    • Luka Doncic held to 19 points in Game 1 loss
Luka Doncic struggled on Tuesday and only finished with 19 points (6-of-19 FGs, 6-of-10 FTs), six rebounds, nine assists, two steals, one triple and five turnovers against Oklahoma City in Game 1.

Advice: Lu Dort had Doncic in the Dorture Chamber in this game, which is a matchup that Mark Daigneault will continue to deploy. However, that doesn’t mean that it will continue to work like it did in this game. Luka deals with the full attention of the opposing team’s best defender every night, so this is nothing new. As one of the league’s best players, Doncic should be able to bounce back in Game 2 on Thursday, and if Dallas wants to steal a game in OKC, they’ll need him to. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:21 pm
    • Good to go Tuesday
Doncic (knee) is available for Tuesday's Game 1 against the Thunder, Rylan Stiles of FanSided.com reports.

Advice: Doncic has been upgraded from probable to available Tuesday despite dealing with a sprained right knee. Doncic averaged 34.0 points, 13.5 assists, 11.5 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks in 38.5 minutes across his two appearances against the Thunder in the regular season. • Luka Doncic (knee) cleared to play in Game 1
Luka Doncic (right knee sprain) will play in Game 1 against the Thunder on Tuesday.

Advice: As expected, Luka will be available to play after initially being listed as probable. He continues to deal with this sprain in his right knee, but it hasn’t forced him to miss a postseason game, and it is unlikely that it will. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:06 pm
    • Won't be suspended
The NBA announced Tuesday that Murray will be fined $100,000 but won't be suspended after throwing a heat pad and towel on the court during Monday's Game 2 loss to Minnesota, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Murray tallied just eight points in Monday's 106-80 loss to the Timberwolves, and threw a heat pad and towel on the court in frustration. However, the star guard will be available for Game 3 on Friday, as Denver will travel to Minnesota looking to avoid a 3-0 deficit. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:28 pm
    • Shams: Jamal Murray won’t be suspended for Game 3
Jamal Murray will be fined for throwing a towel and heat pad on the court during Game 2 against Minnesota on Monday, but he will not be suspended, per The Athletic’s Shams Charania.

Advice: Murray had two separate instances of throwing items from the bench on the court during the Game 2 loss, but it won’t result in him missing any time during this series. A substantial fine should be enough for him to not throw anything else on the court, but if it happens again, a suspension wouldn’t be surprising. They’ll head to Minnesota down 2-0, but they’ll at least have their star point guard as they try to climb out of the hole. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:19 pm
    • Wins Defensive Player of the Year
The NBA announced Tuesday that Gobert (personal) has been named the 2023-24 Kia NBA Defensive Player of the Year.

Advice: Gobert has now tied Dikembe Mutombo and Ben Wallace for the most DPOY awards in NBA history with four. Gobert was the anchor Minnesota defense, which boasted a league-best 108.4 defensive rating. The defensive stalwart's 2.1 blocks per game ranked sixth in the NBA while his 12.9 rebounds per contest ranked second. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:44 pm
    • Cold shooting in Game 2 defeat
Murray finished with eight points (3-18 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 13 rebounds, two assists, one block and two steals across 36 minutes during Monday's 106-80 loss to Minnesota in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Murray has struggled badly in the postseason when it comes to his efficiency despite the fact he had some good moments in the series against the Lakers. However, Monday's game was a new low for him, as he missed 15 of his 18 shots and didn't reach the 10-point plateau for the first time since Feb. 29. Murray needs to bounce back if the Nuggets want to have a shot at turning things around. He's averaging 12.5 points per game while shooting just 28.1 percent from the floor in his first two appearances in the series. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:48 am
    • Efficient double-double in win
Towns closed with 27 points (10-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), 12 rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal across 36 minutes during Monday's 106-80 win over the Nuggets in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals.

Advice: Towns was tasked with more responsibility on the defensive end since Rudy Gobert (personal) was unavailable for this contest. Even though he had to deal with Nikola Jokic on both ends of the court, Towns thrived and posted a great stat line. This was Towns' third double-double over his last four playoff appearances, and he's expected to return to his role at power forward in case Gobert is ready to return for Game 3 of the series, scheduled for Friday. • Jamal Murray (calf) struggles in Game 2 blowout
Jamal Murray (left calf strain) shot 3-of-18 from the field and 2-of-2 from the foul line in Monday’s 106-80 loss to the Timberwolves, finishing with eight points, 13 rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in 36 minutes.

Advice: Murray had a rough night at the office, as Denver fell into an 0-2 hole. He struggled with his shot throughout and was also visibly frustrated with the officials. Things reached a head during the second quarter when an angry Murray threw a heat pack onto the court. No technical foul was called at the time, but the NBA is likely to hand down a punishment of some kind before Game 3 on Friday. The three days off come at a good time for Murray, who is in serious need of some time to rest his ailing calf. Rotoworld Monday, 10:09 pm
