    • Damjan Rudez out for Saturday night
Damjan Rudez (illness) will not play against the Nets on Saturday.

Advice: With C.J. Miles (illness) doubtful, Chris Copeland should get back in the rotation tonight. Rudez had a good run for about a week, but he's also fallen out of the rotation for the most part. Rotoworld.com

    • Spencer Hawes (knee) is out on Saturday
Spencer Hawes (knee) will not play on Saturday vs. the Raptors.

Advice: He is said to be nearing a return, but only owners in deep leagues should consider adding him for the time being. Hawes would need an injury to Blake Griffin or DeAndre Jordan before we could recommend an add, so you can safely leave him on the wire. Glen Davis will see a few extra minutes Saturday, but is not a fantasy option by any means. Rotoworld.com

    • C.J. Miles (illness) is questionable Saturday
C.J. Miles (illness) is considered questionable for Saturday's game vs. the Nets.

Advice: He is dealing with an upper respiratory infection so he likely won't be close to 100 percent even if he does play. Miles has been much better than he was at the beginning of the season, and if he can stay on the court he will continue to be worth a look in standard leagues for his 3-point shooting. Expect Solomon Hill to play big minutes if Miles sits, while Chris Copeland might jump back into the rotation as well. Rotoworld.com

Advice: He wasn't expected to be ready in time for Saturday's game, so even if he doesn't play it is a great sign that he is getting closer. However, Hawes is still only an asset in deeper leagues, and it will remain that way unless Blake Griffin or DeAndre Jordan suffers an injury. • Jared Dudley makes NBA history Friday
Jared Dudley made NBA history during Friday's game, becoming the first player to hit 10 or more shots while connecting on three 3-pointers without a miss.

Advice: This arguably goes down as one of the craziest performances in the NBA this season, and if you played Jared Dudley in daily leagues you were more than likely handsomely rewarded. While Dudley will probably never come close to doing this again, he has earned a decent role in Milwaukee following the loss of Jabari Parker (leg) for the season. If you are in need of 3-pointers and steals, Dudley is worth a look. Rotoworld.com

    • Evans goes for 11 and 16 in Kings' loss
Reggie Evans scored 11 points on 5-of-13 shooting with 16 rebounds and one steal in the Kings' 115-106 home loss to the Suns on Friday.

Advice: Evans is a solid rebounder but struggles defensively and with the Kings having sent their depth away this offseason he's being relied upon offensively. Kings fans can only hope that DeMarcus Cousins (illness) can get back on the floor Saturday night against the Knicks. Rotoworld.com

    • Marcus Morris hits six threes in 29 & 9 night
Marcus Morris hit six 3-pointers off the bench on Friday against the Kings, finishing with 20 points on 7-of-12 shooting with nine rebounds, five assists and one steal in 28 minutes.

Advice: We're not entirely sure he and Markieff (17 points, two rebounds, three steals, one three) don't sometimes switch jerseys but all kidding aside it's a great night for the other Morris twin. He'll have a hard time having more than borderline value in 12-team standard leagues, but if he can build off this we'll let you know. Rotoworld.com

    • Mo hits just 1-of-9 shots, has 13 assists
Mo Williams hit just 1-of-9 shots for two points but handed out 13 assists to go with five rebounds and two blocks in 29 minutes off the bench on Friday.

Advice: If it's not one thing it's another these days for Williams, who can't stay healthy or put together consistent outings. Ricky Rubio played 0-on-5 and should be back in the next few weeks, so there is a small window for Williams to be productive in but he should be viewed as a desperation option at best. Rotoworld.com

    • Charlie V turning back the clock for the Mavs
Charlie Villanueva continued his improbable run as Mavs' backup big man on Friday, scoring 13 points on 5-of-9 shooting (including three treys) with three rebounds and four blocks.

Advice: Villanueva was fatigued by the minutes and he has three very solid games under his belt. We don't know if this can continue but he's the only real backup big that they have that can do anything offensively. He can't keep his current mid-round production from the last week up, but deep league owners can certainly speculate on his value and standard league owners (especially in 9-cat) may want to start giving him a look. • Harris plays just 15 minutes off the bench
Devin Harris played just 15 minutes off the bench on Friday, scoring six points on 3-of-8 shooting and just three steals to round out his stat line.

Advice: Harris has been hurt pretty badly so far by the Rajon Rondo trade, averaging just 18.8 minutes, 8.3 points, 1.3 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 treys per game while hitting 40 percent of his looks. The money counting stats aren't bad but he needs more minutes to make it work for standard league owners, and that just doesn't appear to be in the cards with Rondo there. Rotoworld.com

    • Pachulia goes for 14 & eight in Atlanta
Zaza Pachulia started at center and scored 14 points with eight assists and three steals in the Bucks' blowout win over the Hawks in his old Atlanta stomping grounds.

Advice: Pachulia logged 26 minutes and he could play this much nightly if Ersan Ilyasova's concussion issue is serious, though we don't know that to be the case at this point. His value has been in the tank for the past two weeks so it's not a run-to-the-wire moment, but if everything breaks perfectly he could end up with some value. Rotoworld.com

    • Marshall quiet in start for the Bucks
Kendall Marshall started at point guard in Friday's blowout win over the Hawks, scoring just four points on 2-of-6 shooting with five assists and two steals in 25 minutes.

Advice: Marshall is a terrible asset in standard leagues unless he is dominating touches and getting 35-plus minutes per game. That's not going to happen with this team barring a number of injuries . Rotoworld.com

    • Dudley ties NBA best night w/ 10-of-10 FGs
Jared Dudley tied an NBA season best shooting performance (Jarrett Jack) with 10-of-10 makes from the field, finishing with a season-high 24 points, four threes, four boards, two assists and a season-high four steals to boot.

Advice: Dudley logged 24 minutes off the bench and this has fluke written all over it. The Bucks just had a players only meeting and perhaps that boosted the veterans tonight, but the best we can say about Dudley is that he's worth a look. Ersan Ilyasova's sudden concussion-related absence could boost his profile, but one look at Dudley's game log is proof why owners shouldn't cut anybody of value here. Rotoworld.com

After losing out on Josh Smith, the Heat have reportedly set their sights on Andray Blatche.

Advice: Blatche is with his Chinese team through February so it's hard to say where this will go, and whether or not it has anything to do with Chris Bosh's calf injury. The Heat need big men right now so perhaps they know something we don't know with regards to Blatche's availability. Rotoworld.com

Reggie Evans will start at center against the Suns on Friday.

    • Zaza Pachulia getting the start at center
Zaza Pachulia will start at center against the Hawks on Friday.

Advice: John Henson is expected to come off the bench behind Zaza, so the team won't need him to play too many minutes. Although, Henson hasn't played more than 21 minutes in any game this season and has been out since Nov. 25, so expect Zaza to play around 30 tonight. Rotoworld.com

    • Kendall Marshall starting, O.J. Mayo benched
Kendall Marshall will enter the starting lineup for Friday's game vs. Atlanta, shifting Brandon Knight over to SG, and sending O.J. Mayo to the bench.

Advice: Mayo has been struggling lately, shooting just 4-of-14 from the field over the last two games. Marshall hasn't done much this season to warrant attention in standard leagues, and he only managed to put up three points and four assists during his last start. This will be the 13th different starting lineup for the Bucks this season. Rotoworld.com

    • C.J. Miles chosing his spots more carefully
After struggling mightily from the field through the month of November, C.J. Miles has made an effort to choose his shots more wisely during the month of December.

Advice: "We wanted him to be assertive. He has the green light, but we want him to be selective in his shots," said Pacers' head coach Frank Vogel. "I was encouraging him to be so assertive that he was not great with shot selection. I think he's being smarter about that now." Miles is averaging 15.5 points and 2.4 three-pointers per game on 42.4 percent shooting from the field during the month of December, and he'll be worth owning in standard leagues as long as he can keep up his current pace. • Charlie Villanueva scores 18 points Tuesday
Charlie Villanueva scored a season-high 18 points on Tuesday vs. the Suns, adding four boards and four 3-pointers in 20 minutes.

Advice: Don't look now but Villanueva has now posted two decent games in a row after scoring 14 points on Monday. There is some playing time available in Dallas after Brandan Wright was shipped to Boston, so owners in deep leagues can put him on their radar. To be clear, we don't see Villanueva being able to keep up this pace, but crazier things have happened. Rotoworld.com

    • Mo Williams (personal) plays 22 minutes Tues.
Mo Williams (personal) played 22 minutes off Minnesota's bench on Tuesday, finishing with six points, seven dimes, one steal and one block.

Advice: The veteran PG is still bothered by a recent back injury, though at the moment he doesn't seem likely to sit out vs. the Nuggets on Friday. Whether or not he reclaims the starting PG job, Mo is worth a long look until Ricky Rubio (ankle) returns to action. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Evans is tied for fourth in the NBA in rebound rate, hauling in 22.1 percent of all shots missed while he's on the court, which is lower than only Bismack Biyombo, DeMarcus Cousins and DeAndre Jordan. That rebounding prowess is the extent of Evans' fantasy appeal. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Miles did his damage in 32 minutes off Indiana's bench, chipping in six rebounds with zero turnovers, assists, steals or blocks. He's been tremendous since returning to action on Dec. 15, and is worth a pickup based on his averages over the past four games -- 20.5 points, 2.7 threes, 4.7 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.0 turnovers. Advice: He did his damage in 32 minutes off the bench and should have a clear path to fantasy value until Ricky Rubio returns from his severely sprained ankle. With Rubio unable to practice and no clear return date in sight, owners should roll with Williams into the New Year. Rotoworld.com

Jared Dudley excelled against his former team on Saturday with 16 points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes.

Advice: That's back-to-back good games from Dudley and he's passed Khris Middleton as the waiver-wire add du jour. However, if Williams is able to suit up, he won't be able to play much more than 12 minutes, which simply isn't enough time to contribute in a meaningful way to the stat sheet. Advice: Until Bargnani can actually step foot on the court, he's not going to be worth owning in most leagues. Advice: He had season highs in field goal attempts and free throw attempts in what was obviously his best game. Mo Williams was not present during Thursday's practice as he went to get a second opinion on his ailing back, and he is being listed as questionable for Friday's game vs. the Celtics.

Advice: Williams is currently on a minutes restriction with the Timberwolves, and is not worth owning in most leagues. Zach LaVine will continue to start as the only healthy point guard on the Wolves' roster, but with averages of just 10.8 points and 5.0 assists on 36.6 percent shooting from the field with the starting unit, he can only be considered an asset in deeper leagues. • Reggie Evans (knee, hip) out Thursday vs. MIL
Reggie Evans (knee, hip) will not play Thursday vs. the Bucks.

Advice: Evans suffered the injuries during Tuesday's game vs. OKC, and there is currently no timetable set for his return. With DeMarcus Cousins expected to return on Thursday, there's not much reason to hold onto Evans, and he can be cut in most leagues. Carl Landry and Derrick Williams will likely see some extended minutes, but neither makes for a great plug-and-play option. Rotoworld.com

    • Spencer Hawes downplays knee injury
Spencer Hawes (knee) downplayed the seriousness of his injury to his left knee.

Advice: There had been rumors of a more serious nature to Hawes' injury as he's still without a timetable, but Hawes downplayed those reports are greatly exaggerated. "I'm not out for the season," he told reporters on Wednesday. While Hawes may not be out for the season, he's not going to help fantasy owners much and can safely be left on the waiver wire. • C.J. Miles scores 17 in loss to Clippers
C.J. Miles came off the bench to hit 6-of-14 shots and two 3-pointers for 17 points, three rebounds, three assists and a steal in Wednesday's loss to the Clippers.

Advice: He had 20 points and three 3-pointers on Monday night, and had a 30-point game on December 10. He appears to be over his knee injury and it would not be surprising to see him replace Solomon Hill in the starting lineup at some point in the near future. He's a streaky shooter and has trouble staying healthy, so make sure you can handle the headaches that are coming if you pick him up. Rotoworld.com

    • Kendall Marshall might be in the rotation now
Kendall Marshall played 17 minutes against the Blazers on Wednesday with five points, three rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He backed up Brandon Knight tonight and that will likely continue now that the Bucks need Jerryd Bayless to play more shooting guard. Marshall is not worth owning in most leagues, though. Rotoworld.com

    • Zaza Pachulia plays 26 minutes
Zaza Pachulia played 26 minutes against the Blazers on Wednesday with five points, eight rebounds, three assists and one turnover.

Advice: He is sharing minutes at center and coach Jason Kidd is not using him at power forward these days. Perhaps one takeaway is the Bucks need Ersan Ilyasova (face) to come back. Pachulia is not worth owning in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Jared Dudley scores three points in start
Jared Dudley scored three points in 27 minutes during a start against the Blazers on Wednesday, adding two rebounds, five assists and one steal.

Advice: He committed four fouls and wasn't as involved in the offense nearly as much. Dudley's usage rate is extremely low, so he's not going to be asked to score much. His assists are fairly high for a guy with his role, but it's still not enough to move the needle enough to grab him in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Quincy Pondexter plays 23 minutes in start
Quincy Pondexter played 23 minutes in start against the Spurs on Wednesday with four points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Advice: Pondexter had a solid preseason, but he's been quiet on the season. Vince Carter has found the fountain of youth off the bench, so Pondexter is going to have a tough time having fantasy value even with Tony Allen out. Rotoworld.com

    • Spencer Hawes without a timetable
Spencer Hawes (knee) will not play against the Pacers on Wednesday.

Advice: He is without a timetable and after suffering some bruising to his knee. Hawes can be cut in most formats. Rotoworld.com

    • Jared Dudley starting in place of Parker
Jared Dudley will start in place of Jabari Parker on Wednesday.

Advice: He replaced Jabari when the injury happened, so this move is not a surprise. Dudley also played 20 minutes in the second half on Monday, so he should see a nice increase in playing time. He's worth a look in standard leagues, but there's no need to be too aggressive. Rotoworld.com

    • Reggie Evans disappoints in start Tuesday
Reggie Evans was disappointing in a start on Tuesday, playing just 19 minutes and finishing with four points, six boards, one assist and one block.

Advice: He rightfully replaced Ryan Hollins in the starting lineup, but failed to impress in what was an off night for the rebounding machine. DeMarcus Cousins (illness) could be back as soon as Thursday, so there is no reason for Evans to be owned outside of the deepest of leagues. Leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com
