Green played in 79 games in his rookie season of 2012-13, averaging 2.9 points and 3.3 rebounds in 13.4 minutes per game. His playing time increased in the postseason to 18.6 minutes per game as he was part of the mix to replace an injured David Lee.
Recommendation: Green was a drain offensively for much of the season, shooting 32.7 percent from the field and 20.9 percent from 3-point range. Those numbers got better in the postseason, but Green's game isn't about scoring. He's a heady player capable of playing three positions and played some center during the playoffs. His versatility and IQ are valued, but he doesn't figure to be a significant scoring threat.
