    • DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) doubtful Sunday
DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) is considered doubtful for Sunday's game vs. Portland.

Advice: While he wasn't able to practice on Saturday, he was able to get a few shots up afterwards. Cousins was held out of Friday's game vs. the Spurs, and with the Kings going nowhere in the Western Conference, they will probably err on the side of caution Sunday. Jason Thompson is coming off a double-double and would be worth a look in daily leagues if Cousins sits, while Carl Landry and Reggie Evans will see increased roles as well. Expect another update after shootaround Sunday morning. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMarre Carroll out on Saturday nigth
DeMarre Carroll will not play against the Heat on Saturday.

Advice: He is just getting some rest, which the Hawks also did back in January. With Carroll out, we should see a little more of Kent Bazemore on the wing, especially with Thabo Sefoloha (calf) out. Rotoworld.com

    • Cleanthony Early is starting again on Sat
The Knicks are starting Langston Galloway, Cleanthony Early, Tim Hardaway Jr., Lou Amundson and Andrea Bargnani on Saturday against the Raptors.

Advice: Early played poorly on Friday and it'll likely be Shane Larkin picking up most of the playing time. Early is not worth owning in almost any league right now. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMarcus Cousins doesn't practice on Saturday
DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) did not practice on Saturday and he is up in the air for Sunday against the Blazers.

Advice: He tried to play through his ankle sprain from Wednesday and it's apparently costing him playing time. The Kings will likely update Cousins again tomorrow morning, but he should be considered questionable for now. With Cousins out on Friday, Jason Thompson double-doubled and Ben McLemore also stepped up with 21 points. Both should have a similar chance to perform sans DMC. Rotoworld.com

    • Jose Calderon (Achilles) out for Saturday
Jose Calderon (Achilles) will not play on Saturday against the Raptors.

Advice: An MRI revealed he has a strain in his Achilles and it's fair to assume he's going to miss multiple games. Calderon said he doesn't want to shut it down, but he's usually taken a long time to recover from injuries. With Calderon out, Shane Larkin is going to benefit most, but he's still not worth grabbing in standard leagues. Langston Galloway will also have more opportunity. Rotoworld.com

    • Taj Gibson (ankle) doubtful for Sunday vs. LA
Taj Gibson (ankle) is doubtful to play against the Clippers on Sunday.

Advice: He had a limp leaving the arena on Friday night and he's also been dealing with his left ankle issues fro much of this season. The last time he had ankle problems, Gibson needed to miss four games, but of course every injury is different. The Bulls moved Nikola Mirotic back to power forward, which actually led to some bigger production out of Mike Dunleavy. Considering the upside, Mirotic is worth a look in standard leagues. • Wes Johnson hopes to remain a Laker
With free agency looming, Wes Johnson is hopeful that he will remain with the Lakers.

Advice: "I want to definitely stay here," said Johnson. "I like coach [Byron] Scott and the whole coaching staff. I love it here. I definitely want to be a part of when they get back." Johnson has struggled to show any kind of consistency since entering the NBA, and that story hasn't changed in Los Angeles. Johnson has averages of 9.5 points, 3.8 boards, 1.7 assists and 1.2 3-pointers in 29.0 minutes per game this season, but his role varies on a nightly basis. Until Johnson can string together a few good performances, he belongs on the waiver wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Greg Monroe noncommittal over free agency
Greg Monroe was noncommittal when asked about his thoughts on becoming a free agent in this summer.

Advice: "I'm not thinking about it right now, honestly," Monroe said before Friday's loss to the Knicks. "I’m focusing on what I have to do for this team. It’s something down the line. When I get to that point, I’ll always make the right decision for me and my family, but right now I’m just focusing what I have to do here." The Knicks are among the teams said to be interested in prying Monroe away from Detroit in the summer, and after averaging 15.6 points, 10.5 boards and 2.0 assists per game this season, it's clear that Monroe will have plenty of suitors. • Ilyasova drops 17 and 12 onto the Lakers
Ersan Ilyasova scored 17 points on 5-of-10 shooting (1-of-4 3PTs, 6-of-8 FTs) with 12 rebounds and one steal in Friday's loss to the Lakers.

Advice: Ilyasova has been a top 70-100 value (9/8 cat) in his last four games, a sample that has more or less been his ceiling this season. Perhaps he's ready to turn over a new leaf, but realistically he can't be considered more than a flier pickup until he shows us a bit more. Rotoworld.com

    • Jack cools off, Williams plays a bit better
Jarrett Jack hit just 2-of-9 shots for four points, one rebound, five assists, one steal and one block in 23 minutes off the bench on Friday.

Advice: Deron Williams started and wasn't great, hitting just 6-of-15 shots for 15 points and three assists, though he did have five boards and three steals in his 34 minutes. The Nets are going to give Williams every chance to get himself right, but Jack has been the better player for most of the season. Hang onto Jack while this gets sorted out. Rotoworld.com

    • Wes Matthews hurts hand, doesn't need X-ray
Wesley Matthews hurt his hand on Friday and said he doesn't need an X-ray.

Advice: The injury occurred late in the game, so he didn't have to play through it. Matthews didn't play well tonight, making 2-of-13 from the field for eight points with six rebounds, three assists, three steals, one block and two 3-pointers. He should be ready to roll for the Kings on Sunday. Rotoworld.com

    • Bass plays just 20 minutes on Friday
Brandon Bass played just 20 minutes in Friday's win over the Hornets, scoring eight points on 3-of-9 shooting with seven rebounds and one block.

Advice: Bass saw his minutes clipped with Jonas Jerebko (16 points, 10 boards) playing so well tonight and that's with no Kelly Olynyk (ankle) around, too. The emergence of Jerebko is a real concern but owners might want to wait a game or two before weighing in on a drop considering Bass has been fairly productive lately. Rotoworld.com

    • Turner posts a dud in win over Hornets
Evan Turner managed just two points on 1-of-5 shooting with six rebounds and seven assists in 30 minutes on Friday.

Advice: Turner didn't have a three, steal or block per usual, and he's the guy whose minutes are likely to take a hit with others excelling. Outside of strict points leagues he hasn't been worth much, and owners can find something better on the wire in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Jerebko double-doubles with 16 & 10
Jonas Jerebko double-doubled off the bench on Friday, scoring 16 points on 6-of-9 shooting (including three treys) with 10 rebounds, three assists and one block in 24 minutes.

Advice: Jerebko fits the Celtics' spread attack very well and he's worth a very hard look right now. He has only averaged 16.5 minutes over his last three games, posting 12.0 points with 2.3 treys, 5.3 boards, 1.7 assists and 0.6 combined steals and blocks in that span. With the way he has looked lately, the playing time should go up. Rotoworld.com

    • Amir Johnson scores eight off bench
Amir Johnson moved to the bench against the Warriors on Friday with eight points, four rebounds and three assists and one turnover.

Advice: He hasn't been playing well on offense, but he should still get close to 26.6 minutes per game. Johnson has put up some underwhelming numbers in February, averaging 7.7 points, 5.7 boards, 1.1 steals and 0.6 steals. He's not worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Cleanthony Early scores two in start
Cleanthony Early scored two points in a start against the Pistons on Friday with two rebounds, one steal and one block.

Advice: He only played 20 minutes and this was not an encouraging game for him. Early had high hopes at the first sign of Carmelo Anthony missing time back in 2014, but it's just not happening. Leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com

Channing Frye hit 3-of-10 shots (3-of-8 from deep) for 10 points, three rebounds, three assists, one steal and two blocks over 24 minutes in Friday's loss to the Hawks.

Advice: Frye has provided some late-round value over the last week but as you expand the sample he has been a mess for fantasy owners. Feel free to give him a look but he comes with no guarantees at this point. Rotoworld.com

    • Taj Gibson (ankle) out for game on Friday
Taj Gibson went to the locker room on Friday with an ankle sprain and will not return.

Advice: He can't seem to shake these ankle sprains. Gibson was all set for a big night tonight and hopefully will return to action soon. If he doesn't it'll be Nikola Mirotic logging major playing time. Considering Miro's upside, he is well worth a speculative add in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

Jose Calderon (Achilles) is getting an MRI on Saturday.

Advice: It sounds like he'll miss some time here and he can be dropped in most leagues. Calderon probably isn't out for the year, but he hasn't played well enough to stash. Langston Galloway will run the point while Cleanthony Early moves into the starting lineup. Rotoworld.com

Cleanthony Early will start on Friday against the Pistons.

Advice: He's basically taking Jose Calderon (Achilles) spot with Langston Galloway sliding over to the point. Early has been a disaster this season, so fantasy owners can keep him on the wire in most leagues. We'll let you know how he fares tonight considering he has some upside. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) ruled out for Friday
DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) will not play against the Spurs on Friday.

Advice: That's a lot of offense to replace with Boogie posting a ridiculous 37.3 usage rate since George Karl took over. Plus, he's on pace to have the highest usage rate for a center in a season ever (among qualifiers for minutes per game). With Boogie out, the Kings are likely going to give his minutes to a combination of Carl Landry, Reggie Evans and Jason Thompson. However, Rudy Gay will likely be very busy tonight and Ben McLemore will also try to build off his 16-point game from Wednesday. Gay will also play a lot of PF, so there are more minutes for Omri Casspi. Rotoworld.com

    • Karl wants Cousins to cut down on the TOs
Kings' head coach George Karl would like DeMarcus Cousins to cut down on the turnovers.

Advice: "I talked to [DeMarcus] about his turnovers," Karl said. "He leads the league in turnovers (4.4 per game), and we’d like to challenge him the last 25, 30 games of the season to have much better decision making." Cousins has been careless at times with the ball this season, so it's nice that his coach is challenging him to be better. He’s hitting career-highs in points (23.7), rebounds (12.2), assists (3.3), and blocks (1.7) this season, so a reduction in turnovers could only help his already elite value. Rotoworld.com

    • Calderon rules out shutting down for season
Jose Calderon is not considering shutting it down for the season after his latest Achilles injury.

Advice: Calderon is currently in a walking boot and is listed as doubtful for Friday's game vs. the Pistons, but it's great to see him eager to return to action despite the Knicks fighting the 76ers for last place in the Eastern Conference. Langston Galloway will be the primary beneficiary if Calderon misses time, while Shane Larkin (illness) could get some increased run as well. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMarcus Cousins (ankle, hip) doubtful Friday
DeMarcus Cousins (left ankle sprain, left hip contusion) is doubtful for Friday's game against the Spurs.

Advice: He was unable to practice on Thursday because of these injuries, and we would be shocked if he was able to give it a go on Friday with the Kings going absolutely nowhere in the Western Conference. We will update his status when we know more, but Rudy Gay is going to be a busy man on offense for the Kings if Cousins sits. Jason Thompson, Reggie Evans and Carl Landry will likely all see a bump in minutes on Friday, but none of them are viable options in standard leagues for now. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) questionable Friday
DeMarcus Cousins (left ankle) was unable to practice on Thursday, and head coach George Karl said he was unsure if Cousins would be able to go Friday vs. the Spurs.

Advice: This is the first we're hearing of an ankle injury for Cousins, and we'll continue to monitor this situation closely. If he's unable to go on Friday, Ryan Hollins or Reggie Evans would have the opportunity to slide into the starting lineup. It's worth noting that Hollins picked up a DNP-CD during the Kings' last game, while Evans logged 27 minutes, so he seems to be ahead of Hollins in the rotation. Evans is capable of hauling in gaudy rebounding totals, and he'll be a name to watch if listed as the starter on Friday. Rotoworld.com

Jose Calderon (Achilles) was seen wearing a walking boot during Thursday's practice, and he is being listed as doubtful for Friday's game vs. the Pistons.

Advice: With the Knicks playing for draft picks, it's very unlikely that Calderon would play at less than 100 percent, and we fully expect him to sit out of Friday's game. Langston Galloway and Alexey Shved will likely split minutes at the point guard position with Calderon unavailable, and Galloway would make for the best plug-and-play option in daily leagues. DeMarcus Cousins was not untouchable at the trade deadline, according to an unnamed source familiar with Kings head coach George Karl's thinking.

Advice: We'll take the unnamed source with a grain of salt, but according to said source, "At the trade deadline, everyone was available. Every single person [on the Kings roster] was available." Karl does not hold a front office title, but the same source said Karl has control of future personnel decisions and would be interested in acquiring Ty Lawson if he becomes available in the offseason. • Jonas Jerebko sees minutes at C for C's
Jonas Jerebko played some center during Boston's win over New York on Wednesday.

Advice: Celtics head coach Brad Stevens admitted he was "throwing darts" when he put together the lineup combination that had the 27-year-old at center, but liked what he saw. "He’s got ability to stretch the floor and he does fit well with what we’re trying to do," Stevens said. He added, "He's a big that can shoot, play the 3 or the 4, space the floor. So I like his skill set and I think he’s excited about being here." It's worth monitoring Jerebko's playing time on the rebuilding Celtics, but he's better off left on waivers for now. Rotoworld.com

    • Wesley Matthews bounces back with 31
Wesley Matthews, who missed all seven of his shots and scored four points on Sunday, got it back on Wednesday, hitting 11-of-18 shots and four 3-pointers for 31 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals in a win over the Spurs.

Advice: Yes! Arron Afflalo scored 10 points off the bench, and owners who were scared that Afflalo's presence would ruin Matthews should be feeling much better about things after this performance. And yes, he just went from a season low in scoring to a season high in back-to-back games, which is pretty hard for fantasy studs to do at this point in the season. Rotoworld.com

    • Jarrett Jack back in action for Nets
Jarrett Jack returned from a hamstring injury on Wednesday and had 15 points, three rebounds, three assists and a 3-pointer on 5-of-12 shooting in 28 minutes.

Advice: Jack may or may not replace Deron Williams as the starting point guard, or could end up replacing Markel Brown at shooting guard. Either way, he's proven his worth to the Nets and they're going to need him to play minutes if they're going to stay in the No. 8 hole in the East. Rotoworld.com

    • Ersan Ilyasova plays 23 minutes on Wed
Ersan Ilyasova played 23 minutes against the 76ers on Wednesday with 11 points, six rebounds, one assists and one 3-pointer.

Advice: After playing 35 minutes on Monday, his value actually didn't fall off a cliff today. Coach Jason Kidd seems to be gaining confidence in Ilyasova, but he's missed a lot of games and has basically been in a slump for two seasons. Fantasy owners in FAAB leagues will need to have bulletproof wallets to pay up for Ghostface Ilya. Rotoworld.com

Jonas Jerebko came off the bench to hit 7-of-10 shots and four 3-pointers for 20 points, five rebounds, two assists and a steal in just 21 minutes on Wednesday.

Advice: This was easily a season high for Jerebko and his best game of the year, as the Tyler Zeller was in foul trouble and the Celtics went small. Keep an eye on him, but it's highly doubtful we'll see him do this again any time soon. Especially since they were playing against the Knicks, aka the worst team in the league. Rotoworld.com

    • Evan Turner triple-doubles in win
Evan Turner hit 5-of-9 shots for 10 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in 34 minutes in another start on Wednesday.

Advice: Turner is never going to blow you away with his ability to shoot or score, and is hitting just 34 percent of his shots over his last five games, to go along with 10.2 points. But when you consider he's also averaging 7.6 rebounds, 8.6 assists and 1.4 steals over that stretch, owners have learned to live with the parts of his game that stink. Rotoworld.com

    • Jose Calderon out with Achilles soreness
Jose Calderon is dealing with Achilles soreness and will not return on Wednesday.

Advice: He said the Achilles issue has been bothering him for weeks. The Knicks went with the Alexey Shved and Langston Galloway backcourt to close out this game, which tells you all you need to know about the state of that team right now. Calderon tends to miss a lot of time with injuries, so he might miss games. We still wouldn't suggest adding Shved or Galloway in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

Taj Gibson (illness) and Kirk Hinrich (illness) are expected to play on Wednesday vs. the Hornets.

Advice: Gibson didn't play against the Bucks on Monday and was limited to a stationary bike at practice on Tuesday, so it's probably fair to say that he still isn't 100 percent. That being said, Gibson is a must-start option when he is active and owners can go ahead and pencil him into active lineups for tonight's game. Brandon Bass is set to become a free agent in the summer, but said that he is open to returning to the Celtics next season.

Advice: "If I’m wanted back then yeah, I would want to be back for sure," said Bass. "It’s been a blessing for me to be here four years, to finish out my contract here. I’m excited about that. Hopefully everything will continue to go in a positive direction." Bass has been pressed into a much larger role since Jared Sullinger went down with a season-ending stress fracture in his foot, and while his value will take a hit when Kelly Olynyk (ankle) eventually returns, Bass will probably be worth owning in most leagues for the rest of the way. • Cleanthony Early dealing with an ankle sprain
Cleanthony Early is dealing with a new ankle sprain, leaving his status uncertain for Wednesday's game vs. Boston.

Advice: Lance Thomas (groin) will not play on Wednesday night, meaning players such as Travis Wear, Quincy Acy and Tim Hardaway Jr. could be in the mix for big minutes vs. the Celtics. Early isn't a reliable option in deeper leagues even when he is healthy, so owners cans safely leave him on the wire. Check back closer to tip-off for the latest updates. Rotoworld.com

    • Amir Johnson struggles in 19 minutes Tuesday
Amir Johnson got into early foul trouble on Tuesday, finishing a 92-99 loss to the Thunder with only six points, six rebounds, one steal, one block and three turnovers in 19 minutes.

Advice: The fouls didn't help his cause, but Johnson is averaging only 26.7 minutes and he's been fighting through a variety of nagging injuries all season. He's worth holding for help with rebounds, defensive stats and especially FG percentage, but nobody should be expecting a late-season surge from the Raptors' 10-year veteran. Rotoworld.com

    • Jarrett Jack will play limited minutes Wed.
Nets' head coach Lionel Hollins said that Jarrett Jack (hamstring) will play limited minutes off the bench for Wednesday's game vs. New Orleans.

Advice: It's unclear at this point whether Hollins is easing Jack back into the rotation, or if Deron Williams has secured his spot in the starting lineup, and this is a situation we will continue to monitor closely. While Jack is set to return to action on Wednesday, owners should consider benching him as it's unlikely he'll be able to offer much statistically playing limited minutes in a bench role. • Jarrett Jack (hamstring) probable Wednesday
Jarrett Jack (hamstring) took part in Tuesday's practice, and he is being listed as probable for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.

Advice: There's no word on whether or not he'll retake his place in the starting lineup upon his return, but Deron Williams has certainly given Jack a run for his money after putting up two consecutive double digit assist outings in his last two games. We'll be monitoring this situation closely, but if Jack does return to the starting lineup, Williams' value will take a sizable hit. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

Taj Gibson (illness) was limited to riding a stationary bike during Tuesday's practice, but head coach Tom Thibodeau sounded optimistic about Gibson being able to play Wednesday vs. Charlotte.

    • Turner holding onto his role with IT in town
Evan Turner logged 32 minutes on Monday against the Suns, scoring 10 points on 4-of-8 shooting (including a three) with eight rebounds, four assists and one steal.

Advice: By now you know the story with Turner, whose value is depressed in standard leagues due to poor efficiency and bad peripherals. So far the arrival of Isaiah Thomas hasn't hit him yet, but Turner didn't look all that great tonight and there's really no need for him to facilitate the offense with Thomas around. He's really only worth owning in points leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Ilyasova with 15 & 11 and a full stat line
Ersan Ilyasova started in Monday's loss to the Bulls, scoring 15 points on 6-of-16 shooting with 11 rebounds, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers in 35 minutes.

    • Ersan Ilyasova to start, Jared Dudley benched
Ersan Ilyasova will start at power forward against the Bulls on Monday and Jared Dudley will come off the bench.

Advice: Chances are this is a matchup-based move for the Bucks. Ilyasova has not played more more than 18 minutes in any game this month and averaged only 5.2 points, 1.8 boards and 0.2 blocks in that span. He can be left on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

Jarrett Jack (hamstring) will not play against the Nuggets on Monday.

Advice: Jack was doubtful on Sunday, so it would have taken a miracle to see him out there on Monday. Former franchise face Deron Williams will draw another start, and he gets to do it against the dumpster fire that is the Denver Nuggets. D-Will started the last game against the Lakers and went for 12 points, four rebounds, 15 assists, two steals and a block (five turnovers) in just under 40 minutes. Advice: Gibson has played well over his last few contests, so the Bulls will have to lean a little harder on both Joakim Noah and Pau Gasol in this one. It's also conceivable both Nikola Mirotic gets some increased run, as well. Rotoworld.com

    • Evan Turner hands out season-high 12 assists
Evan Turner finished Sunday's OT defeat with 12 points on 5-of-19 shooting, six rebounds and a season-high 12 assists.

Advice: He added two steals while turning the ball over four times in 36 minutes of action. Fantasy owners should view this line skeptically for numerous reasons -- he did this against the Lakers' lackluster defense, Isaiah Thomas was ejected during his Celts' debut off the bench, and Turner is now a combined 23-of-90 from the field over his past nine games (25.6 percent). • Wesley Johnson scores 22 points off LAK bench
Wesley Johnson scored 22 points in Sunday's overtime win vs. the visiting Celtics, making 9-of-11 field goals with two 3-pointers, five rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Advice: Johnson's 33 minutes were the most of any Lakers player during tonight's overtime victory. Lakers coach Byron Scott has been maddeningly inconsistent with his rotations this season, and Johnson is only worth a stash in deeper leagues in case he lands a steady 30-minute role over the final eight weeks of the regular season. • Brandon Bass shoots 7-of-11 in 40 minutes
Brandon Bass pitched in 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting during Sunday's OT loss to the Lakers, playing 40 minutes in the absence of both Jared Sullinger (foot) and Kelly Olynyk (ankle).

Advice: He added five rebounds, one assist and two blocks with only one turnover. Olynyk is day-to-day but Sullinger is done for the season with a metatarsal stress fracture, giving Bass a path to sustained low-end value. Fantasy owners shouldn't expect much more than points, rebounds and nice FG and FT percentages from Bass, but he's worth scooping off the waiver wire in leagues with 12 or more teams. Rotoworld.com

    • Wesley Matthews shoots 0-of-7 in loss to MEM
Wesley Matthews struggled vs. the Grizzlies on Sunday, shooting 0-of-7 from the field and 4-of-4 from the FT line to finish with four points in Portland's home loss.

Advice: Matthews is shooting 45.4 percent overall this season, which is impressive considering far more than half of his attempts come from downtown. He's averaging 16.3 points with career-highs in triples (3.0) and rebounds (3.6), and remains a steady top-60 option despite occasional duds like Sunday. Rotoworld.com

• Channing Frye scores 15 pts w/ three triples
Channing Frye got hot vs. the Sixers on Sunday, hitting 6-of-10 shots with three 3-pointers to finish with 15 points, three boards and one block in just 21 minutes.

Advice: Frye said he's still "getting used to this new offense" under interim coach James Borrego, who seems content starting Frye at PF ahead of Aaron Gordon (10 minutes), Kyle O'Quinn (DNP-CD) or Andrew Nicholson (four minutes). Frye's 3-point shooting gives him instant specialist appeal, and he contributes just enough in other categories to warrant attention in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Jonas Jerebko (illness) is available Sunday
Updating a previous report, Jonas Jerebko (illness) will be available to play against the Lakers on Sunday.

Advice: Head coach Brad Stevens hinter earlier that Jerebko might not play even if he dresses, so owners should be aware of that before plugging him into lineups. There is plenty of opportunity in the Boston frontcourt now that Jared Sullinger (foot) is done for the season, so owners in deep leagues will want to monitor Jerebko closely. Rotoworld.com

    • Jonas Jerebko (illness) questionable Sunday
Jonas Jerebko (illness) is questionable to play against the Lakers on Sunday.

Advice: Head coach Brad Stevens said that Jerebko may not play even if he does dress, so owners will want to avoid this situation if possible. Jerebko could potentially carve out a decent role in Boston with Jared Sullinger (foot) out for the season, but it looks like his debut with the Celtics could be pushed back. Rotoworld.com

    • Greg Monroe double-doubles in win over WAS
Greg Monroe double-doubled during Sunday's win over the Wizards, putting up 15 points (6-of-16 from the field, 3-of-6 from the stripe), with 15 rebounds, three steals, two assists and two turnovers over 37 minutes of action.

Advice: While the efficiency was an issue tonight, that's not a regular occurrence for Monroe. He's averaging 16.1 points, 10.3 rebounds and 1.7 steals on 51.7 percent shooting through the month of February, and he'll look to have a strong second-half to the season as Detroit fights for the final playoff spot in the East. • Jose Calderon horrible in 28 mins of action
Jose Calderon had another atrocious outing during Sunday's blowout loss to the Cavs, scoring just four points on 2-of-9 shooting to go with two rebounds, two assists, and three turnovers over 28 minutes of action.

Advice: Calderon, a pass-first point guard, is having trouble being effective on a team with no one to pass to. The Knicks are simply awful, and as a team they are shooting an unflattering 43.5 percent from the field. Calderon's situation isn't going to get any better, and with season averages of just 9.3 points, 4.7 assists, and 1.5 three-pointers on 42.6 percent shooting from the field, he's certainly a drop-candidate in standard leagues. • Jarrett Jack (hamstring) doubtful for Monday
Jarrett Jack (hamstring) did not practice on Sunday, and he is being listed as doubtful for Monday's game against the Nuggets.

Advice: It's looking like Deron Williams is going to get another game to prove to head coach Lionel Hollins that he belongs in the starting lineup, and he'll draw a favorable matchup vs. Denver. Jack said that he is hopeful to give it a go for Wednesday's game against New Orleans, so it seems safe to assume he won't be available on Monday. For what it's worth, Jack said that he would try and play if it were the seventh game of a series. Rotoworld.com

    • Ersan Ilyasova (illness) available for Sunday
Ersan Ilyasova (illness) will be available off the bench for Sunday's game against the Hawks.

Advice: The opportunity is certainly there for Ilyasova to produce with his only competition for playing time going by the names of John Henson and Johnny O'Bryant, however his propensity to find himself on the sidelines due to various injuries really hurts his upside. He's averaging just 8.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game this season, so it would probably be best to use a wait-and-see approach here. Rotoworld.com

    • Jonas Jerebko, Luigi Datome available Sunday
Jonas Jerebko and Luigi Datome will be available for Sunday's game vs. the Lakers.

Advice: While they'll be available to play, both Datome and Jerebko are stepping into a very crowded rotation in Boston, and they're unlikely to see major minutes during their first game with their new team. Jerebko does have a shot of getting some minutes with Jared Sullinger (foot) being ruled out for the remainder of the season, but he's very unlikely to gain any sort of relevancy in standard leagues as a bench player in Boston. • Ersan Ilyasova (illness) is available Sunday
Ersan Ilyasova (illness) is available to play against the Hawks on Sunday according to head coach Jason Kidd.

Advice: Ersan was able to practice on Saturday, but he has simply been too inconsistent to use outside of deeper leagues. With season averages of 8.8 points and 3.5 boards in just 17.5 minutes per game, so it's probably best to leave him on the wire. Rotoworld.com

    • Cleanthony Early benched on Sunday vs. Cavs
Cleanthony Early will shift to the bench for Sunday's game vs. the Cavaliers with Lance Thomas set to replace him.

Advice: In his first career start at small forward on Friday, Early scored just two points on 1-of-7 shooting so clearly the rookie still has a long way to go in his development. Early is more of a stash in deeper leagues in case he ever turns things around, while Thomas' game doesn't translate to fantasy very well. Owners in standard leagues shouldn't even concern themselves with this situation. Rotoworld.com

    • DeMarcus Cousins scores 21 points in loss
DeMarcus Cousins scored 21 points on 6-of-19 shooting in an embarrassing loss to the Clippers on Saturday, adding four boards, two assists, two steals, two blocks and five turnovers in 25 minutes.

Advice: Cousins was in foul trouble pretty early in this one, but it didn't help that the game was practically over after a 42-point second quarter from the Clippers. Despite averaging 5.3 turnovers over his last four games, Cousins should be able to improve upon his efficiency once the Kings adapt to new head coach George Karl. Rotoworld.com

    • Amir Johnson doesn't score on Saturday
Amir Johnson did not score on Saturday with seven rebounds, one assist and two steals.

Advice: He only attempted two shots from the field and turned the ball over three times. Johnson's scoring numbers were up with three double-digit scoring games in his last four. Johnson isn't playing quite as well and owners in standard leagues can probably find someone with a higher upside like teammate and surname-mate James Johnson. Rotoworld.com

    • Taj Gibson has been playing with injured hand
Taj Gibson has been playing with a torn ligament in his left hand since mid-January, but said that it is almost completely healed.

Advice: Talk about a warrior. Injuries like this typically sideline a player for at least a few weeks, but Gibson clearly has other plans. He is also still dealing with soreness in his ankle, and doctors have told him that it won't be fully right all season. He finished Saturday's game against the Suns with 12 points and four boards in 29 minutes, and he will continue to be a must-own player in all leagues as long as he continues to fight through his nagging injuries. • Ersan Ilyasova practices, available Sunday
Ersan Ilyasova (illness) practiced on Saturday and will be available to play on Sunday.

Advice: Saying Ersan is "available to play" right now could change and we should still consider him questionable to play based on his track record to miss games this season. He hasn't played more than 24 minutes in a game since the start of December and the 6'10 forward has just eight blocks on the season. Rotoworld.com

    • Jonas Jerebko will have a chance to impress
Jonas Jerebko and Luigi Datome will have a chance to prove whether or not they will fit into Boston's system.

Advice: "We wanted to see how those two players fit with us," Ainge said. "They’re players we’ve liked before that we watched play and develop, and we want to see how they fit in our system. We want to see how they fit with our coaches and mesh with our players. Datome is a great shooter and Jerebko is a bigger perimeter player who can do a lot of the things Kelly [Olynyk] does." While Jerebko could potentially carve out a decent role with Kelly Olynyk (ankle) and Jared Sullinger (foot) sidelined, owners in most leagues can simply use a wait-and-see approach here, as both players have a lot of work to do in order to pop up on the fantasy radar. • Johnson a DNP-CD on Friday
Wesley Johnson did not play on Friday due to coach's decision.

    • Cousins all over the stat sheet in big win
DeMarcus Cousins scored 31 points on 12-of-18 shooting (7-of-9 FTs) with 15 rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and nine turnovers in the Kings' 109-101 win over the Celtics on Friday.

Advice: Cousins also ended the life of Jae Crowder, who was a kind man that once stepped in front of a locomotive on the basketball court and paid dearly for his courage. The Kings got a win for new coach George Karl, but this was the definition of an ugly win against a bad opponent and at some point the Kings need to get Cousins' turnovers under control. Rudy Gay scored 28 points on 9-of-18 shooting (2-of-5 3PTs, 8-of-8 FTs) with five rebounds, four assists, one steal and three blocks, but he also played out of control and will need to reel things back in to keep his efficiency on track. Brandon Bass double-doubled with 13 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block and one 3-pointer in Friday's loss to the Kings.

Advice: The Kings weren't great tonight and Kelly Olynyk (ankle) is still out, but with Jared Sullinger (foot) out for a while there is some late-round upside here for Bass. Give him a look but don't expect a lot. Rotoworld.com

Evan Turner hit just 3-of-14 shots in Friday's loss, finishing with seven points, five rebounds, eight assists, three steals, one 3-pointer and five turnovers in 37 minutes.

    • Jose Calderon scores 11 with nine dimes
Jose Calderon scored 11 points with nine assists, two steals and three turnovers against the Heat on Friday.

Advice: His line was tied for his highest dime output of 2015 and just the third double-digit scoring game since Jan. 22. Calderon has been a ghost on the stat sheet, but he should see his points, dimes, steals and treys start to creep up. He won't win you a league, but he has a decent chance to be a top-100 guy. Cleanthony Early made his first start at small forward in his career on Friday against the Heat, playing 23 minutes for two points, one rebound, one assist and one steal on 1-of-7 from the field.

Advice: Starting isn't his thing, apparently. In his only start at shooting guard, Early only scored six points on 2-of-9 from the field. He's made just 20 percent from the field in the last month and there are no other stats to suggest anything is coming. However, coach Derek Fisher sounds like he's going to play him. Just keep an eye on him in very deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

DeMarre Carroll scored four points on 2-of-4 shooting with five rebounds, two assists, three steals and three blocks in the Hawks' 105-80 home loss to the Raptors on Friday.

Advice: Strangely, this might have been the best standard league line of the night for the Hawks, who didn't see a starter play more than 29 minutes. Paul Millsap went for 11 and nine with a steal and block, Al Horford scored seven points with 12 boards, four assists, a steal and a three, and Kyle Korver hit 3-of-13 shots for 11 points, four rebounds, one block and two threes in the loss. Taj Gibson played 30 minutes off the bench during a 100-91 loss to the Pistons on Friday with 15 points, nine rebounds, two assists and one block.

Advice: It's his third game in a row with at least 30 minutes. Gibson's numbers are not great in that span, averaging just 11.0 points, 4.5 boards and 1.0 blocks. He's usually much better when he gets this kind of playing time, so he's a hold in fantasy leagues unless it's to pick up one of these hot centers from tonight. Rotoworld.com

Channing Frye played 18 minutes in the Magic's 95-84 win over the Pelicans on Friday, finishing with just two points on 1-of-6 shooting, two rebounds and one steal.

Advice: Frye's contract is going to look worse and worse as time goes on in Orlando, and one has to wonder why he's even playing these days. That said, if he can turn it around he doesn't need many minutes to be productive in fantasy leagues so be ready to move if that happens. Rotoworld.com

Jonas Jerebko will not play against the Kings on Friday.

Ersan Ilyasova (illness) will not play against the Nuggets on Friday.

    • Late on Early: Cleanthony Early starting
Cleanthony Early will start at small forward on Friday against the Heat.

Advice: He'll join Jose Calderon, Langston Galloway, Jason Smith and Lou Amundson. Coach Derek Fisher said the hopes of starting Early will help him relax, so it sounds like it'll stick. Considering the struggles of Galloway and Tim Hardaway Jr., we might get a decent look at Early for a while. He's capable of putting up steals and treys, so owners in deeper leagues will want to watch him tonight. Rotoworld.com

    • Jonas Jerebko could get minutes for Boston
Jonas Jerebko is expected to get minutes for the Celtics, but is not expected to play on Friday night against the Kings.

Advice: The Celtics are paper thin up front with Jared Sullinger (leg) out indefinitely and Kelly Olynyk (ankle) day-to-day. Jerebko isn't a strong rebounder and a whopping 68.2 percent of his shots come without a dribble, so it's hard to imagine him behind highly involved in the offense. Keep an eye on him in deep leagues, though. Rotoworld.com

Jarrett Jack (hamstring) will not play against the Lakers on Friday.

Advice: With Jack unavailable, Deron Williams should be ready to take his job back in the starting lineup, and perhaps keep it. He's going to get a very favorable matchup against a horrid Lakers' squad, and he's someone to consider as a plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Brandon Bass staying put?
Brandon Bass is expected to stay put with the Celtics unless he pushes for a buyout.

Advice: He's likely going to see major minutes with Kelly Olynyk (ankle) and Jared Sullinger (leg) out for Friday. Bass doesn't have a huge ceiling, but he should get enough playing time to accrue enough points and boards for most fantasy owners. There are still a lot of better adds from today, so he's not a must-add player or anything. Rotoworld.com

    • Jarrett Jack (hamstring) doesn't practice
Jarrett Jack (left hamstring) did not practice on Thursday and is questionable to play against the Lakers on Friday.

Advice: He had a sore hamstring back on Feb. 11, so it's somewhat troubling to hear he's still dealing with it right now. However, Jack is a massive winner from the deadline with the Nets not making moves. He should be owned in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

Jonas Jerebko was traded to the Celtics on Thursday.

    • Report: Jarrett Jack mentioned in OKC talks
The Nets may include Jarrett Jack in a potential trade sending Brook Lopez to Oklahoma City for a package including Reggie Jackson, according to Ken Berger of CBS Sports.

Advice: Berger notes that there are "lots of moving parts" in these talks and the whole deal could fall apart, but a trade to OKC would be very bad news for Jack's fantasy value. He's currently starting ahead of Deron Williams but would be stuck behind Russell Westbrook in Oklahoma City, so Jack's owners should be rooting for him to either stay in Brooklyn or be dealt to a third team. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

The Knicks offered Jose Calderon and Tim Hardaway Jr. for Goran Dragic, according to Chris Broussard of ESPN.com.

Advice: You know that guy in your fantasy league who offers two guys he just picked up off the wire for Kevin Durant? That's basically what this offer is. Channing Frye has been cleared to play after dislocating his finger on Feb. 11 against the Knicks according to head coach James Borrego.

Advice: Frye has scored in double digits just once in his last six games, so he has his work cut out for him if he wants to pop up on the fantasy radar again. Unless you are desperate for 3-pointers, Frye isn't worth owning in almost any league. Rotoworld.com
