      Advice: LeVert got the starting nod with the Cavaliers playing without Jarrett Allen (ribs) and Donovan Mitchell (calf), providing a lift offensively while ending one point shy of the 20-point mark in a losing effort. LeVert has been a key player coming off the bench for Cleveland this series, posting 15 or more points in three of the four games against Boston. If Mitchell is able to return for Game 5, look for LeVert to return to the second unit to be a spark off the bench.       Advice: Even though Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray get most of the attention for carrying Denver back from an 0-2 deficit, Gordon's performance Sunday can't be overlooked. He became the first player in NBA history to put up at least 27 points, seven rebounds and six assists while shooting 90 percent or better from the field in a playoff game.       Aaron Gordon finished Sunday’s win over Minnesota with 27 points on 11-of-12 shooting, adding seven rebounds, six assists, a steal, two blocks and a pair of triples across 41 minutes.

      Advice: Gordon had himself a night on Sunday, missing only one shot en route to a monster scoring performance. His 27 points are tied for the second-most in his playoff career, bested only by the 29 he dropped in Game 3 of the first-round series with Los Angeles. Gordon finished behind only Nikola Jokic (35 points) for the team lead in scoring in this one, and the 62 combined points from the two big men fueled Denver to a big win.       Giddey closed Thursday's 119-110 loss to the Mavericks in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals with eight points (3-6 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT) and two rebounds over 11 minutes.

      Advice: Giddey's minutes continue to decrease with each passing game, and it wouldn't be surprising if he moves to a bench role ahead of Game 3 given how much he's struggled on both ends of the court. He delivered good numbers against the Pelicans, but in the two outings against Dallas, he's averaging 5.0 points while shooting 40 percent from the floor across 14 minutes.       Josh Giddey played 11 minutes in Thursday’s loss to the Mavericks, accounting for eight points (3-of-6 FGs, 2-of-2 FTs) and two rebounds.

      Advice: If the first two games of this series are any indication, this may not be the series for Giddey. After logging 17 minutes in Tuesday’s Game 1 victory, he played 11 in Game 2, with Aaron Wiggins starting the third quarter. Wiggins, who finished with nine points, two rebounds, one block, and one 3-pointer, can serve as another floor spacer to open up driving lanes for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams. Giddey, whom Mavericks center Daniel Gafford sometimes defended, does not possess that ability. Don’t be surprised if Giddey continues to lose minutes to Wiggins and Cason Wallace (six points, three rebounds, one assist, and two steals in 21 minutes) moving forward. LeVert didn't connect on a three but still ended tied for second on the team in scoring to go along with a half-dozen rebounds and a trio of assists. LeVert had a bounce-back game after recording just four points in Tuesday's Game 1, playing a big part in Cleveland being able to steal a game on the road as it now returns home to try and take a lead in the series.       Caris LeVert amassed 21 points (9-of-17 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, and three assists in 27 minutes in Thursday’s 118-94 win over the Celtics.

      Advice: Cleveland returns home tied at one game apiece, thanks partially to the “others” stepping up their production. After shooting 2-of-6 from the field and scoring four points in Game 1, LeVert was a huge factor off the bench on Thursday. He remains cold from beyond the arc (0-of-3 in Game 2, 1-of-12 over his last six games), but the Cavaliers sixth man was 9-of-14 from two. Boston played poorly on Thursday, but LeVert and the Cavaliers had much to do with that. Game 2 was the formula for Cleveland regarding their ability to win this series; the question is whether they can do this three more times. Game 3 is on Saturday night.       Advice: Gordon played with tons of energy and tried to spark the rest of the team throughout the game, but his efforts were unsuccessful. This game snapped a three-game streak of Gordon not being able to reach double-digit figures in the scoring column, and Gordon needs to remain a valuable offensive alternative for the Nuggets if they want to have a shot at turning the series around, especially given the struggles of both Jamal Murray and Michael Porter.
