    • Kawhi Leonard (knee) out Sunday, maybe longer
      Kawhi Leonard (right knee inflammation) will not play in Sunday’s game 4 against the Mavericks.

      Advice: Clippers president of basketball operations Lawrence Frank announced on Sunday afternoon that Leonard will not play, despite the star forward’s desire to do so. It was reported after Game 3 that Leonard’s knee did not respond as hoped, casting doubt on his status for Sunday. The question now is when he will return, with Frank saying Leonard will not play until he can do all he needs to do on the court from a mobility standpoint.       Advice: Herro had a rough outing Saturday, as he had a tough time when matched up against Jaylen Brown, and he finished the game with more field-goal attempts than points scored. That's not an encouraging performance from a player that needs to steps up offensively, particularly with Jimmy Butler (knee) sidelined.       Advice: Tatum co-led the Celtics in scoring Saturday with Jaylen Brown, but Tatum also made his presence felt in other categories, particularly in the rebounding column, another category in which he led the team. Tatum's eight makes from the charity stripe salvaged what could've been a subpar scoring performance for the star forward, and he'll aim to bounce back from a poor shooting display in Game 4 on Monday.       Jayson Tatum played 38 minutes in Saturday’s 104-84 win over the Heat, tallying 22 points (6-of-16 FGs, 8-of-12 FTs), 11 rebounds, six assists, one block, and two 3-pointers.

      Advice: While Tatum has scored at least 22 points in all three games, he’s been inconsistent regarding accuracy. He shot 50% from the field in Boston’s Game 2 loss but made fewer than 40% of his shots in Games 1 and 3 (both Celtics wins). Outside of the shooting, this was an efficient game for Tatum, who did not commit a turnover while recording his second double-double of the series.       Tyler Herro shot 5-of-16 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Saturday’s Game 3 loss to the Celtics, accounting for 15 points, two rebounds, two assists, and three 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

      Advice: The road team has recently dominated the Celtics/Heat series, and Saturday was no exception. After going off in Miami’s Game 2 victory, Herro was held in check, shooting 2-of-7 from two and finishing with nearly as many turnovers (four) as made baskets (five). The Head didn’t get much from Caleb Martin, either, as he finished with five points, three rebounds, two assists, and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes.       Allen (ankle) is questionable for Game 4 against the Timberwolves on Sunday, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

      Advice: Allen didn't play in Game 3 of the series Friday, and his status is unclear, although the questionable tag leaves the door open for a return in what might be the final game of the Suns' season. His official status will be determined closer to Sunday's 3.30 p.m. ET tipoff, but if he's ruled out, Terance Mann and Amir Coffey would be in line to pick up extra minutes.
