  • Daniel Gafford records 16/11 double-double
    Daniel Gafford recorded a double-double on Tuesday with 16 points (5-of-12 FGs), 11 rebounds, one assist and five blocks against the Thunder.

    Advice: Gafford had a quiet first round series against the Clippers, but he was much better in the first game of this series. He recorded his first double-double of this postseason and swatted five shots, which was his highest block total in a game since March. Gafford has a better matchup in this series, and with Maxi Kleber sidelined for at least three weeks, he’ll continue to see extra minutes. He played 27 minutes in this game, which was more minutes than he played in any game in the first round. He’ll play a large role once again in Game 2 on Thursday. Rotoworld Tuesday, 9:25 pm
     
  • Chet Holmgren stuffs stat sheet with 19/7/1/2/3
    Chet Holmgren posted a full line on Tuesday with 19 points (8-of-16 FGs), seven rebounds, one assist, two steals, three blocks and two triples against the Mavericks in Game 1.

    Advice: Holmgren did a bit of everything in this game, which included plenty of production on the defensive end. After failing to record a defensive stat in their closeout win over the Pelicans, Holmgren got back on track in this one. While the steals and blocks are nice for DFS leagues, his defensive impact goes beyond the box score. Holmgren is a big reason why the Thunder has yet to allow 100 points in a game so far during this postseason. They’ll look to keep that streak going in Game 2 against Dallas on Thursday.   • Evan Mobley puts up 17/13 double-double in loss
    Evan Mobley recorded a double-double on Tuesday with 17 points (8-of-12 FGs), 13 rebounds, three assists and one block in Game 1 against Boston.

    Advice: Mobley didn’t have a great series offensively against the Magic, but he was able to tie his highest-scoring game from the first round on Tuesday. Most of that came in the second half, as he scored 15 of his 19 after the break, including 10 points in the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, his efforts weren’t enough to close the gap in the scoreboard. Mobley will continue to start at center until Jarrett Allen (ribs) returns to the lineup, and while he has shown flashes this postseason, the overall result of Mobley as the only big has been underwhelming.     The Knicks announced Tuesday that Robinson sustained a stress injury to his surgically repaired left ankle last week during the team's first-round series victory over the 76ers and will be re-evaluated in 6-to-8 weeks.

    Advice: Robinson won't need an additional surgery and is expected to make a full recovery before training camp, but the setback with the ankle rules him out for the rest of the Knicks' playoff run. In Robinson's absence, Precious Achiuwa is expected to re-enter the rotation as the primary backup to starting center Isaiah Hartenstein during the Knicks' second-round series versus the Pacers. Robinson made just 31 appearances during the regular season, posting averages of 5.6 points, 8.5 rebounds, 1.2 steals, 1.1 blocks and 0.6 assists in 24.8 minutes. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 5:28 pm

    Mitchell Robinson has sustained a stress injury in his left ankle and will miss six-to-eight weeks, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

    Advice: Robinson’s season is likely done, since the earliest he could return would be Game 6 of the NBA Finals, based on this timeline. He only played 12 minutes in Game 1 of this series, with Isaiah Hartenstein logging the majority of the minutes at center.     Advice: Gobert has now tied Dikembe Mutombo and Ben Wallace for the most DPOY awards in NBA history with four. Gobert was the anchor Minnesota's defense, which boasted a league-best 108.4 defensive rating.     Jarrett Allen (right rib contusion) has been ruled out for Tuesday’s Cavaliers-Celtics matchup

    Advice: Allen is set to miss a third consecutive contest after suffering a rib injury against Orlando in the first round.
