    • Wesley Matthews knocks down five treys
Wesley Matthews extended his league lead for made 3-pointers with five more on Saturday, scoring a total of 19 points with three rebounds, three assists, one steal and no turnovers.

Advice: He is going to play more minutes at small forward, which is fine. Matthews has 10 starts at small forward in his career and he's been shuffled in at small forward even when the Blazers are at full strength. Whatever his role, Iron Man has a chance to lead the NBA in treys this season while launching tons of imaginary arrows. Rotoworld.com

    • Dorell Wright scores 10 in 21 minutes
Dorell Wright scored 10 points with six rebounds, three assists and three 3-pointers in 21 minutes against the Wizards on Saturday.

Advice: After basically three halves of no Nicolas Batum (wrist), Wright looks like the best player to grab in fantasy leagues. That said, we have to caution you that he is going to be shuffled in and out of the lineup, so he's not really a reliable asset in even 16-team leagues right now. Maybe coach Terry Stotts trusts him eventually. Rotoworld.com

    • Nic Batum (wrist) admits he has torn ligament
Nicolas Batum admitted on Saturday that he suffered a torn ligament on the outside of his right wrist on Dec. 17.

Advice: It was obvious something was structurally wrong with Batum and now we know what it is. He's aggravated it probably more times than we care to count and the Blazers may still be weighing his treatment options. At this point, he's likely going to miss a week or two. There really isn't a great pickup to make with Batum out. Rotoworld.com

    • Paul PIerce scores 19 vs. Blazers
Paul Pierce scored 19 points with six rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers in 30 minutes against the Blazers on Saturday.

Advice: He joined Ray Allen, Reggie Miller and Jason Terry as the only player in NBA history to make 2,000 treys in their careers. Pierce has been particularly hot from deep lately with 2.0 makes per game in January while his rebounds have also seen a nice spike. His minutes are also slightly up, so he's worth starting in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Joe Ingles scores career-high 16 points
Joe Ingles scored a career-high 16 points against the Nets on Saturday with one rebound, five assists, one steal and four 3-pointers.

Advice: The 3-pointers were also a career high. Ingles has done most of his damage in dimes, steals and treys, so he's climbing into the top-140 player conversation. With Rodney Hood (foot) out for at least a few weeks and Alec Burks (shoulder) out for the year, Ingles is worth a look in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Joe Cold: Joe Johnson has a rough night
Joe Johnson scored six points with one assist and one block in 29 minutes against the Jazz on Saturday.

Advice: Ouch. The Nets are a complete lost cause on offense right now. In fact, the Nets have not outscored Klay Thompson's third quarter from Friday in three of their last four halves of basketball. Johnson should still be considered as a hold in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Jeff Green has a nice game vs. Philly
Jeff Green made 6-of-11 from the field for 18 points against the 76ers on Saturday with one rebound, one assist and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes.

Advice: Before tonight, his efficiency has been down with his new team. He made 43.4 percent from the field with 1.4 treys with the Celtics this season, but he was at just 38.1 percent from the field with 0.6 treys with the Grizzlies before tonight. There's not a ton of upside here. Rotoworld.com

    • Robert Covington scores just eight points
Robert Covington scored just eight points against the Grizzlies during a 101-83 loss on Saturday to go with one rebound, one steal and two 3-pointers.

Advice: The Grizzlies shut down wings all the time, so Covington gets a pass here. He's making 2.2 treys per game to go with 1.3 steals and 12.7 points per game this season. Covington should be owned in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Ghostface Ilya gets a little better
Ersan Ilyasova played 17 minutes against the Pistons on Saturday with nine points, six rebounds, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He did not play in the fourth quarter because the Bucks were up 24 points to start the period. Ilyasova was probably headed towards 24 minutes tonight, and he also has one block and one 3-pointer in each of his last three games. Any improvement is a good start, so Ilyasova is worth a look in standard leagues. Although, his owners will need to be patient. Rotoworld.com

    • Giannis Antetokounmpo has seven turnovers
Giannis Antetokounmpo turned the ball over a career-high seven times against the Pistons on Saturday with six points, five rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 36 minutes.

Advice: It was one of his worst games on offense in quite some time. On the bright side, the defensive output is really coming on strong. Since Christmas, he has 1.1 steals and 1.6 blocks per game. Antetokounmpo's efficiency hasn't fallen off either, so he is slowly but surely getting better. He should be owned in all leagues. Marvin Williams has been diagnosed with a concussion.

Advice: It's been a bloodbath with the injuries today and Williams is going to have to go through the concussion protocol. The good news for the Hornets is that they're off until Wednesday, so Williams may not miss any time. Although, he was awfully groggy on Saturday. Cody Zeller will play a few more minutes. Marvin Williams is being a evaluated for a concussion due to an injury in the first half against the Knicks on Saturday.

Advice: He was walking back very slow and he will likely have to go through the concussion protocol. With Williams out, the Hornets are going to have to get creative for their forward spots. Cody Zeller will play more while Michael Kidd-Gilchrist may play some four. Noah Vonleh and Jason Maxiell may get in the rotation if there are other injuries to Bismack Biyombo and Lance Stephenson. • Nicolas Batum (wrist) out for Saturday night
Nicolas Batum (wrist) won't play against the Wizards on Saturday.

Advice: He almost had no chance to play tonight due to his nagging wrist injury. It's interesting that LaMarcus Aldridge (thumb) is playing tonight and maybe Batum's status was a factor in his decision. The Blazers will use about five different guys to fill the void left by Batum, so there's little reason to make a pickup in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

Marvin Williams went to the locker room with an apparent leg injury on Saturday.

Advice: It did not look good and he headed back to the locker room with a limp. Williams was walking slowly and there's a chance he's done for the night, especially considering how many leg injuries he's had in his career. Cody Zeller will get more run while Jason Maxiel and Noah Vonleh could help out. Rotoworld.com

Kyle Singler will play with a mask against the Bucks on Saturday.

Kevin Martin (wrist) did not practice on Saturday.

Anthony Bennett (knee) did not practice on Saturday.

Advice: There's no word of how much he's banged up, but it's not great to hear Bennett is dealing with a knee issue. He had knee problems to start this season, and it was also a problem for him last year. He's more of a deep-league stash in case Thaddeus Young is dealt. Rotoworld.com

Advice: He did not return from his injury on Friday and it would appear he'll miss a couple games. Tobias Harris is not thrilled about coming off the bench for the past two games, but wants to remain professional about it.

Advice: "Do I like it? No," Harris said. "But I'm a professional." It's interesting how he has remained on the bench despite rookie Devyn Marble's uninspiring play in the starting lineup, and one would almost have to start wondering if the reports that Harris wants to join the Knicks as a free agent has anything to do with it. While we still believe Harris will return to the starting lineup sooner rather than later, this is definitely something to keep an eye on going forward. Rotoworld.com

Nick Young scored 17 points on 5-of-11 shooting with three treys and a 4-of-4 mark from the line in Friday's loss.

Advice: Young didn't have any other stats and while that's not too shocking the 20 minutes is pretty annoying with Kobe Bryant out. Byron Scott played nine players between 19-29 minutes tonight and has been a mess in the fantasy sense, and he hasn't been all that impressive in the reality sense either. But Young should be owned in all formats with an excellent shot to be productive with Kobe Bryant expected to be out for the year. Rotoworld.com

Andrew Wiggins scored 13 points on 6-of-16 shooting (no threes) with two rebounds, one assist and one block over 38 minutes in the Wolves' 92-84 loss to the Pelicans on Friday.

Advice: Wiggins could be staring at a rough month with Ricky Rubio and Kevin Martin returning, and then after that Shabazz Muhammad at some point. As that happens, integrating all of these players could easily gum things up for all of them. Still, the Wolves are going to slowly force him into a No. 1 role regardless of who is playing with him, and attrition will also be his ally in the second half of the year. It will be one massive buy low window and owners will want to take full advantage of it. Rotoworld.com

Jimmy Butler scored 20 points on 8-of-18 shooting (no threes) with eight rebounds, six assists and three steals in Friday's win over the Mavs.

Advice: Butler put his foot back on the gas pedal after Derrick Rose's surge slowed him down a bit. Rose scored 20 points on 7-of-17 shooting with three rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and five turnovers, and it wouldn't be surprising if Butler got back some of his touches now that Rose appears to have re-established a foundation for himself. • Klay Thompson sets NBA record w/ 37-point qtr
Klay Thompson set an NBA record with 37 points in the third quarter of Friday's win over the Kings, finishing with an NBA season-high tying 52 points on 16-of-25 shooting, two rebounds, five assists, four steals and two blocks.

Advice: Thompson hit 11 3-pointers on 15 attempts and 9-of-10 from the line, setting a slew of records in the process. He did not miss on 13 field goal attempts in the third quarter with nine of them coming from beyond the arc, with each one setting the wild Oracle crowd into a deeper euphoric frenzy. Advice: He came off the bench on Wednesday, as well. Robert Covington started hot against the Raptors during a loss on Friday, finishing with 18 points, six rebounds, two steals, two blocks and four 3-pointers.

Advice: He scored his first 14 points on an insane 116.7 effective field goal percentage in the first quarter, but then cooled off. Nicolas Batum (wrist) is doubtful to play against the Wizards on Saturday.

Advice: There is still no word of Batum getting an MRI, but it would appear he's going to miss multiple games. He's been dealing with wrist soreness for over a month and he's been fairly open about how it's having an adverse effect on his shooting. The Blazers will have to use a combination of Dorell Wright, Victor Claver, and Allen Crabbe to play the three. Magic F Tobias Harris has the Knicks "atop [his] free agency list," according to NY Post writer Marc Berman.

Advice: The report from a Knicks beat writer cites an unnamed "close friend of Harris," who reportedly said, "He wants to win a championship with the Knicks." Take that for what it's worth. Harris has a $3.4 million qualifying offer this summer and the Magic can match any offer to retain him in free agency, so even if he wants to join the Knicks it may not happen. Dorell Wright played just 10 minutes against the Celtics on Thursday with one point, one rebound and two steals.

Advice: He was the 11th player to be used tonight and might have been played a lot less had Nicolas Batum (wrist) been able to stay healthy. The vast majority of Wright's minutes came at small forward tonight and he could see minutes in the 20s while Batum is out. However, coach Terry Stotts is going to pick and choose Wright's spots, so he's a risky grab in most fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

Wesley Matthews scored 18 points with three rebounds, two steals, one block and four 3-pointers in 37 minutes against the Celtics on Thursday.

Advice: He played more minutes at small forward tonight and that looks like it'll continue for now. Matthews regained his lead for total 3-pointers on the season and he should have a great chance to retain it because he'll have plenty of shots headed his way with LaMarcus Aldridge (thumb) out for 6-8 weeks -- Aldridge is currently third in the NBA for field goal attempts per game. Matthews will likely flirt with top-40 value. Rotoworld.com

Nicolas Batum was wearing a large brace on his right wrist following Thursday's game against the Celtics.

He said he can't use his wrist right now and he's unsure how much time he's going to miss. In other words, it sounds like he's not going to play on Saturday. Expect to see more of C.J. Advice: Rodney Hood (foot) is out until the All-Star break and Ingles seems to have his minutes locked down. He's a very good passer and the upside is there for him with some output in steals and treys. He's worth a look in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

Ersan Ilyasova played just 17 minutes in his return to the starting lineup on Thursday with seven points, one rebound, one assist, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer against the Jazz.

Advice: It was an awful matchup for him against Enes Kanter and Rudy Gobert. Ilyasova was not involved in the halfcourt offense and had a couple of his buckets come in transition. He should be better than this and the upside is there, but he probably has a better chance to disappoint than to be a helpful pickup. To be clear, we don't hate the idea of adding Ghostface Ilya. • Giannis Antetokounmpo scores 13, steals five
Giannis Antetokounmpo had a career-high five steals against the Jazz on Thursday with 13 points, six rebounds and three assists in 28 minutes.

Advice: The defensive numbers weren't there for him to start the season, but he's averaged 3.3 steals per game over his last three. Antetokounmpo's minutes have held steady at around 30 per game and was at 29.8 over his previous 10, averaging 11.1 points, 6.8 boards, 2.3 assists, 1.6 blocks and 1.0 steals on 50.5 percent from the field. His arrow is pointing up. Rotoworld.com

    • Nicolas Batum (wrist) out for game vs. BOS
Nicolas Batum (right wrist) will not return to Thursday's game due to a wrist injury.

Advice: This nagging shooting wrist injury just will not go away. Batum has been complaining about his wrist injury for almost two months and the Blazers might give him an MRI to make sure he didn't aggravate anything structurally. With Batum out, Dorell Wright, who was the 11th man in the rotation tonight, will pick up some extra playing time. Batum did not score with three rebounds, four assists and no turnovers in 22 minutes tonight. Rotoworld.com

Jimmy Butler played just 28 minutes against the Spurs on Thursday with 17 points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers on 4-of-9 from the field.

Advice: He was in foul trouble tonight, which is a very rare occurrence for Butler this season. Tonight was just the second game all season in which Butler was below 34 minutes. Jimmy Minutes has turned into Jimmy Buckets and he's starting to come out of his slump to start 2015. He should be viewed as an early-round fantasy asset. Rotoworld.com

    • Ersan Ilyasova to start over Johnny O'Bryant
Ersan Ilyasova will draw the start on Thursday against the Jazz, replacing Johnny O'Bryant.

Advice: The move makes a lot of sense considering that O'Bryant hasn't made an impact at all this season for the Bucks. Ilyasova does have some upside, and an uptick in minutes means he shouldn't be floating around many waiver wires with this news. Rotoworld.com

Nick Young has a sprained right thumb and is listed as probable for Friday's game vs. the Spurs.

Advice: This is the first we are hearing about his thumb but he should be fine for Friday's game. Danilo Gallinari (knee) will be available for Friday's game against the Celtics.

Advice: Gallo last played on December 20 before suffering a torn meniscus and will likely be eased back into action on Friday. The 26-year-old has only played 24 games over the past two seasons and will be limited to a bench role behind Wilson Chandler, so fantasy owners can feel free to leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com

Klay Thompson hit 10-of-21 shots and three more 3-pointers for 27 points, three rebounds, five assists and four steals in Wednesday's impressive win over the Rockets.

Advice: Look for Thompson to be a coach's pick for the Western All-Star Team, as he's been getting it done at both ends of the court all season long. The Warriors won their 17th straight game at home, setting a franchise record. Rotoworld.com

Nicolas Batum finally broke out of his season-long slump on Wednesday, hitting 9-of-15 shots and six 3-pointers for 27 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and a block in 39 minutes.

Advice: Finally! This was easily Batum's best game of the season and it may not be a coincidence that LaMarcus Aldridge was out with a thumb injury. Hopefully this was the game that will get Batum's season jump started, and hopefully he will continue to look for his shot going forward. Dorell Wright started for LaMarcus Aldridge on Wednesday and came through with 15 points, three rebounds, five assists, two steals and three 3-pointers on 4-of-10 shooting.

Advice: We all know Wright is capable of a game like this if given the opportunity, but it's been a long time coming. Aldridge will have another MRI on his thumb on Thursday, so we still don't know how much time he'll miss. We've also seen the Blazers switch things up from game to game when Aldridge is out, but for now, Wright looks like the best short-term pickup option in Portland. Thomas Robinson came off the bench for six points and seven rebounds in 17 minutes tonight. Rotoworld.com

C.J. Miles led the Pacers off the bench with 18 points, three rebounds, two assists, a steal and two 3-pointers on 7-of-15 shooting in Wednesday's loss at Atlanta.

Advice: Miles is rolling again over his last two games, and is averaging 14.8 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.6 3-pointers over his last five games, despite shooting just 39 percent. Only Luis Scola (10), Rodney Stuckey (12) and C.J. Watson (13) joined Miles in double figures scoring tonight, but Miles looks like the guy to pick up as long as he can stay healthy. Rotoworld.com

Paul Pierce double-doubled for the second time this season on Wednesday with 14 points, 12 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 37 minutes against the Thunder.

Advice: The Wizards pulled out all the stops to try and get the win, but it didn't work. Pierce was only playing 24.8 minutes per game in his previous 2015 outings and he'll likely be in that range again on Saturday at Portland. He's still worth owning in standard leagues even with the limited playing time. Rotoworld.com

    • Jeff Green quiet in first start for Grizzlies
Jeff Green was very quiet in his first start for the Grizzlies on Wednesday, scoring six points on 2-of-6 shooting with two rebounds, one assist and one block.

Advice: Green also committed four fouls and his fantasy value may take a dive as a starter, as he won't get nearly as many per-minute touches or shot attempts as he was seeing with the second unit. He's been solid since the trade to Memphis and owners should give him some slack even if he flops again vs. the 76ers' lenient defense on Saturday. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Young went off on Monday with 24 points while Kobe Bryant watched in street clothes, but Kobe was back for tonight's game. Of course, Young has struggled for the most of the season with or without Kobe, but we like his chances better for success on nights when Bryant isn't playing. Robert Covington played 39 minutes against the Knicks on Wednesday during a 98-91 loss, scoring 17 points with three rebounds, four assists, one steal, two blocks and three 3-pointers.

Advice: He hasn't been shooting the ball very well in his last nine, making just 39.6 percent from the field. Covington is still doing plenty with 3-pointers, steals and adding some blocks, so he's a must-start player in standard fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

Tobias Harris (ankle) returned from a five-game absence on Wednesday, coming off Orlando's bench to score 19 points with one 3-pointer, five rebounds and one assist in 25 minutes.

Advice: Harris shot 7-of-15 from the field and moved without obvious discomfort, and he should displace Devyn Marble in the starting lineup for Friday's game in New York. Harris has been a top-50 value on a season-long basis and he's safe to activate in all formats, while his return should put a dent in the expanded offensive roles Marble and Channing Frye have enjoyed in his absence. • Dorell Wright starting on Wednesday night
Dorell Wright will start in place of LaMarcus Aldridge on Wednesday vs. the Suns.

Advice: It's not a surprise to see Wright start and he had some starts last year while LMA was out. It's anyone's guess who will get most of Aldridge's minutes, so any other Blazer besides Damian Lillard and Wes Matthews is a gamble in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

Jeff Green will start against the Raptors on Wednesday.

Advice: It'll be his first start with his new team. Green has been in double-digit scoring in every game with the Grizzlies and his minutes might climb into the mid-30s. He's still a risky play tonight considering he has not been very efficient. Tony Allen or Courtney Lee will move to the bench. We'll add an update once the info is available. Rotoworld.com

Tobias Harris (ankle) is expected to play and may come off the bench against the Pistons on Wednesday.

Advice: He is on track to play, but coach Jacque Vaughn said it's still possible Harris sits. After playing through an ankle roll on Jan. 9, Harris has missed his last five games. He was playing 35 minutes per night, but he might be a touch under 30 minutes tonight. Basically all the Magic players take a hit on offense with Channing Frye possibly taking the biggest loss. Harris is still a solid player to start in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Ersan Ilyasova likely to start on Thursday
Ersan Ilyasova will likely start against the Jazz on Thursday.

Advice: Johnny O'Bryant will be bumped to the bench. Ilyasova hasn't been able to stay healthy this season, but he's really the only option at power forward with John Henson and Zaza Pachulia playing center. He played 23 minutes and scored 14 points on Monday, so he's worth a look in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Ersan Ilyasova eager to prove himself
Ersan Ilyasova is feeling great since returning from his latest concussion and is eager to prove his worth to the Bucks.

Advice: "It feels great to be back," said Ilyasova. "I feel much better. I’m trying to get back into game rhythm. I want to try to get that back as soon as I can." He had a solid game on Monday against the Raptors, scoring 14 points with seven boards and one block in 23 minutes, and it looks like he could carve out a sizable role for the Bucks considering how shorthanded they are. • Cleanthony Early (ankle) doubtful for Wed
Cleanthony Early (ankle) is doubtful to play against the 76ers on Wednesday according to coach Derek Fisher.

Advice: If he does end up sitting this one out, it will be his third straight game on the sidelines. While Early has shown some potential this season, he won't have a large enough role to matter in most leagues as long as Carmelo Anthony is active. At this point in the season, Early is simply a stash in deeper leagues for when Melo decides to hang it up for the season. Rotoworld.com

    • Robert Covington is not going anywhere
Several NBA teams have shown interest in trading for Robert Covington, but the 76ers view him as a key part of their future plans and fully intend on keeping him.

Advice: Covington has been one of the few bright spots in Philadelphia this season, and his ability to knock down 3-pointers consistently has turned heads. A move away from Philly would hurt his value, so his owners can breathe easy after this report. Covington is averaging 12.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 27.2 minutes per game so far this season, and is still a must-own player in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

Kawhi Leonard tied his career-high with 15 rebounds during Tuesday's road win in Denver, adding 17 points with three 3-pointers, three assists, two steals and one block.

Advice: This was Leonard's eighth double-digit rebounding game of the season, and he racked up tonight's stats in just 31 minutes of action. The numbers agree with the eye-test where Leonard is concerned, as he's peaking at career-high levels in rebound rate (13.3 percent), usage rate (22.7 percent), assist rate (12.9 percent) and PER (19.4). Advice: He chipped in three 3-pointers, four rebounds, two assists and three steals in a terrific bounce-back effort following Monday's dud, which was largely the result of a blowout. Afflalo is second on the Nuggets in scoring (15.0 ppg) but his paltry defensive stats (0.6 steals, 0.1 blocks) prevent him from rising above late-round value. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Deng has quietly posted mid-round value with the Heat thanks to balanced production and a sizeable role offensively -- his 20.3 usage rate is just below his career average, and his 57.8 percent True Shooting marks a career high. Advice: "It's getting better," Harris said. "Every day I'm able to do a little bit more and more." Advice: Batum said after the game that his right (shooting) wrist is hurting him and that he has been pushing the ball 'right' on his shot as a result. He added that he has taken hundreds of jumpers during practice to try and fix this, which doesn't seem logical if he needs the rest, but he also cited that the team needs him with Robin Lopez out -- which also doesn't make too much sense. Advice: Wright has gotten starts in the past when LaMarcus Aldridge (thumb) has missed time, but his history converting those starts into value has been checkered. Advice: If he can do this every night he'll be on rosters in most formats, and the Larry Sanders situation has opened up a window of opportunity. This outing doesn't make him a must-add player or even a hot add, but he's worth a look depending on your options. Rotoworld.com

He is still worth owning in standard leagues, but his owners will want to lower their expectations after a productive a couple weeks before this aforementioned slump. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyle Singler cools off in Monday's road loss
Kyle Singler cooled off vs. the Hawks on Monday, making 2-of-7 shots with one 3-pointer to finish with five points, four boards and one assist.

Advice: He added a steal without any turnovers in 22 minutes, but this was a predictable letdown after watching him score 20 points vs. the Sixers' defense on Saturday. Although he continues to hold down a starting job in Detroit, Singler only provides a trickle of scoring and 3-pointers for deep-league owners. Rotoworld.com

    • Andrew Wiggins cools off vs. the Hornets
Andrew Wiggins didn't have a great follow-up game from his career-high effort in his last game, making just 3-of-14 from the field for 12 points with two rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He just wasn't as aggressive as usual today with just two shots from inside of three feet. Wiggins has been beating his defender off the dribble a ton since Christmas and that explains why his efficiency has jumped up so much lately. Even with the Wolves getting some players back, it shouldn't hurt his opportunity to score. His owners shouldn't be looking to sell high unless it's for an offer they can't refuse. Rotoworld.com

    • Cleanthony Early inactive due to ankle issue
Cleanthony Early will not play against the Pelicans on Monday due to an ankle injury.

Advice: The Knicks said they didn't play Early on Thursday because they wanted to get a look at their 10-day contract guys, so this is very weird to say Early has an ankle issue. Regardless, it sounds like the team wants to get a look at Langston Galloway first. Rotoworld.com

Kevin Martin (wrist) will not play on Monday against the Hornets.

Advice: Martin was listed as questionable for the first time coming into this one, but he's still not ready to go. With Shabazz Muhammad (abdominal strain) also sidelined, Andrew Wiggins will continue to be the focal point of what the Timberwolves do offensively. Martin is very close to a return, and could be back as soon as Wednesday's contest. Rotoworld.com

Joe Johnson admitted that his recent slide is due to having to shoulder a larger load.

Advice: "Obviously, maybe some time off would probably be needed," he said. But with the Nets dealing with a lot of injuries, Johnson is "fighting through it." Johnson's last five games have seen him average just 11.6 points on 32.8 percent shooting, and he'll need to get back on track quickly for the Nets to stay above water. Rotoworld.com

    • Tobias Harris (ankle) making steady progress
Coach Jacque Vaughn said that Tobias Harris (ankle) is making progress with his injury.

Advice: He is currently getting up shots and going through individual workouts on the court, however, he remains without an official return date. Channing Frye has emerged as the primary beneficiary with Harris sidelined, as he's been seeing heavy minutes and increased shot attempts. He's worth a look for owners seeking some 3-point shooting, rebounds, and the occasional block. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Martin (wrist) questionable for Monday
Kevin Martin (wrist) is being listed as questionable for Monday's game vs. Charlotte.

Advice: This is the first time Martin has been listed as questionable since fracturing his wrist back in November. He has gone through multiple full-contact practices, so he should not be floating around on any waiver wires at this point. It's not clear if he'll have a minutes restriction upon his return, and it'll be interesting to see if how he works alongside the now surging Andrew Wiggins. Shabazz Muhammad (abdominal strain) will likely take the biggest hit with the return of Martin. Rotoworld.com

    • Coach Flip Saunders praises Andrew Wiggins
Coach Flip Saunders praised Andrew Wiggins after he scored a career-high 31 points in a win over the Nuggets on Saturday.

Advice: "It’s almost astonishing his confidence level," Saunders said of Wiggins. "He just keeps continuing to get better and amaze, whether its offense, blocking shots, rebounds, he’s doing a bit of everything." Wiggins has shown a ton of improvement since the beginning of the season, and there is no doubt that he has become a must-own fantasy asset in all leagues. Kawhi Leonard is not listed on the Spurs' injury report, and he is good to go for Sunday's game against the Jazz.

Advice: He returned to action in style on Friday with 20 points, four rebounds, five assists, three steals and one 3-pointer, so owners can expect more of the same against the Jazz. Needless to say, Leonard shouldn't be on any benches right now. Rotoworld.com

    • Jeff Green looks great off the bench again
Jeff Green had another terrific game off the bench on Saturday during a 102-98 win over the Blazers with 17 points, five rebounds, one assist, one steal and three 3-pointers in 30 minutes.

Advice: It's been a seamless transition with 29.4 minutes per game with his new team. In his three games, Green averaged 16.0 points, 4.3 boards 0.3 steals and 1.0 triples on 39.5 percent from the field. As bad as that shooting line looks, Green has taken 48.8 percent of his attempts from within eight feet, which is up from 38.1 percent from his Boston days. That should allow him to shoot a higher percentage. Still, he's not a high-upside guy and isn't a must-own player. Rotoworld.com

Nicolas Batum struggled yet again on Saturday during a 102-98 loss in Memphis, making 1-of-6 from the field for three points with two rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: Trying to defend Batum in fantasy has become very old here. In his last three games, he's managed to average just 4.0 points, 3.7 boards, 3.7 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.7 blocks, 0.7 triples and 3.0 turnovers on 16.7 percent from the field. He also has a 13.4 usage rate and is being eliminated from the offense right now. Still, the non-scoring stats are there, so he should remain owned. Rotoworld.com

    • Wes Matthews sets franchise record for treys
Wesley Matthews became the Blazers' franchise leader in 3-pointers against the Grizzlies on Saturday with seven makes from beyond the arc, scoring 25 points with four rebounds, one assist and no turnovers.

Advice: That's one way to bounce back from his worst game of the season on Friday. Matthews is tied with Kyle Korver for the lead in total treys thanks to 46.6 percent of his shots coming as catch-and-shoot attempts from beyond the arc. This was also the third time Wes made seven or more treys this season. He's running out of arrows in his quiver for his bow and arrow celebration. Rotoworld.com

Klay Thompson started hot against the Rockets on Saturday, making 9-of-15 from the field for 27 points with five rebounds, two assist, one steal, five blocks and three 3-pointers.

Advice: His five blocks were a career high and he did a fantastic job on James Harden. Thompson has avoided a slump for basically the entire season and is hot over his last five, averaging 22.8 points, 4.2 boards, 2.4 assists, 1.6 blocks, 0.8 steals and 3.0 triples on 51.9 percent from the field. Andrew Wiggins scored a career-high 31 points on 11-of-17 shooting in a win over the Nuggets on Saturday, adding nine boards, four assists, one steal, three blocks and four 3-pointers in 40 minutes.

Advice: It was easily the best game of his NBA career and the rookie has been on a tear after a slow start to the season. While the return of Kevin Martin (wrist) and Shabazz Muhammad (abdominals) could reduce his workload, Wiggins will likely be a must-start option for the rest of the season. Rotoworld.com

Kyle Singler scored 20 points with two rebounds, one assist, one steal and six 3-pointers in 26 minutes against the 76ers on Saturday.

Advice: He was hot early with three 3-pointers in the first quarter. Singler scored just 17 points combined in his previous three games, so there's little reason to be excited about this one. He's only an option in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • C.J. Miles has another awful game
C.J. Miles made 2-of-13 from the field for five points with five rebounds against the Hornets on Saturday.

Advice: He missed all eight shots from deep and even air-balled one. If one thing is clear on Miles, it’s that he has a green light from deep. He’s taken 8.1 attempts from beyond the arc in his previous eight games. Besides that and scoring in the mid-teens, there’s not much else to his fantasy value while he’s going to shoot below 40 percent from the field on a fairly high volume. Rotoworld.com

Joe Ingles scored three points on 1-of-2 shooting (all threes) with two rebounds, four assists and a career-high three steals in 22 minutes on Friday against the Lakers.

Advice: Ingles has quietly played at a mid-round level over his last three games, but he needs to stave off the return of Rodney Hood and then after that keep it up. Chances are he can't do it, but his versatility should be noted if he's able to work his way into consistent minutes. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Young has played well enough to be owned in all 12-team formats this year, but his ups and downs might have him on benches or even the waiver wire for stretches. If anything happens to Kobe down the stretch, he could add a couple of rounds to his value real quick. Rotoworld.com

Andrew Wiggins scored 17 points against the Suns during a 110-99 loss on Friday with 17 points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He's figured it out. Wiggins was making just 42.3 percent from the field on the season before tonight, but he has been above that percentage in 10 of his last 11 games. Kawhi Leonard returned from a month-long absence on Friday during a 110-96 win over the Blazers, scores 20 points with four rebounds, five assists, three steals and one 3-pointer.

Advice: It's like he never left. Leonard's hand injury appears to be 100 percent and it was great to see him return a little sooner than expected. Leonard was on fire in his previous seven games before the injury, averaging 17.1 points, 7.7 boards, 3.6 assists, 1.1 blocks, 2.1 steals and 0.6 treys. Wesley Matthews had his worst game of the season on Friday against the Spurs with two points, one rebound, two assists and one steal in 29 minutes.

Advice: He had Kawhi Leonard on him and that's about all the analysis needed here. Advice: Green logged 31 minutes and owners should run and grab him if he was dropped. Advice: He had some comments earlier in the week about how the Knicks should play his brother, Thanasis, and maybe the Knicks might be considering it a little more after this gem. Antetokounmpo's shot selection continues to be the headline of his improvements this season. In his last six, he averaged 11.5 points, 7.5 boards, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.8 blocks and 0.2 treys on 51.8 percent from the field. His arrow is pointing up. Rotoworld.com

Ersan Ilyasova didn't make any of his six field goal attempts against the Knicks on Thursday with one point, two rebounds and one turnover in 12 minutes.

Advice: He has two head injuries in the past month and had his minutes limited. Ilyasova is really the only power forward on the roster besides 37-year-old Kenyon Martin and rookie Johnny O'Bryant, so he should have some opportunity in front of him. If you're OK waiting for him for the next couple weeks, it could pay off. Coach Derek Fisher said he didn't play Cleanthony Early because he wanted to play the 10-day contract players more.

Advice: Wait, what? Lou Amundson is 32 years old and hasn't played more than 13 minutes per game since 2010-11. Lance Thomas is 26 and made a laughable 22.2 percent from the field last season. This makes even less sense because they signed guys to 10-day deals knowing they have a trip to London in that stretch, so they basically cut their ability to help them in half. What's more, Early was the first rookie they drafted and he's shown some flashes in summer league and on occasion this season. He should still be considered as a hold in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

Advice: This is interesting considering that Kidd also said Ilyasova won't have a minutes restriction, but Kidd often gives contrary comments to the media. We'll let you know how Ilyasova does after the game, but given the fact that Johnny O'Bryant has been starting at his position, it's very likely Ilyasova will soon return to the starting lineup and he's worth a look as a speculative add in standard leagues. • Cleanthony Early to come off the bench Thurs.
Carmelo Anthony will replace Cleanthony Early in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against the Bucks.

Advice: Early's value takes a significant hit with the return of Anthony, and he doesn't look like a great daily league play as he'll likely be struggling to get touches and minutes playing behind the Knicks' franchise player. Rotoworld.com

    • No minutes restriction for Ersan Ilyasova
Bucks head coach said Ersan Ilyasova (concussion) won't have a minutes restriction for Thursday's game against the Knicks.

Advice: If you already thought the Bucks rotation was hard to figure out, your head might explode now that Ilyasova is back and apparently without a minutes restriction. We'll have to see how Kidd deploys Ilyasova over the next few games, but he's worth a look in deeper fantasy leagues while his return will cut into the already-borderline fantasy value of Johnny O'Bryant. • Kidd puts Giannis in touch w/Pippen, Olajuwon
Bucks head coach Jason Kidd has put Giannis Antetotounmkpo in touch with former NBA greats Scottie Pippen, Hakeem Olajuwon, and Dikembu Mutombo.

Advice: Kidd is trying to help the 20-year-old's game and putting him in touch with some former greats is part of his plan. "It's a great experience," Kidd said of the conversations. "Giannis wants to be one of the best and we have the opportunity to talk to the best to be able to ask them questions to find out what helped them be successful." While Alphabet can be inconsistent, he's still averaging 10.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.5 steals, and 1.9 blocks over his last 10 games and needs to be owned in all fantasy leagues for his ability to fill up the stat sheet. • Nicolas Batum can't make a shot
Nicolas Batum didn't look for his shot against the Clippers on Wednesday, missing all five attempts from the field with four points at the line, five rebounds, six assists, one steal and three turnovers.

Advice: He's just not himself. Coach Terry Stotts said Batum looked hesitant, and it's still unclear if he's not 100 percent due to his wrist issue. Batum had an encouraging game on Sunday and hopefully he can get back on track soon. He's not a must-start player, but certainly is a buy-low option. Rotoworld.com

    • Wes Matthews scores eight points vs. LAC
Wesley Matthews scored eight points with five rebounds, one steal and two 3-pointers in 35 minutes against the Clippers on Wednesday.

Advice: He had a couple bad falls late in the game and was able to play through it. It's a guessing guy now, but it looked like something in his leg and on his elbow. We'll do some digging and try to find an update on Thursday. Regardless, it would be a shock to see Matthews miss time. Rotoworld.com

    • Jimmy Butler quiet in loss to Wizards
Jimmy Butler was quiet in Wednesday's loss to the Wizards, hitting just 3-of-10 shots and two 3-pointers for 13 points, two rebounds, two assists, four steals and a block.

Advice: He still filled the stat sheet, but it also probably wasn't a coincidence that Derrick Rose played his best offensive game of the season. Pau Gasol also cooled off tonight, and Tom Thibodeau will have to find a way to keep Rose hot while keeping his teammates involved. There's no reason to panic on Butler, but it is concerning that he's struggled over his last five games, averaging just 13 points on 30 percent shooting, while the Bulls have lost four of those five games. He'll get it turned around. Rotoworld.com
