    • Haynes: Porzingis could return for conf. finals
According to TNT’s Chris Haynes, Kristaps Porzingis (right soleus strain) is likely out for the second round but could be back if the Celtics advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.

Advice: Porzingis injured his calf during Boston’s Game 4 victory, which gave them a 3-1 lead over the Heat. While advancing to the second round isn’t guaranteed, the odds favor Boston. According to the report, Porzingis is unlikely to play during the second round, but he could be available if the Celtics reach the Eastern Conference Finals. Al Horford will replace KP in the starting lineup for the foreseeable future. Rotoworld 40 minutes ago
    • Damian Lillard (Achilles) doubtful Thursday
Damian Lillard (right Achilles tendinitis) is listed as doubtful for Thursday’s meeting between the Bucks and Pacers.

Advice: Lillard appears set to miss his second consecutive playoff game. Malik Beasley will likely fill in for the star point guard alongside Patrick Beverley. Rotoworld Today, 2:46 pm
    • Listed as doubtful again
Lillard (Achilles) is doubtful for Thursday's Game 6 against the Pacers, Pat Boylan of Bally Sports Indiana reports.

Advice: Lillard is listed as doubtful for a third straight matchup after aggravating a right Achilles injury during Game 3. Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) is also doubtful, so Bobby Portis and Malik Beasley should remain in the starting lineup. The Bucks had a valiant effort in Game 5 at home to extend the series, led by Portis and Khris Middleton (ankle), but they still need to win back-to-back games to advance to the second round. • Drops 40 points in Game 5 loss
Brunson amassed 40 points (15-32 FG, 4-11 3Pt, 6-9 FT), three rebounds, six assists and three steals across 51 minutes during Tuesday's 112-106 overtime loss to Philadelphia in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Brunson was carrying a probable tag into Tuesday's game with a right knee contusion, but he powered through it and didn't appear limited in any way. Brunson's counting stats continue to be through the roof, but he has struggled with his shot. Through five playoff games, Brunson is hitting 41.9 percent from the field and 28.9 percent from beyond the arc. Rotowire.com Today, 7:53 am
    • Jalen Brunson drops 40 in OT loss in Game 5
Jalen Brunson led the Knicks with 40 points (15-of-32 FGs), three rebounds, six assists, three steals and four triples in a 112-106 overtime loss to Philadelphia in Game 5 on Tuesday.

Advice: With a chance to close out the series at home, Brunson had a massive performance, which was his second straight game with at least 40 points. Unfortunately, an unreal stretch from Tyrese Maxey late in the fourth quarter forced overtime, where the Knicks just couldn’t get anything going outside of Brunson, who scored all nine of their points in the extra frame. It was still an impressive game from Brunson, but they’ll now have to go into Philadelphia for Game 6 on Thursday. Brunson averaged 43 points in the two games in Philly, with the Knicks coming away with a win in Game 4. They’ll need another masterclass performance out of him to avoid a Game 7. • Won't play Tuesday
Lillard (Achilles) has been ruled out for Tuesday's Game 5 against the Pacers, Pat Boylan of Bally Sports Indiana reports.

Advice: Lillard will miss his second straight contest after being downgraded from doubtful to out with a right Achilles strain. Malik Beasley will likely draw another start in Lillard's absence. If Milwaukee can win Game 5, Lillard's next chance to suit up will come in Game 6 on Thursday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:46 pm
    • Suiting up against Philadelphia
Brunson (knee) is available and in the starting lineup for Tuesday's Game 5 against the 76ers.

Advice: Brunson has been upgraded from probable to available Tuesday despite dealing with a right knee contusion. While the star guard is averaging 33.0 points per game across the four games of the series, he is shooting just 40.5 percent from the field and 25.9 percent from three. • Jalen Brunson (knee) available for Game 5 Tuesday
According to TNT’s Jared Greenberg, Jalen Brunson (right knee contusion) is available for Tuesday’s game against the 76ers.

Advice: As expected, Brunson is available as the Knicks look to close out a series on their home court for the first time since 1999. He’ll take on his usual workload despite dealing with multiple injuries. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:38 pm
    • Likely out multiple games
Porzingis (calf) is expected to miss a minimum of several games, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.

Advice: Porzingis has already been ruled out for Game 5 against Miami on Wednesday due to a right soleus strain, but it now appears that he will be headed toward an extended absence. It seems unlikely that Porzingis will return to action for the remainder of Boston's first-round series and could be kept out longer if the team continues to advance in the playoffs. With the 28-year-old big man sidelined, Al Horford should slide into the starting lineup, with Luke Kornet and Xavier Tillman competing for bench minutes. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:37 pm
