    • Xavier Tillman (knee) available Thursday vs. Hawks
Xavier Tillman (left knee swelling) has been upgraded to available for Thursday’s game against the Hawks.

Advice: Tillman has been cleared to play after sitting out Monday’s loss to the Hawks. He has been dealing with swelling in his knee throughout this season, but this is not a significant issue in fantasy basketball. Tillman is either the third or fourth center in the Celtics rotation, depending on the availability of Kristaps Porzingis, Al Horford, and Luke Kornet. With Horford sidelined, Tillman will have a few more minutes available, but not enough to make him fantasy-relevant. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:10 pm
    • Good to go Thursday
Tillman (knee) is available for Thursday's game versus the Hawks, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.

Advice: Tillman has been upgraded from questionable to available Thursday after missing Boston's previous contest due to left knee inflammation. With Al Horford (toe) out, Tillman could receive increased playing time. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:06 pm
    • Darius Garland (ankle) probable Friday vs. 76ers
Darius Garland (right ankle sprain) is probable for Friday’s game against the 76ers.

Advice: Garland is on the injury report for Friday’s game, but the probable designation suggests he will be cleared to play. He last missed a game on January 29 against the Clippers, with the Cavaliers shifting Donovan Mitchell to the point. However, Mitchell (nose) is questionable for Friday’s game. Caris LeVert has the most to gain regarding fantasy value if both of Cleveland’s starting guards are ruled out. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:42 pm
    • Likely to play against Philadelphia
Garland is listed as probable for Friday's game versus the 76ers due to a right ankle sprain.

Advice: Garland hasn't missed a game since Jan. 27 and isn't expected to do so Friday despite dealing with a right ankle sprain. With Donovan Mitchell (nose) questionable, the Cavaliers could start their optimal backcourt against Philadelphia. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:37 pm
    • All-around performance in win
Sochan ended Wednesday's 118-111 win over the Jazz with 17 points (7-16 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 1-2 FT), nine rebounds, two assists, one block and five steals over 36 minutes.

Advice: Sochan recorded a season-high five steals during Wednesday's win over the Jazz. Despite struggling with his efficiency, the 20-year-old forward was one rebound shy of posting his second straight double-double. Sochan has helped form a formidable defensive frontcourt alongside Victor Wembanyama. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:46 am
    • Participates in shootaround
Tillman (knee) was active in shootaround ahead of Thursday's game versus the Hawks, Bobby Manning of CelticsBlog reports.

Advice: Tillman is officially listed as questionable for Thursday's contest due to left knee inflammation. However, Tillman's participation in shootaround is a good sign of his availability against Atlanta. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:19 am
    • Shut down for season
The Hornets announced Thursday that Ball (ankle) will miss the remainder of the season.

Advice: Ball hasn't played since Jan. 26 due to an injury the Hornets initially labeled as right ankle soreness before eventually updating his diagnosis as right ankle tendinopathy. Though head coach Steve Clifford suggested earlier this month that Ball was doing more work on the court, the Hornets weren't willing to put a timeline on his return to the court. Ultimately, Ball didn't demonstrate enough progress in his recovery from the right ankle injury to make it back for the final two-plus weeks of the season and will be shut down for the remainder of the campaign as he turns his focus to further rehab. Ball has now played just 58 games over the past two seasons due to injuries, but he was productive during his time on the court when healthy in 2023-24, as he averaged 23.9 points, 8.0 assists, 5.1 rebounds, 3.2 three-pointers and 1.8 steals in 32.3 minutes per game over his 22 appearances. Provided he doesn't require any offseason procedures on his right ankle, Ball should be fully healed ahead of training camp in the fall. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:08 am
    • Big surprise: LaMelo Ball out rest of season
LaMelo Ball (right ankle tendinopathy) will not return this season.

Advice: If you were still holding out hope for some reason, it’s officially time to drop him to the waiver wire. LaMelo has been out since January 26th, will remain sidelined as he recovers from this right ankle injury that has plagued him all season. While he was effective when he was on the floor, he only ended up playing 22 games. Tre Mann and Vasilije Micic will be the starting backcourt for the final few weeks of the year. • Double-double in tough loss
Oubre ended with 17 points (6-17 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-5 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 38 minutes during Wednesday's 108-107 loss to the Clippers.

Advice: The 28-year-old forward very nearly played hero, but his layup attempt at the buzzer was blocked by Kawhi Leonard -- although the refs acknowledged after the game that Oubre was fouled on the play and should have gone to the line with a chance to win it. The double-double was his fourth of the season, with three of them coming since he rejoined the Sixers' starting five Mar. 8. Over his last 10 games, Oubre has averaged 17.6 points, 6.5 boards, 2.5 assists, 1.3 threes, 1.1 steals and 1.0 blocks despite shooting 39.8 percent from the floor and 26.5 percent from beyond the arc.
