  • Rodney Stuckey is questionable for Wed
Rodney Stuckey (wrist) is questionable to play against the Celtics on Wednesday.

Advice: He just got over a calf issue and he's now back on the injury report with an issue involving his shooting wrist. That may have explained why he made just 1-of-8 from the field on Tuesday. If he's out, C.J. Watson would likely be the sixth man while Damjan Rudez would also get more minutes. Rotoworld.com

  • Scott won't share who's getting benched?
Coach Bryon Scott wouldn't say who will get minutes for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.

Advice: We know Jordan Clarkson, Jeremy Lin, Wes Johnson, Ryan Kelly and Tarik Black are starting, but it's tough to say after that. Jordan Hill and Carlos Boozer already had their turn to sit and now it's been Ed David missing time. Perhaps we see Robert Sacre and/or Tarik Black get some rest. We'll have some updates later today. • Kings calling up Sim Bhullar?
The Kings may sign Sim Bhullar to a 10-day deal.

Advice: Interesting. Bhullar gained a lot of popularity during Summer League for his famous picture next to DeMarcus Cousins, which made Cousins look more like Nate Robinson than one of the biggest centers in the NBA. If the Kings are going to rest Cousins, maybe the 7'5, 359-pound big man gets some minutes. Leave him on the wire for now, though. Rotoworld.com

  • Iman Shumpert practices on Wednesday
Iman Shumpert (ankle) practiced on Wednesday and will play against the Heat on Thursday.

Advice: Shumpert has played around 25 minutes per game, but he's only made 36.0 percent from the field this month and hasn't done much outside of his 1.7 steals. He's not a fantasy option right now. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Love (back) is a game-time decision
Kevin Love (back) will be a game-time decision to face the Heat on Thursday.

Advice: He went through non-contact portions of practice on Wednesday. Love has previously said his back issue is not a problem and the Cavs did rest him for two games last month, so it wouldn't be a surprise to see him rest again. If he's out, Tristan Thompson would directly benefit while J.R. Smith may get more shots, too. Rotoworld.com

  • NBA rescinds a technical for Westbrook
The NBA has rescinded a technical foul for Russell Westbrook and he now has 14 on the season.

Advice: This is big news because he would be suspended for one game with 16 technical fouls on the season. Westbrook now has a one tech cushion in his final eight games this season. Rajon Rondo will try to stop Westbrook tonight, which means we'll likely see a huge line from Westy. Rotoworld.com

  • Lakers sign G Jabari Brown to multi-year deal
The Lakers have signed G Jabari Brown to a multi-year deal on Wednesday and have officially waived Steve Nash.

Advice: Brown has been getting some decent run down the stretch and made the most out of his two 10-day contracts. He is averaging 11.2 points, 2.0 assists, 1.8 boards, 1.2 steals, and 1.4 3-pointers over his last five games, but the likely return of Jeremy Lin (illness) on Wednesday will hurt his value. Brown is only worth a look in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Garnett present at shootaround on Wed
Kevin Garnett (knee, illness) was at shootaround on Wednesday, but he isn't expected to play vs. the Raptors.

Advice: The Wolves don't really have any incentive to play KG if he isn't 100 percent, so it's safe to say that we probably won't see him take the floor tonight. Expect Adreian Payne and Anthony Bennett to fill the void at power forward, though neither player is worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Tony Allen (hamstring) doesn't practice Wed
Tony Allen (hamstring) wasn't able to practice on Wednesday, and there is still no known timetable for his return.

Advice: Hamstring injuries are no joke and the Grizzlies will want to make sure that he doesn't suffer any setbacks. Allen should be considered doubtful to play on Friday, but we will update his status once we know more. If Allen continues to sit, Vince Carter will likely continue to start and is worth a look in deeper leagues for his 3-point shooting, while Courtney Lee and Jeff Green will also benefit. • Kevin Martin to return Wednesday or Friday
Kevin Martin (hamstring) might be able to play on Wednesday vs. the Raptors, but he should definitely be ready to play on Friday vs. the Magic.

Advice: Martin is going to see how his hamstring feels after his afternoon nap, but he certainly didn't sound confident that he would play. The Wolves' injury report is just ridiculous right now, and Martin's owners should have a backup plan ready. if he does indeed sit on Wednesday, Lorenzo Brown and Chase Budinger will continue to see major minutes. Advice: Lowry has already said that he won't rush back from injury, so it's safe to drop him in most leagues. Greivis Vasquez will continue to draw the start and is worth a look if you need help in assists and 3-pointers, while DeMar DeRozan and Lou Williams will continue to receive a boost in value with Lowry on the shelf. • Terrence Jones will play vs. Kings Wednesday
Terrence Jones (ribs, lung) will play vs. the Kings on Wednesday, though he isn't sure how many minutes.

Advice: Jones made it through shootaround just fine and was in good spirits, so it looks like he is in the clear. Donatas Motiejunas (back) is on the sidelines and Dwight Howard (knee) is still on a minutes restriction and won't play in back-to-back sets, so there is a good chance that Jones could get some serious action down the stretch. If he is cleared to play, owners in most leagues will probably want to keep him on their bench until we know how many minutes he will get. Still, Jones has loads of upside and is worth a flier in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Rose (knee) will not play vs. Bucks
Derrick Rose will not play vs. the Bucks, but his knee has responded well after two straight days of contact.

Advice: Rose participated in some five-on-five scrimmages on Tuesday, and head coach Tom Thibodeau was optimistic about what he saw. Rose remains without a timetable to return, but it is still widely believed that he plays before the end of the regular season which means owners of Aaron Brooks will want to be on alert. If you like taking risks, Rose is worth a look in case he returns for the final stretch, but his owners should keep their expectations in check. Rotoworld.com

  • Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Cody Zeller out Wed
Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (ankle) and Cody Zeller (shoulder) will not play vs. the Pistons on Wednesday.

Advice: MKG will likely be out for another week, so there are no surprises here. At this point in the season, MKG can be dropped in most leagues and the Hornets won't be in a rush to bring him back if they continue to fall out of the hunt for a playoff berth. Jeff Taylor will likely draw another start, but he is only worth a look in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Terrence Jones goes through shootaround Wed
Terrence Jones (ribs, lung) went through shootaround on Wednesday morning, and he is still listed as questionable vs. the Kings.

Advice: Regardless of whether or not you own Jones, this is simply awesome to hear after he suffered a partially collapsed lung less than a couple of weeks ago. The Rockets are without Donatas Motiejunas (back) and Dwight Howard's playing time is heavily restricted, so Jones could get plenty of run down the stretch if he is cleared to play. We should know more details shortly, so owners should be on the lookout for an update. Due to his upside, Jones is worth a flier in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Hassan Whiteside won't be 100% for 2 weeks
Hassan Whiteside said that his hand won't be 100 percent until he gets his 10 stitches removed in two weeks, but he will continue to play through the ailment.

Advice: The bandage that he is wearing pretty much only lets him use three fingers on his right hand, but Whiteside is just glad that he will be completely healthy for the postseason. "It’s an awkward injury," Whiteside said. "It’s a terrible place to have stitches. There’s really nothing I can do about it." Whiteside was still able to contribute 10 points, six boards, two steals and two blocks against the Spurs on Tuesday, and he is fully expected to play vs. the Cavaliers on Thursday. Keep him locked into all lineups, but as with all Heat players, keep a close eye on the injury report. Rotoworld.com

  • Julius Randle to be cleared for contact soon?
Julius Randle (leg) is hoping to be cleared for contact drills in about a month.

Advice: Randle is reportedly progressing well and the Lakers believe that he is on track to play at the Las Vegas Summer League. Randle has been working on his mid-range game as well as his footwork in the post, and he has also had workouts with legendary point guard Steve Nash which will inevitably help his passing vision. We will track his progress very closely in the offseason, and his value could be on the rise if the Lakers don't address their frontcourt needs. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Barea has missed the past four games for the Mavericks, so it wouldn't be surprising if he doesn't get a lot of run tonight. With averages of 7.5 points and 3.3 assists this season, Barea belongs on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Brandon Knight hoping to prove people wrong
Brandon Knight has often been overlooked and underrated throughout his career, but he is hoping that his play this season has proved many people wrong.

Advice: "A lot of people tried to put limitations on my game and say I wouldn’t be this, I wouldn’t be that," Knight said. "I think I’ve proven a lot of people wrong. I don’t think a lot of people thought I would be here based on my first two years." Knight has had a brilliant season thus far, but a nagging ankle injury has prevented him from keeping that momentum going since being traded to the Suns. Regardless, the Bucks traded Knight because they knew he would have a hefty price tag in the summer, and it's going to be interesting to see how committed Phoenix is this offseason. • Byron Scott praises rookie Jordan Clarkson
Byron Scott believes that rookie Jordan Clarkson "has a chance" to become an All-Star in the NBA.

Advice: "The more he gains experience, he will learn the pace of the game, how to slow it down and use his speed when he has to do so," Scott said. "His ceiling is pretty high." Clarkson has posted ridiculous averages of 21.6 points, 6.0 assists, 5.0 boards and 1.6 steals over his last five games, and the Lakers have to be feeling pretty good about themselves by stealing him in the second round of the draft last year. Clarkson is an absolute must-start player down the stretch. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Durant to stick with Thunder for life?
In a recent interview with Revolt TV, Kevin Durant said that he "would like to stick it out with one team for his entire career."

Advice: "I love it here, man," Durant said. "I love my teammates, I love the city, I don’t really think about anywhere else." Durant is under contract for one more season with the Thunder, and there has been a lot of speculation that he would entertain the idea of playing for the Wizards. Despite all the troubles he had with his foot this season, there is no doubt that he is one of the best players in the NBA when healthy and he should have no problems getting a max contract when that time comes. Durant is out for the season after having bone graft surgery on his foot on Tuesday, but we will have plenty of updates on his status during his rehab and he should be able to return in time for training camp. • Chris Paul scores 27 pts w/ full line in loss
Chris Paul scored 27 points in a losing effort vs. the Warriors in L.A on Tuesday, finishing with one 3-pointer, two rebounds, nine assists and one steal.

Advice: CP3 has been a top-5 fantasy value by virtually any metric this season -- 8-cat or 9-cat, per-game or cumulative. He rivals Kawhi Leonard as one of the game's deadliest mid-range shooters and his 10.3 ppg off pull-up jumpers are tops in the NBA, far ahead of Mo Williams (8.9), Stephen Curry (8.6) and Russell Westbrook (8.4). He also leads the NBA in assist-to-turnover ratio (4.1) and will be a fixture on plenty of championship-winning fantasy teams this season. Rotoworld.com

  • Andrew Bogut logs 30 minutes vs. Clippers
Andrew Bogut had six points on 3-of-5 shooting, nine rebounds, five assists and one block in 30 minutes vs. DeAndre Jordan and the Clippers on Tuesday.

Advice: Bogut was excited for a bigger offensive role under Steve Kerr this season, yet his current usage rate of 13.1 percent is the second-lowest of his 10-year NBA career. He's averaging under 25 minutes per game in March but is still racking up top-100 value thanks to solid rebounds (8.4), assists (2.3), steals (0.7) and blocks (1.6). That comes with excellent 58.2 percent FG shooting, and his miserable FT shooting (33.3) is so lightly weighted that it hardly affects fantasy owners -- he's attempted three free throws all month. He's a solid option when active, but keep in mind he could be rested during back-to-back games this weekend. Rotoworld.com

Lou Amundson hopes to re-sign with the Knicks as a free agent this summer.

  • Hassan Whiteside plays well off Miami's bench
Hassan Whiteside's lacerated right hand didn't slow him down vs. the Spurs, as he racked up 10 points, six rebounds, one assist, two steals and two blocks without any turnovers in 23 minutes off Miami's bench.

Advice: Whiteside played with an awkward bandage that limited the use of his right hand, but he made some emphatic right-handed blocks and produced more than fantasy owners could have reasonably anticipated. He almost had to play tonight with Udonis Haslem (illness) out of commission, but his solid play suggests he'll be fine for Thursday's road game regardless of Haslem's status. Keep Whiteside locked into all active lineups. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey (wrist) shoots 1-of-8 vs. Nets
Rodney Stuckey (sore right wrist) notched four points (1-of-8 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs) with two rebounds and one assist in 25 minutes on Tuesday, and he started the second half in place of C.J. Miles (sprained ankle).

Advice: Stuckey recently came back from a calf injury and he's perpetually banged up, but the Pacers are scrapping for a playoff spot so it's not surprising that he'd play at less than 100 percent. His potential for offensive eruptions makes him a tantalizing fantasy option, especially if he starts on Wednesday, though he's been reduced to late-round value over the past 12 games with averages of 14.8 points on 42.8 percent shooting, 3.9 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 0.8 steals. • Hassan Whiteside (hand) expected to play Tues
Hassan Whiteside (hand) is expected to play on Tuesday.

Advice: Whiteside will come off the bench behind starting center Chris Andersen. His pain tolerance is a main concern for the Heat, as well as the fear that he'll re-tear his stitches before the wound fully heals. His offense is likely to suffer due to the bulky protective bandage on his hand, but his talent is great enough that he belongs in all active lineups. Rotoworld.com

  • Hassan Whiteside (hand) a game-time decision
Updating a previous report, Hassan Whiteside (hand) will be a game-time decision for Tuesday's matchup with the Spurs.

Advice: Head coach Erik Spoelstra said that if Whiteside can play, it might only be for seven minutes, so he's clearly going to be limited tonight. He's not really capable of using his right hand at all, but Miami is so banged up that they could actually use a one-armed Whiteside even in just a seven-minute stretch. He's a very risky option tonight. Rotoworld.com
    Yesterday, 3:34 pm
  • Pain tolerance main obstacle for Whiteside
Hassan Whiteside (hand) said that pain tolerance will dictate whether he can play.

Advice: "It felt weird, but I’m gonna do the best I can," Whiteside said. "You’re gonna see a lot more lefty. As long as I don’t spread my fingers and they keep them taped together, I can’t reopen the stitches. It’s surrounded by a pad, so it can be slapped and everything. It’s just about what I can tolerate on the court with the pain. They cleared me. It’s just the performance and how well I can play." Whiteside remains questionable for tonight's game, but it sounds like even if he does play, he's going to be very limited on the offensive end. Udonis Haslem's won't be worth using in most leagues if Whiteside suits up. Rotoworld.com

Rodney Stuckey (wrist) will play Tuesday vs. the Nets.

Terrence Jones (ribs, lung) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday's game against the Kings.

Advice: Jones offers plenty of upside, and with Donatas Motiejunas (back) on the shelf, and Dwight Howard still with a minutes limit, Jones could potentially get some decent run upon his return. He's worth a speculative add in most leagues with this news, so make sure he's not sitting on your waiver wire. Josh Smith's value would take a minor hit with Jones back in the rotation. That being said, there's just too much uncertainty right now to recommend adding him in most leagues, but there should be another update on his status following Wednesday morning's shootaround. Advice: While we've yet to see a team say a surgery was unsuccessful, it's worth noting that the Thunder deemed the surgery a success. The optimistic end of Durant's timetable would put him back on the court by training camp, while the longer end of of that timetable would having him returning at some point in October. Advice: The 22-year-old is averaging 11.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.4 three-pointers over his last five games, so he's giving the Lakers a lot to think about. Advice: Coach Byron Scott said he hasn't decided on the frontcourt rotation just yet. Jordan Hill returned on Sunday with a big 22-point game and Ed Davis sat, so maybe they go that route again. We'll have an update if any news comes regarding a Lakers' big. Boozer is still too risky to start. If we had to guess, Hill, Sacre or Ed Davis are going to sit out tonight. Rotoworld.com

  • Hassan Whiteside (hand) questionable for Tues
Hassan Whiteside (hand) is questionable to play against the Spurs on Tuesday.

Advice: He was cleared to play on Monday despite his hand wound not being entirely healed. It sounds like Miami plays to have him play, but some discomfort at shootaround or in warmups could keep him out of the game. Fantasy owners can start him at their own risk with four games. If your other options aren't promising, Whiteside's upside this week is hard to keep on a fantasy bench. Rotoworld.com

  • Surprise: Whiteside cleared to play Tuesday
Updating a previous item, Hassan Whiteside (hand) has been cleared to play and is expected to return to the lineup on Tuesday against the Spurs.

Advice: Considering we just posted 25 minutes ago that Whiteside wouldn't be rushed to return, it's quite the development for fantasy owners and for Miami's playoff chances. Owners, especially in weekly formats, have to be certain Whiteside is in the lineup even though he'll be playing at less than 100 percent. The upside is just too great. "It felt weird, but I'm gonna do the best I can," Whiteside said of playing with his hand taped and padded up. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Garnett doubtful to return on Monday
Kevin Garnett (knee, illness) is doubtful to make his return on Monday vs. Utah.

Advice: Garnett has been sick for almost a week and hasn't been able to eat, so he hasn't even been able to get on the floor to test his injured knee. Without him, Nikola Pekovic (ankle) and Gorgui Dieng (concussion-like symptoms) in the lineup, Justin Hamilton and Adreian Payne will be spending a ton of time on the floor. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey (wrist) questionable Tuesday
Rodney Stuckey (wrist) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Nets.

Advice: Stuckey logged 30 minutes in Sunday's win over the Mavs while coming off a calf injury, but apparently he managed to add another injury in the process. If he's forced to sit out, C.J. Miles and C.J. Watson would both be the most direct beneficiaries. Rotoworld.com

  • Hassan Whiteside won't be rushed to return
Hassan Whiteside (hand) will not be rushed back to action.

Advice: Whiteside continues to test out his injured hand to see how much he's capable of doing, but Erik Spoelstra said the team has no timetable and "it needs to heal a little more before we take the next step." The actual injury is a split in his right hand between the forefinger and ring finger, and fantasy owners are left in a bad spot as Whiteside continues to heal. With Chris Andersen (calf) also banged up, Udonis Haslem is locked into a major role right now. Rotoworld.com

  • Derrick Rose takes full contact in practice
Derrick Rose (knee surgery) took full contact in practice on Monday.

Advice: It's a great sign for Rose and his eventual return this season. He took part in a full contact 4-on-4 scrimmage, and Tom Thibodeau said Rose looked winded afterward, but otherwise reported no ill effects. Rose previously said it would take him a week or two to get back into game action after being cleared for contact, so owners looking to stash him will want to think long and hard about all the DNPs he still has left to rack up. The Bulls play just three times in each of the next two weeks. Aaron Brooks owners: Take notice. Rotoworld.com

Kyle Lowry (back) will not play on Monday against the Rockets.

Advice: Lowry has already said that he won't rush his return, but it's not clear when he will be back on the floor. Greivis Vasquez is averaging 11.1 points, 4.3 assists and 1.7 triples on 44.6 percent shooting over 23 games as the starting point guard, and both Lou Williams and DeMar DeRozan will have more responsibilities while Lowry is sidelined, as well. Kevin Martin (hamstring) is questionable to face the Jazz on Monday.

Advice: We'd bet on him skipping this one. Martin has shown an unwillingness to inconvenience himself this season with the Timberwolves playing for ping pong balls, and he will take his sweet time in deciding when to return. We'd expect Lorenzo Brown to draw another start in his place. As a starter, Brown is averaging 6.6 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.6 steals on 38.9 percent shooting. Rotoworld.com

Terrence Jones (ribs, lung) and Donatas Motiejunas (back) are both expected back before the end of the regular season, according to Rockets GM Daryl Morey.

Advice: That would be great news for a Rockets team that is shorthanded on its frontline. Although neither player has a specific timetable or circled date in an attempt to return, it's encouraging to hear both are making progress. • Update: Brandon Knight iffy to play Monday
Brandon Knight (ankle) did not have a noticeable limp after Sunday's game, but his status may be in jeopardy for Monday's road game in Portland.

Advice: Suns coach Jeff Hornacek reportedly said, "I would guess he wouldn't play." The report suggests that Knight will miss Thursday's game in Golden State, but it makes more sense that Hornacek was referencing Monday's game, the second half of a back-to-back set. Either way, Knight's owners should be on red-alert for a potential DNP. Rotoworld.com

  • Russell Westbrook nets 33 pts in comeback win
The Thunder won a critical game in Phoenix on Sunday behind Russell Westbrook's 33 points (10-of-29 FGs, 12-of-14 FTs), nine rebounds, seven assists, three steals and one block.

Advice: Westbrook now has 24 games with 30+ points this season and he's racking up gaudy fantasy lines on a nightly basis, though tonight's production was tainted by a lousy FG percentage. Kevin Durant (foot) is done for the season and Serge Ibaka (knee) won't return until mid-April at the earliest, leaving Westbrook to single-handedly carry the Thunder in the playoffs. So far, so good, as he's staked the Thunder to a 2.5-game lead over the No. 9 seed Pelicans. Rotoworld.com

  • Brandon Knight (ankle) goes 1-of-10 in return
Brandon Knight returned to action on Sunday, coming off the Suns bench for three points, two rebounds, four assists and one steal in 22 minutes, while shooting just 1-of-10 from the field.

Advice: He missed all six of his 3-point attempts and the poor shooting is a product of rust -- he hadn't played in a game since Mar. 9. He took a hard fall tonight but shook it off and shouldn't be in any danger of missing Monday's road game in Portland, but owners should still confirm his status in a back-to-back set. Rotoworld.com

  • Iman Shumpert (ankle) held out as precaution
Iman Shumpert "jammed" his left ankle during Sunday's game and coach David Blatt didn't seem overly concerned about the injury.

Advice: "I think he wanted to come back in there but we held him out for precautionary reasons," Blatt said. "I believe he'll be OK." Shumpert didn't return after the injury and we'll leave him on the injury report as a precaution, though it certainly helps that Cleveland doesn't play again until Thursday. If Shumpert does miss time, expect guys like James Jones, Shawn Marion and possibly Mike Miller to fill the void. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Love (back) expects to play Thursday
Kevin Love said that his lower back feels "good" and he does not expect to miss any games due to the injury he suffered on Sunday.

Advice: Love was elbowed in the lower back but it sounds like his decision to sit out the rest of Sunday's game was precautionary. "I just have to take these next couple days," Love said. We'll leave him on the injury report for now, but will take him off once he returns to practice this week. This is great news for fantasy owners, as the Cavs' two-game slate is already bad enough without an injury-related DNP. Rotoworld.com

  • Rodney Stuckey (calf) plays 30 minutes Sunday
Rodney Stuckey (calf) logged 30 minutes during Sunday's much-needed win vs. Dallas, scoring 10 points with one 3-pointer, five rebounds and two assists.

Advice: He wasn't on a minute-limit and is safe to deploy whenever he's healthy, as the Pacers have given him a green-light to shoot with their second unit (he finished 4-of-14 from the field tonight). The second unit has proven to be a strength for Indiana this season -- their bench is averaging 41.0 points per game, second in the NBA behind only the Lakers. Stuckey's return stole some playing time from C.J. Miles (28 minutes), C.J. Watson (24 minutes) and especially Solomon Hill (14 minutes). Rotoworld.com

Brandon Knight (ankle) will play vs. the Thunder on Sunday, but he will come off the bench.

Advice: After an eight-game absence, Knight is finally back. His minutes will probably be held in check and he will might be a little rusty, but his owners will be pumped to have him back in their lineups. Marcus Morris will remain in the starting lineup for now, but his value could take a hit down the stretch. We will let you know how Knight holds up after the game. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Love (back) will not return on Sunday
Kevin Love left Sunday's game vs. the 76ers with a back injury and will not be able to return.

Advice: Love has had problems with his back all season, but the Cavaliers didn't seem to be concerned after the game and the injury isn't thought to be serious. The Cavaliers are off until Thursday which should give him plenty of time to recover, but we will consider him questionable for that game vs. the Heat. If Love needs to miss any time, expect Tristan Thompson to be the primary beneficiary. Love finished with 10 points, 10 boards, one assist, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 31 minutes. Jabari Brown shot just 4-of-14 from the field to score 11 points in 31 minutes on Sunday, but he also contributed one 3-pointer, four rebounds, three assists, four steals and one block.

Advice: The 22-year-old shooting guard has impressed the Lakers since he inked his first 10-day contract, and it's possible that he'll be signed for the rest of the season. Today's defensive stats look like an aberration, however, and he's still only on the radar in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Jordan Clarkson posts 18-7-6 line in loss
Jordan Clarkson looked great during Sunday's loss to the Nets, posting 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting (3-of-4 from the line), seven assists, six rebounds, one 3-pointer and two turnovers through 35 minutes of action.

Advice: Clarkson has really got things rolling during the month of March, posting averages of 14.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. The Lakers are fully committed to developing him, so he'll continue to log heavy minutes as they close out their regular-season. Keep rolling him out there. Rotoworld.com

Tony Allen (hamstring) will not play vs. the Spurs on Sunday.

Advice: Vince Carter will step into the starting lineup, but Jeff Green will probably see the biggest boost in value off the bench. • Iman Shumpert (ankle) will not return Sunday
Iman Shumpert was forced to leave Sunday's game vs. the 76ers and will not be able to return.

Advice: Shumpert was able to walk off the floor under his own power, but the Cavaliers have no reason to risk his health and they may have just decided to keep him out as a precaution. We will update his status once we know more, but we will go ahead and consider him questionable for Thursday's game vs. the Heat. If he is unable to play, J.R. Smith would have to log big minutes while Matthew Dellavedova may see a few extra minutes off the bench as well. Shumpert finished today's game with nine points, three steals and one board in 11 minutes. Rotoworld.com

  • Hassan Whiteside (hand) ruled out vs. Detroit
Hassan Whiteside (hand) will not play vs. the Pistons on Sunday.

Advice: He was questionable to play but Miami ruled him out two hours before tip-off, so presumably his hand remains swollen and painful. The risk of re-tearing the stitches is an even greater concern, and owners will simply have to hope that Whiteside can suit up for Tuesday's game vs. the Spurs. Chris Andersen (calf) is also sidelined on Sunday, so expect heavy minutes for Udonis Haslem and Michael Beasley. Rotoworld.com

  • Kevin Martin (hamstring) out again on Sunday
Kevin Martin (hamstring) will not play vs. the Pelicans on Sunday.

Advice: Martin is targeting a return next week but he remains iffy to play in Monday's game vs. the Jazz, and cautious owners may want to hedge their bets in weekly leagues. The Wolves got a few healthy bodies back into the lineup with Anthony Bennett and Robbie Hummel returning on Sunday, but they'll still lean heavily on sixth-man Chase Budinger. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Despite being healthy, Boozer has spent the past three games on the sidelines as the Lakers try to improve their odds in the draft lottery. • Brandon Knight (ankle) questionable Sunday
Brandon Knight (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Thunder.

Advice: Knight went through a pretty strenuous practice on Saturday and said that he feels like his explosion is back. The Suns desperately need to beat the Thunder to stay alive in the playoff hunt, so there is a good chance that Knight gives it a go. He will likely be a game-time decision again tonight, so his owners will want to check back for an update before activating him in lineups. J.J. Barea (ankle) will not be able to play vs. the Pacers on Sunday.

Advice: The Mavericks desperately could have used Barea tonight with Monta Ellis (calf) out of commission, but instead they will have to lean on Rajon Rondo, Devin Harris, Richard Jefferson and Raymond Felton. This will be Barea's fourth consecutive game on the sidelines, and considering he is still experiencing soreness in his ankle, the Mavericks won't be in a hurry to rush him back. Rotoworld.com

Rodney Stuckey (calf) will play on Sunday vs. the Mavericks.

Advice: Stuckey is returning from a three-game absence due to a calf strain, so it will be interesting to see how he holds up during the game. He isn't a must-own player by any means, but he is worth a look if you need help in scoring. C.J. Watson and C.J. • Hassan Whiteside upgraded to questionable
Hassan Whiteside (hand) has been upgraded to questionable for Sunday's game vs. the Pistons.

Advice: He has missed the last two games with a nasty laceration in his hand that required 10 stitches, but the Heat desperately need his size vs. Andre Drummond and the Pistons. Whiteside will likely be a game-time call, so his owners will have to be on alert for an update. Whiteside belongs in all lineups if he is cleared to play, while Udonis Haslem, Henry Walker and Michael Beasley will all benefit if he is unable to give it a go. For what it's worth, there is still no word on whether or not Chris Andersen will be able to play Sunday, so the Heat may have to get creative with their rotations. Rotoworld.com

  • Russell Westbrook scores 37 points Saturday
Russell Westbrook scored 37 points with eight boards, six assists, three 3-pointers and nine turnovers in a loss to the Jazz on Saturday.

Advice: Westbrook's owners probably didn't even blink twice at this line which speaks volumes about his play recently. Kevin Durant isn't coming back this season, meaning Westbrook will arguably be the top play in fantasy leagues moving forward with the Thunder trying to clinch a playoff berth. Enjoy the show. • Byron Scott praises Jordan Clarkson again
The first thing that head coach Byron Scott noticed in the box score was that Jordan Clarkson finished Friday's game with zero assists, but he still came to the rookie's defense.

Advice: "That’s something that at a young age, he’s going to have to figure out on the fly," said Scott. "He did get in the paint a few times and finish it off. But guys just didn’t make layups or they got fouled and went to the free throw line. He was still unselfish and doing the right things. It just didn’t show up in the stat sheet." Advice: He didn't have an assist tonight, but the scoring numbers are there for Clarkson. He's a good bet to lead the team in points going forward and he should add some steals along with a few other stats along the way. He's worth owning in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

Chris Paul was magnificent against the 76ers during a 119-98 win on Friday with 25 points, three rebounds, seven assists, one steal and three 3-pointers on 9-of-15 from the field in just 30 minutes.

Advice: It was all just too easy for CP3 with 19 points coming in the first half. Paul's offensive game is clicking at the right time, averaging 23.8 points, 4.4 boards, 12.0 dimes, 2.2 steals and 1.8 treys on 55.6 percent from the field and 88.9 percent from the line in his last five. This will be his third surgery on his right foot and he's not a complete lock to be ready for training camp. If Durant needs six months to get back to basketball-related activity, he'll be looking at an October return. After five consecutive seasons of being the number one player in fantasy leagues, Durant's fantasy stock has plummeted more than almost anyone could have imagined. We hope we see the 2013-14 KD next season. Rotoworld.com

Kevin Martin (hamstrings) said his strained hamstrings should be better and good to go by next week.

Advice: He's technically listed as questionable for tonight, but this update suggests he's not going to play. With Martin out, Andrew Wiggins has been playing a ton of minutes while Lorenzo Brown is also getting minutes in the 30s. Chase Budinger also benefits as the best floor-spacing guy on the team. • Brandon Knight (ankle) a game-time decision
Brandon Knight (ankle) will be a game-time decision for Friday's game vs. the Trail Blazers.

Advice: Knight has missed the past seven games, so if he is able to go, he'll likely have his minutes held in check, as his conditioning is likely not where it needs to be. Owners will need to check back for another update closer to tip-off, but with 13 games being played tonight, Knight is not necessarily a must-start guy in standard leagues. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

  • Rose to be cleared for contact next week?
Bulls' head coach Tom Thibodeau said that Derrick Rose (knee) will likely be cleared for contact by next week.

Advice: Rose has been doing some non-contact work for a little over a week now, and he's been making steady progress without experiencing any setbacks, which is welcome news for a guy who has spent much of the past three years on the sidelines. Advice: We'll be considering Barea questionable for that one, and it'll be Devin Harris as the primary beneficiary for however long Barea is out. • Borrego praises Dewayne Dedmon's defense
Magic head coach James Borrego praised Dewayne Dedmon's effort on the defensive end during a recent interview.

Advice: "He gives us energy," Borrego said. "He gives us an edge. He gives us toughness. He challenges shots, passes. And then we have another big guy right next to him there to clog the paint and challenge shots. The length of those two, the size, is a good combination for us defensively." It sounds like Dedmon will remain in the starting lineup as the Magic close out their season, but with averages of just 4.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game as a starter, he can only be viewed as a rebounding and shot-blocking specialist in very deep leagues. Despite solid back-to-back efforts on Tuesday and Wednesday, Jordan Clarkson said he's still not satisfied with his play.

Advice: Despite his line 20 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals, and a block that included the game-winning free throws on Wednesday, Clarkson is still looking for improvement. "I think I took a few steps back," said Clarkson. "I didn’t take care of the ball well. I was holding it a little bit too much on the offensive end. Russell Westbrook didn't make a basket after the first quarter in Wednesday's ugly 130-91 loss to the Spurs, finishing with 16 points, four rebounds, seven assists and two steals on 5-of-16 shooting.

Advice: Given the score, it's pretty easy to understand Westbrook finally having an off night, and it didn't help that he didn't play in the fourth quarter. The good news is that he's healthy and probably really ticked off, and will take his anger out on the poor Jazz on Saturday. He came into this one with seven triple-doubles in his last 14 games. Jabari Brown played a whopping 32 minutes on Wednesday and hit 3-of-4 shots (all 3-pointers) for nine points, four boards, three assists and a steal in an overtime win against Minnesota.

Advice: With the Lakers showing little interest in winning games these days, it's possible that Brown continues to play heavy minutes. Deep-leaguers should keep an eye on him and hope that he continues to try to impress those actually watching the Lakers play. Rotoworld.com

Jordan Clarkson came off his career-high 30-point game and had 20 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals, a block and six turnovers in Wednesday's OT win against the Wolves.

Advice: He also hit two free throws with 0.3 seconds left in overtime to give his team the win. • Kevin Love looks like vintage Love in win
Kevin Love hit 10-of-13 shots and two 3-pointers for 22 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, a steal and two blocks in Wednesday's impressive win over the Grizzlies.

Advice: Many think Love is deferring too much to LeBron, but he just hasn't played well this season. He looked great tonight and the Cavs opened up a 29-point lead over the Grizzlies in the third quarter. LeBron James had 20 points, eight boards, five assists and three 3-pointers, Kyrie Irving added 24 points and two assists, Timofey Mozgov had 14 points, nine boards and a block, and J.R. Smith added 13 points, six assists and three 3-pointers in the cakewalk. Hopefully Love can keep it going, even when they Cavs aren't blowing someone out. Ryan Kelly and Tarik Black will draw the start again, but they are both only options in deeper leagues. Ed Davis and Robert Sacre will also be in the frontcourt rotation, but Davis is the only one worth a look for his upside in blocks. Andrew Bogut snared a game-high 16 rebounds on Tuesday, adding 10 points, six assists and one steal during a high-scoring victory in Portland.

Advice: Bogut's rebounding binge was somewhat predictable -- the Blazers are giving up the seventh-most rebounds per game to opponents this season (44.7) and they were playing without LaMarcus Aldridge, Nicolas Batum and Chris Kaman. Bogut had more boards just once this season, back on Nov. 8, and we're not expecting a repeat performance vs. Marc Gasol and the Grizzlies on Friday. Rotoworld.com

Jordan Clarkson scored a career-high 30 points during Tuesday's loss in Oklahoma City, hitting 12-of-19 FGs with four rebounds, seven assists, one steal and three blocks.

Advice: Two of his makes came from downtown and he committed a tolerable three turnovers in a team-high 36 minutes of action. Jeremy Lin joined Clarkson in the backcourt and it suited both players just fine, as they combined for 49 points on 60.0 percent shooting. Devin Harris will get some more ball-handling responsibilities off the bench following this news and is worth a look in deeper leagues. Rotoworld.com

  • Russell Westbrook triple-doubles yet again
Russell Westbrook put up his 10th triple-double of the season on Sunday, scoring 12 points on 5-of-16 shooting, to go with 10 rebounds, 17 assists, four steals, two blocks and six turnovers over 34 minutes of action.

Advice: Ridiculous. Westbrook become the first player since Jason Kidd to have at least 10 triple-doubles in a season, and he also matched his career-high in assists tonight. He's been absolutely stupendous, and with Serge Ibaka (knee) and Kevin Durant (foot) out for the remainder of the regular-season, Russell is going to continue to flirt with video game-like lines. As a reminder, Westbrook was taken No. 4 overall on draft day, only behind Derrick Rose, Michael Beasley, and O.J. Mayo. Rotoworld.com

  • Lou Amundson scoreless in 16 minutes
Lou Amundson didn't score in 16 minutes vs. the Raptors on Sunday, missing all three of his field goals and both of his free throws.

Advice: The nine-year veteran did chip in seven rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block, but he lost substantial playing time to backup big man Jason Smith (three points, three boards in 23 minutes). Neither guy is worth owning while they're locked in a value-killing timeshare at PF/C. Rotoworld.com

  • Chris Paul guides Clippers to 107-100 victory
Chris Paul led the Clippers to a 107-100 win vs. the Pelicans on Sunday, scoring 23 points with seven rebounds, 11 assists and four steals.

Advice: He did his damage in 38 minutes and he's averaging a stellar 22.3 points, 11.3 assists and 1.6 steals since the All-Star break. The No. 5 seed Clippers are in the thick of the playoff race with 2.5 games separating the No. 7 and No. 3 seeds, so CP3's owners shouldn't have to worry about precautionary DNPs this week. • Kevin Love struggles with shot on Sunday
Kevin Love struggled with his shot during Sunday's win over the Bucks, scoring just nine points on 4-of-13 shooting, with three rebounds, two assists, one 3-pointer and two turnovers through 29 minutes of action.

Advice: Love did not leave the bench during the fourth quarter as the game turned into a blowout, but consistency continues to be an issue for Cleveland's third-wheel. He's scored nine, 11, 10, eight, and 21 points in his previous five outings, and there's really no telling when the good Love is going to show up. He usually does enough in the rebounding and 3-point categories to balance out the minimal scoring production, but he's simply not the guy owners thought they were buying on draft day. Rotoworld.com

  • Dewayne Dedmon (ankle) out Sunday vs. DEN
Dewayne Dedmon (ankle) will remain sidelined for Sunday's game vs. the Nuggets.

Advice: Channing Frye (illness) is also out tonight, which means Kyle O'Quinn, Andrew Nicholson and Aaron Gordon will combine to fill the void at power forward. O'Quinn would be the best option if he gets sufficient playing time, but Andrew Nicholson is also worth a look as Orlando's fill-in starter. Rotoworld.com

  • Dewayne Dedmon will be a game-time call
Dewayne Dedmon (ankle) will be a game-time decision on Sunday vs. the Nuggets.

Advice: Dedmon has been sidelined for the past two games which has forced the Magic to turn to the veteran Channing Frye, but he has been pretty underwhelming. We will let you know if Dedmon is cleared to play, and even though he would likely reclaim his spot in the starting lineup, he is only worth a look for owners in need of blocks and boards. • Andrew Bogut plays 30 minutes
Andrew Bogut played 30 minutes against the Jazz on Saturday with eight points, eight rebounds, five assists, one steal and three blocks.

Advice: He had some fantastic passes tonight and he's playing some of his best ball right now. Bogut did only play 15 minutes on Friday and the Warriors absolutely won't be playing him 30 minutes very often. He should have decent value in home games and will be worth starting on those nights.
