    • Jarrett Allen finishes with 15 PTS, eight boards
Jarrett Allen shot 5-of-6 from the field and 5-of-5 from the foul line in Thursday’s 121-83 loss to Orlando, accounting for 15 points, eight rebounds, and one blocked shot in 24 minutes.

Advice: Allen was dominant in the series’ first two games, grabbing 38 rebounds in two Cavaliers victories. In response, Orlando changed its starting lineup, replacing Jonathan Isaac with Wendell Carter Jr., and that appeared to help keep Allen off the boards. Of course, the nature of Game 3 limited the minutes of all ten starters, so DFS players should not read too much into Allen’s stat line. Evan Mobley was also held in check, as he finished with 10 points, two rebounds, one assist, and three blocks in 22 minutes. Cleveland will take a 2-1 series lead into Game 4 on Saturday. • Donovan Mitchell limited to 13 points on Thursday
Donovan Mitchell shot 6-of-16 from the field and 0-of-1 from the foul line in Thursday’s Game 3 loss to the Magic, accounting for 13 points, five rebounds, seven assists, and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes.

Advice: Dominant in the first two games of the series, Mitchell was held in check in Game 3. While he did lead the Cavaliers in assists, only Caris LeVert (15/2/3/0/1 with one 3-pointer) had a worse plus/minus than Spida, who finished at a minus-25. Mitchell largely carried Cleveland’s backcourt in the first two games, but his off night was problematic, with Darius Garland continuing to struggle. Garland shot 2-of-9 from the field in Game 3, finishing with five points, three rebounds, six assists, and one 3-pointer. Game 4 is on Saturday, with Cleveland holding a 2-1 lead. • Efficient despite loss in Game 2
Jones chipped in 18 points (6-9 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and one assist over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 124-92 loss to the Thunder in Game 2 of the Western Conference first round.

Advice: Jones posted his best performance of the current postseason run, but his efforts were not enough as the Pelicans suffered a 32-point loss and now face an 0-2 deficit in the first-round series. Jones has scored in double digits in just four of his 12 appearances this month, and this 18-point output tied his best scoring mark since posting a 19-point effort against Miami on Feb. 23, so he's not expected to carry the Pelicans on offense in Game 3 on Saturday. • Won't play Thursday
Porter (ankle) has been ruled out for Thursday's Game 3 matchup with Orlando.

Advice: Porter has yet to play this postseason, but he's a negligible part of the rotation. His next chance to wear a uniform will come Saturday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:39 pm
    • Craig Porter Jr. (ankle) still out for Game 3
Craig Porter Jr. (left ankle sprain) will remain sidelined for Game 3 against Orlando on Thursday.

Advice: Porter Jr. isn’t part of the team’s playoff rotation when he is healthy, so his absence will not impact their minutes whatsoever. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:35 pm
    • Kevin Love (arm) active for Game 2
Kevin Love (left upper arm contusion) is active for the Heat’s Wednesday matchup with the Celtics.

Advice: Love isn’t a threat to miss any time after appearing on the injury report following Game 1. The Heat forward has averaged 11,3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and one assist off the bench in his previous three contests. Rotoworld Tuesday, 1:41 pm
    • Darius Garland finishes Game 2 with 15 points
Darius Garland amassed 15 points (5-of-11 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), three rebounds, four assists, one steal, and four 3-pointers in 32 minutes in Monday’s win over the Magic.

Advice: After appearing to tweak his lower back during Game 1, Garland was not on the injury report ahead of Game 2. The more significant issue for the Cavaliers’ point guard on Monday was foul trouble, which cut into his usual time on the court. Garland still led Cleveland with four 3-pointers, providing needed spacing on a night when the other four starters combined go 4-of-19 from beyond the arc. The series now shifts to Orlando, with Game 3 scheduled for Thursday night. Rotoworld Monday, 7:01 pm
    • Leads from deep in Game 2 win
Garland posted 15 points (5-11 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), four assists, three rebounds and one steal over 32 minutes in Cleveland's 96-86 win over Orlando in Game 2 of the first-round playoff series.

Advice: Garland had a strong showing from deep in Cleveland's second straight victory to begin the series, connecting on a team-high mark from three while handing out a team-high-tying assist total and ending as one of four Cavaliers with 15 or more points. Garland has provided a nice boost for Cleveland through two games in the first round, posting at least 14 points, four assists and three rebounds in two straight outings. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:00 pm
    • Owns boards in 20-rebound game
Allen finished with 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-8 FT), 20 rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals over 39 minutes in Cleveland's 96-86 win over Orlando in Game 2 of the first-round playoff series.

Advice: Allen did it all to help Cleveland take a commanding 2-0 series lead, leading all players in Monday's contest in rebounds while pacing the Cavaliers in blocks to go along with a pair of steals in a double-double performance. Allen has owned the glass over the first two games of the opening-round series, recording at least 18 rebounds and a double-double in both contests. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:59 pm
