Jamal Murray puts up 21/6/4 in win vs. Grizzlies
Jamal Murray led Denver with 21 points (7-of-14 FGs), six rebounds, four assists, one block and three 3-pointers in a 126-111 win over Memphis on Sunday.
Advice: Murray did most of his work in the first half of this game, as he scored 19 points before the break. Denver needed to win this game, but they were playing against the tanking Grizzlies, so they were able to manage the minutes of their starters. Murray only played 24 minutes in this game, so he would have had a better stat line if they were matched up against a better team. With the win, they will be the No. 2 seed in the West, which means they will match up with the winner of the Pelicans-Lakers Play-In game. New Orleans will be the 7th seed, but they dropped from 6th after the Lakers beat them on the final day of the regular season. Either way, Murray and the rest of the team will get a week off before they begin their quest to repeat as champions.
