      Norman Powell finished Friday’s 114-101 loss to the Mavericks with 20 points (6-of-14 FGs, 6-of-8 FTs), four rebounds, and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

      Advice: Powell played a series-high 36 minutes in Game 6, hitting the 20-point mark for the first time since he scored 21 in Game 3. The Clippers playing without Kawhi Leonard resulted in more opportunities for Norm, even if he remained in a reserve role. Powell was once again one of the NBA’s most productive bench scorers, but his fantasy value will remain capped as long as the Clippers have Paul George and Kawhi Leonard on the wings. Powell is under contract for two more seasons, and unless George were to opt out and leave, his place within the Clippers’ rotation is unlikely to change in 2024-25.       Josh Giddey lit up the Pelicans with 14 points (5-of-10 FGs), three rebounds, one assist, one block and four triples on Monday.

      Advice: Giddey’s shot has been a weakness for the team’s offense all year, but he has improved drastically over the course of the season. He may have peaked during Games 3 and 4, as he knocked down four 3-pointers in each to help the Thunder complete the sweep and advance to the second round. His season-high of five 3-pointers also came in New Orleans, so he seems to really enjoy shooting on these rims.     • Karl-Anthony Towns turns in 28/10/3 in Game 4 win
      Karl-Anthony Towns turned in 28 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and four triples across 39 minutes in Sunday’s win over the Suns.

      Advice: Towns had his best game of the series, and the timing was perfect for Minnesota. Anthony Edwards led the way with 40 points, but KAT was the Wolves’ next highest scorer, and he chipped in his second straight double-double. Towns averaged just 25 minutes in Games 1-3, but he saw increased playing time, while Rudy Gobert played only 25 minutes.       Advice: Powell provided Los Angeles with a spark off the bench while leading all bench players in Sunday's contest in scoring and threes made in a double-digit performance in Game 4. Powell has connected on at least three threes with 10 or more points in two postseason games thus far, something that will be valuable the rest of the series for the Clippers if he is able to replicate the performance he put forth in Game 4.       Advice: After totaling just one point (0-4 FG) in 19 minutes during the two losses in Cleveland, Fultz accumulated 23 points and six rebounds in 36 minutes during the two wins in Orlando.       Advice: Giddey put together his best performance of the postseason, helping guide the Thunder to a comfortable victory. He was one of three Oklahoma City players to score at least 20 points, a feat achieved by no one for the Pelicans. Now leading the series 3-0, the Thunder will look to end things in Game 4 on Monday. He produced a solid stat line, and he was a threat from beyond the arc, which has been a weakness for the team. If Giddey can consistently knock down open shots, they’ll be a difficult team to slow down during this postseason. It is unlikely that he will continue to be this productive as a scorer, but he was an important piece in their big win on Saturday.       Advice: Towns needed 16 shots to score 18 points, but he still made his presence felt and looked active on the glass, grabbing double-digit boards despite being limited to just 24 minutes due to foul trouble. Towns has adjusted well to life operating as Minnesota's second offensive option behind Anthony Edwards, and he remains extremely valuable in fantasy as a two-way big man who can shoot threes at an above-average rate.       Karl-Anthony Towns recorded a double-double on Friday with 18 points (7-of-16 FGs), 13 rebounds, two assists and three 3-pointers against the Suns in Game 3.

      Advice: KAT dealt with some foul trouble early in this game, which limited him to just 24 minutes of playing time. However, he was still able to turn in an effective stat line. He has committed 12 fouls in three games despite averaging just 25 minutes per game. They’re still monitoring his minutes after his extended absence, but he should play more if he stays out of foul trouble. It hasn’t hurt them yet, but it isn’t something that he can continue to do in the next round, where they’ll likely face off against Denver, barring the first ever 3-0 comeback in NBA history.
