    • Darius Garland finishes Game 2 with 15 points
Darius Garland amassed 15 points (5-of-11 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 32 minutes in Monday’s win over the Magic.

Advice: After appearing to tweak his lower back during Game 1, Garland was not on the injury report ahead of Game 2. The more significant issue for the Cavaliers’ point guard on Monday was foul trouble, which cut into his usual time on the court. Garland still led Cleveland with four 3-pointers, providing needed spacing on a night when the other four starters combined go 4-of-19 from beyond the arc. The series now shifts to Orlando, with Game 3 scheduled for Thursday night. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:01 pm
    • Leads from deep in Game 2 win
Garland posted 15 points (5-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four assists, three rebounds and one steal over 32 minutes in Cleveland's 96-86 win over Orlando in Game 2 of the first-round playoff series.

Advice: Garland had a strong showing from deep in Cleveland's second straight victory to begin the series, connecting on a team-high mark from three while handing out a team-high-tying assist total and ending as one of four Cavaliers with 15 or more points. Garland has provided a nice boost for Cleveland through two games in the first round, posting at least 14 points, four assists and three rebounds in two straight outings. • Myles Turner records 17/8/2/2 stat line vs. Bucks
Myles Turner shot 5-of-17 from the field and 4-of-6 from the foul line in Sunday’s 109-94 loss to Milwaukee, accounting for 17 points, eight rebounds, two assists, two steals, and three 3-pointers in 33 minutes.

Advice: At first glance, Turner recorded a decent stat line in Sunday’s series opener. However, he was 3-of-10 from three and 5-of-17 overall, offering minimal value in the paint on both ends of the floor. Turner’s ability to hit perimeter shots is a valuable asset, but the Pacers may need a little more from him in the interior in this series. Also, he did not record a blocked shot after tallying at least one in his final 13 games of the regular season. Turner and the Pacers will look to rebound on Tuesday when the teams get together for Game 2. Rotoworld Sunday, 7:12 pm
    • Eyeing Game 3 return
Wood (knee) is hopeful to be cleared to play for the Lakers' Game 3 matchup with the Nuggets on Thursday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Wood hasn't played since Feb. 14 while rehabbing from an arthroscopic knee procedure, so even if he's available for Game 3, the reserve big man may be limited to a minor role or kept out of the rotation entirely. Across 50 regular-season appearances (one start), Wood averaged 6.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in 17.4 minutes per game. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:24 am
    • Shams: Christian Wood (knee) planning to return G3
Christian Wood (left knee surgery) is planning to return for Game 3 against Denver on Thursday.

Advice: Wood had an arthroscopic procedure in the middle of March on his left knee and has been sidelined since then. He will be out for Game 2 on Monday, but he is expected to be back in the lineup when the series shifts to Los Angeles. He may fill some of the backup center minutes, but he didn’t do much in either of his appearances against Denver this season. Rotoworld Sunday, 10:24 am
    • Rudy Gobert grabs 16 rebounds in Game 1 blowout
Rudy Gobert finished Saturday’s 120-95 win over the Suns with 14 points (4-of-6 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), 16 rebounds, and two assists in 37 minutes.

Advice: Gobert did not record any defensive stats, but he was elite on the backboards in Saturday’s series opener. He led all players in offensive (six) and total (16) rebounds while also going a sparkling 6-of-7 from the foul line. Phoenix’s Jusuf Nurkic may not be a headliner in this series, but Gobert thoroughly outplaying him consistently would go a long way toward getting the Timberwolves to the second round. Naz Reid also gave the Timberwolves solid production, finishing with 12 points, two rebounds, two assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 19 minutes off the bench. Rotoworld Saturday, 4:36 pm
    • Top rebounder in double-double
Gobert ended with 14 points (4-6 FG, 6-7 FT), 16 rebounds and two assists in 37 minutes during Saturday's 120-95 win over the Suns in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Gobert owned the glass in Saturday's Game 1 victory, leading all players in the contest in rebounds while posting the lone double-double. Gobert concluded the regular season with at least 10 points and 15 rebounds in four of his final five outings. Rotowire.com Saturday, 3:59 pm
    • Darius Garland (back) dishes out eight assists
Darius Garland (lower back contusion) finished Saturday’s win over Orlando with 14 points (6-of-11 FGs), three rebounds, eight assists, one steal, and two 3-pointers in 32 minutes.

Advice: Garland experienced an injury scare early in the third quarter of Saturday’s series opener, as he needed to exit to receive treatment on his lower back. He sat out Sunday’s regular-season finale with a lower back contusion, which is why there could be some concern in Cleveland. The good news is that he returned to the game a little over two minutes later and did not experience further issues with the back. Game 2 is on Monday, and Caris LeVert would be of added importance to the Cavaliers if Garland’s back flares up before then. LeVert, who replaced DG early in the third quarter, played 20 minutes on Saturday, finishing with five points, four rebounds, and two assists. Rotoworld Saturday, 1:29 pm
    • Loaded line in loss
Sabonis produced 23 points (9-14 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 14 rebounds, seven assists, one block and three steals over 42 minutes during Friday's 105-98 Play-In loss to the Hornets.

Advice: Sabonis tacked on a couple more double-doubles in the postseason, but he and the Kings will go no further this season. Sabonis may not contribute across the board like some other top-tier fantasy assets, but it's tough to ignore the 19.4 points, league-leading 13.7 rebounds and career-high 8.2 assists he averaged over 82 appearances during the 2023-24 campaign.
