  • David Lee (hamstring) likely out until Dec
David Lee (hamstring) is not expected to return to the lineup until at least Dec. 2.

Advice: He's not close to returning and the Warriors learned their lesson on bring him back so soon. Considering how well Draymond Green and Marreese Speights are playing right now, there is no rush. Lee isn't a must-own player while Green is a must-start guy right now. Rotoworld.com

  • Pau Gasol is still a game-time call
Coach Tom Thibodeau is confident Pau Gasol (calf) will play on Monday.

Advice: He is still going to warm up and the Bulls will go from there. This update is basically meaningless, so check back shortly to see what the Bulls decide to do. If he's out, Nikola Mirotic will get some serious run. Rotoworld.com

  • Rudy Gay listed as questionable for Tuesday
Rudy Gay (Achilles) is listed as questionable for Tuesday to face the Pelicans.

Advice: He is still dealing with right Achilles tendinitis and this issue is not going to go away any time soon. Gay does sound like he has a chance to play, but his owners will want to check back to see if he goes through shootaround. If he's out, Omri Casspi will start. Rotoworld.com

  • Brandon Davies back in the starting lineup
Brandon Davies is starting against the Blazers on Monday.

Advice: He will likely have a tough day at the office because he's going to guard LaMarcus Aldridge. Davies has been very inconsistent and he is likely just going to split minutes at power forward with Nerlens Noel. Robert Covington is also a candidate to get minutes at the four. This is a situation to avoid in most fantasy leagues right now. Rotoworld.com

  • Nerlens Noel is coming off the bench Monday
Nerlens Noel will come off the bench against the Blazers on Monday.

Advice: It will be Michael Carter-Williams, Tony Wroten, Luc Mbah a Moute, Henry Sims and Brandon Davies starting tonight. Noel was awful against the Knicks on Saturday and he's simply fouling way too much right now. His fantasy owners should not have confidence in him right now, but he's still worth stashing. • Tyler Hansbrough will not play on Monday
Tyler Hansbrough (shoulder) will not play against the Suns on Monday.

Advice: He doesn't do much while he's on the court and has very little fantasy value. Hansbrough is not worth owning in just about any league. Rotoworld.com

  • James Johnson will play on Monday night
James Johnson (ankle) will play against the Suns on Monday night.

Advice: He has been out since Nov. 16 with what looked like a severe ankle sprain, but Johnson is likely going to see his normal minutes. He was actually turning in mid-round value because of all the defensive stats, so he's worth a look in standard leagues. To be clear, he's not a must-own player and obviously won't be a mid-round guy on the season. Rotoworld.com

  • Tobias Harris (calf) out again on Monday
Tobias Harris (calf) will not play on Monday night against the Cavs.

Advice: This will be his second game out of the lineup and the Magic will have to tweak their rotation again. Nikola Vucevic had a career game last time out while Elfrid Payton benefitted as Evan Fournier and Victor Oladipo held down the wings. Moe Harkless will also get more burn. Rotoworld.com

  • JaKarr Sampson back up for Philly
JaKarr Sampson was recalled by the Sixers on Monday.

Advice: He is arguably the worst player in the NBA right now, making 24.1 percent from the field. Sampson is also shooting 7.7 percent on his jumpers thanks to having a defender on him within four feet 54.2 percent of the time. Yes, this is entirely too much information on Sampson. Rotoworld.com

  • Carlos Boozer misses practice on Monday
Carlos Boozer (shoulder) missed practice on Monday.

Advice: He missed Sunday's game against the Nuggets despite being listed as probable. Boozer has been a guy who usually takes a lot longer to get over his injuries, so there is a chance he sits on Wednesday against the Grizzlies. If that is the case, Ed Davis (ankle) and Robert Sacre will get some more playing time. Jordan Hill also played a ridiculous 42 minutes on Sunday. Rotoworld.com

  • Ed Davis, Carlos Boozer miss practice on Monday
Ed Davis (ankle) and Carlos Boozer (shoulder) missed practice on Monday.

Advice: Davis drew the start on Sunday, but was a major letdown with just four points, five rebounds, one assist, one block and six fouls in 22 minutes against a soft Nuggets D. His ankle injury is not considered serious and we would expect him to play against the Grizzlies on Wednesday. The "revenge game" narrative has lost some of its mojo, so Davis might not be a great play for that one. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Durant has some contact in practice
Kevin Durant (foot) went through some contact in practice on Monday.

Advice: He has a big evaluation coming up on Thanksgiving, but his return is getting close. At the very earliest, he could play Friday, but that would be extremely optimistic. His owner should bench him because he is not even allowed to play on Wednesday because of the NBA's hardship exception. The Thunder only have a Friday game after that. Anyone who grabbed KD in their drafts should feel pretty good right now. Rotoworld.com

  • Nene (foot) isn't able to practice on Monday
Nene (foot) wasn't able to practice on Monday.

Advice: Nene is dealing with plantar fasciitis in his left foot, so the extra rest during practice may become a regular routine for the big man. There's nothing to suggest he's going to miss time at this point, but that's always a possibility with him. If he is forced to miss time, Kris Humphries and Kevin Seraphin would benefit the most. • Thaddeus Young returns to practice Monday
Thaddeus Young (personal) returned to practice on Monday.

  • Omer Asik gets in some practice on Monday
Omer Asik (back) was able to get in some practice on Monday.

Advice: Asik's back has been an issue for a week now, so it's good to see him get in some practice. It's nebulous as to what exactly he was able to do, but some progress is better than no progress. We'll consider him iffy for Tuesday's game against the Kings. Rotoworld.com

  • Pau Gasol now a game-time call on Monday
Pau Gasol (calf) is now a game-time decision for Monday's game versus Utah.

Advice: Gasol was previously listed as probable, so the game-time decision designation is actually a downgrade. Regardless, Gasol said he was feeling good about returning, so it would be a surprise if he can't go. However, we've seen surprises with Gasol and the Bulls' injury report this season, so we're not ruling it out. If Gasol doesn't play, Nikola Mirotic would be in line for a big role with Taj Gibson (ankle) already ruled out. Joakim Noah would also play as many minutes as he can handle. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron James says he needs to play harder
LeBron James recently said that he needs to play harder.

Advice: I've been kind of waiting around a little bit to see what may happen, sometimes it's been good, sometimes it hasn't been good," he said. "I've got a pretty good, clear cut of what I'm going to be doing going forward, I'm not going to tell you right now, so don't ask me." That's great, but the Cavs still look like a mess and LeBron remains far too passive. The Cavs need to figure it out, and figure it out soon. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Williams capitalizing on playing time
Derrick Williams is looking to take advantage of his recent playing time.

Advice: Previously an afterthought in Sacramento, Williams is in a contract season and looking to prove he belongs in the NBA. "It’s a big year for myself, but I never want to put pressure on myself," he said. Williams has played back-to-back games of at least 22 minutes and is averaging 11 points and four rebounds over that span. He'll need to do a lot more to make an impression on us, but it's good that he's doing all of the right things while waiting for his opportunity. Rotoworld.com

  • David West (ankle) 'getting close' to return
David West (ankle) is "getting close" to returning.

Advice: West went through an intense workout on Saturday and didn't need any medical tape around his right ankle to do it, so the veteran finally appears closing in on a return. When he does come back, Luis Scola will return to his typical reserve role. Rotoworld.com

  • Noel, Wroten (stomach virus) probable Monday
Nerlens Noel and Tony Wroten both missed shootaround with a stomach virus, but each is expected to play on Monday against the Blazers.

Advice: The ailment doesn't seem serious since they're already being called probable, but owners may want to check in after shootaround to be sure they're both in the lineup. Noel's absence would mean more time for Brandon Davies, Henry Sims and Robert Covington, while Wroten's absence would increase time for Michael Carter-Williams, and possibly Hollis Thompson and K.J. McDaniels. Rotoworld.com

  • Tobias Harris will be game-time call Monday
Tobias Harris (calf) will be a game-time decision on Monday.

Advice: Harris won't go through shootaround, but he'll warm up prior to the game to see if he can give it a go. If Harris is forced to sit out, Moe Harkless should see a few more minutes, but it will basically result in a slight upticks in playing time across the board for the Magic's key contributors like Victor Oladipo and Channing Frye. • Mason Plumlee struggling to find his game
Mason Plumlee is shooting under 40 percent from the field and has fallen behind Jerome Jordan in the rotation.

Advice: "It's not what I expected," he said. "I want to stay away from the word frustrated, because you just have to look forward, focus on what positives there is and just start playing better." Plumlee is shooting under 50 percent from the free-throw line as well and has been downright awful this season. Rotoworld.com

  • Joakim Noah calls Mirotic a difference-maker
Joakim Noah said Nikola Mirotic is a "difference-maker at the offensive end."

Advice: Mirotic balled out on Friday without Taj Gibson (ankle) and Pau Gasol (calf) available with 24 points, 11 rebounds and four 3-pointers, but he's going to need injuries ahead of him to produce like that regularly. He has an offensive game that's very capable of helping fantasy teams, but he's limited by his current role. Rotoworld.com

  • Taj Gibson not a lock to return on Friday
Taj Gibson (ankle) is uncertain to return by Friday's game against the Celtics.

Advice: Gibson has already been ruled out of Monday and Tuesday's contests, and he's not even traveling with the team currently. Tom Thibodeau said there isn't much swelling, the Bulls won't take any chances with letting Gibson's ankle injury linger. Nikola Mirotic stands to benefit from Gibson's absence. Rotoworld.com

  • Andrei Kirilenko could be traded away by Nets
Andrei Kirilenko is likely to be traded, and a few teams have emerged with some interest.

Advice: Philadelphia (of course) is said to be interested if it nets them an extra asset or two in the form of picks, while Cleveland is monitoring Kirilenko and the Jazz may have some interest in a reunion. In the Utah scenario, Kirilenko would be dealt after December 15 for Toure Murry and Jeremy Evans. Regardless of where he's ultimately sent, Kirilenko's days as an impact player are over. He remains away from the team indefinitely. Rotoworld.com

  • Speights thanks Kendrick Perkins for big game
After scoring a season-high 28 points on 11-of-18 shooting during Sunday's win in Oklahoma City, Marreese Speights thanked Thunder center Kendrick Perkins.

Advice: Speights almost single-handedly kept the Warriors in the game after Andrew Bogut left with an orbital contusion, and afterward coach Steve Kerr could only say, "Mo Speights, again, is ridiculous." He used the spotlight to take a shot at his adversary Perkins, saying, "[Perkins] thinks he’s a tough guy, but at the end of the day, his game is terrible. He always has something to say to me, every time we play against each other. It always gets me going, so: ‘Shout out to Perkins’ for helping me get this game." Rotoworld.com

  • Ed Davis OK despite minor ankle tweak Sunday
Ed Davis tweaked his ankle during Sunday's game but he confirmed afterward that he'll be fine.

Advice: Davis started at PF with Carlos Boozer (shoulder) sidelined, and he was mad at himself for fouling out in just 22 minutes. He's averaging 5.4 fouls per 36 minutes this season so it's not exactly shocking, and his fantasy owners can take solace in the fact that his ankle injury shouldn't limit him vs. the Grizzlies on Wednesday. • Kenneth Faried logs just 19 minutes vs. LAL
Kenneth Faried was victimized by Brian Shaw's rotations on Sunday, scoring eight points with just one rebound and one steal in 19 minutes during Denver's road win in L.A.

Advice: Faried sat out until the bitter end of the fourth quarter and the entirety of overtime. He signed a four-year, $50 million extension during the offseason, but coach Brian Shaw may not have received the memo. Darrell Arthur (nine points in 19 minutes) played just as much as Faried, and J.J. Hickson (six points in 12 minutes) wasn't far behind. Faried started slow last year before picking it up after the All-Star break, and owners should do their utmost not to trade him for pennies on the dollar. Rotoworld.com

  • J.J. Hickson plays well in return to rotation
J.J. Hickson returned to the Nuggets' rotation on Sunday, scoring six points with eight rebounds in just 12 minutes off the bench.

Advice: JaVale McGee barely played before going down with a strained leg, and Kenneth Faried was held to 19 minutes, so Hickson benefitted from a deep-but-thin frontcourt rotation tonight. Given that he hadn't played in Denver's previous three games, there's simply no reason to trust him in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Ed Davis starts but fouls out in 22 minutes
Ed Davis started at PF on Sunday with Carlos Boozer (shoulder) out, but he fouled out in just 22 minutes with four points, five rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block.

Advice: He tweaked an ankle in the second half but that wasn't the cause of his lousy game -- he gambled too often defensively and spoiled a golden opportunity to make his claim to the starting PF job. Boozer is day-to-day and all signs point to him starting again once he's healthy, so Davis' owners will have to content themselves with top-100 value in 20-25 minutes off the bench. Rotoworld.com

  • Marreese Speights drops season-high 28 points
Marreese Speights caught fire once Andrew Bogut went down with an orbital contusion on Sunday, scoring a season-high 28 points on 11-of-18 shooting in just 25 minutes of action.

Advice: Speights has been a scoring machine off Golden State's bench this year, averaging 10.2 points in just 13.3 minutes per game. He added seven rebounds and two assists tonight, without any steals or blocks, and should be a terrific fill-in fantasy option if Bogut's injury costs him any games. Rotoworld.com

  • Ed Davis makes first start of season Sunday
Ed Davis will make his first start of the season on Sunday, replacing Carlos Boozer (shoulder).

Advice: Davis is indisputably a better defender than Boozer but coach Byron Scott has been reticent to start him, presumably because he doesn't space the court with his jump-shooting. Boozer is day-to-day so owners shouldn't alter Davis' outlook based upon tonight's rare start. Rotoworld.com

  • Carlos Boozer (shoulder) ruled out vs. Denver
Carlos Boozer (shoulder) will not play vs. the Nuggets on Sunday.

Advice: He was listed as probable after missing Saturday's practice, was downgraded to questionable on Sunday afternoon, and ultimately ruled out an hour before tip-off. Ed Davis will get the start at PF in his absence, which should shore up the Lakers' leaky interior defense, and he's worth spot-starting as long as Boozer is sidelined. Rotoworld.com

  • David Lee (hamstring) targeting Friday return
David Lee (hamstring) is targeting a return for Friday vs. the Hornets, or Saturday vs. the Pistons.

Advice: It's unclear if Lee would return as a starter or a reserve, but he'd likely be on a minutes restriction during his first couple of games, and given Draymond Green's impressive play it seems likely Lee would come off the bench initially. We'll be monitoring this situation closely, so stay tuned for more updates as we draw closer to Friday's tip. Rotoworld.com

  • Carlos Boozer (shoulder) questionable Sunday
Carlos Boozer (shoulder) is being listed as questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Advice: If Boozer is unable to go, Ed Davis will draw the start, and depending on how Davis fares the move could become permanent. Scott has grown tired of Boozer's uninspired play on the defensive end, as he's currently sitting on a +/- rating of minus-90 on the season. Meanwhile, Davis has been racking up the defensive stats in limited playing time and is currently a plus-6 on the year. If Boozer is unable to suit up Sunday, Davis could see his minutes in the 30s, and would make for a solid plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Taj Gibson (ankle) out Monday and Tuesday
Taj Gibson (ankle) was sent home to Chicago to be evaluated by team doctors, and he will not play Monday vs. the Jazz or Tuesday vs. the Nuggets.

Advice: Nikola Mirotic will be the main beneficiary of Gibson's absence, and he is coming off a 24-point 11-rebound outing vs. Portland. If Pau Gasol (calf) is also unable to suit up on Monday, Mirotic is going to get all the minutes he can handle, and he makes for a decent speculative add in standard leagues for owners with roster space. Just know that Mirotic's value could be short-lived with Gasol nearing a return. Rotoworld.com

  • Pau Gasol probable, Derrick Rose questionable
Pau Gasol (calf) is probable for Monday's game against Utah, while Derrick Rose (hamstring) remains questionable.

Advice: Gasol said that he's feeling much better and chances are "pretty high" he'll return, while Rose's situation remains the status quo. I Gasol is unable to go for some reason, Nikola Mirotic would be in for a heavy heaping of minutes with Taj Gibson (ankle) already ruled out for Monday and Tuesday. • LeBron James: Cavs are 'very fragile'
LeBron James said after Saturday's game that the Cavaliers are "a very fragile team right now."

Advice: "Any little adversity that hits us, we just shell up," James said. "This is not even the lowest it's going to get for us ... It's still too early for me to be negative at all. Once I crack then it will trickle down to everybody else." He finished Saturday's loss with a relatively quiet 15 points and 10 assists, and it wouldn't be surprising if he looked for his own shot more vs. the Magic on Monday. Rotoworld.com

  • Andrei Kirilenko may not rejoin Brooklyn
Andrei Kirilenko still hasn't rejoined the Nets for "personal reasons" and the team is likely to either trade him or waive his contract.

Advice: A deal has been discussed with Philadelphia, involving Kirilenko and Sergey Karasev, but that wouldn't happen until Dec. 15 at the earliest. The Sixers' rotations are chaotic enough that AK and Karasev would be unlikely to hold reliable value in standard leagues, assuming they are even dealt to Philly. Rotoworld.com

  • Nene's plantar fasciitis in his right foot
Nene's plantar fasciitis is in his right foot, not the left foot that derailed his 2012-13 season.

Advice: "I think he’s OK," said Wizards coach Randy Wittman. "I haven’t been able to talk with the trainer or anything to get exactly what’s going on." Nene said the pain has developed "over time" and we're considering him questionable for Tuesday's home game vs. the Hawks, the first in a back-to-back set for Washington. • Nerlens Noel scores 17 points with 12 boards
Nerlens Noel scored a career-high 17 points against the Knicks on Saturday with 12 rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 39 minutes.

Advice: The minutes were also impressive tonight. Noel was taking a lot of lazy jumpers in the early going, but he may have realized he had a chance to be able to dominate inside. He did only make 5-of-10 from the line tonight and that bugaboo will limit his upside. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Williams gets 12 points in 30 minutes
Derrick Williams had a solid game off the bench on Saturday, making 4-of-7 FGs and 3-of-4 FTs with one 3-pointer to finish with 12 points in a road win in Minnesota.

Advice: He logged a season-high 30 minutes, which limited Carl Landry to eight minutes and handed Reggie Evans a DNP-CD. This was likely a matchup-based decision by coach Mike Malone, as Williams was better suited to keep pace with the young Wolves' forwards, and we'll need to see a few more strong games before recommending him in fantasy leagues. • LeBron James, Cavs drop fourth straight
LeBron James started Saturday's game vs. the Raptors with a flurry of energy, but he finished with 15 points, 10 assists, one steal and one block as the Cavaliers stumbled to a 17-point home loss.

Advice: LBJ said he felt good before the game, and began with a spirited intensity that was sorely lacking in Friday's defeat, but elation gave way to frustration as Cleveland let an early lead slip away. The Cavs will have their ups and downs throughout the regular season, but we can count on LeBron to put up phenomenal fantasy stats no matter what the circumstances. Rotoworld.com

  • Nene leaves Saturday with plantar fasciitis
Nene started Saturday's game but only played six minutes before being ruled out with plantar fasciitis.

Advice: Uh oh. Nene's 2012-13 season was spoiled by a never-ending bout of plantar fasciitis, so this is an ominous development just three weeks into the season. Kris Humphries is the most likely player to start at PF if Nene misses any time, while DeJuan Blair and Drew Gooden could find themselves back in the frontcourt rotation. Advice: He had an aggravation in Friday warmups and didn't have much of a chance to play tonight. With Asik out, Alexis Ajinca will get some extra playing time, but he's not a great fantasy option. Asik could miss more time and he's not a must-own player. Rotoworld.com

Tobias Harris (right calf strain) will not play on Saturday against the Heat.

Advice: Wow. This comes out of nowhere and he has no history of any calf issues coming into today. Harris may need an MRI on his calf and we'll be watching for any info on his prognosis. We'll consider him questionable for Monday for now. The Magic will likely have to lean more on Moe Harkless, but they will also likely use Victor Oladipo more at the three. Carlos Boozer is dealing with a sore shoulder and missed Saturday's practice, but he's probable to play vs. Denver on Sunday.

Advice: There is no indication that he is in jeopardy of missing Sunday's game against the Nuggets. Advice: Both players will be evaluated around Thanksgiving, conceivably setting up returns on Friday, Nov. 28 or Tuesday, Dec. 2. It's encouraging that Durant has ramped up to limited practice six weeks after being diagnosed with a Jones fracture, which left him with an initial timetable of 6-8 weeks. Rotoworld.com

  • Omer Asik (back) doubtful to play vs. Jazz
Omer Asik (back) is doubtful to play vs. the Jazz on Saturday.

Advice: Asik aggravated his lower back while warming up prior to Friday's game and it sounds like he'll miss his third straight game in Utah, but there's still a chance he'll recover in time to play. Alexis Ajinca has been very quiet as a fill-in starter in Asik's absence and there are no real fantasy winners in this scenario. Rotoworld.com

  • Taj Gibson (ankle) frustrated by third sprain
Taj Gibson sprained his left ankle for the third time since last year's playoffs on Friday, saying afterward, "I have to stop trying to run back out there and trying to play through these things."

Advice: "I pushed through a whole summer of trying to rehab the same ankle and it just keeps flaring up," Gibson said. "I just keep having these little bum ankle turns ... I have to be patient ... We've got a long season, but the dog in me wants to be out there and play. I have to learn from this." The ongoing nature of Gibson's injury suggests he'll miss significant time with his latest sprain, though fantasy owners can expect plenty of nebulous injury updates from the Bulls in the days to come. Nikola Mirotic posted a 20-10 game after Gibson went down on Friday, though his role will be limited once Pau Gasol (calf) gets back on the court. Rotoworld.com

Pau Gasol (calf) went through on-court drills on Friday and wrote that he's "getting closer to [a] return."

  • Nerlens Noel may have planned flagrant foul
Nerlens Noel may have premeditated the flagrant foul he delivered to Eric Bledsoe just after tip-off on Friday, as Bledsoe was "tipped off" that it was coming before the game.

Advice: Bledsoe said in a recent interview that his former school Kentucky could "definitely" beat the 76ers, to which Noel and his Philly teammates reasonably took exception. This is unlikely to go any further, but it's worth watching since the NBA wouldn't take kindly to a retaliatory flagrant. Rotoworld.com

  • Cavs coach worried about 'every single thing'
After the Cavaliers fell to 5-6 with a loss on Friday, coach David Blatt said he's concerned about "every single thing" his team is doing.

Advice: "This is the same team a week ago was scoring 120 points a game," Blatt said. "We’re not a different group of people and we're not a different team. We're just playing in the dark right now." When LeBron James was asked whether any of the Cavs' lineups had found a rhythm this year he quickly replied "No," and it doesn't help that Blatt is experimenting with different rotations on a nightly basis. The Cavs will try to right the ship vs. the visiting Raptors on Saturday. Rotoworld.com

  • Nikola Mirotic erupts w/ 24 points, 11 boards
Nikola Mirotic stepped up with Taj Gibson (ankle) getting hurt against the Blazers on Friday, scoring a career-high 24 points with 11 rebounds, two assists and four 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

Advice: Pau Gasol (calf) did not play tonight and X-rays were negative on Gibson's ankle, so he is not a lock for minutes. That said, Mirotic is capable of blocking shots, hitting treys and turning in good percentages, so it's not a bad idea to add him speculatively in some leagues. To be clear, we wouldn't cut a player you're going to miss. Rotoworld.com

  • Kenneth Faried finally has a big game
Kenneth Faried scored 19 points against the Pelicans on Friday with eight rebounds, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Advice: It was his best game since the opener and things are finally starting to look up for the Manimal. He made 7-of-12 from the field and snapped a five-game streak of not taking double-digit shots. The buy-low window will likely close quickly on Faried. Rotoworld.com

  • Thibs downplays Gibson's ankle injury
Coach Tom Thibodeau downplayed the ankle injury suffered by Taj Gibson on Friday night against the Blazers, saying he didn't think it was serious despite Gibson leaving the arena on crutches and in a walking boot.

Advice: X-rays taken were negative but there is a different vibe coming from writers that think he may need at least a little time to get his ankle right. Owners speculating on Nikola Mirotic (24 points, 11 rebounds, four threes) may want to tap the breaks here, but the running joke is that Thibs doesn't think any injury is serious. With Pau Gasol set to come back sooner rather than later it would appear, Mirotic is more of a flier than anything in 12-14 team formats. In daily formats owners could be able to squeeze a few good games out of him. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron James scores 22 points; Cavs now 5-6
LeBron James scored 22 points in a loss to the 91-78 loss to the Wizards on Friday to go with four rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers in 39 minutes.

Advice: The Cavs are 5-6 and LeBron is below .500 after playing in at least 10 games since the 2007-08 season. The Cavs also had a 76ers-like 82.0 offensive efficiency rating tonight. While everyone is going to overreact, LeBron has been a top-10 player in fantasy leagues despite not even being close to as great as he was last season. Rotoworld.com

  • Taj Gibson hurts ankle in Friday's game
Taj Gibson hit the ground after hurting his left ankle in Friday's game and did not return.

Advice: He was helped off the floor by teammates and he is already on crutches, and it's the same ankle he hurt against the Cavs. Nikola Mirotic has looked pretty good with Pau Gasol out and he'll clearly take a backseat to Gasol and Joakim Noah, but in that injury prone crew he'll also be well-positioned if the injury bug strikes. We don't have a timetable on Gibson since the injury just occurred, but Mirotic is worth a look as a speculative add for any low-upside or risky player on your roster. Rotoworld.com

David Lee (hamstring) is "making good progress" according to the Warriors and he will be evaluated again on their current road trip.

Advice: We'll need to see a bit more progress before arbitrarily assuming he's close to being back, but it's a good report nonetheless. His minutes and starting status will be in doubt upon his return, but he'll still be worth owning in all formats. Rotoworld.com

Tobias Harris scored 17 points on 5-of-16 shooting (7-of-8 FTs) with 16 rebounds, one steal and two blocks in Friday's road win over the Hornets.

  • Nerlens Noel has a brutal game vs. Suns
Nerlens Noel had a horrible game against the Suns on Friday with three points, five rebounds, two assists and four fouls in 28 minutes.

Advice: He did not start the second half because he had four fouls before the break. Noel's big preseason and impressive summer league seem like a distant memory, averaging just 6.0 points, 6.4 boards, 1.0 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.8 blocks ad 2.2 turnovers on 39.4 percent from the field and 28.6 from the line over his last five. It's probably going to be a while before he's a top-100 contributor. Rotoworld.com

  • Update: Omer Asik now out against Nuggets
Omer Asik (back) will not play against the Nuggets on Friday.

Advice: He aggravated his back injury in warmups and chances are he is going to miss more time. Asik isn't a must-own player anymore considering he doesn't have a high upside. Alexis Ajinca will start again, but doesn't have much fantasy value. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Durant to have non-contact practice Sat
Kevin Durant (foot) will go through a non-contact practice on Saturday.

Advice: He is getting closer to a return and has gone through some shooting drill. Durant is still a couple weeks off his original prognosis, but it's great to see he hasn't fallen behind. If you drafted him in the first round, this is all you can ask for from the best player in fantasy hoops for each of the last five seasons. Rotoworld.com

  • Tyler Hansbrough (shoulder) out Friday
Tyler Hansbrough (shoulder) will not play Friday vs. the Bucks.

Advice: Hansbrough is averaging a meager 3.4 points and 3.8 rebounds over 17.5 minutes of action this season, so he's not worth owning in most leagues. His absence will result in more minutes for Amir Johnson and Patrick Patterson, but Amir is the guy to own here. Bruno Caboclo and Lucas Nogueira will also be joining the active roster tonight, but neither Caboclo nor Nogueira will see major minutes, if any. Rotoworld.com

  • Omer Asik is questionable for Friday
Omer Asik (back) is questionable to face the Nuggets on Friday.

The Sixers and Nets have been in talks to make a deal involving Andrei Kirilenko and Sergey Karasev.

  • JaKarr Sampson sent to 87ers
JaKarr Sampson has been sent to the 87ers in the D-League.

Advice: It's about time. Amazingly, Sampson posted a plus-minus per game of minus-16.7 in just 14.7 minutes per game over his last five, which is just totally 76ers. He probably won't be back up any time soon. Rotoworld.com

  • Pau Gasol will not play on Friday night
Pau Gasol (calf) will not play against the Blazers on Friday night.

Advice: This will be his third game out of the lineup since being called "probable" for Monday. Gasol has been outstanding with the Bulls, but perhaps he was playing too many minutes. Taj Gibson was a letdown on Thursday thanks to Jason Thompson playing out of his mind on defense, but his owners should fire him up in all leagues tonight. Rotoworld.com

  • David West (ankle) returns to practice Friday
David West (ankle) was a limited participant during Friday's practice and is not expected to return until after Thanksgiving.

Advice: West remains without a definitive return date, but his return to practice is a positive sign. He'll provide the Pacers with some much needed offense when he’s finally able to suit up, and should be owned in all leagues for his ability to put up points and boards with high percentages. Luis Scola and Lavoy Allen will continue to help fill the void with West sidelined, but neither guy is worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Andrei Kirilenko is not traveling w/ the Nets
Andrei Kirilenko (personal) is not traveling with the Nets on their current road trip, and head coach Lionel Hollins doesn't know when/if he'll return.

Advice: Kirilenko has completely fallen out of the Nets rotation, and sources are saying the situation may not be resolved until he's on another team. AK-47 isn't worth owning in any league, as most of his season averages fall on the right side of the decimal point, and when he's in uniform there's no guarantee he steps on the court. It's looking like he may have played his last game wearing a Brooklyn jersey. Rotoworld.com

  • Rudy Gay puts up an efficient 20 points
Rudy Gay made 7-of-11 from the field for 20 points against the Bulls on Thursday and added seven rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes.

Advice: He was probable to play with some Achilles soreness and he did have a heating pad on his foot in the fourth quarter. According to TNT's telecast, the Kings were planning on treating him in the game, so there's no need to worry. There is a chance this becomes an issue later, but Gay should be in all lineups right now. Rotoworld.com

  • Taj Gibson has a letdown game in Sacramento
Taj Gibson scored 12 points with eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 34 minutes against the Kings on Thursday.

Advice: Gibson owners had higher hopes than this tonight as the starting power forward. In his seven starts at power forward last season, he averaged 20.6 points, 9.7 boards, 1.7 blocks and 0.9 steals. Pau Gasol (calf) could miss more time, so Gibson owners should continue to have him locked into their lineups until further notice. Rotoworld.com

  • David Lee's re-evaluation pushed back to Fri.
David Lee's (hamstring) re-evaluation will now take place on Friday rather than Thursday.

Advice: Lee went through some 5-on-0 portions of Wednesday's practice, and he was expected to be re-evaluated today, but that will have to wait another day. He's likely going to be eased back into the rotation, so owners still holding on will need to be patient upon his initial return. He sounds doubtful for Friday's game against the Jazz. Rotoworld.com

Rudy Gay (Achilles) is being listed as probable for Thursday's game vs. the Bulls.

Advice: Gay hasn't missed a game yet with his Achilles tendinitis, so we're going to say he's very likely to play in this one. Still, owners will want to check back for an official update as we draw closer to Thursday's tip. If Gay is unable to go, Omri Casspi would likely pick up a majority of his minutes at small forward. James Johnson (ankle) was moving well without a walking boot after the Raptors' practice on Thursday.

Advice: The Raptors' defensive specialist and energizer is questionable for Friday's home game vs. the Bucks. It wouldn't be surprising to see him held out another game as a precaution, but we'll have a much clearer idea of his status after shootaround. Rotoworld.com

Carlos Boozer scored 12 points with 13 rebounds, one assist and two turnovers in 30 minutes against the Rockets on Wednesday.

Advice: He shot just 5-of-15 from the field and wasn't quite as hot as his 20-point, 10-board game on Tuesday. Nobody will bother trading for Boozer in your fantasy league, but he's worth owning as a low-upside guy for his points and boards. Rotoworld.com

  • Kenneth Faried quiet in 30 minutes
Kenneth Faried got 30 minutes from coach Brian Shaw on Wednesday, but had just eight points, 10 rebounds, a steal and zero blocks on 3-of-7 shooting.

Advice: At this point, you have to wonder if Brian Shaw is shunning Faried in the offense in order to keep Faried down. He has too much talent to be this bad all season and blew up after a slow start last year. Just hang in there with him if you can, but if you feel like you have to move him, there should be some owners out there willing to buy low. The good news is he got 30 minutes after playing just 22 on Monday, so there's that. Rotoworld.com

  • Nerlens Noel plays well in start for Sixers
Nerlens Noel started at PF and had 10 points, eight rebounds, two steals and a block on 5-of-10 shooting Wednesday.

  • LeBron, Irving not enough vs. Spurs
LeBron James hit 6-of-17 shots and two 3-pointers for 15 points, six rebounds, nine assists, a steal, a block and five turnovers in Wednesday's loss to the Spurs.

Advice: Kyrie Irving was better on 7-of-15 shooting and three 3-pointers for 20 points, just two assists, and three steals. LeBron's ball handling is probably going to hurt Irving's assist numbers over the course of the season, along with Kevin Love's rebounding and scoring. Had LeBron limited his TOs and made a few more shots tonight, the Cavs would have beaten the Spurs, but they played solid defense against him. LeBron wasn't at his best tonight, but he's having a big season and should be ready to dominate against the Wizards on Friday. Rotoworld.com

  • Tobias Harris scores 25 in ugly loss
Tobias Harris hit 8-of-14 shots, 2-of-2 3-pointers and 7-of-7 free throws for 25 points, three rebounds and a steal on Wednesday.

Advice: Over his last four games, Harris has scored 25, 24, 19 and 26 points, hitting 1.75 3-pointers and grabbing 6.5 rebounds. He's also shooting it lights out, nailing 36-of-60 shots during that stretch. Harris has been one of the steals in fantasy this year and as long as he stays healthy, that's probably not going to change. Brandon Davies will move back to the bench for Wednesday against the Celtics.

  • Nerlens Noel is back in the starting lineup
Nerlens Noel will start next to Michael Carter-Williams, Hollis Thompson, Luc Mbah a Moute and Henry Sims.

Advice: He has been awful in his three games since returning from injury, averaging 5.7 points, 6.3 boards, 1.0 blocks and 3.0 turnovers on 31.8 percent from the field in 25.7 minutes. David Lee (hamstring) went through 5-on-0 portions of practice on Wednesday.

Advice: He is going to be re-evaluated on Thursday, but is still expected to miss the next week. James Johnson (ankle) was seen still wearing a walking boot Wednesday morning, making him highly doubtful to play against his former Memphis team.

Advice: It is not looking good for him, and we had our doubts about him recovering in time for this one anyway. Kevin Durant (right foot) went through a light workout on Tuesday, running pick-and-pop sets with Russell Westbrook and some of OKC's assistant coaches.

Advice: Durant still isn't practicing, let alone taking contact in a full-court scenario, so this doesn't change his timetable. Rudy Gay (Achilles) had a subpar game in 37 minutes of action on Tuesday, making 6-of-17 field goals to finish with 15 points, four rebounds, five assists, one steal and four turnovers.

Advice: Gay didn't appear hobbled and his playing time suggests the Kings' coaches and trainers weren't overly concerned about his Achilles tendinitis, which had him listed as questionable for the game. The Lakers pulled out a five-point road win in Atlanta on Tuesday, aided by Carlos Boozer's 20 points (10-of-14 shooting), 10 rebounds and two assists.

Advice: Boozer was torched defensively but made up the difference with solid rebounding and shooting, which is a nice sight after Sunday's dud (six points on 3-of-13 shooting). He's barely clinging to 14-team value this season, but has picked up the pace over the past week and is worth owning if you need points, boards and solid FG percentages. Rotoworld.com

Ryan Anderson was the guy who absorbed most of Asik's playing time on Monday, however, and he should do so again tonight. Asik is day-to-day and could return as soon as Friday in Denver. • Rudy Gay (Achilles) starting vs. New Orleans
Rudy Gay (Achilles) will start Tuesday's game vs. New Orleans, as expected.

Advice: Gay has some tendinitis in his right Achilles but the fact that he's active indicates it's not serious. He's off to a terrific start this season, averaging 22.5 points and 6.8 rebounds, and it's safe to keep him active in all lineups. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron James wants minutes to come down
LeBron James stated during a recent interview that his minutes have to "come down."

Advice: "For me, I don't want to [play heavy minutes] all year," James said. "Obviously right now it's difficult because we're trying to find a groove and we're trying to find a rhythm and we're trying to find something that you can't really, you don't want to shortcut it but at the same time you gotta be smart about it." James is currently averaging the third-most minutes per game in the NBA at 39.1 per game, but a slight reduction in minutes wouldn't hinder James' value. When LBJ is on the court, he will put up big stat lines, so owners have nothing to worry about with this report. Rotoworld.com

  • Rudy Gay (Achilles) probable Tuesday vs. NO
Rudy Gay (right Achilles tendinitis) has been upgraded to probable for Tuesday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: It's looking likely that Gay will suit up for this one, but owners will want to check back for an official update as we draw closer to Tuesday's tip. If Gay sits, Omri Casspi would likely pick up a majority of the minutes at small forward, and would make for a decent plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Report: Nuggets management not high on Faried
According to sources with knowledge of the Nuggets' thinking, Kenneth Faried is not well liked by the organization, particularly by head coach Brian Shaw.

Advice: "[Faried] is a helluva player and plays hard, but he isn’t well liked [in the organization]," a league source said. "That gets glossed over. He says crazy s---. He thinks he’s the guy, and other guys take exception to his contract." This could perhaps explain why Faried's minutes have regressed this season to just 26.5 per game, however, if the Nuggets were to do some sort of "restructuring," Shaw would likely be the one to go. Denver has been a mess, and they can no longer point to injuries as the main culprit. Faried has been underwhelming following a fantastic summer, but he should be able to eventually turn things around, so he can be viewed as a buy-low guy. Rotoworld.com

  • Thaddeus Young (personal) should return Sun.
Thaddeus Young (personal) is expected to return to the Timberwolves Sunday.

Advice: That means Young will be targeting a return for Nov. 26 vs. the Bucks, and Anthony Bennett will draw at least two more starts this week. Bennett put up 10 points, seven rebounds, and four assists during his last start, and he makes for a nice, low-budget buy in FanDuel as long as Young is sidelined. Rotoworld.com

  • David West (ankle) out Wednesday vs. Hornets
David West (ankle) will not suit up for Wednesday's game vs. the Hornets.

Advice: West's potential return date keeps getting pushed back, and this just really speaks to the severity of the ankle injury he sustained back in October. The Pacers haven't given much updates on West's status, but we'll be monitoring his status closely. Luis Scola and Lavoy Allen will continue to split minutes at power forward with West sidelined, but neither guy is a very attractive option in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron James working on relationship w/Blatt
LeBron James is still working on building a relationship with Cavaliers head coach David Blatt.

Advice: James and Blatt had somewhat contrary statements about the Cavs' energy level after Monday's loss to the Nuggets, but we're still only nine games into the regular season so it's not time to send the two to counseling just yet. "Every day we continue to learn each other, as a group, as individuals," James said before the Cavs' loss. "He's an intense guy, very intense guy. Wants to win, wants to do it the right way. He doesn't want to mess around too much with the process, and you can respect that." Regardless of his relationship with his head coach, James' fantasy owners have to be happy with his top-5 play over the last two weeks. Rotoworld.com

  • Andrei Kirilenko still out of Nets rotation
Andre Kirilenko told reporters that he doesn't know what to do to get back in the Nets' rotation.

Advice: Kirilenko said he spoke with Nets' head coach Lionel Hollins about the situation and appreciated the coach's honesty, but is still disappointed. AK-47 has played just 27 minutes this season, so fantasy owners can feel free to move on from the 33-year-old. Rotoworld.com

Taj Gibson enjoyed life without Pau Gasol (calf) in Monday's road win over the Clippers, scoring 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting with five rebounds, six assists, one steal and two blocks in 41 minutes.

Advice: Yes, he would be quite good if Gasol (day-to-day) missed any extended time, but everybody knew that coming into the season. He still has standalone value and should be in many lineups on a weekly basis. Rotoworld.com

Nikola Mirotic was productive with Pau Gasol (calf) out on Monday, scoring 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting (including a three) with seven rebounds and two assists in 18 minutes.

  • Nerlens Noel still not hitting his stride
Nerlens Noel came off the bench again on Monday during a 100-75 loss to the Spurs, scoring four points with six boards, one steal and one block.

Advice: He's been underwhelming in his last three games off the bench, averaging 5.7 points, 6.3 boards, 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks on 31.8 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from the line. He should get better, so he can be considered as a buy-low option. Although, his upside is severely capped given his woeful shooting. Additionally, he should wind up in the starting lineup very soon. • Brandon Davies has another bad game
Brandon Davies did not score on Monday with four rebounds, four assists and one steal.

Tobias Harris scored 24 points on 10-of-17 shooting (including three treys) with five rebounds, four assists, five steals and one block in Monday's win over the Pistons.

Mason Plumlee had another game to forget on Monday, hitting just 1-of-5 shots (0-for-5 FTs) for two points, seven rebounds, two assists and a steal in 14 minutes.

  • LeBron says he was playing through the flu
LeBron James played through the flu in the Cavs' 106-97 home loss to the reeling Nuggets on Monday, scoring 22 points on 8-of-18 shooting with nine rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 41 minutes.

Advice: The flu is doubtful to hold him back going forward, especially with the Cavs under increased scrutiny with each passing loss. We're keeping him off the injury report. Rotoworld.com

  • Faried benched after leaked ESPN report
Kenneth Faried played just 22 minutes before being benched in Monday's road win over the Cavs, finishing with eight points on 4-of-6 shooting with one rebound, one steal and two blocks.

Advice: Ouch. ESPN reported earlier in the day that the front office wasn't thrilled with Faried and perhaps this was Brian Shaw flexing his muscles in coordination with that report. Of course, Shaw and the front office are circling the wagons after a suspect couple of years, and mounting pressure amidst their disastrous start. A win over the Cavs will certainly net them some currency, but in the long term it would be surprising if Faried is successfully scapegoated here. Rotoworld.com

Pau Gasol (calf) will not play against the Clippers on Monday.

Advice: He was listed as probable and is now the second Bull this season to be listed as probable and not play (Derrick Rose is the first). With Gasol out, Taj Gibson will get plenty of run and needs to be in 100 percent of lineups tonight. Gasol is hopeful to play against the Kings and sustained the injury on Saturday. Rotoworld.com

James Johnson (ankle) has a severe ankle sprain and has no timetable to return.

  • Rudy Gay (Achilles) is questionable for Tues.
Rudy Gay is questionable for Tuesday night against the Pelicans due to Achilles tendinitis.

Advice: He had some Achilles soreness last year and was able to play through it, so his fantasy owners shouldn't totally panic. • J.J. Hickson not playing on Monday night
J.J. Hickson will not play against the Cavs on Monday.

Advice: He is getting rest of the second night of a back-to-back set. Hickson's minutes are still capped right now and they're likely going to be for a while. He can be ignored in most leagues due to his woeful foul shooting. Rotoworld.com

  • LeBron James is good to go for Monday night
LeBron James (illness) will play against the Nuggets on Monday night.

Advice: He missed shootaround with a head cold, but he was expected to play the entire time. James is hot on offense with 31.6 points per game in his last five and is also getting to the line 9.6 times per game in that span, too. Get him in your lineup even though garbage time will likely be a factor tonight. Rotoworld.com

Thaddeus Young (personal) is still not with the Wolves as of Monday.

Advice: Coach Flip Saunders didn't mention when Young will be back or if he would play on Wednesday, but he said he should know more on Tuesday. • Omer Asik plans to play on Monday night
Omer Asik (back) is hoping to play against the Blazers on Monday.

Advice: He is listed as questionable for the 10:00 PM EST start time. Asik said his discomfort was worse following Sunday's practice. Asik doesn't have a history of back problems, so he might be a little closer to probable here. Still, his upside isn't great and he's only been the 116th-best player in standard leagues over the past two weeks, so his owners probably shouldn't use him at less than 100 percent. Rotoworld.com

James Johnson (ankle) is "tender" and did not participate in Monday's practice.

Advice: Johnson is holding out hope he can prepare in time for the game on Wednesday, but it's unlikely the Raptors will put him out there at less than full strength. The good news is Johnson's ankle injury doesn't appear to be a major concern, but Dwane Casey admitted he has no idea how long the enigmatic forward will be out. • Noel, MCW to come off bench again Monday
Nerlens Noel and Michael Carter-Williams will again come off the bench on Monday against the Spurs.

Advice: With both players coming off injury concerns (Noel-ankle, MCW-shoulder), the Sixers continue to keep their prized possessions in bubble wrap. Although neither is expected to be limited, having your two best players come off the bench is already limiting their ceiling to begin with. Regardless, both players should soon be back in the starting lineup. Rotoworld.com

  • Ed Davis impressive minus-5 in 236 minutes
Ed Davis is a minus-5 in 236 minutes this season, while starting power forward Carlos Boozer is a minus-118 in 277 minutes.

Advice: It's the latest illustration of Boozer's complete and utter ineptitude on the defensive end of the floor. The cries are growing louder for more Davis and less Boozer, and the veteran's offensive numbers are among the emptiest in the NBA. After Byron Scott threatened lineup changes, Boozer could be in line to lose his spot to Davis sooner rather than later. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Speights going to play a lot for Warriors
Steve Kerr said Marreese Speights is "going to play a lot" for the Warriors.

Advice: Speights has seized the backup center role and has run with it. "He's earned that backup role," Kerr said. Speights dropped 24 points and nine rebounds in just 20 minutes (8-of-11 shooting) against the Lakers on Sunday, and he's playing with extreme confidence under his new head coach. "He's my new favorite player, Mo Speights," Kerr added. Speights improved his work ethic during the offseason, and that work has translated to results for both Speights and the Warriors. • J.J. Hickson not a lock to play Monday night
J.J. Hickson may not play on Monday vs. the Cavs.

Advice: Hickson wound up having to play 12 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Knicks when Brian Shaw was trying to preserve him to play on Monday against the Cavs. Hickson, coming off an ACL tear, is still facing some restrictions with his playing time and is not supposed to play in back-to-back games. Marreese Speights blew up in Sunday's easy win vs. the Lakers, scoring 24 points on 8-of-11 FGs and 8-of-8 FTs with nine rebounds in just 20 minutes of action.

Advice: Speights tied his season high with 16 points in the first half alone, benefiting from the Lakers' utter lack of interior defense. He didn't have any assists, steals or blocks tonight, and is only worth a look if you need scoring and rebounding in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Kenneth Faried goes for 16-9 in Nuggets loss
Kenneth Faried scored 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting (2-of-5 from the line), to go with nine rebounds, two steals, two turnovers, and one assist during Sunday's loss.

Advice: Faried is currently averaging just 9.5 FGA per game, and he needs to start being more aggressive in Denver's offense. His numbers this season are down across-the-board as he’s averaging11.5 points and 7.8 rebounds over 26.4 minutes of action. However, after such an impressive summer he just has to eventually get things turned around, so owners may want to float out some buy-low offers for The Manimal. Rotoworld.com

  • Andrie Kirilenko picks up another DNP-CD
Andrei Kirilenko picked up yet another DNP-CD on Saturday, and has only managed to play 27 minutes this season.

Advice: It keeps getting worse for him, and he has simply fallen completely out of the rotation. The fact that Bojan Bogdanovic is getting minutes, let alone starting, speaks volumes about Kirilenko this season. Owners can ignore AK-47 in almost all leagues until further notice. Rotoworld.com

Marreese Speights gave the Warriors a huge lift off of the bench on Saturday, finishing with 13 points, six boards, two assists and a steal in just 15 minutes.

Advice: While these are fantastic numbers for such limited minutes, owners need to be aware of the fact that David Lee (hamstring) should be back very shortly. In the meantime, deep league owners can continue to roll the dice on Speights for short-term value, as he has been excellent under new coach Steve Kerr. Rotoworld.com

  • X-ray is negative on James Johnson (ankle)
X-rays were negative on James Johnson (ankle) but he was seen limping badly in the locker room with a walking boot on.

Advice: There is sure to be some controversy with this injury because he actually twisted his ankle when he stepped on a cameraman while diving for a loose ball. "We'll see how [it is] the next couple days," coach Casey said. "Good thing about it is we have a few days off before we play Memphis [on Wednesday] to get that ankle back to where it [needs to be]." Johnson has become a nice deep leagues asset for his ability to put up defensive stats, so we will update his status as needed. Nene (shoulder) played 27 minutes against the Magic on Saturday with 16 points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks.

He will finish Saturday's game with five points, four boards, two assists and one block in 14 minutes. Thaddeus Young (personal) is inactive for Saturday's game as he deals with the loss of his mom.

Advice: He is listed as out indefinitely, but we will update his status as soon as we know more and we wish him the best. David West (ankle) is inactive for Saturday's game against the Bulls.

Advice: This news isn't surprising and he was never expected to suit up for this one. Nene (shoulder) is expected to play on Saturday vs. the Magic according to coach Randy Wittman.

Advice: He made it through two full practices and it looks like his shoulder isn't giving him too many problems. Though he is injury-prone, owners should continue to deploy him as usual, but check back before tip-off for any updates on his status. Carlos Boozer scored 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting with eight rebounds and two steals in Friday's loss to the Spurs.

  • Noel plays 23 foul-plauged minutes vs. HOU
Nerlens Noel played 23 foul-plagued minutes on Friday against the Rockets, scoring eight points on 3-of-7 shooting with six rebounds, four turnovers and one block.

Advice: Noel's owners are probably pretty frustrated with his slow start and better days are certainly ahead. Not without risk, he's still a guy that owners should be targeting in trades while his value is at a floor. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Harris has struggled with his field goal percentage and turnovers so tonight's marks, including just two turnovers, were a welcome sight. If he can tighten everything up he has top-40 potential in 8-cat leagues and a mid-round valuation in 9-cat leagues. Rotoworld.com

Kenneth Faried scored 12 points with six rebounds and one steal in 24 minutes against the Pacers on Friday.

Faried's season has been a major letdown, averaging 11.4 points, 8.0 boards, 1.7 assists, 1.0 blocks and 0.3 steals. That's a big surprise considering his outstanding summer, so he's still a nice buy-low guy. Rotoworld.com

  • Nene (shoulder) will play Saturday vs. Magic
Nene (shoulder) has practiced in full for the past two days, and head coach Randy Wittman said that he will play Saturday.

Advice: Nene is averaging 11.4 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 1.7 steals on the season, so he can be viewed as a low-end option in standard leagues. The next injury is always right around the corner with Nene, but he's a serviceable while healthy. Rotoworld.com
