  • Bradley Beal is fine after banging knees
Bradley Beal is fine following banging knees on Friday.

Advice: He was in some pain on Friday, but it didn't really affect his playing time in the win. Beal is locked in for around 42 minutes per game in the coach Randy Wittman's playoff rotation and he's taking 19 shots per game. He didn't have a great game on Friday with 16 points, but there could be a big game on the way. Rotoworld.com

  • Jason Terry to wear all black before Game 4
Jason Terry said he'll wear all black before Game 4 on Sunday to prepare for the Mavs' funeral in the postseason.

Advice: "My attire is like my car, black on black, because at the end of the day when you're in a close-out situation the great Mario Elie once told me prepare yourself for a funeral because you can bury them tomorrow," Terry said. This isn't really news that affects the lineups or fantasy, but bulletin board material is always a fun little storyline, especially since Terry won a title with the Mavs in 2011. Rotoworld.com

  • Richard Jefferson (calf) iffy for Game 4
Richard Jefferson (calf) is up in the air to play against the Rockets on Sunday and is listed as questionable.

Advice: The Mavs were not very forthcoming on Jefferson's injury immediately following the game, but now it sounds like he could miss Game 4. Jefferson was severely outplayed by Al-Farouq Aminu, who played 34 minutes with 15 points, five boards, two blocks and two steals. Aminu will be a popular play in daily fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Raymond Felton (hamstring) expected to play
Raymond Felton (hamstring) is expected to play in Game 4 on Sunday, but is listed as questionable.

Advice: He suffered the injury in the first quarter and was able to return. Felton played just 13 minutes and didn't score. J.J. Barea was by far the best point guard for the Mavs and he could wind up starting. Felton is not likely to play more than 20 minutes in any game the rest of the way. Rotoworld.com

  • Chandler Parsons doing light work at practice
Chandler Parsons (knee) was seen going through a light workout at practice on Saturday, though he remains out for the playoffs.

Advice: While there is no tear or structural damage to his right knee, he will have to undergo surgery and a timetable for his return will not be set until after the procedure. We will continue to track his progress closely, but it's encouraging to see him move around at practice. Richard Jefferson (calf) will likely continue to start if he is able to play, but Al-Farouq Aminu will likely be the primary beneficiary. Rotoworld.com

  • Cory Jefferson will be inactive on Saturday
Cory Jefferson will be replaced on the active list by Earl Clark.

Advice: Jefferson hasn't played in the opening two games of the playoffs, so his absence won't have an impact on the rotation. Clark may only see the floor if the game gets out of hand. Rotoworld.com

  • Earl Clark will be active for Game 3
Earl Clark will be active for Game 3 against the Hawks on Saturday, while Cory Jefferson will move to the inactive list.

Advice: Jefferson was active for Game 2 and Clark was not, so the team is simply shaking things up. Neither player will likely be in the rotation for the playoffs, so this news shouldn't impact your plans in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Jae Crowder says he will be starting Game 4
Jae Crowder said he will be in the starting lineup for Game 4 on Sunday.

Advice: There will also be additional changes to the lineup according to Avery Bradley, but those details haven't been released yet. Crowder and Jonas Jerebko started the second half of Game 3 in place of Marcus Smart and Brandon Bass, so it appears that Smart will be the first victim of the lineup change. Jerebko was also running with the first unit at practice on Saturday, so changes appear to be imminent. We should know more details after shootaround, and we will continue to follow this story very closely. The Celtics have lost the first three games of the series, so nothing will likely be off the table as they look to avoid a sweep vs. the Cavaliers. Rotoworld.com

  • Jrue Holiday is not on the injury report Sat
Jrue Holiday is not listed on the injury report for Game 4 against the Warriors on Saturday.

Advice: The Pelicans are trying to avoid a sweep on Saturday, but it's encouraging to see that Holiday will be able to play through some soreness again. His playing time will be limited from here on out, so we don't expect to see him log more than 20 minutes tonight. It's safe to ignore him in daily formats, and it should be noted that his stock is going to be considerably low heading into fantasy drafts next season given his injury history. For what it's worth, Holiday scored 10 points with one rebound, four assists and one block in 17 minutes in Game 3. Rotoworld.com

  • Anthony Davis is hoping to expand his range
Anthony Davis is hoping to work on adding a 3-point shot to his arsenal this summer.

Advice: Here we go. Davis is quickly becoming one of the best players in the NBA despite being just 22 years old, and adding a 3-point shot seems like it would be unfair to the rest of the league. The Pelicans will look to avoid a sweep against the Warriors on Saturday, but they have to be feeling pretty good about the future with Davis averaging 30.0 points, 11.0 boards, 2.3 assists, 3.0 blocks and 1.7 steals per game in his first postseason appearance. • Arron Afflalo says he will play in Game 3 Sat
Arron Afflalo (shoulder) is officially listed as probable, but he says he will play in Game 3 on Saturday.

Advice: "It's no time to get to 100 percent," Afflalo said. "You just go out there and give it your best." Afflalo isn't expected to have a minutes restriction moving forward and also said that he won't have any problems shooting from distance. It isn't clear what type of role he will have right out of the gate, but it's safe to say that Allen Crabbe and C.J. McCollum should expect to lose some playing time. However, Afflalo wasn't playing well before the injury which makes it tough to trust him in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Thaddeus Young apologizes for his performance
Thaddeus Young apologized to his teammates for his performance in Game 2 v. the Hawks in which he scored just two points in 24 minutes.

Advice: "First thing I said when I came into the locker room the other night was, 'Fellas, I'm sorry. I didn't give you guys anything tonight. I've got to be better,' " Young said on Friday. "I take pride in everything I do out there on the court and I take losses hard." It's admirable that Young is placing most of the blame on himself, but the Nets have been simply overpowered so far and they will look to clinch their first win in Game 3 on Saturday. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron James showers praises on J.R. Smith
LeBron James said that J.R. Smith is simply misunderstood, and he showered praise on him for his work ethic and defensive effort.

Advice: "He comes out every single day and works his tail off to try to get better, to help our team win," James said in regards to Smith. "He defends at a high level and he’s a great teammate and he’s a great guy." Smith is averaging 10.3 points, 4.3 boards, 1.3 assists, 2.3 steals and 2.0 treys through the first three games of the series against Boston, and he will look to help the Cavaliers sweep the Celtics in Game 4 on Sunday. • Trevor Booker hoping to remain with the Jazz
The Jazz have a $4.8 million team option on Trevor Booker next season, and Booker is hopeful that he will return to Utah.

Advice: "Of course I want to be back," Booker said. "I got the sense that they want me back, so I feel it's mutual. But, you know, at the end of the day, it's still always a business, so we'll see." Booker emerged as the primary big off the bench once Enes Kanter bolted town, and he proved to be a quality backup behind Rudy Gobert and Derrick Favors down the stretch. Booker finished the season with averages of 7.2 points, 5.0 boards and 1.1 assists in just under 20 minutes per game, so he won't be a viable option in standard fantasy leagues next season with the way the Jazz are currently constructed. • Kawhi Leonard is going nowhere in free agency
Kawhi Leonard isn't expected to pursue offer sheets when he becomes a restricted free agent this summer, as the Spurs are planning on offering him a max contract.

Advice: Leonard is quickly becoming one of the top players in the NBA due to his contributions on both sides of the court, so it's not surprising in the slightest that he is expected to get a max deal. The Spurs took a 2-1 series lead over the Clippers on Friday night thanks to a career-high 32 points from Leonard, and he also added four boards, three steals, two blocks and three 3-pointers to his name. Spiderman is going to be a fantasy stud for many years to come, and he is going to be off the board early in fantasy drafts next season. Rotoworld.com

  • Spiderman scores career-high 32 in SA win
Kawhi Leonard scored a career-high 32 points on 13-of-18 shooting (including three treys) with four rebounds, three steals and two blocks in the Spurs 100-73 Game 3 win over the Clippers on Friday.

Advice: We're going to float Spiderman out there as a nickname and see if it sticks. He was the best player on the floor tonight and it wasn't close, as we see the blossoming of a top-10 NBA player before our eyes. Tim Duncan added four points, seven boards, four assists, one steal and three blocks in the blowout win. Rotoworld.com

  • Jefferson leaves with mysterious ailment
Richard Jefferson left Friday's Game 3 loss with a calf ailment and did not return.

Advice: Jefferson logged 12 minutes and scored three points with one rebound, one assist and two steals while on the floor. If he can't go then Al-Farouq Aminu will get all the run he can handle, which probably should have been the case to start the series. Rotoworld.com

  • Raymond Felton starts, hurts hamstring
Raymond Felton suffered a right hamstring tweak in the first quarter and returned to action on Friday, finishing with no points, four rebounds, one assist and one foul in 13 minutes.

Advice: He got the start and just looked a step slow. It might not have been due to the hamstring tweak and it may have just been because he had to guard James Harden. Felton did have a right hamstring injury back in 2008, but there really hasn't been a trend here. Considering how poorly he played, he probably won't start in Game 4 and his status is questionable. Rotoworld.com

  • Raymond Felton will start at point guard
Raymond Felton will start against the Rockets on Friday in place of Rajon Rondo (back).

Advice: Usually, the Mavs would go with J.J. Barea, but they're so thin that they need to get Felton in the rotation because of Chandler Parsons (knee) also out. Felton is likely going to act as an off-ball guard while Monta Ellis handles the offense. Barea is not as attractive in fantasy leagues because it's going to be tough for him to log at least 24 minutes. Additionally, the Mavs used a three-guard lineup of Monta, Felton and Barea three minutes in the second half in Game 2, so coach Rick Carlisle will likely go that route again. Devin Harris should also get minutes close to 20. Rotoworld.com

  • Arron Afflalo probable to play on Saturday
Arron Afflalo (shoulder) is probable to play against the Grizzlies in Game 3 on Saturday.

Advice: He was able to do some shooting before Wednesday, but his shoulder looked to be an issue on long-range shots. Afflalo was pushing a weighed sled on Friday, which suggests he's a lot closer to being healthy. C.J. McCollum played 37 minutes in Game 1 and just 29 minutes in Game 2, so maybe he's lost some playing time due to making just 19.0 percent from the field in the playoffs. Expect C.J. and Allen Crabbe to lose more minutes. Afflalo is still not someone fantasy owners can trust due to his lackluster numbers since joining the Blazers. Rotoworld.com

  • Anthony Davis has huge line in NO collapse
Anthony Davis scored 29 points during a heartbreaking 123-119 overtime loss to the Warriors on Thursday, adding 15 boards, three assists, two steals and three blocks.

Advice: The Pelicans went into the fourth quarter with a 20-point lead, but they couldn't hold it due losing the fourth 39-19. Davis also missed some rebounds and one could argue Draymond Green just out-hustled him in that department. As for the offensive side, Davis has at least 22 shots from the field and eight attempts from the line in each of his playoff games. Maybe he'll be even more of an offensive weapon next season, which is scary from a fantasy perspective. The Pelicans will look to avoid a sweep on Saturday at home. Rotoworld.com

  • Jrue Holiday gets 17 minutes vs. GSW
Jrue Holiday played 17 minutes against the Warriors on Thursday with 10 points, one rebound, four assists and one block.

Advice: He did a decent job of denying Stephen Curry on defense and he also hit two clutch free throws late in the game. Holiday clearly had a minutes cap tonight and that'll continue the rest of the way. Interestingly, his brother Justin, a reserve on the Warriors, had some comments on Jrue before the game. "I think he's taking a chance and he's not himself, doesn't have his explosion," Justin said. Rotoworld.com

  • Jae Crowder scores 16 points off bench
Jae Crowder started the second half against the Cavs during a Game 3 loss on Thursday, finishing with 16 points, seven boards, four assists, two steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers on 5-of-6 from the field.

Advice: Coach Brad Stevens continues to play Crowder at shooting guard more often, which makes sense because they need all the size they can get to help keep LeBron James out of the paint. Crowder didn't have a bad game on defense and he was efficient (100.0 effective field goal percentage) on the offensive end outside of four turnovers. He's likely earned 30-plus minutes in Game 4. • Jrue Holiday is expected to play vs. GSW
Jrue Holiday (leg) is on the active roster and is expected to play against the Warriors on Thursday.

Advice: The Pelicans will likely limit his minutes because he's had so much trouble with his leg since last season. Holiday played 21 minutes in Game 1 before missing Game 2, so he'll likely be in the teens tonight. His minutes should come from Quincy Pondexter and Norris Cole. Rotoworld.com

  • Crowder & Jerebko start 3Q for Smart & Bass
Jae Crowder and Jonas Jerebko started the second half against the Cavs on Thursday.

Advice: Marcus Smart and Brandon Bass will come off the bench. Coach Brad Stevens has gone with a different center to start the second half throughout the year, but this move is new. The Celtics are really mixing it up with their rotation today and credit to them for keeping the Cavs on their toes. We'll let you know how it works out for them. Rotoworld.com

  • Parsons says no structural damage to knee
Chandler Parsons said that there is no tear or structural damage to his right knee, but it's not getting any better, and he will require surgery.

Advice: Parsons added that if the Mavs' first-round matchup hadn't been against the Rockets, he probably wouldn't have played at all. He's going to meet with a doctor in Chicago to determine exactly what surgery he will need to have, after which a surgery date and timetable for recovery will be set. • Jrue Holiday questionable for Game 3
Jrue Holiday (leg) is questionable for Thursday's Game 3 against the Warriors.

Advice: While Holiday was held out of Monday's Game 2 due to soreness in his leg, he was seen taking shots after practice on Wednesday so there's still a chance he may play Thursday night. We'll be on the lookout for updates, but Norris Cole would be in line to pick up Holiday's minutes if the point guard is unable to suit up. Rotoworld.com

Chandler Parsons (knee) will visit with a doctor in Chicago before determining specifics about his upcoming surgery.

Advice: Parsons will miss the rest of the playoffs and will undergo surgery on his right knee once he finishes consulting with doctors. We'll update Parson's timetable once we know more, but the procedure isn't expected to be major so he'll likely be ready in time for training camp. • Kawhi Leonard named Defensive Player of Year
Kawhi Leonard has been named the 2014-15 Defensive Player of the Year.

Advice: Leonard finished ahead of Draymond Green, DeAndre Jordan, Anthony Davis, and Rudy Gobert, respectively, on his way to winning his first DPOY Award. After a slow start to the 2014-15 season, Leonard was still able to finish as a top-25 player in standard fantasy leagues and should be a popular early-round pick next season. Now the only thing to do is keep an eye on Draymond Green's Twitter feed. Rotoworld.com

  • Danny Ainge heaps praise on Jae Crowder
Celtics president Danny Ainge said the Celtics feel that Jae Crowder is a big part of their team going forward.

Advice: While Crowder will become a restricted free agent after the season, that didn't stop Ainge from including the forward in his plans. "We really did like Jae Crowder," Ainge said. "And we feel like he’s a big part of our team going forward." Ainge's comments likely mean the Celtics will make every effort to keep Crowder in Boston, but the 24-year-old won't be much of a fantasy asset next season unless he's able to take a big jump from his averages of 9.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.0 steals with the Celtics this season. • Kawhi Leonard scores 23 points vs. Clippers
Kawhi Leonard scored 23 points against the Clippers on Wednesday with nine rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers.

Advice: This time last year, we were just starting to see the Kawhi ISO plays and he's really grown as a scorer. Leonard also made it very tough on the wings for the Clippers tonight and he also was guarding Chris Paul during this game. It's hard to overrate Kawhi and he's arguably a top-five player in the NBA for his contributions on both sides of the ball. Rotoworld.com

  • Thaddeus Young gets into foul trouble
Thaddeus Young struggled against the Hawks during a 96-91 loss on Wednesday, scoring two points with five rebounds, six assists, one steal, three turnovers and four fouls in 24 minutes.

Advice: It comes as a surprise that he played just 24 minutes after playing 40 in Game 1, but it was a bad game from Thad and Paul Millsap dominated on both ends. He made just 1-of-7 from the field and missed both free throws. At least one positive is that he had six assists, which is the most he's had in a playoff game. Young will look to improve on Saturday in Game 3. Rotoworld.com

  • Arron Afflalo (shoulder) will not play vs MEM
Arron Afflalo (shoulder) will not play against the Grizzlies in Game 2 on Wednesday.

Advice: He did warm up, but apparently isn't well enough to play. Afflalo has been focusing on his mid-range shots and looked to show pain as he was moving away from the rim, so perhaps his shoulder hurts more on deeper shots. C.J. Chandler Parsons (knee) will miss the rest of the playoffs.

Advice: He is exploring surgery options to his right knee. Parsons aggravated his knee injury in Game 1 and tried to play through it. Despite little swelling, the Mavs will just keep him out until October. As it stands right now, there's no ligament damage and he'd probably be looking at a knee scope procedure. • Jrue Holiday (sore leg) is considered day-to-day
According to head coach Monty Williams, Jrue Holiday (sore leg) is considered day-to-day.

Advice: Holiday was getting in a lot of extra work at practice Wednesday, so it looks like he is gearing up to play in Game 3. Holiday's injury history is troublesome to say the least, so the Pelicans would we wise to proceed with caution. We will pass along any updates on Holiday's status when we know more, but he should still be considered questionable to play for the time being. According to Yahoo Sports, it is "impossible" for Chandler Parsons to return from his knee injury in the first round of the playoffs.

Advice: The Mavericks have already lost the first two games to Houston, so this news doesn't bode well for their chances of making a comeback. Richard Jefferson started Game 2 with Chandler Parsons (knee) unavailable, but he finished with seven points on 2-of-6 shooting with one 3-pointer in 23 minutes of action.

Advice: Parsons' status going forward is uncertain and Rick Carlisle suggested that he might miss more games, thrusting the 34-year-old Jefferson into a critical role. Bradley Beal caught fire on Tuesday, finishing with 28 points on 12-of-21 shooting, two 3-pointers, five boards, two assists and one steal in 42 minutes.

Advice: Beal's confidence is surging at the right time for the Wizards, who emphatically claimed an 0-2 lead in their first-round series. During a halftime interview Beal said, "[The Raptors] think that we’re some punks. They think they can push around. But we’re not rolling." • J.R. Smith shoots poorly, still makes impact
J.R. Smith stole the ball five times vs. Boston on Tuesday, adding seven points, four rebounds and one assist with one turnover in 34 minutes during the Cavs' Game 2 win.

Advice: Smith deserves a ton of credit for fitting seamlessly into the Cavaliers' starting lineup. He was a key factor in Game 2, compensating for poor shooting with boundless energy at both ends of the court, while fellow swingman Iman Shumpert chipped in two points, five rebounds and solid defense in 26 minutes off the bench. • Arron Afflalo questionable for Game 2 on Wed

Advice: "If I can help in any way, whether it be 70 percent, 80 percent… I’m gonna get out there and do it," said Afflalo. He also added that if he can't go on Wednesday, he will almost certainly play in Game 3 on Saturday, and it sounds like he'll be a game-time decision for Game 2. He's not going to be 100 percent, but the Blazers could use all the help they can get right now, especially considering how much C.J. McCollum struggled through Game 1. Advice: ''I'm all right, I'm going to make it,'' Holiday said. Coach Monty Williams said Tyreke Evans and Holiday "are pretty much the same situation," but Holiday's comments contradict that slightly. We probably won't get an update until around 9:00 EDT tonight. Rotoworld.com

  • Chandler Parsons (knee) is extremely sore
Chandler Parsons (knee) is extremely sore on Monday and could be a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Advice: The good news is that his knee didn't swell up like it did last time. Parsons had some swelling in his knee following his injury on Apr. 2, so at least this aggravation isn't as bad. If Parsons can't go, the Mavs are really going to have a tough time containing James Harden because of all the fouls he'll draw. Richard Jefferson would start and one would think Al-Farouq Aminu would get more minutes because of the matchup. We'll have an update on Parsons tomorrow. Rotoworld.com

  • Jrue Holiday (leg) game-time vs. Warriors
Jrue Holiday (leg) is questionable to play in Game 2 vs. the Warriors on Monday.

Advice: He'll be a game-time decision. Holiday is experiencing soreness in his leg, a common theme over the last two seasons as he's dealt with a stress reaction. If the point guard does play, he'll likely be limited to right around 15-20 minutes of action. Rotoworld.com

  • Parsons, Harris both questionable for Game 2
Updating a previous item, Chandler Parsons (knee) and Devin Harris (toe) are both questionable for Game 2 vs. Houston.

Advice: Parsons admitted to his knee giving out on him during Game 1, something that was pretty noticeable to anyone watching as he battled with a limp for the duration of the contest. Harris, on the other hand, aggravated his toe injury in Game 1 and was forced out of action. If both guys are on the sidelines, it would mean Richard Jefferson is likely to start with increased minutes for Al-Farouq Aminu. As for Harris' absence, that would open the door for more J.J. Barea. • Report: Arron Afflalo could return for Game 2
Arron Afflalo (shoulder) could return for Game 2 vs. Memphis, according to CSNNW.

Advice: "Yeah, I'm good," Afflalo said when asked if he'd be ready for the next contest. All the Blazers have said was that he participated in some portions of practice on Sunday, and with players notoriously optimistic about their recoveries, especially in the playoffs, we're going to need to see harder news before declaring AA ready to return. • Beal stays late for extra shooting work
Bradley Beal stayed late after Washington's Game 1 win to get in extra shooting work.

Advice: Beal managed to make just 6-of-23 shots, and that prompted the extra session. "Have to," Beal said of the additional work. "Can’t shoot 6 for 23. Just want to get a rhythm. I’ve got to just make sure everything’s feeling good still." Kudos to the Florida product for putting in the work after his team won, a move several players wouldn't have necessarily made. • Chandler Parsons aggravates knee in Game 1
Chandler Parsons aggravated his knee injury in the Mavericks Game 1 loss, and he's questionable to play in Game 2 vs. Houston on Tuesday.

Advice: "I just landed and I felt some pain," he said. "My leg just kind of gave out on me. I couldn’t really shake it. It didn’t feel great." Parsons then added, "Something happened when I landed and it was real painful. We have a lot of work to do here and I hope it doesn’t swell up overnight." Parsons is obviously not right, and he's unlikely to be 100 percent at any point in the opening round. Rotoworld.com

  • Kawhi Leonard's +/- rating a team-worst -21
Kawhi Leonard scored a team-high 18 points during a Game 1 loss on Sunday, hitting 7-of-12 shots with six boards, three assists and four steals.

Advice: Kawhi also turned the ball over four times and missed three of his six FT attempts, finishing with a team-worst +/- rating at -21. That might be a first. The No. 6 seed Spurs lack homecourt advantage and they trail 0-1 in the series with Game 2 looming on Wednesday. The Rockets in 1995 were the last No. 6 seed to win an NBA championship, with a roster that included Hakeem Olajuwon, Clyde Drexler, Kenny Smith, Sam Cassell and Robert Horry. Rotoworld.com

  • Arron Afflalo (shoulder) out for Game 1
Updating a previous report, Arron Afflalo (shoulder) has officially been ruled out for Game 1 against the Grizzlies.

Advice: Head coach Terry Stotts said that Afflalo is getting better every day, and that he's getting his range of motion back, so it sounds like he's getting close to being available. However, he’ll be forced to spend Game 1 on the sidelines, and it'll be Allen Crabbe and C.J. McCollum being asked to fill the void in his absence, with McCollum offering the most upside. • Afflalo (shoulder) going through warmups
Arron Afflalo (shoulder) was spotted going through a pregame workout at full speed, and it's looking like he'll be a game-time decision for Sunday's Game 1 vs. the Grizzlies.

Advice: Afflalo is still being listed as doubtful, but the fact that he's going through a workout at full speed is certainly a positive sign. He's currently in the second week of his initial 1-2 week timetable, so there is a chance he takes the floor tonight, and we'll be monitoring this situation closely. If he is able to play, C.J. McCollum's value would take a sizable hit, and Allen Crabbe may fall entirely out of the rotation. Rotoworld.com

  • J.R. Smith limited by foul trouble in Game 1
Foul trouble limited J.R. Smith to just 19 minutes of action during Game 1 against the Celtics on Sunday, and he managed just nine points on 3-of-9 shooting.

Advice: Smith added two 3-pointers, four rebounds, one assist and one turnover, and he just wasn't much of a factor today. Smith is basically an all-or-nothing kind of guy, but when he gets hot, he can really light up the 3-point category. We'd expect a bit of a bounce-back performance for Game 2 on Tuesday. • Jason Terry scores 16 points vs. the Mavs
Jason Terry scored 16 points on 6-of-10 from the field against the Mavs on Saturday with four boards, one assist, two steals and four 3-pointers in 26 minutes.

Advice: The JET had a little redemption against his former team and you could see it in his eye that this game meant a little more to him. He's going to do almost all his work off the ball and had seven attempts from deep. He'll have a similar role going forward. Rotoworld.com

  • Playoff Brow Engaged: Anthony Davis scores 35
Anthony Davis' terrific game wasn't enough against the Warriors during a 106-99 loss on Saturday, scoring 35 points with seven rebounds, one assist, one steal and four blocks.

Advice: He scored 20 points in 12 fourth-quarter minutes and his advanced stats were truly awesome. In that frame, he had a true shooting percentage of 79.1, a usage rate of 42.8 and a net rating of 44.0, which made this game fairly close after it looked to be over in the third. The Pelicans need to give him the ball more or else they'll be out of the playoffs in four games. That's even more true with Tyreke Evans (knee) suffering a knee injury. Rotoworld.com

  • Jrue Holiday gets 21 minutes
Jrue Holiday played 21 minutes against the Warriors on Saturday with four points, two rebounds, five assists, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Advice: The Pelicans needed a little more out of Holiday today because Tyreke Evans could not return from a knee bruise. Holiday didn't play in the final five minutes of this game, so the team likely went into today's game with a minutes restriction in mind due to his leg issues. He'll likely be in the 22-25 minute range in Game 2 on Monday. Rotoworld.com

  • Bradley Beal scores 16 points in 48 minutes
Bradley Beal made 6-of-23 from the field for 16 points against the Raptors during an overtime 93-86 win on Saturday, adding nine rebounds, six assists, one steal, four turnovers and one 3-pointer in 48 minutes.

Advice: Coach Randy Wittman went to a Beal pick-and-roll quite a bit in this game, but it wasn't really a productive play for them. He really struggled down the stretch today and that's been a problem for him in his career. On the lighter side, Kyle Lowry fouled Beal for Lowry's sixth foul and Beal waved goodbye to Lowry. Beal might play off the ball a little more should he have another off game like this one. Rotoworld.com

  • Arron Afflalo listed as doubtful for Sunday
Arron Afflalo (shoulder) is listed as doubtful to play against the Grizzlies on Sunday.

Advice: The good news is that he's getting closer and is even getting his shots up on Friday, but Afflalo might need two weeks to heal from his shoulder strain suffered on Apr. 9. C.J. McCollum will benefit most even if the Blazers opt to go with Allen Crabbe as the starter, which could definitely happen. Rotoworld.com

  • Arron Afflalo (shoulder) goes through a workout
Arron Afflalo (shoulder) went through a workout on Friday and attempted some shots.

Advice: He was drenched in sweat and taking some shots today bodes well for his chances to play. Still, Afflalo was outplayed by C.J. McCollum, so he might not play more than 32 minutes in the first round. Fantasy owners might want to use someone else in postseason formats or in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Trevor Booker would like to remain w/ Utah
Trevor Booker said he would like to return with the Jazz next season.

Advice: The Jazz have a team option on Booker for next season, so it'll be interesting to see if they pick that up. He does fit well in Utah's system, and he is a quality reserve to have, so there's a chance he remains in Utah. However, as long as Derrick Favors and Rudy Gobert are healthy, Booker will have zero fantasy value in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Trevor Booker doesn't play on Wednesday
Trevor Booker had some knee issues on Wednesday and did not play.

Advice: He had a really good run heading into tonight, but it's important to remember Booker is a little injury prone. Still, he's been a nice little addition this season for the Jazz. Rotoworld.com

  • Anthony Davis leads Pels to playoffs, OKC out
Anthony Davis had 31 points, 13 rebounds, two assists, two steals and three blocks on 12-of-26 shooting as the Pelicans beat the Spurs 108-103 in Wednesday's finale.

Advice: The win not only put the Pelicans in the playoffs, but knocked the Oklahoma City Thunder out. AD played well down the stretch and calmly knocked down open jumpers and blocked a couple shots to close the door on the Spurs. The Pelicans will face the Warriors (who have lost just two home games this season) in the first round of the playoffs, when Davis will make his postseason debut. And getting to see both Davis and Steph Curry in a playoff series should be a treat to watch. Rotoworld.com

  • J.R. Smith not starting second half
J.R. Smith will not start the second half against the Wizards on Wednesday.

Advice: He's probably done for the night, checking out with no points, three assists and one turnover. Smith also had a zero-point game on Apr. 10, but he did have a huge game on Monday with 28 points. Needless to say, he's happy to be with the Cavs on the basketball side of things. Rotoworld.com

  • Jae Crowder (rest) out on Wednesday night

  • Bradley Beal not playing on Wednesday
Bradley Beal will not play against the Cavs on Wednesday.

Advice: He's healthy and is just getting some rest on the second half of a back-to-back set. Rasual Butler and Otto Porter will get a ton of minutes in the starting lineup. Martell Webster should get some playing time, too. Rotoworld.com
