  • Kendrick Perkins may be facing a suspension
Kendrick Perkins may be facing a suspension from the league for his Flagrant 1 foul against Jae Crowder on Sunday.

Advice: Perkins hit Crowder with a hard screen during the game, which resulted in an altercation, and Perkins threw a semi-jab at Crowder's face. It was a bit shocking to see him only get a Flagrant 1 for his actions, and the league may want to step in and dish out some additional punishment here. However, Perkins has only logged a mere six minutes of action throughout the Cavs' entire first-round series, so a potential suspension would have a negligible impact on Cleveland's rotations. • Kelly Olynyk could be facing a suspension?
Kelly Olynyk may be facing a suspension for his actions against Kevin Love during Sunday's Game 4 loss to the Cavs.

Advice: Olynyk got tangled up with Love on a play during the first quarter, pulling at Loves arm, and it resulted in a dislocated shoulder for Love. Evan Turner did come to Olynyk's defense after the game saying, "He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He just can't box out to save his life." Boston's season is over, so the suspension wouldn't go in effect until next season, but we'll be watching or an official ruling from the league. Olynyk finished Sunday's game with just one point and one rebound through 11 minutes of play. Rotoworld.com

  • Jared Sullinger's 21 pts not enough for BOS
Jared Sullinger did his best to keep the Celtics' season alive on Sunday, scoring 21 points on 9-of-17 shooting, to go with 11 rebounds, one 3-pointer and one block, but it ultimately was not enough as Boston was swept by Cleveland.

Advice: Sullinger made some minor improvements during third year in the league, finishing his 2014-15 campaign with averages of 13.3 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 0.9 three-pointers, 0.8 steals and 0.7 blocks per game. Injuries also limited him to just 58 regular-season games, marking his second injury-plagued season. His weight continues to be an issue, and his low field goal percentage partnered with limited contributions to the defensive categories really weighs down his value. He's not much more than a low-end asset in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Chris Kaman (ankle) probable for Game 4
Chris Kaman (ankle) is being listed as probable for Game 4 against the Grizzlies on Monday.

Advice: Kaman will likely see his minutes in the teens, but he's not going to do enough on the stat sheet to matter in fantasy leagues. Kaman's minutes will come at the expense of Meyers Leonard. Rotoworld.com

  • Aron Baynes (ankle) available for Game 4
Gregg Popovich said that everyone will be available to play for Sunday's Game 4 against the Clippers.

Advice: Baynes spent Friday's Game 3 on the sidelines with a sprained ankle, but he'll return to action on Sunday. With the rest of the Spurs healthy, Baynes doesn't offer much fantasy value at all. Rotoworld.com

  • Jared Sullinger (tailbone) will play Sunday
Jared Sullinger (bruised tailbone) will be available to play in Game 4 vs. the Cavaliers on Sunday.

Advice: Sullinger was unable to practice on Saturday and was supposedly a game-time decision, but it's a good sign that the Celtics cleared him to play with over an hour before tip-off. Sullinger is averaging 9.3 points and 5.7 boards while shooting 57 percent from the field in the series, so he is going to have to continue to provide solid minutes off the bench if the Celtics want to avoid getting swept by the Cavaliers. • Jared Sullinger will be a game-time decision
Jared Sullinger (bruised tailbone) will be a game-time decision on Sunday against the Cavaliers.

Advice: He wasn't able to practice at all on Saturday and was originally listed as probable, so it looks like he is in danger of missing this contest. For what it's worth, head coach Brad Stevens wouldn't give any indication on whether or not Sullinger will give it a go, but we will pass along an update when we know more. Brandon Bass and Jonas Jerebko could play more if Sullinger is held out. Rotoworld.com

  • Chris Kaman (ankle) returns to action
Chris Kaman (ankle) returned from a one-game absence and saw 17 minutes of action in Game 3 against the Grizzlies on Saturday.

Advice: Kaman finished with two points, six boards and one assist, but he was clearly hobbling and he probably shouldn't have played tonight. The veteran probably won't be close to 100 percent for the rest of the series, but we will continue to keep a close eye on his status in advance of Game 4 on Monday. For what it's worth, Kaman's ankle was noticeably swollen after the game, so it's admirable that he tried to play through the pain for his teammates. Rotoworld.com

  • Chris Kaman (ankle) will play in Game 3
Chris Kaman (ankle) will play in Game 3 vs. the Grizzlies on Saturday.

Advice: He was held out of Game 2 and didn't practice on Friday, but he made it clear that he would be available tonight. Kaman isn't 100 percent, but he should see minutes in the teens which means that Joel Freeland may not be in the rotation. Meyers Leonard may also see less minutes. Rotoworld.com

  • Jared Sullinger is probable for Game 4 Sunday
Jared Sullinger missed practice on Saturday due to a bruised tailbone, but he is probable to play in Game 4 on Sunday according to head coach Brad Stevens.

Advice: Sullinger was having trouble getting up and down the court, so the team wisely held him out of practice as a precaution. It doesn't sound like he is in danger of missing any action, but we should have another update after shootaround. Sullinger is still getting back into shape after recovering from a foot injury, and he has only played an average of 17.3 minutes through three playoff games. However, he has been playing quite well with averages of 9.3 points and 5.7 boards while shooting 57 percent from the field. Rotoworld.com

  • Gooden gets loose for 12 and seven
Drew Gooden scored 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting (including three treys) with seven rebounds and three blocks in 18 minutes off the bench in Friday's Game 3 win over the Raptors.

Advice: Gooden is a high-risk, somewhat high-reward guy to look at as filler for your DFS lineup. Rotoworld.com
    Friday, 8:11 pm
  • Aron Baynes (ankle) will not play on Friday
Coach Gregg Popovich said Aron Baynes (ankle) will not play on Friday against the Clippers.

Advice: Not even a mask can get Baynes to play, apparently. It's a little interesting and unusual for Pop to reveal Baynes' status for this game. As we all know, theatricality and deception are powerful agents to the uninitiated. It sounds like Baynes will be out for a couple games. Tiago Splitter and Boris Diaw will play more. Rotoworld.com

  • Chris Kaman, Arron Afflalo planning to play
Chris Kaman (ankle) and Arron Afflalo (shoulder) are planning to play on Saturday in Game 3.

Advice: Kaman is listed as questionable and he said he didn't do anything in practice on Friday. "I know once I tape it and get the right drugs in me, everything will be good," Kaman said. "I’m ready to play tomorrow." He's likely looking at minutes in the teens and will bump Joel Freeland out of the rotation while taking away some time from Meyers Leonard. Rotoworld.com
    Friday, 4:44 pm
  • Chris Kaman (ankle) questionable for Saturday
Chris Kaman (ankle) is questionable to play against the Grizzlies on Saturday.

Advice: His ankle was heavily taped at practice on Friday and he probably won't be 100 percent. Meyers Leonard will likely be the first big off the bench while Joel Freeland was in the rotation for just four minutes in Game 2. Fantasy owners can ignore this situation in almost all cases. Rotoworld.com
    Friday, 12:51 pm
  • Aron Baynes (ankle) doubtful for Game 3
Aron Baynes (sprained ankle) is being listed as doubtful for Friday's Game 3 against the Clippers.

Advice: It's unclear exactly when Baynes suffered this ankle injury, but it's sounding like he's not going to be able to play tonight. Head coach Gregg Popovich said that Tiago Splitter will be available for as many minutes as needed tonight, so he looks like the primary beneficiary with Baynes on the sidelines. Rotoworld.com

  • Ryan Anderson scores 26 points in loss
Ryan Anderson scored 26 points against the Warriors on Thursday with five rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in 30 minutes.

Advice: He scored just seven points combined in his previous two games and it looked like giving Ryno big minutes was going to work before the Pelicans folded down the stretch. Anderson should be looking at extended playing time again on Saturday. Rotoworld.com
    Thursday, 9:59 pm
  • Kelly Olynyk plays just three minutes
Kelly Olynyk played just three minutes against the Cavs on Thursday.

Advice: He didn't take a shot today and coach Brad Stevens basically cut him out of the rotation. Olynyk only added one assist and one turnover tonight. His minutes went to Jonas Jerebko and Luigi Datome, who both played well. Olynyk's sub-par rim protecting likely cost him some playing time and that might continue the rest of the way. Rotoworld.com

  • Joel Embiid will play summer league ball
Sixers CEO Scott O'Neil said Joel Embiid will participate in summer league basketball.

Advice: Sixers head coach Brett Brown had previously been non-committal when asked about Embiid's potential participation, but it looks like that plan has now been finalized. After having some conditioning issues while sitting out his rookie season due to surgery, this is a good move for Embiid to get into shape so he can hit the ground running for the 2015-16 season. Like his teammate Nerlens Noel did this past summer, Embiid will go into fantasy drafts as a high-risk, high-reward option for owners willing to roll the dice. Rotoworld.com

  • Chris Kaman (ankle) will not play in Game 2
Chris Kaman (ankle) will not play against the Grizzlies in Game 2 on Wednesday.

Advice: He has been on the injury report for a back issue, but he suffered this ankle injury in practice on Tuesday. Joel Freeland will likely be the backup center while we could see LaMarcus Aldridge and Meyers Leonard get some time at the five. Rotoworld.com

  • Tyler Hansbrough scoreless in start at PF
Tyler Hansbrough was a non-factor during Tuesday's lopsided defeat, going scoreless with one personal foul and no other stats to his credit in 12 minutes of action.

Advice: Amir Johnson had 10 points and five rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench, and the Raptors' obvious need for a shake-up could move Johnson back into the starting lineup on Friday. Hansbrough isn't a viable fantasy option regardless of where he starts Game 3. Rotoworld.com

  • Nikola Pekovic set to miss at least 6 months
Nikola Pekovic (Achilles) will miss at least six months after undergoing surgery on his right Achilles tendon.

Advice: A timetable of six months would put Pekovic out until mid-October, so there's a decent chance he may not be ready for the start of the 2015-16 season. We'll monitor Pek's status closely, but it sounds like Gorgui Dieng will have a more prominent role next season as the plan is to limit Pekovic's minutes even when he's healthy. With his prolonged timetable and upcoming minutes limit, Pekovic's fantasy will be limited to deeper leagues if this current news holds. Rotoworld.com

  • Wolves expect Kevin Garnett back in 2015-16
Wolves head coach and president Flip Saunders said he expects Kevin Garnett to return for the 2015-16 season.

Advice: KG is set to become a free agent on July 1, but Saunders expects the veteran to remain in Minnesota for his 20th NBA season. While it's a bit of a surprise to see the 38-year-old planning to return for another season, he is likely to transition to a front office or ownership role with the Timberwolves so it makes sense for him to remain with the team. If Garnett does indeed return for another season, he's more or less off the fantasy radar as he's too unreliable to depend on outside of the deepest of leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Anderson continues to struggle for NO
Ryan Anderson hit 1-of-5 shots and played just nine minutes in Monday's Game 2 loss to the Warriors.

Advice: Anderson has been ice-cold since returning from his knee injury and he'll eventually get it turned around, but one has to wonder if it will happen this year or not. Rotoworld.com

  • Wolves hoping for 20 minutes out of Pek
Coach Flip Saunders said he's optimistic Nikola Pekovic will be able to give the Wolves 20 minutes per game.

Advice: That should have been the plan coming into this season and perhaps the Wolves will stick with it this time. Around the All-Star break, Pekovic was playing around 35 minutes per game, but the wheels fell off two weeks later. If Pek does play just 20 minutes per game, that's fantastic news for Gorgui Dieng for now. That could all change with the upcoming draft. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Garnett preparing to return next season
Kevin Garnett (knee) is going through the work to prepare to play next season.

  • Aron Baynes benched, bullied in Game 1 loss
Aron Baynes suffered during Sunday's road loss vs. the Clippers, finishing with five points, five rebounds and one assist in 20 minutes.

Advice: Tiago Splitter (calf) was limited so Baynes played a significant role, but in a short span he was viciously dunked on by Blake Griffin, flipped into a row of photographers by Matt Barnes, and then dunked on again by Griffin. Splitter only logged 10 minutes and Baynes' ability to hold down the paint alongside Tim Duncan may be a key to the series, as he's likely to log 20+ minutes regardless of Splitter's status for Game 2. • Clippers bench lousy, besides Jamal Crawford
Glen Davis scored three points in 12 minutes and Austin Rivers added two points in 13 minutes during a lackluster bench effort vs. the Spurs on Sunday.

Advice: Jamal Crawford was terrific, saving L.A.'s second unit with 17 points, but at some point Davis, Rivers, Spencer Hawes and Hedo Turkoglu will need to step up. The Clippers had one of the NBA's least-efficient bench units this season, along with the Magic, Cavaliers and Heat, and that was glaringly obvious to start the second quarter when L.A.'s reserves let a 12-point lead dwindle to a two-point lead in the course of two minutes. Rotoworld.com

  • Matt Bonner (calf) plays only four minutes
Matt Bonner (calf) committed one foul and grabbed one rebound in four minutes off the Spurs' bench on Sunday.

Advice: Tiago Splitter's calf injury is a lingering issue and the Spurs will need all of their frontcourt depth vs. the Clippers. Bonner's return health is encouraging and his 3-point shooting could help spread the court and draw L.A.'s big men out of the paint, but he isn't likely to be a big factor. Rotoworld.com

  • Chris Kaman (back) scores seven pts in defeat
Chris Kaman (back) finished an ugly road loss on Sunday with seven points, six rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 14 minutes off Portland's bench.

Advice: The Blazers opened the game 7-of-29 from the field and never regained their footing, finishing 33.7 percent from the field including an 8-of-26 mark from downtown. Portland will need Kaman and Robin Lopez (two points, five rebounds) to step up if they hope to even their first-round series at 1-1 on Wednesday. Rotoworld.com

  • Kelly Olynyk scores 12 pts, starts 2nd half
Kelly Olynyk started the second half of Sunday's game in Cleveland, finishing with 12 points, two 3-pointers, two rebounds, one assist, one steal and two blocks in 18 minutes of action.

Advice: Olynyk wasn't bothered despite playing with five stitches in his head after being elbowed in the Celts' regular-season finale. He was hot offensively in the first half and bumped Tyler Zeller to the bench, but it's unclear whether this was a temporary switch or something Brad Stevens will stick with on Tuesday. We'll pass along an update once Stevens discusses the decision. Rotoworld.com

  • Jared Sullinger held to 14 minutes in Game 1
Jared Sullinger came off the bench for four points, four rebounds and one block in 14 minutes on Sunday, as the Celtics fell 100-113 to the Cavaliers.

Advice: Sullinger posted a nice line in 28 minutes on Wednesday, suggesting that he could play heavy minutes if required. He was one of three Celtics' players without a negative +/- rating tonight, joining Isaiah Thomas and Jonas Jerebko, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him closer to the 20-minute mark during Tuesday's critical Game 2. • Ognjen Kuzmic sent down to D-League
Ognjen Kuzmic has been sent down to the Warriors' D-League affiliate.

Advice: Kizmic hasn't gotten into any game-time action since Jan 31, and unless an injury strikes the Warriors frontcourt, he has no shot of playing significant minutes this postseason. Rotoworld.com

  • Ryan Anderson has brutal shooting game
Ryan Anderson made 1-of-6 from the field for three points with five boards, one assist and one 3-pointer in 21 minutes against the Warriors on Saturday.

Advice: The Pelicans just couldn't get anything out of their other big men besides Anthony Davis. It does make a lot of sense to add some spacing to their offense and put Ryno in the starting lineup, but Quincy Pondexter actually did a decent job in that regard today. Anderson will need to play better on defense to earn more minutes. Rotoworld.com

  • Matt Bonner (calf) questionable for Sunday
Matt Bonner (calf) is questionable to play against the Clippers on Sunday.

Advice: He was well enough to direct a Spurs music video, but he hasn't played since suffering the injury on Apr. 10. The Spurs will give more minutes to Tim Duncan, so Bonner won't be needed as much. Rotoworld.com

  • Drew Gooden gets 23 minutes vs. Toronto
Drew Gooden played 23 minutes against the Raptors on Saturday with six points, 10 boards, two assists and one block.

Advice: The Raptors actually made Gooden look good today and his line could have been a lot better than this. Gooden had four offensive rebounds and looked as spry as ever. He'll likely be looking at minutes around 20 on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com

  • Tyler Hanbrough scores four in 13 minutes
Tyler Hansbrough started on Saturday against the Wizards and played just 13 minutes, scoring four points with one block.

Advice: He didn't grab any rebounds and didn't play in the final 26 minutes of this game. It's safe to assume Hansbrough won't be starting on on Tuesday for Game 2. Rotoworld.com

  • Chris Kaman is probable to play on Sunday
Chris Kaman (back) is probable to play against the Grizzlies on Sunday.

Advice: He didn't play on Wednesday due to a lingering back injury. The Blazers are somewhat healthy up front as far as active players go, so expect Kaman to log minutes in the mid-teens. He won't be able to do much on offense with his low usage rate and will have to do his damage on the glass. Rotoworld.com

  • Ognjen Kuzmic recalled from D-League
Ognjen Kuzmic has been recalled from the D-League.

  • Tyler Hansbrough will start over Amir Johnson
Tyler Hansbrough will continue to start over Amir Johnson against the Wizards on Saturday.

Advice: Johnson recently returned from an ankle injury and has come off the bench for the last two games, but it is a little surprising to see head coach Dwane Casey go with Psycho T again. Johnson should still see minutes in the mid-20s, but owners in daily leagues should probably avoid both players for now. Hansbrough started the last six games of the regular season, so the Raptors are probably just looking for some continuity. Rotoworld.com

  • Joel Embiid fined several times by the 76ers?
Joel Embiid was reportedly fined thousands of dollars for showing up late and missing multiple rehab sessions this season.

Advice: Head coach Brett Brown recently said that he questioned Embiid's work ethic at times this season, so this report likely has some validity. This is definitely a story that he will continue to follow, and if you factor in the uncertainties surrounding his foot injury, he will be a high-risk, high-reward option next season. Hopefully, we will get a good chance to evaluate him at the summer league if he is cleared to play. Rotoworld.com

  • Larry Sanders still not interested in NBA?
Larry Sanders was reportedly in Milwaukee this week, but sources close to him say that he doesn't have any desire to play professional basketball again.

Advice: Sanders has some personal issues to work through and recently said that he quit basketball to find his true purpose in life, so it doesn't sound like we will see him in the NBA any time soon. There is too much uncertainly surrounding Sanders to consider drafting him next season, but we will monitor this situation very closely in the off-season. Rotoworld.com
