      Advice: Despite a sluggish start to the game, Irving delivered when it mattered, helping the Mavericks to an emphatic victory. Both he and Luka Doncic are at the peak of their powers at the moment. A repeat performance in Game 4 will see Dallas on the cusp of an impressive first-round victory.       Advice: Irving got off to an incredibly slow start in this game and entered halftime with just two points. He played well in both of the first two games of this series, but he didn’t get things going in Game 3 until after the break. His 19 second-half points were enough to allow Dallas to hang on and win this game despite a below average shooting night from Luka Doncic.       Dereck Lively II provided a boost off the bench with 13 points (6-of-8 FGs), two rebounds and two blocks in 15 minutes against the Clippers in Game 3 on Friday.

      Advice: Lively only played nine minutes in Game 2 and ended up missing practice on Thursday because of some soreness in his lower back. However, he was able to play in Game 3, and he was able to make an impact off the bench. He scored all 13 of his points in the first half, which included five dunks.       Advice: Holmgren was expected to have a tough matchup while being guarded by Jonas Valanciunas, but the rookie has looked outstanding in his first two playoff contests, posting a double-double in Game 1 and delivering his best scoring output in more than a month in the second game of the series.       Advice: Holmgren improved upon his previous outing in his second-ever playoff game. He led all players in blocks and only Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored more points in the contest.       Advice: Daniel Gafford started this game, but he was ineffective in just nine minutes of action and left the game briefly due to a back injury. Lively had more success, obviously, but he didn't get a ton of burn either, as Maxi Kleber and P.J. Washington soaked up the bulk of the frontcourt minutes.       Kyrie Irving finished Tuesday’s 96-93 win over the Clippers with 23 points (8-of-18 FGs, 3-of-4 FTs), six rebounds, three assists, three steals, and four 3-pointers in 42 minutes.

      Advice: Irving and the Mavericks bounced back from a brutal Game 1 performance, evening the series at one game apiece. While his final stat line in Game 1 may have been more impressive, Irving was more impactful in Game 2. With Kawhi Leonard back in the Clippers lineup, Dallas can’t afford to start slowly.       Advice: While former college roommate Jalen Brunson struggled with his shot most of the night, DiVincenzo performed better than in Game 1 on Saturday. He also made the biggest shot of Game 2, as his 3-pointer with 13.1 seconds remaining gave the Knicks the lead for good. Unlike Game 1, when Miles McBride replaced him in the lineup in crunch time, DiVincenzo was on the court on Monday and came up big for the Knicks.
