      Advice: After being a non-factor in the Knicks' Game 4 loss Sunday, Hart bounced back to grab double-digit rebounds for the eighth time this postseason. Hart and Isaiah Hartenstein dominated the glass in Game 5, combing for 28 of the Knicks' 53 rebounds Tuesday.       According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Mike Conley (right Achilles soreness) is out for Tuesday’s Game 5 against the Nuggets.

      Advice: While Conley wasn’t added to the injury report until Tuesday afternoon, Timberwolves coach Chris Finch said his point guard was injured on the final play of Sunday’s Game 4 defeat. His absence opens up a spot in the starting lineup, with Nickeil Alexander-Walker being the most likely candidate to fill it. While Jordan McLaughlin and Monte Morris are traditional point guards, neither defends as well as NAW.       Holmgren ended Monday's 100-96 win over Dallas in Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals with 18 points (6-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine rebounds, four blocks and one steal over 40 minutes.

      Advice: Holmgren stepped his game up on a night where Jalen Williams struggled with his shot, and the star rookie made his presence felt on both ends of the court, showing efficiency in his touch near the rim and being his usual disruptive self on the defensive end.       Josh Giddey only logged 12 minutes on Monday and finished with five points (2-of-8 FGs), two assists, one steal, one block and one triple against Dallas.

      Advice: Giddey played well over the final three games of their first round sweep of the Pelicans, but he hasn’t been able to replicate that success against Dallas. He has been a liability on both ends of the floor, which has resulted in him playing just 13.3 minutes per game through the first four games. Mark Daigneault hasn’t moved him to a reserve role yet, but he has basically been splitting minutes with Aaron Wiggins, Isaiah Joe and Cason Wallace. Joe ended up starting the second half in place of Giddey in this one. Don’t expect Daigneault to make a starting lineup change now, but all four players should continue to see minutes in the low teens, with the hot hand seeing a larger role.       Josh Hart shot 1-of-6 from the field in Sunday’s loss to the Pacers, accounting for two points, three rebounds, and two assists in 24 minutes.

      Advice: Like many of the Knicks’ available rotation players, Hart appeared to be running on empty in Game 4. He was subbed out far earlier than usual (if he sits at all), and the nature of Sunday’s game led to Hart only playing 24 minutes. The 121-89 loss was a “burn the tape” game for New York, with the additional rest for Hart and the other mainstays in the rotation being the lone positive.       Advice: Holmgren has struggled a bit against Dallas' defensive front through three games after averaging 15.5 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.8 blocked shots over four games against the Pelicans. The Mavericks have been able to stay fresh in the paint with Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively platooning at the five, and Jaylin Williams hasn't offered the same kind of secondary support.       Chet Holmgren accumulated 13 points (5-of-9 FGs, 3-of-5 FTs), eight rebounds, three assists, one steal, and four blocked shots in 35 minutes in Saturday’s Game 3 loss to the Mavericks.

      Advice: Holmgren blocked four shots in the first quarter of Game 3, which would be it for his production in that category. The rookie has been solid this series, but the advantage in athleticism that he experienced against New Orleans has not been there. And Oklahoma City having two non-shooters in its starting lineup doesn’t help matters concerning offensive spacing. We’ve seen adjustments to account for that in the last two games, with Josh Giddey’s playing time decreasing sharply, but the Thunder need more from Holmgren and the other non-SGA rotation players to win this series.
