    • Haynes: Lillard diagnosed with strained Achilles
      According to TNT’s Chris Haynes, Damian Lillard has been diagnosed with a Grade 1 left Achilles strain and is doubtful for Sunday’s Game 4 against the Pacers.

      Advice: Lillard, who has been dealing with Achilles soreness for a few weeks, aggravated the issue during Friday’s Game 3 defeat. Unfortunately, he continued to struggle with the injury, ultimately being used as a decoy during the overtime period. In addition to being doubtful for Game 4, Lillard was seen wearing a walking boot on his left foot.       Lillard suffered a strained Achilles in Friday's loss to the Pacers and there is serious doubt over his availability for Game 4 on Sunday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

      Advice: Lillard was able to return to Game 3 after suffering the injury and finished the contest with 28 points (6-20 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 12-12 FT), eight assists, three steals and one rebound over 45 minutes. Final confirmation on his status Sunday will presumably come closer to game time. AJ Green, Andre Jackson and Malik Beasley would all be candidates to see increased minutes alongside Patrick Beverley in the backcourt should Lillard indeed need to sit out.       Robinson (ankle) was a non-participant at Saturday's practice, Ian Begley of SportsNet New York reports.

      Advice: Robinson was seen wearing a walking boot on his sprained left ankle following an early exit in Thursday's 125-114 loss to the 76ers. He had accumulated two points (1-3 FG, 0-2 FT) and seven rebounds across 12 minutes before leaving. His absence from Saturdays' practice is not a good sign for his status for Sunday's Game 4, but the team has not ruled the big man out.       Advice: Robinson injured his ankle, which was operated on in December, during the first of Thursday’s Game 3 loss to the 76ers. While missing practice is not a good sign regarding his availability for Sunday’s Game 4, Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau said, “We’ll see where he’s at tomorrow” when asked about Robinson’s status.       Paul George dealt with foul trouble on Friday and only contributed seven points (3-of-11 FGs), five rebounds, five assists and one triple in 30 minutes against Dallas in Game 3.

      Advice: George was only able to play 11 minutes in the first half of this game because of some early foul trouble. He was better at staying on the floor in the second half, but he still had a poor performance after scoring 22 points in each of their first two games. PG now has committed 14 fouls through the first three games of this series, though it only limited his minutes in this one.       George racked up seven points (3-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt), five rebounds and five assists across 30 minutes during Friday's 101-90 loss to the Mavericks in Game 3 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

      Advice: George was non-existent in the loss, putting up his worst performance in quite some time. The Clippers managed to hang around but were never really in the contest.       Lillard posted 28 points (6-20 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 12-12 FT), eight assists, three steals and one rebound over 45 minutes in Friday's 121-118 overtime loss to Indiana in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

      Advice: Despite leaving Friday's game briefly with a knee injury, Lillard finished the Game 3 contest and led all Bucks players in assists while ending two points shy of the 30-point mark to provide a boost offensively in a losing effort. Lillard, who was perfect from the free-throw line to go along with a team-high-tying mark from three, has posted at least 28 points in all three games of the first round.       Advice: Lillard exited briefly during the first quarter because of an injury, but he came back quickly and was able to finish out the game. The Bucks can’t afford another injury, since they’ll likely be without Giannis Antetokounmpo for the entire first round. Dame struggled with his shot, and he was clearly banged up at the end of the game. Game 4 is on Sunday, so he will only have two days to recover before they’ll need him once again, as they look to avoid going down 3-1. After the game, Doc Rivers said that Lillard went to the locker room because of an Achilles injury, and that “Dame was really struggling. In the overtime, he said I’ll be the decoy.
