  • Jimmy Butler (knee) out Monday, doubtful Wed
Jimmy Butler (strained knee) will not play Monday and he will "likely" miss Wednesday's game vs. the Hawks.

Advice: Butler met with a team physician on Sunday but the Bulls have not provided an update on his status, and it's unclear whether he'll suit up for the All-Star game. Barring a positive update after Monday's shootaround, owners in weekly leagues should keep Butler on their benches heading into the break. E'Twaun Moore had 17 points, three 3-pointers and seven assists as a starter on Saturday, and he's worth a look as a punt play in DFS. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:21 pm
  • Cole Aldrich hauls in 11 rebounds in win
Cole Aldrich pulled down 11 rebounds in just 13 minutes of action on Sunday, to go with five points, one assist, two blocks and one turnover.

Advice: Aldrich rarely does much of anything in Los Angeles, and we'll need to see multiple repeat performances before recommending him as an add in any league. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:27 pm
  • Evan Turner dishes nine assists in home win
Evan Turner had another strong game in 27 minutes on Sunday, posting 11 points, nine assists, four rebounds and one block in a win vs. Sacramento.

Advice: The Celtics have now won seven straight games at TD Garden, their longest such streak since 2013, and they'll get one more pre-break home game vs. the Clippers on Wednesday. Turner has been terrific in February, averaging 15.7 points, 9.3 boards, 5.0 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks -- his role is stable and he's worth deploying in typical leagues. • Avery Bradley hits 6-of-7 triples, scores 25
Avery Bradley drained 6-of-7 shots from downtown on Sunday, finishing with a team-high 25 points, three rebounds and three assists in 34 minutes vs. the Kings.

Advice: He hit a game-winner vs. the Cavaliers on Friday and kept it going tonight, helping the surging Celtics hang on for a 128-119 home victory. It's encouraging to see him play this well in Boston, where he's been averaging 3.3 fewer points on considerably worse shooting from the field (40.8 percent) and the FT line (73.1 percent). He's been a top-50 value over the Celtics' past dozen games (9-cat) and is poised for a strong finish to the season. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:41 pm
  • James Anderson quiet as starter w/ Gay out
James Anderson started Sunday's game in place of Rudy Gay (ankle), but finished with only two points, two rebounds and two blocks in 18 minutes.

Advice: George Karl may have started Anderson ahead of Omri Casspi to give the second unit more offensive punch. Regardless, Anderson's dud wasn't the least bit surprising -- his lone double-digit scoring game came back on Nov. 4, and he's not an option in any fantasy format. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:39 pm
  • DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) drops 31/7/6 Sunday
DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 31 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three 3-pointers on Sunday, making 11-of-25 FGs and 6-of-8 FTs in a tough road loss to the Celtics.

Advice: The Kings have now lost seven of their past eight games and their season has reached a tipping point -- they are 4.5 games out of the playoff picture and may have a new head coach after the All-Star break. Cousins was coming off a triple-double and over the past three games he's averaged 28.3 points, 9.3 boards and 6.7 assists -- he'll be a fantasy stud no matter who's calling the shots in Sacramento. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 1:37 pm
  • Jeff Teague scores 24 points with five dimes
Jeff Teague hit 10-of-17 shots for 24 points on Sunday, to go with five assists, three 3-pointers, one rebound, one steal and an unfortunate five turnovers through 35 minutes of action.

Advice: Teague did briefly exit the game after getting hit in the left side, but he played through it and it didn't look like an injury that would force him to miss any time. Jeff has been playing much better over the past two weeks, putting in averages of 17.3 points, 5.4 assists, 1.6 three-pointers, 1.9 steals and 3.0 turnovers per game on 53.8 percent shooting, which has been good enough for second-round value in standard leagues. Dennis Schroder no longer seems to be a threat to Teague's minutes. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:28 pm
  • James Anderson will start on Sunday
James Anderson will start on Sunday vs. the Celtics.

Advice: Omri Casspi was expected to start in place of Rudy Gay (ankle), so this is an odd move to say the least. Coach George Karl is on the hot seat, so this move could backfire if the Kings can't get a result. Anderson is not an option in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:09 am
  • Tobias Harris (ankle) will not play Sunday
Tobias Harris (sore left ankle) will not play on Sunday vs. the Hawks.

Advice: He was initially dealing with a cut above his eye and was expected to play, but he was held out of practice on Saturday due to soreness in his left ankle. Harris does have a history of ankle issues, so the Magic might just be exercising some caution here. With Harris on the shelf, we can expect to see a lot of Aaron Gordon today, while Mario Hezonja should see more playing time as well. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:14 am
  • James Harden (finger) says he is fine
James Harden (finger) believes that he should be all right.

Advice: "My middle finger bent back," Harden said. "It's swollen a little bit, but it should be all right." Harden didn't play down the stretch in Sunday's game vs. the Blazers, but it was likely due to the lopsided score and he said that it would've have been "pointless" for him to keep playing. Harden should be considered day-to-day, but it would be surprising if he didn't play vs. the Warriors on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:21 am
  • Report: Kenneth Faried is not on the trade block
According to the Denver Post, Kenneth Faried is not officially on the trade block.

Advice: The Manimal has plenty of suitors and his value is very high around the league, but the Denver Post said that it would take a "too good to be true" offer to convince the Nuggets to part ways with the athletic forward. It's still unclear if the Nuggets will be buyers or sellers at the trade deadline, but nothing is imminent by any means. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:10 am
  • DeMarcus Cousins and Rondo are probable
DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) and Rajon Rondo (turf toe) are both probable for Sunday's game vs. the Celtics.

Advice: The Kings likely won't update their status before tip-off, but both players are going to play barring a late setback. The Kings have lost six out of their last seven games and coach George Karl is on the hot seat, so Sunday's game vs. the Celtics is going to be very interesting. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 6:48 am
  • Damian Lillard praises Gerald Henderson
Damian Lillard attributes Gerald Henderson's recent success to him being healthy.

Advice: "I think he's just healthy," Lillard said. "He was coming off hip surgery, so it took some time for him to get in shape. He missed training camp. He had to get in shape, he had to get his rhythm back, he had to get his feel back, get comfortable with our sets, comfortable being out there with the guys. I think the last couple of weeks, you're starting to see him get comfortable. He's finally back." Henderson is averaging 13.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in February, but his expiring contract could draw some interest at the trade deadline. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 6:13 am
  • Jimmy Butler returned to action on Friday February 5. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:55 pm
  • Gordon Hayward scores 22 points in win
Gordon Hayward scored 22 points in a win over the Suns on Saturday with six boards, three assists, one steal, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes.

Advice: He has been logging heavy playing time over his last four games, averaging 39.5 minutes in that span. The Jazz were missing Trey Burke (illness) tonight and Alec Burks (ankle) is expected to return after the All-Star break, so help is on the way for the Jazz. With Utah right in the middle of the playoff hunt, Hayward's mid-round value is safe for the remainder of the season. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:48 pm
  • Stephen Curry scores 26, Warriors beat OKC
Stephen Curry scored a team-high 26 points during a 116-108 win over the Thunder on Saturday, adding six rebounds, 10 assists, three steals and one 3-pointer.

Advice: OKC held Steph in check for just his second game with just one 3-pointer this season. The Warriors were still able to get a win after blowing an 18-point lead and are currently on pace for the best record ever at 46-4. As for Curry, that one trey makes it 121 consecutive games with one triple while he also became No. 3 on the franchise's all-time steals list. He is making last year's MVP run seem ordinary. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:46 pm
  • Danny Green scores 11 points in win
Danny Green scored 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting with five boards, two assists, one steal, two blocks and three 3-pointers in 29 minutes in a win over the Lakers on Saturday.

Advice: His production has been sporadic all season, but nights like these are why it's so difficult for us to let him go. Green is now averaging 9.6 points, 5.0 boards, 1.4 assists, 0.6 blocks, 0.6 steals and 2.4 3-pointers over his last five games which is only good for top-100 value, but he's still a hold in standard leagues as long as you have some patience. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:34 pm
  • Enes Kanter playing well right now
Enes Kanter scored 14 points with 15 rebounds and one assist against the Warriors on Saturday.

Advice: He is actually in a really nice rhythm in his last five, averaging 17.2 points, 9.4 boards, 0.8 blocks and 0.4 steals on 63.2 percent from the field and 92.9 percent from the line. This is probably his peak, so try to sell high if you can. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:14 pm
  • James Harden scores 33, hurts right hand
James Harden suffered an apparent minor right hand injury on Saturday, finishing with 33 points, eight rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block, four 3-pointers and 10 turnovers.

Advice: He had ice on his hand for most of the fourth quarter because the Rockets were blown out tonight. Harden did play through his hand issue for a few minutes before going to the bench, so chances are this is minor. He also took the ice pack off his hand for the final two minutes. For now, there shouldn't be much concern, but you never know when it comes to a hand injury. We'll pass along any info if he needs an X-ray. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 4:36 pm
  • Jimmy Butler (knee) did not suffer tear
Jimmy Butler (left knee) was diagnosed with a knee strain and did not suffer damage to his ligaments.

Advice: This is great news, but he is out Friday and Saturday. The diagnosis of a strain means it's something muscle related or it could be something with a tendon near his joint. Butler doesn't have a timetable to return, but it looks like he at least has a chance to be back this month. This may hurt his chance to play in the All-Star Game. Mike Dunleavy (back) should benefit while E'Twaun Moore and Tony Snell could help out. Derrick Rose will be very busy, too. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:10 pm
  • Jimmy Butler (knee) ruled out Saturday
Jimmy Butler (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game vs. the Wolves.

Advice: He is reportedly dealing with a hyperextended left knee, but the Bulls still haven't released the results of his MRI. Until then, he should be considered day-to-day. Derrick Rose, Tony Snell and E'Twaun Moore will all have to step up in Butler's absence. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 11:19 am
  • Tobias Harris (eye) is expected to play
Tobias Harris (eye) is expected to play on Sunday vs. the Hawks.

Advice: He is dealing with a cut above his left eye that required stitches, but the injury sounds very minor. There will be another update after Sunday's morning shootaround, but it's safe to pencil him into all active lineups. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:39 am
  • Danny Green scores eight points w/ two treys
Danny Green scored eight points on 3-of-8 shooting Friday, to go with two 3-pointers, four boards, one assist and one turnover in 27 minutes.

Advice: Mr. Green has become elite at following up productive outing with meaningless stat lines, although he has managed to produce fifth-round value in 9-cat leagues over the past two weeks with averages of 9.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.7 three-pointers on 45.7 percent shooting. He can be truly infuriating to own, but with the upward trend, he's a hold in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 10:22 pm
  • Report: Jimmy Butler hyperextended left knee?
Jimmy Butler reportedly hyperextended his left knee, and while he'll likely sit out Saturday's game vs. the Timberwolves there's a chance he can play Monday vs. Charlotte or Wednesday vs. Atlanta.

Advice: Butler is going to get an MRI on Saturday morning, but this report is great news if it turns out to be true. Owners can expect another update tomorrow morning, but with Jimmy likely sidelined on Saturday, Tony Snell figures to enter the starting five with E'Twuan Moore seeing some increased opportunity on offense. Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol (hand) will be busy on offense for however long Jimmy Buckets is out. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:41 pm
  • Evan Turner double-doubles in 32 minutes
Evan Turner double-doubled in 32 minutes off the bench during Friday's win over the Cavs, tallying 19 points on 8-of-16 shooting with 12 boards, six assists, one block and one turnover.

Advice: Jae Crowder (ankle) said after the game that he felt like he was playing on one leg, so he may be forced to the sidelines on Sunday vs. Sacramento, which would likely result in Turner returning to the starting lineup. While Evan isn't the most exciting guy to own, he's been producing late-round value over the past month behind averages of 9.6 points, 4.5 boards, 4.8 assists and 1.0 steal on 48.5 percent shooting. He's worth owning in most leagues, particularly with Crowder hurting. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:21 pm
  • Jimmy Butler (knee) will have an MRI on Sat
Fred Hoiberg said that Jimmy Butler will have an MRI on his sprained left knee on Saturday, and added that the Bulls will need to prepare to play without Butler "for a while no matter what."

Advice: Hoiberg did say that the ligaments in Butler's left knee are "intact," but Jimmy said he heard a "pop" in his knee and it would be shocking to see him suit up for Saturday's game in Minnesota. Butler exited the arena on crutches and could be looking at a potentially looking at a lengthy absence, so E'Twaun Moore is someone to consider as a speculative add in deep leagues, while more minutes will be falling to guys like Doug McDermott and Tony Snell. Derrick Rose and Pau Gasol (hand) will be doing the heavy lifting on offense for however long Butler is out. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:09 pm
  • Boogie Cousins triple-doubles in loss to BK
DeMarcus Cousins put up his first triple-double of the season with 24 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in 40 minutes against the Nets during a 128-119 loss on Friday.

Advice: Boogie was not happy at the end of this game as his team allowed the Nets to score a season-high 128. "Not going to keep blaming the guys in the locker room," Cousins said. "We got a bigger issue." Fire up the grass and snake emojis? The Kings are fading fast while the Jazz have won five straight, so the Kings have a tough job on their hands. Expect the DeMarcus Cousins trade rumors to start up in some capacity even if they don't hold a lot of weight. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:06 pm
  • Jimmy Butler (left knee) will not return Fri
Jimmy Butler (left knee sprain) will not return to Friday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Advice: Butler was carted off the court, although he was able to walk from the X-ray room to the locker room under his own power, and was in relatively good spirits saying, "Ya'll get me the Forrest Gump knee brace!" Butler is likely headed for an MRI, and for now, we'll be considering him doubtful for Saturday's game vs. the Timberwolves. Tony Snell started the second-half in Butler's place, and with Buckets sidelined there will be more opportunity for Derrick Rose and E'Twaun Moore. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:42 pm
  • Jeff Teague scored 16 points vs. Pacers
Jeff Teague made 5-of-9 from the field for 16 points with five rebounds, four assists and one steal in 30 minutes against the Pacers on Friday.

Advice: It's not a great game, but it's not a step back. Teague has been in a solid groove in his last five, averaging 18.6 points, 2.8 boards, 5.2 assists, 1.6 steals and 1.8 treys on 52.2 percent form the field. Believe it or not, Teague has posted second-round value in the last seven games. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:35 pm
  • Avery Bradley scores 14, hits game-winning 3
Avery Bradley scored 14 points on 5-of-12 shooting Friday, to go with three rebounds, one assist, one block, two turnovers and four 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

Advice: Bradley also drained a clutch 3-pointer during the closing seconds of the game (video below) to steal the win on Cleveland's home court. He's been a mid-round guy on the year, and is worth owning in all leagues for his solid contributions to points (14.8), 3-pointers (2.0) and steals (1.6). Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:29 pm
  • Jimmy Butler (left leg) gets carted off
Jimmy Butler suffered a left leg injury and was carted off the court in Denver on Friday.

Advice: He had a bad collision with Joffrey Lauvergne and had a really ugly fall. Butler was put in a wheelchair for a few seconds, but he got up to shoot the free throws. He did not put much weight on his leg as he was put into the wheelchair again. We'll look for an update shortly, but this does not look good. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:18 pm
  • Tobias Harris gets stitches above eye
Tobias Harris received stitches above his left eye and he will not return.

Advice: He was bleeding quite a bit as he went to the locker room. Harris may go through concussion testing, but there is no word of anything on that front yet. He has a good chance to play on Sunday against the Hawks. Harris finished with 13 points, eight rebounds and one turnover in 28 minutes. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:20 pm
  • DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo start
DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo are starting against the Nets on Friday.

Advice: They were expected to play the whole time and the Kings probably should've never even said they were probable. Cousins should be the focal point as per usual tonight in Brooklyn. Rotoworld.com Friday, 4:41 pm
  • Jimmy Butler (knee) starting vs. DEN Friday
Jimmy Butler (knee tendinitis) will start Friday's game vs. the Nuggets, as expected.

Advice: Pau Gasol is out tonight and the Bulls are opting to start Cameron Bairstow, so Jimmy should be even busier than usual offensively. Make sure he's looked into your active lineups. Rotoworld.com Friday, 4:33 pm
  • Karl and Cousins are doing OK
Coach George Karl said DeMarcus Cousins is "cool" and he's "enjoyed the adventure" of tweaking his offensive game.

Advice: "I don't think Boogie is ever going to like coaches," Karl said. Karl did admit he did "stupid" things involving Cousins, so it was nice to see him take the blame. Karl praised Cousins' attitude in the preseason, as well. Cousins is expected to play tonight. Rotoworld.com Friday, 2:39 pm
  • Cousins, Rondo and McLemore expect to play
DeMarcus Cousins (ankle, knee), Rajon Rondo (toe) and Ben McLemore (wrist) are all expected to play against the Nets on Friday.

Advice: This isn't the biggest update of the day because all three are probable. Cousins had a couple minor bumps and bruises on Wednesday and it seems like every night he's suffering at least something small. For now, his owners can keep him in their lineups. Rotoworld.com Friday, 1:58 pm
  • Jimmy Butler (knee) says he will play Friday
Jimmy Butler (knee) said he will play against the Nuggets on Friday and is now listed as probable.

Advice: This is somewhat surprising after the Bulls said they wanted to be smart with Butler's knee. This isn't an official "will play" piece of news, but he's looking good to give it a go. That makes E'Twaun Moore less appealing tonight while Tony Snell will move back to the bench. We'll confirm this news as the days goes on. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:18 am
  • Cousins, Rondo, McLemore all probable for SAC
DeMarcus Cousins (ankle, knee), Rajon Rondo (toe) and Ben McLemore (wrist) are all listed as probable for Friday's game against the Nets.

Advice: All three played on Wednesday, but Rondo didn't look great and Cousins went down a couple times during the game after getting popped in the knees. It sounds like all three players are good to go, but it's probably best to watch for updates just in case something comes up during the day on Friday. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:21 pm
  • James Harden scores just 17 points
James Harden was quiet during a 111-105 win over the Suns on Thursday, scoring 17 points with nine rebounds, six assists, two steals and two 3-pointers on 4-of-19 from the field.

Advice: Interestingly, coach J.B. Bickerstaff pulled all of his starters four minutes into the the game because of sloppy play. They obviously turned it around, though. Harden usually lights up the Suns and he is also solid on the road, so this is a shocking letdown. He'll be fine and should be a top-five player going forward in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:30 pm
  • DeMarcus Cousins scores 30 in loss
DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) returned from a one-game absence and scored 30 points during a 107-102 loss to the Bulls on Wednesday, adding 11 rebounds, four assists, three steals, two blocks and six turnovers.

Advice: He was 12-of-25 from the field and 6-of-11 from the line for a 38.1 usage rate in his 37 minutes. Cousins was bothered by something at the end of the game and said something to Bulls assistant Randy Brown. "We just had a few words, nothing serious, just trash talk," Cousins said after the game. Boogie also had a couple leg injuries tonight, but it didn't affect his playing time. He is dodging some bullets when it comes to injuries right now. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:55 pm
  • Danny Green scores 16 points in 39 minutes
Danny Green scored 16 points with seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and four 3-pointers in a season-high 39 minutes against the Pelicans on Wednesday.

Advice: Green did not hit the 30-minute mark in any game since Jan. 8, so this is a shock. He has more ups and downs than an entire amusement park of roller coasters, but Green is putting up value. In 2016, he has put up sixth-round value in his last 15 games, so it's hard to complain too much. Keep him owned in all leagues and remember not to complain to your friends too much about the bad Green nights. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:01 pm
  • Stephen Curry scores 51 with 11 triples
Stephen Curry scored 51 points during a 134-121 win over the Wizards on Wednesday, adding seven rebounds, two assists, three steals, seven turnovers and a career-high-tying 11 3-pointers.

Advice: He was a ridiculous 13-of-14 from the field in the first half with eight treys, which gave him a laughable 121.4 effective field goal percentage. Curry was coming off his worst game of the season from an efficiency standpoint, but he definitely got it right back. He became the first player to hit more than 10 treys in multiple games. Get ready for a great game on Saturday night with Steph vs. Russell Westbrook. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:20 pm
  • Avery Bradley bounces back from off night
Avery Bradley, who came into this one under the weather, hit 7-of-15 shots for 15 points, four rebounds, three assists and a 3-poitner in Wednesday's win.

Advice: Bradley hit just 3-of-13 shots on Tuesday, but looked much better tonight. He also led the Celtics with 36 minutes played, meaning he should continue to be owned in most fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:58 pm
  • Jeff Teague quiet in blowout win vs. Philly
Jeff Teague finished Wednesday's blowout win with 10 points, two 3-pointers, three rebounds, three assists and three steals in 23 minutes of action.

Advice: It's a disappointing follow-up to Teague's 32-point eruption on Monday, but he actually played the second-most minutes of any starter, behind only Paul Millsap (10 points, four boards in 25 minutes). He's trending upward despite a cloud of trade rumors that will follow him until the deadline on Feb. 18. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:18 pm
  • DeMarcus Cousins will play on Wednesday
DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) will play against the Bulls on Wednesday.

Advice: Sam Amick of USA Today adds the Kings need this win, which is true due to teams like the Blazers getting hot. Boogie's return will bump Kosta Koufos back to the bench while he takes shots away from basically the entire team due to his league-leading usage rate. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 5:20 pm
  • Avery Bradley a little under the weather
Avery Bradley was a little under the weather on Tuesday and is still fully expected to play on Wednesday against the Pistons.

Advice: He struggled Tuesday with just six points. It sounds like he's feeling a little better, so use him like you normally would. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 2:48 pm
  • Boogie, McLemore and Rondo shoot around
DeMarcus Cousins (ankle), Rajon Rondo (turf toe) and Ben McLemore (wrist) all went through shootaround on Wednesday.

Advice: This is a good sign for Cousins, but he's still questionable for now and is almost certainly going to be a game-time decision for tonight's late start. If he can't go, that should mean more minutes for Kosta Koufos, Willie Cauley-Stein and Omri Casspi. The Kings usually have an official report in the afternoon. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:42 am
  • Gerald Henderson scores 14 w/ nine boards
Gerald Henderson scored 14 points with nine rebounds, one block and one 3-pointer in 22 minutes on Tuesday vs. the Bucks.

Advice: He has scored in double digits in four out of his last five games, but his recent spike in playing time could be because the Blazers are trying to boost his value prior to the trade deadline. Regardless, Henderson doesn't have much upside and his role with minutes in the lower 20s is not appealing, so he can be left on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:59 pm
  • James Harden hands out season-high 14 dimes
James Harden hit 10-of-19 shots and three 3-pointers on his way to 26 points, four rebounds, a season-high 14 assists, two steals and a block in Tuesday's win over the Heat.

Advice: It wasn't a 40-point bomb like he dropped on Saturday, but it was pretty darn good. And don't look now, but he's hit at least half his shots in four of his last five games. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:24 pm
  • Evan Turner double-doubles in win
Evan Turner played 29 minutes off the bench and hit 6-of-13 shots for 14 points, 10 rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Advice: Marcus Smart really struggled tonight and Turner took advantage. He's averaging 13.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.6 steals, but is not a 3-point shooter. Given how well he's playing, he should be owned in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:57 pm
  • Avery Bradley scores six points in win
Avery Bradley hit just 3-of-13 shots for six points, three rebounds and four assists in Tuesday's win.

Advice: Bradley hasn't been able to string together a hot streak since returning from his hip injury and has scored 27, 6, 22 and 6 points in each of his last four games. He's still getting more than 30 minutes on most nights and should break out of the funk sooner than later. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:45 pm
  • G Time Flies: Gordon Hayward scores 27 points
Gordon Hayward scored 27 points against the Bulls during a 105-96 overtime win on Monday with 12 rebounds, seven assists, one steal and one 3-pointer in 44 minutes.

Advice: He hit a clutch shot at the rim to tie it in regulation with four seconds left and forced a turnover on the Bulls' next possession. G Time also had one of the prettiest backdoor cuts leading to a jam of the season during OT (in link below). He's playing off the ball more, but its led to fourth-round value in January. Rotoworld.com Monday, 10:50 pm
  • Jeff Teague explodes for 32 points in win
Jeff Teague made 12-of-15 from the field for a season-high 32 points during a 112-97 win over the Mavs on Monday, adding five rebounds, eight assists, one steal and five 3-pointers.

Advice: His five treys were a season high to go with a wonderful 96.7 effective field goal percentage. After a month-long slump, here comes the 2014-15 All-Star with averages of 19.0 points, 2.4 boards, 6.2 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.8 treys in his last five. He's put up second-round value in that span, so anyone who bought low last week probably feels great. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:42 pm
  • Report: Jazz 'considering' Jeff Teague trade
The Jazz are "indeed considering" a Jeff Teague trade, multiple sources told KSL.com.

Advice: There has been a lot of smoke behind this particular rumor, and while it makes sense on the surface for both teams, there has been "no formal contact" made between the two sides. However, the trade deadline is now less than three weeks away, so expect the hot stove to heat up in the near future. One potential issue is Teague's "recurring left ankle injury, the result of spraining it multiple times over the past two seasons." Rotoworld.com Monday, 7:14 am
  • Kerr compares Curry to Price and Steve Nash
Steve Kerr recently compared Stephen Curry to Mark Price and Steve Nash for his offensive abilities.

Advice: "The two guys I’d maybe compare him the most to are Mark Price and Steve Nash in terms of the combination of ball-handling and passing and shooting range and creativity," Nash said. "But Steph has taken it to a new level. But he’s taken it to a new level in terms of just the range, the ballhanding and creativity. It’s pretty special." We agree, coach. We agree. • Stephen Curry struggles vs. the Knicks
Stephen Curry struggled against the Knicks on Sunday, scoring 13 points on just 5-of-17 shooting.

Advice: The Warriors got off to a brutal start to the game and had their lowest-scoring quarter of the season with 18 in the first, but they still got the job done to secure their seventh straight win. The Warriors are now 44-4 on the season and Curry will look to get back on track vs. the Wizards on Wednesday. He added four boards, four assists, three steals and three 3-pointers in 32 minutes. He has a minor cut on his forehead, but he's obviously going to be fine. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 7:19 pm
  • Harden drops 40, Rockets lose third straight
James Harden dropped 40 points in Saturday's 123-122 loss to the Wizards, adding 11 assists, seven boards, four steals and six 3-pointers in 37 minutes.

Advice: The Wizards had no answer for him on the defensive end and he even fouled Garrett Temple out of the game. The Rockets have lost three straight games, but Harden has been playing some incredible ball with averages of 30.2 points, 8.6 boards, 7.6 assists, 1.4 steals, 1.0 blocks and 3.0 treys over his last five games. • Danny Green has a bad game
Danny Green scored five points with three rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes against the Cavs on Saturday.

Advice: You have to take the good with the bad with Green and it was bad tonight. He'll probably have a big game soon and he was shooting 50.0 percent from deep in his previous January games. Hang in there. Rotoworld.com Jan 30, 8:21 pm
  • Stephen Curry scores 23 points vs. 76ers
Stephen Curry scored 23 points with five rebounds, six assists, one steal, two blocks and five 3-pointers against the 76ers on Saturday.

Advice: The Warriors were almost lucky to get this one after they turned in one of their worst quarters during a fourth-quarter collapse. As for Curry, he's hit at least three 3-pointers in 14 straight, which doesn't even match his 17 in a row from November to December. He is going to crush his record for treys in a season. • Celtics inquiring about Teague and Horford?
According to Chris Mannix of CSNNE, the Celtics have reportedly inquired about Jeff Teague and Al Horford of the Hawks.

Advice: The Celtics are probably just doing their due diligence, but Teague would be an odd choice for Boston with Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Smart already on the roster. The Hawks are reportedly ready to "turn the page" on Teague in order to let Dennis Schroder start at point guard, and it should also be noted that teams such as the Jazz and Knicks have also been linked to Teague. Nothing is imminent, but things could heat up as we approach the Feb. 18 trade deadline. Rotoworld.com Jan 30, 9:46 am
  • Danny Green hopes his shot keeps falling
Danny Green is hopeful that his shot will continue to improve.

Advice: "Most nights [the shot] doesn’t feel like you’d like it to," Green said. "My teammates are constantly encouraging me to shoot, and that helps." Green has been in a season-long slump, but he actually hit 25-of-50 3-pointers during the month of January and is coming off an 18-point performance against the Rockets in which he hit six triples. As frustrating as he has been, he shouldn't be sitting on the wire in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Jan 30, 8:47 am
  • Gordon Hayward scores 12 points on nine shots
Gordon Hayward scored 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting Friday, adding five boards, two assists, one 3-pointer and two turnovers in 35 minutes.

Advice: Hayward didn't look for his shot much this game with Derrick Favors and Rodney Hood doing the heavy lifting on offense, but that's not a trend that's likely to continue. He's been a top-40 player over the past month, and he should have no trouble closing out the season as an early-round guy. Rotoworld.com Jan 29, 9:31 pm
  • Enes Kanter drops 22 points vs. Rockets
Enes Kanter scored 22 points with 10 rebounds, one block and two steals in 26 minutes against the Rockets on Saturday.

Advice: That's two really nice 20-10s from Kanter with one coming against the Wolves on Wednesday. The Thunder are using more lineups of Kanter and Steven Adams, but don't forget Kanter dropped two points on Tuesday. He's not a must-have player in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Jan 29, 9:23 pm
  • James Harden scores 33 points in loss
James Harden scored 33 points against the Thunder during a 116-108 loss on Friday, adding seven rebounds, seven assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He's scored more points per game against OKC than any other team. Harden and the Rockets are on a back-to-back and will take on the Wizards on Saturday. He's been terrific on the second half of back-to-backs with 31.2 points per game in those 12 instances, so fire him up in DFS against a sloppy Wizards team. Rotoworld.com Jan 29, 9:18 pm
  • Evan Turner scores 15 off the bench
Evan Turner scored 15 points with two rebounds, eight assists, two steals and three turnovers in 25 minutes against the Magic on Friday.

Advice: He said second unit has been beating the first unit in practice, and he compared it to UConn women's win streak. Jokes aside, Turner has been really good in reality for the second unit. He's still only hanging around top-150 value in standard leagues recently, so he's not an add now that Marcus Smart is back and playing wonderful ball. Rotoworld.com Jan 29, 8:05 pm
  • Tobias Harris scores 10 points in loss
Tobias Harris scored 10 points with seven rebounds and two 3-pointers against the Celtics on Friday.

Advice: Jae Crowder locked him down for some of this game. The lineup change hasn't affected Tobias much, averaging 15.2 points, 6.4 boards, 1.8 assists, 0.8 blocks and 1.6 treys in his last five. He should be a mid-round guy with a fairly high floor. Rotoworld.com Jan 29, 7:43 pm
