    • Nicolas Batum fuels Blazers win over Clips
Nicolas Batum hit a 3-pointer to force overtime and then threw three alley-oops and hit a dagger 3-pointer to win the game for the Blazers over the Clippers on Wednesday.

Advice: He finished with 20 points, seven rebounds, eight assists, a steal, two blocks and four 3-pointers on 6-of-11 shooting. Talk about efficiency. That makes four straight wins for the Blazers, and while Batum has been frustrating to own at times this season, lines like this one makes it easy to forget. Rotoworld.com

    • Dray Green fills stat sheet in slumpbuster
Draymond Green broke out of a funk with a monster line on Wednesday, racking up 23 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, three steals, three blocks and four 3-pointers on 9-of-14 shooting in a win over the Bucks.

Advice: While we've been the biggest supporters of Dray's run this season of anyone we've seen, even Rotoworld was a bit surprised by this line. Green had just three points on Monday, but is still averaging 14.6 points, 10.2 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 2.4 steals, 2.0 blocks and 1.8 3-pointers over his last five. Beast. Rotoworld.com

    • Ersan Ilyasova double-doubles for Bucks
Ersan Ilyasova had 13 points, 10 rebounds, a steal and three 3-pointers on 5-of-13 shooting in Wednesday's loss to the Warriors.

Advice: Dude has scored in double figures in six straight games and is averaging 14.8 points, 7.2 rebounds and 1.8 3-pointers on 46 percent shooting over his last five games, making him worth a flier in any league. Rotoworld.com

    • Jared Dudley starts, posts 'dud' in loss
Jared Dudley started at shooting guard on Wednesday, but hit just 1-of-5 shots for two points, four rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes.

Advice: He was relevant a month ago, but should no longer be owned in fantasy. Rotoworld.com

    • Kawhi Leonard hits 9-of-11 shots in win
Kawhi Leonard hit 9-of-11 shots and two 3-pointers for 21 points, five rebounds, one assist, three steals and a block in Wednesday's win.

Advice: Tonight was the night the all-cat freaks came out, as Leonard, Draymond Green and Nicolas Batum all played well, which hasn't happened consistently this season. Rotoworld.com

    • Derrick Williams scores 11 in 19 minutes
Derrick Williams came off the bench for 11 points, one rebound and one 3-pointer in 19 minutes on Wednesday.

Advice: This was a pretty useless fantasy line, but he is coming on, scoring in double figures in three straight games. The scoring is nice, but is only averaging 1.4 rebounds and 1.2 3-pointers over his last five games. Rotoworld.com

    • Dion Waiters scores 20 points with 10 boards
Dion Waiters scored 20 points with 10 rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer against the 76ers on Wednesday.

Advice: It's the first 20-10 game of his career. Waiters has looked awful since the break before tonight, making just 35.1 percent from the field in his previous seven games. It would appear Kevin Durant (foot) is getting closer to a return, which would hurt Waiters' chances to score. Rotoworld.com

    • Luc Mbah a Moute scores 18 points
Luc Mbah a Moute made 6-of-21 from the field for 18 points with 14 rebounds, five assists and one turnover in 40 minutes against the Thunder on Wednesday.

Advice: Apparently Russell Westbrook rubbed off on him. He set a career high in field goal attempts tonight and more than doubled his season average of 9.8. He won't play this much when Robert Covington (elbow) returns, but he's still worth a look in standard leagues while he's healthy. Rotoworld.com

    • J.R. Smith scores 15 with eight rebounds
J.R. Smith hit 6-of-12 shots for 15 points, eight rebounds, one steal, two blocks and three 3-pointers in Wednesday's win.

Advice: Smith is averaging 12.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.0 3-pointers over his last five games, but has shot just 39 percent over that stretch. Rotoworld.com

    • LeBron takes over after Valanciunas flagrant
LeBron James didn't take kindly to a flagrant tackle by Jonas Valanciunas late in the third quarter on Wednesday, and finished the win with 29 points, six rebounds, 14 assists and three 3-pointers on 9-of-16 shooting.

Advice: He scored 14 points in the fourth quarter and the 14 dimes matched his season high. The Cavs are all but a lock to finish as the No. 2 seed in the East, and an eventual Eastern Conference Finals matchup with the Hawks would be fun to watch. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

    • Jerami Grant plays well in loss
Jerami Grant played 28 minutes against the Thunder on Wednesday with 14 points, two rebounds, one assist, two blocks and two 3-pointers on 2-of-7 from the field and 8-of-10 from the line.

Advice: That's good for a 21.8 usage rate and he continues to earn minutes. Grant has been at 24 minutes or more in four of his last five, averaging 8.2 points, 3.2 boards, 2.0 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.0 blocks and 1.2 treys on 33.3 percent from the field in those five. His numbers will likely dip a bit upon Robert Covington's return. Grant is worth a look in 16-team leagues, though. Rotoworld.com

    • Jason Richardson scores 29 points in loss
Jason Richardson had his best game since 2012 during a loss to the Thunder on Wednesday with 29 points, six rebounds, three assists, one steal and four 3-pointers.

Advice: He hit two deep treys to help get this game to overtime. Richardson has been solid since his return and has put up numbers in each of his last four, averaging 16.8 points, 3.8 boards, 2.5 dimes, 1.0 steals and 3.3 treys. He's worth starting when he's active, but will be rested here and there. Rotoworld.com

    • Danilo Gallinari plays 32 minutes vs. Wolves
Danilo Gallinari played 32 minutes against the Wolves during a 100-85 win on Wednesday with 16 points, five rebounds, three assists, one steal and three 3-pointers.

Advice: He basically played the entire game and didn't check out until 1:15 left. Gallinari has his minutes limit lifted right now and he's been putting up good numbers over his last five, averaging 19.2 points, 5.0 boards, 1.0 steals and 3.2 treys. He should be owned in all standard leagues as long as he's healthy. Rotoworld.com

    • Lance Stephenson awful in win over Nets
Lance Stephenson hit just 2-of-5 shots for six points, three rebounds and one assist in 21 minutes on Wednesday.

Advice: He's completely fallen out of favor in Charlotte and Gerald Henderson and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist are helping to crush his confidence. He'll go down as one of the biggest busts of the season, in both fantasy and reality, although his team is actually playing well despite him. Rotoworld.com

    • Thaddeus Young starts second half, still duds
Thaddeus Young started the second half over SG Markel Brown on Wednesday, but still managed just eight points, three rebounds, three steals and a 3-pointer on 3-of-5 shooting in 24 minutes.

Advice: The Nets were waxed by the Hornets and maybe this was a wakeup call? Until they give in and start Brook Lopez and Young, it will be hard to take them seriously as a playoff contender in the East. Yet, that's exactly what they are, sitting just a game behind the Hornets for the final spot. Young has had a pretty disappointing season, but could make it up to his owners if he begins starting and playing well for the Nets, as the fantasy playoffs approach. Just continue to hang in there with him. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Martin has a rough return
Kevin Martin had a rough night in his return to the lineup on Wednesday with nine points, three rebounds, two assists and one 3-pointer on 3-of-15 from the field.

Advice: He had an airball in this game and it's fair to say he didn't have his legs under him tonight. Martin did play well in February, averaging 21.3 points, 4.3 boards 1.2 steals and 1.9 treys on 46.2 percent from the field. He is basically a must-start player while he's healthy. Rotoworld.com

    • Gerald Henderson stays hot with 19 points
Gerald Henderson had 19 points, two rebounds, two assists, a steal and a 3-pointer on 7-of-11 shooting on Wednesday.

Advice: The Hornets have quietly won three straight games and are currently in the playoffs, if the season ended today. Hendo has scored in double figures in five straight games and is averaging 16.2 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.8 steals and 1.4 3-pointers over his last five. Rotoworld.com

    • Marvin Williams plays well in start
Marvin Williams started over Cody Zeller on Wednesday and had 18 points, seven rebounds, a block and four 3-pointers in an easy win over the Nets.

Advice: The move was reportedly made for "matchup purposes" against the small Nets, but Williams played very well, hitting 5-of-8 shots. Zeller played just 16 minutes for 13 points and four rebounds, and regardless of the match ups going forward, it wouldn't be surprising to see Williams stick in the power forward spot. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden scores 18 with 13 dimes
James Harden returned from a one-game suspension against the Grizzlies on Wednesday during a 102-100 loss with 18 points, four rebounds, 13 assists, one steal, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 41 minutes.

Advice: Even with the sub-par scoring, he was still able to come up with his second-highest game for assists. Harden and the Rockets are suddenly on a two-game losing streak, but they'll get a Josh Smith revenge game against the Pistons on Friday. Harden is still in the running for MVP and is the top player in eight-category leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Evan Turner disappears in Wednesday's win
Evan Turner hit just 1-of-8 shots for two points, two rebounds, two assists and a steal in 25 minutes of Wednesday's win.

Advice: Turner didn't have his shot working tonight, but has been playing well for the Celtics. We're guessing he bounces back, but with Brad Stevens running the show, it's impossible to tell if this is a trend or a fluke. Rotoworld.com

    • Jared Dudley will start, Ilyasova off bench
Jared Dudley will start against the Warriors on Wednesday with Ersan Ilyasova coming off the bench.

Advice: Coach Jason Kidd said he likes Dudley's communication skills and he thinks the team needs that during this adjustment period. This isn't the first time Ilyasova gets bumped to the bench and it'll be interesting to see how he responds. Dudley can be left on the wire for now. Rotoworld.com

    • Robert Covington out, JaKarr Sampson starting
Robert Covington (elbow) will not play against the Thunder on Wednesday.

Advice: The team said he was hopeful to play today, but this isn't that surprising considering how often the 76ers sit guys down at less than 100 percent. Hopefully Covington will play over the weekend. He should be owned in all leagues. JaKarr Sampson will start, but can be left on the wire in almost all leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Marvin Williams starting, Zeller benched
Marvin Williams will start at power forward with Cody Zeller coming off the bench against the Nets on Wednesday.

Advice: It's a matchup-based move against a smaller Brooklyn lineup. Williams and Zeller will likely play a similar amount of minutes tonight, so there's no need to adjust projections or fantasy value. In his previous 17 starts, Williams averaged 6.7 points, 3.4 boards, 1.3 assists and 1.3 treys, which obviously isn't great. Plus, the Hornets might switch back to Zeller starting over the weekend. • Nikola Mirotic (left shoulder) is probable
Nikola Mirotic (left shoulder) is probable to play against the Thunder on Thursday.

Advice: He almost has to play given how thin the Bulls are and a probable tag basically means he's a near lock to play. The vast majority of his minutes came at power forward on Tuesday, but he did play some at small forward, which is encouraging for his outlook in the event Taj Gibson (ankle) returns before Jimmy Butler (elbow). Mirotic should be owned in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Doug McDermott will get another chance
Coach Tom Thibodeau said Doug McDermott will get another chance in the rotation.

Advice: Thibs praised McDermott's defense, following his scoreless game against the Wizards on Tuesday. McDermott missed all five shots from the field and only had one board. He should have minutes in the teens until Taj Gibson gets back, but may fall out of the rotation after that. Rotoworld.com

    • Jason Richardson will play vs. Thunder Wed.
Jason Richardson will play vs. the Thunder on Wednesday.

Advice: He was rested against the Raptors on Monday, but the 76ers are obviously going to be cautious with him moving forward given his injury history. Owners in deeper leagues who could use some help in scoring and 3-pointers should give him a look. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden will return vs. Grizzlies Wed.
James Harden will return from his one-game suspension vs. the Grizzlies on Wednesday, shifting Corey Brewer back to the bench.

Advice: The MVP candidate is boasting averages of 27.1 points, 6.9 assists, 5.8 boards, 1.9 steals, 0.8 blocks and 2.6 3-pointers per game this season, so plugging him back into active lineups will be the easiest thing his owners can possibly do today. On the other hand, Brewer will return to his normal role off the bench and can be dropped outside of deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Yesterday, 10:45 am
    • Tony Allen (suspension) will play vs. Rockets
Tony Allen will return from his one-game suspension vs. the Rockets on Wednesday.

Advice: He was suspended for Tuesday's game vs. the Jazz due to an altercation between him and Nick Calathes during practice, but he should resume his normal role off the bench against the Rockets. Allen has season averages of just 8.1 points, 4.0 boards, 1.4 assists and 1.9 steals, so he is only worth a look in deeper leagues for the time being. Rotoworld.com

    • Robert Covington (elbow) doubtful vs. Thunder
Robert Covington (elbow) is doubtful to play vs. the Thunder on Wednesday according to head coach Brett Brown.

Advice: Covington suffered the injury vs. the Pacers on Sunday and was held out of Monday's game vs. the Raptors, but it's disappointing to see him listed as doubtful despite dealing with a simple elbow contusion. JaKarr Sampson will draw the start if Covington can't go, but Hollis Thompson and Jerami Grant are slightly more appealing for owners in deeper leagues. We will continue to pass along any further updates on Covington's status. Rotoworld.com

Kevin Martin (illness) will play vs. the Nuggets on Wednesday.

Advice: Martin is reportedly feeling a lot better after sitting out vs. the Clippers on Monday, and his owners can safely plug him back into all lineups. Gary Neal, who started Monday's game against the Clippers, will shift back to the bench and can be dropped across the board. Rotoworld.com

    • Danny Granger could join the Suns soon
Danny Granger, who was recently acquired in a trade with Miami at the deadline, may finally join the Suns soon.

Advice: It's officially too late for him to join a contender if he were to be bought out by the Suns, so Granger has no choice but to suit up for the Suns if he wants to keep playing. That being said, Granger wouldn't be in the rotation upon his arrival in Phoenix, so owners can safely leave him on the waiver wire in almost all leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Henderson scores 21 points with five assists
Gerald Henderson scored 21 points on 8-of-15 shooting (including two threes) with two rebounds, five assists and three steals on Tuesday.

Advice: Henderson had slid a little bit last week and moved off of must-own status, but he has come roaring back this past week with early round value in his last four games. During that time he has averaged 15.5 points, 1.5 treys, 4.0 boards, 2.8 assists, 2.0 steals, 0.5 blocks and shot the ball very well. We can't guarantee this will continue and Kemba Walker's eventual return will hurt, but for now he should be owned in standard formats. Rotoworld.com

    • Ersan Ilyasova scores team-high 21 points
Ersan Ilyasova sank 9-of-15 shots including three 3-pointers vs. Denver, finishing Tuesday's loss with a team-high 21 points.

Advice: He added three boards, two assists, one steal and one block with only one turnover in 30 minutes of action, and has come to life since re-entering Jason Kidd's starting lineup. The Bucks have lost momentum since the All-Star break, however, and tonight marked their third consecutive defeat. They'll have a tough time snapping the skid during Wednesday's road game vs. the Warriors. Rotoworld.com

    • Jared Dudley (knee) struggles in return Tues
Jared Dudley (knee) finished Tuesday's loss in Denver with two points, five boards and one assist in 20 minutes off the bench.

Advice: He shot just 1-of-6 from the field and may not be 100 percent healthy. Standard-league owners can leave him on the waiver wire as long as he's playing 20-25 minutes behind Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton and Ersan Ilyasova. Rotoworld.com

    • Nuggets win in coach Melvin Hunt's debut
The Nuggets snapped their losing streak with a win vs. the Bucks on Tuesday, led by Danilo Gallinari's game-high 26 points, four 3-pointers, seven rebounds, one steal and one block.

Advice: Gallo's re-emergence is one of the best stories in recent weeks. Since the All-Star break he's averaging 17.0 points, 2.8 threes, 3.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals as a go-to scorer for the Nuggets, and he should be owned in all fantasy leagues despite his very real injury risk. Gallo even scored efficiently for once, hitting 8-of-16 field goals and 6-of-6 free throws in the much-needed home victory. Rotoworld.com

    • Nikola Mirotic stays hot w/ 23 pts, three 3s
Nikola Mirotic came off Chicago's bench for 23 points, three 3-pointers, eight rebounds and one block in 32 minutes vs. the Wizards on Tuesday.

Advice: Mirotic dropped 29 points on Sunday and is a must-own player while both Taj Gibson and Jimmy Butler are on the sidelines. This is the first time Chicago's rookie has scored 20+ points in consecutive games, but he has a good chance to keep the streak going with a 32-minute role vs. the Thunder on Thursday. Double-check that Mirotic isn't still available on your waiver wire. Rotoworld.com

    • Lance Stephenson benched for second half
Lance Stephenson didn't leave the Hornets bench in the second half on Tuesday, finishing with five points, three rebounds and two assists in just 10 minutes.

Advice: Born Ready has solid per-36-minute averages for rebounds (6.5) and assists (5.9), but that's where the good news ends. He has a morbid True Shooting of 40.3 percent and coach Steve Clifford opted to deploy Jeff Taylor ahead of him in the second half. Clifford explained the benching afterward by saying, "From here on out it's got to be sub-to-win." That line sums up Stephenson's lack of value for both the Hornets and fantasy owners. Rotoworld.com

    • Derrick Williams gets 17 points off SAC bench
Derrick Williams came off the bench for 17 points on 7-of-12 shooting on Tuesday, making three 3-pointers with three boards, two assists and one steal in 28 minutes.

Advice: Knicks' opponents are shooting a league-best 38.6 percent from downtown and it showed on Tuesday, as the Kings made a combined 10-of-18 triples in the easy road win. George Karl is still figuring out how to get "more consistent value" from Williams, but he also referred to him as "one of our more skilled players." Standard-league owners should keep a close eye on D-Will in case his role continues to grow during the Kings' final 24 games. Rotoworld.com

    • LeBron James passes Ray Allen on scoring list
LeBron James racked up 27 points, three rebounds, five assists, three steals and one block before taking a seat after 26 minutes of action on Tuesday.

Advice: He made 12-of-23 shots and only turned the ball over once, a rare treat from the player who ranks second in the NBA with 4.3 turnovers per game (trailing only DeMarcus Cousins). LeBron spent the past few days criticizing himself for missing eight free throws in Sunday's tough overtime loss, but it didn't take him long to put that defeat in the rearview mirror. He also passed Ray Allen on the all-time scoring list with this performance, giving him 24,507 points in his phenomenal 12-year career. Rotoworld.com

    • Tony Allen suspended for Tuesday vs. Utah
Tony Allen (suspension) will not play Tuesday vs. the Jazz.

Advice: Allen is being suspended for internal matters, but he will be back in the lineup for Wednesday's game against Houston. With Allen out, Jeff Green and Courtney Lee will get all the minutes they can handle, with Green offering the most upside. Rotoworld.com

    • Karl wants consistency from Derrick Williams
Kings' head coach George Karl said that he would like to get more consistency from Derrick Williams.

Advice: "Derrick is one of our more skilled players, and we’re trying to figure out how he fits with the team," Karl said. "I thought that he and Andre Miller had chemistry together [on Sunday]. As a coaching staff, we feel that we should try and get more out of him, and more consistent value." Williams was able to put up 18 points on Sunday, but was held to single digits in his previous three outings, including a zero-point performance vs. San Antonio. He's not worth owning in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Thad posts solid line in 25 minutes on Monday
Thaddeus Young scored 14 points on 5-of-9 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds, four assists and two steals in 25 minutes off the bench on Monday against the Warriors.

Advice: Young has leveled out with late mid-round value so far during his time in Brooklyn and that will probably improve by a round or two once he's fully integrated into their system. Rotoworld.com

    • Green plays on Monday against the Nets
Draymond Green played on Monday against the Nets despite words from Steve Kerr indicating he'd prefer to rest him, and finished with three points, 11 boards, four assists, two steals and one block.

Advice: Nothing to see here, folks. We'll let you know if we hear anything about rest and he should remain locked into lineups. Rotoworld.com

    • Jerami Grant plays 29 minutes, scores four
Jerami Grant scored just four points with two rebounds, four assists and one block in 27 minutes against the Raptors on Monday during a 114-103 loss.

Advice: The playing time was there, but Grant just couldn't hit any of his four open 3-pointers. He had a ton of highlights tonight: Grant stuffed Terrence Ross on a jam, had a sweet offensive board and follow slam, and had a couple very nice dimes. Just keep an eye on him for now. Robert Covington (elbow) could play Wednesday. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 7:42 pm
    • Kevin Martin, Nikola Pekovic out Monday
Kevin Martin (illness) and Nikola Pekovic (ankle) will not play against the Clippers on Monday.

Advice: The Wolves will start Gorgui Dieng and Gary Neal. Coach Flip Saunders said that the flus is going around and their assistant coach won't be at the arena. Martin still isn't a must-start player now that he has one game on the sidelines this week. Neal is also a risky play. We should get a lot of Andrew Wiggins. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 3:51 pm
    • James Harden suspended for Tuesday night
James Harden will be suspended for Tuesday's game against the Hawks for kicking LeBron James in the groin on Sunday.

Advice: We'll finally get to see just how valuable Harden really is. He's having one of the best seasons for stats in recent memory, so his fantasy owners should still start him with three games. With Harden out, there should be many more minutes for Corey Brewer and coach Kevin McHale may kick the tires on K.J. McDaniels. The violation is attached in the link below. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 3:38 pm
    • Kerr wants to play Draymond Green less Monday
Steve Kerr said he would like to get Draymond Green some rest after playing 44 minutes on Sunday, but added tonight's matchup probably won't allow it.

Advice: In other words, it looks like Green will play, but it might only be 30-33 minutes. To be clear it's all a guessing game right now, but owners in standard leagues should start Green as of right now. If you're in DFS, steering clear of Dray makes the most sense. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 3:15 pm
    • Jason Richardson out for Monday night
Jason Richardson (rest) will not play on Monday against the Raptors.

Advice: It is not a surprise at all on the second night of a back-to-back set. Richardson has actually played very well lately, scoring double figures in each of his last three. He's worth using in some leagues, but sitting out back-to-backs is a little too annoying for standard leagues. The last time J-Rich sat out, Hollis Thompson scored 22, and should get over 30 minutes tonight. Expect to see more of Jerami Grant on the wing, too. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 2:32 pm
    • Robert Covington, Jason Richardson out Monday
Robert Covington (elbow) and Jason Richardson (rest) will not play Monday against the Raptors.

Advice: The 76ers are going to start Isaiah Canaan, JaKarr Sampson, Luc Mbah a Moute, Nerlens Noel and Henry Sims in a bigger lineup. As for Covington, he has a shot to play Wednesday and his elbow injury doesn't sound severe. That said, his owners will probably want to bench him given how he hasn't played well. To be clear, he should be owned in all leagues. Jerami Grant and Hollis Thompson benefit more than Sampson does for most fantasy owners. Rotoworld.com

    • Jared Dudley ready to roll for Tuesday night
Jared Dudley (knee) will play against the Nuggets on Tuesday.

Advice: He missed Saturday due to some soreness in his knee cap and looks to be in the clear. Interestingly, every fantasy owner's favorite headache, Ersan Ilyasova, stepped up while Dudley was down, so that is the major fantasy implication here. While Dudley isn't worth owning, it'll be interesting to see what happens with Ghostface Ilya. Dudley isn't worth owning in most leagues while Ilyasova is worth a look -- add at your own risk of course. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden listed with a shoulder injury
James Harden is listed as probable for Tuesday against the Hawks with a shoulder injury.

Advice: For the past three months, the Rockets listing a guy as probable has been pretty much meaningless, so Harden should be good to go. He's putting up historic numbers this season and has been the a top-two player in fantasy for almost any format this season. Rotoworld.com

    • Nikola Mirotic is a must-add player
Nikola Mirotic is expected to play more for the Bulls with the injuries to Jimmy Butler (elbow) and Taj Gibson (ankle).

Advice: The entire season has been a wild ride for Mirotic. Whether or not coach Tom Thibodeau plays him at the three has been a tough subject to monitor. He played all of his minutes at small forward on Wednesday, but he only played two minutes at small forward in his last two games. Plus, don't forget the Bulls will also have to replace Jimmy's 21.6 usage rate along with his 38.9 minutes per game in the next 3-6 weeks while he's out. Regardless, MIrotic should be very attractive the next week or so without Taj Gibson. He should be owned in all leagues. Tony Snell's role is much, much clearer, which makes him the safer add right now. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Martin suddenly questionable w/ illness
Kevin Martin (illness) is questionable to play on Monday vs. the Clippers.

Advice: If Martin can't suit up, expect Andrew Wiggins to be at the epicenter of whatever Minnesota tries to do against Los Angeles. And if the veteran is sidelined, it's possible Gary Neal would slide into the starting lineup. Rotoworld.com

    • Morey: Rockets 'nowhere' without James Harden
Rockets GM Daryl Morey said the team would be "nowhere" without James Harden.

Advice: How's that taste, Dwight Howard? "We basically told the owner, ‘We should just give them everything. Like, literally, every possible thing that isn’t bolted down with the Rockets should be traded,’" Morey said. Harden is at the center of the MVP conversation and is arguably No. 1 on the totem pole depending on who you ask. The Harden trade was a franchise-altering move for Houston. Rotoworld.com

    • Danilo Gallinari leads Nuggets w/ 21 points
Danilo Gallinari led the Nuggets with 21 points on Sunday, making 7-of-18 FGs and 5-of-6 FTs with four rebounds and one block in 32 minutes.

Advice: Gallinari is one of the only positive stories in Denver this season, as he's rounding into form after an injury-plagued start to the season. He's scored double-digit points in six straight games and is averaging 2.8 triples during that span. Get him into your active lineups and hope that he can avoid the injury-bug in the coming weeks. • Dion Waiters struggles for short-handed OKC
Dion Waiters couldn't capitalize on the Thunder's injuries, finishing Sunday's road win with nine points on 4-of-13 shooting in 28 minutes off the bench.

Advice: He added three boards and three assists but missed all of his 3-point attempts, and sluggish offensive is dooming him to fantasy irrelevance. Waiters is shooting 35.7 percent over the past five games and history suggests he won't improve much in the season's final weeks. Rotoworld.com

    • Luc Mbah a Moute struggles in 20-point defeat
Luc Mbah a Moute scored four points on 2-of-7 shooting during 23 minutes of action on Sunday, as the Sixers lost by 20 points in Indiana.

Advice: He added three rebounds and turned the ball over four times in a thoroughly disappointing performance, especially after his stat-stuffing game on Friday. With erratic production and consistently poor FG and FT percentages, there isn't much incentive to own Mbah a Moute outside of deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Derrick Williams scores 18 points in loss
Derrick Williams matched his season-high with 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting against the Blazers on Sunday, adding one rebound in 23 minutes.

Advice: His role has been erratic at best under head coach George Karl, and he has averaged just 16.4 minutes per game since coach Karl took over. Until Williams earns a bigger role in Sacramento, he is going to be tough to own outside of the deepest of leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Sunday, 6:24 pm
    • Nicolas Batum struggles again on Sunday
Nicolas Batum shot just 1-of-6 from the field and 0-of-4 from deep on Sunday vs. the Kings, finishing with just two points, five assists, four boards and one steal in 31 minutes.

Advice: This was a pretty brutal game for Batum, but he has been much better since the All-Star break, averaging 10.2 points, 5.4 boards, 5.0 assists, 0.8 blocks, 1.4 steals and 1.6 3-pointers over his last five games. Batum's owners may never forgive him after his horrific start to the season, but at least he is starting to turn things around. Rotoworld.com

    • Evan Turner flirts w/ triple-double vs. GSW
Evan Turner compiled 10 points, nine rebounds and six assists vs. Golden State on Sunday, adding one steal without any 3-pointers or blocks.

Advice: This is typical production from Turner, whose fantasy value is undermined by poor shooting percentages and a lack of supporting stats. He shot 4-of-12 from the field tonight but this was still a terrific performance, especially since he played a mere 28 minutes. Rotoworld.com
      Sunday, 5:33 pm
    • Draymond Green posts 14 & 11 w/ extras Sunday
Draymond Green pitched in 14 points, two 3-pointers, 11 rebounds, four assists and three blocks with only one turnover during Sunday's thrilling road win in Boston.

Advice: Green made only 4-of-13 shots but he filled it up everywhere else and his versatility once again proved crucial for the Warriors, as he started at center for stretches to neutralize the Celtics' small lineups. He's a top-30 player over the past month and vaults into the top-20 with turnovers counted in 9-cat leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Robert Covington (elbow) will not return Sun.
Robert Covington suffered a right elbow contusion during Sunday's game vs. the Pacers and he will not return.

Advice: Luckily, the injury doesn't sound serious and we will consider Covington questionable to play against the Raptors on Monday. If Covington is forced to miss any additional time, more minutes will be available for players such as Hollis Thompson and Jerami Grant. Covington finished Sunday's game with 12 points, three boards and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes. Rotoworld.com

    • LeBron James scores 37 points despite FT woes
LeBron James racked up 37 points, four 3-pointers, eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and three blocks on Sunday, but he shot 15-of-35 from the field and 3-of-11 at the free throw line in an overtime loss.

Advice: LeBron became the first player since Truck Robinson in 1978 to score 37+ points while shooting under 30.0 percent on 10 or more free throw attempts. He was in disbelief after numerous misses in the clutch and took responsibility for the loss afterward, though fantasy owners will assuredly forgive the flaws in this statistical bonanza. • James Harden drops 33 points in win over CLE
James Harden kept up his torrid pace during Sunday's thrilling overtime win over the Cavs, notching 33 points (8-of-18 from the field, 15-of-18 from the line), eight rebounds, five assists, three steals, two blocks and five turnovers.

Advice: This was Harden's NBA-leading 26th game with more than 30 points, and this performance will certainly help his case for MVP-honors. Harden also logged 42 minutes tonight, which would suggest that his ankle injury is no longer an issue. He's averaging 22.6 points, 8.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.6 three-pointers, since the All-Star break, while shooting 84.2 percent from the charity stripe on 11.4 attempts per game. Simply put, he’s a beast. Rotoworld.com

    • Nikola Mirotic scores career-high 29 points
Nikola Mirotic was fantastic on Sunday, scoring a career-high 29 points on 11-of-23 shooting, to go with nine rebounds, two 3-pointers, one block, and two turnovers through 31 minutes of action.

Advice: Taj Gibson (ankle) was seen leaving the arena in a walking boot, so it looks like Mirotic is going to get some additional time to produce for Chicago with Derrick Rose (knee) out, and Jimmy Butler's (elbow) status up in the air for Tuesday. What makes Mirotic's line even more impressive is that he was the only Bull to score a field goal during the entire fourth quarter, and he's well worth a look in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • LeBron James starting, James Jones benched
LeBron James will return to the starting lineup for Sunday's game vs. the Rockets, sending James Jones back to the bench.

Advice: This is just a reminder to make sure you have James in your active lineups. James Jones’ return to the bench will render him a non-option, and he can be sent back to the wire in nearly all formats. Rotoworld.com
      Sunday, 12:38 pm
    • LeBron James (back) expected to play Sunday
LeBron James (back) is expected to play against the Rockets on Sunday.

Advice: He was held out of Friday's game vs. the Pacers for precautionary reasons, but the Cavaliers are going to need him against the formidable Rockets. Kyrie Irving has already been ruled out due to a shoulder strain, so James and Kevin Love are going to be busy Sunday. It's safe to activate James in all lineups. Rotoworld.com

    • Kawhi Leonard explodes against the Suns
Kawhi Leonard dominated on offense during a 101-74 win over the Suns on Saturday with 22 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and two blocks.

Advice: After a very rough start to the second half, Leonard is back. He was taking too many jumpers and he's gone back to being more aggressive. Kawhi had a nice line of 17 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal on Friday, so his fantasy owners can finally start to feel great about him. We're expecting a big finish thanks to a friendly schedule. Rotoworld.com
      Saturday, 8:44 pm
    • Thaddeus Young scores 16 points off bench
Thaddeus Young scored 16 points against the Mavs on Saturday with eight rebounds, one assist, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: The Nets played five road games with Thad and went 3-2, which isn't too shabby considering they lost to the Rockets in one of those. Young's averages in that span include 13.4 points, 4.8 boards 0.6 steals, 0.4 blocks and 0.8 treys on 59.0 percent from the field. He's a hold in standard leagues and could see a slight uptick. Saturday, 8:21 pm
    • Tony Allen scores 11 off the bench
Tony Allen scored 11 points against the Wolves on Saturday with two rebounds, one assist, two steals and one turnover against.

Advice: Coach Dave Joerger said he could be looking to make a tweak to the starters on the wing, which means Allen would likely move into the first unit. However, his minutes and opportunities to score probably won't change much. Allen has been outside of the top 200 in the past month, so he's not worth owning right now. Rotoworld.com
      Saturday, 7:51 pm
    • Jared Dudley (knee) out for Saturday
Jared Dudley (knee) will not play against the Jazz on Saturday.

Advice: X-rays were negative on his kneecap and he appears to be day-to-day. However, it's tough to gauge how much time he is going to miss because Dudley did have an issue with his kneecap last year. He can be dropped in most leagues. Ersan Ilyasova and Jerryd Bayless likely get most of Dudley's minutes. Ilyasova is worth a look in standard leagues and we'll let you know how he does tonight. Rotoworld.com
      Saturday, 4:45 pm
    • Ilyasova drops 17 and 12 onto the Lakers
Ersan Ilyasova scored 17 points on 5-of-10 shooting (1-of-4 3PTs, 6-of-8 FTs) with 12 rebounds and one steal in Friday's loss to the Lakers.

Advice: Ilyasova has been a top 70-100 value (9/8 cat) in his last four games, a sample that has more or less been his ceiling this season. Perhaps he's ready to turn over a new leaf, but realistically he can't be considered more than a flier pickup until he shows us a bit more. Rotoworld.com
      Saturday, 1:42 am
    • Gallinari scores 13 points in loss
Danilo Gallinari scored 13 points on 5-of-15 shooting (including two threes) with two rebounds, one assist and two steals in Friday's blowout loss to the Jazz.

Advice: Gallo has been running pretty hot and this game shouldn't reverse any of that momentum. He should be owned in most standard formats. Rotoworld.com
      Saturday, 1:10 am
    • Thad plays just 16 minutes on Friday
Thaddeus Young played just 16 minutes off the bench on Friday, scoring nine points on 4-of-7 shooting (including a three) with two rebounds and no other stats.

Advice: Odd. Young had been trending upward nicely before tonight's setback, and it should be worth noting that Lionel Hollins has been yanking guys around this year. Owners shouldn't do anything crazy like drop him, but we'll certainly be tracking this. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 11:59 pm
    • Mirotic plays 19 minutes despite Taj's injury
Nikola Mirotic played just 19 minutes despite Taj Gibson (ankle) playing just nine minutes in Friday's game, finishing with eight points on 2-of-9 shooting, four rebounds, three assists and a block.

Advice: Mirotic had a nice line on Monday with Gibson out due to an illness, but tonight showed how Tom Thibodeau doesn't fully trust him yet. Mike Dunleavy and Tony Snell got the bulk of the extra minutes tonight, but if Gibson misses any time then Mirotic's explosive fantasy game might see the light, regardless. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 11:18 pm
    • Jared Dudley needed an X-ray on knee
Jared Dudley needed an X-ray on his knee following Friday's game.

Advice: He said he is dealing with some problems with his kneecap, which bothered him last season. Dudley hasn't played well lately and has clearly been passed by Khris Middleton. If he's out, more minutes will go to Ersan Ilyasova and Jerryd Bayless. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 10:54 pm
    • Turner posts a dud in win over Hornets
Evan Turner managed just two points on 1-of-5 shooting with six rebounds and seven assists in 30 minutes on Friday.

Advice: Turner didn't have a three, steal or block per usual, and he's the guy whose minutes are likely to take a hit with others excelling. Outside of strict points leagues he hasn't been worth much, and owners can find something better on the wire in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 10:33 pm
    • Draymond Green turns in monster stat line
Draymond Green was everywhere against the Raptors in 28 minutes during a 113-89 win on Friday with 17 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two steals, three blocks and three 3-pointers.

Advice: He made 6-of-9 from the field, hit both free throws and didn't turn the ball over for a nine-category line. Green is putting up elite value on the season, averaging 11.2 points, 8.1 boards 3.6 assists, 1.6 steals, 1.4 blocks and 1.3 treys. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 10:29 pm
    • Henderson holds on with solid night
Gerald Henderson scored 14 points on 6-of-12 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block on Friday.

Advice: Henderson has been a borderline value in 12-team standard leagues for the last week or so and one has to wonder how his numbers will hold up with Mo Williams around. If you want to ride him while he's moderately productive go for it, but there's not enough upside to call him a must-own player. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 9:46 pm
    • J.R. Smith scores 21 points in a loss
J.R. Smith scored 21 points with four assists, one block and four 3-pointers in 31 minutes against the Pacers on Friday.

Advice: He had more chances to score with LeBron James (back) and Kyrie Irving (shoulder) out tonight. LeBron won't be out long, but Smith's previous averages with the Cavs are solid at 12.3 points, 3.0 boards, 2.7 assists, 1.8 steals and 2.5 treys. He's worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 8:22 pm
    • Jason Richardson scores 12 points
Jason Richardson scored 12 points in 26 minutes during an 89-81 win over the Wizards on Friday with two rebounds, five assists and four 3-pointers.

Advice: He is putting up some nice numbers right now with a 16-point, four-trey game on Wednesday. Richardson is going to have to rest on occasion, but he should have a chance to put up top-100 value the nights he plays because of his output from beyond the arc. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 8:09 pm
    • Robert Covington cores 13 with two treys
Robert Covington didn't play well against the Wizards on Friday with 13 points, six boards and two 3-pointers in 26 minutes.

Advice: He wasn't benched this time and his minutes should increase a little more than this. Covington was benched on Wednesday due to poor defense, but he wasn't too bad in that department tonight. In his previous February games, he averaged 16.3 points, 5.7 boards, 1.8 assists, 2.4 steals and 3.0 treys. He's a must-start player. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden (ankle) will start Friday vs. BK
Updating a previous report, James Harden (ankle) will be in the starting lineup for Friday's game vs. the Nets.

Advice: Head coach Kevin McHale said that he has no plan to limit Harden's minutes, but he will keep an eye on his ankle and make adjustments if he’s in any noticeable pain. Harden has been an absolute beast this season, leading the league in scoring with 27.2 points per game while chipping in 5.8 rebounds, 6.9 assists, 1.9 steals, and 2.7 three-pointers. Get him active for tonight's favorable matchup against the Nets. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 4:08 pm
    • James Harden (ankle) likely to play Friday
Rockets' head coach Kevin McHale believes that James Harden (ankle) will suit up for Friday's game vs. the Nets.

Advice: Harden is already a must-start guy every time he's in uniform, and with a very favorable matchup against the Nets, he's someone to strongly consider in daily leagues. He will be without a minutes restriction, and had a 30-point outing with a full line during his last matchup against Brooklyn, so make sure you have him on your active roster. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 3:21 pm
    • LeBron James (back) out for Friday night
LeBron James (back) will not play against the Pacers on Friday night.

Advice: "Just forward thinking on my part," coach David Blatt said. In other words, it sounds like a maintenance day. LeBron did have some back problems against the Warriors on Thursday and he was also on the injury report back in January because of it. He has been absolutely magnificent since the break, posting a 38.3 usage rate with a 59.6 true shooting percentage. With LeBron and Kyrie Irving out, Kevin Love should have a lot on his plate. J.R. Smith is also going to have a greener light than usual. Shawn Marion will likely start, but he's not a great fantasy option. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 2:40 pm
    • 76ers going with the same starting five
Coach Brett Brown he will start the same starting five for Friday against the Wizards.

Advice: That means it'll be Isaiah Canaan, Jason Richardson, Robert Covington, Luc Mbah a Moute and Nerlens Noel. Covington was benched on Wednesday for poor defense, but he should be back to his old role. Start him. It'll be interesting to see where Jerami Grant fits in after playing 33 minutes. We can probably expect him to log 24-28 minutes tonight. We might see a little more out of Thomas Robinson now that he has shaken hands with Brown. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden (ankle) goes through shootaround
James Harden (ankle) was able to go through shootaround, but he remains questionable for Friday's game vs. the Nets.

Advice: We'll continue to monitor this situation closely, but if he's unable to go, Corey Brewer would likely slide into the starting lineup with Pablo Prigioni and K.J. McDaniels having the opportunity for extended minutes. As for the offense, Trevor Ariza, Josh Smith, Terrence Jones, and Donatas Motiejunas would all be asked to step up, and each of those guys would serve as quality plug-and-play options in daily leagues. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

    • Dion Waiters scores 16 points against Suns
Dion Waiters scored 16 points on 6-of-12 shooting on Thursday vs. the Suns, adding two steals and three 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Advice: He has now scored in double digits in each of his last four games, and he hasn't been shy about hoisting up shots either, averaging 15 shots per game over that span. That being said, Waiters still doesn't do enough outside of scoring to be considered in standard leagues, and the eventual return of Kevin Durant (foot) will hurt his value. Leave Waiters on the wire. Rotoworld.com

    • Draymond Green has five steals in loss Thurs.
Draymond Green recorded five steals in Thursday's loss to the Cavaliers, finishing with 16 points, eight boards and four assists in 38 minutes.

Advice: The five steals were one off his career-high of six which was set against the Wolves on Dec. 27, but this was actually just the fifth game this season in which he didn't record either a block or steal. Green has emerged as a fantasy stud for arguably the best team in the NBA, and he is going to be one of the most fun players to own for years to come. Rotoworld.com
      Thursday, 9:45 pm
    • J.R. Smith scores just four points on Thurs.
J.R. Smith was held to just four points for the second straight game on Thursday vs. the Warriors, shooting just 1-of-5 from the floor and missing both of his 3-point attempts.

Advice: He saved his line with four rebounds, five assists and four steals, but this has been the story of Smith's career so far. He is one of the streakiest players in the NBA, and his owners will simply have to take the good with the bad. Smith is still worth owing in most leagues, especially now that Kyrie Irving could miss some time with a shoulder issue. Rotoworld.com

    • Cavs beat Warriors, LeBron drops 42 points
LeBron James scored a season-high 42 points in a 110-99 win over the Warriors on Thursday despite briefly leaving the game with a tweaked back.

Advice: He added 11 rebounds, five assists, three steals, one block and four 3-pointers in 36 minutes, and it didn't look like his back caused him any problems after he returned to the game. Incredibly, this was James' 41st career game with 40 points, five assists and five rebounds which is the fourth-most in NBA history behind Wilt Chamberlain (61), Michael Jordan (62) and Oscar Robertson (71). The MVP race between James Harden, Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook and LeBron is going to go right down to the wire. Rotoworld.com

    • LeBron James tweaks his back, returns to game
LeBron James (back) briefly left Thursday's game against the Warriors but has since returned.

Advice: He was wearing a wrap on his back when he left for the locker room but he didn't appear to be limited in any way when he returned to the floor. We will continue to monitor his status closely, but it appears that he has dodged a bullet here and his owners can breathe easy. For what it's worth, James has 24 points heading into halftime. • Poor defense led to Covington's benching Wed.
76ers' head coach Brett Brown said that Robert Covington's lackluster play on the defensive end was the reason he elected to bench him for the second and third quarter of Wednesday's loss to the Bucks.

Advice: "The luxury that I have now that we kind of have bodies is you don’t feel a prisoner to somebody like Robert," said Brown. "We’ve got [Jason Richardson] and Hollis Thompson, so there are more options there. That’s not scolding [Covington], it’s just the way the landscape works. It’s a pecking order that’s built on the standards we have defensively." While Covington sat out a large chunk of Wednesday's game, he still put up 13 points with a full line, and hopefully this doesn't become a common occurrence. Rotoworld.com

    • Nicolas Batum says he feels refreshed
Nicolas Batum said he feels refreshed and ready for the second half of the season after spending six days in Mexico.

Advice: Batum has been mired in a season-long slump, but said six days of vacation on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico over the All-Star Break helped him hit the rest button. "I needed that," Batum said. "Just to refresh my mind. Just to go away from the stress. Just get away." Batum has has strong back-to-back performances and has averaged 16.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.0 blocks, and 3.0 three-pointers in those two games. If he can keep this up, he'll go a long way toward redeeming himself with fantasy owners who spent a top-35 pick on him. Rotoworld.com

    • James Harden questionable for Friday vs Nets
James Harden (ankle) did not practice on Thursday, and is questionable for Friday against the Nets.

Advice: With Dwight Howard (knee) already out and Patrick Beverley (illness) also questionable, missing Harden on Friday would be a big blow to the Rockets. We'll update his status as soon as possible, but some combination of Trevor Ariza, Josh Smith, Jason Terry, and Beverley (if he plays) would have to pick up the slack for Harden if he has to sit out on Friday. • Nicolas Batum plays well in win over Spurs
Nicolas Batum hit 6-of-8 shots for 15 points, four rebounds, nine assists, two steals, a block and three 3-pointers in Wednesday's win over the Spurs.

Advice: Yes, that's the guy you thought you were drafting early last October, and it's nice that he's finally starting to show up. He's averaging 16 points, 7.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.0 blocks and 3.0 3-pointers over his last two games. Hopefully he's ready to keep the train rolling, just in time for the fantasy playoffs. Rotoworld.com

    • K. Leonard plays well, at least in fantasy
Kawhi Leonard hit 5-of-13 shots for 14 points, eight rebounds, three assists, four steals, a block and a 3-pointer on Wednesday, but the Spurs lost their fourth straight game, this time to the Blazers.

Advice: He was a team-high -13 +/- tonight, and had also been struggling for his fantasy owners, mainly due to poor shooting and some confidence issues. There wasn't much wrong with tonight's line, and you have to think he's on the verge of righting the ship soon. This was at least a step in the right direction. Tim Duncan added 20 points and eight boards in another Spurs loss, and they're just four games ahead of streaking New Orleans in the playoff chase. Rotoworld.com

    • Danilo Gallinari plays 34 minutes
Danilo Gallinari played 34 minutes against the Suns on Wednesday during a 110-96 loss with 20 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and five 3-pointers.

Advice: The Nuggets are losing forwards all over the place and they're going to lose another one if they play Gallo this much. That said, this is his second consecutive 20-point game and he's taking a ton of shots with at least 11 in each of his last four. Gallinari is worth grabbing in standard leagues and his owners can just worry about an injury if/when it happens. Rotoworld.com

    • Thaddeus Young still coming off pine for Nets
Thaddeus Young once again came off the bench for the Nets, but still managed 19 points, five rebounds and a 3-pointer on 8-of-12 shooting.

Advice: Maybe the Nets will put him in the starting lineup at some point soon, but even if they don't, Young should continue to improve as he learns how to play with his new teammates. Rotoworld.com

    • Kevin Martin still hot, scores 28 in win
Kevin Martin kept it rolling on Wednesday, hitting 10-of-15 shots and two 3-pointers for 28 points and two steals in an easy win over the Wizards.

Advice: He's on fire and has scored 21 or more points in six straight games. If you stuck with him through the wrist debacle, he's paying off down the stretch. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 9:15 pm
    • Ersan Ilyasova plays 23 minutes on Wed
Ersan Ilyasova played 23 minutes against the 76ers on Wednesday with 11 points, six rebounds, one assists and one 3-pointer.

Advice: After playing 35 minutes on Monday, his value actually didn't fall off a cliff today. Coach Jason Kidd seems to be gaining confidence in Ilyasova, but he's missed a lot of games and has basically been in a slump for two seasons. Fantasy owners in FAAB leagues will need to have bulletproof wallets to pay up for Ghostface Ilya. Rotoworld.com

    • Evan Turner triple-doubles in win
Evan Turner hit 5-of-9 shots for 10 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in 34 minutes in another start on Wednesday.

Advice: Turner is never going to blow you away with his ability to shoot or score, and is hitting just 34 percent of his shots over his last five games, to go along with 10.2 points. But when you consider he's also averaging 7.6 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 1.4 steals over that stretch, owners have learned to live with the parts of his game that stink. Rotoworld.com

    • Robert Covington plays well after benching
Robert Covington was benched for most of the first three quarters and did play the entire fourth quarter, finishing with 13 points, three rebounds, one assist, one steal and three 3-pointers.

Advice: He wasn't in his usual spot on the bench for much of this game and it's unclear what exactly happened with him. However, Covington really played well down the stretch and he's very unlikely to be in jeopardy of losing his playing time. He should be considered as a top-50 player in standard leagues, especially after posting second-round value this month. Rotoworld.com

    • Jerami Grant plays career-high 33 minutes
Jerami Grant played a career-high 33 minutes against the Bucks on Wednesday with 10 points, two rebounds, two blocks, two steals, two 3-pointers and a career-high four assists.

Advice: He started the second half for Robert Covington, but this is unlikely to stick with Covington likely just benched for this game. Grant is making a charge for minutes and he would have played a lot more on Sunday had he not suffered a back injury. He is capable of filling it up in several categories, averaging 1.0 blocks, 0.7 treys and 0.6 steals in just 18.7 minutes per game this season. He's worth a look in 14-team leagues, especially for points leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 8:02 pm
    • Jason Richardson scores 16 in start
Jason Richardson played well against the Bucks on Wednesday with 16 points, four rebounds, two assists, one steal and four 3-pointers in 25 minutes.

Advice: He rested on Monday and picked up season highs in points, minutes and treys. Richardson is playing OK so far this year, averaging 7.0 points, 6.0 boards, 1.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 treys in his previous two games. He's still going to be a risky player to own because he'll rest in several games this season. Rotoworld.com

    • Jerami Grant starts second half for Covington
Jerami Grant started the second half for Robert Covington on Wednesday.

Advice: There is no word of an injury and it looks like Covington has been benched for poor play. We'll look for an update following the game or perhaps before that time. Covington should be fine for the weekend. Rotoworld.com

    • Jason Richardson (knee) starting vs. Wolves
Jason Richardson (knee) will return to the Sixers' starting lineup on Wednesday.

Advice: J-Rich sat out Monday's game as a precaution in the second half of a back-to-back set, something which may be a trend through the final weeks of the season. Richardson will have his hands full chasing Kevin Martin around the court tonight, and he's only worth a glance from deep-league owners seeking 3-pointers. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 5:09 pm
    • Jerami Grant (back) expected to play on Wed
Jerami Grant (back) is expected to play against the Bucks on Wednesday.

Advice: He will go through warmups and the team will hopefully update his status. Grant would likely benefit from K.J. McDaniels being shipped to Houston and he could consistently get minutes in the mid 20s. He doesn't shoot the ball well enough to be a factor in standard leagues, but he is an interesting guy in DFS with his cheap price. Rotoworld.com

    • Dion Waiters w/ 14 points on 18 shot attempts
Dion Waiters needed 18 shots to score 14 points during Tuesday's win vs. the Pacers, though four of his five makes came from beyond the arc.

Advice: He shot 0-of-7 from within 16 feet of the basket, which is an extreme example of Waiters' season-long inefficiency. He's shooting just 50.3 percent in the restricted area, 36.4 percent in the paint, and his True Shooting of 45.5 percent leaves much to be desired. There's no reason to touch him outside of the deepest fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • LeBron James passes Pippen in career assists
LeBron James led the Cavs to a win in Detroit on Tuesday with 19 points, seven rebounds, 11 assists, three steals and one block, but he also turned the ball over nine times.

Advice: The high turnovers are a forgivable footnote for LeBron, who also passed Scottie Pippen for the most assists by a forward in NBA history with 6,142 for his career. He's just 30 years old and Pippen's former record will be a speck in the rearview mirror by the time LBJ hangs up his sneakers. Rotoworld.com

    • J.R. Smith cools off, Cavs still beat Pistons
J.R. Smith had a quiet night vs. the Pistons, shooting just 1-of-4 with a pair of free throws to finish with four points, two rebounds, two assists and three steals.

Advice: Smith was in some foul trouble and he only played 22 minutes, his fewest since joining the Cavs on Jan. 6. He's been a steady top-60 value over the past two months and fantasy owners should shrug off tonight's relative dud. Cleveland has now won 17 of their past 19 games and their early-season angst has evaporated ever since GM David Griffin traded for Smith, Iman Shumpert and Timofey Mozgov. Rotoworld.com

    • Turner holding onto his role with IT in town
Evan Turner logged 32 minutes on Monday against the Suns, scoring 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting (including a three) with eight rebounds, four assists and one steal.

Advice: By now you know the story with Turner, whose value is depressed in standard leagues due to poor efficiency and bad peripherals. So far the arrival of Isaiah Thomas hasn't hit him yet, but Turner didn't look all that great tonight and there's really no need for him to facilitate the offense with Thomas around. He's really only worth owning in points leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 9:41 pm
    • Thaddeus Young scores an efficient 15
Thaddeus Young scored 15 points on 6-of-11 from the field during a 110-82 win over the Nuggets on Monday, adding five rebounds, one assist, two steals, one block and one 3-pointer in 24 minutes.

Advice: He only played 12 minutes in his Brooklyn debut on Friday and doubled his playing time tonight. Young is logging most of his playing time at power forward, but he does have a handful of minutes at small forward, which helps his upside. Considering the Nets have gone with such small lineups, Thad could start soon. He should be owned in all standard leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 9:30 pm
    • Danilo Gallinari plays 30 minutes on Monday
Danilo Gallinari played 30 minutes against the Nets during a 110-82 loss on Monday, scoring a game-high 22 points with two rebounds, one assist, two steals and three 3-pointers.

Advice: It was his third start in a row and his numbers look pretty good in that span, averaging 16.0 points, 3.0 boards, 1.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.7 treys on 42.9 percent from the field. He is one of the most injury-prone players in the NBA, but at least the production is starting to show up. He is worth a look in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 9:11 pm
    • Nikola Mirotic drops 16 & 14 on the Bucks
Nikola Mirotic scored 16 points on 4-of-11 shooting (2-of-6 from deep, 6-of-8 from the line) with a career-high 14 rebounds, one steal and two blocks in 31 minutes off the bench.

Advice: Mirotic got the extra run because Taj Gibson (illness) was out and it's a reminder that he'll be a very nice fantasy player if ever given consistent minutes. For now, he's a gambler's stash at best. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 8:36 pm
    • Ilyasova with 15 & 11 and a full stat line
Ersan Ilyasova started in Monday's loss to the Bulls, scoring 15 points on 6-of-16 shooting with 11 rebounds, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

Advice: This is a patented Ilyasova explosion and the operative question is always whether or not he can do it again. He is the definition of a risk-reward pickup. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 8:06 pm
    • Luc Mbah a Moute plays 30 minutes
Luc Mbah a Moute returned to action on Monday with seven points, five rebounds, two assists, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He missed Sunday for personal reasons and was right back to his normal playing time. Besides that DNP, Mbah a Moute hasn't missed a game due to injury since Jan. 21. He has respectable averages in his previous February games, averaging 12.8 points, 7.3 boards, 2.0 assists, 0.5 steals and 1.5 treys. He's worth a look in competitive standard leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 7:41 pm
    • Dudley goes scoreless on Monday vs. Bulls
Jared Dudley was demoted to a bench role on Monday and missed all four of his shot attempts, finishing with no points as the Bulls had no mercy on his soul.

Advice: Dudley managed two steals, one board and one assist and he has been slowly trending down over the past week. After a night like this, owners have to be thinking about a drop and if there's any slightly better than average free agent it's an easy call. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 7:40 pm
    • Covington steals five, scores 16
Robert Covington scored 16 points with four rebounds, two assists, five steals and three 3-pointers in 34 minutes against the Heat on Monday.

Advice: He had all five steals in the first quarter and he has stepped up in the steals department as a shooting guard, stealing six in his first start at shooting guard this season. Covington has at least three treys in five of his last six games and has 3.0 per game in February. He's a must-start player in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Ersan Ilyasova to start, Jared Dudley benched
Ersan Ilyasova will start at power forward against the Bulls on Monday and Jared Dudley will come off the bench.

Advice: Chances are this is a matchup-based move for the Bucks. Ilyasova has not played more more than 18 minutes in any game this month and averaged only 5.2 points, 1.8 boards and 0.2 blocks in that span. He can be left on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 3:39 pm
    • Jerami Grant (back) out, Mbah a Moute in
Jerami Grant (back) will not play against the Heat and Luc Mbah a Moute (personal) will play.

Advice: Grant suffered the injury on Sunday and should be considered day-to-day. Mbah a Moute was playing well before his Sunday absence and he should get minutes. With Grant and Jason Richardson (knee) out, Hollis Thompson and JaKarr Sampson should play a little more. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 3:15 pm
    • Luc Mbah a Moute will play on Monday
Luc Mbah a Moute (personal) will play against the Heat on Monday.

Advice: He missed Sunday due to personal reasons. Mbah a Moute was coming off a 16-point, 10-board game on Friday and should get minutes over 30 tonight. He's someone to consider in DFS tonight. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 3:14 pm
    • Jason Richardson (knee) out on Monday night
Jason Richardson (knee) will not play against the Heat on Monday.

Advice: He played in the last two games and actually looked good in those two, averaging 7.0 points, 6.0 boards, 1.0 steals and 1.0 treys in 21.0 minutes per game. He will likely have to rest throughout the season, so it's tough to add him in even deep leagues. With J-Rich out and Jerami Grant up in the air, there should be more minutes for Hollis Thompson and JaKarr Sampson on the wing. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 12:29 pm
    • Jerami Grant (back) questionable for Monday
Jerami Grant (back) is questionable to play against the Heat on Monday.

Advice: He suffered the injury yesterday, which was too bad considering he was looking at extended minutes with Luc Mbah a Moute out. If Grant doesn't play, there should be more playing time for JaKarr Sampson and Hollis Thompson. Plus, Henry Sims should play more because Nerlens Noel will likely play more power forward and Robert Covington also playing more on the wing. Rotoworld.com
      Monday, 12:27 pm
    • Kawhi Leonard fighting through shooting slump
Kawhi Leonard admitted that he's currently fighting through a shooting slump.

Advice: "You definitely got to fight through it," he said. "I still have confidence in my shot. I never think I'm going to miss the next one." Before the Feb. 20 game against the Warriors, Leonard was in a 12-of-52 slide, including 1-of-11 against the Clippers. Gregg Popovich admitted Leonard has had a "rough year," in which he's dealt with both eye infections and a torn ligament in his hand. His efficiency is down as he's shooting just 43.8 percent from the field, and while some of that can be attributed to a larger role, it would be foolish to ignore the injury factors. Rotoworld.com

    • Blatt: Shumpert, Smith have been a 'godsend'
David Blatt said J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert have been a 'godsend' for the Cavs.

Advice: J.R. Smith has been a dream for us, as a team and for me personally," Blatt said. "I love the guy. I love coaching him. He comes to work every single day. He’s a great teammate. He’s playing both ends of the court for us consistently." He didn't just stop there, either. "He’s one of the main reasons for our turnaround, together with Iman, who simply started later because of the injury. Those guys, honestly, they’ve been a godsend. They really have. They turned the team around." Since joining the Cavs, Smith is averaging 12.8 points, 1.7 steals and 2.7 triples in 32 minutes per game. Rotoworld.com

    • Evan Turner hands out season-high 12 assists
Evan Turner finished Sunday's OT defeat with 12 points on 5-of-19 shooting, six rebounds and a season-high 12 assists.

Advice: He added two steals while turning the ball over four times in 36 minutes of action. Fantasy owners should view this line skeptically for numerous reasons -- he did this against the Lakers' lackluster defense, Isaiah Thomas was ejected during his Celts' debut off the bench, and Turner is now a combined 23-of-90 from the field over his past nine games (25.6 percent).
