    • Jamal Murray, Reggie Jackson available for Game 5
Jamal Murray (left calf strain) and Reggie Jackson (left ankle sprain) will play in Game 5 against the Lakers on Monday.

Advice: Both of Denver’s point guards will be available to play in this game, though there was legitimate concern that Murray would miss this one. They’ll look to close out the series and advance to the next round, where Minnesota is waiting after they swept the Suns. Rotoworld Monday, 6:18 pm
    • True game-time call for Game 5
Murray (calf) is still listed as questionable for Monday's Game 5 against the Lakers, Vic Lombardi of Altitude Sports reports.

Advice: Murray will attempt to go through his pregame routine before a decision on his availability is made. "Sometimes I have to be the adult in the room," said head coach Michael Malone. "We'll see how he feels during his pregame routine." Malone went on to state that the team needs to be responsible and take the "bigger picture" approach. If Murray can help the team win and not put himself at risk of a more significant injury, playing will be on the table, per Vinny Benedetto of The Denver Gazette. Rotowire.com Monday, 5:26 pm
    • Drops 40 points in Game 4 win
Edwards recorded 40 points (13-23 FG, 7-13 3Pt, 7-10 FT), nine rebounds, six assists, two blocks and one steal across 41 minutes during Sunday's 122-116 win over Phoenix in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Advice: With this win, the Timberwolves will move on to face the winner of the series between the Nuggets and the Lakers. Edwards was outstanding in his first career playoff series victory, averaging 31.0 points, 8.0 rebounds, 6.3 assists, 2.0 steals and 3.5 three-pointers through four games. • Anthony Edwards drops 40 in closeout win
Anthony Edwards scored 40 points in Sunday’s closeout victory over Phoenix, adding nine rebounds, six assists, a steal, two blocks and seven three-pointers across 41 minutes.

Advice: Ant-Man did it all in this one as his team completed the first-round sweep. Edwards led his team in the scoring department, and he punctuated his monster night with a poster on Kevin Durant late in the fourth quarter. Edwards’ 40-point game breaks a tie with Kevin Garnett for most playoff games with 30 or more in franchis history. Edwards owns that record outright with eight such games. Most incredibly, Edwards has only played 15 playoff games in his young career. He’ll look to keep the momentum going in the Western Conference semifinals, where the Wolves will face either the Lakers or Nuggets. Rotoworld Sunday, 10:11 pm
    • Strong from deep as top scorer
Irving finished Sunday's 116-111 loss to the Clippers in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs with 40 points (14-25 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds and five assists over 45 minutes.

Advice: Irving put on a show offensively for Dallas in Sunday's contest, leading all players in scoring while pacing the Mavericks in threes made and ending second on the team in rebounds and assists in a losing effort. Irving has turned things up a notch in the postseason, tallying at least 20 points in all four games of the first-round series while surpassing the 30-point mark in the last two contests. • Kyrie Irving drops in 40 points in Game 4 loss
Kyrie Irving accounted for 40 points (14-of-25 FGs, 6-of-6 FTs), seven rebounds, five assists, and six 3-pointers in 45 minutes in Sunday’s 116-111 loss to the Clippers.

Advice: Dallas got off to a brutal start in Game 4, losing the first quarter by a 39-16 margin and trailing by as many as 31 points. But they fought their way back into the game, even leading at one point in the fourth quarter, thanks largely to Irving’s offensive mastery. he shot 9-of-17 from the field after halftime, finishing with his first 40-point playoff game since Game 4 of the 2017 NBA Finals as a member of the Cleveland Cavaliers. The lone negative for Irving was the turnover count, as he racked up seven. And most of that damage was done before halftime. The Mavericks will look to rebound when the series, which is tied at two games apiece, resumes on Wednesday in Los Angeles. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:57 pm
    • Dealing with calf strain
Murray is questionable for Monday's Game 5 against the Lakers due to a left calf strain.

Advice: Murray played 39 minutes during Saturday's Game 4 loss and posted 22 points (9-23 FG), six rebounds and five assists. However, he appears to have suffered a calf injury during the contest as well. While the Nuggets won the first three matchups of the series, the Lakers have led the majority of every game so far. Reggie Jackson (ankle) is probable for Game 5 and would presumably start at point guard if Murray is ruled out. Rotowire.com Sunday, 2:33 pm
    • Jamal Murray (calf) questionable for Game 5 Monday
Jamal Murray (left calf strain) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Lakers.

Advice: While Murray’s injury during Saturday’s Game 4 defeat appeared to be a tweak, he has been officially diagnosed with a strained left calf. Denver’s depth is already limited due to a lack of consistent production from the bench, so losing Murray would be a significant development. Reggie Jackson will move into the starting lineup if he cannot play. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:32 pm
    • Modest production again
Garland accumulated 14 points (5-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, six assists and one block over 32 minutes during Saturday's 112-89 loss to the Magic in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Advice: Garland has yet to score more than 15 points through four postseason games and has shot only 41.9 percent from the field during that stretch. Following back-to-back losses in Orlando to even the series, Cleveland needs more offensive production out of its point guard if the team is going to advance to the next round. During the regular season, Garland averaged 18.0 points on 44.6 percent shooting, including 37.1 percent from deep. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:17 am
