    • Won't play Thursday
Jerome (ankle) will remain on the sidelines for Game 3 versus the Magic on Thursday.

Advice: Jerome is still recovering from ankle surgery and hasn't played since Oct. 27. Even if he's cleared to suit up during the postseason, he's unlikely to crack the rotation. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:43 pm
    • Used sparingly in win
Exum finished with zero points (0-1 FG), one rebound and one block across six minutes during Tuesday's 96-93 victory over the Clippers in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Exum saw just six minutes off the bench despite an ankle injury to Tim Hardaway. The Mavericks opted to go with size over speed, resulting in an important victory. With so much flexibility across their roster, Exum's role could fluctuate significantly moving forward. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:16 am
    • Hits go-ahead three-pointer for win
DiVincenzo totaled 19 points (5-10 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two steals across 37 minutes during Monday's 104-101 win over the 76ers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: The Knicks mounted a late rally to get within striking distance and DiVincenzo sealed the win, thanks to a last-second miss from Joel Embiid. The efficient wingman failed to meet expectations in Game 1, but he shot 50 percent from the floor Monday night to help give the Knicks a 2-0 series lead. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 3:59 am
    • Donte DiVincenzo hits game-winner, scores 19 PTS
Donte DiVincenzo played 37 minutes in Monday’s 104-101 win over Philadelphia, tallying 19 points (5-of-10 FGs, 5-of-5 FTs), four rebounds, three assists, two steals, and four 3-pointers.

Advice: While former college roommate Jalen Brunson struggled with his shot most of the night, DiVincenzo performed better than in Game 1 on Saturday. He also made the biggest shot of Game 2, as his 3-pointer with 13.1 seconds remaining gave the Knicks the lead for good. Unlike Game 1, when Miles McBride replaced him in the lineup in crunch time, DiVincenzo was on the court on Monday and came up big for the Knicks. McBride played 21 minutes off the bench, accounting for nine points, one rebound, two assists, and one steal. Game 3 is on Thursday night in Philadelphia. Rotoworld Monday, 7:29 pm
    • Remains out
Jerome (ankle) has been ruled out for Game 2 of the opening-round series against the Magic on Monday.

Advice: Jerome hasn't played since Oct. 27 and underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right ankle in late January. He doesn't have a return timetable. Rotowire.com Sunday, 12:49 pm
    • Not listed on injury report
Exum (foot) is not on the official injury report and will be available for Game 1 of the opening-round series against the Clippers on Sunday.

Advice: Exum didn't play in the Mavericks' final game of the regular season since the training staff wanted him to rest a lingering foot injury before the playoffs. He shouldn't have any limitations for the series opener against the Clippers on Sunday and should see his regular minutes off the bench. Rotowire.com Saturday, 3:53 pm
    • Unavailable for Saturday's game
Jerome (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's Game 1 against the Magic.

Advice: Jerome has not played since Oct. 27, and it seems unlikely that he'll be able to return during the playoffs. The 26-year-old underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right ankle in late January, and there is still no timetable for his return. Rotowire.com Friday, 1:02 pm
    • Kerr: Kuminga needs to become ‘more versatile’
During his season-ending press conference, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said Jonathan Kuminga needs to become more versatile this offseason.

Advice: While the 2023-24 season was the best of Kuminga’s NBA career, his skill set limited where he could play within the Warriors’ rotation. According to Cleaning the Glass, 96% of his minutes were played at the power forward position, meaning he could not share the floor with Draymond Green and Trayce Jackson-Davis. That trio can be Golden State’s best defensive frontcourt, but only if Kuminga expands his offensive repertoire. “I think he sees the floor pretty well, but his fundamentals in terms of passing have to improve if he’s going to play the three,” Kerr said. “We need him to play the three if we want to have Trayce out there at the five and Draymond at the four. That ideally would be a great defensive lineup. But we’re not ready for that yet as a team.” Rotoworld Thursday, 8:34 pm
    • Bench role in the cards for Klay Thompson?
Warriors coach Steve Kerr mentioned the possibility of Klay Thompson coming off the bench should he remain with the team during his end-of-season press conference.

Advice: Thompson’s 2023-24 season came to a brutal end, as he missed all ten field goal attempts and went scoreless in Tuesday’s Play-In tournament loss to the Kings. The veteran guard, one of the all-time great shooters in NBA history, will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer. And a return to the Warriors could depend on how amenable he is to coming off the bench, which is what happened this season. “I thought Klay really showed that he was agreeable to the sixth-man role the second half of the year, even though eventually we put him back in the starting lineup,” Kerr, who noted that the team needs to add more shooting to the roster this offseason, said. “I think that’s got to be an option going forward. I would prefer not to play him 35 minutes.” Thompson’s future in the Bay Area, beginning with whether or not he’ll re-sign with the team, impacts multiple Warriors, including Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody.
