      Advice: Anunoby, who was on fire offensively, appeared to tweak his hamstring on a run-out during the third quarter. Soreness in his left hamstring is why the Knicks forward will not return to Game 2. Precious Achiuwa will play more minutes off the bench in Anunoby’s absence.       Anunoby limped to the locker room holding his left hamstring during Wednesday's Game 2 against Indiana, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: After being without Jalen Brunson for portions of the first half, the Knicks could be down Anunoby after he came up limping during the third quarter with what appears to be a left hamstring injury. Until we get an official update from the Knicks, Anunoby should be considered questionable to return.       The NBA announced Tuesday that Murray will be fined $100,000 but won't be suspended after throwing a heat pad and towel on the court during Monday's Game 2 loss to Minnesota, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: Murray tallied just eight points in Monday's 106-80 loss to the Timberwolves and threw a heat pad and towel on the court in frustration.     • Shams: Jamal Murray won’t be suspended for Game 3
      Jamal Murray will be fined for throwing a towel and heat pad on the court during Game 2 against Minnesota on Monday, but he will not be suspended, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

      Advice: Murray had two separate instances of throwing items from the bench on the court during the Game 2 loss, but it won’t result in him missing any time during this series. A substantial fine should be enough for him to not throw anything else on the court, but if it happens again, a suspension wouldn’t be surprising.       Gordon registered 20 points (8-14 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal in 33 minutes during Monday's 106-80 loss to Minnesota in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

      Advice: Gordon played with tons of energy and tried to spark the rest of the team throughout the game, but his efforts were unsuccessful. This game snapped a three-game streak of Gordon not being able to reach double-digit figures in the scoring column, and Gordon needs to remain a valuable offensive alternative for the Nuggets if they want to have a shot at turning the series around, especially given the struggles of both Jamal Murray and Michael Porter.       Advice: Murray has struggled badly in the postseason when it comes to his efficiency despite the fact he had some good moments in the series against the Lakers. However, Monday's game was a new low for him, as he missed 15 of his 18 shots and didn't reach the 10-point plateau for the first time since Feb. 29. Murray needs to bounce back if the Nuggets want to have a shot at turning things around.       Advice: Murray had a rough night at the office, as Denver fell into an 0-2 hole. He struggled with his shot throughout and was also visibly frustrated with the officials. Things reached a head during the second quarter when an angry Murray threw a heat pack onto the court. No technical foul was called at the time, but the NBA is likely to hand down a punishment of some kind before Game 3 on Friday.       Aaron Gordon played 33 minutes in Monday’s Game 2 loss to the Timberwolves, accounting for 20 points (8-of-14 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, two assists, one steal, and three 3-pointers.

      Advice: Gordon played better than any other Nugget in Game 2, and while that benefitted those who put him into their DFS lineups, that was not good news for Denver. Stars Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray combined to score 24 points, and Michael Porter Jr. (9/5/2/1/1 with one 3-pointer) shot 1-of-7 from three while committing four turnovers. Gordon was one block shy of a full stat line, and his production was one of the few bright spots on Monday.       Advice: Siakam has scored 19 points in his last two postseason games, appearing to turn the corner after going quiet in Games 3 through 5 of Indiana’s first-round series with Milwaukee. While all teams deal with injuries to a certain extent this time of year, it’s clear that Tyrese Haliburton’s back is still causing him trouble. As a result, the Pacers will need more production from Siakam and Myles Turner, and they combined to score 42 points in Game 1. Indiana will look to even the series at one game apiece on Wednesday.
