    • Bench role in the cards for Klay Thompson?
      Warriors coach Steve Kerr mentioned the possibility of Klay Thompson coming off the bench should he remain with the team during his end-of-season press conference.

      Advice: Thompson’s 2023-24 season came to a brutal end, as he missed all ten field goal attempts and went scoreless in Tuesday’s Play-In tournament loss to the Kings. The veteran guard, one of the all-time great shooters in NBA history, will be an unrestricted free agent in the summer. And a return to the Warriors could depend on how amenable he is to coming off the bench, which is what happened this season. “I thought Klay really showed that he was agreeable to the sixth-man role the second half of the year, even though eventually we put him back in the starting lineup,” Kerr, who noted that the team needs to add more shooting to the roster this offseason, said. “I think that’s got to be an option going forward. I would prefer not to play him 35 minutes.” Thompson’s future in the Bay Area, beginning with whether or not he’ll re-sign with the team, impacts multiple Warriors, including Brandin Podziemski and Moses Moody.       Vucevic notched 24 points (11-21 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 12 rebounds and two assists in 37 minutes during Wednesday's 131-116 Play-In Game victory over the Hawks.

      Advice: Although Coby White's heroics headlined the game, the most interesting positional battle occurred inside, where Vucevic and Clint Capela went toe-to-toe. Although Capela out-rebounded Vucevic, the Chicago big man displayed his ability to stretch the floor, forcing Capela to play further out. The result was a vulnerable interior defense for the Hawks, and the rest of the team took advantage with productive slashes to the basket.     • Nikola Vucevic turns in 24/12 double-double
      Nikola Vucevic recorded a double-double on Wednesday with 24 points (11-of-21 FGs), 12 rebounds, two assists and one triple against the Hawks.

      Advice: Vooch closed out the regular season with three straight 20-point games, and he was able to keep that up to open up the postseason. He only scored five points when they played Atlanta earlier this month, but he was far more effective in this one. With the win, they’ll head to Miami to face a Heat team that may be without Jimmy Butler after he suffered a knee injury on Wednesday. They haven’t played Miami since December, but Vucevic scored less than 20 in three of their four matchups this year.       Advice: Thompson turned in arguably his worst performance of the season as the Warriors' disappointing season came to an end at the hands of the Kings. Despite a few bright spots throughout the year, it appears Thompson's days of being a reliable offensive threat could be behind him.       Klay Thompson missed all 10 of his shots in Tuesday’s 118-94 loss to the Kings, going scoreless with four rebounds and one assist in 32 minutes.

      Advice: If Tuesday’s game happens to be the last Thompson plays as a member of the Warriors, this was a brutal way for him to go out. For the first time in his NBA career, Klay went scoreless in a game he logged at least 12 minutes in. While there were some struggles for him throughout this season, Tuesday was uncharacteristically bad. After providing top-75 per-game value in 2022-23, the expectation was that Thompson would do the same in 2023-24. He wasn’t a terrible fantasy asset, but the top 100 value in 9-cat formats did not match his ADP (75.4).       Advice: Robinson is "fine" in the words of coach Tom Thibodeau, and he has additional time to continue re-charging while New York awaits the outcome of the Play-In Tournament.       Coach Tom Thibodeau said after Sunday's win over the Bulls that Robinson (ankle) wasn't available in the second half, Stefan Bondy of the New York Post reports.

      Advice: Robinson finished Sunday's win scoreless with one rebound in seven minutes of action before being shut down. It was especially disappointing to see the big man unavailable after he posted 15 points, eight rebounds and two blocks in 25 minutes during Friday's win over Brooklyn, which was by far his most productive outing since returning from a 50-game absence.
