    • Anthony Edwards, Rudy Gobert questionable Friday
Anthony Edwards (low back spasms) and Rudy Gobert (left rib sprain) are questionable for Friday’s game against the Nuggets.

Advice: Edwards has not missed a game since March 4 and tends to play through ailments if possible. As for Gobert, he hasn’t missed any of Minnesota’s last three games despite a lingering rib issue. Nickeil Alexander-Walker (Edwards) and Naz Reid (Gobert) are the players most impacted by whether or not the Timberwolves’ usual starters are cleared to play. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:02 pm
    • Keldon Johnson (knee) questionable Friday vs. NYK
Keldon Johnson (right knee soreness) is questionable for Friday’s game against the Knicks.

Advice: Johnson did not play in Wednesday’s win over Utah, with his absence freeing up additional minutes for fellow reserves Malaki Branham and Cedi Osman. While Branham offers a higher fantasy upside as a scorer, Osman is the better option for deep-league managers needing rebounds and assists. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:33 pm
    • Questionable for Friday
Edwards (back) is questionable for Friday's game in Denver.

Advice: The Timberwolves have listed Edwards as questionable throughout March with various injuries, but he's yet to miss a game. Fantasy managers can expect to get official confirmation on the Ant-Man's status closer to Friday's tip. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:10 pm
    • Questionable for Friday
Johnson (knee) is questionable to face the Knicks on Friday, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports.

Advice: Johnson missed the Wednesday game against the Jazz due to knee soreness, and the Spurs will wait until Friday to make a decision on the forward. Johnson is averaging 16.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game since the beginning of March. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:53 pm
    • Leads Minnesota in scoring
Reid supplied 21 points (9-18 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds and four assists across 31 minutes during Wednesday's 106-91 victory over the Pistons.

Advice: Reid was uncharacteristically poor from three-point range, as he failed to make multiple threes for the first time since March 12. However, he still played a prominent role on offense and led Minnesota in scoring, perhaps embracing the more significant role due to Anthony Edwards' subpar outing. Reid has scored over 15 points in five games in a row and in seven of his last eight contests, averaging 20.4 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 44.4 percent from deep during that eight-game stretch. • Subpar against Detroit
Edwards totaled nine points (4-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 0-2 FT), three rebounds, five assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Wednesday's 106-91 win over Detroit.

Advice: Edwards had one of his lowest scoring performances of the season Wednesday, failing to reach double digits for just the seventh time in the current campaign, and overall, he looked rusty and out of sync most of the time. Edwards is simply too talented to struggle for a prolonged stretch, however, and he should be able to bounce back when the Timberwolves take on the Nuggets in a marquee matchup Friday. • Leads team in rebounding
Vucevic had 22 points (9-20 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 12 rebounds and two assists over 29 minutes during Wednesday's 125-99 victory over the Pacers.

Advice: Vucevic's team-high 12 rebounds helped him post his 41st double-double of 2023-24 during Wednesday's blowout win. Despite shooting 28.1 percent from three on the season, Vucevic has seen a slight uptick in his efficiency recently, converting 32.1 percent of his 3.8 three-point attempts across his 14 appearances in March. • Scores season-high 31 points
Banton registered 31 points (13-23 FG, 5-11 3Pt), five rebounds, nine assists and two steals across 37 minutes during Wednesday's 120-106 loss to the Hawks.

Advice: Banton posted his best scoring mark of the campaign, and he also extended his impressive stretch of games with double-digit points to nine despite coming off the bench in the last six. Banton is averaging 18.8 points per game in that nine-game stretch, and he'll aim to keep that run alive when facing the Heat on Friday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:35 am
    • Shut down for season
The Hornets announced Thursday that Ball (ankle) will miss the remainder of the season.

Advice: Ball hasn't played since Jan. 26 due to an injury the Hornets initially labeled as right ankle soreness before eventually updating his diagnosis as right ankle tendinopathy. Though head coach Steve Clifford suggested earlier this month that Ball was doing more work on the court, the Hornets weren't willing to put a timeline on his return to the court. Ultimately, Ball didn't demonstrate enough progress in his recovery from the right ankle injury to make it back for the final two-plus weeks of the season and will be shut down for the remainder of the campaign as he turns his focus to further rehab. Ball has now played just 58 games over the past two seasons due to injuries, but he was productive during his time on the court when healthy in 2023-24, as he averaged 23.9 points, 8.0 assists, 5.1 rebounds, 3.2 three-pointers and 1.8 steals in 32.3 minutes per game over his 22 appearances. Provided he doesn't require any offseason procedures on his right ankle, Ball should be fully healed ahead of training camp in the fall. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:08 am
