    • Ronnie Price plays 29 minutes vs. Bulls
Ronnie Price played 29 minutes during a 113-93 loss against the Bulls on Christmas, making 3-of-7 from the field for seven points with eight rebounds, three steals and one 3-pointer.

Advice: It's been a straight split for Price at point guard in his previous eight starts, averaging 6.4 points, 1.8 boards, 4.2 assists, 1.9 steals and 0.6 triples on 33.3 percent from the field in 23.8 minutes per game. He's only worth owning in deep leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Jeremy Lin takes a step back on Thursday
Jeremy Lin scored six points with one rebound, two assists and two steals on 2-of-8 from the field against the Bulls on Thursday.

Advice: He had a nice game on Tuesday, but couldn't get anything going tonight. Over his last 13 games, Lin has averaged just 7.6 points, 2.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 0.8 steals, 1.6 turnovers and 0.7 triples on 32.7 percent from the field. That's not going to get it done for fantasy owners in standard leagues, so his owners should have their eyes peeled for a pickup. Rotoworld.com

    • Wayne Ellington scores 12 in start again
Wayne Ellington scored 12 points in a start for Kobe Bryant on Thursday with two rebounds, two assists and one 3-pointer in 35 minutes against the Bulls.

Advice: He basically grabbed all of Kobe's minutes tonight and scored 12 for the second consecutive game. Ellington is a solid shooter and the Lakers could use his range, so he'll be worth a plug-and-play on the nights Kobe sits. Rotoworld.com

    • Wes Johnson plays well without Kobe
Wes Johnson was busy in the starting lineup against the Bulls on Thursday, making 6-of-18 from the field for a season-high 19 points with nine rebounds, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers in 34 minutes.

Advice: He crushed his season high for field goal attempts and set a new high for free throw makes (five) in the loss. Johnson only has a usage rate of 13.0 on the season, so the high volume tonight is a surprise even with Kobe Bryant out. He is still worth owning in standard leagues for his output on defense and treys. Rotoworld.com

    • Ramon Sessions (back) iffy for Friday
Ramon Sessions is listed as questionable for Friday's game due to a lower back strain.

Advice: If he's out it should just mean more minutes for Darren Collison. Sessions will only be worth using in fantasy leagues if Collison goes down with an injury. Rotoworld.com

    • Dwyane Wade scores 31 as Heat beat Cavs
Dwyane Wade hit 21-of-28 shots and two 3-pointers for 31 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals and a block in Thursday's 101-91 win over the Cavs.

Advice: Wade is healthy again and getting it done, but he was bothered by his sore knee at times tonight. Hopefully he'll continue to play through the pain. Rotoworld.com
      Today, 5:30 pm
    • Chalmers, Cole struggle in win over Cavs
Mario Chalmers started at point guard on Thursday but hit just 2-of-12 shots and a 3-pointer for five points, six assists and a steal.

Advice: Norris Cole played 34 minutes off the bench but wasn't much better, finishing with eight points, five assists and a steal on 2-of-7 shooting. Chalmers is the guy you want to own out of these two, but he's proven to be a much more effective player when Dwyane Wade is in street clothes, which wasn't the case tonight. Rotoworld.com

    • Dion Waiters quiet in Thursday's loss
Dion Waiters hit just 3-of-8 shots and a 3-pointer for eight points, six rebounds, two assists, three steals and two blocks in 28 minutes.

Advice: His steals and blocks helped make up for a lack of scoring today and Waiters will continue to be a hit-or-miss player on most nights as long as he's coming off the bench. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyrie Irving injures left knee in loss
Kyrie Irving hit 10-of-19 shots and a 3-pointer for 25 points, four rebounds, three assists, a steal and just two turnovers in Thursday's loss to the Heat, but also hurt his left knee late in the game.

Advice: He injured the same knee against the Thunder earlier this season and was clearly in pain as the game ended tonight. He had his foot stepped on and then came down very awkwardly on his left leg, which is when he injured the knee and suffered a contusion. For now consider him day-to-day, but the fact an MRI wasn't needed is great news. If he's going to miss time, Matthew Dellavedova would likely take over at point guard for the Cavs. Rotoworld.com

    • Wayne Ellington starting again for Lakers
Wayne Ellington will start at shooting guard for the Lakers on Thursday, as Kobe Bryant will miss another game in order to rest his sore body.

Advice: Ellington had 12 points, five boards, a steal and two 3-pointers in a start on Tuesday, and should offer more of the same tonight and Friday. Kobe's not expected to play on Friday, either, but should be ready to return shortly after that. Rotoworld.com

    • Manu Ginobili hands out 13 assists in SA loss
Manu Ginobili dished out a season-high 13 assists during the Spurs' loss to the Thunder on Christmas, adding 11 points, seven rebounds, one steal, one 3-pointer, and five turnovers.

Advice: Ginobili has been playing well lately, and is averaging 16.8 points, 6.6 assists, and 2.0 three-pointers per game over the past two weeks. The Spurs play the second half of a back-to-back set tomorrow, so owners will want to check back for an update on Ginobili's status in case coach Gregg Popovich feels like handing out a DNP-OLD to one of his veteran stars. • Kirk Hinrich (hamstring) out on Christmas
Kirk Hinrich (hamstring) will not suit up for the Bulls' Christmas Day game vs. the Lakers.

Advice: With Hinrich unavailable, Aaron Brooks will see some increased minutes off the bench in what will be a favorable matchup vs. the Lakers. Brooks has scored in double figures in his past four outings and looks like a quality plug-and-play option in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Danny Green struggles with shot in SA loss
Danny Green shot 4-of-13 from the field (2-of-5 from the line) for 12 points during the Spurs' Christmas Day loss to the Thunder, adding two rebounds, two assists, two steals, one block, and two turnovers.

Advice: Green's all-around production is what makes him an elite option, so even when he struggles to score, he's still capable of providing quality statistics in other areas. He had a difficult matchup vs. the Thunder tonight, but he'll likely bounce-back on Friday in what will be a favorable matchup vs. the Pelicans. Keep rolling him out there. Rotoworld.com

    • Russell Westbrook dominant in Thunder win
Russell Westbrook looked dominant during the Thunder's Christmas Day win over the Spurs, scoring 34 points on 14-of-28 shooting (6-of-8 from the line) to go with 11 assists, five rebounds, a season-high five steals, and four turnovers.

Advice: Westbrook was aggressive all game long, and he has definitely entered the conversation as an MVP candidate with averages of 28.2 points, 7.1 assists, 5.8 rebounds, 2.0 steals, and 1.0 three-pointer per game. His 3.8 turnovers per game are unfortunate, but given the elite value he bumps into all the surrounding categories, it's easy to forgive the miscues. Rotoworld.com

    • Shawn Marion back in the starting lineup
Shawn Marion will start at power forward for Cleveland's Christmas Day game vs. Miami, with Kevin Love shifting over to the center spot.

Advice: It's surprising that Marion, and not Tristan Thompson, will be starting tonight with Anderson Varejao (Achillies) done for the season. We'll be monitoring the Cavs' rotations closely over the coming weeks, but despite the fact that Thompson is not starting, he should still be owned in all leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Jose Calderon goes for 16-4-4 in Knicks' loss
Jose Calderon scored 16 points on 5-of-14 shooting to go with four rebounds, four assists, and two 3-pointers during the Knicks' Christmas Day loss to the Wizards.

Advice: Calderon looks to finally be turning the corner after a rough start to the season, and is averaging 16.0 points, 5.0 assists, and 2.0 three-pointers over the past week. He doesn't have much competition for minutes, so he should be able to maintain his current pace. Rotoworld.com

    • Tony Allen (eye) returns to practice Thursday
Tony Allen (eye) returned to practice on Thursday, and is looking probable for Friday's game vs. Houston.

Advice: Memphis is no longer listing Allen on their injury report, so it's looking very likely he will return to the lineup for a difficult matchup vs. the Rockets. His return will likely send Tayshaun Prince back to the bench, and hurt the limited value of Vince Carter. Check back for an official update on Allen's status closer to Friday's tip. Rotoworld.com

    • Bradley Beal scores 17 points with full line
Bradley Beal scored 17 points during the Wizards' Christmas Day win over the Knicks, adding five rebounds, five assists, two 3-pointers, one steal, and two turnovers.

Advice: Beal has now recorded at least one steal in his past seven outing, and he's currently putting up mid-round value on the year with averages of 15.1 points, 3.0 assists, 1.6 steals, and 1.8 three-pointers per game. He's a primary component of the Wizards’ offense, and will continue to be a reliable source of points, 3-pointers, and steals. Rotoworld.com

    • John Wall dominates Knicks with 24-11-6 line
John Wall looked fabulous against the Knicks on Christmas, scoring 24 points on 10-of-17 shooting with 11 assists, six rebounds, one 3-pointer, one steal, and three turnovers.

Advice: Wall basically did whatever he wanted today, and the Knicks looked like they didn't get the "no gifts" memo. John Wall currently leads the league with the most 20-point, 10-assist games this season with nine, and he's second in the league in assist per game with 10.4. He's putting up early-round value, and has established himself as an elite point guard in the league. Enjoy. Rotoworld.com

    • Marco Belinellli will start vs Thunder Thurs
Marco Belinelli will draw the start against the Thunder on Thursday.

Advice: Belinelli will replace Kyle Anderson in the Spurs' starting lineup as Kawhi Leonard (hand) remains out. Belinelli has averaged 12.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 0.7 steals, and 1.0 three-pointers as a starter, so makes for a decent plug-and-play option on Thursday. Rotoworld.com

    • Kawhi Leonard remains out indefinitely
Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said Kawhi Leonard (hand) remains out indefinitely.

Advice: Popovich played coy by saying that Leonard could come back tomorrow, two weeks from now, or even beyond that. Besides the vague statement, Pop did add that Leonard can't injure himself any further, so there is a good chance we see him back on the court sooner rather than later. In the meantime, Manu Ginobili, Kyle Anderson, and Marco Belinelli will continue to see a boost in their fantasy value. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich said Mills was cleared to practice two days ago, but Mills isn't expected to see game action until mid-January, at the earliest. He'll only be worth a look by owners in deeper leagues, at least as long as Tony Parker is somewhat healthy. Rotoworld.com

Patrick Beverley (illness) is questionable for Friday's game against the Grizzlies.

Advice: Beverley will head into Friday's game as a potential game-time decision, while James Harden (hamstring) and Dwight Howard (knee) are both listed as probable. We'll update Beverley's status after shootaround, but Isaiah Canaan would be in line for a spot-start if Beverley is unable to go. Rotoworld.com

    • Iman Shumpert on court taking shots Thursday
Iman Shumpert (shoulder) was on the court taking shots before the Knicks' Christmas Day game against the Wizards.

Advice: It's been two weeks since Shumpert dislocated his left shoulder, so it's a good sign to see him back on the court taking shots. He's still a ways away from his targeted mid-January return, so fantasy owners who picked up Tim Hardaway Jr. should enjoy a few more weeks of productivity. Rotoworld.com

Advice: Updating a previous item, it seems as if Smith is feeling well enough to be upgraded from doubtful to a game-time decision. This one looks like it will come down to the wire, but Tim Hardaway Jr. would be the biggest fantasy beneficiary if Smith sits. Rotoworld.com

"Right now it’s a no," Smith said of his availability for Thursday. "We’ll see how the treatment reacts today, if it swells up." • Nuggets receive inquiries on Wilson Chandler
The Nuggets have received trade inquiries on Wilson Chandler, but would like to keep him in Denver, according to Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post.

Advice: Dempsey reports that the Nuggets have received trade inquiries from a few teams, but would prefer to hold onto Chandler. The Nuggets may entertain those inquiries if they slip in the standings over the next few weeks as Chandler is having the best season of his career and could fetch a handsome return. With season averages of 14.0 points, 6.0 boards, 1.3 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.4 blocks, and 2.2 three-pointers, Chandler is worth owning in all standard fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com

Kawhi Leonard (hand) has been listed as out for Thursday's game against the Thunder.

Advice: There was some optimism that he would play on Christmas, but it doesn't look like it. Leonard's damage to his hand doesn't sound too serious and hopefully he can make it back on the court at some point in 2014. • Kawhi Leonard (hand) hopes to play Thursday
Kawhi Leonard (hand) has reportedly told some of his closest associates that he thinks he will be able to play on Christmas vs. the Thunder.

Advice: Coach Gregg Popovich recently said that he doesn't expect to have him in the lineup anytime soon, so this report should be taken with a grain of salt. The Spurs have always been cautious with their players, so it is still unlikely that we will see him take the floor. Owners will want to check back before tip-off just in case, but if Leonard sits out for the fifth game in a row then it will be up to Kyle Anderson and Danny Green to fill the void. Rotoworld.com

Wayne Ellington filled in at SG for Kobe Bryant (rest) on Tuesday, scoring 12 points with two 3-pointers, five rebounds, two assists and one steal in 25 minutes of action.

Advice: Much will be made of the Lakers' success without Kobe dominating the offense, but the Black Mamba will only relinquish control during the handful of games he sits out for rest. Ellington is only worth a look as a deep-league source of scoring and 3-pointers. Rotoworld.com

    • Ronnie Price scores season-high 17 points
Ronnie Price scored a season-high 17 points on Tuesday vs. the Warriors, adding eight assists, four boards, three steals and three 3-pointers in 31 minutes.

Advice: It was easily his best game of the season and this should help him fend off Jeremy Lin and Jordan Clarkson for the time being. However, the Lakers have no reason to develop the 31-year-old veteran so it would not be surprising to see him replaced in the starting lineup down the stretch. Price should not be owned in standard leagues unless he does the impossible and strings together a few more games like this. Rotoworld.com

    • Jeremy Lin plays well in Lakers win Tuesday
Jeremy Lin had a solid game on Tuesday in a win over the Warriors, finishing with 11 points, five assists, one board, three steals and three 3-pointers in 25 minutes.

Advice: Kobe Bryant was rested on Tuesday, so Lin got another chance to impress in extended minutes off of the bench. He has had a tough season in Los Angeles, but if the Lakers continue to fall behind in the Western Conference it wouldn't be surprising to see Lin's minutes trend upwards as Bryant's spiral down. • Dwyane Wade (knee) scores 23 points in return
Dwyane Wade (knee) returned to action on Tuesday with 23 points, five rebounds, six assists and three turnovers in 34 minutes vs. the visiting Sixers.

Advice: "I got some of the swelling out of [the knee] and got some good rest. I’m ready to go," Wade said before the game. He shot 9-of-21 from the field and 5-of-7 from the FT line, and didn't seem bothered by the injury, so owners should expect to have him available for Wednesday's matchup with the Cavaliers. • Mario Chalmers logs 39 minutes alongside Wade
Mario Chalmers played 39 minutes on Tuesday despite Dwyane Wade (knee) returning to the starting lineup, scoring 11 points with five rebounds, three assists, two steals and four turnovers.

Advice: He shot 4-of-8 from the field with one 3-pointer and tonight's performance was good enough for most fantasy owners. Chalmers has been struggling over the past two weeks, shooting 34.9 percent from the field and 73.3 percent at the FT line. The starting PG job is his to lose, making him worth a 'hold' recommendation in leagues with 12 or more teams. Rotoworld.com

Russell Westbrook poured in a season-high 40 points in a losing effort on Tuesday, hitting 16-of-34 FGs and 7-of-9 FTs with one 3-pointer, 10 rebounds, six assists and three steals.

Advice: Westbrook played Superman for the evening with Kevin Durant (ankle) sidelined again, and he racked up those gaudy numbers with only two turnovers before fouling out after 39 minutes. He's locked into first-round value and won't budge as long as he's healthy. Rotoworld.com

Dion Waiters was the first player off Cleveland's bench on Tuesday, finishing the Cavs' third straight victory with 19 points on 5-of-12 FGs and 7-of-8 FTs.

Advice: He made some great plays and had a few head-scratchers, as usual, but Cavs fans must be encouraged by his play over the past two games. He chipped in two 3-pointers, four assists and three steals while turning the ball over four times, and we'll need to see him keep up this pace for a few more games before considering him in 12-team leagues. Bradley Beal survived an elbow to the head during Tuesday's game vs. Chicago, scoring 15 points on 6-of-12 shooting with a pair of 3-pointers.

Advice: He chipped in three rebounds, three assists, two steals and one block, and he's now piled up 15 steals over Washington's past six games. Beal has been a solid mid-round value since returning from his season-opening wrist injury, and should flirt with top-40 value if he continues to rack up defensive stats. Rotoworld.com

    • Wayne Ellington to draw the start on Tuesday
Wayne Ellington will draw the start in place of Kobe Bryant (rest) on Tuesday.

Advice: Ellington is a solid 3-point shooter, but he struggles to contribute in other areas of the box score. Instead, Nick Young is the biggest beneficiary here and should be able to take as many 3-pointers as his heart desires. Get Swaggy P in all lineups and enjoy the show. Rotoworld.com

Tony Allen (eye) is questionable for Friday's game against the Rockets.

Advice: Tayshaun Prince has started the last two with Allen sidelined, but his contributions to the stat sheet have been negligible (zero points in his last outing). Manu Ginobili said he feels recharged after sitting out Saturday's game against the Mavericks.

I needed to unplug, so I played with my kids and tried to do something else." Danny Green played 29 minutes against the Clippers on Monday with 11 points, one rebound, five assists, one steal, one block and three 3-pointers.

Advice: He was extremely quiet in the first half, but turned it on late with a huge corner 3-pointer to help ice this one. Green is putting up first-round value on the season, but he'll eventually slow down. Also, the next time he isn't in the starting lineup, it should raise a red flag. Rotoworld.com

    • Manu Ginobili plays well in 27 minutes
Manu Ginobili scored 19 points with two rebounds, 10 assists and two 3-pointers in 27 minutes against the Clippers on Monday.

Advice: He did suffer a mild injury to his shoulder late in this game, which is concerning considering he has already missed a game due to a shoulder injury. The Spurs are off until Thursday, so this issue might not cost him a game. The DNPs are going to be too annoying in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Kirk Hinrich strains his hamstring
Kirk Hinrich suffered a left hamstring strain on Monday and did not return.

Advice: While Derrick Rose is healthy, there is no reason to bring Hinrich back from his injury. He exited with three points, two rebounds, one assist, one 3-pointer and three turnovers. Rotoworld.com

    • Wilson Chandler plays 21 minutes
Wilson Chandler played 21 minutes against the Hornets on Monday with eight points, nine rebounds and one block.

Advice: He picked up some minutes at power forward tonight and he should see an overall increase to his value while Danilo Gallinari (knee) is on the shelf. Chandler is worth owning in standard leagues and perhaps owners can use this dud to try and buy low on him. Rotoworld.com

    • Kawhi Leonard (hand) expected to miss time
Kawhi Leonard (hand) is not expected to return to the lineup anytime soon, according to coach Gregg Popovich.

Advice: He had another injection on his hand, may need offseason surgery, and his doctor said he hasn't seen an injury like this before. The Spurs do not play their guys at less than 100 percent and they're going to allow Leonard to heal. His fantasy owners have no choice but to bench him and hope he'll make it back in early 2015. While he's out Kyle Anderson will likely get more starts, but he's not a great fantasy option. Marco Belinelli will also play more. Rotoworld.com

    • Russell Westbrook will take less treys?
Russell Westbrook said he might take less 3-pointers this season.

Advice: "Yeah, but I'm still missing a lot of them," Westbrook said. "I honestly need to stop taking as many as I'm taking to tell you the truth. I'm gonna take those down as the season goes along." He has never really been an elite shooter at just 39.4 percent from beyond the arc, but the threat of him shooting treys makes him a deadly scorer. Whatever he does, he's going to dominate on the stat sheet. Rotoworld.com

Tony Allen (eye) currently has no timetable to return.

Advice: Allen is dealing with a corneal abrasion, and it's hard to even speculate how long he might miss with the eye injury. While he's sidelined, look for Quincy Pondexter, Vince Carter and Tayshaun Prince to all fill in for the Grizzlies. Rotoworld.com

JR Smith (foot) could be facing more than just a "day-to-day" situation.

Advice: Derek Fisher said Smith "may not have been day-to-day," but the Knicks listed him that way anyway on the medical report. Fisher then attempted to clarify with the following: "I think it's day-to-day. From the beginning, it may not have been day-to-day. It was probably going to be a few weeks or so." It's not clear when Smith might actually return yet, and Tim Hardaway, Jr. will continue seeing increased minutes with Iman Shumpert (shoulder) also out. Rotoworld.com

    • Jeremy Lin plays just 21 minutes off of bench
Jeremy Lin played just 21 minutes off the bench on Sunday vs. the Kings, ending the game with four points, five assists and three boards.

Advice: Coach Byron Scott is sticking to his plan of keeping Ronnie Price in the starting lineup for now, and Lin's value continues to plummet. Lin may redeem himself later on if the Lakers opt to rest Kobe Bryant down the stretch, but for now owners in standard leagues should look for another option. Rotoworld.com

    • Ramon Sessions (back) picks up DNP-CD
Ramon Sessions (back) was available for Sunday's game but he did not leave the Kings' bench.

Advice: Darren Collison logged 40 minutes as the team's starting PG and rookie Ray McCallum chipped in a pair of rebounds and assists in 11 minutes off the bench, allowing the Kings to rest Sessions a while longer. We're taking him off the injury report, and he should resume a 10-20 minute role vs. the Warriors on Monday. Rotoworld.com

    • Russell Westbrook drops 29 points in loss
Russell Westbrook dropped 29 points on 10-of-27 shooting in Sunday's loss to the Pelicans, adding eight assists, five boards and three steals in 35 minutes.

Advice: He was criticized for not passing the ball enough during Sunday's loss, but it's tough to blame him given how well he has played this season. "When we won eight in a row nobody said nothing about not passing," Westbrook said, "so I don't want to hear it now." He's been playing at an MVP level and has earned the right to shoot at will, especially with Kevin Durant (ankle) sidelined. Expect Westbrook to answer his critics and take out his frustration against Portland on Tuesday. Rotoworld.com

    • John Wall struggles in loss to Suns on Sunday
John Wall struggled in a loss against the Suns on Sunday, shooting just 5-of-15 from the field and finishing with 14 points, eight assists, five boards and three steals in 38 minutes.

Advice: The fact that he was struggling in this game and still managed to put up these kinds of numbers speaks volumes about how well he has played recently. Wall is spoiling his owners this season and he's easily become one of the elite point guards in the NBA. Rotoworld.com

    • Dwyane Wade (knee) to be re-evaluated Monday
Dwyane Wade (knee) will be re-evaluated on Monday to determine his status for Tuesday's game against the 76ers.

Advice: He sat out on Sunday to get some additional rest, but the good news is that he is dealing with a just a bruise to his knee. We will update his status on Monday, but expect Norris Cole and Mario Chalmers to pick up the slack if Wade sits on Tuesday. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyrie Irving ties career-high with 12 assists
Kyrie Irving tied his career-high with 12 assists vs. the Grizzlies on Sunday, while adding 17 points on 8-of-13 shooting, one 3-pointer and three rebounds.

Advice: Irving committed only two turnovers in 37 minutes and improved efficiency has been a welcome boost for his fantasy value, as he's averaging career-best numbers in True Shooting (56.7 percent) and turnover rate (8.8 percent). His usage rate has predictably fallen off with LeBron James and Kevin Love in town, but that hasn't stopped Irving from producing at a top-15 level in 9-cat leagues. Rotoworld.com

Dion Waiters got hot during Sunday's win over the Grizzlies, finishing with 21 points on 9-of-16 shooting, two 3-pointers, two rebounds, one assist, one steal and four turnovers in 28 minutes.

Advice: He never left the bench during the second half of Friday's game, but scored 13 of his points in the fourth quarter on Sunday. The Cavs have too many offensive weapons to expect this caliber of performance more than occasionally from Waiters, who hadn't even cracked top-200 fantasy value through Cleveland's first 25 games. • Jose Calderon goes for 15 & 10 vs. Toronto
Jose Calderon put up 15 points and 10 assists against his former team on Sunday, while adding one 3-pointer, three rebounds, and two turnovers.

Advice: Calderon is averaging just 8.5 points, 3.9 assists, and 1.5 three-pointers per game this season over 30 minutes of action. However, his numbers have been trending up lately, and he's scored 15, 21, and 12 points in his last three outings. He remains a buy-low candidate, but with New York being the mess that they are, there are no guarantees he turns things around. Rotoworld.com

    • Kawhi Leonard, Tony Parker won't play Monday
Kawhi Leonard (hand) and Tony Parker (hamstring) have both been ruled out for Monday's game vs. the Clippers.

Advice: Leonard was reportedly targeting Monday for his return, so the early cancellation of the plan isn't a great sign for his fantasy owners. The silver lining is that San Antonio also plays on Thursday, Friday and Sunday, so both Leonard and Parker could potentially have three-game weeks despite Monday's DNP. Until those two get back on the court, Kyle Anderson and Cory Joseph are the biggest fantasy winners. Rotoworld.com

Advice: This will be the first game that Wade misses this season due to a knee injury, but he does have a history with knee injuries, so we'll be watching this situation closely. Advice: If Wade is forced to sit on Sunday, Mario Chalmers is going to get all the run he can handle, and will serve as a quality option in daily leagues. Iman Shumpert's dislocated left shoulder will not require surgery, and he will be re-evaluated in a few weeks.

Advice: "I wanted to get back on the court as soon as possible. But it’s a healing process," said Shumpert. "It’s a lot better now that it’s back in place. I don’t need any medication or anything for it, just ice." With both Shumpert and J.R. Derek Fisher was not optimistic when asked about J.R. Smith (heel), and speculated that he could be out another week in order to rest his heel.

Advice: For as long as Smith is sidelined, Tim Hardaway Jr. will continue to soak up all his minutes, and he should be owned in most leagues. Over the past two weeks, Hardaway Jr. is averaging 15.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 1.8 three-pointers per game over 29 minutes of action and he has almost zero competition for minutes. Kyrie Irving was named the USA Basketball Male Athlete of the Year after helping team USA bring home the gold at FIBA World Cup this summer.

Advice: The award could have also easily gone to Anthony Davis, Kenneth Faried, or James Harden, but Irving did his part too with averages of 12.11 points, 3.6 assists, 2.6 boards and 1.9 steals per game. • Wilson Chandler scores four points
Wilson Chandler could not get it going against the Pacers on Saturday with four points, three rebounds, one block and one 3-pointer.

Advice: He made 1-of-10 from the field and is in a mini-slump from beyond the arc, making just three of his last 15 attempts. Chandler is still getting solid minutes even with Danilo Gallinari suddenly coming on. He's still worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Marco Belinelli scores 21 points in start
Marco Belinelli scored a team-high 21 points against the Mavs on Saturday with three rebounds, two assists and five turnovers.

Advice: He played 39 minutes in the starting lineup with the Spurs resting most of their wing guys. Belinelli has been good on the nights he gets heavy minutes, but the problem is that doesn't happen often enough. He'll have a big night again, so keep him in mind the next time the Spurs rest numerous players. Rotoworld.com

    • Patrick Beverley fouls out on Saturday
Patrick Beverley fouled out in 41 points against the Hawks on Saturday with 14 points, seven rebounds, three assists, one steal and four 3-pointers.

Advice: His output in treys has been huge and it's a big reason why the Rockets are not in the hunt for a point guard in the trade market. Beverley has seen his field goal shooting dip to 36.5 percent over his last five, averaging 11.8 points, 6.8 boards, 4.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.0 treys. He's a low-end No. 2 fantasy point guard. • Stealth Pop: Danny Green, Tiago Splitter DNPs
Danny Green and Tiago Splitter have been benched for Saturday's game against the Mavericks.

Advice: He was not listed in the starting lineup and coach Gregg Popovich just kept them on the bench. Green has played magnificent basketball and certainly deserved the night off. • Ramon Sessions (back strain) iffy for Sunday
Ramon Sessions (strained lower back) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Lakers.

    • Marco Belinelli set to start on Saturday
Marco Belinelli will start on Saturday vs. Dallas, replacing Danny Green.

Advice: Green will come off of the bench in an effort to monitor his playing time after playing 44 minutes on Friday, so this is by no means a permanent move. Belinelli is worth a look in deeper leagues for owners in need of 3-pointers, and will also be a decent plug-and-play option Saturday. Rotoworld.com
      Saturday, 4:37 pm
    • Danny Green to come off bench on Saturday
Danny Green will come off of the bench on Saturday vs. Dallas.

Advice: There is nothing to worry about here, as coach Gregg Popovich is likely doing this to reduce Green's workload after playing 44 minutes on Friday. Marco Belinelli will draw the start, and is a sneaky plug-and-play option. Green's owners should temper their expectations for this contest, as we don't see him playing too many minutes Saturday. • Jose Calderon scores 21 points vs. Suns
Jose Calderon matched his season high of 21 points against the Suns on Saturday with five rebounds, three assists and five 3-pointers.

Advice: Finally. Calderon didn't make more than one triple in any of his previous five games and he didn't make above 47 percent from the field in any of those games either. The Knicks should give him more triples these days, so his owners can probably expect him to get it going in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Wes Johnson (ankle) expected to play Sunday
Wes Johnson (ankle) did not practice on Saturday and expects to play on Sunday against the Kings.

Advice: He suffered a mild tweak on Friday, but he still played 28 minutes and looked OK. Johnson has consistently seen playing time, but he is not getting many shots. His fantasy value will have a lot to do with his defense, so there is very little upside. He's still worth a look as a specialist. Rotoworld.com

Ronnie Price scored a season-high 14 points with four 3-pointers and three assists over 26 minutes in Friday's loss to the Thunder.

Jeremy Lin scored 12 points on 5-of-7 shooting with eight rebounds and five assists in 22 minutes off the bench on Friday.

Advice: Lin didn't hit a three or record a steal or block but this is a reminder that he is capable of being a fantasy asset. He's going to be inconsistent and probably a late-round guy as long as he doesn't face-plant, but if Kobe Bryant ever decides this season isn't worth blowing out the odometer then Lin could get hot real quick. Russell Westbrook scored 31 points on 9-of-22 shooting (13-of-13 FTs) with five rebounds, 10 assists and one steal in Friday's win over the Lakers.

Advice: Westbrook is producing at a top-5 level in 8-cat leagues since his return and a top-8 level in 9-cat formats. With or without Kevin Durant on the court, he could easily continue this pace and he's currently in the MVP conversation. Rotoworld.com

Danny Green scored 27 points on 9-of-21 shooting (including six threes) with 10 rebounds and one steal over 44 minutes in Friday's triple-overtime loss to the Blazers.

Advice: Green is returning top 15-25 value (9/8 cat) and while he's getting heavy run this week with the absences and overtime games, his production isn't the outlier that many believe it to be. The real difference in his value lies in the increase in trust and minutes that Gregg Popovich has been willing to give him this season, and it would be pretty surprising if he's not a top-40 play at the end of the year. Manu Ginobili logged 30 minutes in Friday's triple-overtime loss, scoring 11 points on 5-of-17 shooting with five rebounds, five assists and six turnovers.

Advice: Ginobili should be considered questionable for Saturday's game in Dallas, but because there's nothing official we're leaving him off the injury report. With Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard out he should be in most lineups when active. Rotoworld.com

    • Chalmers scores 14 points with five assists
Mario Chalmers scored 14 points on 4-of-9 shooting (including two threes) with three rebounds and five assists in Friday's loss.

Dwyane Wade scored 28 points on 12-of-26 shooting (including two threes) with four rebounds, eight assists and one steal in Friday's loss.

Advice: Wade is getting a ton of looks right now and owners should do what they can to move him while he's producing like this. The Heat aren't going to run him into the ground just so they can get trounced in the first round of the playoffs, if they make it that far. Rotoworld.com

Mario Chalmers will start at point guard on Friday night against the Wizards.

Players will fight through torn ligaments in their hands all the time and it has a lot to do with the location of the tear. Advice: "Something kind of torn in there; a little bit of mucked up stuff," coach Gregg Popovich said. Leonard may be dealing with a small tear to one of his tendons. He's not going to play on Friday and could miss additional games. Leonard was starting to come on and flirting with first-round value besides his slow start. Marco Belinelli and Boris Diaw also benefit sans Kawhi. Rotoworld.com

    • Tony Allen (eye) out Friday vs. Chicago
Tony Allen (right corneal abrasion) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Bulls.

Advice: Quincy Pondexter will likely draw the start, while Vince Carter will see extended minutes off the bench. Carter logged 41 minutes during his last outing with Allen sidelined, and put up 18 points with five 3-pointers, he does however have a difficult matchup against the Bulls, so Carter remains a risky option in daily leagues. • Shawn Marion will come off the bench
Shawn Marion will come off the bench on Friday night.

Advice: He's likely to stay there as the Cavs look to add some offense and spacing to their starting unit. Marion's usage rate was in the toilet anyway, so a move to the bench won't hurt his low fantasy value much. Rotoworld.com

    • Tony Allen (eye) questionable Friday vs. CHI
Tony Allen (right corneal abrasion) is questionable to play Friday vs. the Bulls.

Advice: If Allen is forced to sit, Quincy Pondexter would likely draw another start, but he doesn't do enough statistically to be considered an option in most leagues. While Allen averages 25.8 minutes per game, he's not a large part of the offense (6.5 FGAs per game) so his absence doesn't have too much of a statistical impact on the player replacing him. • J.R. Smith (foot) doubtful Saturday vs. PHO
J.R. Smith (foot) is being listed as doubtful for Saturday's game vs. the Suns.

Advice: Smith has been a train wreck this season, and given his obvious struggles with grasping the triangle offense, he shouldn't be viewed as a stash candidate in standard leagues. If he's unable to go Saturday, Tim Hardaway Jr. will get all the minutes he can handle, and he'd make for a quality option in daily leagues. Stay tuned. Rotoworld.com

    • Dwyane Wade says he's over stomach virus
Dwyane Wade said that he's completely over his stomach virus.

Advice: The virus really didn't limit him too much at all, as he went off for a season-high 42 points during his last outing. Wade is going to be asked to carry Miami's offense while Chris Bosh (calf) is sidelined, and he remains an excellent option in daily leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Russell Westbrook scores 33 points in loss
Russell Westbrook scored 33 points against the Warriors on Thursday on 11-of-30 from the field and 8-of-12 from the line, adding three rebounds, eight assists, two steals, six turnovers and three 3-pointers.

Advice: It was the Russell Westbrook Show -- a great show, by the way -- in the second half as he posted a ridiculous usage rate of 46.5 to go with an assist percentage of 27.3. Westbrook is easily of the best players in the league and all of his naysayers have decided to hide out for a while. He can stuff a stat sheet like only a few others can and should be viewed as a first-round asset in standard leagues. He might be the best player for Daily Fantasy Sites this side of Anthony Davis. • Jose Calderon doesn't take any treys
Jose Calderon did not attempt any attempts from 3-point range on Thursday against the Bulls, scoring 12 points with three rebounds, two assists and one steal in 36 minutes.

Advice: Tonight was the first game in which he played at least 34 minutes and did not take an attempt fro beyond the arc since Feb. 15, 2012. Calderon also has just 2.9 attempt from deep per game this month, which is his lowest in a month since March 2012. Hopefully, the Knicks remember why they picked him up and have him shoot more triples. He's a nice buy-low player in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Patrick Beverley dealing with a sore calf
Patrick Beverley is dealing with a sore calf, but he will still suit up for Thursday's game vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Beverley hasn't dealt with any calf issues in the past, and he was able to play 46 minutes during his last outing putting up 12 points, 12 rebounds, five assists, and three steals, so we're going to say he's fine. Deploy him as you usually would. Rotoworld.com

    • Kawhi Leonard (hand) out Friday vs. Portland
Kawhi Leonard (hand) has been ruled out for Friday's game vs. Portland.

Advice: This will be Leonard's second consecutive game out of the lineup due to his sore hand, and we'll consider him questionable for Saturday's game vs. Dallas. Marco Belinelli, Manu Ginobili, and Danny Green will be asked to pick up the slack while Leonard is sidelined, and all those guys figure to be decent plug-and-play options in daily leagues. • Danny Green (foot) expected to play Friday
Danny Green (foot) was spotted limping to the Spurs' locker room after Wednesday's triple-overtime loss, but he's still expected to play Friday vs. Portland.

Advice: "I'm not considered one of the older guys here, so I have to play," said Green. After a very up-and-down season last year, he's hitting career-highs in all categories this season, and he's entered elite territory. Check back for an official update on his status closer to Friday's tip, but consider him probable. Rotoworld.com

    • Manu Ginobili disappointed w/ buzzer beater
Manu Ginobili said he was disappointed with his last-second shot attempt in Wednesday's triple-overtime loss to the Grizzlies.

Advice: Speaking of his buzzer-beater shot attempt that hit nothing but the backboard, Ginobili said, "It was a bad shot. I'm disappointed in the decision I made." Manu's fantasy owners can't be disappointed with his Wednesday output of 21 points, eight rebounds, eight assists, and four 3-pointers, but should expect an upcoming rest day for the 37-year-old on either Friday or Saturday. • Danny Green seen limping after Spurs loss
Danny Green (foot) was seen limping in the Spurs' locker room after Wednesday's triple-overtime loss to the Spurs.

Advice: Green took a hard foul towards the end of the first overtime, but the injury doesn't seem serious as he hasn't popped up on the injury report yet. We'll keep an eye on this one and Marco Belinelli, Manu Ginobili, and Kyle Anderson would see an uptick in fantasy value if Green misses any time. Green scored a season-high 25 points in Wednesday's loss and is worth an add in standard fantasy leagues due to his recent strong play. Rotoworld.com

    • Patrick Beverley plays 46 minutes
Patrick Beverley played 46 minutes against the Nuggets on Wednesday with 12 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and three steals.

Advice: There are some rumors of the Rockets going after Rajon Rondo, but it's fair to argue Beverley is a better fit. He's a better defender, a better shooter and doesn't need to dominate the ball -- James Harden is all they need. Beverley is worth owning in all standard leagues. Rotoworld.com

    • Wilson Chandler scores 23 with five treys
Wilson Chandler was outstanding against the Rockets during a 115-111 overtime loss on Wednesday with 23 points, six rebounds, one steal, one block and five 3-pointers.

Advice: He keeps putting up big lines and coach Brian Shaw will continue to play him huge minutes. Over his last five, Chandler has averaged 16.2 points, 6.4 boards, 1.0 steals and 2.6 triples. His fantasy owners can consider him a must-start guy, but a trade would really hurt his fantasy value. Rotoworld.com

    • Mario Chalmers struggles in 32 minutes
Mario Chalmers came off the bench for 11 points, one rebound, zero assists, two steals and a 3-pointer on 3-of-13 shooting in 32 minutes on Wednesday.

Advice: Chalmers has been quiet since the return of Dwyane Wade, but Norris Cole played just 17 minutes tonight and had one point and zero assists. If Chalmers can reclaim the starting job from Cole, which could be coming, he'll be a must-own player going forward. Just hang onto him for now, if you own him. Rotoworld.com

    • Manu Ginobili scores 21 points in 41 minutes
Manu Ginobili played 41 minutes against the Grizzlies during a 117-116 triple-overtime loss on Wednesday, scoring 21 points with eight boards, eight assists and four 3-pointers.

Advice: He started at point guard in the second half and the Spurs probably wanted this one badly. Ginobili has been effective while he's out there this season, but all the DNPs and low minutes will be annoying. He's almost a lock to rest on either Friday or Saturday. Rotoworld.com

    • Dwyane Wade scores season-high 42 in loss
Dwyane Wade hit 12-of-19 shots for a season-high 42 points to go along with four rebounds, three assists and two 3-pointers in Wednesday's loss to the Jazz.

Advice: The bad news is he hit just 16-of-21 free throws and committed six turnovers, but the fact he played so well in a pair of back-to-backs (while battling an illness tonight) speaks volumes. The Heat are off until Friday, so hopefully Wade is able to get some rest and will be ready to go. He had 28 on Tuesday against the Nets. Rotoworld.com

    • Danny Green goes bonkers in triple-OT loss
Danny Green had one of the most unique stat lines in NBA history on Wednesday during a triple-overtime loss to Memphis, scoring a season-high 25 points with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, five blocks and seven 3-pointers in 52 minutes.

Advice: He became the first player in NBA history to make seven triples and block five shots in a game. Unlike last year, Green is seeing consistent minutes and it's led to him flirting with first-round value on the season. He's not going to be this great, but he's absolutely going to smash his ADP. • Dion Waiters scores 21 in ugly loss to Hawks
Dion Waiters hit 9-of-18 shots and a 3-pointer for 21 points, three rebounds and four assists in Wednesday's brutal home loss to the Hawks.

Advice: Waiters was one of Cleveland's better players tonight, especially in fantasyland. He's coming off an abdominal injury and this game was a good indicator that he's getting back into a groove after the injury. Rotoworld.com

    • Kyrie Irving dominated by Hawks guards
Kyrie Irving managed just nine points, six assists and nothing else on 4-of-9 shooting in 33 minutes as the Cavs were embarrassed by the Hawks in Cleveland by a final score of 127-98 on Wednesday.

Advice: Jeff Teague was out, so Dennis Schroder started and had 10 points and 10 assists, and Shelvin Mack came off the bench to torch Irving and company for 24 points, which included 7-of-8 shooting and 6-of-6 shooting from downtown. Irving was clearly disturbed by getting worked over by a couple Hawks reserves, and spent time after the game on the court getting up some shots and going through drills with an assistant coach. The Hawks were not expected to win this game with Teague in street clothes, but Schroder and Mack didn't blink. Rotoworld.com

Advice: He suffered a corneal abrasion to his right eye on Tuesday, and was forced from that game. There is no word as to how severe the issue is, but we will pass along updates as needed. The Grizzlies have yet to name who will start in his place, but Courtney Lee, Tayshaun Prince, and Vince Carter will also see their minutes increased. Rotoworld.com

Manu Ginobili (back) is not listed on the injury report, and will play on Wednesday vs. Memphis.

Advice: He was given the day off on Monday to rest his ailing back, but he is good to go in a key matchup with a strong Memphis team. Tony Parker (hamstring) is inactive, so Ginobili will continue to handle the ball more and could see an uptick in his assists. Rotoworld.com

    • Kawhi Leonard and Tony Parker out Wednesday
Kawhi Leonard (hand) and Tony Parker (hamstring) will not play against Memphis on Wednesday.

Advice: This is just a reminder so owners can have a backup plan ready in time for Wednesday's tip-off. Cory Joseph is the obvious beneficiary in Parker's absence while Marco Belinelli and Manu Ginobili will see increase workloads in place of Leonard. We will update Leonard as needed and he is simply dealing with a sore hand and should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld.com

Tony Allen suffered a corneal abrasion in his right eye on Tuesday and is questionable to play on Wednesday against the Spurs.

Russell Westbrook scored 32 points on 11-of-20 shooting in Tuesday's win vs. the Kings, adding six boards, seven assists, four steals and one 3-pointer in 32 minutes.

Advice: Westbrook has had at least 20 points, five boards, and five assists over his last nine games, and has played his way into MVP consideration. He has been the best player on the Thunder this season, and is doing a fine job propelling the Thunder until Kevin Durant regains his previous form. Continue to expect big things from Westbrook as the Thunder edge closer to a playoff spot. Rotoworld.com

    • Mario Chalmers plays well off bench Tuesday
Mario Chalmers played well in Tuesday's win against the Nets, scoring 10 points to go with seven boards, five assists and four steals in 31 minutes.

Advice: Chalmers is tough to own when Dwyane Wade is active, but tonight was an exception. Mario was excellent on both ends of the floor and the four steals illustrates why he is so valuable in fantasy. He also shot 6-of-6 from the free throw line on the night, despite turning the ball over three times. He should be owned in all leagues, and will become a must-start player if Norris Cole goes down with an injury. Rotoworld.com

Jose Calderon hit just 1-of-6 shots (a 3-pointer) for three points, four rebounds and two assists in 32 minutes of Tuesday's loss to the Mavericks.

Advice: Calderon had 13 points and five assists on Sunday, but has only scored in double figures in three games this season. The entire Knicks team is a disaster this season and it's hard to say if Calderon will ever really get it going. The odds are in his favor, but whether he can stay healthy or motivated while toiling for a 5-22 team is up for debate. Rotoworld.com

    • Wall dominates again, Wiz improve to 18-6
John Wall was dominant again scoring 21 points, matching a career high with 17 assists, and adding four rebounds, a steal and two 3-pointers on 9-of-17 shooting as the Wizards beat the Wolves to improve their record to 18-6, and 13-2 at home.

Advice: Wall leads the league with seven 20 & 10 points/assists games and is a legitimate MVP candidate. He's healthy, doing and saying all the right things, and playing like a superstar these days. What's not to love? Rotoworld.com

    • Wilson Chandler (illness) feeling much better
Wilson Chandler is feeling much better, and given the fact his illness has not forced him to miss any time, we're considering him probable for Wednesday's game vs. the Rockets.

Advice: Chandler is having a solid season in Denver with averages of 14.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.3 three-pointers, 0.8 steals, and 0.4 blocks per game. Injuries will always be a concern with Wilson, but as long as he's healthy, he'll be worth owning for his across-the-board production. However, there have been a few trade rumors involving Chandler, and a move to another team would likely hurt his value. This may be a sell-high moment. Rotoworld.com

    • Lin hits rock bottom in Monday's blowout loss
Jeremy Lin missed all six of his shots and finished with two points and one assist in 17 minutes off the bench in Monday's blowout loss.

Advice: Lin has been an inconsistent mess this season but the fact remains that he's still putting up late-round value in 12-team leagues and probably at the low-end of his productivity potential. We wouldn't blame you if you dropped him, but with very little true point guard competition it wouldn't be surprising if he's back in fantasy lineups at some point. Rotoworld.com

    • Waiters quiet in 24 minutes off the bench
Dion Waiters hit just 3-of-10 shots (including a three) for seven points, two rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block in 24 minutes off the bench on Monday.

Advice: Waiters' peripheral stats float his value but that has never been a strong suit of his. He has a lot of challenges to overcome in fantasy leagues and this wasn't exactly a game-changing performance. He's not a must-own player. Rotoworld.com

    • Manu Ginobili will not play on Monday
Manu Ginobili (lower back contusion) will not play on Monday against the Blazers.

Advice: He was listed with a shoulder injury last week, so a back injury is a little more troubling. While it doesn't sound serious, this likely means Manu is going to sit out for most of the back-to-back sets. He is not worth using this week. Danny Green, Marco Belinelli, Cory Joseph and Austin Daye all benefit. Rotoworld.com

    • Westbrook shooting career-high from field
Russell Westbrook is shooting a career-high 48.9 percent from the field and a career-high 35.7 percent from behind the 3-point line.

Advice: Westbrook has been on an absolute tear this season, and he's doing it with improved efficiency. Westbrook is averaging a ridiculous 25.8 points, 5.8 rebounds and 6.8 assists to go along with 1.7 steals and 1.0 3-pointers per game. The only knock on him currently is his 4.1 turnovers per game, but considering the stats he's piling up in an average of just 29.5 minutes, none of his owners are complaining. Let Westbrook be Westbrook. Rotoworld.com
