as the team's backup power forward. "We could play smaller. We’ve worked some with [Kidd-Gilchrist] at the four, which is something I eventually want to do," head coach Steve Clifford said following Thursday's practice. Clifford also said that while Vonleh could see some limited minutes, he's not up to speed with the Hornets' system, and he's "not close" to being ready for major minutes. Advice: For comparison, Tim Duncan averages twice as many as Davis' 5.2 close touches per game in less minutes, so there's something amiss here. Advice: He shot 1-of-4 from the charity stripe, so this wasn't a flawless line. Of course, Davis is dropping ginormous fantasy stat lines like it's going out of style, so missing a few free throws doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. He's a beast. Rotoworld.com
