    • Considered questionable for Game 1
Leonard (knee) is questionable for Sunday's Game 1 against the Mavericks, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: The Clippers announced Thursday that Leonard received an injection in his left knee, and there's "cautious optimism" that he'll be ready for Sunday's matchup, per Shams Charania of The Athletic. While Leonard returned to practice Monday, he hasn't yet been cleared for 5-on-5 drills. Clippers president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank said Thursday that he isn't sure whether Leonard will need to participate in full-contact work before he's cleared to return to game action but said that the inflammation needs to continue to reduce. Lawrence said that he's hopeful the issue is trending in the right direction and that Leonard will play but also indicated that the 32-year-old's status remains up in the air. • Shams: Kawhi Leonard received knee injection
Kawhi Leonard received an injection in his right knee, but there is “cautious optimism” that he will be able to suit up for Game 1 on Sunday against Dallas.

Advice: Kawhi was sidelined for the final eight games of the regular season, but the team is expecting him to available for Game 1. However, they won’t officially say one way or another until closer to Sunday. P.J. Tucker has been starting in his place, and he will return to playing a bench role if Leonard is back. • Receives injection in knee
Leonard (knee) recently received an injection to aid in his recovery, and there is "cautious optimism" that he'll be ready for Sunday's Game 1 against Dallas, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported Thursday.

Advice: Leonard was unavailable for the Clippers' final eight games of the regular season due to right knee inflammation. He returned to practice Monday but hasn't yet been cleared for 5-on-5 drills. The Clippers will likely wait to see how his knee responds to his recent treatment before determining his status for the start of postseason play Sunday, but even if he isn't cleared for Game 1, it wouldn't be surprising to see him return sometime during the Clippers' first-round series. • Double-double in loss Wednesday
Adebayo posted 10 points (5-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt), 12 rebounds, one assist and two blocks across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 105-104 Play-In Game loss to the 76ers.

Advice: Adebayo wasn't as involved as expected on the offensive end of the court, as he had to deal with a tough matchup against Joel Embiid, but he still found a way to finish with a double-double even though the Heat lost. Knowing the Heat will be without Jimmy Butler (knee) for Friday's game against the Bulls, Adebayo should experience an uptick in usage rate and volume while matching up against Nikola Vucevic, who's not as talented as Embiid on the defensive end of the court. • Finishes season with 22 points
Young finished Wednesday's 131-116 Play-In Game loss to Chicago with 22 points (4-12 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 11-13 FT), two rebounds and 10 assists over 43 minutes.

Advice: Young may have played his last game in an Atlanta uniform Wednesday night. Young will likely test the market after a disappointing end to the 2023-24 season, and it seems to be foregone conclusion that he'll be headed elsewhere. The Hawks went 12-11 during Young's most recent absence, proving that the current roster can play break-even ball without him. Young's departure will free up considerable cap space, and with Dejounte Murray locked into a deal, the Hawks may look for a capable off-the-ball guard to complement him. • Trae Young posts 22/10 double-double in loss
Trae Young struggled on Wednesday but finished with 22 points (4-of-12 FGs, 11-of-13 FTs), two rebounds, 10 assists, three triples and six turnovers against the Bulls.

Advice: Despite previously being undefeated in the Play-In Tournament, the magic ran out for Trae and the Hawks in this one. This was their third straight appearance in the Play-In after making the Eastern Conference Finals before that. While Young was able to come away with a 20-point double-double, his inefficient shooting and turnovers certainly weren’t pretty. He was a team-worst -27 in 43 minutes, which means they outscored Chicago by 12 points in his five minutes on the bench. There had already been plenty of rumors suggesting that Atlanta could trae Young this summer, and after a performance like this, those rumors will certainly heat up. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:36 pm
    • Not cleared for 5-on-5
Coach Tyronn Lue said Wednesday that Leonard (knee) is progressing but hasn't been cleared for 5-on-5 drills yet, Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.com reports.

Advice: Leonard missed the final eight regular-season games due to right knee inflammation but returned to practice Monday, albeit in a limited fashion. His official status for Sunday's Game 1 against the Mavericks won't be known until Saturday afternoon, but Lue said he's preparing as if Leonard will be available to start the postseason. • Stephen Curry scores team-high 22 points vs. Kings
Stephen Curry shot 8-of-16 from the field and 3-of-3 from the foul line in Tuesday’s 118-94 loss to the Kings, scoring 22 points with four rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block, and three 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

Advice: Curry’s 15th NBA season came to a disappointing end, even though he led the Warriors in scoring. Six turnovers countered the shooting percentages, and the Warriors committed 16. Looking ahead to next season, Curry is one of the few “sure things” on the roster. Beginning the 2023-24 campaign with a Yahoo ADP of 6.7, he ranked within the top 20 in 8-cat formats and the top 25 in 9-cat. Whether or not Curry is worthy of being selected with a top-10 pick in drafts will depend partially on what the Warriors’ overall roster looks like. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:02 pm
    • Domantas Sabonis posts 16/12/7/2/1 line vs. GSW
Domantas Sabonis finished Tuesday’s 118-94 win over the Warriors with 16 points (7-of-14 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs), 12 rebounds, seven assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in 37 minutes.

Advice: Sabonis and the Kings are one step closer to a second straight playoff berth, as they took advantage of offensive rebounds and Warriors turnovers to keep their season alive. The NBA leader in double-doubles recorded another on Tuesday, finishing three assists shy of a triple-double. Also, Sabonis only committed one turnover in his 37 minutes on the floor. The Kings will visit New Orleans on Friday, with the winner receiving the West’s No. 8-seed. New Orleans won all five regular-season meetings by an average of 19.0 points. Rotoworld Tuesday, 9:55 pm
