    • Plans to leave Clippers
George has informed the Clippers that he plans to sign with another team in free agency, Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.com reports.

Advice: George recently declined his $48.7 million player option with the Clippers, and he won't return to the team after the two sides had a meeting Sunday. The 76ers appear to be the favorites to sign the 34-year-old, but he'll presumably have offers from multiple suitors. Over 74 regular-season appearances last year, George averaged 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 33.8 minutes per game. Rotowire.com Today, 5:33 pm
    • Woj: LAC, Paul George ‘moving on from each other’
The Clippers and Paul George are “moving on from each other” after failing to agree to a new deal, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Advice: The lack of movement on a new deal prompted George to opt out of the final season of his contract and hit the market as an unrestricted free agent. Failure to make progress after that move likely means PG’s time as a Clipper has ended. TNT’s Chris Haynes reported Sunday afternoon that Philadelphia appeared to be the favorite to land George. With Orlando signing Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, George’s options are limited with his desire for a four-year deal. Rotoworld Today, 5:30 pm
    • Parting ways with Philadelphia
Batum doesn't plan to return to the 76ers in free agency, Kelly Iko of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Batum will hit free agency following a season in which he appeared in 60 games including 38 starts. Batum saw a significant role in the playoffs, averaging 6.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 28.3 minutes per game during Philadelphia's first-round matchup against the Knicks, proving he still can add value to a team. As such, the 35-year-old pro will likely receive some interest in free agency. Rotowire.com Today, 3:49 pm
    • Report: Nicolas Batum not returning to 76ers
According to Kelly Iko of The Athletic, Nicolas Batum will not be re-signing with the 76ers.

Advice: While Batum gave the 76ers solid minutes last season, re-signing him is not a priority, with Paul George and Klay Thompson being rumored targets. Batum should land with a team with playoff ambitions, but he’s unlikely to do enough to offer reliable fantasy value. Rotoworld Today, 3:28 pm
    • Report: Kings pursuing trade for Brandon Ingram
According to Sean Cunningham of the Sacramento Bee, the Kings are pursuing a trade for Pelicans wing Brandon Ingram.

Advice: Pelicans lead executive David Griffin hinted that significant changes were coming to the team’s roster after they were swept out of the playoffs. Ingram’s name has often been mentioned in the trade rumor mill, as he’s entering the final season of his current contract. Sacramento needs to increase its wing production, so it makes sense that the Kings would come up in the most recent Ingram rumor. Also, former Pelicans coach Alvin Gentry is part of the Sacramento front office, and Ingram’s emergence coincided with Gentry’s time in New Orleans. Rotoworld Today, 3:15 pm
    • Remaining in Miami
Love agreed Sunday with the Heat on a two-year deal worth over $8 million, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Advice: On Saturday, Love declined his $4.03 million player option for the 2024-25 season, but he'll remain with Miami after quickly coming to terms on a two-year deal. The 35-year-old made 55 regular-season appearances for Miami in 2023-24, averaging 8.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 16.8 minutes per game. He'll look to fend off rookie first-round pick Kel'el Ware for the primary backup role behind starting center Bam Adebayo. Rotowire.com Today, 3:07 pm
    • Shams: Heat, Kevin Love agree to two-year contract
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Kevin Love and the Heat are finalizing a two-year, $8 million deal.

Advice: Love opted out of the final season of his contract on Saturday, but the expectation was that he and the Heat would agree to a new deal. That has reportedly happened, with the veteran center in line to provide additional frontcourt depth. Miami did select Kel’El Ware with the No. 15 pick in last week’s draft, but retaining love will help with the rookie’s development behind All-Star Bam Adebayo. Rotoworld Today, 3:05 pm
    • Latches on with GSW
Knox is part of the Warriors' Summer League roster.

Advice: Knox started the 2023-24 campaign with Detroit but was traded to the Jazz in February and released shortly after, ending up with the Rip City Remix of the G League. The 2018 lottery pick will get a chance to prove he's worthy of a roster spot with Golden State this Summer. Rotowire.com Today, 1:38 pm
    • Haynes: ‘Growing optimism’ PHI signs Paul George
According to TNT’s Chris Haynes, there is “growing optimism” that Philadelphia will sign Paul George in free agency.

Advice: George’s desire for a four-year deal factored into his decision to opt out of the final season of his contract, as the Clippers have only offered three-year pacts thus far. Philadelphia has long been rumored as a potential landing spot for George, and the 76ers clearly remain interested despite reports to the contrary on June 20. George will reportedly hold meetings with the Clippers, 76ers, and Magic when free agency begins, but it’s fair to wonder if this report changes things for LA and Orlando. Rotoworld Today, 1:05 pm
