    • Sniffs triple-double in loss
James ended with 26 points (9-19 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 5-7 FT), eight rebounds, 12 assists, two blocks and two steals over 38 minutes during Monday's 101-99 loss to the Nuggets in Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: James finished just two rebounds shy of a triple-double Monday, and even though the 39-year-old forward is competing at a high level, it seems the Lakers keep falling short against Denver. James has recorded at least 25 points, six rebounds and eight assists in the first two games of the series, and he should continue to have a high usage rate during Game 3 on Thursday. • LeBron James tallies 26 points, 12 assists Monday
LeBron James finished Monday’s 101-99 loss to Denver with 26 points (9-of-19 FGs, 5-of-6 FTs), eight rebounds, 12 assists, two steals, two blocks, and three 3-pointers in 38 minutes.

Advice: After committing seven turnovers in Game 1, LeBron was only responsible for two in Game 2. He did what he could in the fourth quarter, shooting 5-of-9 from the field, but the Lakers appeared to run out of gas. That impacted the cohesion of their offense, and Denver successfully walked them down, with Jamal Murray’s shot at the buzzer being the difference. The two nights off will be massive for James and the Lakers, who had to navigate a Play-In game to get into the playoffs. Game 3 is on Thursday night in Los Angeles, with the Nuggets holding a 2-0 series lead. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:20 pm
    • Franz Wagner (shoulder) points 18/7/2/1/1 line
Franz Wagner (right shoulder) accounted for 18 points (5-of-17 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), seven rebounds, two assists, one steal, one block, and two 3-pointers in 38 minutes in Monday’s 96-86 loss to Cleveland.

Advice: Like Paolo Banchero, Wagner had a rough night offensively. In addition to the poor shooting, he committed six of Orlando’s 16 turnovers (Banchero also had six). Also, Wagner appeared to injure his right shoulder during the final minute to make matters worse. Play never stopped, so he remained on the court through the final buzzer, which may land Wagner on the injury report ahead of Thursday’s Game 3. The other injury concern is Jalen Suggs, who strained his left knee during the first quarter. He returned to begin the third and finished with nine points, six rebounds, five assists, and one steal in 29 minutes. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:18 pm
    • Nears 20 points in balanced outing
Wagner tallied 18 points (5-17 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 38 minutes in Orlando's 96-86 loss to Cleveland in Game 2 of the first-round playoff series.

Advice: Wagner struggled to find his shot a bit in Monday's defeat but still provided a lift offensively by ending two points shy of the 20-point mark while leading all Magic players in rebounds in a balanced performance. Wagner has put together back-to-back strong showings for Orlando to start the opening-round series, posting 18 points and seven boards in both contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:10 pm
    • Gets green light
James (ankle) will play in Monday's Game 2 against the Nuggets, Ryan Ward of LakersNation.com reports.

Advice: James was initially added to the team's injury report as probable, so this update was expected. He'll need to be a key piece of the puzzle again in Game 2 for the Lakers to have a chance to steal a win on the road. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:34 pm
    • Tagged as doubtful
Antetokounmpo (calf) is listed as doubtful for Tuesday's Game 2 against Indiana.

Advice: Antetokounmpo's left Soleus strain appears on track to keep him sidelined for Game 2, although Milwaukee can breathe a huge sigh of relief after controlling Game 1 at home. Antetokounmpo suffering a calf-related setback would be a worst-case scenario for the Bucks, so proceeding with caution appears likely, but his status will still need to be monitored until he is officially ruled out. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:37 pm
    • Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf) doubtful for Game 2
Giannis Antetokounmpo (left soleus strain) is doubtful for Tuesday’s game against the Pacers.

Advice: While TNT’s Jared Greenberg reported before Game 1 that Antetokounmpo could return to the Bucks lineup at some point in this series, Tuesday’s Game 2 appears unlikely. He’s doubtful, with Bobby Portis remaining in the starting lineup if Giannis cannot play. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:34 pm
    • Swats five shots in win Sunday
Holmgren ended with 15 points (6-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, two assists, five blocks and one steal in 32 minutes during Sunday's 94-92 victory over the Pelicans in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Holmgren had all sorts of problems with Jonas Valanciunas on the glass, and his shooting wasn't entirely efficient. However, the rookie didn't look outmatched in the first playoff appearance of his career, particularly on the defensive end with a few key blocks down the stretch, including one in the dying stages of the fourth quarter where the Pelicans were creeping on a comeback. Holmgren is not going to lead the Thunder in scoring since he plays alongside Jalen Williams and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, but he's still an excellent two-way threat every time he steps on the court. • Pulls down 20 boards in loss Sunday
Valanciunas registered 13 points (5-9 FG, 3-4 FT), 20 rebounds, two assists and one steal across 29 minutes during Sunday's 94-92 loss to the Thunder in Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals.

Advice: Valanciunas was heavily criticized for his play during the loss to the Lakers in the first round of the Play-In Tournament, but he's responded extremely well with back-to-back double-doubles against the Kings and Thunder. The veteran big man feasted on the glass against Chet Holmgren and used his physicality to dominate. Expect him to play a prominent role in the paint in Game 2 on Wednesday, especially with Zion Williamson (hamstring) still sidelined. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:21 am
