      Kyrie Irving finished Friday’s 114-101 win over the Clippers with 30 points (11-of-19 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), six rebounds, four assists, two steals, two blocks, and five 3-pointers in 42 minutes.

      Advice: Game 6 was a tale of two halves for Irving, whose increased focus on the defensive end of the floor may have limited his energy on offense. At various points in Friday’s win, he was responsible for guarding James Harden or Paul George. After missing both of his field goal attempts and scoring two points in the first half, Kyrie went off in the second. The 28 points tied a career playoff high for most in a half, and he combined with Luka Doncic to score 58 of Dallas’ 114 points. Irving must bring similar defensive energy to the table in the second round, as Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the Thunder are up next. Game 1 of that series is on Tuesday.       Darius Garland shot 10-of-16 from the field in Friday’s 103-96 loss to the Magic, tallying 21 points, six rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer in 43 minutes.

      Advice: Garland surpassed the 20-point mark for a second consecutive game, again shooting above 50% from the field. However, it’s difficult to win when players not named Garland or Donovan Mitchell combine to score 25 points. Max Strus was the only other Cavalier in double figures, and he scored 10 points while also tallying eight rebounds, one assist, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 39 minutes.       Advice: Irving caught fire in Sunday’s Game 4 defeat, shooting 14-of-25 from the field and 6-of-12 from beyond the arc. He cooled off considerably in Game 5, specifically from three (1-of-7), but still managed to shoot 5-of-7 from two. Luka Doncic snapped out of his self-proclaimed funk, and other Mavericks stepped up as they handed the Clippers their worst postseason defeat in franchise history.       Carter closed Tuesday's 104-103 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs with seven points (3-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, three blocks and one steal across 33 minutes.

      Advice: Despite a quiet night offensively, Carter still had a big impact on the game, particularly on the boards and the defensive end.       Advice: Garland got off to a scorching hot start in this game and scored 17 points in the first quarter to help the Cavs jump out to a 33-23 lead. Unfortunately, he didn’t do much scoring after that. This has been a poor series for Garland, so it was encouraging to see him get off to a strong start, and he ended up having his highest-scoring game of the series.       Michael Porter Jr. lit up the Lakers with 26 points (8-of-12 FGs), four rebounds, one assist, two steals and five triples on Monday.

      Advice: MPJ had a spectacular series, which included him scoring at least 20 points in the final four games after scoring 19 in Game 1. However, what shouldn’t go unnoticed is that he logged 46 minutes in this game to help close out the series. He’s just two years removed from only playing nine games, and he has now played 86 games this season with only one absence. Porter Jr. has been fantastic, and they’ll need him to stay hot in their second round matchup with the Timberwolves if they hope to repeat as champions. Rotoworld Monday, 9:41 pm

      Beal posted nine points (4-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt), one rebound, two assists and one block over 31 minutes before fouling out of Sunday's 122-116 loss to Minnesota in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

      Advice: This was Beal's worst game of the playoffs, and it resulted in the Suns getting swept by the Timberwolves in the first round. For the fifth straight campaign, Beal was unable to eclipse 60 games and struggled with injuries. He ended up making 53 appearances in his first season with the Suns, posting averages of 18.2 points, 5.0 assists, 4.4 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.9 three-pointers.       Booker accumulated 49 points (13-21 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 20-21 FT), five rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals in 45 minutes during Sunday's 122-116 loss to Minnesota in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

      Advice: Minnesota swept the Suns on Sunday, but Booker did everything he could to keep Phoenix in contention during a back-and-forth matchup, logging his fourth-highest scoring total of the season while contributing on both ends of the court. Booker remained dominant during his age-27 season, averaging 27.1 points, 6.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds in 36.0 minutes per game.
