    • Andrea Bargnani scores 19 points vs. Raptors
Andrea Bargnani scored 19 points in a big win over the Raptors on Saturday with three rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer.

Advice: Take that, Masai Ujiri! Kidding aside, Bargnani seems to have his role as the primary scorer in the first unit. Although, there really isn't going to be much besides the scoring. He's worth a look in points leagues, but owners in standard leagues can probably shoot for a higher upside. Il Mago also disappears a lot because of injuries. Rotoworld.com

    • James Johnson scores 16 points, blocks three
James Johnson scored 14 points against the Knicks during a 103-98 loss on Saturday with seven rebounds, two assists and three blocks in 33 minutes.

Advice: He's arguably the most valuable player on the Raptors for fantasy value right now. In his last five, Johnson averaged 13.2 points, 4.4 boards 1.2 assists, 2.2 blocks and 1.6 steals on 63.3 percent from the field. He should be owned in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Michael Beasley plays 25 minutes
Michael Beasley played 25 minutes against the Hawks on Saturday during a 93-91 loss, scoring nine points with three rebounds and one 3-pointers.

Advice: Super Cool Beas is getting minutes, but he did foul out tonight. Things aren't going too great for him and tonight was a little bit of a fluke because the Heat moved around some guys because Chris Andersen (illness) didn't play. Beasley is only worth a look in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Henry Walker launches 11 treys
Henry Walker made his first start of the season on Saturday with 10 points, two rebounds, one assist and two turnovers.

Advice: He attempted 11 treys from behind the arc and coach Erik Spoelstra clearly wants to have him out there for spacing. Walker is actually on the radar in standard leagues and owners in deep leagues should give him a look, but he's still on a 10-day after all. Rotoworld.com

    • Jared Dudley (knee) out for Saturday
Jared Dudley (knee) will not play against the Jazz on Saturday.

Advice: X-rays were negative on his kneecap and he appears to be day-to-day. However, it's tough to gauge how much time he is going to miss because Dudley did have an issue with his kneecap last year. He can be dropped in most leagues. Ersan Ilyasova and Jerryd Bayless likely get most of Dudley's minutes. Ilyasova is worth a look in standard leagues and we'll let you know how he does tonight. Rotoworld.com

    • Henry Walker to start, Udonis Haslem to bench
Henry Walker will start at power forward against the Hawks with Udonis Haslem coming off the bench.

Advice: With Chris Andersen out, Haslem needs to play backup center for the Heat tonight. Walker has been on a roll lately and he's quickly already climbing into the conversation for 14-team leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Darrell Arthur (calf) questionable for Sunday
Darrell Arthur (calf) is questionable to play against the Pelicans on Sunday.

Advice: He is dealing with an upper muscle strain which seems like it's just behind the knee. Arthur tends to miss a lot of games due to injury, so he could miss more time. If he's out, the Nuggets will run a lot more small-ball lineups. However, nobody will consistently benefit with how coach Brian Shaw is running his rotation. Rotoworld.com

    • Wes Johnson hopes to remain a Laker
With free agency looming, Wes Johnson is hopeful that he will remain with the Lakers.

Advice: "I want to definitely stay here," said Johnson. "I like coach [Byron] Scott and the whole coaching staff. I love it here. I definitely want to be a part of when they get back." Johnson has struggled to show any kind of consistency since entering the NBA, and that story hasn't changed in Los Angeles. Johnson has averages of 9.5 points, 3.8 boards, 1.7 assists and 1.2 3-pointers in 29.0 minutes per game this season, but his role varies on a nightly basis. Until Johnson can string together a few good performances, he belongs on the waiver wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Thompson double-doubles in loss to SA
Jason Thompson scored 12 points on 6-of-10 shooting with 11 rebounds and one block in the Kings' 107-96 home loss to the Spurs on Friday.

Advice: Thompson has been pretty good so far under George Karl but he got his numbers with DeMarcus Cousins out and he should be back anytime now. If he can keep it up when Cousins returns, we'll let you know. Rotoworld.com

    • Casspi cold again on Friday vs. Spurs
Omri Casspi managed just six points, four rebounds and one steal in 24 minutes off the bench on Friday.

Advice: Casspi had a 17-rebound game on Saturday but hasn't been able to do squat since. This action can be watched from the wire. Rotoworld.com

    • Gallinari scores 13 points in loss
Danilo Gallinari scored 13 points on 5-of-15 shooting (including two threes) with two rebounds, one assist and two steals in Friday's blowout loss to the Jazz.

Advice: Gallo has been running pretty hot and this game shouldn't reverse any of that momentum. He should be owned in most standard formats. Rotoworld.com

    • Ajinca goes for 24 and eight in win over Heat
Alexis Ajinca scored a career-high 24 points off the bench on Friday, hitting 9-of-10 shots with eight rebounds and three blocks in just 22 minutes.

Advice: Ajinca also hit the game's final, deciding shot and he's looking pretty automatic whenever 20-30 mpg clears up. Anthony Davis could be back in the next week or so and Ryan Anderson is about two weeks behind Davis on a timetable. In the meantime, Ajinca should be owned by somebody in your league. Rotoworld.com

    • Beasley scores seven points in debut
Michael Beasley scored seven points in his season debut on Friday, and also chipped in with two rebounds, one assist and one 3-pointer.

    • Jared Dudley needed an X-ray on knee
Jared Dudley needed an X-ray on his knee following Friday's game.

Advice: He said he is dealing with some problems with his kneecap, which bothered him last season. Dudley hasn't played well lately and has clearly been passed by Khris Middleton. If he's out, more minutes will go to Ersan Ilyasova and Jerryd Bayless. Rotoworld.com

    • Bass plays just 20 minutes on Friday
Brandon Bass played just 20 minutes in Friday's win over the Hornets, scoring eight points on 3-of-9 shooting with seven rebounds and one block.

Advice: Bass saw his minutes clipped with Jonas Jerebko (16 points, 10 boards) playing so well tonight and that's with no Kelly Olynyk (ankle) around, too. The emergence of Jerebko is a real concern but owners might want to wait a game or two before weighing in on a drop considering Bass has been fairly productive lately. Rotoworld.com

    • Jerebko double-doubles with 16 & 10
Jonas Jerebko double-doubled off the bench on Friday, scoring 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting (including three treys) with 10 rebounds, three assists and one block in 24 minutes.

Advice: Jerebko fits the Celtics' spread attack very well and he's worth a very hard look right now. He has only averaged 16.5 minutes over his last three games, posting 12.0 points with 2.3 treys, 5.3 boards, 1.7 assists and 0.6 combined steals and blocks in that span. With the way he has looked lately, the playing time should go up. Rotoworld.com

    • Lou Amundson erupts for 17 points, 14 boards
Lou Amundson scored 17 points with 14 rebounds, two assists and three blocks during a 121-115 overtime win against the Pistons on Friday.

Advice: The Knicks frontcourt dominated against the Pistons tonight. Amundson did score 14 points in his last game on Wednesday and seems like he could be a 10-8 guy for points and boards now. He's more of a player to own in deep leagues, though. Rotoworld.com

    • Henderson holds on with solid night
Gerald Henderson scored 14 points on 6-of-12 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block on Friday.

Advice: Henderson has been a borderline value in 12-team standard leagues for the last week or so and one has to wonder how his numbers will hold up with Mo Williams around. If you want to ride him while he's moderately productive go for it, but there's not enough upside to call him a must-own player. Rotoworld.com

    • Reappearing Act: Andrea Bargnani scores 25
Andrea Bargnani turned back the clock against the Pistons on Friday with 25 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in 36 minutes.

Advice: He is clearly the first option for the Knicks on offense right now. Bargnani had a 26.9 usage rate tonight, which is a shade above his season 25.3 usage rate. Il Mago started tonight and is almost certainly going to stick. He is a tremendous injury risk and this big line tonight is unlikely to happen again, but he's worth a look in standard leagues. It's hard to believe for a guy who was possibly going to be cut. Take that, Masai Ujiri. Rotoworld.com

    • Darrell Arthur (knee) out on Friday night
Darrell Arthur (knee) will not play against the Jazz on Friday.

Advice: The Nuggets do get Kenneth Faried back, so they're not too thin at power forward. However, they're still very thin at center and will likely lean on Joffrey Lauvergne the most in their frontcourt. J.J. Hickson may also play more, but he has sort of fallen out of favor with his coach recently. Rotoworld.com

    • Bargnani, Cleanthony Early starting on Friday
Andrea Bargnani and Cleanthony Early will start on Friday night against the Pistons.

Advice: Jason Smith will move that the bench. Bargnani had a 30.7 usage rate on Wednesday, so this isn't a big surprise. He has been the main weapon in the offense when he's on the floor, but he's still injured a lot and is not shooting the ball well this season. Since his return, Bargnani averaged 10.8 points, 4.8 boards and 1.0 blocks on 39.5 percent from the field. Add him at your own risk, but letting him be someone else's problem isn't a bad idea. • Michael Beasley to come off the bench Friday
Michael Beasley will come off the bench for Friday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Beasley is in an ideal situation to produce, playing for a Miami team that has been devastated by injuries. He knows head coach Erik Spoelstra's system, and he has limited competition for minutes with Udonis Haslem as the only healthy power forward on the roster. However, Beasley has failed to produce in ideal situations before, so owners in standard leagues can use a wait-and-see approach here. Rotoworld.com

    • Darrell Arthur (calf) doubtful Friday vs. UTA
Darrell Arthur (calf strain) is being listed as doubtful for Friday's game vs. the Jazz.

Advice: Arthur only lasted three minutes during his last outing, and with season averages of 7.3 points and 3.2 rebounds on 40.8 percent shooting from the field, it's safe to leave Arthur on the wire in most leagues. With both Arthur and Jusuf Nurkic (ankle) unavailable for Friday, J.J. Hickson and Kenneth Faried are going to see heavy minutes. Rotoworld.com

    • Michael Beasley will be active Friday vs. NO
Michael Beasley will be active and available to play for Friday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Beasley hasn't been able to produce enough statistically to be considered a viable option in standard leagues for the past three seasons, and while he will have some opportunity playing for a Miami team that has been devastated by injuries, he has a long history of failing to reach his potential. Owners in standard leagues can use a wait-and-see approach here. Rotoworld.com

    • Michael Beasley to Miami Heat 3.0
The Miami Heat have signed F Michael Beasley to a 10-day contract.

Advice: While it's unlikely that Beasley will provide much fantasy value, this is a situation worth monitoring. He should be in shape as he's been playing in China and there are plenty of minutes available in the injury-depleted Heat frontcourt. There's a good chance that Beasley flames out in his third stint with the Heat, but owners in deep leagues may want to take a flier on the former No. 2 overall pick if they have an open roster spot. • Jonas Jerebko sees minutes at C for C's
Jonas Jerebko played some center during Boston's win over New York on Wednesday.

Advice: Celtics head coach Brad Stevens admitted he was "throwing darts" when he put together the lineup combination that had the 27-year-old at center, but liked what he saw. "He’s got ability to stretch the floor and he does fit well with what we’re trying to do," Stevens said. He added, "He's a big that can shoot, play the 3 or the 4, space the floor. So I like his skill set and I think he’s excited about being here." It's worth monitoring Jerebko's playing time on the rebuilding Celtics, but he's better off left on waivers for now. Rotoworld.com

    • Jason Thompson double-doubles for Karl
Jason Thompson had 10 points, 11 rebounds, a steal and four blocks on 3-of-9 shooting in Wednesday's win over Memphis for new coach George Karl.

Advice: He had zero points and four boards in his last game, but may have caught Karl's attention tonight. Just put him on your radar, as he hasn't done much from night to night this season. Rotoworld.com

    • Danilo Gallinari plays 34 minutes
Danilo Gallinari played 34 minutes against the Suns on Wednesday during a 110-96 loss with 20 points, seven rebounds, one assist, one steal, one block and five 3-pointers.

Advice: The Nuggets are losing forwards all over the place and they're going to lose another one if they play Gallo this much. That said, this is his second consecutive 20-point game and he's taking a ton of shots with at least 11 in each of his last four. Gallinari is worth grabbing in standard leagues and his owners can just worry about an injury if/when it happens. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 10:19 pm
    • Alexis Ajinca plays just 18 minutes in win
Alexis Ajinca came off the bench and played just 18 minutes on Wednesday, but still had 10 points, four rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks on 4-of-6 shooting.

Advice: The minutes don't make a lot of sense, but guys like Quincy Pondexter and Dante Cunningham played well in this one. Any time Anthony Davis is out, Ajinca still qualifies as an interesting sleeper pick. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 10:12 pm
    • Jonas Jerebko comes off bench for 20 points
Jonas Jerebko came off the bench to hit 7-of-10 shots and four 3-pointers for 20 points, five rebounds, two assists and a steal in just 21 minutes on Wednesday.

Advice: This was easily a season high for Jerebko and his best game of the year, as the Tyler Zeller was in foul trouble and the Celtics went small. Keep an eye on him, but it's highly doubtful we'll see him do this again any time soon. Especially since they were playing against the Knicks, aka the worst team in the league. Rotoworld.com

    • Andrea Bargnani making some knoise in NY
Andrea Bargnani played 25 minutes and hit 5-of-13 shots for 17 points, six rebound and two blocks in another Knicks loss.

Advice: That's four straight games in double figures for Bargs, who also has five blocks over his last five games. He's no longer a threat from downtown, and is likely to get hurt any day now, but if you need a big man and want to take a flier on him, he might be able to stay relevant for a couple more weeks or so. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 8:14 pm
    • Henry Walker hits 3-of-13 shots in 33 minutes
Henry Walker came off the bench and played 33 minutes in Wednesday's overtime win, but hit just 3-of-13 shots and 2-of-11 3-pointers for 10 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Advice: The minutes were there, but his shot wasn't. If the Heat are going to keep giving him minutes, and it looks like they plan to, he's probably worth a flier in deep leagues. He played 21 minutes and scored 11 in his Heat debut on Monday. Rotoworld.com
      Wednesday, 7:30 pm
    • Darrell Arthur (knee) out for game
Darrell Arthur (right knee) will not return on Wednesday night.

Advice: The team is calling it a strain, which usually suggests it's a muscle issue. If Arthur is out, the Nuggets will be very shorthanded. Joffrey Lauvergne and J.J. Hickson may have to play more. He finished with one point and no other stats in three minutes. Rotoworld.com

    • Brandon Bass open to returning to Celtics
Brandon Bass is set to become a free agent in the summer, but said that he is open to returning to the Celtics next season.

Advice: "If I’m wanted back then yeah, I would want to be back for sure," said Bass. "It’s been a blessing for me to be here four years, to finish out my contract here. I’m excited about that. Hopefully everything will continue to go in a positive direction." Bass has been pressed into a much larger role since Jared Sullinger went down with a season-ending stress fracture in his foot, and while his value will take a hit when Kelly Olynyk (ankle) eventually returns, Bass will probably be worth owning in most leagues for the rest of the way. • Bass taking advantage of new opportunity
Brandon Bass scored 18 points on 7-of-11 shooting with six rebounds, three assists and two steals in Monday's win over the Suns.

Advice: Bass is probably going to be a bit more inconsistent when Kelly Olynyk eventually returns, but he'll probably be worth owning for the rest of the year. Rotoworld.com

    • Ajinca scores 16 points with nine rebounds
Alexis Ajinca scored 16 points on 8-of-12 shooting with nine rebounds, two assists and one block in 27 minutes off the bench on Monday against the Raptors.

Advice: Ajinca has done surprisingly well when pressed into action for Anthony Davis or Ryan Anderson this season. And with the way those two guys are holding up these days, it's possible this current window of productivity gets extended throughout the year -- particularly if and when the Pelicans fall out of the playoff chase. • Danilo Gallinari plays 30 minutes on Monday
Danilo Gallinari played 30 minutes against the Nets during a 110-82 loss on Monday, scoring a game-high 22 points with two rebounds, one assist, two steals and three 3-pointers.

Advice: It was his third start in a row and his numbers look pretty good in that span, averaging 16.0 points, 3.0 boards, 1.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.7 treys on 42.9 percent from the field. He is one of the most injury-prone players in the NBA, but at least the production is starting to show up. He is worth a look in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • James Johnson scores 15 points vs. Pelicans
James Johnson kept things rolling along with 15 points on 7-of-10 shooting, five rebounds, one block and one triple over 35 minutes in another start on Monday against the Pelicans.

Advice: Johnson has been producing at a mid-round level for a couple of weeks now and it's possible the Raptors have realized he needs to play more. Minutes have been his only problem this season but for now he should be owned in most standard formats. Rotoworld.com

    • Darrell Arthur scores 10 in start
Darrell Arthur scored 10 points in a start at power forward on Monday with seven rebounds on 5-of-15 from the field.

Advice: He played more than expected because Kenneth Faried (hand) missed some time tonight. Arthur does have a decent ceiling because he takes shots and is solid with defensive stats. In fact, he averaged 7.4 points, 3.0 boards 1.1 blocks and 1.0 steals in his previous seven games this month. He's only worth a look in 14-team leagues. Rotoworld.com

Jared Dudley was demoted to a bench role on Monday and missed all four of his shot attempts, finishing with no points as the Bulls had no mercy on his soul.

Advice: Dudley managed two steals, one board and one assist and he has been slowly trending down over the past week. After a night like this, owners have to be thinking about a drop and if there's any slightly better than average free agent it's an easy call. Rotoworld.com

Henry Walker made his season debut on Monday with 11 points, one rebound and three 3-pointers in 21 minutes.

Advice: It was his first game since 2012 and he looked pretty good out there. Walker had a sweet dunk driving down the lane and hit a couple treys in the first quarter. He's only on a 10-day deal, but he could get another 10-day based on tonight. He's not worth owning in almost any league. Rotoworld.com

    • Darrell Arthur starts, Kenneth Faried benched
Darrell Arthur will start at power forward with Kenneth Faried coming off the bench against the Nets.

Advice: Wow. Faried has not been playing well, but this is a bold move for even Brian Shaw. Arthur probably won't play more than 24 minutes tonight even with Wilson Chandler out, so he's only worth a look in deeper leagues. Plus, he tends to get hurt a lot. Rotoworld.com

    • Heat could add another big man to the roster
The Heat could sign another player to fill its 15th roster spot, and the candidates include Thomas Robinson, Andray Blatche and Michael Beasley.

Advice: Miami is 'discussing' what to do with the roster spot, and although the team could wind up doing nothing, it sounds like they might want to bring in some more help with how thin their frontcourt is. Despite recently getting permission to work out at AmericanAirlines Arena, we don't see a Beasley reunion in the cards for the Heat. Of the three names mentioned, Blatche, who has played this season in China, would seemingly be the best fit. Rotoworld.com

    • Wesley Johnson scores 22 points off LAK bench
Wesley Johnson scored 22 points in Sunday's overtime win vs. the visiting Celtics, making 9-of-11 field goals with two 3-pointers, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Advice: Johnson's 33 minutes were the most of any Lakers player during tonight's overtime victory. Lakers coach Byron Scott has been maddeningly inconsistent with his rotations this season, and Johnson is only worth a stash in deeper leagues in case he lands a steady 30-minute role over the final eight weeks of the regular season. • Brandon Bass shoots 7-of-11 in 40 minutes
Brandon Bass pitched in 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting during Sunday's OT loss to the Lakers, playing 40 minutes in the absence of both Jared Sullinger (foot) and Kelly Olynyk (ankle).

Advice: He added five rebounds, one assist and two blocks with only one turnover. Olynyk is day-to-day but Sullinger is done for the season with a metatarsal stress fracture, giving Bass a path to sustained low-end value. Fantasy owners shouldn't expect much more than points, rebounds and nice FG and FT percentages from Bass, but he's worth scooping off the waiver wire in leagues with 12 or more teams. Rotoworld.com

    • Gerald Henderson (wrist) held to four points
Gerald Henderson played through a sore left wrist on Sunday vs. the Mavericks, finishing with only four points, three boards, two assists and one steal in 26 minutes.

Advice: This is not the same wrist that Henderson had surgery on in May and it doesn't appear that he is danger of missing any action. He doesn't contribute much beyond the occasional scoring outburst and owners in standard leagues can almost certainly do better, especially now that Mo Williams has joined the Hornets' backcourt rotation. Danilo Gallinari played well in another start on Sunday, hitting 5-of-11 shots with three 3-pointers to finish with 16 points and two rebounds in just 19 minutes.

Advice: Gallo's health will be a question mark all season, but owners might as well deploy him while he's scoring well in a starting role. Jusuf Nurkic (10 points, seven boards) led all Nuggets players with 28 minutes in Sunday's blowout, and Gallinari's low playing time should ensure that he's fresh for Monday's matchup with the Nets. • Jonas Jerebko (illness) is available Sunday
Updating a previous report, Jonas Jerebko (illness) will be available to play against the Lakers on Sunday.

Advice: Head coach Brad Stevens hinter earlier that Jerebko might not play even if he dresses, so owners should be aware of that before plugging him into lineups. There is plenty of opportunity in the Boston frontcourt now that Jared Sullinger (foot) is done for the season, so owners in deep leagues will want to monitor Jerebko closely. Rotoworld.com

    • Jonas Jerebko (illness) questionable Sunday
Jonas Jerebko (illness) is questionable to play against the Lakers on Sunday.

Advice: Head coach Brad Stevens said that Jerebko may not play even if he does dress, so owners will want to avoid this situation if possible. Jerebko could potentially carve out a decent role in Boston with Jared Sullinger (foot) out for the season, but it looks like his debut with the Celtics could be pushed back. Rotoworld.com

    • Andrea Bargnani logs season-high 28 minutes
Andrea Bargnani logged a season-high 28 minutes during Sunday's loss to the Cavs, putting up 11 points on 5-of-11 shooting with five rebounds, three assists, one block and one turnover.

Advice: Bargnani has missed his standard one-half of the regular season, so perhaps he can stay healthy for the Knicks' remaining 27 games. There's not a lot of upside here as he basically just scores inefficiently, but if you're in an extremely deep league and you're desperate for a center... well, we still wouldn't recommend adding him. • Gerald Henderson (wrist) will play Sunday
Gerald Henderson is dealing with a sore wrist but he is planning to play against the Mavericks on Sunday.

Advice: The Hornets would be forced to give more minutes to mercurial guard Lance Stephenson if Henderson ever has to miss any action, but it looks like they dodged a bullet here. Barring a late setback, Henderson should be ready to roll against the Mavericks. Rotoworld.com

    • Jonas Jerebko, Luigi Datome available Sunday
Jonas Jerebko and Luigi Datome will be available for Sunday's game vs. the Lakers.

Advice: While they'll be available to play, both Datome and Jerebko are stepping into a very crowded rotation in Boston, and they're unlikely to see major minutes during their first game with their new team. Jerebko does have a shot of getting some minutes with Jared Sullinger (foot) being ruled out for the remainder of the season, but he's very unlikely to gain any sort of relevancy in standard leagues as a bench player in Boston. • Jason Thompson doesn't score in start on Sat.
Jason Thompson moved back into the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Clippers, but he failed to score in 21 minutes of action and grabbed just four rebounds with one block.

Advice: Thompson has been pretty pathetic this season and it wouldn't be surprising to see him camping out on the bench again soon. With head coach George Karl's rotations still in flux, Thompson didn't do himself any favors tonight. Leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com

    • Omri Casspi scores 11 points with 17 boards
Omri Casspi grabbed a career-high 17 boards in Saturday's blowout loss to the Clippers, adding 11 points, one assist and one 3-pointer in 28 minutes.

Advice: After scoring seven points with 12 rebounds, six assists and one steal in 31 minutes on Friday, Casspi kept his momentum going tonight and it certainly looks like head coach George Karl is going to give him a sizable role in the rotation. With the Kings still searching for answers, Casspi is worth a speculative add in most leagues to see if he can keep it up. Rotoworld.com

    • James Johnson goes bonkers in loss
James Johnson was the lone bright spot against the Rockets on Saturday, making 10-of-16 from the field for 27 points with five rebounds, four steals and four blocks in 35 minutes.

Advice: Unless coach Dwane Casey has something against NBA players with black belts, he is running out of excuses to play Johnson. Clearly, Lou Williams not playing tonight was a factor and the matchup was right for Johnson tonight. He has such a ridiculous upside with the Raptors this season due to his 61.4 percent from the field, so it's extremely tough to leave him on the wire. Plus, Terrence Ross can't get out of his own way. Rotoworld.com
      Saturday, 9:25 pm
    • Alexis Ajinca doesn't play much
Alexis Ajinca played only 11 minutes even with the injuries to the frontcourt on Saturday, scoring eight points with three rebounds.

Advice: The Heat went small, so coach Monty Williams may have gone with smaller guys here. Ajinca's per-minute numbers are pretty good and he does have decent numbers in his two starts at power forward, averaging 11.0 points, 5.5 boards and 1.0 blocks. If you need a big man in a deeper league, give him a look. Rotoworld.com

    • Gerald Henderson has a bad game
Gerald Henderson made 2-of-10 from the field for six points with six rebounds and seven assists in 33 minutes against the Thunder on Saturday.

Advice: He did have a lot of good looks, but they just weren't falling. Henderson has made just 28.6 percent from the field in his last four and has seen his fantasy appeal fall off even in points leagues and DFS -- Michael Kidd-Gilchrist returning doesn't help. Owners in standard leagues should almost never think about adding Henderson. Rotoworld.com

    • Jason Thompson starting at PF
Jason Thompson will start in place of Carl Landry on Saturday.

Advice: Coach George Karl is trying to figure this thing out here. You can ignore this news unless you get a bonus for games started. Rotoworld.com

    • Jonas Jerebko will have a chance to impress
Jonas Jerebko and Luigi Datome will have a chance to prove whether or not they will fit into Boston's system.

Advice: "We wanted to see how those two players fit with us," Ainge said. "They’re players we’ve liked before that we watched play and develop, and we want to see how they fit in our system. We want to see how they fit with our coaches and mesh with our players. Datome is a great shooter and Jerebko is a bigger perimeter player who can do a lot of the things Kelly [Olynyk] does." While Jerebko could potentially carve out a decent role with Kelly Olynyk (ankle) and Jared Sullinger (foot) sidelined, owners in most leagues can simply use a wait-and-see approach here, as both players have a lot of work to do in order to pop up on the fantasy radar. • Johnson a DNP-CD on Friday
Wesley Johnson did not play on Friday due to coach's decision.

Advice: Johnson's value gets crushed by the fact he can get benched out of nowhere like this. If he can somehow mitigate that risk, we'll let you know. Rotoworld.com

    • Casspi posts solid line in 31 bench minutes
Omri Casspi scored seven points on 2-of-9 shooting (including a three) with 12 rebounds, six assists and one steal in 31 minutes off the bench on Friday against the Celtics.

Advice: Casspi has had a nice season when he's been on the floor and though it's early to say this with any certainty, but George Karl doesn't seem like the type that's going to overlook that like the Kings have for much of the year. It's hard to call him a strong add right now, but one more solid outing and there will be some speculative appeal. Rotoworld.com

    • Bass double-doubles with 13 and 10
Brandon Bass double-doubled with 13 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in Friday's loss to the Kings.

Advice: The Kings weren't great tonight and Kelly Olynyk (ankle) is still out, but with Jared Sullinger (foot) out for a while there is some late-round upside here for Bass. Give him a look but don't expect a lot. Rotoworld.com

    • Jared Dudley plays 41 minutes
Jared Dudley played 41 minutes against the Nuggets on Friday during an 89-81 win, scoring 11 points with eight boards, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer.

Advice: With Ghostface Ilya (illness) continuing to be an anti-Ironman, Dudley picked up some extra run. Dudley's numbers aren't great this month, averaging 10.7 points, 2.9 boards, 2.1 assists, 0.7 steals and 2.0 treys on 52.8 percent from the field. He's still a low-end guy to own for those who missed out on the wave of pickups from this week. Rotoworld.com

    • Danilo Gallinari plays 36 minutes vs. Bucks
Danilo Gallinari played 36 minutes against the Bucks on Friday during his start at shooting guard, making 3-of-12 from the field for 10 points, five rebounds, two assists, four steals and two 3-pointers.

Advice: It was by far his most playing time in a game this season. The Nuggets are really going to be playing with fire if they play him this much considering his numerous knee injuries in the past three seasons. Still, maybe they ride him until the wheels fall off. He is only making 34 percent from the field this season, so we wouldn't suggest adding him for something you're going to miss. Rotoworld.com

    • Andrea Bargnani scores 11 points
Andrea Bargnani scored 11 points against the Heat on Friday with six rebounds and one assist in 24 minutes.

Advice: Believe it or not, he hasn't been hurt for three games in a row. He is basically just putting up points on awful efficiency, so Il Mago doesn't really have any fantasy magic left. If you're in a 50-team league, give him a look. Rotoworld.com

    • Johnson steals two, blocks two vs. Hawks
James Johnson scored seven points on 3-of-4 shooting with four rebounds, two steals and two blocks over 19 minutes in Friday's road win over the Hawks.

Advice: This is a James Johnson line if we've seen one, though he didn't knock in a lonely three. Minutes are a problem but production is not right now, so go ahead and ride him while he's hot. Rotoworld.com

    • Ajinca back to irrelevant with Davis back
Alexis Ajinca managed just two points on 1-of-3 shooting with one rebound, one assist and one block in 10 minutes on Friday.

Advice: Ajinca is back to irrelevant with the Pelicans frontcourt healthy. Rotoworld.com

    • Jonas Jerebko not with the Celtics yet
Jonas Jerebko will not play against the Kings on Friday.

Advice: He will join the team in Los Angeles for Sunday's game. Jerebko will likely get minutes, but he's not very effective at filling the stat sheet. Just watch him for now. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 5:39 pm
    • James Johnson starting again on Friday
James Johnson will start against the Hawks on Friday.

Advice: It'll be his third start in a row. Johnson is capable of putting up huge numbers, but he is not a lock for 20 minutes right now. Although, he could be a nice matchup tonight and may guard Paul Millsap as the game goes on. Keep an eye on him. Rotoworld.com
      Friday, 3:16 pm
    • Jonas Jerebko could get minutes for Boston
Jonas Jerebko is expected to get minutes for the Celtics, but is not expected to play on Friday night against the Kings.

Advice: The Celtics are paper thin up front with Jared Sullinger (leg) out indefinitely and Kelly Olynyk (ankle) day-to-day. Jerebko isn't a strong rebounder and a whopping 68.2 percent of his shots come without a dribble, so it's hard to imagine him behind highly involved in the offense. Keep an eye on him in deep leagues, though. Rotoworld.com

    • Henry Walker not available for Heat Friday
Henry Walker (formerly known as Bill Walker) will not play for the Heat on Friday.

Advice: He's joining the Heat on a 10-day contract, but won't play tonight. With Chris Bosh also out of action for Miami, look for a heavy dose of Hassan Whiteside, Udonis Haslem, Luol Deng, James Ennis and Chris Andersen. Rotoworld.com

    • Report: Heat sign Henry Walker to 10-day deal
The Heat have reportedly signed swingman Henry Walker (former Bill Walker) to a 10-day contract.

Advice: Miami currently has two open roster spots following Thursday's trade that netted them the Dragic brothers, however, Walker has been out of the NBA since the 2011-12 season, and he's extremely unlikely to offer any fantasy value to any teams. Leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com

    • Danilo Gallinari to start at SG for Nuggets
The Nuggets will start Danilo Gallinari at shooting guard following Thursday's trade of Arron Afflalo.

Advice: Coach Brian Shaw is going to go big with a lineup of Ty Lawson, Gallo, Wilson Chandler, Kenneth Faried and Jusuf Nurkic. "Give [Gallinari] an opportunity as a starter, as least for now, to see what that looks like and see if that helps his confidence and his timing," Shaw said. Once one of the game's promising young players, Gallinari has struggled badly since a freak knee injury late in the 2013 season. We'd therefore keep expectations in check, especially with Randy Foye and Gary Harris ready to rock off the bench. Still, Gallo is a good bet to help owners in the 3-point category for now. • Brandon Bass staying put?
Brandon Bass is expected to stay put with the Celtics unless he pushes for a buyout.

Advice: He's likely going to see major minutes with Kelly Olynyk (ankle) and Jared Sullinger (leg) out for Friday. Bass doesn't have a huge ceiling, but he should get enough playing time to accrue enough points and boards for most fantasy owners. There are still a lot of better adds from today, so he's not a must-add player or anything. Rotoworld.com
      Thursday, 5:33 pm
    • Jonas Jerebko traded to the Celtics
Jonas Jerebko was traded to the Celtics on Thursday.

Advice: He was playing just 10.5 minutes per game in February and had two DNPs. Jerebko is probably not going to be in the rotation with the Celtics and can be left on the wire. Rotoworld.com

    • Andrea Bargnani will have to score more?
Phil Jackson said the Knicks may need Andrea Bargnani to score more.

Advice: Oh boy. Bargnani has been a disaster this season. He has a very high usage rate of 27.8 on the season, but he's only made 36.4 percent from the field and we all know about his "defense" recently. The Knicks are going to need all the help they can get, but fantasy owners can leave Bargnani on the wire due to his ineffective play and injury risk. Rotoworld.com
