  • Nerlens Noel returned to action on Monday February 8. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 11:10 pm
  • Kevin Durant scores 32 points in win vs. PHX
Kevin Durant scored a game-high 32 points during a 122-106 win over the Suns on Monday, adding six rebounds, three assists, one steal, two blocks and five 3-pointers.

Advice: He scored 25 in the second half and is a scoring machine in his last seven, averaging 34.4 points, 9.9 boards, 4.3 assists, 1.3 blocks, 0.9 steals and 3.3 treys on 50.3 percent from the field, 45.1 percent from deep and 92.8 percent from the line. KD is getting close to a 50/40/90 year again at 50.6 percent from the field, 39.4 percent from deep and 89.5 percent from the line. He's created some separation as fantasy's No. 2 player in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:19 pm
  • Markieff Morris scores 23 points
Markieff Morris scored 23 points during a 122-106 loss to the Thunder on Monday with seven rebounds, three assists, two steals, one block and six turnovers.

Advice: Before the game, Kevin Durant said Markieff is "playing at an All-Star level right now." Morris is playing hard and he's transformed into a different player under coach Earl Watson. Morris likely boosted his trade value and the Suns may be able to get something for him. He should be owned, but a trade will hurt his value a lot. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:08 pm
  • Mirza scores 17 points vs. OKC
Mirza Teletovic scored 17 points with one assist and one 3-pointer in 20 minutes against the Thunder on Monday.

Advice: He seems to have his minutes around 20 locked up right now. In his last five, Teletovic averaged 13.4 points, 1.8 boards, 0.4 blocks and 2.2 treys. If you need some treys to stash through the All-Star break, he's not a bad idea. If the Suns make some deals, it should help Mirza. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:00 pm
  • Alex Len scores 13 points in loss
Alex Len scored 13 points with eight rebounds, two assists, one block, two steals and no turnovers in 23 minutes against the Thunder on Monday.

Advice: As long as Len can get 22-25 minutes, he'll be able to post value worth owning in standard leagues. Keep him owned through the All-Star break with hopes more opportunity opens up for him. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:53 pm
  • Meyers Leonard plays 13 minutes
Meyers Leonard scored three points with two rebounds and one turnover in 13 minutes against the Grizzlies on Monday.

Advice: He started the scoring with a 3-pointer tonight, but that was it after that. Leonard was awesome against the Grizzlies in the postseason last year, but it just isn't happening for the Legend this year. He is only a hold in deep leagues right now. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:40 pm
  • Zach Randolph scores 26 points in loss
Zach Randolph scored 26 points with nine rebounds, four assists and one turnover in 40 minutes against the Blazers on Monday.

Advice: The Grizzlies might need to play Randolph big minutes on Wednesday. He's only put up 12th-round value in his last 10 with 29.2 minutes per game in that span, so he would likely climb into the top 100 for fantasy value while Marc Gasol (knee) is out. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:29 pm
  • Gorgui Dieng double-doubles in loss
Gorgui Dieng double-doubled in Monday's loss to the Pelicans, scoring 12 points with 12 boards, four assists, one 3-pointer and one block in 31 minutes.

Advice: He would've played even more, but the game was basically out of reach in the third quarter. This was just his second 3-point make of the season, but he might be more willing to take them as his confidence continues to grow. He has been a top-40 player over his last five games with averages of 16.0 points, 10.2 boards, 3.6 assists and 0.6 blocks on 63.0 percent shooting from the field and he is showing no signs of slowing down. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:13 pm
  • Al Horford bounces back in loss
Al Horford scored a team-high 27 points during a 117-110 overtime loss to the Magic on Monday, adding six rebounds, three assists, two blocks, one 3-pointer and no turnovers.

Advice: He was 12-of-18 from the field and hit both free throws for an eight-category line. Horford was putting up an underwhelming February before this gem, averaging 12.3 points, 5.8 boards, 4.5 assists, 1.3 blocks and 1.0 treys. He's been a top-20 player this year and that should continue. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:09 pm
  • Nikola Vucevic scores 28 points in OT win
Nikola Vucevic scored 28 points against the Hawks during a 117-110 overtime win on Monday, adding 13 rebounds, six assists and one block.

Advice: The Hawks are probably glad they won't see Vucevic for a while after he beat them for a game-winner on Sunday. Vooch is playing really well again over his last five, averaging 19.8 points, 8.8 boards, 3.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocks on 51.7 percent from the field. He's sitting on third-round value on the season. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:02 pm
  • Ryan Anderson scores 26 w/ three treys
Ryan Anderson scored 26 points on 9-of-17 shooting in Monday's 116-102 win over the Wolves.

Advice: The forward added three boards, one block and one steal in 31 minutes, helping the Pelicans snap a four-game losing skid. Anderson had a six-point dud on 2-of-11 shooting on Saturday vs. the Cavaliers, so it was nice to see him get back on track. With the trade deadline just a little more than a week away (Feb. 18), expect the trade talking surrounding Anderson to heat up. The Pelicans play two more times this week. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:51 pm
  • Jason Smith scored 14 points
Jason Smith scored 14 points with one assist, two steals and four blocks in 22 minutes against the Hawks on Monday.

Advice: Coach Scott Skiles loves Jason Smith and made a quick substitution at 8:15 left in the first quarter. Smith is only going to get significant minutes when guys are in the doghouse, so he's not an add. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:47 pm
  • Marcus Morris scores 14 with full line
Marcus Morris scored 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting on Monday vs. the Raptors.

Advice: He has attempted seven or fewer shots just five times this season, but Darrun Hilliard took away some of his shots tonight. Morris added six assists, five boards, one block, three steals and two treys to give himself a full stat line, so obviously his owners didn't mind the low FGAs. He has been inconsistent at times, but he's still holding low-end value in standard leagues over the course of the season. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:36 pm
  • Jerami Grant scores 17 points in loss
Jerami Grant scored a team-high 17 points during a 98-92 overtime loss to the Clippers on Monday, adding 11 rebounds, two assists, one block and one turnover in 33 minutes.

Advice: He is starting to play with a little more consistency on the offensive end. Grant has been pretty solid in his last five, averaging 9.0 points, 5.6 boards, 2.4 assists, 1.8 blocks, 0.6 steals and 0.4 treys. He's only worth a look in 16-team leagues right now. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:16 pm
  • Nerlens Noel scores eight in 34 minutes
Nerlens Noel played 34 minutes with eight points, nine rebounds, four assists, four steals and one block against the Clippers on Monday.

Advice: The scoring wasn't there, but everything else was for Noel. He's been awesome since Ish Smith arrived on the scene and is putting up first-round value in those 21 games. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:10 pm
  • Paul George scores 21 on poor shooting
Paul George made 6-of-18 from the field for 21 points during an 89-87 win over the Lakers on Monday, adding nine rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks, five turnovers and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He was shooting the ball well before this game, but George is certainly as prone to sub-par efficiency. He'll get another tall task against Michael Kidd-Gilchrist on Wednesday, so that should be an interesting matchup on both ends. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:57 pm
  • Kenneth Faried scores 22 w/ 13 boards
Kenneth Faried scored 22 points with 13 boards, two assists and one block in 29 minutes vs. the Nets on Monday.

Advice: He would've had the game-winning layup off an impressive drive, but Joe Johnson banked in a 3-pointer at the buzzer for the Nets. Faried had a couple of nasty fouls tonight, but he looked great down the stretch and closed out the game beside Danilo Gallinari in the frontcourt. A recent report by the Denver Post said it would take a "too good to be true" offer to convince the Nuggets to part ways with the Manimal at the deadline, so his value should be safe. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:47 pm
  • DeMarcus Cousins scores 14 in loss
DeMarcus Cousins scored 14 points with eight rebounds, three assists and one block during a 120-100 loss to the Cavs on Monday.

Advice: Coach George Karl Watch is fully on right now and he might not make it to the All-Star break. Cousins said the team not playing well is not due to the players and Rajon Rondo had some comments this time. "With optional shootarounds it’s tough" Rondo said on Monday. "When three or four guys show up for shootaround this morning, how can you expect to win?" We'll see if Karl will coach the Kings on Wednesday against the 76ers. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:22 pm
  • Thaddeus Young scores 20 w/ three blocks
Thaddeus Young scored 20 points with seven boards, two assists, three blocks and one steal vs. the Nuggets on Monday.

Advice: He has now put together four dominant performances in a row with three double-doubles in that span. Young and Brook Lopez have been solid all season for the Nets despite their team's struggles, and the only thing that can really hurt them would be a trade. Lopez finished with 16 points, four boards and one block in 31 minutes. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:13 pm
  • Rudy Gay scores 16 in return
Rudy Gay scored 16 point with seven rebounds, one steal and four 3-pointers in 27 minutes against the Cavs on Monday.

Advice: His ankle sprain was expected to keep him out, but he looked OK in 27 minutes tonight -- he might have played more if the Kings weren't blown out. Even if the Kings make a coaching change, it shouldn't hurt Gay's fantasy output. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:13 pm
  • Kevin Love returns, scores 11 points
Kevin Love scored 11 points with six rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes against the Kings on Monday.

Advice: It's his first game back after missing one game due to a quad bruise. Love should be better his next time out and be an early-round guy. All that Love trade talk has subsided a bit. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:02 pm
  • Meyers Leonard, Mason Plumlee to start
Meyers Leonard will start next to Mason Plumlee on Monday vs. the Grizzlies.

Advice: The Grizzlies start a frontcourt featuring Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol, so the Blazers need Leonard's size tonight. Leonard has been inconsistent all season, so he's not a great add in most leagues. The move will send Moe Harkless to the bench. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 5:08 pm
  • Nerlens Noel (ankle) will start on Monday
Nerlens Noel (ankle) is in the starting lineup for Monday's game vs. the Clippers.

Advice: He left Saturday's game vs. the Nets for a few moments to get his ankle re-taped, but he was able to carry on and the issue didn't seem to hold him back. We will let you know how he holds up after tonight's game, but he belongs in all lineups. He scored 18 points with four rebounds, two assists, four steals and three blocks in his last outing. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:40 pm
  • Tobias Harris (ankle) out for Monday night
Tobias Harris (ankle) will not play against the Hawks on Monday.

Advice: He did not play against the on Sunday, which led to huge output for Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier. Both guys are in play for DFS and should be owned in all leagues. Harris did warm up for this one, so he has a good chance to play no Wednesday. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:33 pm
  • Rudy Gay (ankle) will start on Monday
Updating a previous item Rudy Gay (ankle) will start against the Cavs on Monday.

Advice: He was not expected to play about an hour ago, but he'll give it a go as the Kings try to save coach George Karl's job. Gay will join Rajon Rondo, Marco Belinelli, Willie Cauley-Stein and DeMarcus Cousins in the first unit. James Anderson will come off the bench. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:22 pm
  • Darrell Arthur (quad) ruled out Monday
Darrell Arthur (quad) will not play on Monday vs. the Nets.

Advice: In addition to Monday's game, Arthur is also expected to sit out on Wednesday vs. the Pistons. Kenneth Faried should be busy on Monday, while Danilo Gallinari should spend a lot of time at the four as well. Arthur belongs on the wire in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 3:19 pm
    Injured
  • Update: Rudy Gay will try to play vs. Cavs
Updating a previous item, Rudy Gay (ankle) will try to play against the Cavs on Monday.

Advice: It sounds like he is going to come off the bench with James Anderson starting over him. Gay did miss Sunday's game and is likely going to be limited for tonight. Start him at your own risk this week. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 2:50 pm
  • Kevin Love (quad) will play against the Kings
Kevin Love (quad) will play against the Kings on Monday.

Advice: He was probable and was never in jeopardy of missing this game after missing Saturday. HIs return will push Timofey Mozgov back to the bench while Tristan Thompson shouldn't play as much as Saturday. Start Love like you normally would in a favorable matchup. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 2:24 pm
  • KG out for Monday against Pelicans
Kevin Garnett (knee) will not play against the Pelicans on Monday.

Advice: He probably won't be back until next week. Gorgui Dieng is getting huge minutes and that should continue going forward. Leave Garnett on the wire in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 12:37 pm
    Injured
  • Rudy Gay (ankle) doubtful to play on Monday
Rudy Gay (sprained left ankle) is doubtful to play in Monday's game vs. Cleveland.

Advice: Gay didn't play on Sunday due to the injury, so obviously it's more than just a minor sprain. With Gay sidelined, Omri Casspi's minutes should trend up although he's still likely to (inexplicably) come off the bench behind James Anderson. From a statistical perspective, DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo will be the primary fantasy beneficiaries of Gay's absence. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:51 am
  • John Henson (back) remains out on Tuesday
John Henson (back) did not practice on Monday, and he will not play on Tuesday vs. the Celtics.

Advice: This will now be six straight games in street clothes for Henson, and there is no clear timetable for his return. It's irresponsible to stash Henson in standard formats considering he's just a blocks specialist even when healthy, but those in deeper leagues (16-plus teams) should wait until we get a clear diagnosis until making a decision. The time off during All-Star Weekend should help. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:32 am
  • McRoberts focused on health, contributing
Josh McRoberts is focused on getting healthy and contributing to the Heat.

Advice: "I’m just trying to get healthy and have a chance to help the team in a way that I know I can," he said. It's been a trying road for McBob in Miami, relegating him to waiver wire fodder in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 10:18 am
  • Darrell Arthur (quad) questionable on Monday
Darrell Arthur (quad) is questionable for Monday's game vs. Brooklyn.

Advice: Denver's big men are healthy and the Nuggets are occasionally going small with Will Barton and Danilo Gallinari, so between that and Arthur's consistent health issues, his fantasy appeal is currently nonexistent. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 9:39 am
    Injured
  • Kevin Love (thigh) probable to play on Monday
Kevin Love (quad) is probable to play on Monday vs. the Kings.

Advice: Assuming Love plays, he'll wind up missing just a single game with the quad injury. His return will push Timofey Mozgov back to the bench where he belongs, while Tristan Thompson will slide back over and assume starting center responsibilities. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 8:17 am
  • Report: ORL listening on Tobias Harris deals
The Magic "aren't discouraging" trade offers for Tobias Harris, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Advice: You could really say this about almost any player in the NBA beyond obvious franchise building blocks, but we digress. Harris was re-signed to a 4-year, $64M deal in the offseason, but the Magic are (rightfully) looking into his market with Evan Fournier and Mario Hezonja in the fold. It wouldn't be surprising if Harris is moved, but we would have said the same thing prior to this report, as well. A potential offseason trade seems more likely than a drastic midseason shakeup. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 7:01 am
  • Garnett endorses Sam Mitchell, coaching staff
Kevin Garnett recently praised interim coach Sam Mitchell and his staff for the job they've done this season.

Advice: "I feel real good about the progression of this team since Day 1, and I think it needs to be said and needs to be understood that I’m endorsing Sam Mitchell and our coaching staff and this organization," Garnett said. KG's words carry weight in the organization, but that may not prevent a coaching change at the end of the season. Rotoworld.com Yesterday, 6:16 am
    Injured
  • DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) drops 31/7/6 Sunday
DeMarcus Cousins led the Kings with 31 points, seven rebounds, six assists and three 3-pointers on Sunday, making 11-of-25 FGs and 6-of-8 FTs in a tough road loss to the Celtics.

Advice: The Kings have now lost seven of their past eight games and their season has reached a tipping point -- they are 4.5 games out of the playoff picture and may have a new head coach after the All-Star break. Cousins was coming off a triple-double and over the past three games he's averaged 28.3 points, 9.3 boards and 6.7 assists -- he'll be a fantasy stud no matter who's calling the shots in Sacramento. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 1:37 pm
  • Nikola Vucevic scores 22, buries game-winner
Nikola Vucevic scored 22 points on 11-of-19 shooting (including a game-winning, turnaround jumper) on Sunday, to go with nine boards, two assists, two steals and an unfortunate six turnovers in 35 minutes.

Advice: Vucevic's value has dipped to fifth-round status over the past month, largely due to the fact that he's been shooting just 43.5 percent from the field, so tonight's 57.8 percent shooting performance was a welcome sight for his owners. As a career 51.0 percent shooter, Vuc should get the shooting sorted out soon enough, so now would be a good time to float out some buy-low offers. The video of the buzzer-beating shot can be viewed in the video below. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 1:30 pm
  • Al Horford scores 11 points with two blocks
Al Horford struggled with his shot during Sunday's loss to the Magic, going 5-of-15 from the field on his way to 11 points, six rebounds, six assists, two blocks, one 3-pointer and zero turnovers in 35 minutes.

Advice: Horford isn’t the most exciting guy to own, but his solid percentages (on most nights), limited turnovers and relatively high assist numbers (3.1) for a big man has him churning out second-round value on the year. He’s also incorporated a 3-point shot to his game, draining 1.0 triple per contest, and he’s yet to miss a single game for Atlanta. He’s the captain of team boring for early-round studs. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 12:40 pm
  • Kevin Garnett, Nikola Pekovic doubtful Monday
Kevin Garnett (knee) and Nikola Pekovic (ankle) are doubtful to play Monday vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Neither guy is a major part of the rotation, and both can safely remain on the waiver wire in all leagues. Gorgui Dieng will continue to earn minutes in the high-30s as Minnesota's starting power forward with both Garnett and Big Pek out. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 12:12 pm
    Injured
  • Rudy Gay (ankle) will not play Sunday
Rudy Gay (ankle) will not play on Sunday vs. the Celtics.

Advice: He rolled his ankle during Friday's game and was listed as doubtful for today's contest. With Gay on the shelf, the Kings will likely play less small ball, while Omri Casspi should benefit the most from a fantasy perspective. Gay should be considered day-to-day. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:43 am
  • Darrell Arthur (quad) ruled out Sunday
Darrell Arthur (quad) will not play on Sunday vs. the Knicks.

Advice: Arthur just can't catch a break and hasn't been able to stay healthy this season. Kenneth Faried is healthy, so Arthur wouldn't have played much anyways. Expect Danilo Gallinari to play a lot of four against the Knicks as well. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:40 am
    Injured
  • Tobias Harris (ankle) will not play Sunday
Tobias Harris (sore left ankle) will not play on Sunday vs. the Hawks.

Advice: He was initially dealing with a cut above his eye and was expected to play, but he was held out of practice on Saturday due to soreness in his left ankle. Harris does have a history of ankle issues, so the Magic might just be exercising some caution here. With Harris on the shelf, we can expect to see a lot of Aaron Gordon today, while Mario Hezonja should see more playing time as well. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 8:14 am
  • Report: Kenneth Faried is not on the trade block
According to the Denver Post, Kenneth Faried is not officially on the trade block.

Advice: The Manimal has plenty of suitors and his value is very high around the league, but the Denver Post said that it would take a "too good to be true" offer to convince the Nuggets to part ways with the athletic forward. It's still unclear if the Nuggets will be buyers or sellers at the trade deadline, but nothing is imminent by any means. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 7:10 am
  • DeMarcus Cousins and Rondo are probable
DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) and Rajon Rondo (turf toe) are both probable for Sunday's game vs. the Celtics.

Advice: The Kings likely won't update their status before tip-off, but both players are going to play barring a late setback. The Kings have lost six out of their last seven games and coach George Karl is on the hot seat, so Sunday's game vs. the Celtics is going to be very interesting. Rotoworld.com Sunday, 6:48 am
  • Alex Len plays just 15 minutes
Alex Len played just 15 minutes on Saturday vs. the Jazz, scoring five points with three boards, two assists and one block.

Advice: The low minutes was a major buzzkill after the center went off on Thursday vs. the Rockets with 12 points, 18 rebounds, two assists and one steal in 27 minutes. The Suns are tanking and are clearly rebuilding for the future, so hopefully coach Earl Watson stops delaying the process and reduces Tyson Chandler's role. Len is an excellent stash for after the All-Star break, so hold him if you can. Chandler finished with 10 points, 14 boards and one block in 25 minutes. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:17 pm
  • Markieff Morris scores 17 w/ eight dimes
Markieff Morris scored 17 points with seven boards, eight assists, one steal, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

Advice: His stat line was fantastic, but the only negative is that he shot just 6-of-22 from the field because the Suns weren't generating any easy looks. The Suns have been using Morris as the focal point of their offense, but to be clear they are more than likely just showcasing him for a trade. Regardless, he needs to be owned in all leagues right now with averages of 16.0 points, 6.4 boards, 4.4 assists, 1.2 blocks, 1.6 steals and 0.8 3-pointers over his last five games. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:08 pm
  • Kevin Durant's 40 points are not enough
Kevin Durant scored 40 points with 14 rebounds, five assists, one steal, two blocks and three 3-pointers in 40 minutes against the Warriors during a 116-108 loss on Saturday.

Advice: The Thunder clawed back from an 18-point deficit to make this a game, but it just wasn't enough. As for KD, it's his third 40-point game on the year and he is tearing it up on offense right now. In his last 10, Durant averaged 32.1 points, 9.3 boards, 5.0 assists, 1.2 blocks, 1.0 steals and 2.6 treys. He is up to 27.7 points per game and trails James Harden for second by just 0.1 points per game. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:33 pm
  • Gorgui Dieng scores season-high 24 points
Gorgui Dieng put up season-highs 24 points, seven assists and 41 minutes against the Bulls on Saturday with 13 rebounds and one block.

Advice: Coach Sam Mitchell said after the game he might be willing to find out if Dieng can play 40 minutes regularly. "We're going to find out," Mitchell said. Dieng's offensive game has turned the corner in a big way with 17.6 points per game in his last five. Once the blocks start coming, he should have a sharp upward trend. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 9:07 pm
  • Zach Randolph scores 20 w/ 14 boards
Zach Randolph scored 20 points with 14 boards in 36 minutes vs. the Mavericks on Saturday.

Advice: He was a focal point of the Grizzlies' offense tonight and had a total of 21 shots, connecting on nine of them. Z-Bo also had two assists and one steal, but his production has been far from consistent lately. Even if you include this big line, Z-Bo is averaging just 14.0 points and 7.0 boards over his last five games, and he hasn't blocked a shot since Jan. 21. He's more of a late-round guy with the potential for an occasional outburst. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:46 pm
  • Thaddeus Young double-doubles again
Thaddeus Young scored 22 points with 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal and one block against the 76ers during a 103-98 loss on Saturday.

Advice: He's back with some well-rounded output. In his last five, Young averaged 15.2 points, 10.2 boards, 3.0 assists, 0.8 steals and 0.4 blocks. Young's rebounding numbers fell off in the middle of January, so getting that back is huge. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:38 pm
  • Nerlens Noel scored 18 points in win
Nerlens Noel (right ankle) scored 18 points with four rebounds, two assists, four steals and three blocks in 32 minutes against the Nets on Saturday.

Advice: He did go to the locker room to get re-taped and returned about five minutes later in real time. Noel did have something up with his left foot on Friday, but it was very minor -- he just took his shoe off. Noel is grooving since Ish Smith (ankle) arrived and even T.J. McConnell held the offense together. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 8:11 pm
  • Paul George scores 30 in win over Pistons
Paul George made 7-of-13 from the field and 14-of-15 from the line for 30 points during a 112-104 win over the Pistons on Saturday, adding eight rebounds, three assists, one steal and two 3-pointers.

Advice: After a brutal slump, George has two consecutive games with a field goal percentage greater than 52. George seems to have got his wish from back in the preseason to play less power forward with barely any run there while Myles Turner plays next to him. Expect PG-13 to hang in the top 10-20 range going forward. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 7:25 pm
  • Nerlens Noel (ankle) is available to return
Nerlens Noel (ankle) limped to the locker room during the third quarter of Saturday's game vs. the Nets, but he is available to return after getting re-taped.

Advice: He fell awkwardly on his right ankle and was in obvious pain, but he only stayed in the locker room for a few moments and is back on the bench. It sounds like he is good to go, but we will have an update after the game to let you know how he holds up. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 6:10 pm
  • Meyers Leonard scores three points
Meyers Leonard played just 15 minutes against the Rockets on Saturday with three points, seven rebounds, three assists, one steal and four turnovers.

Advice: This comes with Allen Crabbe (illness) and Noah Vonleh (ankle) out. He even made his teammate Gerald Henderson mad for missing a read on a play. Leonard is not the same player he was last year, so even the biggest Legend backers have to be off that bandwagon for this season. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 5:16 pm
  • KG out for Saturday vs. Bulls
Kevin Garnett (knee) will not play against the Bulls on Saturday.

Advice: He is not close to a return and is likely out through the break. Garnett can be ignored in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 3:38 pm
    Injured
  • Kevin Love (quad) will not play on Saturday
Kevin Love (quad) will not play on Saturday against the Pelicans.

Advice: It's a quad contusion from Friday night, which he was unable to return from in the loss. With Love out, the Cavs will likely be giving more minutes to Tristan Thompson and Timofey Mozgov. Interestingly, Kyrie Irving's usage rate is 31.6 without Love and with LeBron James, so he has a nice chance tonight. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 2:51 pm
  • Rudy Gay (ankle) doubtful vs. Boston
Rudy Gay (ankle) is doubtful to play against the Celtics on Sunday.

Advice: He rolled his ankle on Friday and did not return. The Kings will desperately need Gay to help save Karl's job, but that might not happen. If Gay doesn't play, Omri Casspi should get the start and get a chance to rebound from a rough stretch. Darren Collison and Marco Belinelli should also benefit. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 1:43 pm
  • Tobias Harris (eye) is expected to play
Tobias Harris (eye) is expected to play on Sunday vs. the Hawks.

Advice: He is dealing with a cut above his left eye that required stitches, but the injury sounds very minor. There will be another update after Sunday's morning shootaround, but it's safe to pencil him into all active lineups. Rotoworld.com Saturday, 10:39 am
  • Thaddeus Young lights up Kings
Thaddeus Young scored 14 points with 14 rebounds, seven assists and two steals in 39 minutes against the Kings on Friday.

Advice: He's finally on the right track again coming off a 16-point, 14-board game. The Nets handed out 29 assists and Thad's seven were a season high. He should be back to being a top-50 guy going forward. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:16 pm
  • Boogie Cousins triple-doubles in loss to BK
DeMarcus Cousins put up his first triple-double of the season with 24 points, 10 rebounds, 10 assists, two steals and four 3-pointers in 40 minutes against the Nets during a 128-119 loss on Friday.

Advice: Boogie was not happy at the end of this game as his team allowed the Nets to score a season-high 128. "Not going to keep blaming the guys in the locker room," Cousins said. "We got a bigger issue." Fire up the grass and snake emojis? The Kings are fading fast while the Jazz have won five straight, so the Kings have a tough job on their hands. Expect the DeMarcus Cousins trade rumors to start up in some capacity even if they don't hold a lot of weight. Rotoworld.com Friday, 9:06 pm
  • Rudy Gay (left ankle) questionable Sunday
Rudy Gay has been diagnosed with a sprained left ankle, and he will be listed as day-to-day moving forward.

Advice: X-rays on Gay's left ankle came back negative, and it looks like he'll be questionable for Sacramento's upcoming back-to-back set Sunday vs. Boston and Monday vs. Cleveland. If he's forced into an extended absence, Omri Casspi, Willie Cauley-Stein and Darren Collison will benefit, with Casspi likely returning to the starting five. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:24 pm
  • Jerami Grant scores nine in solid game
Jerami Grant scored nine points with five rebounds, four assists, two steals and two blocks in 27 minutes against the Wizards on Friday.

Advice: The highlight reel was on as usual and he turned in a really nice game on top of that. Robert Covington lost some playing time to open a window for Grant, but we'll still need to see Jerami do it again before suggesting him as an add. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:24 pm
  • Kevin Love (thigh) hopeful to play Saturday
Kevin Love (left thigh) said that he's hopeful to play Saturday vs. the Pelicans.

Advice: Love was able to limp out of the arena under his own power, and said he was "okay," and owners can expect to get another update on Saturday. If Love is unable to play tomorrow, Tristan Thompson would get all the run he can handle, with Kyrie Irving doing a bit more on offense. Rotoworld.com Friday, 8:10 pm
  • Al Horford scores 21 points in win
Al Horford scored 21 points with seven rebounds, six assists, one steal and one 3-pointer against the Pacers during a 102-96 win on Friday.

Advice: Yes, there is a reason why any team would love to have Horford on their squad. He's grown as a 3-point shooter, is a very good defender and is one of the most efficient players without requiring a high usage. Horford is just coasting along with top-20 value on the season. He also had an awesome dunk (in link below). Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:46 pm
  • Paul George's 31 points aren't enough
Paul George scored 31 points during a 102-96 loss to the Hawks on Friday with nine rebounds, six assists and seven 3-pointers.

Advice: He only turned the ball over one time in a great game. George was also 11-of-21 from the field to turn in a very efficient line. George had made just 38.1 percent from the field in his previous 10 and that's been a problem since early December. He's still a second-round player in 2016. Rotoworld.com Friday, 7:29 pm
  • Kevin Love exits game with left thigh bruise
Kevin Love was forced out of Friday's game after suffering a eft thigh bruise, and he will not return.

Advice: Love was able to limp his way to the locker room under his own power, but he looked to be in quite a bit of pain. He'll end his night with 10 points, five boards, two assists, one block and two 3-pointers, and if he's forced into an extended absence, Tristan Thompson will be the primary beneficiary. It's safe to say that Love does not love playing against the Celtics. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:23 pm
  • Tobias Harris gets stitches above eye
Tobias Harris received stitches above his left eye and he will not return.

Advice: He was bleeding quite a bit as he went to the locker room. Harris may go through concussion testing, but there is no word of anything on that front yet. He has a good chance to play on Sunday against the Hawks. Harris finished with 13 points, eight rebounds and one turnover in 28 minutes. Rotoworld.com Friday, 6:20 pm
  • John Henson (back) out Friday vs. the Jazz
John Henson (back) will not suit up for Friday's game vs. the Jazz.

Advice: It'll be Henson's fifth straight game on the sidelines, which will allow Miles Plumlee to get some extra run, although that doesn't matter in almost any league. Henson is nothing more than a shot blocking specialist, and he's not really worth holding onto in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 5:31 pm
  • Rudy Gay (ankle) out for game vs. Nets
Rudy Gay (left ankle) will not return on Friday.

Advice: He tweaked his left ankle in the first quarter and tried to play through it, but it just wasn't feeling right for him. Omri Casspi will get a bump in minutes while Willie Cauley-Stein will play more, too. Darren Collison is also playing well tonight. Gay finished with two points, one rebound and one assist. Rotoworld.com Friday, 5:22 pm
  • Rudy Gay exits Friday w/ left ankle injury
Rudy Gay exited Friday's game after turning his left ankle and has returned.

Advice: Gay walked off under his own power and might be able to return after having the ankle re-taped. It looks like he is fine. Rotoworld.com Friday, 4:51 pm
  • Kevin Garnett (leg) doubtful Saturday vs. CHI
Kevin Garnett (leg) is doubtful to play Saturday vs. the Bulls.

Advice: Garnett isn't close to making a return, so plan on him being out tomorrow. Gorgui Dieng will continue to start, and needs to be owned in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 4:44 pm
    Injured
  • DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo start
DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo are starting against the Nets on Friday.

Advice: They were expected to play the whole time and the Kings probably should've never even said they were probable. Cousins should be the focal point as per usual tonight in Brooklyn. Rotoworld.com Friday, 4:41 pm
  • Darrell Arthur (quad) out for Friday vs. CHI
Darrell Arthur (quad) will not play against the Bulls on Friday.

Advice: He is hurt quite often and could miss more games. That means we should see some more Danilo Gallinari at the four, which means more run for Will Barton and Gary Harris. Arthur can be ignored in most leagues while he's hurt. Rotoworld.com Friday, 4:23 pm
    Injured
  • Karl and Cousins are doing OK
Coach George Karl said DeMarcus Cousins is "cool" and he's "enjoyed the adventure" of tweaking his offensive game.

Advice: "I don't think Boogie is ever going to like coaches," Karl said. Karl did admit he did "stupid" things involving Cousins, so it was nice to see him take the blame. Karl praised Cousins' attitude in the preseason, as well. Cousins is expected to play tonight. Rotoworld.com Friday, 2:39 pm
  • Cousins, Rondo and McLemore expect to play
DeMarcus Cousins (ankle, knee), Rajon Rondo (toe) and Ben McLemore (wrist) are all expected to play against the Nets on Friday.

Advice: This isn't the biggest update of the day because all three are probable. Cousins had a couple minor bumps and bruises on Wednesday and it seems like every night he's suffering at least something small. For now, his owners can keep him in their lineups. Rotoworld.com Friday, 1:58 pm
  • Kevin Garnett likely out through break?
Kevin Garnett (knee) is not close to a return.

Advice: Coach Sam Mitchell said he likes the rotation as is. That means Gorgui Dieng should be locked in to the starting lineup. His scoring is way up, but Dieng's blocks have fallen off. He should be owned in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Friday, 11:33 am
    Injured
  • Cousins, Rondo, McLemore all probable for SAC
DeMarcus Cousins (ankle, knee), Rajon Rondo (toe) and Ben McLemore (wrist) are all listed as probable for Friday's game against the Nets.

Advice: All three played on Wednesday, but Rondo didn't look great and Cousins went down a couple times during the game after getting popped in the knees. It sounds like all three players are good to go, but it's probably best to watch for updates just in case something comes up during the day on Friday. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 11:21 pm
  • Meyers Leonard scored nine points
Meyers Leonard scored nine points with five rebounds, three assists and one 3-pointer in 24 minutes against the Raptors on Thursday.

Advice: The 7'1" big has one block and one steal combined since Jan. 13. He's not rebounding and he's not shooting the ball well, so it's almost impossible to defend him as a hold right now in standard leagues. Noah Vonleh (ankle) shouldn't be out long. He barely has top-200 value in 2016. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 10:17 pm
  • Ryan Anderson scores 17 points vs. LA
Ryan Anderson scored 17 points with four rebounds and two 3-pointers in 33 minutes against the Lakers on Thursday.

Advice: The shots will be there for Anderson, especially with Tyreke Evans (knee) without a timetable. He'll likely flirt with top-50 value going forward as one of the top-10 in treys. Despite coming off the bench, a trade might hurt his value. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 9:48 pm
  • Markieff Morris cools off in loss
Markieff Morris made 4-of-12 for 14 points against the Rockets on Thursday with five rebounds, two assists, one block and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes.

Advice: The offense went through him quite a bit tonight, but the efficiency wasn't there like it was in his 30-point explosion. Morris was even teaching the younger guys tonight, which didn't happen often under Jeff Hornacek. A trade will kill his value, but he's worth owning as long as he's starting. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:55 pm
  • Mirza gets 19 minutes vs. Rockets
Mirza Teletovic scored 15 points with four rebounds and three 3-pointers in 19 minutes against the Rockets on Thursday.

Advice: He seems like he's locked in as a guy to get the backup minutes behind Markieff Morris. Now that coach Earl Watson seems to have tightened up his rotation, Teletovic is worth a look as a low-end guy with some stashing upside. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:47 pm
  • Alex Len grabs career-high 18 boards
Alex Len grabbed a career-high 18 rebounds against the Rockets on Thursday with 12 points, two assists and one steal in 27 minutes.

Advice: He didn't get any minutes at power forward and that part of his minute allotment looks like it's over for now -- at least until Markieff Morris is no longer around. The Suns have said they want to go with a youth movement while making Tyson Chandler more of a leader, so expect Len to hang around the 23-26 minute mark most nights. He'll still be worth owning with that amount of playing time. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 8:34 pm
  • Meyers Leonard listed as the starter
Meyers Leonard is listed as the starter on Thursday against the Raptors for Noah Vonleh (ankle).

Advice: This is pretty useless info because coach Terry Stotts make changes all the time. We'll pass along anything additional as it comes along. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 6:07 pm
  • Darrell Arthur (quad) doubtful Friday vs. CHI
Darrell Arthur (left quad) is doubtful to play Friday vs. the Bulls.

Advice: With averages of just 7.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game, Arthur isn't worth owning in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 3:21 pm
    Injured
  • Gorgui Dieng scores 12 with five TOs
Gorgui Dieng scored 12 points with 10 rebounds and five turnovers against the Clippers on Wednesday.

Advice: Where did the blocks go? Dieng only has one block combined in his last four games in 145 minutes. His five turnovers also matched a season high. As long as he's getting minutes, he should be close to a must-start player. Rotoworld.com Thursday, 12:06 am
  • DeMarcus Cousins scores 30 in loss
DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) returned from a one-game absence and scored 30 points during a 107-102 loss to the Bulls on Wednesday, adding 11 rebounds, four assists, three steals, two blocks and six turnovers.

Advice: He was 12-of-25 from the field and 6-of-11 from the line for a 38.1 usage rate in his 37 minutes. Cousins was bothered by something at the end of the game and said something to Bulls assistant Randy Brown. "We just had a few words, nothing serious, just trash talk," Cousins said after the game. Boogie also had a couple leg injuries tonight, but it didn't affect his playing time. He is dodging some bullets when it comes to injuries right now. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 10:55 pm
  • Not Nice: Durant hits game winner, scores 37
Kevin Durant hit 27-foot game-winner during a 117-114 victory over the Magic on Wednesday, finishing with 37 points, five rebounds, five assists, two steals, three blocks and six 3-pointers.

Advice: KD is not nice. He gave Tobias Harris a dirty crossover to get free for the shot with 0.5 seconds left (video in link below). Durant is rolling in his last five, averaging 33.8 points, 9.8 boards, 4.4 assists, 1.0 blocks, 0.8 steals and 3.0 treys on 50.5 percent from the field and 90.2 percent from the line. Yes, teams have interest in signing him this offseason. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:11 pm
  • Jason Smith takes minutes from Gordon
Jason Smith played 18 minutes against the Thunder on Wednesday with 13 points, three rebounds, two steals and two blocks.

Advice: He got some important minutes tonight because Aaron Gordon was struggling tonight. Smith will likely play less in his next game. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:31 pm
  • Paul George hits 6-of-18 shots in win
Paul George hit just 6-of-18 shots and two 3-pointers for 17 points, four rebounds, six assists, five steals and a block in 33 minutes on Wednesday.

Advice: The shooting, as usual, was a concern, but he filled the stat sheet and the threes, steals and block were all nice. He's no longer playing like one of the best scorers in the league, but is still worth owning and starting every time he plays. He hasn't scored more than 19 points in four straight games, and scored just 11 in two of those. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:27 pm
  • Thaddeus Young comes through with 16 & 14
Thaddeus Young broke out of a funk and had 16 points and 14 rebounds in 35 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Pacers.

Advice: He didn't do much else, but this was just his third double-double since Jan. 15. He's still a candidate for steals on most nights and we're hoping this is a sign that he's ready to start racking up solid fantasy stats again. He had just eight points and five rebounds in his previous game. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:09 pm
  • Marcus Morris plays well in 36 minutes
Marcus Morris played 36 minutes and hit just 4-of-17 shots, but also hit two 3-pointers and five 3-pointers to finish with 15 points, seven rebounds and four assists in Wednesday's loss.

Advice: Kentavious Caldwell-Pope went down with a potentially serious groin injury, so Morris should continue to get heavy minutes going forward. He shot it terribly tonight, but the minutes were there and he should have a lot of opportunity going forward given KCP's injury. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:42 pm
  • Jerami Grant scoreless in 22 mins off bench
Jerami Grant failed to score in 22 minutes off the bench on Wednesday, going 0-of-4 from the field with four rebounds, two assists, one steal and four blocked shots.

Advice: Grant's shot-blocking is nice, at 1.5 per game, but that's not enough to prop up his fantasy value. The 21-year-old forward needs to add more 3-pointers (0.4), boards (4.4), assists (1.4) and steals (0.8), while shooting better from the field (43.1 percent) and the line (67.1 percent). Maybe next year. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:23 pm
  • Kevin Love cools off but still double-doubles
Kevin Love cooled off vs. Charlotte on Wednesday with 12 points on 4-of-12 shooting, including a 2-of-7 mark from downtown.

Advice: It wasn't a total loss, as Love added 12 rebounds, two steals, two blocks and one assist in 36 minutes. This snaps an eight-game streak of double-digit scoring for Love, tying his season high, and he's still been a top-30 option (9-cat) since the start of 2016. He'll look to bounce back vs. the visiting Celtics on Friday. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 7:09 pm
  • KG out again for Wednesday night
Kevin Garnett will not play against the Clippers on Wednesday.

Advice: The Wolves should probably do us all a favor and rule him out to the break. Garnett can be ignored in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 6:11 pm
    Injured
  • DeMarcus Cousins will play on Wednesday
DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) will play against the Bulls on Wednesday.

Advice: Sam Amick of USA Today adds the Kings need this win, which is true due to teams like the Blazers getting hot. Boogie's return will bump Kosta Koufos back to the bench while he takes shots away from basically the entire team due to his league-leading usage rate. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 5:20 pm
  • Al Horford not concerned with rumors
Al Horford said he's not concerned with the trade rumors.

Advice: "This is my team," Horford said. "I feel like Atlanta is my home so my focus is on the team. I’m not going to pay attention to all of that." He might be the best player who has been even mentioned in trade rumors, but he'll have solid fantasy value wherever he goes for his across-the-board output and stellar efficiency. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 12:18 pm
  • Stein: Raptors interested in Markieff Morris
The Raptors are showing interest in Markieff Morris, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

Advice: Stein reported earlier that the Raptors have interest in P.J. Tucker. The Raptors and Suns played last night, which included Morris going for a season-high 30 points in his best game of the season. Coach Earl Watson called Morris "the main focus" of the offense, so a trade to Toronto would cripple his value. If he's moved, that would help Mirza Teletovic, who is also believed to be on the block. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:53 am
  • Kevin Garnett (leg) doubtful vs. LAC
Kevin Garnett (right knee) is doubtful to play against the Clippers on Wednesday.

Advice: He is probably not going to play, which puts Gorgui Dieng in the starting lineup. Garnett can be ignored in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 11:39 am
    Injured
  • Darrell Arthur (quad) out Wednesday vs. Utah
Darrell Arthur (left quad soreness) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game vs. the Jazz.

Advice: Staying healthy is a constant battle for Arthur, and he's been losing minutes to Kenneth Faried, Jusuf Nurkic and Nikola Jokic as of late. There's little incentive to own Arthur in most leagues. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 9:53 am
    Injured
  • Colangelo implies 76ers will trade away a big
Jerry Colangelo said that at some point the 76ers will need to make a decision of "what to do" with Nerlens Noel, Jahlil Okafor and Joel Embiid.

Advice: "Right now, [Noel's] natural position is center. He's a rim protector," said Colangelo. "He is who he is. As you go forward and try to analyze this thing, what's the best combination? Who complements one another? How do you surround the player?" The Noel-Okafor pairing is far from ideal, and it will only get more complicated once Embiid comes into the fold. It seems that Colangelo would prefer to trade one of the bigs on the roster, but it doesn't sound like anything is imminent on that front. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 8:03 am
  • Durant and Westbrook to LA highly unlikely
The idea of Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook signing with the Lakers as free agents is "almost laughable," according to sources of Basketball Insiders.

Advice: The initial KD and Westbrook to Los Angeles story was spawned by ESPN's Stephen A. Smith, who tends to favor sensationalism over journalism, and the reality is that if the pair would like to remain together they'd make more money by staying in OKC. Additionally, it wouldn't make sense for Durant to leave the Thunder in order to pursue a championship and then wind up going through a rebuild with the Lakers. For now, Los Angeles seems like a very unlikely destination for the Durantuala. Rotoworld.com Wednesday, 6:05 am
  • Gorgui Dieng scores 19 points w/ five assists
Gorgui Dieng scored 19 points with six rebounds, five assists and one steal in 37 minutes vs. the Lakers on Tuesday.

Advice: Kevin Garnett (knee) and Nikola Pekovic (foot) are likely going to miss some more time and are also shut-down candidates, so Dieng should play heavy minutes next to Karl-Anthony Towns down the stretch. He's now averaging 17.2 points, 9.2 boards, 2.4 assists, 0.4 blocks and 1.2 steals over his last five games while shooting 63.0 percent from the field and 77.8 percent from the line, returning top-25 value in standard leagues in that span. He's poised for a monster finish to the season. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 11:19 pm
  • Watson: Markieff Morris is 'focus' of offense
Earl Watson said after Tuesday's game, when Markieff Morris exploded for 30 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, a steal, two blocks and a 3-pointer, that Morris is now the focal point of the team's struggling offense.

Advice: "He is the main focus of our offense moving forward, we know that," Watson said after the game. Morris racked up season highs in points, rebounds, assists and blocks (tie) and is officially a must-pickup player in fantasy hoops. He could flop at any time or be traded into a bad situation, but based on what his coach said tonight, you have every reason to try to get him. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:55 pm
  • Mirza Teletovic struggles off bench
Mirza Teletovic was replaced in the starting lineup by Markieff Morris on Tuesday and hit just 2-of-8 shots for six points, two rebounds, two assists and two 3-pointers in 24 minutes.

Advice: The loss of T.J. Warren for the season works in Teletovic's favor, but the return of Jon Leuer works against him. Teletovic has been too inconsistent for most of the season to warrant owning, but if he gets hot again, think about grabbing him - especially since Warren's season is over. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:39 pm
  • Meyers Leonard scores nine points in win
Meyers Leonard scored nine points with five boards, two assists and three 3-pointers in 27 minutes vs. the Bucks on Tuesday.

Advice: The minutes were nice, but the production could've been a little better. He scored 13 points with three treys in 32 minutes on Sunday, but he has been very inconsistent all season. However, Noah Vonleh went down with an ankle sprain and could miss time, so Leonard could be looking at additional minutes moving forward. For now, just put him on your radar if you could use a big capable of knocking down a couple of treys. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:27 pm
  • Alex Len invisible in Tuesday's loss
Alex Len got into some early foul trouble on Tuesday and the Suns decided to play small ball against the Raptors. Len finished with just two points and four rebounds on 1-of-5 shooting in 16 minutes.

Advice: We love Len, but tonight's disaster was painful and the fact he's not starting over Tyson Chandler doesn't help, either. Len is still a hold in most fantasy leagues, but if you feel like you can't take it anymore, you've got to do what you've got to do. He's averaging just 4.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.0 blocks over his last four games. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 9:09 pm
  • Markieff Morris goes for 30 & 11 in start
Markieff Morris started over Mirza Teletovic on Tuesday and went off for 30 points, 11 rebounds, six assists, a steal, two blocks and a 3-pointer on 13-of-20 shooting in 41 minutes.

Advice: The points, boards, assists and blocks (tie) were all season highs for the disgruntled Morris, and the Suns and new coach Earl Watson are in full showcase mode as they hope to trade Morris. This will certainly help his trade value and he is officially the hottest pickup of the night in fantasy. He could fade just as quickly as he exploded, but he's probably worth grabbing if you have someone to drop. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 8:56 pm
  • Markieff Morris will start on Tuesday
Markieff Morris will start on Tuesday vs. the Raptors.

Advice: The Suns will likely be sellers at the trade deadline and Morris is a candidate to be moved, so they're clearly trying to boost his value. He hasn't played well this season, and a trade to a contender wouldn't necessarily be a good thing for his value. For now, he's better suited for deeper leagues. Mirza Teletovic will return to the bench. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 4:55 pm
  • Markieff Morris could start Tuesday vs. TOR?
Markieff Morris may return to the starting lineup for Tuesday's game vs. the Raptors, according to beat reporter Paul Coro.

Advice: Coro is basing this assessment off newly appointed interim head coach Earl Watson's quotes from earlier today when he said he's going to "nurture and embrace" Morris. Markieff's playing time could be trending up with a new coach at the helm, so he's someone to consider as a speculative add in deep leagues if you have someone to cut. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 3:29 pm
  • Watson says the Suns will 'embrace' Markieff
Coach Earl Watson said the Suns are going to "nurture and embrace" Markieff Morris.

Advice: He said the team needs him and for Morris' attitude "to be positive no matter what." Watson talked a lot about a family environment, passion and honesty in his press conference, so Morris may be receptive at least in the short term. Morris and Watson have a good relationship and the new coach says he wants clearer roles, so there's a good chance Morris gets the lion's share of power forward minutes tonight. He's not playing well, so he's only worth a look if you have something to cut for now. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 2:08 pm
  • Durant practices in full without knee brace
Kevin Durant went through a full practice on Tuesday without wearing any brace or sleeve on his right knee.

Advice: Durant wore a right knee brace during Monday's game, but he produced a standard stat stuffing line, and after going through a full practice on Tuesday there's nothing to be concerned about here. Move along. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 1:37 pm
  • Kevin Garnett (leg) out Tuesday vs. Lakers
Kevin Garnett (leg) will not play Tuesday vs. the Lakers.

Advice: Garnett said that it's his right leg, and not specifically his right knee that has been bothering him, but he added that it's been feeling better and he expects to get back on the court "soon." His next opportunity to play will come Wednesday vs. the Clippers, so we'll be considering him questionable for that one. However, Garnett is only playing 14.7 minutes per game this season, so there's no reason to own him in any league. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 12:29 pm
    Injured
  • Report: Dubs in the running for Kevin Durant?
The Warriors have emerged as "significant frontrunners" to sign Kevin Durant as an unrestricted free agent if he decides to leave the Thunder this offseason, according to sources of Adrian Wojnarowski

Advice: In order for the Dubs to create the cap space for this move, they would need to trade away Andre Iguodala, stretch Andrew Bogut and Jason Thompson, and withdraw Harrison Barnes' qualifying offer. Durant is also by no means a lock to leave OKC this offseason, and another idea that has been floated around is him signing a two-year deal with the Thunder with a player option on the second-year, so that he would hit free agency with Russell Westbrook. This is obviously going to be a huge story this offseason, but for now, Durant is fantasy basketball's No. 2 overall option. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 11:51 am
  • John Henson out Tuesday vs Trail Blazers
John Henson (back) will miss Tuesday's game against the Trail Blazers.

Advice: Henson will miss his fourth consecutive game on Tuesday and shouldn't be owned in anything by deeper fantasy leagues at this point. Miles Plumlee will see some extra run against the Blazers, but doesn't carry much fantasy value. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 7:40 am
  • OKC mum on reason for Kevin Durant's brace
Kevin Durant wore a brace on his right knee during Monday's win over the Wizards, but the Thunder didn't elaborate on the reason.

Advice: Head coach Billy Donovan said reporters would have to ask Durant about the brace/sleeve that he wore on his right knee, but Durant left the locker room without talking to reporters. While he was seen icing the knee on the bench, KD didn't look any worse for the wear on the court en route to scoring 28 points on 9-of-18 shooting. We'll keep an eye out for updates, but it doesn't sound like this is anything fantasy owners should worry about just yet. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:37 am
  • Paul George feels like his role has changed
Paul George feels like his role on the Pacers has changed since the beginning of the season.

Advice: After a blistering start to the season, George has slowed a bit and feels that he's been less of a focal point for the Pacers lately. "It’s changed, it’s definitely changed [since the] start of the year," George said. "Just kinda felt like I had the confidence and coach was giving me the confidence with the green light. I’m still confident, guys are still making the right plays. Just seems like a transition a little bit." While George is still worth a nightly start, fantasy owners may want to test his market as he's now shooting just 40.9 percent from the field this season. Rotoworld.com Tuesday, 6:26 am
  • Rudy Gay feasts vs. the Bucks with 32 points
Rudy Gay was phenomenal in a 111-104 win over the Bucks on Monday with 32 points on 13-of-20 shooting with nine boards, six assists, two steals and one 3-pointer in 38 minutes.

Advice: DeMarcus Cousins (ankle) sat this one out, so Gay predictably took control of the offense and helped the Kings snap a four-game losing streak. Cousins' status for Wednesday's game vs. the Bulls is up in the air, so Gay could be a popular target in DFS if Boogie misses another game. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:59 pm
  • Ryan Anderson scores just nine points
Ryan Anderson scored just nine points with three rebounds, one assist, one steal, four turnovers and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes against the Grizzlies on Monday.

Advice: The dip in usage was the big story here, making just 3-of-9 from the field and 2-of-4 from the line. Even with Anthony Davis back, Anderson should be very good for as long as Tyreke Evans (knee) is out. Rotoworld.com Monday, 9:00 pm
  • Al Horford scores 10 in sub-par game
Al Horford scored 10 points with four rebounds, two assists, one block and two 3-pointers in 28 minutes.

Advice: The trade rumors are starting to heat up on Horford with him heading into free agency. Horford is having a great year as an offensive weapon thanks to extending his range. He put up top-15 value last month thanks to doing a little bit of everything. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:33 pm
  • Kevin Durant scores 28 points in win
Kevin Durant scored 28 points on 9-of-18 shooting in Monday's win over the Wizards, adding nine boards, four assists and two 3-pointers in 36 minutes.

Advice: He was wearing a brace on his right knee tonight, but there is no report of an injury. For now, his owners shouldn't be concerned. KD looked great out there despite turning the ball over a game-high seven times, and he gets a pass for that since he has been the second best player in fantasy this season. Rotoworld.com Monday, 7:43 pm
  • Thaddeus Young cooling off these days
Thaddeus Young scored eight points with five rebounds and one block in 25 minutes against the Pistons on Monday.

Advice: After he became one of the most improved rebounders in the first month of the season, Thad has cooled off. In his previous 10, Young averaged 13.6 points, 7.9 boards and 1.6 steals. He's still a very good bet to be a mid-round player going forward and flirt with top-50 value. He also had an awesome block on Ersan Ilyasova tonight (in link below). Rotoworld.com Monday, 7:41 pm
  • Garnett, Pekovic and Martin are doubtful
Kevin Garnett (knee), Nikola Pekovic (sore foot) and Kevin Martin (wrist) are all considered doubtful for Tuesday's game vs. the Lakers.

Advice: To be clear, KG isn't going to play. The 39-year-old veteran is a shut-down candidate and plays minutes in the teens when he is active, so he can be ignored in all leagues. Gorgui Dieng is a must-own player. Rotoworld.com Monday, 4:45 pm
    Injured
  • John Henson (back) will not play on Monday
John Henson (back) will not play against the Kings on Monday.

Advice: His back injury could keep him out beyond tonight. Miles Plumlee would likely get some more run behind Greg Monroe tonight, but has very little value. Rotoworld.com Monday, 3:22 pm
  • Lue wants Kevin Love to go back into the post
Kevin Love said Tyronn Lue has told him that he needs to return to being a "power player."

Advice: "He basically said that I need to go back to being more in the post, a power player, more demonstrative down there," Love said. "He just said I need to be aggressive every game and play hard. He said I'm only going to get the best out of myself if I play hard every night." The big man previously admitted that getting touches closer to the basket helps his comfort level in the flow of a game, so those with Love on the roster have to be feeling romantic about his outlook with Valentine's Day two weeks away. Rotoworld.com Monday, 8:42 am
  • Love feels more involved w/ close touches, FT
Kevin Love admitted that getting touches closer to the basket helps him feel more involved in the game.

Advice: "When I get to the free-throw line and get those close touches, it helps me have continuity and feel a little bit of a flow, involved in the offense," Love said. "It makes the hoop bigger in a lot of ways just getting those easy touches." Love has eclipsed 20 points scored in three straight games, averaging 23.7 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 blocks and 3.7 triples on 51.0 percent shooting during that stretch. • Meyers Leonard w/ three 3-pointers in 32 mins
Meyers Leonard had 13 points, six rebounds, three 3-pointers, one assist and one block in 32 minutes on Sunday, the most playing time he's seen in January.

Advice: The Wolves and Blazers shot a combined 10-of-43 from deep tonight, so Leonard's 3-of-7 mark stood out like a beacon of efficiency. He's shooting well but simply hasn't contributed enough across-the-board stats to be worth owning in typical leagues -- thus far in 2016 he's averaging 5.2 boards, 1.5 assists, 0.2 steals and 0.2 blocks. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 9:00 pm
  • Markieff Morris gets season-high four steals
Markieff Morris collected a season-high four steals on Sunday, adding 13 points with four rebounds and four assists.

Advice: Morris shot 5-of-13 from the field in 26 minutes of action, and he's showing some signs of life over the Suns' past four games. He's on the trade block but Phoenix is hoping to extract more value than what they've been offered thus far, so it looks like Morris will be stuck in his current role until the trade deadline is impending. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 7:14 pm
  • Mirza Teletovic starts, plays just 21 minutes
Mirza Teletovic had 14 points, one rebound and one block in 21 minutes on Sunday, while starting at PF ahead of Alex Len and Markieff Morris.

Advice: Teletovic has potential as a 3-point specialist if his minutes stay north of 20 per game, but his overall fantasy contributions are very limited. There are no guarantees that he'll continue to start alongside Tyson Chandler, and most owners should stay clear of him. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 7:13 pm
  • Alex Len quiet in 15 minutes off Suns' bench
Alex Len came off the Suns' bench vs. Dallas on Sunday, finishing with just six points, eight rebounds and three blocks in 15 minutes.

Advice: The Mavs deployed a small starting lineup with Chandler Parsons at PF, which may have been the catalyst for the change with Mirza Teletovic starting over Len. They'll play a more traditional frontcourt in Toronto on Tuesday, so Len's trip to the bench may be short-lived -- either way he remains a 'hold' in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 7:13 pm
  • John Henson (back) questionable Monday
John Henson (back) is questionable for Monday's game vs. the Kings.

Advice: The big man has missed the last two games with a sore lower back, so don't be surprised if the Bucks err on the side of caution. Greg Monroe will play heavy minutes if Henson can't play, while Miles Plumlee could see a few minutes off the bench. Henson is only worth stashing if you need blocks in a deeper league. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 7:00 pm
  • Nikola Vucevic's shooting slump continues
Nikola Vucevic's shooting slump continued on Sunday as he shot just 6-of-17 to finish with 16 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists and three blocks.

Advice: Vuc's rebounds, assists and blocks have been rock-solid but his shot has abandoned him -- in the past eight games he shot a combined 39.1 percent from the field. An upward correction is inevitable for the career 51.0 percent shooter. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 6:56 pm
  • Josh McRoberts logs 18 minutes vs. Atlanta
Josh McRoberts came off the bench for six points (1-of-3 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), two rebounds and one assist on Sunday, playing 18 minutes in a lopsided win vs. the Hawks.

Advice: McRoberts is on a strict minute-limit and he's irrelevant in the vast majority of leagues -- the veteran has attempted a mere 63 shots in 327 minutes of action this season. We'll let you know if his prospects improve. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 6:19 pm
  • Alex Len shifts to bench vs. small-ball Mavs
Alex Len will come off the Suns' bench on Sunday, with Mirza Teletovic starting at PF.

Advice: The Mavericks are starting Chandler Parsons at PF tonight so Len's owners shouldn't panic, even though he also didn't start the second half of Friday's game. Phoenix has every reason to find him minutes, whether he starts or comes off the bench, so sit tight. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 4:14 pm
  • Mirza Teletovic will start, Alex Len to bench
Mirza Teletovic will start on Sunday vs. the Mavericks with Alex Len moving to the bench.

Advice: The Mavericks are starting Chandler Parsons at the four with Dirk Nowitzki out, so this decision is likely due to the matchup. Teletovic did start the second half of Friday's game, but the Suns' lineup could change on a nightly basis. Teletovic is better suited for deeper leagues if you need 3-pointers. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 4:13 pm
  • Sam Mitchell says Dieng is improving
Wolves coach Sam Mitchell said that Gorgui Dieng is getting "a lot better."

Advice: "He works hard, he’s getting a lot better," Mitchell said. "When he sets good screens and rolls to the basket, it just makes us a better basketball team. It just opens up spacing and creates more opportunities for guys." Dieng admitted that it was difficult to play limited minutes under Mitchell at the start of the season, but his role has steadily increased and he said he is "more comfortable" playing the four next to Karl-Anthony Towns. Dieng scored 20 points with 15 boards, two assists and two steals in his last game and needs to be owned in all leagues. Rotoworld.com Jan 31, 9:55 am
  • Ryan Anderson scores 24 points off bench
Ryan Anderson scored 24 points off the bench on Saturday against the Nets with six rebounds, five assists, one block, two steals and five 3-pointers.

Advice: As long as Tyreke Evans (knee) is out, Anderson is going to be hanging some big stat lines. While coming off the bench isn't the sexiest thing in fantasy, shots are shots and Anderson is getting a lot of them with other stats. Expect him to be in the top-50 neighborhood in standard leagues going forward. He was a third-rounder in January. Rotoworld.com Jan 30, 8:06 pm
  • Jerami Grant scores 10 in start
Jerami Grant scored 10 points in a start against the Warriors on Saturday with one rebound, three assists, one steal and one block in 20 minutes.

Advice: The 76ers going small kind of hurt Grant a little here with Robert Covington getting big minutes at the four. Grant is coming off a big game, but his inconsistency has been his undoing in fantasy. He's fun to watch, but the inconsistency is too annoying to own him. Rotoworld.com Jan 30, 4:41 pm
  • Zach Randolph (toe) will play Saturday
Zach Randolph (toe) will play vs. the Kings on Saturday.

Advice: It's a new injury for Z-Bo, but it sounds very minor and his status was never in jeopardy. If you need points and boards, Z-Bo is still worth owning in standard leagues. Rotoworld.com Jan 30, 3:39 pm
  • Jerami Grant will start, Okafor off bench
Jerami Grant will start against the Warriors on Saturday with Jahlil Okafor coming off the bench.

Advice: Grant is going to start against Draymond Green, so his athleticism should help him. He's also coming off a career-high 21 points and we'll see if he can keep it going. It's a good matchup for him, but he's not a strong pickup yet. That might change after this game, though. Rotoworld.com Jan 30, 12:21 pm
  • Celtics interested in Horford?
The Celtics are reportedly interested in trading for Al Horford.

Advice: The Celtics have a stockpile of assets and are looking to make some noise in the playoffs, and they have also been linked to players such as Jeff Teague and Danilo Gallinari. The Hawks could look to press the "reset button" according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, and Horford could be available because he is on the last year of his deal. Again, nothing is imminent and Horford's value should be safe no matter what. Rotoworld.com Jan 30, 9:51 am
  • Josh McRoberts returns
Josh McRoberts made his return on Friday after missing almost two months, scoring two points with one rebound, two assists, one steal and one block in 16 minutes.

Advice: He looked fine and the Heat ran some stuff through him. McRoberts' knee issue probably won't go away and he can be left on the wire. Rotoworld.com Jan 29, 9:46 pm
  • Kevin Durant scores 33 points on 75.1 TS%
Kevin Durant made 11-of-18 from the field and all nine free throws for 33 points against the Rockets during a 116-108 win on Friday, adding 12 rebounds, three assists, one steal, one block and two 3-pointers.

Advice: He was cooling off a tad earlier this month, but he's rolling again. In his last four, Durant averaged 34.0 points, 11.3 boards, 5.0 assists, 1.0 steals, 0.8 blocks and 2.3 treys on 51.2 percent from the field. He's putting up wonderful numbers on two-point shots and he's been the No. 2 player in January behind Stephen Curry. Rotoworld.com Jan 29, 9:34 pm
